As a PROUD black man, I see nothing wrong with Sydney Sweeney and American Eagle parading her “good genes/jeans.”

The leftist mob is now melting down over Dunkin’s latest “genetics” ad — just days after Sydney Sweeney’s American Eagle campaign was slammed as so-called Nazi propaganda.
The donut company is the latest to find itself in the liberal firing line after dropping its new commercial featuring “The Summer I Turned Pretty” star Gavin Casalegno earlier this week.
The 30-second clip, which was posted on the chain’s social media accounts, shows the heartthrob gushing that his tan is down to genetics.
Following Sydney Sweeney’s “great jeans” American Eagle ad, Dunkin’ has released a similar campaign featuring Texas-born actor and model Gavin Casalegno.
“I didn’t ask to be the King of Summer… it just kinda’ happened. This tan? Genetics.”
“Look, I didn’t ask to be the king of summer, it just kinda happened,” Casalegno said in the spot. “This tan? Genetics.”
“Can’t help it — every time I drink a Golden Hour Refresher, it’s like the sun just finds me,” he added. “So if sipping these refreshers makes me the king of summer? Guilty as charged.”
The actor was advertising Dunkin’s new summer drinks. The Golden Hour Refresher is a tropical fruit drink mixed with lemonade.
“Why are ads so obsessed with genetics all of a sudden,” one person commented on Dunkin’s video.

Donald Trump continues winning and the media has no idea how to handle it.
Kamala Harris paves the way for a 2028 presidential run.
And when should we and shouldn’t we bring race up as a subject of a story.
News
Here is some news:
Kamala Harris will not run for governor of California.
The Commerce Department said U.S. gross domestic product—the value of all goods and services produced across the economy—rose at a seasonally and inflation adjusted 3% annual rate in the second quarter. That is up from a 0.5% contraction in the first quarter.
Consumer spending, the main engine of the U.S. economy, increased at a 1.4% pace in the second quarter, picking up from the first quarter as a steady labor market underpinned households’ spending power.
But that growth was offset by weaker business spending on buildings and equipment.
Trade alone boosted the second-quarter headline GDP number by nearly 5 percentage points, the most on record going back to 1947, as imports plunged after businesses front-loaded purchases in the first quarter.
US private sector employment rebounded strongly in July with companies adding 104,000 jobs, marking the largest increase since March and far exceeding forecasts of around 75,000 positions
The hiring surge comes after a revised loss of 23,000 jobs in June, reversing what had been the first decline since March 2023.
Annual pay growth remained stable at 4.4% for workers who stayed in their jobs and 7% for those who changed positions.
The Federal Reserve held rates steady for a fifth straight meeting Wednesday but faced rare dissents from two officials seeking an immediate cut.
Trump is pissed. He believes the tariffs will take care of inflation and keeping the interest rates high is unnecessary and interfering with job growth.
Trump wants to replace income taxes with tariffs.
The U.S. and South Korea agreed to a trade pact that will see the U.S. apply 15% tariffs to Korean goods in return for duty-free treatment on many American products, President Trump said Wednesday.
U.S. products won’t be charged a tariff in Korea, the president posted on Truth Social. South Korea would contribute $350 billion for investments “owned and controlled” by the U.S. and a further $100 billion in energy purchases.
President Donald Trump announced Wednesday that he will impose a 25% tariff on Indian goods starting August 1, plus additional unspecified penalties for India’s purchases of Russian oil and military equipment, citing India’s high tariffs on U.S. goods and its role as Russia’s largest energy buyer alongside China.
The move comes after failed trade negotiations and could significantly disadvantage Indian exporters in sectors like electronics, pharmaceuticals, and textiles compared to competitors from Vietnam, Bangladesh, and potentially China.
France, the United Kingdom and Canada have decided to recognize Palestine as a real state.
They are doing it because of the continued war between Hamas and Israel.
Israel has condemned the action.
All other countries, including the United States, have yet to comment.
The Trump administration announced a sweeping proposal Tuesday to rescind the Obama-era “endangerment finding” that has served as the legal foundation for federal climate regulations, marking what EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin called the “biggest deregulatory action in U.S. history”.
The move would eliminate all greenhouse gas emissions standards for vehicles, including the last remaining tailpipe rules targeting carbon pollution from cars and trucks.
The proposal centers on repealing the 2009 endangerment finding, which declared that greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide and methane endanger public health and welfare.
A mass shooting occurred in Midtown Manhattan on the evening of July 28, 2025, at a high-rise office building located at 345 Park Avenue, which houses businesses including Blackstone and the NFL headquarters. The attack resulted in the deaths of four people, including an NYPD officer, with the gunman also dying by suicide. Several others were injured, at least one critically.
Key details:
The shooter has been identified as 27-year-old Shane Devon Tamura from Las Vegas, Nevada.
Tamura arrived in a black BMW and entered the building armed with an M-4 rifle, opening fire in the lobby, immediately killing an off-duty NYPD officer, Didarul Islam, and a woman.
He proceeded to the 33rd floor, firing more shots and killing another person before fatally shooting himself.
In total, four people (two men and two women, including the officer) were killed, and a fifth was critically wounded; four others sustained minor injuries while fleeing.
Tamura left behind a suicide note mentioning grievances with the NFL and claiming to suffer from CTE (chronic traumatic encephalopathy), though an exact motive has not been formally established.
He had a documented mental health history, and authorities are investigating why he chose this location.
There is no indication of accomplices; the shooter acted alone.
The incident caused widespread panic in Midtown Manhattan, leading to a massive police response, lockdown procedures, and temporary traffic and transit disruptions. The crime is one of the city’s deadliest shootings in years and remains under active investigation, with authorities combing through evidence from the suspect’s vehicle and background.
No credible link has been found to external organizations or terrorism; although two people were briefly detained during the chaos, they were determined to be unrelated to the shooting.
Reports of an attack involving two people in downtown Cincinnati over the weekend are accurate, but Cincinnati Police have clarified that the incident was not related to the Cincinnati Music Festival. The violent brawl occurred at around 3 a.m. in the downtown area, during which a man was assaulted by several people—suffering kicks and stomps—while two other men associated with him were also attacked. A woman who attempted to intervene was violently struck and left unconscious.
Authorities have charged five individuals in connection with the assault and are continuing their investigation, with the potential for additional arrests. Cincinnati Police Chief Teresa Theetge emphasized that the fight did not stem from or have ties to the music festival or other major events held the same night. The brawl was described as an isolated, sudden dispute between individuals, not connected to the festival venue or its attendees.
Key Points:
Not linked to Cincinnati Music Festival: The attack occurred in downtown Cincinnati but was unrelated to the festival.
Five people charged: Police have not released names or detailed charges yet, and more arrests may follow.
Victims: A man and a woman (the latter knocked unconscious) were notably harmed during the incident.
Wider context: The event garnered significant online attention; some political figures, including Vice President JD Vance, publicly commented on the violence.
If seeking updates on safety regarding the Cincinnati Music Festival, authorities have reiterated that the festival itself was undisturbed and the isolated street fight should not be considered representative of festival safety or atmosphere.
FATIGUE: Cincinnati Police Chief Terri Theetge justified the release of the ringleader of the black mob that attacked and almost killed a male tourist and a single mother on $400 bond because he was a victim of a bartender who overserved him during the jazz festival. pic.twitter.com/2xaCWeEcpD
Today’s dispatch from the longhouse: fat Cincinnati police chief chastises the media for showing footage of a black mob attacking white people at random.
France has announced it will formally recognize the State of Palestine during the United Nations General Assembly in September 2025, making it the first major Western and G7 country, as well as the largest EU member, to do so. President Emmanuel Macron confirmed the decision publicly and communicated it directly to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.
Key details and context:
Timing and Forum: The formal declaration is planned for September 2025 at the UN General Assembly in New York.
Policy Rationale: Macron framed the step as consistent with France’s historic commitment to a negotiated two-state solution and as a means to keep diplomatic hope alive, despite the ongoing Gaza conflict and deteriorating conditions for Palestinians.
International Standing: Over 140 countries already recognize Palestinian statehood, but France will be unique as the first among the G7 and a permanent UN Security Council member, joining China and Russia in recognition. The US and UK remain opposed, which may further isolate them diplomatically on this issue.
Reaction: Palestinian officials welcomed the decision, regarding it as support for their right to self-determination. Israel strongly condemned the move, with Prime Minister Netanyahu arguing it “rewards terror” after Hamas’s October 2023 attack.
Domestic Implications: France, which has Europe’s largest Jewish and Muslim communities, has long supported a two-state solution, but previous French governments deferred formal recognition.
Potential Impact: Analysts note the decision could generate momentum, encouraging other Western nations to follow suit, but caution it will not alone transform circumstances on the ground for Palestinians in the near-term.
France’s recognition marks a significant diplomatic shift and could move a broader international debate, but the practical impact on peace negotiations and daily realities for Palestinians remains uncertain.
Prime Minister Keir Starmer has announced that the United Kingdom will recognize the State of Palestine at the United Nations General Assembly in September 2025—unless Israel agrees to a ceasefire in Gaza, allows humanitarian aid, and commits to a renewed peace process based on a two-state solution.
Key points:
Recognition Deadline: The UK government plans to officially recognize Palestine in September, aligned with the UN General Assembly, unless substantive changes occur.
Conditions on Israel: Recognition can be delayed if Israel takes “substantive steps” to end the crisis in Gaza, including agreeing to a ceasefire, allowing sustained humanitarian access, and committing to no annexations in the West Bank as part of a long-term path toward a two-state solution.
Conditions on Hamas: Starmer also said Hamas must release all hostages, accept disarmament, and agree to play no role in Gaza’s future government.
International Context: This follows a similar declaration from France, and if both the UK and France proceed, the US would become the only permanent UN Security Council member not recognizing Palestine. Currently, roughly three-quarters of UN member states recognize Palestinian statehood.
Political Pressure: The move comes amid increased pressure from within the Labour Party, as well as international shifts—especially after France’s stated intention to recognize Palestine in September.
Starmer emphasizes that no party (neither Israel nor Palestinian factions) will have a veto over the UK’s decision, which is being driven by the worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the perceived dwindling prospects for a negotiated two-state solution.
The British government will reassess the situation and its conditions ahead of the September UN gathering, and the final decision will depend on the extent to which these conditions have been met.
Israel has reacted with strong condemnation to both England (the UK) and France moving toward recognizing the State of Palestine. Israeli officials have characterized these actions as rewarding terrorism and undermining peace, warning of potentially destabilizing consequences for the Middle East.
Reaction to England (the UK):
High-level Israeli officials have denounced the UK’s planned recognition of Palestine, with statements warning it could undermine regional stability and complicate any negotiated two-state solution. The recognition is broadly seen by Israel as applying international pressure in a way that benefits adversaries and emboldens Palestinian factions, particularly amid ongoing conflict in Gaza.
Reaction to France:
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other top officials have strongly condemned France’s announcement, saying it “rewards terror and risks creating another Iranian proxy, just as Gaza became.” Netanyahu went so far as to say that recognizing a Palestinian state under the current conditions would make it “a launch pad to annihilate Israel—not to live in peace beside it.” Other Israeli officials have criticized the move as “absurd and unserious,” and warned of possible retaliatory measures, including revisiting intelligence-sharing and other aspects of bilateral cooperation.
Israel’s Foreign Minister stated that “a Palestinian state would be a Hamas state,” underscoring deep mistrust of the current Palestinian leadership and process.
Some senior Israeli politicians have even argued that such unilateral recognition by countries like France could force Israel to take actions such as expanding sovereignty or annexing parts of the West Bank.
Summary of Israel’s Position:
Israel sees Western recognition of Palestinian statehood—especially by major powers like England and France—as a dangerous precedent.
Israeli leaders argue it will increase instability, serve as a reward to groups like Hamas, harm the prospects for direct negotiations, and may prompt harsh countermeasures by the Israeli government.
The moves by the UK and France have intensified already strained diplomatic relations, with Israel warning of negative consequences for bilateral ties.

A Big Win!
According to the Post Millennial:
President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday evening that a new trade agreement has been finalized between the United States and Japan, calling it “perhaps the largest Deal ever made.”
In a post on Truth Social, Trump said Japan will invest $550 billion into the US economy and that the United States will receive 90% of the profits from the deal. The president says the agreement would generate “Hundreds of Thousands of Jobs” and significantly expand trade between the two countries.
“We just completed a massive Deal with Japan, perhaps the largest Deal ever made. Japan will invest, at my direction, $550 Billion Dollars into the United States, which will receive 90% of the Profits. This Deal will create Hundreds of Thousands of Jobs — There has never been anything like it. Perhaps most importantly, Japan will open their Country to Trade including Cars and Trucks, Rice and certain other Agricultural Products, and other things. Japan will pay Reciprocal Tariffs to the United States of 15%. This is a very exciting time for the United States of America, and especially for the fact that we will continue to always have a great relationship with the Country of Japan. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” the post reads.
The United States will start requiring a $250 “visa integrity fee” when travelers come to the country and may be paid back when they leave under certain conditions. This comes as the Trump administration has been advancing the president’s agenda to enforce the nation’s border and crack down on illegal immigration.
The fee is part of the recently passed “One Big Beautiful Bill” that Trump signed into law on July 4. The fee may also be reimbursed for travelers who abide by their visa requirements.
A provision of the bill stated, “In addition to any other fee authorized by law, the Secretary of Homeland Security shall require the payment of a fee, equal to the amount” of $250 or “such amount as the Secretary of Homeland Security may establish.”
Travelers may also get their fee back on condition that they comply with the visa conditions, such as “not accept[ing] unauthorized employment” and not overstaying their visa for more than five days.
The fee amount will remain at $250 through fiscal year 2025, however, the fee may be set higher by the DHS secretary. It will also be adjusted for inflation after the fiscal year.
The fee will apply to anyone visiting the US who needs nonimmigrant visas, such as those traveling for work, vacation, or students studying abroad. Some, however, may not need to pay the fee, if they are from certain countries such as Australia, Japan, and many nations in Europe, according to CNBC.
The fee is paid when a visa is issued, and it does not replace other visa fees already in place. The fee will be paid in addition to the “Form I-94 fee,” which has been raised from $6 to $24 by the “One Big Beautiful Bill.”

Uh, No!
According to the Daily Wire:
A bipartisan bill known as the Dignity Act, co-sponsored by Republican and Democrat members of Congress, would grant legal status to millions of illegal aliens and shield them from deportation, sparking a debate over amnesty.
The legislation, introduced by Rep. Maria Salazar (R-FL) and Rep. Veronica Escobar (D-TX), would allow illegal aliens who have been in the U.S. for five years or more without a criminal record to apply for a seven-year legal status and work authorization. To qualify, they would be required to pay taxes and a total of $7,000 in fees over the seven-year period.
The bill provides a separate path for recipients of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. DACA recipients without a criminal record could obtain permanent legal status if they hold a job for four years, earn a degree, or serve in the military, effectively putting them on a pathway to citizenship. In a press conference, Salazar called on President Trump to support the legislation, stating, “If we get this wrong, future generations will pay the price in shame.”
The White House has signaled its opposition. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt suggested the administration views the bill as a form of amnesty, stating, “The President has made it very clear that he will not give amnesty for illegal aliens in any way.” Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem told Morning Wire that while she had not read the bill, President Trump has directed her agency to “uphold federal law” and ensure that “illegal criminals in this country are not going to get priority over Americans.”
Meanwhile, reports indicate that Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) is in discussions with the White House to revive a more hardline immigration bill. That legislation, which passed the House in 2023, would mandate the use of E-Verify for employers and reduce legal immigration by restricting parole and asylum eligibility.

California Governor Gavin Newsom recently struggled to say whether an eight-year-old was too young to undergo transgender procedures.
Newsom’s comments came during a conversation with podcaster Shawn Ryan, the governor’s latest appearance seemingly designed to make him seem more moderate in advance of a likely presidential bid in 2028.
But Newsom, who once said that California was a beacon of parental rights, may want to take a closer look at what his fellow Democrats are doing in the California Assembly.
Earlier this month, lawmakers advanced Assembly Bill 1084, which permits a court-appointed lawyer to assist children in changing the name and sex designation on their birth certificates and obtaining a new birth certificate that can designate them as “non-binary.” If the bill passes, court-appointed lawyers or guardians will be empowered to force these changes even if parents have retained custody of the child in question.
The bill essentially places children in positions of power. All that a child needs to do is make a claim of abuse, whether substantiated or not, against his parents, and he will be assigned an attorney who has been trained to accept a child’s gender identity pronouncement at face value.
Authored by Assemblyman Rick Zbur — who compared people fighting to protect women’s sports to Nazis — the bill is the latest brazen assault on parental rights, another attempt by leftists to replace parents with government agents.
The bill stipulates that, as long as a court rules it “is likely” that the child will remain a ward of the state until they turn 18, court-appointed lawyers have the authority to change the child’s sex and name, as well as their birth certificate. This grants parental rights to third parties, essentially stripping parents of legal control of their child.
In other words, the bill allows a stranger to enable someone else’s child’s desire to “socially transition,” a mental health treatment that is not a neutral act. Children affirmed in their transgender identity are more likely to continue rejecting their sexed bodies if they are confirmed in their delusion.
Parents can contest the petition, but the bill states that a challenge “based solely on concerns that the proposed change is not the petitioner’s actual gender identity or gender assigned at birth shall not constitute good cause.” Simply, a parent who believes in biological reality and does not believe that the child he raised is the sex that he was at birth cannot contest the name and sex change on his birth certificate.
Paranormal investigator Dan Rivera, who’s been touring the United States with a supposedly haunted Raggedy Ann doll named Annabelle, died unexpectedly at a hotel, sparking a big reaction online.
Rivera, 54, was found dead in his room on Sunday at the end of his three-day stop in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, as part of his “Devils on the Run Tour” with the doll.
Pennsylvania State Police shared a more detailed report on Wednesday.
“Members from PSP Gettysburg responded to a hotel in Straban Township, Adams County for a report of a deceased [man],” the report said. “The decedent was discovered in his hotel room by workers.
“Nothing unusual or suspicious was observed at the scene,” it added. “This case is pending autopsy results.”
The New England Society for Psychic Research (NESPR) described this particular doll as “demonically possessed.” It was given to a nursing student in 1968, and she claimed that something wasn’t right with it.
“Almost immediately, the roommates noticed strange occurrences with the doll and they were introduced to a medium who told them the doll was inhabited by the spirit of a young girl named Annabelle,” the organization reported. “The two roommates tried to accept the doll’s spirit and please it only to have it reciprocate maliciousness and violent intent.”
The society’s late founders, Ed and Lorraine Warren, kept the doll stored in a glass case in an effort to “contain the evil spirited entity.”
The movie “The Conjuring” is based on the story of the “haunted” doll Annabelle. Meanwhile, many people are skeptical of the claims that the doll is possessed.
An off-duty U.S. Customs and Border Protection officer was shot in the face after being robbed by a moped-riding illegal immigrant in a New York City park on Saturday — but he shot back and wounded his attacker, according to sources.
The suspect has been identified as Miguel Francisco Mora Nunez, a 21-year-old Dominican national with a lengthy rap sheet in New York according to sources — but he was let go each time he was busted, despite having a deportation order.
Mora entered the US illegally via the southern border under the Biden admin, the Department of Homeland Security said Sunday.
The 42-year-old federal agent and a female companion were sitting on a rock along the Hudson River in Fort Washington Park in Manhattan when they were ambushed by the two men on a moped around 11:50 p.m., according to police sources.
After a brief exchange and tussle, one of the moped-riding men fired a gun and hit the victim in the face and left forearm.
The agent then drew his own pistol and fired multiple shots at the perps, hitting the suspect.
Mora was struck and wounded three times by the return gunfire, sources said.
Harrowing video released by DHS caught one suspect hopping off the moped and approaching the CBP officer before firing shots at him — then reeling back after the officer returned fire. The suspects eventually fled on the moped, the video showed.
An illegal immigrant from Mexico has been charged with faking her own “kidnapping” by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to generate donations. LA Mayor Karen Bass also promoted the claims.
According to a DOJ press release on the case, Yuriana Julia Pelaez Calderon, 41, who has been living in South Los Angeles, has been charged with conspiracy as well as making false statements to federal officers. If convicted of the charges, she can face up to five years in prison.
The charges come after local outlet in California, KTLA, ran a report in June with the headline “LA mother says she was taken to US border, being held until she self-deports,” in which the outlet reported that “loved ones and attorneys” said that a “mother and community leader” was “kidnapped” by ICE “bounty hunters” and was being held at a warehouse.
LA Mayor Karen Bass on July 1 touted Calderon’s tall tale of being “kidnapped” in a post to X. “She’s a mother from L.A. — taken out of her car on her way to work, and then held in a warehouse as officers hoped she would “self-deport.” No hearing. Just fear. This doesn’t make anyone safer,” Bass wrote, citing KTLA’s report.
A press conference and protest were held at the time the claims were made, and images of the gathering were spread across different news outlets.
At the time, DHS responded to the story, saying that it was “clearly fabricated.” Fox News reported that the criminal complaint against Calderon said that she and others “planned a hoax kidnapping” to benefit themselves, “including their own pecuniary gain.” A GoFundMe page was set up by Calderon’s daughter, who managed to raise $4,500 and claimed that her mother was “taken by masked men in an unmarked vehicle.”
After the daughter filed a missing person report, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) determined that Calderon was not in ICE custody and launched its own investigation into the matter, only to find out that “kidnapping” did not add up.
The affidavit added, “when confronted with true information that contradicted their kidnapping story,” Calderon and others “attempted to thwart law enforcement efforts” to find out where she was.
HSI Los Angeles Special Agent in Charge Eddy Wang slammed the scheme, saying, “My office invested valuable time and resources working this alleged kidnapping investigation only to discover that it was a hoax.”
“Diverting critical law enforcement resources is not only reckless and irresponsible, but it also endangers the community,” Wang added. “The real cost of a fraud like this is the amount of fentanyl not seized, child predators not removed from the communities and human trafficking victims not rescued because law enforcement redirected resources to recover the defendant. We want to assure the public that allegations of criminal activity will be thoroughly investigated by HSI and our law enforcement partners and that those who engage in fraud and deception will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”
The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California by state Atty. Gen. Rob Bonta, comes one day after the Federal Railroad Administration pulled $4 billion from the project that was intended for construction in the Central Valley. The suit seeks declaratory and injunctive relief and challenges the legality of the decision.
The lawsuit calls the administration’s actions “arbitrary and capricious, an abuse of discretion, and contrary to law, and threatens to wreak significant economic damage on the Central Valley, the State, and the Nation.” It names Department of Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy and acting FRA Administrator Drew Feeley as defendants and details President Trump’s “personal animus” toward the project and long-standing criticism of it. Trump previously pulled funding from the train during his first term.
The suit calls the president’s past statements over the project’s budget as untrue. The project is about $100 billion over budget from its original proposal of $33 billion. Trump previously said it was “hundreds of billions of dollars” more.
“Trump’s termination of federal grants for California high-speed rail reeks of politics.” Gov. Gavin Newsom said in a statement Thursday. “It’s yet another political stunt to punish California. In reality, this is just a heartless attack on the Central Valley that will put real jobs and livelihoods on the line. We’re suing to stop Trump from derailing America’s only high-speed rail actively under construction.”
The fast train to connect San Francisco to Los Angeles was originally expected to be completed in 2020. But while the entire route was environmentally cleared last year, no portion of the line has been finished and construction has been underway only in the Central Valley. The Trump administration initiated a compliance review in February after Republican lawmakers called for an investigation into the project and demanded that it be defunded.
Some things:
2008: California voters approved Proposition 1A, authorizing funds and plans for the state’s high-speed rail (HSR) system, originally targeting completion in 2018.
The initial vision set a price tag of $33 billion for a full system linking San Francisco and Los Angeles in under three hours.
2015: Construction started on the Central Valley segment, running from Merced to Bakersfield—a stretch intended as the project’s Initial Operating Segment (IOS).
2024: Substantial completion of one of the major construction packages in the Central Valley, while right-of-way acquisition for the Merced and Bakersfield extensions advances.
2030-2033: The Merced to Bakersfield portion will be complete (about 164 miles).
The rest of Phase 1 (San Francisco-Anaheim, ~494 miles) does not have a fully funded or fixed completion date. Tentative goals are set for environmental clearance, design, and gradual construction of other sections, such as Gilroy-Palmdale, with possible completion by 2045—dependent on funding and private investment.
Phase 2 would eventually extend service north to Sacramento and south to San Diego, but there is currently no timeline for these extensions.
Some math:
It will take 18 years to complete 164 miles for Phase 1. That’s 33% of Phase 1.
With that pace, it would take 54 years to complete the 494 miles of Phase 1.
I will not even go into the price tag. I would need quantum computing to figure that one out.
Phase 1 would take 72 years to complete!
It’s about 514 miles from San Diego to Sacramento which is Phase 2. That’s another 56 years.
Forget about the cost.
Phase 1 and 2 would take 128 years to complete!
Phase 3 is suppose to be from the Mexican border to San Francisco. I’m just going to say that’s not going to happen.
Maybe California is not getting that $4 billion.
What is worse for California, they are going to have to explain why they are so far behind and where did that $133 billion go.
Donald Trump signs a couple of big bills into laws. More wins.
Late night television loses a “celebrated icon.” At least that’s what the media is calling him.
And another conspiracy theory sounds like it is true. I have some ideas on what we need to do.
News
Here is some news:
President Trump is suing The Wall Street Journal for libel following a report on his alleged relationship with Jeffrey Epstein and has now called for the release of related grand jury testimony.
The House passed the GENIUS Act Thursday in a 308-122 vote, with more than 100 Democrats joining most Republicans to advance the legislation. The bill, which establishes the first federal regulatory framework for stablecoins, is expected to be signed into law as early as today at a White House ceremony.
A stablecoin is a type of cryptocurrency designed to maintain a stable value by pegging its price to an external reference asset, such as a fiat currency (like the U.S. dollar), a commodity (such as gold), or another financial instrument.
President Donald Trump has signed a bill enacting $9 billion in federal spending cuts, primarily targeting public broadcasting (including PBS and NPR) and foreign aid initiatives.
About $1.1 billion is eliminated for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which includes funding for PBS, NPR, and their affiliates.
Nearly $8 billion is cut from a range of foreign aid programs, primarily those operated by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
Vote margins: The House approved the bill 216–213, with all Democrats and two Republicans voting against it. The Senate passed its version 51–48, largely along party lines.
The Senate removed a proposed $400 million cut to the global PEPFAR AIDS program, softening the total from Trump’s original $9.4 billion proposal to $9 billion.
Yeah, It Was Trump
According to the Daily Wire:
CBS will pull the plug on late-night comedian Stephen Colbert’s “The Late Show” next year in a “purely financial decision,” the network announced on Thursday.
Colbert’s late-night comedy news show will air its final episode in May 2026, according to a statement released by CBS. The announcement marked the end of a nearly 11-year run Colbert has had hosting “The Late Show,” which first began in 1993 under former host David Letterman.
The network said that it is scrapping “The Late Show” franchise and will not move on to another host after Colbert.
“We consider Stephen Colbert irreplaceable and will retire ‘THE LATE SHOW’ franchise at that time. We are proud that Stephen called CBS home. He and the broadcast will be remembered in the pantheon of greats that graced late night television,” CBS said in a statement.
“This is purely a financial decision against a challenging backdrop in late night. It is not related in any way to the show’s performance, content or other matters happening at Paramount,” it continued.

Watch Annie Tomasini, former Assistant to the President and Deputy Director of Oval Office Operations, plead the fifth to every question.
All these people should be given immunity so they have to testify.
But the corruption goes much deeper. According to the Daily Wire:
Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard declassified documents Friday revealing that the Obama administration changed intelligence assessments after the 2016 election to create a narrative of Russian interference, despite earlier intelligence community findings that Russia “did not impact” the election through cyber activities.
The intelligence community concluded before the election that Russia was “probably not trying … to influence the election by using cyber means,” according to the declassified records obtained by Fox News. However, following Trump’s unexpected victory over Hillary Clinton, their tone appeared to have changed.
“On Dec 8, 2016, IC officials prepared an assessment for the President’s Daily Brief, finding that Russia ‘did not impact recent U.S. election results’ by conducting cyber attacks on infrastructure,” Gabbard wrote in a thread on X. “Before it could reach the President, it was abruptly pulled ‘based on new guidance.’ This key intelligence assessment was never published.”
The presidential brief prepared for President Obama on December 8, 2016, stated: “We assess that Russian and criminal actors did not impact recent US election results by conducting malicious cyber activities against election infrastructure,” noting that any Russian activities “probably were intended to cause psychological effects, such as undermining the credibility of the election process and candidates.”
The brief concluded that it was “highly unlikely” Russian interference “would have resulted in altering any state’s official vote result.”
“Criminal activity also failed to reach the scale and sophistication necessary to change election outcomes,” it stated.
The FBI raised immediate objections to the brief and requested that its publication be delayed until the bureau could address its concerns. Under then-Director James Comey, the FBI drafted a formal “dissent” to the original briefing.
Subsequently, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence postponed internal publication of the Presidential Daily Brief, citing “new guidance” as the reason for the delay.
Just one day later, on December 9, a meeting was called in the White House Situation Room to discuss Russian election interference with top officials, including then-CIA Director John Brennan, then-National Security Advisor Susan Rice, then-Secretary of State John Kerry, and then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch.
Following this meeting, then-Director of National Intelligence James Clapper threw out the old analysis and tasked intelligence leaders with crafting a new assessment “per the president’s request,” detailing “tools Moscow used and actions it took to influence the 2016 election.”
Gabbard revealed: “According to whistleblower emails shared with us today, we know Clapper and Brennan used the baseless discredited Steele Dossier as a source to push this false narrative in the intelligence assessment.”
Intelligence sources told Fox News the new report “was based on information that was known by those involved to be manufactured i.e. the Steele Dossier or deemed as not credible,” and the CIA had previously dismissed it as filled with “internet rumor[s].”
By January 6, 2017, a new Intelligence Community Assessment was released that “directly contradicted the IC assessments that were made throughout the previous six months,” the ODNI office told Fox News.
Intelligence officials told Fox News they consider the assessment to have been blatantly “politicized” after it “suppressed intelligence from before and after the election showing Russia lacked intent and capability to hack the 2016 election.”
“The information we are releasing today clearly shows there was a treasonous conspiracy in 2016 committed by officials at the highest level of our government,” Gabbard told Fox News. “Their goal was to subvert the will of the American people and enact what was essentially a years-long coup with the objective of trying to usurp the President from fulfilling the mandate bestowed upon him by the American people.”
“No matter how powerful, every person involved in this conspiracy must be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, to ensure nothing like this ever happens again,” Gabbard said. “The American people’s faith and trust in our democratic republic and therefore the future of our nation depends on it.”
Gabbard concluded: “As such, I am providing all documents to the Department of Justice to deliver the accountability that President Trump, his family, and the American people deserve.”
Someone over the last 15 years needs to be arrested, perp-walked, tried, convicted, and serve the rest of their lives in prison.
Democrats did the same thing in New York and California.
This Ain’t Going Anywhere
According to ABC7 News:
Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum on Tuesday said her administration was considering the possibility of filing a legal complaint over the death of a migrant who fell to his death during an immigration raid at a cannabis farm in Camarillo.
Jaime Alanís Garcia was hospitalized and later died after falling off a roof during an Immigration and Customs Enforcement raid in Camarillo.
Garcia was not in custody. He was on top of a roof of a greenhouse and fell while he was trying to get away from ICE.
“Jaime was not just a farmworker, he was a provider, and a human being who deserved dignity. His death is not an isolated tragedy. It is the result of a targeted raid at Glass House Farms. Workers were met not with protection, but with chaos and fear. Some were detained. Others were traumatized. Jaime lost his life,” the family posted on social media.
There were a few reasons for the raid:
The entire farm was run by illegal aliens.
It was a pot farm which is illegal federally and illegal in Mexico.
Roman Izquierdo (Mexico): Convictions for kidnapping, attempted rape, and attempted child molestation; previously deported in 2006
Juan Duarte-Velasquez (Mexico): Convicted of rape and DUI
Jose Orellana (El Salvador): Convicted of DUI and hit-and-run
Adriana Gonzalez-Gonzalez (Mexico): Convicted three times for burglary and DUI
361 illegal aliens were arrested.
14 under age children illegally in this country were arrested and probably trafficked. 10 of the children were unaccompanied.
Federal agents clashed with protesters during the immigration raid at the farm in Ventura County, one of at least two large-scale raids in Southern California on July 10.
Garcia’s family said he fell about 30 feet off a building while he was possibly trying to run from federal agents. Garcia suffered a broken neck and skull.
“We are supporting the family, we are in contact with them, and we’re also exploring the possibility of filing a complaint (in the U.S.) because this is unacceptable,” Sheinbaum said at a Tuesday press conference. “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is currently reviewing the matter. It is very unfortunate that this happened. All our solidarity and support go to the family, and there must not be another case like this one. That’s why the complaint must be filed in the courts over there.”
We should probably file a complaint about those people being in the country in the first place.
The Department of Homeland Security said he was not being pursued by law enforcement when he fell.
“This man was not in and has not been in CBP or ICE custody. Although he was not being pursued by law enforcement, this individual climbed up to the roof of a green house and fell 30 feet,” said DHS Public Affairs Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin. “CBP immediately called a medivac to the scene to get him care as quickly as possible.”
Since June 6, 435 people have been repatriated from the U.S. to Mexico. Between Jan. 20 and July 14, 1,427 people have been deported to Mexico “specifically due to raids,” Sheinbaum said.
Including all repatriations to Mexico during that period, the total is 75,341 people: 68,790 Mexican nationals and 6,551 foreigners.

Omar Fateh, who wants to be the next mayor of Minneapolis, says immigrants are not a domestic threat but white people are.
This is the fourth time she has been called out for racial statements. She once got called out by a black man.
It just shows how casually anti-white racism is used by the Left and CNN supports it.
White people are not suppose to call this out because we are not allowed. Why? We’re racist if we don’t acknowledge the pain of the other races because slavery was legal 140 years ago.
The problem the Left has is we are getting over the white guilt.

He Should Be Happy He’s Still Alive
According to Reduxx:
A trans-identified male serving 40 years for a brutal 2013 murder is suing the Kentucky Department of Corrections over a new law banning public funding for cross-sex hormones and surgeries. Matthew Smith, who now goes by the name Maddilyn Marcum, was convicted of stabbing Eric Schreiber 72 times and slitting his throat.
The class-action lawsuit was filed July 14 by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Kentucky and, in addition to Smith, represents 67 other transgender inmates who will no longer receive hormones or surgeries on the public dime following the passage of a bill prohibiting taxpayer funds from being used for “gender-affirming care.”
Senate Bill 2 (SB-2), which was signed into law at the end of March, relegates medical “gender” interventions to “cosmetic service or elective procedure[s].”
The bill defines unnecessary interventions as “any procedure, treatment, or surgery to enhance or alter the appearance of any area of the head, neck, and body, including… [p]rescribing or administering cross-sex hormones in amounts greater than would normally be produced endogenously in a healthy person of the same age and sex.”
SB-2 further states that “public funds shall not be directly or indirectly used, granted, paid, or distributed for the purpose of providing a cosmetic or elective procedure to an inmate in a correctional facility.” The law came into effect on June 27 this year.
Representing the 68 convicted criminals, the ACLU argues that “reducing, terminating, or withholding HRT care violates the Eighth and Fourteenth Amendments to the United States Constitution.” The Eighth Amendment bars “cruel and unusual punishment” of incarcerated inmates, while the Fourteenth Amendment – instituted to address the treatment of those who were formerly enslaved – prevents states from infringing on citizens’ privileges without due process.
According to the complaint, Smith was given a diagnosis of gender dysphoria in 2009, at which point he began taking “estrogen and anti-androgens to feminize the body” in the four years leading up to the crime for which he is incarcerated. The ACLU refers to gender dysphoria as a “serious medical condition,” citing Standards of Care created by the controversial activist group the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH).
The X post by Libs of TikTok highlights a concerning incident involving Zayn Edward Arcand, a 19-year-old from Iron Mountain, Michigan, who was arrested for allegedly attempting to burn down the Dickinson County Republican Committee headquarters with a Molotov cocktail.
This act of violence is part of a broader pattern of political extremism, as Arcand admitted to the act as a message against perceived corruption, reflecting a dangerous intersection of personal identity and political ideology.
BREAKING: MORE TRANS VIOLENCE
Zayn Edward Arcand a “genderfluid, polyamorous sometimes female” person was just arrested for allegedly trying to BURN DOWN Dickinson County, MI Republican Committee headquarters
Arcand’s self-identification as “genderfluid, polyamorous sometimes female” underscores a complex personal identity that has been thrust into the public eye due to the criminal act. This incident raises questions about the mental health and stability of individuals who engage in such extreme behaviors, especially when their personal identities are publicly scrutinized.
The event occurred on July 12, 2025, and has been met with strong condemnation from political figures, such as Michigan Republican Party Chair Jim Runestad, who labeled Arcand as “a liberal Antifa scumbag.”
This reaction points to a polarized political climate where acts of violence are quickly attributed to broader ideological conflicts, potentially overshadowing the individual’s mental health issues. The incident also aligns with broader discussions on the rise of political violence and the need for mental health interventions, as evidenced by increasing concerns about violence against marginalized communities, such as the transgender community in Pakistan, reported around the same time.
The Los Angeles Times and the media have made fools of themselves once again. This time, they seem to be lying to protect slavery and child exploitation.
Let’s see what they are saying.
Time to Defend Slave Labor
According to the L.A. Times:
The crowd outside Glass House Farms in Camarillo in the wake of Thursday’s chaotic immigration sweep was a strange mix.
There were vocal protesters hurling insults and sometimes water bottles at federal agents, and there were anxious friends and family of those who work at Glass House, a huge cannabis operation. Then there were curious bystanders like Mike Elliott, a Camarillo resident who voted for President Trump and stopped to see what was happening, saying he wanted to bear witness. Also on hand was Oxnard native Christina Muñoz, who said she brought her 2-year-old son, 5-month-old daughter and her mom in hopes of getting a glimpse of her husband, a member of the National Guard whom she hadn’t seen in 30 days.
Federal agents raided two Glass House Farms sites on Thursday, said Maria Navarro, an Oxnard policy advocate for the Central Coast Alliance United for a Sustainable Economy (CAUSE). The organization was alerted at 10:20 a.m. that sweeps were happening at both California locations of the company, in Carpinteria and Camarillo.
She hurried to the Camarillo site, where she came upon a tense scene, with protesters gathering and family members of workers trying to pick up their loved ones. But federal agents had already closed off access to the worksite. More and more people arrived, and Navarro said activists were trying to prevent trucks full of detainees from leaving.
At the east entrance to the Camarillo facility, amid lush fields of blooming bush beans, the action started about 10 a.m. when federal agents entered the facility. Protesters and worried family began arriving soon afterward, and by 2:30 p.m., a line of about 30 agents, including National Guard members, was barricading nearby Laguna Road.
The growing crowd was kept at least a quarter of a mile away from the facility. Protesters said that some people among the crowd had been detained. Jonathan Caravello, a philosophy professor at Cal State Channel Islands, was arrested, according to activist Angelmarie Taylor, who said she was one of his students and had accompanied him to the protest.
Taylor claimed Caravello was arrested as he tried to help a man in a wheelchair when agents were pushing the crowd to move back.
She said he and another individual “were piled on by multiple agents all at once” before being taken behind a line of agents to where several vehicles stood, “and we have no idea now where they are.”
As the sweep was underway, 24-year-old Cesar Ortiz spoke to a Times photographer outside Glass House Farms.
He said he had a brother inside the facility who had only begun working there a week ago.
“They are taking everyone and the truth is it’s not right because these people come to work, struggle every day, to earn for bread every day.
“There are no narcos here,” he said, “no one is armed here and they come fully armed, full of military personnel.”
Ortiz said he had been in communication with his brother, who he feared would be deported. He said authorities had his brother in a container. People “are [choking] in there with the air, without air-conditioned air.”
He also had a message for Trump: “We all have a right to come here and work. Here, we all have a dream, we have to give it our all.”
Marc Cohodes, an investor and famed short-seller who has invested in Glass House, called the raid “beyond outrageous.” He added that Glass House is “the largest cannabis cultivator in the world” and “a highly regulated business fully licensed by the state of California. It’s run by a guy named Kyle Kazan, who is an ex-cop who plays by the rules and does things by the book.” Kazan, he added, is also a supporter of Trump.
Glass House Farms posted a statement on X on Thursday saying that the company had been “visited today by ICE officials” and “fully complied with agent search warrants.” The statement said nothing else, except to add that the company would “provide further updates if necessary.”
Ambulances were seen going in and out of the Camarillo facility, and Cohodes said as many as 14 people were injured in the action and taken to hospitals.
As the protest heated up, some members of the crowd shouted obscenities at agents. When gas canisters were fired, a few hurled water bottles before running away from the fumes. One woman on a megaphone pleaded with the officers to leave their posts and join the protesters so they could be on the right side of history.
But off to the side, Ricardo Mojica, a tall, silver-haired grandfather, quietly tried to talk to agents to find out what was happening with his son, who worked inside.
Mojica said his 31-year-old son “has no criminal records, he has never been arrested and was born just six miles from here at St. John’s Hospital. He’s the father of my granddaughter, and I haven’t heard anything from him since this morning.”
Mojica pointed to one of the Border Patrol guards and said, ‘He told me my son was being detained, but then his partner told him not to talk to me. I just want to know why he’s being held.”
Around 4:30 p.m. Oxnard native Christina Muñoz held her 2-year-old son on her hip as she strained to catch a glimpse of her husband, Christopher, a National Guardsman who she heard had been deployed that day from Los Angeles to the factory raid. Her mother stood nearby holding Christina’s infant daughter.
“I haven’t seen him for 30 days,” Muñoz said, “and I was hoping I could see him here.”
She and her children have been staying with her family in Oxnard since her husband was deployed.
“We thought it would be for just a few days,” she said, “but we didn’t see him for Father’s Day or the Fourth of July. We had no idea it would last this long.”
“He’s needed at home,” Muñoz’s mother said, as she bounced the baby in her arms. “His family needs him.”
Off to the side of the protesters, David Elliott stood watching the scene with a beer in one hand and a small six-pack cooler in the other.
“I’m out of beer,” he joked. The Camarillo resident said he had been heading for the beach, “but I got caught up in all the traffic and I thought, ‘You know what? I’m going to hang out here and see what happens.’”
Elliott said he supports law enforcement and Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and he voted for Donald Trump to be president, but he doesn’t like what’s happening now with the immigration sweeps.
“I voted for Trump because he said he was going to go after the bad guys, and I know they’re there, but I don’t like what they’re doing now …. going after people at Home Depot or farmworkers in the fields.
“These are hardworking people — my gardener and his crew started working for my parents 20 years ago and now they work for me, and they’re illegal; they’re not bad people, they’re like family, and a lot of us depend on the work they do.
“I voted for Trump to clean out the bad guys first and then start working on a system to get the farmworkers and gardeners, but there’s got to be a better way. There should be a way to integrate them into our system because they work harder than anyone I know.”
There were a few things left out of this article:
Pot is still federally illegal.
Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem confirmed on X that 319 unlawful immigrants were apprehended during the raid at Glass House Farms.
Law enforcement rescued 14 children from potential forced labor, exploitation, and trafficking.
8 of the children were unaccompanied. This means they were probably trafficked.
One man (Roman Izquierda) taken into custody has a history of violent crime, including attempted child exploitation including a 7 year sentence for kidnapping & attempted rape, w/ a prior conviction for attempted child molestation.
Another illegal alien (Juan Duarte-Velasquez) was wanted for DUI and Rape.
Jose Orellana was convicted of felonet DUI and Hit-and-run.
Adriana Gonzalez-Gonzalez was convicted three times for burglary and DUI.
Glass House Farms is under investigation for possible child labor law violations.
The company’s co-founder, president and board director, Graham Farrar, donated $10,000 to California Gov. Gavin Newsom in 2018, among other Democratic politicians. He has also donated to Republicans, and shown support for Republicans who expressed support for liberalizing cannabis laws.
The protestors threw rocks and bottles at ICE vehicles as they were leaving.
On individual is wanted for shooting a gun at ICE agents. There is a $50,000 reward for information leading to his capture.
Agents claim that Jonathan Caravello was arrested for allegedly throwing a tear gas canister at law enforcement officers
The same people who endlessly bring up January 6 to shame Republicans are now cheering on both foreign and domestic terrorists who shoot at, attack, and injure law enforcement.
An irate Trump took to his Truth Social platform to blast the protesters, and authorize ICE to take whatever precautions are necessary to protect themselves during future raids.
“I am on my way back from Texas, and watched in disbelief as THUGS were violently throwing rocks and bricks at ICE Officers while they were moving down a roadway in their car and/or official vehicle,” he said.
Trump continued with a social media post:
“Tremendous damage was done to these brand new vehicles. I know for a fact that these Officers are having a hard time with allowing this to happen in that it shows such total disrespect for LAW AND ORDER.
“I am giving Total Authorization for ICE to protect itself, just like they protect the Public,” he wrote. “I never want to see a car carrying a Law Enforcement Officer attacked again! AUTHORIZATION IMMEDIATELY GRANTED FOR ARREST AND INCARCERATION. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

Mayor Karen Bass announced a plan Friday to provide direct cash assistance to people who have been affected by the Trump administration’s sweeping immigration raids.
The aid will be distributed using cash cards with a “couple hundred” dollars on them, which should be available in about a week, Bass said at a news conference.
“You have people who don’t want to leave their homes, who are not going to work, and they are in need of cash,” she said.
Bass spoke about a family she met who needed two incomes to afford their rent. After one of the breadwinners was detained in an immigration raid, she said, the family is concerned they may face eviction.
It was not immediately clear what the qualifications will be needed to receive the cards.
The mayor emphasized that the money will not come from city coffers but from philanthropic partners. The cards will be distributed by immigrants rights groups such as the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles.
The city will coordinate between philanthropists and organizations distributing the cards, according to the mayor’s office.
The Left doesn’t even wait for the victims of the Texas flood to be found before they go out and blame Trump and racism for the flood. Turns out both claims are asinine.
An argument for gun control comes from an unlikely source after a shooting in Philadelphia and the argument is about as coherent as all the other arguments.
And the violence is escalating from the hard Left.
Of Course It’s His Fault
The Department of Homeland Security put out its own thread, which stated:
The mainstream media is deliberately lying about the events leading up to the catastrophic flooding in Texas. The National Weather Service executed timely, precise forecasting and warnings, despite unprecedented rainfall overwhelming the region. Here is the timeline of NWS’s proactive response:
Morning, July 3rd: NWS Austin/San Antonio conducts forecast briefings for emergency management, flagging flash flood risks. Morning, July 3rd: National Water Center issues Flood Hazard Outlook, identifying flash flood potential for Kerrville and surrounding areas. 1:18 PM, July 3rd: NWS issues Flood Watch for Kerr County, effective through Friday morning. 6:10 PM, July 3rd: Weather Prediction Center issues first of three Mesoscale Precipitation Discussions, warning of excessive rainfall and flash flood potential. 6:22 PM, July 3rd: National Water Center warns of considerable flooding risks north and west of San Antonio, including Kerrville. 11:41 PM, July 3rd: First Flash Flood Warning issued for Bandera County.
1:14 AM, July 4th: Flash Flood Warning with “Considerable” tag issued for Bandera and Kerr Counties, triggering Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEAs) and NOAA Weather Radio notifications. 4:03 AM, July 4th: Flash Flood Warning upgraded to Flash Flood Emergency for south-central Kerr County, including Hunt. 4:35 AM, July 4th: Kerr County Sheriff’s Office reports flooding at low water crossings, 201 minutes (over 3 hours) after the 1:14 AM warning. 5:00 AM, July 4th: National Water Center warns of widespread considerable and catastrophic flooding. 5:34 AM, July 4th: Flash Flood Emergency issued for the Guadalupe River, signaling a “large and deadly flood wave.”
The National Weather Service provided over 12 hours of advance notice via the Flood Watch and over 3 hours of lead time for Flash Flood Warnings, with escalated alerts as the storm intensified.

This Is What a Civil War Will Look Like
According to Fox News:
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and other federal law enforcement officers conducting immigration enforcement have been targeted in at least two ambushes in Texas in recent days.
The Justice Department on Monday named 10 individuals charged with shooting a police officer in the neck and opening fire on other correctional officers outside the Prairieland Detention Center in Alvarado, Texas, on the Fourth of July. The group, donning all black, allegedly first began shooting fireworks at the facility, which is being used by the Department of Homeland Security to hold people related to immigration violations or awaiting deportation.
The defendants are Cameron Arnold, also known as Autumn Hill; Savannah Batten; Nathan Baumann; Zachary Evetts; Joy Gibson; Bradford Morris, also known as Meagan Morris; Maricela Rueda; Seth Sikes; Elizabeth Soto; and Ines Soto. The complaint charges each of them with three counts of attempted murder of a federal officer and three counts of discharging a firearm during, in relation to and in furtherance of a violent crime.
Approximately 10 minutes after convening at the ICE facility, one or two individuals broke off from the main group and began to spray graffiti on vehicles and a guard structure in the parking lot, authorities said. Photos included in the criminal complaint, filed in the Northern District of Texas, show vehicles tagged with the messages “ICE pig” and “F— you pigs.” Correction officers dialed 911 and an Alvarado police officer responded to the scene.
Immediately after the officer got out of his vehicle, one defendant positioned in nearby woods allegedly shot the officer in the neck, according to the complaint. Another assailant, wearing a green mask and standing across the street, then allegedly fired 20 to 30 rounds at unarmed correctional officers who had stepped outside the facility.
“The shooting was captured by both CCTV and the APD officer’s body-worn camera,” the complaint says.
The FBI recovered AR-style rifles from the scene. The group fled from the detention center separately – some on foot, some in vehicles – and were later stopped by other law enforcement officers. The complaint notes that the defendants were “dressed in black, military-style clothing,” some were wearing body armor, some were armed, and some had two-way radios.
Prosecutors said a total of twelve sets of body armor were found during searches of vehicles associated with the defendants, on their persons, and in the area around the Prairieland Detention Center. Law enforcement also found spray paint, magazines containing ammunition and flyers stating, “FIGHT ICE TERROR WITH CLASS WAR!” and “FREE ALL POLITICAL PRISONERS.” A flag was found that read, “RESIST FASCISM – FIGHT OLIGARCHY.”

Alligator Alcatraz is almost up and running and will hold some of the most dangerous illegal aliens in the country until they get deported. I have a story about one.
Alligator Alcatraz is not only going to break illegal aliens hopes of a pleasant life in the United States, it has broken a bunch of low-IQ individuals on the Left.
And Republicans sure know how to lose a sure bet.
Grasping Defeat from the Jaws of Victory
According to the Daily Wire:
Speaker Mike Johnson has President Donald Trump’s signature bill at the finish line.
During a marathon overnight session that at times appeared doomed, Republicans voted 219-213 at about 3:30 a.m. to send the bill to a final vote.
The late hour was not due to procedure, but rather indecision on the Republican side of the aisle. After five Republicans voted against the rule to proceed, coupled with a handful of Republicans who were holding out, Johnson had to scramble to not only find votes, but also get Republicans to switch theirs.
Just before midnight, Johnson said he would hold the vote open for as long as it needed, and started to whip votes, with a helping hand from Trump.
We are waiting for the final vote, but leave it to Democrats to stall. Hakeem Jeffries has decided to use his right to use the “magic minute” that allows him to filibuster about the bill.
The “magic minute” is a right that the leaders have a house to make a speech as long as he wants about the bill. Basically, it’s a filibuster.
Hakeem Jeffries walked into the chambers at about 5 AM with three large binders and he started. He has been talking ever since and is not expected to stop until some time this afternoon.
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem on Tuesday shared a disturbing tale of an illegal immigrant, which she said underscored the importance of the Trump administration’s deportation efforts.
“The other day I was talking to some marshals who had been partnering with ICE,” Noem said. “They said they had detained a cannibal and put him on a plane to take him home and while they had him in his seat he started to eat himself, and they had to get him off and get him medical attention.”
“You know, what bothered me the most is that this U.S. Marshal just said it like it was normal,” Noem said in an interview with FOX News. “He said he was literally eating his own arms. That is what he did. He called himself a cannibal and ate other people and ate himself that day.”
“These are the kind of deranged individuals that are on our streets in America that we’re trying to target,” Noem added.” We’re trying to get them out of our country because they are so deranged they don’t belong here.”
The secretary then slammed news outlets that “lie every single day about what these operations are.”
“We are going after murderers and rapists and traffickers and drug dealers and getting them off the streets, and getting them out of this country because Joe Biden let the worst of the worst come in here.”
“They shouldn’t be walking the streets with our children. And they shouldn’t be living in communities with our families who just want to raise their children to grow up and get a job and to live the American dream,” she added.
The press briefing comes after a visit to Florida’s latest ICE detention facility, dubbed Alligator Alcatraz, alongside President Donald Trump.

On July 4th, the movie “Sinners” will become the first show to be interpreted into “Black American Sign Language (BASL),” per a press release from Warner Bros.
The entertainment company described it as “a major step forward in accessibility, representation, and visibility in streaming.”
“BASL is a distinct dialect of American Sign Language (ASL) with its own dynamic history and unique grammar, signing space, rhythm, facial expressions, and cultural nuances,” the release stated. “For the first time, the Black Deaf community will have streaming access to a more immersive experience in their language. Max subscribers, who sign in ASL but are unfamiliar with this dialect, will also be able to follow along with this interpretation.”
The press release noted that the interpretation will be done by Nakia Smith, “an influential voice in the Black Deaf community, who delivers a powerful interpretation with cultural depth and linguistic richness that aligns with the film’s themes and historical timeline.”
“Accessibility within streaming is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Our goal at Max is to make these great stories accessible to all audiences in a way that is authentic to the content and the communities we serve,” Naomi Waibel, Senior VP of Global Product Management at Warner Bros. Discovery, said in a statement. “Sinners with Black American Sign Language is an example of how culturally nuanced access can enrich the viewing experience for our audiences.”
According to the movie’s summary, “Sinners” is about twin brothers who “return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back.” It was released in theaters in April 2025.
The sun monster strikes again. According to the Daily Wire:
In 2023, the Teamsters signed a massive deal with UPS to guarantee a fleet of air-conditioned trucks.
“Our members just ratified the most lucrative agreement the Teamsters have ever negotiated at UPS. This contract will improve the lives of hundreds of thousands of workers,” Teamsters General President Sean M. O’Brien boasted at the time. “Teamsters have set a new standard and raised the bar for pay, benefits, and working conditions in the package delivery industry.”
He may have started celebrating too early.
As temperatures climbed last month, the Teamsters sent a furious letter to UPS demanding information on the whereabouts of the air-conditioned vehicles.
“How does UPS expect to actually deliver 20,000 or more air-conditioned package cars and vans over the next two years, when the delivery giant is already so far behind?” O’Brien demanded. “The summer heat beating down on our members is no joke. UPS is playing a dangerous game with the lives of thousands of essential American workers.”
UPS, meanwhile, seems to have different concerns.
For years, the company has been focused on replacing its fleet with so-called green vehicles. A few years ago, UPS pledged to make 40% of its vehicles use “alternative fuel” by 2025. So far, UPS says it uses more than 1,000 electric or hybrid vehicles.
Drivers blasting their air conditioning in the sweltering Texas heat probably doesn’t help the shipping giant’s goal of reaching “carbon neutrality by 2050.”
Nearly no one enjoys getting stopped by Transportation Security Administration (TSA) authorities at the airport.
But when checkpoint alarm bells begin blaring around a traveler’s groin, as happened to one befuddled passenger not long ago, there is a chance it’s due to extreme wetness in their pants, insiders say.
“I flew for the first time in 15 years this week, and both airports flagged my crotch at the arms up scanner,” a confused tripper confessed on Reddit recently.
The wet wanderluster described herself as a “midsized adult woman (5-foot-8, 169 lbs.)” wearing bike shorts and normal underwear. The skyway siren assured social media readers that her private parts are neither pierced nor outfitted with medical devices. She claimed her pockets were totally empty.
“I don’t care about the pat down, they were polite and professional and it doesn’t bother me,” said the baffled belle, “but I’m wondering what did it.”
Internet know-it-alls say it’s crotch sweat — and they’re likely right.
“Sweat, feminine products (liners, pads, depends) could be anything but those seem to be culprits,” a Reddit commenter wrote.
“Last time I flew out of my home airport of Tampa, I got searched too,” admitted an equally clammy jet-setter. “The [security] guard said something unnerving like ‘swamp rot’ or ‘swamp crotch’ or something similarly embarrassing.”
It’s a bodily function that can wrongfully trigger red flags, per TSA expert Shawna Malvini Redden.
“Perspiration is probably the weirdest thing that can set off the scanners,” Malvini Redden recently explained to Reader’s Digest. “It has to do with millimeter wave technology and how the waves bounce off water.”
The insider added that because the machines often generate false alarms due to sweat, some countries, including France and Germany, have banned the scanners altogether.
But massive moisture isn’t the only reason the TSA technology might mistake one’s undercarriage for a dangerous weapon.
“On-person screening technology effectively screens diverse populations of travelers every day,” TSA representatives previously told The Post, adding that their devices and screening algorithms are trained to recognize body composition.
Any unexpected abnormalities, including excess sweat, could potentially prompt an alert, they said.
The legal community is just flooding us with news today. Though I haven’t mentioned all these cases before, it is worth talking about. There are some lessons we can learn.
Not Guilty!
P-Diddy jurors, after one day of deliberations, find him not guilty of of racketeering conspiracy and two counts of sex trafficking by force.
He was found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
The counts he was charged with come with 10 years for each count. Chances are he’s not going to get that. He will probably get a couple of years with time served.
Trump will receive $16 million up front. This will cover legal fees, costs of the case, and contributions to his future presidential library or charitable causes, to be determined at Trump’s discretion.
There is an anticipation that there will be another allocation in the mid-eight figures set aside for advertisements, public service announcements, or other similar transmissions, in support of conservative causes by the network in the future, Fox News Digital has learned.
With these considerations, CBS would pay well in excess of the $15 million that ABC paid Trump to settle a defamation lawsuit last year. Current Paramount management disputes the additional allocation.
Bryan Kohberger is the former doctoral student in criminology who was charged with the murders of four University of Idaho students—Ethan Chapin, Xana Kernodle, Madison Mogen, and Kaylee Goncalves—in November 2022. The killings took place at an off-campus home in Moscow, Idaho, and drew national attention due to their brutality and the initial mystery surrounding the case1378.
Current Status (as of July 2, 2025):
Kohberger is expected to plead guilty to all counts at a court hearing today, as part of a plea deal that will spare him the death penalty12346.
The plea agreement requires him to accept four consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole for the murders, and an additional maximum 10-year sentence for burglary12346.
He will waive all rights to appeal as part of the deal12346.
The plea was initiated by Kohberger’s defense team, and prosecutors agreed after consulting with the victims’ families136.
Sentencing is expected to take place later in July, provided Kohberger enters the guilty plea as anticipated36.
Background and Arrest:
Kohberger was a Ph.D. student at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington, just a short drive from Moscow, Idaho78.
He was arrested at his parents’ home in Pennsylvania on December 30, 2022, about six weeks after the murders1378.
DNA evidence linking Kohberger to a knife sheath found at the crime scene played a central role in his identification and arrest1378.
Kohberger was indicted on four counts of first-degree murder and one count of burglary78.
The Goncalves family confirmed in a statement to Reuters from their attorney that they learned of the plea deal in a letter from prosecutors and said prosecutors mishandled the deal.
“After more than two years, this is how it concludes with a secretive deal and a hurried effort to close the case without any input from the victims’ families on the plea’s details. Adding insult to injury, they’re rushing the plea, giving families just one day to coordinate and appear at the courthouse for a plea on July 2.”
Steve Goncalves, father of one of the victims, said: “This is anything but justice. This is the opposite of our will. There was no majority believing that this was acceptable.
“This is not justice. We had an outsider come to our community, kill our kids in their sleep while they’re getting a college education, doing everything that they should do, and we don’t have the courage to hold him accountable. No plea deal. Let’s go for this guy. One hundred percent, let’s do it.”
The White House has struck a deal with the University of Pennsylvania that requires the school to strip trans-identifying male swimmer Lia Thomas of the titles he won on the women’s team, The Daily Wire has learned.
The University of Pennsylvania will restore all titles to female athletes that were “misappropriated” by male athletes, according to a landmark agreement between the Trump administration and the University of Pennsylvania, a White House official shared with The Daily Wire.
Thomas competed as a female swimmer at the University of Pennsylvania, infamously tying with University of Kentucky swimmer Riley Gaines in 2022 at the NCAAs and taking her trophy — prompting Gaines to take a stand against men in women’s sports.
California Governor Gavin Newsom signed a pair of bills Monday night rolling back parts of a landmark environmental law to remove barriers to tackling the state’s housing shortage.
The California legislature with bipartisan support voted last week to exempt certain projects, such as some high-density housing plans, from onerous California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) reviews and approvals. Newsom pushed the legislation forward, threatening to hold up the state’s budget unless the CEQA rollbacks hit his desk, as well.
“Today’s bill is a game changer, which will be felt for generations to come,” Newsom said in a statement referring to the CEQA overhaul.
Newsom held a press conference Monday evening touting the bills as necessary to rescue the reputation of California’s government and prove that the state is capable of solving pressing problems.
“If we can’t address this issue, we’re going to lose trust, and that’s just the truth,” said Newsom, according to The New York Times. “And so this is so much bigger in many ways than the issue itself. It is about the reputation of not just Sacramento and the legislative leadership and executive leadership, but the reputation of the state of California.”
Newsom has promised to address California’s burgeoning housing shortage since his first campaign for governor in 2018. Now well into his second term and close to being term-limited out of office, Newsom pushed the CEQA reforms forward as he is widely seen as a potential Democratic contender for president in 2028.
CEQA was originally signed into law in 1970 by then-Governor Ronald Reagan. The law at the time it was enacted was thought to only apply to government projects, but a court decision two years later broadened the law’s application to a host of development projects.
Since then, critics have said that the law’s strict review and approval process, believed to be the toughest in the United States, has been abused by environmental activists, labor unions, California residents, and others to extract concessions in exchange for politically sensitive projects or to override construction proposals unpopular with a small group.
Environmental groups rallied against the CEQA reforms. Dozens of groups partnered together to urge lawmakers to reject the bills.
“This bill is the worst anti-environmental bill in California in recent memory,” the groups wrote in a joint letter. “It represents an unprecedented rollback to California’s fundamental environmental and community protections at a time in which the people of California grapple with unprecedented federal attacks to their lives and livelihoods.”
