Episode 397 – She’s Just Terrible

The Senate hates Americans and wants to take all your money.

That brings up some troubling news about the economy in general.

And why is Lori Lightfoot the mayor of Chicago?

 

Money, Money, Money…Mon-nee!

Joe Biden is trying to ram through the most spending that the government has ever spent before. Both bills, the infrastructure and budget, have made their ways through the Senate. They still have a bit to go and both bills have a bunch of obstacles to go through but the fact that they are where they are is sort of disturbing.

Infrastructure

The bipartisan infrastructure bill has passed the Senate. The initial infrastructure bill would have been $3.5 trillion but it would have never passed. So Biden worked with Senate Republicans to whittle the bill down to $1 trillion dollars. The reality is the bill will probably cost about $2 trillion.

The bill will cover things like:

  • Roads and bridges.
  • Passenger rail.
  • Internet access.
  • Public transit.
  • Subsidies for electric cars.
  • Water and waste water.
  • Upgrading the electric grid.

The bill will be paid for by unused COVID funds and the extra money from states that cancelled the enhanced unemployment benefits early. Don’t kid yourself, it will also be from taxes too.

Seventeen Republicans voted for the bill including Mitch McDonnell, Chuck Grassley and Linsey Graham. I’m going to explain why I think this is a big mistake in a few minutes.

The bill will have problems when the House votes for it. The radical Leftists in the House, including the Squad, said they wouldn’t vote for the bill if it wasn’t guaranteed that the $3.5 trillion would pass. It is very unlikely that that bill is going to pass. There is a very good chance a bunch of Democrats are not going to vote for this bill.

Remember how there is so much unity within the Democrat party? Yeah, no. If this bill gets whacked by a bunch of Leftists in the House this will show us how the Democrats are anything but unified.

I like infrastructure and this bill might be OK…like 10 years from now. This is not the time for it and, what does need to be done, could be done for quarter of the amount of this bill. Our infrastructure just isn’t that bad.

I also hate the fact that Internet access is included here. I know they already are but I hate the thought that the government is involved in my Internet access. Not to mention, the Internet is not a right. It is a luxury. You don’t pay for Internet access, go to the library. Tons of Internet there. Go to Starbucks and buy that Boba tea thing you people like and use the Internet. Sure, you can’t watch porn but you can do what you need to do.

Finally, listen, I love trains. I ride the train in San Diego. I take the train up to L.A. all the time. I hate traffic. I can sleep. I can read. I don’t pay for gas. But I love the train, mostly, because there is no one ever on it! Trains are not used. This is 1850s technology. There’s no reason to spend any money on it.

Republicans screwed up by voting for this bill. Our infrastructure is not that bad, it covers things that are not infrastructure, It could be the same thing for probably $300 billion and, looking at this from the Conservative lens, the government needs to leave the economy alone as it grows so that inflation does get crazy when the economy gets heated.

 

Budget Bill

Today, the Senate passed a blueprint for the $3.5 trillion budget wanted by the Biden administration. This time, no Republicans voted for this bill. This bill is known as the antipoverty and climate bill. That should tell you everything you need to know about it.

What’s in this bill?

  • Paid medical and family leave.
  • An expansion of Obamacare.
  • Expanded child tax credit (UBI).
  • Free pre-kindergarten and community college.
  • Provides green cards to illegal immigrants.
  • Tax credits for clean energy.
  • Emissions-based tariffs.

That’s just a few things that are in the bill. How are they going to pay for it? Taxes.

  • Raise taxes on households making $400K and above.
  • Raising the corporate tax rate from 21% to 28%.
  • Raise the corporate foreign earning from 24% to 43%.
  • Raise the capital gains tax.
  • Raise the death tax.
  • Tax crypto currency.
  • Tax unrealized assets (not sure this is even Constitutional).

This bill will not pass through the Senate (most likely). Moderate Democrats, like Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin, are against this bill. That means even if Dems use reconciliation, there’s still a good chance this bill won’t pass the Senate. This bill will get filibustered if Reconciliation is not used which will require 60 votes in the Senate which will definitely kill the bill.

Again, no Republicans or moderate Democrats will vote for this bill. They shouldn’t. We can’t pay for it, it’ll raise inflation again because money will need to be printed and it has more fat than a pregnant sow.

Again, the government should just stay out of the economy and let it grow naturally. All they can do is screw it up.

Speaking of That

Inflation went up 5.4% in July. That’s down from 5.9% in June. This is basically due to the delta variant of the China virus. The economy is cooling a bit. This won’t last though since the delta variant seems to be peaking right now and infections should start to go down next month.

All I know, my gas prices have gone up .10 cents this week and steak is still $100 for a pack of four.

Speaking of That Again

Speaking of gas prices, they are going to go up again.

The White House is asking the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) to increase their production of oil. According to the Wall Street Journal:

National security adviser Jake Sullivan said in a statement that recent planned production increases by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries would “not fully offset previous production cuts” made by OPEC and its oil-producing allies during the pandemic.

“At a critical moment in the global recovery, this is simply not enough,” Mr. Sullivan said. 

Yeah. OPEC is wondering why there is such a need for more oil from a President that demonizes oil. A Saudi oil official said:

“Isn’t [Biden] about climate change and the impact of oil on the environment? How come now they are asking for more?”

Great question. OPEC said they would not raise production because of the delta variant. They’re afraid the will produce too much, lowering prices and production then there will be a shortage when the economies through the world start demanding oil, leading to spiking prices. OPEC wants to keep prices and inventories stable.

Republicans are asking some great question too. They are asking why Biden destroyed the oil industry in this country. He killed the Keystone Pipeline and cancelled oil contracts on federal lands. Don’t forget, under the Trump administration, not only was the United States energy independent, we were exporting oil.

So good job Joe. Can’t wait to be paying $5 a gallon at the pump by the end of the year.

Tough Time in Chi-Town

Wasn’t a great weekend in Chicago.

There were 73 shootings and 11 people killed including 3 year police veteran Ella French. Her partner was critically wounded and remains in the hospital. French was 29 years old and has a two month old baby at home. The two police officer were shot performing a routine traffic stop.

Two men were arrested. Both had long and violent criminal records.

The horrid mayor of Chicago said on Twitter:

“Today is an official day of mourning for the city. We lost a young officer. I offer my condolences to her mother, brother, family, and friends. Please keep this officer, the officer in the hospital, and CPD in your prayers.”

“Some say we don’t do enough for the police. Others say we do too much. All of this must stop. We have a common enemy: it’s guns & the violence they bring. Two young people did what we asked of them: service over self. And one paid with her life.”

Couple of things here:

  • Chicago has some of the most stringent gun restriction in the country.
  • It’s tough for non-felons to get guns in Chicago much less an open carry permit.
  • These guys were felons. They were breaking the law for having guns.
  • She doesn’t blame the criminals or her stupid policies. She blames guns. Inanimate objects. Is she going to throw the gun in prison?

Later, she spoke on a local news station and said:

“There are some who say that we do not do enough for the police and that we are handcuffing them for doing their jobs. There are others who say we do too much for the police and that we never hold them accountable for what they do particularly in Black and Brown neighborhoods. But to all of this, I say, ‘stop, just stop.’ This constant strife is not what we need in this moment.

“Of course we need to continue the journey to achieve constitutional and accountable policing. That cannot be a debate at this point. But let me also reiterate what I’ve said before and what I know to be true. The police are not our enemies. They’re human, just as we are. Flawed, just as we are. But also risking their lives every day for our safety and security.”

This is a crappy statement because she’s equating the police with crime and racism. She’s also stating that those who believe the police are bad have a great argument. That’s just not the case. Statistic, polls and common sense show that.

Well, the Chicago Police Department didn’t appreciate it. When she went to the hospital to see the officer who was there, ten police officers turned their backs on her has she walked through the lobby.

The police have no confidence in her and neither should any Chicago native. She also refuses to acknowledge that her policies and years of demonizing the police are putting police officers in danger.

The broad needs to find a job at Costco and get out of the government.

Unfortunately this is becoming a very common issue with our children. And this gal is a child. Listen:

Here’s the thing:

  • This gal is no world traveler if she thinks other countries are awesome. I have a bunch of other countries and have yet to see one that is better than this one.
  • She should give examples of countries she’s been to.
  • I doubt she’s ever been to :
    • China.
    • Venezuela.
    • Cuba.
    • Russia.
    • North Korea
  • I doubt this gal was ever even in Mexico. There is no way Mexico is better than the United States.
  • Heck Australia and New Zealand are crappy countries compared to the United States.
  • This gal is probably for open borders. Why wouldn’t she want to borders closed as not subject the culture of the United States to all those illegally crossing.
  • Mind you she’s doing this Tik Tok video using a $1000 piece of technology created in the United States.
  • I wish the kids, when they turn 18, would move to some of these countries that they think are so great. Bet none of them move Somalia or China.

Episode 395 – Little Things Can Be Life Lessons

Things are imploding in the Middle East…again. This time, it might not be the Jews’ fault.

AOC sounds like she wants to shake up the Democratic party again.

Things are Imploding in the Middle East…Again

What a mess the Middle East is becoming. That’s a good thing for the Left because they can now blames the Jews again. Yeah, none of this is their fault but…you know.

 

At It Again

On Friday, the terrorist group Hezbollah fired rockets into Israel. FYI, Hezbollah is the terrorist group from Lebanon. Not to be confused with the Islamic Jihad, or the Palestinian Authority (which is in the West Bank and Gaza Strip), or Hamas.

The Jerusalem Post reported:

“A heavy barrage of close to 20 rockets were fired from Lebanon into northern Israel on Friday, activating the Iron Dome and setting off sirens throughout the area.”

The Israel National News reported:

“Air raid sirens sounded at 10:55a.m. Friday morning in Neve Ativ, Ein Qiniyye, and Kibbutz Snir in northern Israel. Local residents reported hearing explosions in the area. According to reports, the Iron Dome missile defense system intercepted several of the ten rockets, which were fired at northern Israel from the Shebaa Farms in Lebanon.”

The Iron Dome that has been protecting Israel from these terrorists sects took down most of the missiles. Those that were not taken out landed harmlessly into open areas. No one hurt or killed and there was no damage done. This comes after three missiles were sent into Israel by Hezbollah last Wednesday.

The Washington Post reported:

“In a statement sent via WhatsApp, a media coordinator for Hezbollah said: ‘At 11:15 am on Friday, and in response to the Israeli air raids on open ground [in southern Lebanon] early Thursday, [two groups] in the Islamic resistance bombarded open land in the perimeter of the Israeli occupation’s positions in Shebaa Farms with tens of 122 mlm grade rockets.’”

I have not read anything about Israel sending missiles into Lebanon. But I have an idea why the government there would want to cause some chaos. It’s much the same reason the Palestinian Authority and Hamas did it a couple of months ago.

 

Lebanon’s Got Some Issues

The economy of Lebanon is collapsing in a way that is rarely seen.

  • The massive explosion from last year in Beirut (killing 241 people) caused huge shortages in energy.
  • Hyperinflation is gripping the economy.
  • The World Bank says this government could be facing the worst depression since the 19th century.

The World Bank stated:

Lebanon’s GDP plummeted from close to US$ 55 billion in 2018 to an estimated US$ 33 billion in 2020, with US$ GDP/ capita falling by around 40 percent. Such a brutal and rapid contraction is usually associated with conflicts or wars.

This illustrates the magnitude of the economic depression that the country is enduring, with sadly no clear turning point on the horizon, given the disastrous deliberate policy inaction.

The social impact of the crisis, which is already dire, could rapidly become catastrophic; more than half the population is likely below the national poverty line. Lebanon, with a history of civil war and conflicts, faces realistic threats to its already fragile social peace.

The Wall Street Journal also reported:

Power outages have become so frequent that restaurants time their hours to the schedule of electricity from private generators. Brawls have erupted in supermarkets as shoppers rush to buy bread, sugar, and cooking oil before they run out or hyperinflation topping 400% for food puts the prices out of reach. Medical professionals have fled just as the pandemic hammers the country with a new wave of infections. Thefts are up 62% and murder rates are rising fast.

To give you an example of how bad this is, the United States is bitching about inflation. Our inflation is up 5.8%. This also shows you what garbage these totalitarian, terrorist governments. You know, the same type of governments that the Left is constantly telling is we should implement here.

And, yes, they are sympathetic to Hezbollah.

This is why Lebanon is attacking Israel. They need a diversion. Their government is falling apart. And watch, this will escalate as the depression gets worse and then they will blame Israel for striking them back and will be asking for money from the United States.

 

It’s No Party There Either

When the United States pulled out of Afghanistan, I said I didn’t care much because Afghanistan was pretty much a mess and it was always going to be a mess. I also mentioned that we really didn’t have a huge presence in Afghanistan (we haven’t lost a soldier there in a very long time) and we were able to control the Taliban and remain entrenched in the Middle East, so I understand why people wanted that presence to remain.

Joe Biden just decided to pull everyone out of the country. Of course, Right-leaning news organization said this was a bad idea because the government was weak, the military was not effective and the Taliban would start to take control of the country. They also said that this is a danger to the homeland because the Taliban has been known to train terrorists.

Well, those Right-leaning organizations might be right.

The Taliban seized control of the key northern city of Kunduz on Sunday, as well as Sar-e-Pul and Taloqan.

Oops.

That means five regional capitals have fallen to the Taliban since Friday, with Kunduz being their most important gain this year.

The capitol of Kabul is still safe, for now. The United States has been working with the government to bomb Taliban territory, killing several Taliban leadership.

Good job, Old Joe. Your crappy foreign policy has just led Afghanistan into a civil war.

AOC is Causing More Stress in Congress

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said she is not ruling out a run for Senator against Chuck Schumer.

She said on CNN:

“I know it drives everybody nuts. But the way that I really feel about this, and the way that I really approach my politics and my political career is that I do not look at things and I do not set my course positionally.

“I know there’s a lot of people who do not believe that. But I really — I can’t operate the way that I operate and do the things that I do in politics while trying to be aspiring to other things or calculating to other things.” 

“For what it’s worth, Senator Schumer and I have been working very closely on a lot of legislation and that, to me, is important.

“And so, we shall see.”

I think this would be delicious. Both are Leftist and both are mean as honey badgers. It would be wonderful to see these tear each other apart. AOC would definitely be the underdog. She stupid and very ineffectual. She down in the bottom rung when it comes to effectiveness and don’t think that’s going to come up. But these two are going to have to fight on the issues and that could be interesting.

Who Didn’t See This Coming?

For years, women’s groups in California have begged the state not to allow men into women’s prisons simply because they say they are men. But that has been made law and the state must follow it. Even men who have committed violent crimes against women would be allowed to be put into a women’s prison.

I’d want to be put into a women’s prison. Probably cleaner, less violent and there are women.

The state handled the controversy is by handing out condoms to the prisoners. No kidding.

In January of this year, California enacted SB 132 which allowed men who said they were women, even men with all their gear, to request a transfer to women’s prisons. So far, there have been 300 prisoners who have requested such a transfer. Notice, not a lot of women who are saying they are men are requesting a transfer to a men’s prison. So far, none of the requests have been denied and 20 have already been processed.

The Women’s Liberation Front has been fighting this law. Here enters the answer of handing out the condoms. The WLF said the response is “tacit admission by officials that women should expect to be raped when housed in prison with men,” which an inmate described to the group as “a nightmare’s worst nightmare.”

An inmate from the Central California Women’s Facility stated:

“How do we feel safe in our community? When we reach out for help we get nothing. There has been an assault on a woman and we still are silenced.”

Another inmate said:

“Does anyone care that we are being forced to house with 6’2, 250+ lbs men with penises that are here for brutally raping women? We have been warned by the officials in this prison, more are coming with worse charges. Where is the safety concern for us? If we say we are in fear, we are the ones locked up.”

Well, shockingly, what we expected happened. According to a statement released by the Women’s Liberations Front:

“We have now heard from seven different people inside CCWF that at least one woman, possibly more, is now pregnant after being housed with a male felon who was transferred to the women’s prison under SB132.

“Our connections tell us that at least 3 of the men have now been moved to Administrative Segregation,” 

There you go. Whose following the science now? I thought transwomen couldn’t get real women pregnant.

Now, not only do we have to pay for this gal’s pregnancy over the next nine months but we also have to pay the extra money to house these guys in segregation.

This Is How To DO It

This is a great story and will replace my daily Tik Tok video. It is something that we can learn from.

In Washington state, the owner of a Star Wars memorabilia store, a 70-year-old man named Don Sucher, put up a sign in his window jokingly stating the release of a new Dr. Seuss book called If You Are Born With A Dick, You’re Not A Chick. This guy is a 70-year-old Vietnam veteran.

A city councilman from the town of Albedeen, named Tiesa Meskis, who is a man who wears a dress, walked in and got into a fight with Sucher:

So this guy walks into someone’s shop and just starts chastising him for having this sign up. Now, mind you, I think it is tacky and I wouldn’t think that using that type of language in front of your shop is a good idea but that’s his business. If you don’t like it, shop there.

This is also a 70-year-old man who has served this country in war. He’s probably sick and tired of the political correctness thing. He was definitely ticked off about Dr. Seuss being banned. But that’s his business.

This guy walks into his store and yells at him. This is probably half the problem. He’s tired of being told what he has to believe.

This fight continued outside. Here, Meskis starts acting like an ass. He could have just walked away or, better yet, not walked into the store in the first place. Listen:

This is the kind of behavior does not make one sympathetic. He’s throwing a temper tantrum. He couldn’t reason his way to getting what he wanted or threaten so he throws a fit.

This is just a bad look and does nothing for his case.

The final clip is Sucher being interviewed after this whole thing was done. He sums it up really well:

He’s right. He’s old, spent most of his life believing men were men and women were women. He doesn’t like what is happening in the country he fought for. He just wants to live his life, for better or worse, and be left alone.

But this is an important example of what we all are going to need to do. Ben Shapiro’s book, The Authoritarian Moment, spends 230 pages telling how to fight this: Just say no. Men can’t be women. Redistribution of wealth and socialism are evil. There is nothing good about open borders or defunding the police. Guns don’t kill people, criminals do. Racism is not built into me because I am white but through my actions. And I should have the right to say whatever I want.

We are all going to be faced with these scenarios and our actions will show the path this country is going to take. In the past, we lived by something called the Cordiality Principle. We tried to be too polite instead of pushing back when things didn’t seem to be going too far. We are the majority in this country and we need to begin pushing back against this nonsense.

We just need to do what this old guy did and say no.

Episode 393 – Cori Who?

Great news for the economy.

Cori Bush is the new face of the Squad.

And businesses just can’t quit the love affair with China.

 

That’s Good News

Remember when I said on Tuesday that the jobs report was looking to be bad? Well, it turned out to be excellent and was the first report to exceed expectations.

  • 943,000 jobs were created in July.
  • The unemployment rate went from 5.9% to 5.4%
  • June’s report was also revised, adding 88,000 jobs.

That’s great news for Biden.

Many are saying that the job gains are occurring because three more states joined in ending the $300 supplemental unemployment benefits.

That’s not great news for Biden.

The Labor Secretary, Marty Walsh, said there was no evidence that the ending of the supplemental unemployment benefits had anything to do with the great report.

Well, we’ll see. Logically, what Walsh is saying makes no sense. If people are no longer getting all that extra money they are going to have to get it from somewhere. A job seems to be a good place to make up that extra money. Next month, the unemployment benefits end.

She’s a Terrible Person

The Squad has a new leader. That’s right, AOC is no longer the face of the squad. It’s Cori Bush, the Democratic representative from Missouri. She’s louder, more Marxist, dumber and more miserable than Ocasio-Cortez. She had some hot takes this week and, like AOC is wrong about everything.

 

Defunding the Police

I forgot one other things Cori Bush is: a hypocrite. Here she is saying she needs private security even though she screams about defunding the police:

Some things:

  • Being a hypocrite has nothing to do with want her to die. People don’t want you to die, they want you to be consistent.
  • The self-importance is disgusting. What about the people who depend on the police to protect their bodies. Are they not important?
  • The white supremacist narrative to hide hypocrisy is not going to be embrace by the public.
  • She had also mentioned that there have already been attempts on her life. We know that is BS because we would never hear the end of that.

 

The McCloskey Pardon

You remember the McCloskeys? During the BLM riots, rioter broke into their private community by breaking down a rot iron gate and walked down the street. The husband and wife armed themselves and stood in front of their property with weapons ready. They were threatened and yelled at. These animals even threatened to kill the family dog.

Nobody was arrested except for the McCloskeys. They had their guns taken away and finally settled on a misdemeanor. That way, they could go out and buy new guns. Republican Gov. Mike Parson, finally, ended this madness and pardoned them.

Cori Bush has some real strong words about the pardon:

Couple of things:

  • She was at the riot. Doesn’t that make her guilty of trespassing.
  • The pardons that she is asking for are for criminals.
  • Non-violent protestors? These were rioters. They tore down a rot iron fence and trespassed onto private property. They caused damage. They threatened the residents.

 

Squatters Unite

Cori Bush has really been against the end of the rent moratorium. She actually parked her on the steps of the Capitol building in protest to the end of the moratorium. She was trying to show the world what it would be like to be homeless. Of course, all one has to do to see what it’s like to be homeless is walk the Cori Bush’s district.

Some things:

  • Maybe she should have waited to be married to have children.
  • Landlords aren’t getting help. There was no plan by the government to allocate that money and Elizabeth Warren admits that.
  • The money is starting to move after a year?

 

Not Being Embraced

This stuff isn’t working:

  • Over 80% of people do not support the defund the police movement.
  • Democrats are beginning to see the disaster that is the “defund the police” movement because of the high crime and they are getting blamed.
  • Cori Bush keeps talking and pushing this very unpopular policy.
  • She does because she’s a Marxist. She wants:
    • No local police.
    • A national police force which she can control.
    • Supports the rioters such as BLM and Antifa just as Hitler embraced the Brown Shirts.

I say, keep talking. Keep pushing this. She sounds uneducated and she sounds like a tyrant. Her hypocrisy makes her look like she doesn’t care about anyone but herself. Her spitting on the McCloskeys show she doesn’t want any way that people can defend themselves. People cannot have the police nor can they have guns to protect themselves.

The is totalitarian stuff and no one likes it. I bet even her supporters are beginning to question her and her policies.

Apple is Just as Bad

I do not own anything Nike. I run so shoes are a big deal. I do not own a Nike shirt, Nike shorts, Nike socks or Nike jackets. I refuse to buy anything for someone else if its Nike. If Josie wants a pair of Nike shoes, she can pay for them. Her kids want Nike shoes, get a job and pay for them yourselves.

The reason I don’t buy anything Nike is because they make their products using slavery that China endorses and Nike finds no issue with it. Not only does Nike support it, they are one with the Chinese.

  • Companies are amoral. But ignoring the evils of a government because you “sell lots of stuff” to them and can make a $300 pair of shoes for $10 is not amoral. It’s immoral.
  • There are other companies that have decided to work with China because of their slave labor manufacturing. Apple is one. I won’t own and iPhone either.
  • Trump had the right idea. He was going to choke off American companies from manufacturing in China. It was working and was hurting the Chinese economy.
  • The Chinese economy depends on the United States.

But Joe Biden has not only ended of all of Trump’s roadblocks for China. Now, a bunch of businesses have asked the Biden administration to negotiate with China to end all the tariffs.

The trade groups include some of Washington’s most influential big business associations, including the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the Business Roundtable, the National Retail Federation, the American Farm Bureau Federation and the Semiconductor Industry Association.

This country is never going to change until we put ethics in front of the mighty dollar.

Ksenia Ovchinnikova is suing McDonald’s after claiming that seeing a mouthwatering cheeseburger commercial made her break her fast during Lent.

The unhappy meal reportedly occurred in April 2019, while the Omsk native was observing Lent, a strict period in which devout Christians are expected to forgo meat, meat by-products, poultry, eggs, and dairy.

She’s decided to sue McDonald’s for the huge sum of $14. The cost of the meal.

Episode 392 – Empathy with Conditions

The Biden administration shows that being empathetic is a one way street.

The pandemic is making, supposedly smart people, say really stupid things.

And one American shows what the Olympics were about.

 

Where’s the Empathy Here?

Last week, the rent moratorium that was put in place last year due to the closing of the economy, expired last week. Joe Biden and the Democrats wanted to reinstate the rent moratorium through Executive Order. Joe Biden was asking his legal advisors if he could actually do this constitutionally.

Now, before we move on, you might be thinking about the landlords here. These are the people, a lot of them middle class people that depend on rents to pay their mortgages and live, were suppose to get support from the government. Unfortunately for them, the bureaucracy and red tape made getting that support almost impossible. Some of the landlords lost their properties.

Anyway, Brett Kavanaugh was asked about whether Biden can extend this moratorium though executive fiat and he said he didn’t think so. He believed that the only way it could be extended was through Congress and any Executive Order of this type would probably be thrown out in court.

The Centers for Disease Control, which has been wrong about everything, decided to release an order that extends the rent moratorium. The order states:

The order also states:

“A person violating this Order may be subject to a fine of no more than $100,000 or one year in jail, or both, if the violation does not result in a death, or a fine of no more than $250,000 or one year in jail, or both if the violation results in a death or s otherwise provided by law.

“An organization violating this Order may be subject to a fine of no more than $200,000 per event if the violation does not result in a death or $500,000 per event if the violation results in a death or as otherwise provided by law. The U.S. Department of Justice may initiate criminal proceedings as appropriate seeking imposition of these criminal penalties.”

None of this is legal. Even the Biden administration admits that the CDC has no legal authority to issue this order. Jan Psaki, when asked, stated:

“[CDC officials] have been unable to find legal authority for a new, targeted eviction moratorium.

“Our team is redoubling efforts to identify all available legal authorities to provide necessary protections. In the meantime, the President will continue to do everything in his power to help renters from eviction.”

But that’s not going to stop Old Joe!

Joe Biden decided to go ahead and approve the moratorium based on the CDC’s order including the penalties. When asked about it, he admitted that this was probably going to get overturned in court. Probably because it’s unconstitutional. But going to court would take time and it would offer a few months of free rent to those who need it.

 

What About the Landlords?

Here’s the reality: most landlords aren’t rich. Most are middle class and have to care for their properties on their own. Most depend on their rents to pay their mortgages, insurance, taxes, adhere to regulations and day-to-day family expenses. My grandparents owned property for renters and they were constantly doing a balancing act with their income and outgoing expenses. Things like a person leaving their apartment really brought a lot of stress on them because they lost income and had to spend money to prepare the apartment for the next tenant. My grandfather used to do all the repairs himself. That’s where I learned to fix and change out toilets and repair minor electrical problems.

It’s tough to be a landlord. My grandparents weren’t the only ones either.

Bob Pinnegar, CEO of the National Apartment Association, said in a press release:

“Each passing month further escalates the risk of losing an ever-increasing amount of rental housing, ultimately jeopardizing the availability of safe, sustainable and affordable housing for all Americans. Flawed eviction moratoriums leave renters with insurmountable debt and housing providers holding the bag as our nation’s housing affordability crisis spirals into a housing affordability disaster.” 

The majority of the nation’s landlords are individual investors. They own about 23 million units in 17 million properties, according to the U.S. Census. More than 6 million renter households are behind on rent, also according to the Census. Landlords have next to no recourse.

What’s going to end up happening, people are going to lose their properties and, I suspect, buildings will be sold. People are going to lose their livelihoods. Renters, who actually pay their rent, are going to lose their apartments. All because a bunch of f-ing squatters want to live without adhering to the responsibilities of leasing an apartment.

I bet those bums aren’t late on their smart phone payments.

Hey, news flash, the pandemic is over. These people who are living off of the government need to get off their asses, get a job and start committing to the responsibilities they committed to when they signed their leases. If not, get the hell out of the apartment and let an adult move in.

The official jobs report will not be released until Friday by the Department of Labor but it sounds like there is going to be more bad news for the Biden administration.

Economists expected that there would be 653,000 jobs. Moody’s Analytics with statistics from the ADP Research Institute said that there were only about 330,000 jobs added.

The leisure and hospitality services was leading in hiring at 139,000.

ADP chief economist Nela Richardson was quoted saying:

“The labor market recovery continues to exhibit uneven progress, but progress nonetheless. July payroll data reports a marked slowdown from the second quarter pace in jobs growth.

“Bottlenecks in hiring continue to hold back stronger gains, particularly in light of new COVID-19 concerns tied to viral variants. These barriers should ebb in coming months, with stronger monthly gains ahead as a result.”

Yeah, I don’t think this is going to get any better until people are forced to go back to work and pay their bills.

New York is a Mess

Andrew Cuomo

Today, the Attorney General of New York, Leticia James, made an announcement that was bad news for Gov. Andrew Cuomo:

The probe included interviews with 179 women who came into contact with Andrew Cuomo between 2013 and 2020 and around 70,000 pieces of evidence, James said.

Cuomo responded in a statement:

I was wondering what was happening with this whole thing. It seemed the Andrew Cuomo was going to get away with this without much push back. It’s no surprise that this Leticia James is continuing her investigation. She wants to run for Governor. But he does have some more serious scandals on his place than this. His policies killed 15,000 old people by sticking COVID positive people back into retirement homes. He then lied about the numbers. After he did that, he wrote a book celebrating his “leadership” during the COVID crisis. That book was crafted by using his staff which is illegal. He made $5 million from the publishing company.

It seems to me those things should be investigated rather than the sexual harassment claims. But it looks like what’ll take him out are the claims. Cuomo has been really quiet since all these scandals have occurred, hoping it would just go away. In fact, we all thought it was going to go away. Now, it looks like the state is going to move ahead with impeachment.

Bill de Blasio

The worst mayor in the United States, Bill de Blasio made an announcement today that is sure to be followed up in California because that’s what we do. I personally thought this was bigger news than that of the Cuomo story. Here is the serial groundhog killer:

So now people are not going to be allowed to go out or work because Bill de Blasio says so? I’m pretty sure this isn’t legal. The government can’t just shut one out of life because you don’t want to medically do what the government wants you to do. I also think the use of vaccine passports might be unconstitutional because it’s requiring one to give their personal medical history. I know I don’t want to do that.

It’s also discrimination and segregation, splitting the vaccinated and unvaccinated. That makes little sense since you actually want the unvaccinated hanging around the vaccinated because they won’t get sick. So, from a logic standpoint, this doesn’t make a lot of sense.

I talked about it a lot yesterday and it still holds true: this whole pandemic and vaccine thing has nothing to do with keeping one safe and everything to do with power and control and it’s kind of scary. If you don’t do what the government wants you to do, in this case, get vaccinated, you can be shut out of life and shamed. This is the ultimate cancel culture.

STOP APOLOGIZING!

It was reporter by the Daily Mail that a professor at a prestigious medical school had to apologize to his students because he said “pregnant woman.” After the “misstep,” the professor made the following statement:

“I said “when a woman is pregnant,” which implies that only women can get pregnant and I most sincerely apologize to all of you.

“I don’t want you to think that I am in any way trying to imply anything, and if you can summon some generosity to forgive me, I would really appreciate it.  

“It was certainly not my intention to offend anyone. The worst thing that I can do as a human being is be offensive.” 

This is a medical doctor teaching future medical doctors medicine and he has to apologize for stating a medical fact.

The article talks about how woke medical students are filing petitions and complaints to the administration because professors do not use the right terms.

Now, I may be way off here, but I really am getting tired of children running the schools. A professor should never have to apologize to a student because he said something that the little brat didn’t like, especially if what he said something as uncontroversial and factual like women can get pregnant. I also find it disturbing that future medical doctors, who could be treating me some day in the future, are so woke they ignore facts that are going to be needed to treat people.

This is Healthcare?

According to WebMD, the American Medical Association recommended removing sex designation from birth certificates. According the WebMD:

Requiring it can lead to discrimination and unnecessary burden on individuals whose current gender identity does not align with their designation at birth, namely when they register for school or sports, adopt, get married, or request personal records.

A person’s sex designation at birth would still be submitted to the U.S. Standard Certificate of Live Birth for medical, public health, and statistical use only, report authors note.

This drives me crazy. Sex is not something one is designated or assigned. One is born into their sex. As a medical doctor, to continue to not acknowledge that sex is an absolute, physical attribute of an individual is as anti-scientific as it gets. It does not matter what a person feels in ten to twenty years from birth. That person is always going to be the sex in which he was born. Period.

Willie Underwood III, MD, author of the Board Report 15, which made the recommendation states:

“Assigning sex using binary variables in the public portion of the birth certificate fails to recognize the medical spectrum of gender identity.”

Well, here’s something wild, sex is binary.

Jeremy Toler, MD, a delegate from GLMA: Health Professionals Advancing LGBTQ Equality said transgender, gender nonbinary, and individuals with differences in sex development said:

“We unfortunately still live in a world where it is unsafe in many cases for one’s gender to vary from the sex assigned at birth.”

What is he talking about? The Muppet Babies is not introducing cross dressing to three-year-olds. A man competed as a woman in the Olympics because he said he was a woman. A man competed for the Canadian women’s Olympic soccer team because he said he is a woman. Not only is a man saying he’s a woman safe, it’s being propagated.

When I was younger, I used to accept that I wasn’t the smartest person in the world. Now I am realizing I am smarter than some guys who spend twelve years in school to become doctors.

This is dangerous stuff. Men and women do have different biological builds. We aren’t the same. Saying I’m a woman will not change that I am really a man. If I go to a doctor because my stomach hurts, he needs to know my sex because the cause of my pain can be very different from that of a female. This has happened in the past. A woman has gone to see a doctor, saying she was a man, and she was misdiagnosed and died.

Episode 390 – Rule for Thee But Not for Me

The Dems are at it again. Listen to this genius who was interviewed a year ago, I think, in Newport Beach where the COVID shutdowns were definitely not embraced:

Here We Go Again

On Tuesday, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) said that, with the rise of the delta variant of the China Virus, we might have to all start masking up again, no matter vaccination status.

Rochelle Walensky, the director of the CDC said:

“In recent days, I have seen new scientific data from sequenced outbreak investigations showing that the delta variant behaves uniquely differently from past strains of the virus that cause COVID-19. Information on the delta variant from several states and other countries indicate that in rare occasions, some vaccinated people infected with the delta variant after vaccination may be contagious and spread the virus to others.”

They also decided on something else that goes completely against prior recommendations. In a significant shift from prior guidance, the CDC also recommended “universal indoor masking for all teachers, staff, students, and visitors to K-12 schools, regardless of vaccination status.”

On the heels of the CDC announcement, Joe Biden decided to have a press conference. Let’s take a look at some of the things he said.

Here we go.

Reality is he can’t force a government mandate on the vaccines. It’s unconstitutional. But this administration does to care about the Constitution. They’ve been walking over it since the Obama administration. The problem for the Biden administration is he is weighing his abilities based on a risk/ reward assessment. If this turns out to be an unpopular decision, which it has already shown to be, this could damage the rest of his term. If people buy his crap, power for the government will be extended.

Here’s the problem, people are not embracing his ideas. People actually are seeing the mask and vaccine as chains.

By the way, the risk/ reward calculations the Biden team is using the same calculation that people should be using when figuring out whether to get the vaccine or not.

Here, Biden does what he always does:

This is base on a article I read a couple of weeks ago. This article was written by a doctor who was treating a COVID patient.  The patient did not take the vaccine and needed to be put on a ventilator. Before she was put on the ventilator, she asked the doctor if she could get the vaccine. The doctor said it was too late. The article stated he woman (whose picture is included in the story) died and the doctor went into her office and cried.

A lot of people think this was a propaganda story.  There was a picture of the doctor smiling as if she were strolling on a sunny spring day. Doctors are typically not allowed to talk about patients with the media. There was a picture of the patient, which is also against medical privacy laws. By the way, the patient, who I am assuming is very much alive, weighed about 400 pounds. Seems like she might be susceptible to the China virus.

Now, to what Biden said. He said 99% of COVID deaths are from the unvaccinated. Notice he did not say how many people actually died? That’s because not a lot of people have died. Last week, throughout the country, there were only 296 deaths in the last 7 days. This is from the CDC. To give you a comparison, in 2020, 1600 people a day or 11,200 a week.

Um, why aren’t we flipping out about cancer?

Ben Shapiro made a comment that more people died of Alzheimer’s Disease last week than the China virus. So the big question is, why are we being threatened with lockdowns and mask mandates again?

This is nothing more than pure fear mongering. The statistics show that the unvaccinated are not dying of this thing and the vaccinated aren’t even showing symptoms.

This is another talking point with the Left and the vaccines. It has been since the Democrats decided that the vaccines were important, after Trump left the White House. If you don’t get vaccinated, you’re going to kill everybody you love and everyone else.

Here is Joe Biden again, going after the unvaccinated by saying everyone around them is going to die if you do not get vaccinated.

The first problem with that is it’s just not true. People are catching the delta variant, vaccinated or not, but very few are dying. Just look at the death statistics for the last 7 says for some of the large cities:

  • Washington DC – 0
  • Jacksonville, FL – 0
  • Philadelphia – 1
  • San Diego – 2
  • Dallas – 2
  • St. Louis – 1

At the height of the pandemic, we were averaging, across the country, 5000 deaths a day. Joe is lying to you. The stats prove he is lying to you. Grandma, if she got the vaccine, will be just fine. My dad refuses to take the vaccine. That’s OK. I got it and my fiancé got it and he is taking precautions. He’ll be fine.

This is insane.

It is not good for children to be breathing in the air they expel because they are wearing a filthy mask all day to “protect” themselves from a virus that has not killed any children since the pandemic started (<350). Masks limit their air intake and increase their CO2 intake. That’s bad. Masks also inhibit the socialization that kids need when they are in school. They need to see each other.

As far as teachers catching the virus from their students as a reason kids should wear masks, that’s dumb. Teachers can get vaccinated (<60% of teachers are vaccinated), if they have a condition that prevents them from getting vaccinated, go on a leave of absence or quit. I think any teacher who requires students to wear a mask or doesn’t want kids in school like last year, shouldn’t be teaching.

Though this has been denied by the Biden administration (sort of) there is now talks about going back to remote learning in the fall. As far as I’m concerned, this should be enough of a reason to put an end to the teacher’s unions. They hate kids.

What?! You mean the expanded unemployment benefits, the child tax credits, the rent moratoriums and the two stimulus checks aren’t enough? And if someone isn’t getting the jab because he fears for his personal safety, why does the administration think another $100 is going to change anything?

Conclusion

Listen, we all knew this was going to happen. We were going to have another emergency. The pandemic was not going to end. It’ll never end. They don’t want it to end. It is the Left’s excuse to change the system and get the people to depend on the government. They want to take money and power away from the people. They want to curb our freedoms and make us into drones. Those who do not comply will be ostracized for society.

They aren’t hiding it. Listen to Don Lemon makes this very clear on CNN:

Not Being Embraced

Peter Doocy is a god when t comes to calling out the President. He is going to become famous over the next four years thanks to the compliant, wuss media who is too busy asking about Biden’s favorite ice cream. he decided to question the Principal Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre about why Americans need to wear a mask yet the Border Patrol is required to release COVID-19 positives illegal aliens into the United States without even testing. This is awesome:

This is an awesome video clip. It shows how lost the Biden administration is lost when it comes to answering tough questions to their illogical and conflicting policies. Her answer was precious:

  • It took her 20 seconds, because of the fire alarm, to think of an answer. I’m sure this was not on purpose but, I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but I’m not sure it wasn’t an accident. She was using this time to figure out an answer.
  • The media looks really bad here. They try o help her out by laughing. A joke later, she is ready to answer the question…sort of.
  • When someone says this is “a 30,000 foot view,” it means I am not going to answer her question.
  • She stuttering. The answer is incomplete and uncomfortable.
  • They haven’t changed Title 42 but are also not enforcing it.
  • They are given PPE and need to wear it. But no testing. Because they don’t have to accept a test.
  • If they exhibit symptoms, they shouldn’t be sent to OUR medical authorities, shouldn’t they, per Title 42, be sent back?

Very piss poor answer. It also makes the viewer wonder how serious the China virus is being taken by the Biden administration and why we have to go through such extreme measures while criminals are just being set free.

Peter Doocy also cornered Joe Biden and asked about Joe’s promise two months ago:

Yeah and this is the problem with all the messaging from the Biden administration. He says one thing two months ago and says another today. Tony Fauci is also notorious for this. He has jumped back and forth for the last year and a half. But his wasn’t because of the science. His was because he lied. That’s why the Rand Paul conflicts are so delicious. He catches Fauci in all these lies and it will probably get him into trouble one day.

That bring us to “the science”.

Science is a process that tries to come to the truth about a problem. This can involve biology, chemistry, physics or math (yes, math is scientific). The process is called the scientific method:

  • Observe something – COVID-19 is caused by a virus that attacks a cell.
  • Research topic area – Why is the virus there and what we can do compared to other viruses.
  • Hypothesis – Let’s try this vaccine because I think it’s going to work.
  • Test the experiment – Inject the vaccine into a rat with COVID-19.
  • Analyze the data – Did it work? Were there any side effects?
  • Report the data – Publish the findings.

Then other scientists will test the findings. They do this by using the scientific method to test and some might find different results. They will publish and some other scientists will do the same thing, over and over again.

Science is a process. Not an institution. Tony Fauci of the NIH is part of the institution of science. The CDC is the institution is science. Science is no longer a process and the government does not want it to be a process. The government and the media have made science an institution. What they say goes, no matter the studies or the statistics.

  • Barrack Obama is having a birthday party with hundreds of guests and all star entertainment including Pearl Jam. You think anyone will be wearing masks and social distancing? Doubt it.
  • Nancy Pelosi will arrest Representative’s staff in the House chamber for not wearing a mask. Then she took a picture during a swearing in ceremony where no one was wearing a mask with their arms around each other.
  • By the way, Nancy Pelosi got a haircut, called a blowout, during the lockdowns that she supported.
  • Gavin Newsom had a mask-less, two thousand dollar dinner during the lockdowns and mask mandate he implemented.
  • Gretchen Whitmer traveled to Florida when she implemented a travel ban in Michigan.

Episode 389 – What A Sham!

The January 6th commission has started their hearing and it is everything we thought it would be. But people seem to want hearings on some other things.

 

A Schiff Show

This pretty much sums up the Democrats January 6th Commission: Adam Schiff shedding tears. Listen:

Yeah, no. He doesn’t care. But his budging eyes look phenomenal.

Adam Kinzinger, another anti-Trump Republican also shed the crocodile tears:

Couple of things:

  • Anytime a politician cries, it look inauthentic.
  • This guy was never in danger and didn’t see crap.
  • But he does hate Trump.
  • This was not an insurrection. It was bad and ugly but not an insurrection.
  • Nobody is being charged with sedition. Theft, trespassing and destruction of property.
  • This was deadly. A Trump supporter, Ashlii Babbitt was killed. She was the only one killed.
  • We do know what happened. There was a report released. There was not enough security at the capitol and, when requested, Nancy Pelosi froze.

Then you had Liz Cheney and she was awful. Is it any wonder Nancy Pelosi picked these people?

Here’s the story:

  • Not a bipartisan commission.
  • Republicans has no say on who would be on this commission.
  • None of the important questions are going to be asked.
  • The independent report on what happened on January 6th will never be brought up.
  • This is going to be nothing but a show and we haven’t even listened to any of the clips yet of the witnesses.
  • There are thousands of hours of video yet all we are presented with always presents us edited video.

The January 6th Commission went exactly like we thought it would. A partisan fishing expedition that was made to demonize Donald Trump and all other Republicans. I didn’t see it because I think only CNN was running it and I don’t watch CNN except in small doses. But I’m pretty sure no one watched it. Heck, C-SPAN put it on its third channel so…

The committee met for two hours and interviewed four police officers: Michael Fanone, Aquilino Gonell, Danial Hodges and Harry Dunn. According to CNN, there are a few things that the committee is trying to bring out:

  • The police were victims and they were there to protect and serve. There’s a laugh.
  • There were incidence of racism. No evidence was presented but of course there had to be.
  • They presented first hand accounts of violence. Surely there was.
  • This is a bipartisan condemnation of Republicans because two pseudo-Republicans are on the committee.

First, let’s hear from Michael Fanone:

  • These cops always seemed to use rather poor language.
  • I’m sure he’s probably not lying here, but why not use his gun? That’s what he was trained for. With that, I am skeptical.
  • He does admit that some were not only not violent, but were ready to help him.

But that is not the message the Left wants out. Fanone needed to make some things clear. He needed to get back on track with the Left’s narrative:

  • Nice acting job with the fist pounding.
  • No one is denying the events of that day.
  • No one betrayed the oath of office.
  • They just are not buying the narrative that the Left is trying to push which is the demonization of the people he is demonizing now.
  • Finally, who is worse here: the Republicans who think this is a political exploitation by the Left or Nancy Pelosi, probably intentionally, not calling for more security.

Just watching this guy, we can see where this whole thing is going. There is not going to be any objective facts in this whole thing. It is going to be about feeling and fear. There aren’t going to be any questions that try to get to the facts of this case because the guys who would have asked the questions were not allowed to be on the panel.

The next guy is a guy named Aquilino Gonell. Here’s what he had to say:

  • Nice way to ask the question.
  • Trump was talking about the people at the rally, not the protestors so there one of the reason Liz Cheney is a terrible human being. She’s a liar.
  • I also want to point out I don’t really care how he “feels” about anything. This is suppose to be an evidentiary hearing. His subjective feeling about something that wasn’t true is irrelevant.
  • Could this have been ever more scripted? The “hugs and kisses” thing just shows that.
  • He also shows the hatred he has for Trump. The violence that should be done to Trump. This is something Trump has never pushed even on January 6th.
  • I do want to point out Trump is not in charge of “sending the army to the Capitol”. That was Nancy Pelosi’s job.
  • Finally, the demonization of Trump and Trump supporters and, indirectly, all Republicans.

This is why I’m against this commission. The Left wants to make all Republicans evil. This is how gulags are build and genocides start. If your opponent is evil, why would it be bad to kill them?

This question comes from that scum Jamie Raskin to Daniel Hodges. This question could not be anymore leading.

  • No one is being charge with sedition, as I’ve said before. Already his question is bad because it is based in a lie.
  • Tourists? I don’t remember anyone saying they were called tourists. I do remember someone saying that the Capitol police were letting people into the Capitol like they were tourists.
  • Again, very scripted answer. That little joke proved it.
  • See the pattern here? Nobody likes Americans.

Finally, we have to coup de gras of the interviews. This one comes from Harry Dunn. First thing he needed to do was

  • Just an FYI, this guy is a BLM supporter and has been to their protests.
  • The butt kissing is disgusting.
  • He basically is calling for not only the protestors to go to jail but everyone who buys Conservative thought including Donald Trump. By the way, this is a basic Democratic talking point.
  • Again, this has already been investigated.

Then, he dropped a bombshell. I just want to warn you, the language is explicit:

  • Alex, I’ll take that was BS for $500.
  • How did anyone know he voted for Joe Biden?
  • There are thousands of hours of audio and video. Not one clip has been shown someone saying that. I’m sorry, the N-word is just not used much anymore.
  • This was important testimony because it showed that everyone there was a racist. Then Dunn
  • And let’s not forget: He’s a BLM supporter!

Conclusion

Here’s what we learned from this:

  • This is nothing more than a partisan hit job.
  • This is made to demonize anyone who doesn’t agree with the Left.
  • No facts are going to come up from this.
  • Democrats need to do this to deflect from their failures, especially before 2022.
  • I find it funny that the Democrats, especially the defund ones, are suddenly thinking that police are heroes.
  • They are ignoring the actually objective report that blamed the Capitol police leadership and Nancy Pelosi for the attack.
  • There will be no mention of the BLM and Antifa riots of last summer. Most people want the summer riots investigated.
  • By the way, this attack on the Capitol was not the worst in history. There were two bombing of the Capitol building in the 1960s.

Episode 388 – I Remember When Olympians Were Tough

COVID is showing us how much the Left hates us.

They are also trying to keep Conservatives out of civil life.

They Hate You

COVID has become a huge issue today again. Infections are way up. I think I mentioned something about this before, I can’t remember. But infections were way up and deaths are way down. Of course, no talks about the fact that this delta variant actually isn’t killing anyone. New York had an daily 7-day average death rate of 1. Yeah, but this is the need for declaring an emergency.

Today, the CDC has reversed its mask mandate saying that people should wear masks, no matter the vaccination status, should wear masks in areas with a high infection rate. This includes schools. They also mandated vaccines for federal employees. The emergency continues.

I’m sure I’ve said this before: the Left needs a perpetual emergency. They never want this to end. If this pandemic ends, Democrats have to give up their power. They don’t want to give up their power.

Donny Deutsch of MSNBC made this creepy remark. Mandate the vaccine to save them elites from those idiot rubes. Listen to this:

Thoughts:

  • There is an idiot population in this world and it is the Leftist elites, like Donny Deutsch , who cannot see that they are power mongers and tyrants.
  • That the power that people like Donny Deutsch don’t understand is things he wants to implement have been done before and they don’t work.

It was considered one of Hilary’s greatest gaffs for losing the election. Not anymore.

I also am getting tired of the demonization of people the elites don’t agree with. We are ants. We are cockroaches. We are white trash, bigots, racists, homophobes and xenophobes. Good news is people are getting tired of being called names. Joe Biden has lost a lot of popularity. CNN and MSNBC, who are the greatest sinners, have lost a ton of viewers because they spend the entire day calling the right of Left names.

Finally, how wise is the government?

  • They overspend money.
  • Can’t stop crime.
  • Can’t stop the surge on the border, all not being tested for COVID.
  • They think Abe Lincoln was a racist.
  • They think men and women are exactly the same.
  • They think men can magically become women.
  • They are spending $20,000 on a single trash can.

Do these guys sound very wise and capable of running my life? They don’t even know my name.

But the emergency is needed. Enter Gavin Newsom, the garbage governor of California who has, right now, a 50-50 chance of being recalled. He said this about people who are not getting the vaccine:

Couple of things:

  • These people pointing to new cases of infections.
    • They fail to point out people aren’t dying.
    • They fail to understand that masks may be causing harm. A study came out pointing out that teens are five times more likely to commit suicide than catch COVID and that another study pointed out that CO2 levels in children under 12, wearing dirty masks all day, is affecting their physical health.
  • I also want to point out, when we were in the crux of the pandemic and a thousand people were dying a day, Gavin Newsom was eating a $2000 meal at the French Laundry, unmasked with a bunch of doctors.
  • Another problem with his belief that only the Right and Tucker Carlson’s followers are not getting vaccinated is just ridiculous and a lie.
    • Chicago, hardly a Tucker audience or Trump supporters, has less than 50% vaccinated.
    • Blacks have a vaccination rate of 35%.
    • Most blue cities are way below vaccination averages.
  • Finally, comparing not being vaccinated to drunk driving is just idiotic.
    • People use risk/reward to determine whether to get the vaccine or not. If I’m 20 years old, the chances of me getting sick and dying of COVID isn’t worth the risk of an unapproved vaccine that has side affects.
    • I may way in my family and what they need or desire but everyone else in the state is on their own. I’m not responsible for them. They need to take care of themselves.
    • Drunk drivers, on the other hand, do not way in any risk/reward. They are irresponsible and actually have their judgement impaired.

The insults keep on coming and that’s not going to help the Ken doll win his recall vote. His hypocrisy during this pandemic is part of the reason he’s in trouble. Finally, does this guy seem wise and intelligent enough to make decisions for me? I think not.

Time to Start Our Own Economy

USA Today released an article stating that the money trading site Paypal is joining up with the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) to find out how extremist and hate groups are funded. Both that organization and PayPal say the results of their research will be shared within the financial industry, policymakers and law enforcement.

In a statement, Paypal said:

“By identifying partners across sectors with common goals and complementary resources, we can make an even greater impact than any of us could do on our own.”

“We have a unique opportunity to further understand how hate spreads and develop key insights that will inform the efforts of the financial industry, law enforcement, and our communities in mitigating extremist threats.”

According to the ADL website:

The initiative with PayPal will be led through ADL’s Center on Extremism, a leading authority on extremism, terrorism and hate. PayPal and ADL will focus on further uncovering and disrupting the financial pipelines that support extremist and hate movements. In addition to extremist and anti-government organizations, the initiative will focus on actors and networks spreading and profiting from all forms of hate and bigotry against any community.

According to ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt:

“All of us, including in the private sector, have a critical role to play in fighting the spread of extremism and hate. With this new initiative, we’re setting a new standard for companies to bring their expertise to critical social issues. We have a unique opportunity to further understand how hate spreads and develop key insights that will inform the efforts of the financial industry, law enforcement, and our communities in mitigating extremist threats.”

This is a scary thing because this is what the Nazis did when Hitler took over. They demonized all those who did not go along with the Nazi propaganda. That includes the Jews and people of color. Once demonized, these people are ostricized from society and being able to work with society. Look at what they did to Trump. He lost his ability to sell his campaign products on one of these sites because he was considered an extremist. He was the President of the United States of Christ’s sake. He is hardly an extremist.

But, remember this line from Trump:

“They don’t hate you because they hate me. They me because they hate you.:

This is exactly it. Extremism is not defined. But I bet it will be defined by groups like BLM and the LGBTQ+ and other Leftist scholars. And guess who they are going to consider an extremist: you and me. And they want us gone. They can’t stick us in gulags yet, though they’ll try. All they are trying to do now is get us banned from civil society. We know they can do it. Look what they did to Trump.

But this might not be a terribly bad thing. Conservatives like the Daily Wire and Blaze TV are actually expanding their platforms to include things like movires, televisions shows and books that the Left has banned. This might be a chance for making a lot more rich people by creating products, services and even our own institutions that will be available for all, not just the Left.

So start thinking of what you want to do. You could be rich and I bet you’ll run it a lot better than any of these cancel culture morons too.

  • The father has joint custody of the child and is suppose to be involved in all medical decisions.
  • At 9, the boy decided he was a girl and the mother, never telling the father, sent him to a gender clinic.
  • The gender clinic, after two years using affirmative therapy, decided it was time to put the boy, at 11,on hormone therapy.
  • The father found out, accidently when he went to his appointment, that his son was being treated. So we now know his father was paying for the kid’s insurance.

Now he is taking the mother and the “medical” center to court and trying to stop all this. That mother should be arrested for child abuse for doing what she did or, at least, the kid should be removed from her. This is a travesty all on the shoulders of political correctness.

  • The women’s soccer team continues to be mediocre. They tied Australia 0-0 but they do get to move on to the next round. Just one more loss!
  • Simone Biles has pulled out of the women’s team gymnastic competition. She wasn’t injured. She was just depressed. What a hero.
  •  So far, two Arab judo fighters have been eliminated and were sent home because they wouldn’t fight an Israeli fighter. They won’t fight because of the “occupation of Israel in Palestine”. Of course, there is no Palestine so goodbye and good riddance.

Episode 387 – Wait, How Much for That?!

Surprise! Our kids are getting out of college and don’t know how to live real life.

Math is racist and needs to become woke.

And I wish that the morons in San Francisco would be more awake than woke.

SWNS Digital just released a a poll that says that 81% of graduating college students wish they had learned some life skills when they were in school. According to the survey, which covered about 2000 graduating students:

  • 30% moved make home.
  • 31% moved back to their home towns.
  • 32% put their student loans on hold as much as possible.
  • 70% are overwhelmed by their living expenses.
  • 28% don’t have enough credit to get a loan and 39% have bad credit.
  • 17% don’t know how to cook or do their own laundry.
  • 26% do not know basic apartment maintenance such as resetting a router or unclogging a toilet.

The good news is that the students do understand about things like credit scores and even know where to go for financial advice and 70% felt confident about their financial future.

I blame just about everything for this.

Parents need to let their kids grow up. Let them make mistakes. Our kids are way too coddled and protected. I deal with helicopter parenting on a daily basis. Parents should stop buying their children cellphones and make them go out and experience life. Children should have chores. I knew how to do laundry at 11 years old. I was cooking by 15 years old. My grandfather taught me how to, not only how to unclog a drain in a sink and a toilet, he taught me how to fix a toilet and even had me help him swap out a toilet.

Another thing parents need to do is have their teenage kids get jobs when it is legal to do so. This college kids are getting out of college with zero experience in anything. Having a job teaches a lot of things outside of the job they are doing:

  • Learn responsibility.
  • Time management.
  • The value of money including taxes.
  • The importance of attitude.
  • The importance of customer service.

I also blame the school system itself. When I was in school, the teacher was in charge. Well, today, the patients are running the asylum. Children have way too much control of the school itself. They have all these “rights”, which is crap. Children do not have rights. They are there to be prepared for the real world.

As we will talk about in a few minutes, political correctness and social issues have gotten in the way of education. Are kids know nothing of history, civics, math, reading and science. But they do do about fat shaming, racism and LGBTQ stuff.

Speaking Of That

There is an old video online. This video is a split screen. On the left side of the screen is a teacher teaching how to do multiplication in the new way that common core teaches. On the right side of the screen is a person doing the same multiplication problem on a piece of paper with a men.

The person on the right finishes the problem in 17 seconds (and I think she was taking his time). The teacher is on step two of the very complicated process. In the meantime, the gal is making coffee, she lets the dog out. The teacher finally gets to step three while the right side is pouring her freshly brewed coffee. At the end, we find out that the teacher got the same answer. But it took 3 minutes to do it.

This is the failure of common core.

But math and the other disciplines have become politicized.

Jefferson County Public School (JCPS) district in Louisville, Kentucky has decided that math is way to racist to the point of being violent and the teachers need to be taught how to make math less racist.

The College Fix reported:

The program’s goal is to “eliminate curricular violence and innovate mathematics education” through “anti-bias, anti-racist, and racially equitable practices.”

Educators will engage in monthly sessions with Lateefah Id-Deen, assistant professor of mathematics education at Kennesaw State University, which focus on topics like white supremacy in mathematics, racial trauma in mathematics, and creating anti-racist lesson plans.

Id-Deen teaches mathematics methods courses in the Kennesaw State University Department of Elementary and Early Childhood Education, emphasizing racial equity and culturally relevant pedagogy. She is also a frequent speaker at educator conferences and for the local school district.

Some details of the program are:

  • The program will start in August and go through May of 2022.
  • Teachers will be taught once a week for four sessions that will last two hours about how to get rid of racism in math.
  • Teacher will get one-on-one coaching.

This isn’t all that they are trying to implement CRT, LGBTQ philosophy and disability teachings into history into history.

We talked about this before. Math is seen as racist because it is considered objective and that’s a bad thing to the Left. Like if you accept that a man cannot get pregnant, you are being objective and, therefore, a bigot. They believe that math doesn’t have to be objective and there can be right or wrong answers. That showing your work is racist.

They Could Get One at Lowe’s for $20

San Francisco is having a problem. No it’s not crime or drugs or homelessness. It’s not drugs needles on the streets or the cost-of-living being the highest in the country. It’s their aging public trash cans. So they decided to buy some trash can prototypes and lay them across the city. The bought 15 trash cans.

“OK, Gene, so what?” you may be asking me.

They played $300,000 for those 15 trash cans. In case you can’t do the math, and you won’t be able to you is you learned the common core math, is $20,000 a trash can.

Well, good news! The San Francisco Chronicle says that the cans will eventually go down in price to $2000-3000 per can. I may be way off but I think that might be kind of expensive for a trash can.

Public Works acting Director Alaric Degrafinried agreed during the meeting Wednesday that the prototype cost is “a lot.” He said the main reason it’s so expensive is because San Francisco worked with a designer on a custom-made prototype.

Maybe they should save some money and not get designer trash cans. I don’t know if you’ve been to San Francisco recently but it kind of looks like people aren’t using the toilets much like the trash can so I think they could probably get away with some cheaper trash cans.

Olympic Update

Here are some updates on the Olympics. I know you’re not watching them. the viewership is down by almost 40%, the lowest in 33 years. There are many reasons for this:

  • The time change.
  • Social media.
  • People just aren’t watching a lot of television.
  • The constant social justice messaging by the athletes and commentators really is a turn off.

The IOC and other outlets such as the WNBA have taken cues to try to get normal non-Leftist Americans to watch the Olympics. The IOC made a rule that states no one can protest while on the medal stands. The WNBA told its players there not to kneel anymore.

Of course, Lebron James’ company had a comment on that. Pretty sure this reflects Lebron’s thoughts:

“Rule 50 is a rule in the Olympic Charter that bans any kind of demonstration and prohibits any opinionated political, religious or racial propaganda at the Olympic site in 2021.”

“The only time an athlete is able to speak freely is at press conferences and to the media, but not on the Olympic podium when the world is watching. Simply put, we see this as a way of silencing voices, and as advocates for Athlete empowerment, we take a stand against it.”

Lebron James is too busy to be at the Olympics because he is promoting his new movie because he’s so suppressed.

Anyway, here are some of the stories in the actual sports:

  • The Men’s basketball team lost to France. That’s awesome.
  • The Women’s gymnastic team had some issues and started out very slowly. They still have a shot at the gold medal but they’re going to have to tighten up.
  • The United States did have a record setting day, scoring 10 medals including 4 gold. We still trail China by one medal.
  • The US won six medals on the first day of swimming.
  • We won our first medal ever in fencing. Lee Kiefer won a gold medal.

So, I guess white people are making black people beat up Asian people? I guess all those videos we are seeing is a result of the KKK.

Here’s the big problem with his argument is that Asians typically earn more than white people so white supremacy isn’t doing a good job of allowing people of color to be more successful than other white people.

Episode 386 – Dude, They’re Fish

This new January 6th commission is beginning to look like a crock.

More bad news for the Biden administration and the economy.

And, I don’t care what anyone says, sharks suck.

 

Non-Partisan, Huh?

We have this bipartisan January 6th commission coming up started by Nancy Pelosi. Not sure why. There has already been a report released. Well I do know why. Because:

  • January 6th was determined to be a security lapse and Nancy Pelosi.
  • Donald Trump isn’t in the White House and people are beginning to realize he was actually good for the country.
  • Democrats need to demonize anyone who doesn’t agree with them as white supremacist.
  • Leftist policies are killing the country and they are going to get killed in the 2022 elections. This is a last gasp to save Nancy Pelosi’s speakership.

Apparently, this is not going to be as bipartisan as we thought. Well, I never thought this was going to be bipartisan. Pelosi decided to veto the two Republican picks for the committee: Jim Jordan (R-OH) and Jim Banks (R-IND). When asked why she wanted to get rid of those guys, she said:

“Monday evening, the Minority Leader recommended 5 Members to serve on the Select Committee. I have spoken with him this morning about the objections raised about Representatives Jim Banks and Jim Jordan and the impact their appointments may have on the integrity of the investigation. I also informed him that I was prepared to appoint Representatives Rodney Davis, Kelly Armstrong and Troy Nehls, and requested that he recommend two other Members.”

“With respect for the integrity of the investigation, with an insistence on the truth and with concern about statements made and actions taken by these Members, I must reject the recommendations of Representatives Banks and Jordan to the Select Committee.”

That’s not really an answer. What we are hearing from the media is that these two were complicit with the riot. They weren’t. It’s because this is not a bipartisan commission and these two would ask a lot of questions that would embarrass Democrats. Watch, none of the witnesses the Republicans want will be called. Sound familiar?

She had to do this:

  • She is directly to blame for the riot because she did not order extra security even though it was recommended. What about that report?
  • Only one person was killed and it was a Trump supporter (Aslii Babbitt). Who killed her?
  • Who planted the bombs at the RNC and DNC? Was it Antifa or BLM?
  • How many FBI agents were actually there? This might be a bit of a conspiracy theory but it can’t be ignore when combined with the Capitol police letting people into the building.
  • Nobody is getting charged with sedition or treason. Five hundred people are now in jail. Why have these people been in jail for the last 7 months for trespassing?

Bet you a dollar none of these questions are asked.

Nancy said that, now that the committee is bipartisan, by kicking off two Republicans, the committee can proceed.

Jim Banks released the following statement:

“It really made me angry. I served my country in Afghanistan and she is saying that I’m not up to playing a serious role on this Jan. 6 committee.”

“But it just goes to show all along this was never a serious effort on their part, it’s all a political witch hunt. They want to make this all about Donald Trump, dragging Republican members of Congress through the mud and attacking 75 million people that voted for Donald Trump.”

Kevin McCarthy, the House minority leader, said f-it. He pulled all the Republicans from the commission. There is only one Republican left on the commission and I say that with tongue in cheek. She’s, at best, a RINO and, at worst, a Democrat that hates Trump as much as the Left. She’s going to lose her next election in Wyoming anyway.

When asked about the Republicans being kicked off the committee, she said she agreed with what the Speaker did. Of course she did. She hates Trump and, since having her leadership position taken away, she has ceased being a Republican. The beauty of this is she’s going to probably lose all her committee assignments. Good.

That’s Not Good

According from the Department of Labor:

419,000 claims for the week ending on July 17 — an increase in 51,000 from the previous week’s levels that again exceeds economists’ predictions.

I’m going to play conspiracy theorist.

  • I think a lot of people are getting jobs.
  • Most get a signing bonus when they get hired.
  • They realize that waking up early sucks and don’t like it.
  • They realize they are getting paid less than unemployment.
  • They get fired for not doing their job.
  • They go back on unemployment while collecting their signup bonus.

That’s kind of a cynical take but I have become cynical as I’ve gotten older. It also shows that Joe Biden’s policies are destabilizing the economy.

Some Dumb Stories to Round It Out

They’re Coming for Them

The San Francisco Gay Men’s Choir released a video of them singing a song called “We’ll Convert Your Children”. Here it is:

Well, that’s disturbing. It’s also creepy. And it’s kind of catchy.

Of course, I wasn’t the only one that saw this as a rather aggressive move. Conservatives throughout social media and the news media really laid into this group. The San Francisco Gay Men’s Choir said the whole thing was just a parody. A parody for what? I’m not sure. They released the following statement when the controversy reached its peak:

“The far-right conservative media found our ‘Message…’ video and have taken it as their cause. This has all happened in the last 24 hours and it continues to pick up steam.” 

“They have taken the lyrics out of context to support a narrative that suits their intolerant and hateful needs. It is obvious the tongue-in-cheek humor is lost on many.”

“After decades of children being indoctrinated and taught intolerance for anyone who is ‘other,’ from using the Bible as a weapon to reparative therapy, it’s our turn. We have dedicated ourselves to being role models, teaching, and spreading the message of love, tolerance and celebration through our music.”

Just reading that statement makes one understand that this was not parody or tongue-in-cheek humor.

  • Again, what is this song a parody for? If I say, “Great idea! Let’s burn down a city,” that parody because anyone who knows me knows I’m being sarcastic.
  • In their statement, any critic of the song is “far right”.
  • They call all the critics “Intolerant and hateful”. Does that sound like they don’t have a chip on their shoulders?
  • It the last line, they say “it’s our turn” to indoctrinate children to a “message of love, tolerance and celebration through our music.” They actually say they are indoctrinating the kids.
  • Finally, the schools are actually indoctrinating children into the LGBTQ philosophy! Most of TikTok is about pronouns and sexual identity. Where do you think the kids are getting this stuff?

They are trying to indoctrinate our kids. They aren’t hiding the ball. They’re just saying it now.

If It Rips My Leg Off

According to the New York Post:

Marine experts and advocates in Australia are urging the public to refrain from using the word “attack” in reference to sharks, declaring that the majestic predatory fish has been unfairly stigmatized as a deliberate killer.

Instead of calling shark attacks, shark attacks, this group wants them called:

  • Interactions.
  • Negative encounters.
  • Incidents.
  • Or just bites.

Department of Primary Industries in New South Wales (NSW DPI) has decided to follow the guidelines stating:

“NSW DPI is respectful that each incident is best described by the individual involved. DPI generally refers to ‘incidents’ or ‘interactions’ in our formal shark reporting.”

Leonardo Guida, shark researcher at the Australian Marine Conservation Society said that these changes when referring to sharks is important because

“because it helps dispel inherent assumptions that sharks are ravenous, mindless man-eating monsters.”

OK, let me make myself clear and very unwoke here: Sharks are ravenous, mindless man-eating monsters. Why do I say that? They eat cans, license plates, boots, coats, golf balls, tires, video cameras and all sorts of strange things. That makes them pretty mindless and ravenous.

Sharks also eat people. That makes them man-eating.

I’ll stick with shark attacks, thank you very much.
