Episode 586 – Give the Kid a Break!

Bari Weiss makes a claim against the New York Times but is anyone surprised?

You’ll be shocked as to why our children are getting fat. Actually, you probably won’t be.

And the media’s war against Christianity continues.

 

We Already Know This

Bari Weiss used to work for the New York Times a long time ago so she has had experience with them and knows a lot of people there. Then she said something that is so shocking and yet not really on her podcast last week.

Is this really a shock if it is true? Do you listen to mainstream outlet like MSNBC, CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, Reuters, the AP, the New York Times and the Washington Post? They all say the same thing that the White House and the Democrats say, all at the same time. I thought the mainstream media was taking direction from the Democrats.

This might not be a story except that this is all kind of illegal. That’s because a news outlet or a social media outlet cannot be government entities. It violates the First Amendment. There is another guy that is suing Twitter and the United States government because he was suspended and, apparently, he has evidence that Twitter was working with the United States government.

More on all this later. I’d love to hear any evidence.

No, Probably Not the Weather

A new study has found that children are getting fatter. Well, duh. But the study also came up with a reason. That reason is climate change. That’s right! The weather is making our kids fat. This was being pushed by CBS News (what a shock). Listen to this remarkable reporting.

I am, first, going to give this guy a break. He did point out the obvious facts. Technology is a big problem. But it isn’t just the Internet, social media, smart phones and video games.

  • The government locked our kids up for two years.
  • Our education system tells over half of their students that they are bad because of the color of their skin.
  • Our education system is worried about the sexuality of their children and enable any delusions.
  • And, of course, there is the Internet, social media, smart phones and video games.

I know this sounds like the BS story I would read to get a laugh, but it’s not. This is as serious a story as it gets.

  • We are already at a negative population growth rate.
  • We are already at an amazingly high drug overdose deaths.
  • We have a mental health crisis among teens.
  • We have a really high teen suicide rate.
  • That suicide rate is going to be a crisis in ten years, if not sooner.

Here’s the problem, the Left always mixes their ideology with tragedy. Nothing ever gets solved. They’re not solving homelessness, drug addiction, crime, the school system, suicides. All they do is say they can solve it by giving them money and power.

Attacking the Little Guy…or Girl

Nothing is sacred. According to Fox News:

An 8-year-old girl selling lemonade near an Ohio food festival had her operation shut down by local police after they received a complaint.

Asa Baker was selling lemonade in an alley outside the business where her father works near the Alliance, Ohio Rib and Food Festival last weekend when she says a local police officer asked her to shut down the stand, WJW-TV reported.

Here’s the thing, no one felt good about this. Including the festival that complained.

  • “Well, they were really sad that they had to shut me down but they gave me $20 to try and pay for it,” Baker said, explaining that the officer gave her $20 for her to use to purchase the needed permit.
  • Alliance Police Lieutenant Don Wensel told WJW–TV that police received a complaint from festival organizers who seemed to be conflicted about voicing their concerns but ultimately officers are required to enforce local ordinances.
  • “I could definitely tell he did not want to shut her down, but, I mean, you get a call, he has to do it. He definitely did the right thing, you know, in the situation he was put in,” Katrina Moore, Asa’s mother, told the outlet.
  • “In order to get a food vendors license, it only lasts for five days and its $40 for five days so that’s kind of out of the picture. If she wants to sell on the street, she has to get a street permit. If she sells in front of a business, we have to get a solicitors permit,” Moore said.
  • Baker’s lemonade stand was up and running again on Friday in front of local business owner Eric Strata’s location where police said they would not interfere.  Strata had seen a Facebook post about Baker’s predicament and offered to help with the permit process.
  • “He (the officer) had to do his job, but it just felt so unjust to me because she’s 8, she’s just an innocent little girl that wants to be motivated and wants to do something with herself. Why shut that down?” Strata said.

This is just such a sad story. This little girl is going to go places. She’s not sitting on her smart phone doing TikTok videos and watching Friends. She’s trying to be something.

Here’s the thing, only the government was wrong here. Everyone else is blameless:

  • The little girl isn’t wrong because she practicing capitalism.
  • The police aren’t wrong. They did what they had to do and felt bad about it. In fact, they gave her the money to get the permit.
  • The management at the festival weren’t wrong. They were conflicted about shutting her down.
  • Even the organizers weren’t wrong because they used regulation to squeeze out every penny they could from their event that they invested in. In fact, they were doing the same thing that little girl was doing: practicing capitalism.

The government was wrong here. They set up regulations that made it that this little girl couldn’t compete with the bigger business. Bigger businesses and corporations will always use regulations to shut down the competition. Maybe less regulation causes more business. More innovation. More competition. More competition creates better products and services. Maybe this little girl’s lemonade was better than what they served at the festival.

Government sucks at everything. The police knew it. The festival managers knew it. Big business knows it. Government makes regulations. Government knows nothing about capitalism.

Think about that the next time your taxes are raised, 87,000 more IRS agents are added, more regulations are created and taxes go up so the government can spend more.

The War Against Religion

This is just amazing.

Atlantic contributor Daniel Panneton compared the prayer beads to an AR-15 rifle in his Sunday article entitled, “How Extremist Gun Culture Is Trying to Co-Opt the Rosary.” Let’s read a little of it.

Just as the AR-15 rifle has become a sacred object for Christian nationalists in general, the rosary has acquired a militaristic meaning for radical-traditional (or “rad trad”) Catholics. On this extremist fringe, rosary beads have been woven into a conspiratorial politics and absolutist gun culture. These armed radical traditionalists have taken up a spiritual notion that the rosary can be a weapon in the fight against evil and turned it into something dangerously literal.

I love when people make up terms like “rad trad”. I have never heard of anything like this.

I will also say that I have never had my rosary anywhere near my gun. In fact, I’ll go a step further, most devout Catholics are peaceful no matter the situation. “Turn the other cheek” is taken very seriously by fundamental Catholics.

Their social-media pages are saturated with images of rosaries draped over firearms, warriors in prayer, Deus Vult (“God wills it”) crusader memes, and exhortations for men to rise up and become Church Militants. Influencers on platforms such as Instagram share posts referencing “everyday carry” and “gat check” (gat is slang for “firearm”) that include soldiers’ “battle beads,” handguns, and assault rifles. One artist posts illustrations of his favorite Catholic saints, clergy, and influencers toting AR-15-style rifles labeled sanctum rosarium alongside violently homophobic screeds that are celebrated by social-media accounts with thousands of followers.

I love the way the media conflates one nut to all Catholics. This is just another way to demonize Christianity. By the way, do you ever see the media do this with Islam? Why do they feel the need to do this? That’s because the founding principles of the country are based on Christian concepts and our country is bad, so the concepts must be bad.

The theologian and historian Massimo Faggioli has described a network of conservative Catholic bloggers and commentary organizations as a “Catholic cyber-militia” that actively campaigns against LGBTQ acceptance in the Church. These rad-trad rosary-as-weapon memes represent a social-media diffusion of such messaging, and they work to integrate ultraconservative Catholicism with other aspects of online far-right culture. The phenomenon might be tempting to dismiss as mere trolling or merchandising, and ironical provocations based on traditionalist Catholic symbols do exist, but the far right’s constellations of violent, racist, and homophobic online milieus are well documented for providing a pathway to radicalization and real-world terrorist attacks.

When he talks of militias campaigning against LGBTQ crap, what he means is we disagree with them. Of course, the radicalism of the LGBTQ is never discussed. Trans-ing kids and drag queen shows in kindergarten classrooms is not radical. Personally, I don’t think we do enough to push back against that crap.

By the way, what right wing violence is he talking about? All these guys claim the is so much right wing, white supremacist violence but I never see any actual right wing and white supremacist violence. All the violence I see comes from the Left, mostly in Leftist cities, and it’s on a daily basis.

The rosary—in these hands—is anything but holy. But for millions of believers, the beads, which provide an aide-mémoire for a sequence of devotional prayers, are a widely recognized symbol of Catholicism and a source of strength. And many take genuine sustenance from Catholic theology’s concept of the Church Militant and the tradition of regarding the rosary as a weapon against Satan. As Pope Francis said in a 2020 address, “There is no path to holiness … without spiritual combat,” and Francis is only one of many Church officials who have endorsed the idea of the rosary as an armament in that fight.

What Pope Francis said was rhetorical, not literal.

Episode 585 – Who Writes This Stuff?

A ton of Kamalaisms were created this weekend. Let’s go through them.

The warrant for Donald Trump’s mansion was released.

And let’s go through some news.

 

Kamalaisms

A lot of things are happening and that means the Biden administration has to do some talking to make them appear in charge. That’s a good thing because it gives me more Kamalaisms to play. Heck, it seems that the Biden administration is making so many comments, I should be able to spend an entire episode on Kamalaisms.

The only one in the Biden administration that is not making any comments is Joe Biden himself. He, again, is on vacation, spending time on a private island in South Carolina with his drug addict, criminal son.

Can you feel the leadership?

On with the Kamalaisms. Here is Karin Jean Pierre on ABC being asked about the Inflation Reduction Act not actually reducing inflation. She does, pretty much, what she always does. Lie and not answer the question:

  • There’s more in there that shows what?
  • How does making the tax code and spending more money lower inflation?
  • How does raising taxes cure inflation?
  • Of course raising taxes and spending more money doesn’t lower inflation, this bill doesn’t lower inflation, so she doesn’t answer the question.

Here is Pramila Jayapal downplaying inflation by saying it is only a theory. Listen:

  • This is evidence of two things:
    • These people are out of touch with the plight of the people.
    • And these people are just really stupid.
  • This is the same thing they did with recession:
    • First, there is no inflation.
    • Second, inflation isn’t that bad.
    • Third, inflation is good.
    • Finally, there is no such thing as inflation.
  • Of course, I forgot to mention they change the definition of inflation which is what Joe Biden did last week, saying that there is zero inflation by his redefinition.
  • The only thing I know is I paid $6 a pound for hamburger last week.

Now, let’s go to the queen of Kamalaisms, Kamala herself.

Here she is at a speech about space exploration. I don’t know who writes her speeches, but he should be fired. I know he can’t be because he’s probably a bipoc trans lesbian and that how it got his/her/their job. Listen to this mess of words:

Her speeches are just clichés and keywords strung together. There is no meaning. Do you have any idea what she is saying? I asked Josie if she had any idea what she was saying and she had no idea.

Here she is at another speech. She’s wearing the same outfit so I’m thinking this is on the same day. This isn’t so much a Kamalaism, which it is because it’s a circular argument, but it is what the Left believes and it is just completely wrong. Listen:

  • Everything she said is wrong but it’s not because she said it badly. It’s because this is the philosophy of the Left and the philosophy is wrong.
  • People do not have the same capacity. I will never write like Shakespeare or play basketball like Michael Jordan. That’s because of my limited capacity.
  • Citing equity, taking from those that have more and giving it to people that have less, as the way to increase one’s capacity is just stupid.
    • Do you really believe that giving me more of a rich person’s money is going to make me a better writer or athlete?
    • That’s what they think.
    • The Green New Deal actually stated that.

  • On Sunday, at 4 AM, a man inside a burning car, smashed into a barrier in front of the Capitol building.
    • The man then got out of the car and started shooting at no one in particular.
    • Before the Capitol police could arrive and fire back, he shot himself in the head.
    • There is no motive. Nobody else was hurt or killed.
    • This looks like a suicide by cop thing.
  • We sometimes forget that people killed in terrorist attacks leave a wake of tragedy behind.
    • Lance Cpl. Kareem Nikoui, 20, from Norco, California, was one of 13 American troops killed on Aug. 26, 2021, when a suicide bomber detonated an explosive outside the Kabul airport as crowds of Americans and Afghan allies sought to flee Taliban fighters taking over control of the capital city.
    • A year later, his brother, 28-year-old Dakota Halverson, committed suicide in front of a memorial for lost soldiers on August 9th.
    • I’m sure the Biden administration and the media will completely ignore this story.

Finally Released

The DOJ and Trump lawyers finally released the warrant that was signed by that Obama judge.

Here’s what the warrant ordered:

  • The premises to be searched, 1100 S Ocean Blvd, Palm Beach, FL 33480, is further
    described as a resort, club, and residence located near the intersection of Southern Blvd and S
    Ocean Blvd. It is described as a mansion with approximately 58 bedrooms, 33 bathrooms, on a
    17-acre estate. The locations to be searched include the “45 Office,” all storage rooms, and all
    other rooms or areas within the premises used or available to be used by FPOTUS and his staff
    and in which boxes or documents could be stored, including all structures or buildings on the
    estate. It does not include areas currently (i.e., at the time of the search) being occupied, rented,
    or used by third parties (such as Mar-a-Largo Members) and not otherwise used or available to be
    used by FPOTUS and his staff, such as private guest suites.
  • All physical documents and records constituting evidence, contraband, fruits of crime, or
    other items illegally possessed in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 793, 2071 , or 1519, including the
    following.
  • Any physical documents with classification markings, along with any
    containers/boxes (including any other contents) in which such documents are located, as
    well as any other containers/boxes that are collectively stored or found together with the
    aforementioned documents and containers/boxes.
  • Information, including communications in any form, regarding the

Of course, then there is the napkin thing, the menu thing, the letters from foreign presidents thing. There is searching through the First Lady’s wardrobe. We also learned, from Trump, that the FBI took papers that were protected under client/attorney privilege and took three passports, including one that is expired. This stuff can’t be used legally against Trump, but I’m sure some of the more personal things that might embarrass Trump will be leaked. That’s what the FBI does with political enemies.

And, this is just in, the DOJ has asked the courts to keep the affidavit sealed. That’s important because it gives the justification for the warrant. The warrant doesn’t actually tell us much.

The FBI is a political enemy because they are a bureaucracy. Trump wants to tear down bureaucracies which he calls the “Deep State”. They need to tear him down first. We need to get the affidavit. That will tell us the justification for the warrant.

Episode 583 – The BS is Strong in This One

 

 

This is Going to Backfire

This whole Trump raid is turning into a circus and no one from the Biden administration is addressing it. Worst of all for them, it looks like it is going to backfire. This shouldn’t be a shock. Every decision Joe Biden or anyone else in his administration, has made has turned out to be wrong.

Here are some more details of the raid.

  • The raid started at 9 AM and finished at 6:30 PM. That’s 9 1/2 hours.
  • There were 30 agents with a U-Haul truck.
  • Trump lawyers were there but were not allowed in the house during the search.
  • They were told to turn off all security cameras. Trump lawyers did not comply.
  • Trump’s office was “ransacked”.
  • They took over twelves boxes of things including:
    • A letter from Barrack Obama.
    • A letter from Kim Jong-Un.
    • A cocktail napkin.
    • A birthday menu.
  • A professional safe cracker was used to get into a safe Trump had.
  • Melania Trump’s wardrobe was searched. What the hell were they looking for there?

We are also hearing about the judge that signed the search warrant:

  • His name is Judge Bruce Reinhart.
  • Reinhart was elevated to magistrate judge in March 2018 after 10 years in private practice.
  • He donated money to the Barrack Obama Presidential campaign.
  • He worked for Jeffry Epstein. I’m not kidding.
    • He quit his job at the state attorney’s office to help Epstein and two of his employees.
    • He was involved in the negotiation that got Epstein and these two employees off of jail time for sex trafficking minors.
    • He was named in a lawsuit by two of Epstein’s victims.
  • This guy is actually on lists to be a Supreme Court Justice!
  • Yeah, no chance of corruption here.

There is comment from the White House. There is no comment from the Department of Justice. There is no comment from the FBI. The Secret Service has no comment.  We still have not seen the warrant. In other words, we do not know why this was done.

Democrats are pretty much silent about this. Even Chuck Schumer won’t comment on it because he says he doesn’t know anything about it. You know why you don’t see this overwhelming joy by the Left? Because anyone with a brain can see this is a very dangerous and one-sided move. Even CNN is saying this might have consequences, that this may not have been the best of ideas. Now, mind you, that in between all the joy. CNN is now saying that Conservatives are going to start getting violent. Of course, they say that all the time.

Here’s the thing, I don’t think CNN is wrong now. I think people are sick of the extremism of the Left. They are sick of the two-tier justice system where people can riot if it’s for BLM but are jailed if they question the election results. They are sick of the talk of socialism and the implementation of these socialist policies. They are sick of their children being indoctrinated. Now we see that the institutions are being weaponized against a former President. How long will it be before they come after us? Not long I think seeing they are hiring 87,000 IRS enforcement officers. Seeing how they want to take away our gun rights.

People are not going to tolerate this.

It Still Continues

What’s worse, the government is not stopping these Gestapo tactics.

According to Fox News:

Republican Rep. Scott Perry of Pennsylvania says that the FBI has confiscated his cellphone.

Perry, in an exclusive statement, told Fox News on Tuesday that while traveling with his family earlier in the day, he was approached by three FBI agents who handed him a warrant and requested that he turn over his cellphone.

The confiscation of the congressman’s personal phone comes one day after FBI agents searched former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida.

Scott is a huge Trump supporter and also questioned the legitimacy of the 2020 election. He said in a statement:

“This morning, while traveling with my family, 3 FBI agents visited me and seized my cell phone. They made no attempt to contact my lawyer, who would have made arrangements for them to have my phone if that was their wish. I’m outraged — though not surprised — that the FBI under the direction of Merrick Garland’s DOJ, would seize the phone of a sitting Member of Congress. My phone contains info about my legislative and political activities, and personal/private discussions with my wife, family, constituents, and friends. None of this is the government’s business.”

All this talk about about how women should be able to kill their unborn babies because they have a right to privacy, but a Congressman can’t have a private cell phone and a vacation without being harassed by the FBI because he talks to a political enemy all because of a two hour riot by a bunch of idiots. That’s why our rights are being taken away.

Here’s the Good News

I do have some good news here. There is hope. The Biden administration is incompetent and everyone knows it. We can see that in yesterday’s press conference with Karin Jean Pierre. It’s hard to believe she was not prepared for questions about the raid.

This is the first question she was asked by the press after her initial spiel. Her answer was less than satisfying:

You can tell she’s lying. You know how? Her answer is a minute and a half long. That’s right. She’s lying because she’s talking.

Of course they knew this was happening. You mean you want me to believe that the sitting President didn’t know that the President was being raided by his DOJ and FBI. I don’t care what he said two years ago. I care only about what he actually did two days ago and why he did it. Actions speak louder than words and his actions of a couple of days ago kind of negate what he said two years ago. Yes, I’m saying that statement she read was Joe Biden lying.

By the way, Joe is in charge of the FBI and DOJ. If he doesn’t know, doesn’t that show that he is incompetent at managing his administration?

Of course, she does what she always does when she doesn’t want to answer a question. She tells them to go away and talk to someone else. The entire press conference went this way. It was forty minutes of reporters asking her about this raid and why it happened. It just shows that the press didn’t believe her.

Of course, we need to listen to Peter Doocy interrogate her and this was gold. He completely had her trapped and off balance. This poor broad is going to have a stroke one day right at the podium.

Some things:

  • She talks about Trump all the time. This is just a lie and we all know it. They constantly talk about Trump to deflect on their failures and there are a lot.
  • They need to run on something for the November elections and they have chosen to bring Trump into the spotlight. They want to run against him.
  • Doocy just gave the motive for the raid at Mar a Lago.

Now for the real question:

Some things:

  • It is a yes/no question.
  • She won’t answer it.
  • In other words, she won’t say no to weaponizing the institutions.
  • By the way, if they don’t know what’s going on, how do they know it’s a criminal investigation?

In his final question, Doocy closes the circle. At first, it might sound like this has nothing to do with the raid, but it does. Let’s see if you can catch the reason Doocy asks the question:

  • Bullshit and she knows it. There aren’t that many people who make $400,000 a year that requires 87,000 agents.
  • There are small businesses that make more than $400,000 a year (though their profit margins are slim, look at restaurants). They are going after them.
  • And they will be going after people that make less than $400,000. Why would you need so many enforcement agents otherwise? Doocy is creating a sound bite for when people complain.

Episode 582 – This is Going to Turn Out to be a Mistake

The Biden administration continues to militarize the bureaucracies.

Who knew the French had a sense of humor.

And everything is racist.

 

This Could Be the Start

The Department of Justice and the FBI are proving that we need to change the way our justice system works. And, with all the talk of revolution and civil war, these kind of things can lead to them.

Yesterday morning, the FBI raided Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home, cracked a safe and took out fifteen boxes of paperwork. The grabbed paperwork, indiscriminately which means they possibly grabbed private papers. This is unheard of. It has never happened in the history of the Presidency. Even when Bill and Hilary Clinton stole $28,000 of White House property did the FBI raid the home of a past President.

Hell, they never raided Hilary Clinton’s home when she created a secret, personal server that was holding classified material, giving her the time destroy the servers and zero out the data on the hard drives.

Apparently this raid had nothing to do with January 6th. Trump had some papers that the Presidential Archive wanted back. Nothing is illegal here. Presidents typically take paperwork from the White House if they feel it is not important to the national archive. But when the archive wants the papers back, typically this goes to court. The FBI, through orders of the DOJ, don’t raid the homes of former Presidents.

Trump released a statement:

There are two things we can learn from this.

  • Our bureaucracies are broken. They either need to be eliminated or fixed.
  • This is how revolutions and civil wars are started.

After the raid went public, crowds appeared outside the mansion protesting. People do not like this. It also will probably have the opposite effect. Trump seems more motivated to run than ever and hinted at that yesterday. This going to motivate people to start defying the government. To fight back. And it’s crap like this that got Trump elected in the first place. Combined with the failure of the Biden administration, this will get Trump elected again. It makes him look like a victim and is further proof there is an imbalance when it comes to justice which is what Trump has been saying for years.

Well, I will bet you a dollar that embarrassing stuff will be leaked by the FBI from the papers that they confiscated. The whole goal here is to harass and embarrass Trump so he doesn’t or can’t run in 2024. This stuff is going to be leaked in October before the elections so the Democratic candidates can talk about something and not the mess they have created through their crappy policies.

  • This is not the FBI and DOJ being non-partisan.
  • If they were being non-partisan, they would have done the same thing to Hilary.

  • He seems to be thrilled about the militarization of the FBI. He doesn’t get that he is threatening us.

One reporter asked the main question: Does this mean that Trump can’t run in 2024. That’s what they are concerned with.

 

The Left

Surprisingly, the Leftist politicians have been rather quiet about this. Nothing from Ilhan Omar or AOC. Probably because they realize that this might not be a move that most Americans won’t agree to this not to mention they hate law enforcement.

But Rep. Pramila Jayapal, (D-Wash.), who is beyond stupid, had something to say. She tweeted:

“That’s what happens when you break the law, try to steal an election, and incite a deadly insurrection. Donald Trump should be in jail. I’m glad to see the FBI taking steps towards accountability.”

Mind you, this is a woman who wants to defund the police. She thinks the law is bad except when she can use it to get rid of her political enemies.

Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.), who is a moderate Democrat, said on MSNBC:

“But look, the FBI doesn’t just go in unless a judge signs off on a search warrant. That means they have some probable evidence about possible wrongdoing. And it’s something that the whole country needs to pay attention to and shows that Justice Garland, Attorney General Garland is setting this up step by step.”

He’s actually right here. We should wait. But, we have seen in the past, the Biden administration and Merrick Garland have not been exactly transparent when it comes to what they do. We will have to see what  happens.

 

Republicans

Republicans are screaming about this. They should. They should even make this a campaign issue and run on how dangerous these Leftist Democrats are.

Ron DeSantis tweeted:

“The raid of MAL is another escalation in the weaponization of federal agencies against the Regime’s political opponents, while people like Hunter Biden get treated with kid gloves. Now the Regime is getting another 87k IRS agents to wield against its adversaries? Banana Republic.”

House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy tweeted:

“Attorney General Garland: preserve your documents and clear your calendar.”

This is going to happen.

South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem tweeted:

“The FBI raid on President Trump’s home is an unprecedented political weaponization of the Justice Department. They’ve been after President Trump as a candidate, as President, and now as a former President. Using the criminal justice system in this manner is un-American.”

Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel tweeted:

“Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Countless times we have examples of Democrats flouting the law and abusing power with no recourse, including Hunter Biden. Democrats continually weaponize the bureaucracy against Republicans. This raid is outrageous.”

There is a stark difference between the reaction of Democrats and Republicans. I am surprised by the lack of response from Democrats. Probably because they know that the Republicans are right. They would be fools not to use this as a platform for the midterm elections in November.

Maybe Jalen should learn a little history before he starts talking crap.

  • The land was not “stolen” from the Native Americans”. It was either bought from them, like New York, or they were conquered. That’s how land is usually acquired.
  • The Indian tribe that owned that land had to conquer another Indian tribe to own that land. And another tribe conquered that tribe. Native Americans always warred. Usually, the ended up enslaving or eating those they conquered. Indians were not peaceful.
  • When you think of scalping, what civilization (and I use that term loosely) do you think of? Indians were brutal. They also didn’t give a damn about the environment. Examples of violence and destruction can be pointed to the Aztecs, Mayans and Incas.
  • Smaller Indian tribes actually joined up with the colonists to fight against the more vicious tribes.
  • Finally, people like this idiot always point to how 90% of the Indians were killed by the colonists. They fail to point out that the Indians killed over 30% of the colonists.

This is just some of the trivia about the barbarity of the Indians. I think Jalen should just shut up and dribble and stop talking about things he knows nothing about.

A French scientist has had to apologize for his spicy space prank after he tweeted a picture of a slice of chorizo, claiming it was a distant star captured by the James Webb Space Telescope.

Étienne Klein — a physicist and director at France’s Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission — shared the photo of the slice of cured meat on Twitter last week, gushing over the “level of detail” it provided.

“Picture of Proxima Centauri, the nearest star to the Sun, located 4.2 light years away from us. It was taken by the James Webb Space Telescope,” a translation of the tweet read. “This level of detail… A new world is unveiled everyday.”

He later tweeted an apology and a picture of the real galaxy. He tweeted:

“Well, when it’s cocktail hour, cognitive bias seem to find plenty to enjoy… Beware of it. According to contemporary cosmology, no object related to Spanish charcuterie exists anywhere else other than on Earth.

“In view of some comments, I feel compelled to clarify that this tweet showing an alleged snapshot of Proxima Centauri was a form of amusement,” he said in another tweet. “Let us learn to be wary of arguments from authority as much as of the spontaneous eloquence of certain images.”

Episode 581 – They Actually Did It

All Senate Democrats show they hate Americans. Thank God no Republicans bought it. Let’s talk about it because we are all screwed and it seems kind of important.

 

Kamalaism

We talked about Nancy Pelosi and her trip to Taiwan last week. I said that, though I respected her for going, I was not sure what she was going for. It didn’t do anything accept make for a great photo shoot and piss off China.

When she got off the plane, she had this to say:

Listen, she talking about? Does she support Taiwan or feels connected to China?

Listen, she has always been hawkish with China and supportive of Taiwan. I don’t think she said this because she supports China. I think she said this because she’s old and her brains are mush. That’s why we shouldn’t have eighty -year-olds in important positions in government. By the way, I’m bipartisan about this. I don’t think Trump should run again because…well…he’s old.

 

Fuck You, America!

Well, the Democrats in the Senate flipped the American people the bird.

We talked about this last week, but we learned a little more about this over the weekend. It started with Chuck Schumer trying to breathe some life into Biden’s Build Back Better garbage but Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin were very much against it. So Chuckie decided to have a talk with Joe Manchin and they came up with a deal. Instead of the bill being $5 trillion, they dropped it to $800 billion.

Weird, that used to be a lot of money.

Anyway, one of the things Machin wanted was deficit reduction. So Schumer threw in a little tax increase that would look good on paper when it comes to lowering the deficit (more on that later). Though that was a big deal for Machin, we learned why he was holding out. Turns out he’s just another dirty politician. He made a deal with Schumer that would allow oil pipelines to remain open in West Virginia. That’s why he supported it. Of course, you can’t trust a politician. I think Manchin is going to find that he got duped because taxes are going to go up for everybody, this bill is going to raise inflation, the deficit is going to go up and people are not going to see any benefits but are going to get harassed by 86,000 more IRS agents (more on that later).

The only one left to convince was Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona. She said she had to read the 725 page bill before committing to it which scared the hell out of the Democrats. Out of nowhere, on Saturday, she said she would support the bill.

Now, the Republicans were going to filibuster this which would require 60 votes. Democrats decided to use Reconciliation. That’s weird because this is not a budget bill but a spending bill. In fact, today, the bill is not called the Inflation Reduction Act. It is now referred to as a climate bill. The CBO scores were hidden from the public by Democrats because it was so bad.

So, Reconciliation goes through. The CBO basically calls the bill crap, saying it won’t lower inflation. That starts a vote-a-rama. That’s where everyone adds their own amendment to the bill and each amendment is voted on. This was a chance for Republicans to put some poison pills in the bill. And they did try. Fourteen hours Saturday night and Sunday morning, they worked to add poison pills to this bill. Each amendment failed.

After this was done, they voted and not one Republican voted for it. It was a 50-50 tie. Kamala Harris gets to vote as Vice President and she approves the bill and we are fucked.

I think Senator Chris Murphy really hit the nail on the head. He’s a Democrat from Connecticut and he asked how this bill is going to be helpful:

Some things:

  • Yeah, he doesn’t know. Shouldn’t he know? He’s a Senator that voted for it.
  • The pharma thing is a small portion of this bill and will actually encourage rationing and put a halt to a lot of research and development.
  • We are not in a climate crisis. It’s hot because it’s summer.
  • We are in an inflation crisis and an energy shortage. Shouldn’t we worry about that now?

This is all part of the Great Reset. This is part of the great transition. We have to suffer and it’s going to get worse.

Good news, Democrats are going to suffer for it.

 

What’s in the Bill

Just a reminder, here’s is what is in the bill:

  • The initial measure, according to numbers released by Senate Democrats, would raise a total of $739 billion in revenue, and spend a total of $433 billion. It would reduce the budget deficit by roughly $300 billion over a decade.
  • The CBO has estimated that elements of the deal that would increase tax enforcement at the Internal Revenue Service would raise an additional $204 billion in revenue over 10 years, but those effects aren’t included in its projections of how the package would affect the deficit.
  • The package would spend roughly $369 billion on climate and energy programs, including tax credits for buying electric and hydrogen vehicles and making energy-efficient home improvements.
  • The deal would dedicate $64 billion to extending for three years the Affordable Care Act subsidies that first kicked in under the 2021 American Rescue Plan. Nearly all of the 13 million people who get federal subsidies under the ACA would be spared from higher health-insurance premiums they would see next year without an extension.
  • It would also cap out-of-pocket drug costs for Medicare beneficiaries at $2,000 a year, beginning in 2025, and starting next year mandate that certain vaccines be free for Medicare enrollees. And it would impose a $35-a-month cap on insulin purchased through Medicare.
  • The proposal would implement a 15% corporate minimum tax, aimed at large companies that report significant profits but pay little or nothing in income taxes, such as Amazon.com Inc.
  • Democrats are also proposing a 1% excise tax on stock buybacks.

Again, not one Republican voted for this because it’s just a spending bill. So you can imagine there was a lot of reaction.

  • Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said: “Democrats will pay the price in November for raising taxes on families during a recession,”
    • News for you, though people think we are not in a recession because politicians changed the definition of what a recession is, they do say we are close to one.
  • In a statement, Ted Cruz said: “The Schumer-Manchin bill will drive up inflation and prices, hammer small businesses and American manufacturing, increase the price of gas, and sic the IRS on Americans, all while raising taxes on Americans in nearly every tax bracket including those who make less than $400,000 a year.”
    • He’s right.
    • If you raise taxes on a business that has a certain profit margin, where are they going to recover that money to meet that profit margin?

Episode 580 – What Was the Point?

Nancy Pelosi’s trip to Taiwan is done and there are some questions.

Americans seem surprised that terrorists are pissed off that we killed their leader.

And Kansas does what the Supreme Court said they should do.

 

A Tough Press Conference

Karin Jean Pierre was going to have a really rough time with the killing of this terrorist and Nancy Pelosi visiting Taiwan. So the administration decided to send out John Kirby. Of course Peter Doocy is in the press and he asks real questions. Mr. Kirby didn’t like this much.

Here is Doocy ripping Kirby on the terrorist killed in Afghanistan. Basically he was criticizing Biden’s Afghanistan withdrawal.

Some things:

  • Afghanistan was not an independent country.
  • We did own Afghanistan.
  • The Taliban does support terrorists.
  • There are terrorists there and living well.
  • The case they proved by killing this terrorist is that there are terrorists in the country.

 

Why Did She Go?

So Nancy Pelosi is coming back from Taiwan after they made her a hero for showing up. The Biden administration, military and China were not thrilled about this. There really isn’t much to say about it. She met with the President and some other politicians but it really seemed to be nothing more than a photo shoot.

Here’s the questions I have, what was the point of going over there. Here’s the thing with foreign policy, and every policy, for that matter. It must have a purpose. Though I am glad we are showing some respect to Taiwan and I’m glad she went. In fact, I think Taiwan is the reason we should not be helping Ukraine. We should let the Europeans deal with Ukraine and they don’t seem to care much. Taiwan is more of a Democratic country than Ukraine, and far less corrupt. We should be supporting them.

Instead, Pelosi went over there, got her pictures and accomplished nothing except piss off China. I don’t mind the United States pissing off China, but it’s Taiwan that is going to have to deal with this. China is doing live-fire drills right off their coast.

So, good job, Nancy.

 

What Did They Think Would Happen

I don’t know what the big surprise here is.

According to the Daily Wire:

The U.S. State Department issued a “worldwide” caution alert for Americans Tuesday evening, warning that the likelihood that terrorists will strike U.S. interests has increased after the CIA killed Ayman Al Zawahiri, Osama bin Laden’s deputy and successor as leader of al-Qaeda.

“Following al-Zawahiri’s death, supporters of Al Qaeda, or its affiliated terrorist organizations, may seek to attack U.S. facilities, personnel, or citizens,” the alert said. “As terrorist attacks often occur without warning, U.S. citizens are strongly encouraged to maintain a high level of vigilance and practice good situational awareness when traveling abroad.”

The State Department said that it has reason to believe that the threat level to U.S. citizens is now “higher” after the drone strike terminated Al Zawahiri.

Well, duh.

Biden is getting a lot of crap for the killing of this terrorist. Don’t get me wrong, I’m thrilled he pulled the trigger on this one and the guy is dead. But he said the Taliban would never help al Qaeda because it would be against the deal they did with them. And where does the leader of al Qaeda stay? At the home of a Taliban diplomat (or whatever you call them).

Here’s a shocker, the Taliban lied. They are housing terrorists. I know, hard to believe. Now that we know this, what Biden going to do about it.

Probably nothing. Doing doing something else would show strength.

Calm Down

The battle against abortion has begun.

Kansas had a primary that included a proposition that would remove the pro-abortion amendment from the state constitution and give it back to the legislatures. It lost, big. It was down by 17 points. So, the law will stay in the state constitution.

The Left is claiming this as a huge victory and think that this is going to be a platform that Democrats should run on in November. Yeah, calm down. This is not as big a defeat as they’re making out to be.

First off, this doesn’t show that everyone wants abortion up till the kid is sixteen. It shows hat the status quo is acceptable to people in Kansas. We already knew that.

Second, the ballot was not exactly idiot proof. If you selected no on the ballot, it meant, yes, I want the amendment removed from the state constitution. If you said no, it meant yes, I want the amendment to remain in the constitution. California does this crap all the time. I’m not saying people from Kansas are idiots but it is confusing and I have had to deal with this in California elections. California tried to skirt past Prop 13 with language like this.

Finally, does this end that argument about our democracy ending because of the white supremacist Supreme Court’s decision? People voted and abortion wasn’t banned in the state of Kansas. This is exactly what the Supreme Court said should have happened. Of course, when Alabama and Oklahoma actually ban abortion everyone will flip out again.

Democrats think this proves this is going to be something to run on in November. Good luck with that.

There is Sanity Out There

There is sanity out there and it appears to be coming from the courts.

According to the Daily Wire:

In a ruling released on Friday, a judge struck down a San Francisco city ordinance allowing non-citizens to vote in school board elections.

The ordinance, which allowed non-citizen parents of school-aged children to vote in school board elections, was approved in 2016 and took effect in 2018, and was extended indefinitely in 2021. The law was challenged by various groups, including the California Public Policy Foundation and the United States Justice Foundation.

“The State of California has a long-standing requirement that voters must be United States citizens,” the plaintiffs argued. “This requirement applies to every election in the state, even those conducted by charter cities, because determining voter qualifications is a matter of statewide concern where state law supersedes conflicting charter city ordinances.”

The court agreed.

This is an important ruling. What is the point of being a citizen and paying taxes if anyone can vote? Though this is only for the school board, don’t forget about the Give a Mouse a Cookie principle, how long is it going to be before illegal aliens vote for city council, mayor or even governor?

Josie doesn’t have her citizenship yet. She’s beginning to wonder what advantage she has to getting it if anyone can vote in California. She’s right.

It’s Sad But She Probably is Their Best Shot

The Democrats are giving up on Joe Biden for 2024 and are scrambling to find someone to put on a pedestal. The Republicans have at least five different people who they are building up including Donald Trump and Ron DeSatis. That January 6th Commission thing is not working out. Kamala Harris is a disaster and there just isn’t that much excitement over Pete Buttigieg.

The Hill has an idea. Why not Alexandria Ocasio Cortez? She’ll be 35 by 2024. They have an article titled  “AOC is the Democrats’ best shot against Trump in 2024”.

According to the article from the Hill:

When Barack Obama came out of nowhere to win his Senate seat in 2004, it almost felt preordained. As if he was the person we had been waiting for to breathe fresh air into the Democratic Party. 

Flash forward to 2018, and the meteoric rise of a 29-year-old bartender from Queens feels eerily similar. She has been unafraid, unapologetic and unwilling to bend to the will of Washington. She is a force to be reckoned with, and in 2024 Democrats are going to need her force to reckon with Republicans. 

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) is less of a personality and more of a movement. Yes, the smart, photogenic congresswoman is the face of the rising progressive movement, but she is also the future of the Democratic Party. AOC has cultivated a following beyond politics. She’s an influencer in its purest form. Her ability to relate to her supporters and allow them a glimpse into her private life is a blueprint for Democrats trying to act less like mannequins and more like humans. 

Wow.

Some things about this:

  • She’s stupid.
  • She’s a terrible speaker.
  • She can’t debate.
  • She’s a pure socialist. I’m talking the tyrannical type of socialist.

Here’s the problem Democrats have. People don’t like socialism. They don’t want the country transformed. That’s why Bernie Sanders will never be President. And AOC is to the Left of him. Even moderate Democrats do not like what the Left is doing. That’s why Andrew Yang is creating a third party called the Forward party that will be made up of moderate Democrats and Republicans. That party is probably not going to go anywhere as most third parties don’t, but just the fact that parties are being created to counter the insanity of the Left shows how chaotic the Democratic party is.

They are in trouble and not just this November.

“Padawan,” the latest Star Wars novel, features a teenage Obi-Wan Kenobi in a discussion that has been celebrated by some readers as showing that the Jedi might be interested in kissing both men and women.

The quest to make everything gay continues even if it has to be a character in a fantasy story. Can’t wait to see what Disney is going to do with this.

Here’s the passage in question:

That’s done on purpose. It’s done to make the super hero more above humanity and give them the freedom to help humanity. There are philosophical articles about this.

A Big Hit

There has been so little that the Biden administration has done right. So little he has done for America. But, when he does something good, you have to give him props.

Here is Biden’s announcement.

President Biden announced Monday that the U.S. government killed the leader of al Qaeda, Ayman Al Zawahiri in a “successful” counterterrorism operation in Afghanistan that removes the terrorist from the battlefield “once and for all,” and degrades the terror network’s ability to operate.

The United States government, on July 30 at 9:48 p.m. ET, and 6:18 a.m. Kabul time, undertook a “precision counterterrorism operation,” killing Zawahiri, who served as Usama bin Laden’s deputy during the 9/11 attacks, and as his successor in 2011, following bin Laden’s death.

This was a bad dude. He was involved in every terrorist attack, including 9/11, for the last thirty years. He took over for bin Laden when he was killed in 2011 and has ordered that all al Qaeda to do anything to attack the United States.

Here are some things:

  • He was on the FBI’s most wanted list.
  • There was a $25 million reward for him.
  • He wasn’t hiding. He was in Kabul.
  • The drone hit him while he was standing on his balcony.
  • Nobody else was injured or killed according to reports (not sure I buy that).

This is going to send al Qaeda into a frenzy. They have basically lost all their leadership. They were hurting when they lost Bin Laden because of his financial support but they had leadership. Now, nothing. I would not be too surprised if there is a lot of chatter on the Internet. There will be a big push

There is a bit of a problem here. There is no way to verify it is him. I am going to trust the CIA until I hear differently. National security and terrorist experts are saying the celebration needs to be tempered until we have confirmation of his death.

They just can’t leave Trump alone and he hasn’t been President for a year and a half.

Prosecutors who are questioning witnesses before a grand jury — including two top aides to Vice President Mike Pence — have asked in recent days about conversations with Trump, his lawyers, and others in his inner circle who sought to substitute Trump allies for certified electors from some states Joe Biden won, according to two people familiar with the matter. Both spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss an ongoing investigation.

The prosecutors have asked hours of detailed questions about meetings Trump led in December 2020 and January 2021; his pressure campaign on Pence to overturn the election; and what instructions Trump gave his lawyers and advisers about fake electors and sending electors back to the states, the people said. Some of the questions focused directly on the extent of Trump’s involvement in the fake-elector effort led by his outside lawyers,including John Eastman and Rudy Giuliani, these people said.

In addition, Justice Department investigators in April received phone records of key officials and aides in the Trump administration, including his former chief of staff, Mark Meadows, according to two people familiar with the matter. That effort is another indicator of how expansive the Jan. 6 probe had become, well before the high-profile, televised House hearings in June and July on the subject.

I kind of feel bad for Merrick Garland. Well, I don’t. He’s dumb and an a-hole, but he is caught between a rock and a hard place. The Left wants charges for January 6th so that they can prevent him from running in 2024. The problem is he really doesn’t have any evidence that Trump did anything but behave badly. What’s worse, he needs to proven that Trump had intent and a plan. That’s just not a thing. Trump has never had a plan in his life and this “insurrection” happened with no one being armed.

Sounds like a riot to me.

It’s going to be really hard to take this to trial. Sure, they can get an indictment from a grand jury but any lawyer will tell you that you can indict a ham sandwich. How do I know nothing is going to come of this? They have been looking into this for two years and nothing has happened. The January 6th commission, which is partisan, has come up with nothing new.

This whole thing is going nowhere and is just looks like a partisan witch hunt.

Biden just does stupid crap and this has to be one of his dumber moves if it’s true.

According to the Daily Wire:

Democrat President Joe Biden has reportedly offered to exchange notorious Russian weapons trafficker Viktor Bout in exchange for the release of WBNA player Brittney Griner and Paul Whelan.

CNN reported that several sources inside the administration said that the proposal received Biden’s “backing” after he was briefed on the matter.

“We communicated a substantial offer that we believe could be successful based on a history of conversations with the Russians,” a senior administration official told CNN. “We communicated that a number of weeks ago, in June.”

I have no problem with getting Paul Whelan. He was a Marine that was accused of spying by Russia in 2018 and was sentenced to 16 years in prison. But Brittany Griner is another story. She hates America, refused to stand for the National Anthem before games and wanted the WNBA eliminate the singing of the National Anthem all together. Now she wants the United States to bail her out.

Now, a little bit about Viktor Bout:

Does this sound like a guy you want to give back to Russia (who really want him) for an anti-American basketball player? She hates the United States. LeBron James said she shouldn’t even want to come back. She we trade a guy who wants to harm the United States for a gal who hates the United States.

Really? Spam?

I was trying to buy socks at Walmart the other day. I gave up because all of the socks were behind glass and I knew it would take twenty minutes to get someone over to open the case. I knew this because I had to get them to open a case for razors. All this because of the crime problem. People are stealing crap, getting arrested, getting released and stealing again.

Well, New York is far worse than San Diego.

They’re Trying to Change Us

Over the last couple of years, there has been a push by the media to change our diet. We should stop eating beef, chicken and fish because of the environment. You know, cows fart and that puts CO2 into the air. Of course, they never tell us what they are going to do with all the cows if we decide to stop eating them, but whatever.

So, anyway, we should get our protein from other sources like nut and bugs. On media outlet that has really been pushing this is CNN. Remember, last year, when the cicadas were out, CNN anchors tested eating cicadas and were pushing it as a new type of food we should be eating.

Well, CNN has come up with a new source of protein. According to CNN:

A little cockroach milk with those cookies? Chock full of protein, the insect milk may someday be transformed into a food supplement worthy of human consumption, new research indicates.

Scientists have found that the Pacific Beetle Cockroach feeds its bug babies a formula which is remarkably rich in protein, fat and sugar.

Don’t expect to find it next to the regular milk in the dairy section, however, at least not for now.

“Any liquid harvested from a cockroach is not true milk. At least not as we think of it,” said Becky Facer, director of school and educator programs at Fernbank Museum of Natural History in Atlanta.

Most people would agree. After all, the insect liquid takes the form of protein crystals in the guts of baby cockroaches.

“The protein crystals are milk for the cockroach infant. It is important for its growth and development,” said Leonard Chavas, one of the scientists behind the research. He explained the crystals have a whopping three times the energy of an equivalent mass of buffalo milk, about four times the equivalent of cow’s milk.

Yeah, that’s an actual article. These people really want us to stop eating animals.

I have no problem with eating alternative sources of protein, but really?

Episode 577 – Monkey Pox!

No one seems to take monkey pox seriously even though it has been declared an emergency in two big cities.

A Nobel Prize winning economist doesn’t seem to know much about economics.

  • I’m glad Joe Biden got all those shots for the China virus. He’s positive again. That’s probably for the best.
  • Nancy Pelosi was supposed to go to Taiwan but it looks like she might skip it because China is saber-rattling. The White House doesn’t support her because, I guess, we are afraid of Taiwan. If she doesn’t go to Taiwan, it will show weakness and embolden China to invade Taiwan.
  • There was a bill that would give healthcare for veterans.
    • Not one Republican voted for it.
    • There are some provisions for veteran healthcare.
    • Republicans do not want to sign on to this bill for a reason.
    • It takes $400 billion of discretionary spending and makes in mandatory and that money will go to things that have nothing to do with veterans.
    • This would increase government spending and raise inflation.
    • Again, Democrats create a spending bill and give it a nice name and dare Republicans not to sign off on it.
    • Republicans did not take the bait. Even Mitt Romney said, “no”.
  •  Speaking of big spending bills, Hoe Manchin is running around propping up this Inflation Reduction Act that spends half the money on Green New Deal crap is bipartisan and going to lower inflation.
    • It is a tax and spend bill.
    • This is going to increase inflation and stagnate the economy.
    • Not one Republican is for it.
    • Democrats are trying to push this through by using reconciliation.
    • Democrats are still nervous because Kyrsten Sinema won’t commit to the bill until she studies it.

 

The New Normal

We are going to be living in a world where we are going to have a pandemic every two years or so. That is because the elitists feel that is going to be the best way to control us serfs.

The new pandemic is going to be monkey pox. The problem everyone is going to have is monkey pox is not as much of a mystery as the China virus was. We already know it is spread through gay sex. I mean, we really are sure about that. over 90% of people who have it got it from gay sex and 97% of people who have it are men.

We also know that it doesn’t kill anyone. There have been only 5 deaths throughout the world and the small pox vaccine works with it.

But that’s not going to stop our elites from making this into a panic situation. New York and San Francisco have declared this a public emergency. They want you to forget the fact that no one has died of it in those places and that it is only affecting a quarter of a percent of the population in those cities. They don’t want to talk about that it is affecting a certain segment of the population (gay men). I’m sure when they figure out that people are not afraid of this disease, they will point out that it disapproiantly affects the LGBTQ+_)*&^ community and we should all be concerned.

Even the WHO says we are in a world emergency but they won’t quite go so far as to say not to have butt-sex with 20 other men for the next few months. They give us recommendations. Masterbate a lot, have sex with cloths on, stuff like that. But they never said not to have butt-sex.

San Francisco got the memo but they don’t care. According to the Daily Wire:

San Francisco will hold an annual sexual festival popular among gay men this weekend even though the city declared a local health emergency over the Monkeypox outbreak earlier this week.

The “Up Your Alley” leather fetish festival, commonly called “Dore Alley,” scheduled for Sunday, is expected to bring thousands of people to the city’s SoMa area, featuring kink demonstrations, dancing, and shopping, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. The annual event has been running since 1985, being canceled only once since then due to the COVID pandemic in 2020.

Some people who have attended the event in the past are having second thoughts this year due to the Monkeypox outbreak in San Francisco. The most recent data shows 257 confirmed cases in the city, and city leaders recently announced a public health emergency that will go into effect on August 1.

“The same population that’s being most affected by the disease is the same population that attends these events, most exclusively,” 29-year-old San Francisco resident David Harris said. “I just don’t even want to be here this weekend.”

Harris, who identifies as bisexual, told the Chronicle that he is frustrated with the group organizing the event, Folsom Street, for their apparent lack of concern around the disease. “I’ve been scanning their posts. They have yet to say a single word even mentioning the word ‘monkeypox.’ … It just feels utterly irresponsible,” Harris said.

Here’s the thing, they are going to have this event and it will be a super spreader. There’ll be monkey pox all over San Francisco. With that, the state and federal government will be all up and arms about this and need to “do something” which is their mantra on everything. That means we’ll have to change voting laws, raise taxes, raise debt, start wearing masks (though I’m not sure there is a mask for one’s butt), lock down, things like that.

No one has ever thought to call things for what they are. Hey fellas, stop having gay orgies for a few months. It would be better if they stopped having gay orgies in general, but we can’t say that. It’s bigoted.

Speaking of Monkey Pox and Bigots

Last week, the New York City Board of Health made a request of the World Health Organization. According to NDTV.com:

New York City asked the World Health Organization (WHO) on Tuesday to rename the monkeypox virus to avoid stigmatizing patients who might then hold off on seeking care.

New York has seen more cases of the disease, which the WHO declared a global health emergency over the weekend, than any other city in the United States, with 1,092 infections detected so far.

“We have a growing concern for the potentially devastating and stigmatizing effects that the messaging around the ‘monkeypox’ virus can have on… already vulnerable communities,” New York City public health commissioner Ashwin Vasan said in a letter to WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus dated Tuesday.

This idiot and, I will say it, racist, Vasan continued:

“Continuing to use the term ‘monkeypox’ to describe the current outbreak may reignite these traumatic feelings of racism and stigma — particularly for Black people and other people of color, as well as members of the LGBTQIA+ communities, and it is possible that they may avoid engaging in vital health care services because of it.”

Let’s get to the crux of this, black people get it just the way white people get it.

But, to this guy, calling anything with the word monkey in it means we are referring to black people means he’s a racist. When I heard about monkey pox, I thought someone was screwing, you know, monkeys, not black people. It sound to me that Mr. Vasan has a bit of a problem with racism because when he thinks about moneys, he thinks about black people.

Next, there should be some worry about people in the LGBTRISTUV community because they are the ones who catching it. That’s because they are the ones that are spreading it.

This is a problem the Left has. They are so worried about equity, words, stigmas and victims, they never solve the real problem, even when they know what the problem is and what causes it. Their own ideology boxes them in.

Well, the WHO, which is a Leftist organization under the United Nations, agreed. The WHO’s director general, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, said in a press briefing:

“WHO is working with partners and experts from around the world on changing the name of monkeypox virus, its clades, and the disease it causes.”

“We will make announcements about the new names as soon as possible.” 

Monkey pox solved, I guess. All we have to do is change the language.

Not Going to Work

Speaking of changing the language, the Biden administration is doing that to grift his way out of the recession we are in. I told you that last week, but now social media and the legacy media are getting into the fray.

Wikipedia had over forty edits to the term, “recession” this weekend. I did look it up and basically they danced around the, “two quarters of negative GDP growth” thing which is the actual definition of “recession” but that was there. They had a lot of other crap that people are trying to associate with a recession which actually have nothing to do with a recession. Basically what they are doing is clouding the meaning of the word so no one really knows what it means. You know, like what they are doing with the word, “woman”.

Poor Wikipedia, they are so confused and lost. They actually changed the definition of the word, “definition” this weekend. I guess last week’s definition of “definition” needed to be redefined so that “definition” had the definition that the woke like to define. See what I did? A Kamalaism. I would keep going with it but I am out of breath.

But it is also the media that is all in on this new White House narrative.

According to the Daily Wire:

A Baltimore family just filed a $25 million lawsuit against Sesame Place, a theme park in Pennsylvania, claiming their daughters were the targets of racial discrimination after being ignored by characters in costume.

The filing comes not long after a video of a Sesame Place employee dressed as Rosita seemingly ignoring two black girls during a parade went viral online, sparking nationwide outrage and accusations of racism. Social media was flooded with examples of similar incidents that allegedly took place at the amusement park, which only helped fuel the fury.

Per Daily Mail, the suit seeks class action status as 25-30 families have come forward with similar claims. It was filed in a federal court in Philadelphia against SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, the owner of Sesame Place, alleging “pervasive and appalling race discrimination.”

The lawsuit claims that four amusement park employees dressed as Sesame Street characters intentionally ignored Quinton Burns, his daughter Kennedi Burns, and other black guests during a meet-and-greet event on June 18. The family insists the employees’ behavior was an example of racism.

Everything is racism.

I saw the video. I’m not getting what the big deal is.

It shows a character walking down the street waving at the crowd. The character, who can’t see through that mask, says no to a couple of people who wanted it to hold their babies and just walk by the girls. It basically looks like every amusement park parade ever conducted.

Malcom Ruff, he lawyer said, in a statement, in front of cameras, of course:

“[Kennedi] was ignored amongst a sea of other young white children who were able to interact, give hugs, high fives. Kennedi was forced to experience racism at the age of 5. This is unacceptable and we will not stand by and let this continue.”

Episode 576 – It’s Finally Official!

 

 

 

It’s About the Economy Stupid

It’s been a rough couple of days for the economy. First, let’s talk about the issues concerning the controlling of inflation.

 

The Fed Raises the Interest Rate

According to the Daily Wire:

The Federal Reserve announced on Wednesday that it raised interest rates by 75 basis points for the second straight month in an effort to help slow inflation.

“The Committee seeks to achieve maximum employment and inflation at the rate of 2 percent over the longer run,” the Fed said in a press release. “In support of these goals, the Committee decided to raise the target range for the federal funds rate to 2-1/4 to 2-1/2 percent and anticipates that ongoing increases in the target range will be appropriate.”

The Fed also noted that “recent indicators of spending and production have softened” but added, “job gains have been robust in recent months, and the unemployment rate has remained low.”

Let’s be clear about a few things.

  • The Fed is under control of the Biden administration. Why we are trusting the Biden administration to control anything is beyond me.
  • The Fed (Janet Yellen is running it) has been wrong about everything. Remember, inflation was transitory.
  • The administration keeps talking about the employment rate. We won’t know what is going to happen to the employment rate for another couple of months.
    • Employment problems happen after a recession starts. It is not the cause of the recession or an indicator of one.
    • Once companies see they are losing profits, they will stop producing and innovating, and then people will be laid off.
    • Notice, no one is talking about the increased wages? That’s because they have gone down by 5% because of inflation.
  • Raising the interest rates makes loans more expensive because the government is trying to take money out of the economy. Loans businesses needs to innovate and hire people.
    • We are already seeing the effects of high interest rate. People aren’t buying houses or cars.
    • Houses have fallen in price as bad as they did in 2008.
    • The auto industry is taking a hit but from two directions:
      • High interest rates for loans.
      • The supply chain crisis not getting enough chips for the car’s computers. Something else the Biden administration hasn’t dealt with.
  •  The interest rates probably aren’t going to be high enough.
    • A good inflation (demand) is 1.5-2%. A good GDP (supply) is between 2.5-3.5%.
    • There’s a balance. But production can always keep up and go beyond expectations of demand (innovation).
    • When demand is high, but supply is low, we need something to slow the demand. Make it harder for people to buy things (raise the interest rate).
    • Demand slows but businesses need loans too. For employees, for supplies, for innovation.
    • No one is buying anything. No on is innovating anything. We have the worst scenario, stagflation.
    • To cool inflation, it has been predicted we are need to go up to 5-6%. Right now, it is at about 2.25%.

That’s where we are right now. I may not have explained this well, but don’t take my word for this because I didn’t make this up.

How do we fix this?

  • Interest rates will have to be high until supply and demand balance.
  • Lower taxes.
  • Lower corporate taxes.
  • Cut regulations on all businesses.
  • Allow drilling for oil and natural gas.
  • Re-enable nuclear power.
  • Bring back manufacturing.

 

 

We Are in a Recession

Here is a minute and a half of the Biden administration wavering on us entering a recession:

The GDP report is out and it was disappointing. There was a rather tepid expectation that GDP would rise to .5%, instead it dropped by.9%. That is the second quarter in a row of negative GDP (third if you add 0% GDP growth in the fourth quarter last year).

We are in a recession.

Biden said it was not surprising and the administration and media still maintain we really aren’t in a recession because the economy “is so complicated”. Like everything else, instead of dealing with the problem, they just change language and definitions.

I’m watching CNN and they are still saying we are not in a recession and are praising Biden for his big win in his Build Back Better program which they renamed and we’ll talk about in a second. They are even saying Biden is having a good week.

People aren’t going to believe this crap. Even the 18 people that watch CNN. CNN said all this right after they put a screen shot of people paying about $500 a month more because of inflation and high gas prices. People are simple. They only know what is happening to them. They don’t care about what people are telling them is happening.

We are in a recession. Everyone knows it and has known about it for the last six months because we have been feeling it. Nothing they can say is going to change that.

But It Might Get Worse

According to the summary of the bill (the full bill is 725 pages) says:

The Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 will make a historic down payment on deficit reduction to
fight inflation, invest in domestic energy production and manufacturing, and reduce carbon
emissions by roughly 40 percent by 2030. The bill will also finally allow Medicare to negotiate
for prescription drug prices and extend the expanded Affordable Care Act program for three
years, through 2025.

The new proposal for the FY2022 Budget Reconciliation bill will invest approximately $300
billion in Deficit Reduction and $369 billion in Energy Security and Climate Change programs
over the next ten years.

Additionally, the agreement calls for comprehensive Permitting reform legislation to be passed
before the end of the fiscal year. Permitting reform is essential to unlocking domestic energy and
transmission projects, which will lower costs for consumers and help us meet our long-term
emissions goals.

Here’s some info on it:

  • $369 billion will go for climate.
    • Extend over $7500 in subsidies for electric cars.
    • $60 billion for domestic clean energy manufacturing.
    • $30 billion for wind, solar battery storage tax credit.
  • Raise the corporate tax by 15%.
    • This will raise $739 billion.
    • That’s where they get that $300 billion deficit reduction.
    • But hold on.
  • The bill also adds another $451 billion to extend Obamacare for another three years. So much for deficit reduction.
  • The bill is 725 pages long so one can imagine there is more pork in there.

Per the Democratic playbook, they changed the name of this modified Build Back Better bill and are calling it the Inflation Reduction Act. Spending money and raising taxes on corporations is not going to lower inflation. It’s going to:

  • Raise inflation.
  • Stagnate hiring.
  • Stagnate innovation.
  • Cause layoffs.

We know this. The America Rescue Plan and the Infrastructure bill caused inflation. This bill is the same thing.

Here’s the thing, this bill isn’t passed yet. It will get no support from Republicans. It needs to be voted in the House. Kyrsten Sinema still does not commit to it until she reads the bill, and I think she is also really shy about spending a ton of money. Especially living in a state that is as red as Arizona. In fact, I’m shocked Machin did this.

Bye Bye Bears

According to the daily Wire:

On Monday, Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot proposed a $900 million to $2.2 billion Hail Mary offer to convince the Bears to stay in their home stadium of over 50 years.

However, the Chicago Bears stated in a press release earlier this month that they wouldn’t consider any other offers, even for their home stadium, Soldier Field. The NFL team reaffirmed that sentiment to ESPN this week, noting that they were set on moving to another location over 30 miles away.

The Bears plan to move to Arlington Park, the longtime site of Churchill Downs’ thoroughbred racing in Arlington Heights. That area experiences well below the national median of crime levels, according to multiple crime statistic analyses. Census data reports that the area has a median household income of over $100,200, and just over four percent of residents were in poverty.

In other words, the Bears are moving because of crime, homelessness and poverty. I have been to Soldiers Field. It is not in the best of neighborhoods. Neither is Comisky Park. I wonder how long it will take before the White Sox move.

Lightfoot even made a website showing the renovations she wants to do to the existing stadium, trying to convince the Bears to stay at the stadium. It’s not working. Maybe she should take that $2.2 billion and give it to the police force to clean up the crime in Chicago. Maybe then, everyone will be happy, not just the Bears. After all, it is tax payer money she wants to give the Bears.

Great Idea

According to the Post Millennial:

Everyone in Kalamazoo, Michigan can now go to the bathroom anywhere they like as city officials decriminalized the discharge of most bodily materials expelled in public spaces.

City of Kalamazoo City Commissioner Chris Praedel said the change was for the sake of equity and explained the city wants to be “fair and equitable to who these laws were most affecting, the unhoused population, as well as provide a better solution for those trying to get on their feet.”

I hate this equity thing. These people are always worried about the people who are making the lives of working people miserable. They don’t seem to care about the quality of life of the working citizens. But here’s the thing, the working people in places like San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle and Portland voted these idiots in. So, I’m not feeling too sorry for people that have to go through this crap.

Apparently, the city did put in a public restroom for the homeless to use by a mall. But people are complaining that the restroom is always locked so no one can use it. Then the homeless just crap on the sidewalk. Sounds like something a city bureaucrat would think up and then screw it up.

But, more importantly, do these government officials ever ask someone in another city that does how how it’s going? Seriously, this is done in California, Washington state, New York, Oregon, Maryland  and Illinois. Just ask, “Hey, how’s it going over there?” Pretty sure the word “sucks” might be thrown around.

At least we know what state the Chicago Bears are not going to move to.

Twitter is at It Again

Last week, some guy decided to pick a fight with an LGBTQ person. Of course, she was talking about grooming kids into becoming trans and crap like that. So the guy called her a groomer. Well, this broad was from the far Leftist group called Media Matters and she reported him.

Media Matter is a group that goes through Conservative publications and then reports them as racists, bigots, homophobes or whatever. Basically, they are professional trolls. No one would give them much respect but they do get it. They have been known to pressure businesses to stop advertising on certain Conservative platforms and they are consulted by some platforms like Twitter and Facebook.

Anyway, this guy got suspended and had to take down the tweet. Twitter nailed him for “hateful conduct”. Mind you, someone threatened to blow up the house of the gal who runs Libs of TikTok (who has also been suspended for “hateful conduct”) and nothing happened to that guy.

The broad tweeted this after he was suspended:

“Accusing people of harming children with no basis is extremely dangerous. Three weeks again, Lindsay directed his little groomer bit at a library holding a drag queen story hour. Proud boys showed up three days later with signs about groomers and a rifle.”

A few things about this:

  • I know the story she’s talking about.
  • It did happen, but not the way she’s talking about.
  • The harassed the drag queen and the library as they should because this is creepy.
  • They were not armed.
  • They were never arrested.
  • Basically, this gal is full of crap.

Here’s the thing about the groomer thing. It is an offshoot of the term “boomer”. Remember, someone from the Baby boomer generation would say something woke and someone would say, “whatever, boomer”? Yeah, same thing here. Most people who use the term “groomer” typically do not mean they are grooming the kids for sex or to molest them. It is just a term used to annoy the pervert that is messing with our kids.

Now, in my case, when I use the term groomer, I mean it by the true sense of the word. If I call you that, I think you are a pervert and a pedophile.

I have used the term several times and have not been suspended so this might be just a reaction to an online fight. We’ll see, but I am sure this is going to be a thing soon.

Never Wondered About This Before But…

Astronauts have been warned against masturbating in space over fears female astronauts could get impregnated by stray fluids.

There are strict guidelines over “alone-time” onboard in zero gravity. Scientists have warned even the slightest rouge droplet could cause chaos on board.

Now, far be it for me to argue with psychists or anything but what the f-?

Conan O’Brien waded into the uncomfortable topic while interviewing a NASA engineer, asking him if he had ever sent porn to the International Space Station.

“No, none of that,” the scientist, Smythe, said.

“Does porn work in zero gravity? It goes everywhere,” Conan probed.

“Three female astronauts can be impregnated by the same man on the same session … it finds its way,” the scientist continued.

OK, so there you have. Don’t say I’ve never taught you anything.
