The heroes that were abandoned by the Biden administration and were stuck on the International Space Station finally speak out. Let’s listen to what they had to say.
An illegal alien and social media influencer is rightfully deported.

A new controversy hits the Trump administration. But is it really a controversy? Let’s take a shallow look at it.
Baseball has started and that means it’s time for some controversy.
And Robert Kennedy Jr. is taking a chainsaw to Health and Human Services. I’m all in for it!
I Know How This Could Have Been Avoided
Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia, a Maryland resident with protected legal status in the U.S., was mistakenly deported to El Salvador and imprisoned in the notorious Centro de Confinamiento del Terrorismo (CECOT) due to an administrative error by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Despite a 2019 court ruling barring his deportation to El Salvador, ICE executed his removal on March 15, 2025. The Trump administration has acknowledged the mistake but argued that U.S. courts lack jurisdiction to order his return from Salvadoran custody135.
Abrego Garcia fled El Salvador in 2011 to escape gang violence and extortion threats. He had been accused of MS-13 gang affiliation during a 2019 immigration hearing, but his attorneys maintain that no evidence has ever been provided to support this claim. An immigration judge had granted him protection from removal after determining he would face persecution if returned to El Salvador56. Despite this, ICE detained him earlier this year, claiming his immigration status had changed, and deported him along with other individuals falsely labeled as gang members37.
Abrego Garcia’s family has had no contact with him since his arrival at CECOT, a high-security prison known for harsh conditions. His wife identified him in news photographs released by Salvadoran authorities, showing detainees being marched into the prison under extreme security measures. His attorneys have filed a lawsuit demanding diplomatic efforts to secure his release and halt U.S. funding for his detention in El Salvador357.
This case highlights broader concerns about wrongful deportations under the Trump administration, including accusations that tattoos and anonymous tips were misinterpreted as evidence of gang affiliation. Legal experts argue that these practices have led to numerous innocent individuals being sent to CECOT, where detainees face severe human rights abuses46.
Things the story does not bring up:
He is an illegal alien.
He is affiliated to the MS-13 gang, including having tattoos.
He was found to be an MS-13 gang member by an immigration judge, but not violent enough to be deported to that prison.
He went through the process.
The administrative error was to deport him, but not to that prison.
I just want to point out if we didn’t have to have mass deportations to counter mass illegal immigration, this wouldn’t have happened. This won’t be the first time this happens.
“I donât want to say this. Baseball is a White sport. I feel like White people criticize everything that a Black man does. Black men are outspoken. They say whatâs on their minds.”
“The unwritten rules of baseball are White. And I always broke the unwritten rules of baseball.”
New York Yankees star Jazz Chisholm Jr. recently made headlines for his remarks about racial dynamics in baseball, calling it a “White sport” and criticizing the culture surrounding the game. In an interview with The Athletic, Chisholm expressed his belief that Black players face disproportionate scrutiny compared to their White counterparts. He stated, âI feel like White people criticize everything that a Black man does. Black men are outspoken. They say whatâs on their mindsâ458.
Chisholm tied his comments to his experiences with the Miami Marlins, where he alleged mistreatment by former teammate Miguel Rojas. Chisholm accused Rojas of engaging in hazing practices, including cutting up his custom cleats and pouring milk into another pair. He argued that such actions would not have occurred if he were White, saying, “Nobody would ever cut up my cleats or throw my things away if I were White”125. Chisholm also criticized baseball’s “unwritten rules,” which he described as rooted in a predominantly White culture that stifles individuality and self-expression47.
“Nobody would ever cut up my cleats or throw my things away if I were White. Iâll tell you right now, if this was a White boyâs stuff, you werenât gonna cut that s— up because if a White boy goes and complains, now everybodyâs f—ed. I go and complain, and itâs not that big of a deal. Itâs, âLetâs try and find a solution for this.â But if a White boy goes and complains, nah, f— that.”
These comments have sparked widespread discussion about race and inclusivity in Major League Baseball (MLB). The league has seen a decline in the percentage of Black players, which currently stands at around 6%, down from over 15% in the 1970s58. Chisholm’s remarks highlight ongoing challenges for diversity and representation in the sport.
A “torpedo bat” is a newly designed baseball bat that has gained attention in Major League Baseball (MLB). The bat features an unconventional shape, with more wood and mass concentrated near the “sweet spot,” which is the area where hitters most often make contact with the ball. This design enhances the likelihood of solid contact and improves the potential for power on hits. Unlike traditional bats, which maintain a consistent circumference, torpedo bats taper off towards the end, resembling a torpedo shape124.
The concept was developed by Aaron Leanhardt, a former physicist from MIT who worked with the Yankees’ analytics department. His innovation redistributes weight to optimize performance while adhering to MLB regulations, which require bats to be smooth, round sticks made of solid wood with specific dimensions15.
Why Is It Controversial?
The controversy surrounding torpedo bats stems from several factors:
Competitive Advantage: The Yankees’ use of torpedo bats coincided with an explosive start to the 2025 season, including a franchise-record nine home runs in one game and 15 home runs over three games. Critics argue that these bats may provide an unfair advantage by increasing the effectiveness of hitters, even though they are legal under MLB rules245.
Perception of Legitimacy: While MLB has confirmed the legality of these bats, some players and fans feel that their design pushes ethical boundaries. Brewers pitcher Trevor Megill compared them to equipment used in slow-pitch softball and expressed concerns about professionalism16.
Resistance to Change: Baseball is a sport steeped in tradition, and innovations like torpedo bats often face skepticism. Even within the Yankees organization, star player Aaron Judge has opted to stick with traditional bats despite their widespread adoption by teammates45.
Impact on Gameplay: The unusual design of torpedo bats has led to debates about whether they fundamentally alter the dynamics of hitting in baseball. While their true impact remains uncertain, many believe they could influence strategy and performance across the league as more teams experiment with similar designs24.
Broader Implications
The introduction of torpedo bats highlights ongoing efforts to integrate science and analytics into baseball equipment design. While some view this as progress, others worry it could widen disparities between teams with access to advanced technologies and those without. As MLB teams increasingly explore bat customization, this controversy may signal a shift in how equipment innovations are perceived in professional sports47.
A violent altercation occurred at the University of Texas at Dallas involving a transgender student, Liam Thanh Tam Nguyen, who also goes by the name Alyssa. The incident took place during a tabling event organized by the conservative group Turning Point USA (TPUSA). Nguyen allegedly attacked two students, Paige Neumann, the TPUSA chapter president, and her secretary Grace, using a metal bike lock as a weapon. Video footage of the incident shows Nguyen swinging the bike lock, striking Neumann on the head and damaging both students’ phones123.
Neumann sustained a head injury and reported ongoing pain from the attack. She stated that she did not provoke Nguyen and had no prior interaction with him before the assault. TPUSA shared the footage on social media, describing the attack as severe enough to shatter Neumann’s phone and cause significant harm13. Grace also suffered property damage during the altercation25.
Nguyen was arrested later that day and faces multiple charges, including two felony counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, one count of attempting to disarm a peace officer, and one count of assaulting a police officer. Additional charges include resisting arrest and criminal mischief125. Authorities have not confirmed whether Nguyen is officially enrolled at UT Dallas5.
The incident has sparked discussions online, with TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk sharing videos of the attack and expressing support for the injured students. The organization emphasized that Neumann and Grace are “physically doing okay” despite the ordeal25.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr., as Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS), has announced a sweeping restructuring plan that will cut 20,000 positions, approximately 25% of the department’s workforce. This initiative aims to streamline operations, reduce bureaucracy, and save $1.8 billion annually. Here are the key details:
Job Cuts and Workforce Reduction
Scope of Cuts: The workforce will shrink from 82,000 to 62,000 employees. Half of the reductions will occur through layoffs, while the other half will result from early retirements and voluntary buyouts126.
Targeted Roles: The cuts primarily target administrative and redundant positions, including human resources, IT, procurement, and communications departments. Front-line workers and scientists are expected to remain largely unaffected19.
Division Consolidation: HHS will reduce its divisions from 28 to 15. This includes merging smaller agencies into a new entity called the Administration for a Healthy America (AHA), which will oversee areas like mental health, workplace safety, and substance abuse46.
Regional Office Closures: Five out of ten regional offices will be closed26.
Program Eliminations: Offices like the Office of Infectious Disease and HIV/AIDS Policy and the Office of Minority Health are expected to be dissolved34.
Goals and Rationale
Kennedy has described HHS as a “massive bureaucracy” with inefficient coordination across its divisions. The restructuring aims to eliminate redundancies while maintaining essential functions12.
The initiative aligns with President Trump’s “Department of Government Efficiency” directive and reflects broader federal efforts to cut costs and reduce government size58.
Controversy and Concerns
Critics worry that these cuts could compromise public health functions, including drug safety reviews, emergency preparedness, and disease prevention efforts611.
Some officials fear long-term costs may increase due to reduced support staff and potential inefficiencies in reorganized programs11.
The abrupt nature of the announcement has left many employees uncertain about their roles and how essential services will be maintained11.
This restructuring represents one of the most significant overhauls in HHS history. While Kennedy emphasizes efficiency and cost savings, critics argue that such drastic reductions could risk undermining critical public health services.
The hugest, most enormous, most biggest threat to Democracy continues to be pushed by the media and Democratic politicians. Guess what? No one seems to care.

And a domestic terrorist has been caught in Las Vegas.
Have Fun in Prison
Paul Hyon Kim, a 36-year-old Las Vegas resident, was arrested on March 27, 2025, in connection with a targeted attack on a Tesla Collision Center in Las Vegas. The incident occurred in the early hours of March 18, when Kim allegedly used Molotov cocktails and a firearm to damage at least five Tesla vehicles, two of which were engulfed in flames. He also spray-painted the word “RESIST” on the facility’s doors and destroyed surveillance cameras with gunfire126.
Kim faces multiple charges at both state and federal levels. State charges include arson, possession of an explosive device, and discharging a firearm into vehicles.
Federally, he is charged with unlawful possession of an unregistered firearm and arson. If convicted, he could face up to 20 years in prison for the federal arson charge and an additional 10 years for the firearm offense146.
Authorities identified Kim through surveillance footage, license plate recognition technology, and DNA evidence collected at the scene. Searches of his residence uncovered firearms, ammunition, clothing matching the suspect’s description, and what appeared to be an escape plan46. The FBI and local police are investigating whether this attack is connected to other recent acts of vandalism targeting Tesla facilities nationwide68.
The motive remains unclear, though officials noted Kim’s possible ties to political or activist groups, but authorities said Kim’s social media activity showed potential links to communist groups and Palestinian causes. The attack is part of a broader wave of violence against Tesla properties linked to CEO Elon Musk’s role in the Trump administration’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE)35.
President Donald Trump has stated that no one will be fired over the Signal messaging debacle, where sensitive military discussions about strikes on Houthi rebels in Yemen were inadvertently shared with Jeffrey Goldberg, editor-in-chief of The Atlantic. Trump downplayed the incident, calling it a “glitch” and emphasizing that there was no harm done, as no classified information was shared. He also praised the success of the military operation and defended key figures involved, including Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and National Security Adviser Michael Waltz158.
Despite public calls for accountability, including demands from Democrats for resignations or dismissals, Trump has resisted firing anyone. He expressed frustration with media coverage and redirected criticism toward Goldberg and The Atlantic. Trump privately polled advisers about firing Waltz but ultimately decided against it, citing his aversion to repeating past mistakes like the dismissal of former National Security Adviser Mike Flynn in 201768.
The administrationâs handling of the incident has sparked criticism over its lack of accountability. Security experts and lawmakers have raised concerns about the use of Signal, a publicly available messaging app, for sensitive discussions, arguing that such lapses undermine operational security and set a troubling precedent18.
đ¨Scott Jennings lays out the plain facts to Dems calling for firings over Signalgate â
JENNINGS: âThe bar for firing people like this is really high from the last administration when after the Afghanistan withdrawal, which was a disaster, people died."
đ¨BREAKING: Absolutely unreal. In a podcast interview this morning, a clearly confused and deteriorating Trump thought âSignalâ meant cell phone reception:
Q: How did Jeffrey Goldberg get into the Signal chat?
The U.S. House of Representatives is set to vote again on the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, a Republican-backed bill that would require voters to provide documentary proof of U.S. citizenship to register for federal elections.
This legislation, if passed, would amend the National Voter Registration Act and impose significant changes on voter registration processes across the country25.
Key Provisions of the SAVE Act
Proof of Citizenship Requirement: Applicants would need to present documents such as passports or birth certificates when registering to vote or updating their voter information. This requirement would apply to all forms of voter registration, including first-time registrations, address updates, and name changes25.
Elimination of Online and Mail-In Registration: The bill would mandate in-person submission of citizenship documentation, effectively ending online and mail-in voter registration options5.
State Compliance: States unable to meet the requirements might have to maintain separate voter rolls for federal and state elections or implement bifurcated systems, as seen in Arizona2.
Criminal Penalties: Election officials could face penalties for mistakenly registering individuals who fail to meet the documentation requirements2.
Context and Implications
The SAVE Act aligns with recent efforts by President Donald Trump, who signed an executive order on March 25, 2025, requiring proof of citizenship for federal voter registration. The order similarly mandates states to verify voter rolls against federal databases and prohibits counting mail-in ballots received after Election Day136. Both measures have been criticized for potentially disenfranchising millions of voters, particularly those without ready access to required documentation, such as rural residents, women who have changed their names, and low-income individuals58.
Voting rights advocates argue that these measures address a problem that is statistically negligibleânoncitizen voting is exceedingly rare and already illegal under federal law. Critics also highlight logistical challenges for states and the lack of federal funding to implement these changes258.
The SAVE Act previously passed the House in 2024 but stalled in the Senate. Its future remains uncertain as it faces potential legal challenges and opposition from Democrats who view it as a restriction on voting rights28.

We are going to go over a story that just broke and is hardly being covered. If you still aren’t home schooling your kids, this might convince you.
Pure Evil
According to the Daily Wire:
An LGBT activist teacher in Colorado and her trans-identifying male husband are housing a 17-year-old girl who identifies as a boy. Police say they are unable to intervene to bring the teen home to her mother.
JoAnn Smotherman, a former math teacher at Durango High School, took the teen, one of her students, into her Durango home in December when the girl left home after a fight with her mother. JoAnn is married to Vivian Smotherman, a trans-identifying man who ran for Colorado State Senate as a Democrat last year.
I’d like to know Why she is a “former” teacher.
The teenâs mother, Cynthia Stein, has gone to the Smothermansâ home and attempted, unsuccessfully, to take back her daughter. She called in the police, but the officers who responded to the scene said they would not force the teen to go home, according to the police report and body cam footage of the incident obtained by The Daily Wire.
The situation is the culmination of months of outside influences on the vulnerable teen, her mother told The Daily Wire.
The 17-year-old girl has identified as a boy since the fall and now uses a unisex name. She has been diagnosed with autism, ADHD, an eating disorder, depression, and anxiety, according to medical records provided by her mother. At school, the teen was seeing a counselor, without her motherâs knowledge, who advised the girl to terminate parental notification and encouraged her to participate in LGBT support groups, her mother said.
The turn to radical gender ideology came amid difficult times at home. Stein underwent treatment for an aggressive cancer in 2023, and believes that crisis deeply affected her daughter, who became âvery withdrawnâ from the family.
I am amazed that a school cannot give an aspirin to a kid without permission but a school can give psychiatric care without permission. These are people who are educated to manipulate people. A young girl with emotional problems can be easily manipulated like believing she is the opposite sex.
âSmotherman stepped in and took advantage of my kid,â Stein told The Daily Wire. âSheâs just inserted herself into my family, and I still canât get her out.â
âI just canât stress to you enough how floored I am that this woman has gotten away with what she has, and that there is nothing that I can do to make it right or hold her accountable,â Stein said.
This, by definition, is grooming.
On November 2, the teen ran away from home after her mother told her they were moving to Denver to be near family, and to put some distance between the teen and local influences. Law enforcement and Child Protective Services got involved, and the child ultimately went home to her mother.
However, the girl left home again on December 21 after a fight with her mother. This time, she went straight to the Smothermansâ house, her mother later discovered, although she initially did not know where her daughter was and filed a runaway report with the police.
On January 5, Stein went with two friends to the Smothermansâ house and tried to retrieve her daughter. Stein called the police, and two deputies with the La Plata County Sheriffâs Office responded and conducted a welfare check on her daughter.
HOLY CRAP
An LGBTQ activist teacher in CO and her âtrans husbandâ housed a minor student in their home against parentsâ wishes. Police said there was nothing they could do.
In the police report, the first officer wrote, âBeing that [the teen] is roughly two months from turning 18, has filed for emancipation, has had recent involvement with CPS including investigations into the difficulties at Cynthiaâs home, did not wish to return home, has stayed with Jo Ann when experiencing problems at home in the past and appeared to be of sound mind, in good health and spirits in what appeared to be a safe place, engaged in constructive activities and was not in distress, I did not force [the teen] to leave.â
Before the police incident, Stein was also served legal documents to emancipate her daughter from her custody, a move she believes JoAnn Smotherman was behind.
On February 23, Smotherman posted on Facebook asking for money to continue paying a lawyer for a âyoung transman.â
âHello Friends. I need your assistance again. Some months ago we raised the needed funds to provide a lawyer to a young transman,â Smotherman wrote. âThe lawyer has successfully protected this young man from his abusers. However, our retainer ran out a couple weeks ago. Dispite [sic] the lack of funds, the lawyer continued working on the case, which is now coming to a successful close. We need to raise another $1000 to pay for services that have already been provided. Anything raised beyond what is owed to the lawyer will go to updating the young manâs gender marker and name so that he can be further protected from the coming challenges. If you are able to help, please message me for how to contribute.â
The emancipation request was ultimately denied. A âsmall victory,â Stein said.
JoAnn Smotherman did not respond to a request for comment. The lawyer who filed the emancipation petition likewise did not respond.
Asked why law enforcement was unable to return the teen to her mother, Sergeant Chris Burke with the La Plata County Sheriffâs Office pointed to law enforcementâs policy on juvenile non-offenders, which states that juveniles may be taken into custody for their own safety if they are abused, neglected, under the influence of substances, or an illegal alien.
JoAnnâs Facebook page is chock full of posts promoting LGBT activism. Her profile picture shows her at âDrag Bingo in Denver.â Other posts ask for volunteers for Pride and Transgender Day of Remembrance events. A cartoon she posted accuses parents of pushing their gay kids away and then accusing the LGBT crowd of âgroomingâ them. She also posted to âprotect the pride flagâ in public schools. Recently the Durango school district had a months long saga over the Black Lives Matter and âprogress prideâ flags, and the school board ultimately decided both are allowed in schools.
Vivian Smotherman has been a public figure since last year when he ran for Colorado State Senate. He was promoted by local Democrats but ultimately lost to his Republican opponent.
This is not a joke.
Meet Vivian Smotherman. SmotherMAN is running for State Senate in Colorado.

The teenâs mother had at least one advocate in her corner â the Colorado Parent Advocacy Network (CPAN)â spent months supporting Stein as she navigated the situation, reaching out to the police, lawyers, and the media.
âCPAN has supported Cindy since she first filed her incident report. This case is a devastating example of what happens when schools and state systems bypass parents. Weâre calling on lawmakers and citizens to demand accountability and protect families,â Lori Gimelshteyn, CPANâs executive director told The Daily Wire.
The situation has caused Stein and her family a world of âchaos and hurt,â Stein said. Her daughter has not contacted her since she left the house, although the teen did come by to get some of her stuff in January.
The teenâs mother said she had been giving her daughter Hallmark cards telling her she loves her through friends of hers who are employees at the local grocery store, where the teen worked. However, Stein said she recently heard her daughter quit that job.
The teenâs lawyer has demanded Stein stop contacting her daughter and turn over the account numbers for the college fund and inheritance set up by Steinâs parents, the teenâs grandparents, she said.
âBecause I love my child, I have honored that request,â Stein said.
The teen turns 18 on Tuesday, and is still living with the Smothermans.
âIâm sure I donât have to tell you that Iâm heartbroken not to be able to share this milestone with her,â her mother said. âShe and I actually share the same birthday so itâs a double whammy for me. Iâm devastated at the idea that she thinks I hate her and never want her in my life again.â
A big “oopsy” occurs with the national security team. Of course, Democrats are making a mountain out of a mole hill.
A 21-year-old sues the Trump administration because she is going to be deported. Is this case justified? Let’s talk about it.
And the science community makes a fantastic discovery. It also opens more ethical questions.
Oops!
The accidental leak of classified Yemen war plans occurred when National Security Advisor Michael Waltz inadvertently added Jeffrey Goldberg, editor-in-chief of The Atlantic, to a high-level Signal group chat called “Houthi PC small group”1.Â
This chat included top Trump administration officials such as Vice President JD Vance, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio1.Â
Goldberg received detailed information about upcoming U.S. strikes on Houthi targets in Yemen, including specifics on weapons packages, targets, and attack timing, approximately two hours before the operation began on March 1523.
The leak exposed significant policy disagreements within the administration, with Vice President Vance expressing reservations about the timing of the strikes1.Â
It also raised serious concerns about the Trump administration’s handling of classified information, as the use of non-government-sanctioned messaging apps for such sensitive discussions potentially violates security protocols4. The incident has prompted calls for investigations and hearings from both Democrats and Republicans, with some officials suggesting that Waltz’s position as National Security Advisor may be in jeopardy56.
The White House has confirmed the authenticity of the leaked Signal group chat, with National Security Council spokesman Brian Hughes stating, “The message thread that was reported appears to be authentic, and we are reviewing how an inadvertent number was added to the chain.”1 The administration has launched an investigation into the security breach, focusing on how classified information was shared on a non-government-sanctioned messaging app.2
President Trump initially claimed he was unaware of the sensitive information being shared, telling reporters he knew “nothing” about the incident approximately 2.5 hours after it was reported.3 The State Department has also addressed the leak, with spokesperson Tammy Bruce fielding questions about the “inadvertent” sharing of military plans by top officials.4 As the situation unfolds, the White House faces mounting pressure to address the security lapse and its potential consequences for national security and international relations.
Yunseo Chung, a 21-year-old Columbia University student and legal permanent resident, has filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration to prevent her deportation. Chung, originally from South Korea and living in the U.S. since age seven, is accused of obstructing U.S. foreign policy due to her participation in pro-Palestinian protests. The lawsuit alleges that ICE actions against her are part of a broader effort to suppress constitutionally protected speech and activism123.
Chung was arrested during a sit-in protest on March 5 and later targeted by ICE agents, who visited her parents’ home and dormitory after issuing an administrative arrest warrant. Her legal team argues these actions aim to intimidate non-citizen activists and violate First Amendment rights56. Chung seeks an emergency injunction to block her detention or deportation while the case proceeds812.
Yunseo Chung’s involvement in protests has significantly impacted her academic career. Following her arrest during a March 5 sit-in protest at Columbia University, she was placed on “interim suspension,” which restricted her access to campus facilities13. Additionally, she faced disciplinary actions for distributing controversial posters, though the university ultimately found no policy violations14.
Some things:
I also want to know what else she did. Is this the only crime she committed?
It is a privilege to get a green card. It is not a right.
If you commit a crime, that green card can be pulled.
She does not have the same rights as citizens.
Why didn’t she become an American citizen? Because she hates America.
This does point out that deportation should go on a case by case basis.
Scientists have recently developed human embryo-like structures in laboratories using stem cells, bypassing the need for sperm, eggs, or fertilization. These models mimic early human embryos up to 14 days old, the legal limit for such research in many countries. They include features like a yolk sac and amniotic cavity, resembling real embryos more closely than previous models. The research aims to provide insights into early pregnancy stages, miscarriage, birth defects, and infertility while avoiding ethical concerns tied to traditional embryo research12.
Led by Jacob Hanna at the Weizmann Institute in Israel, the work uses chemically modified embryonic stem cells to self-organize into structures that resemble embryos. The models even released hormones that could turn a pregnancy test positive in the lab. Despite their promise for understanding early development, ethical debates persist regarding their regulation and use125.
Efforts are underway in countries like the UK to establish governance frameworks for this rapidly advancing field. Researchers emphasize that these models are not identical to human embryos and cannot develop beyond 14 days or be implanted into a womb13.
The use of lab-grown embryo models raises several ethical concerns:
Moral Status of Embryo Models: The question of whether synthetic embryos should be granted moral status akin to natural embryos is central. While they are not identical to human embryos, their increasing complexity and resemblance to real embryos challenge existing ethical frameworks135.
Regulation and Oversight: Current laws often do not classify synthetic embryos as “embryos,” leaving them outside traditional regulations like the 14-day rule. This creates ambiguity and raises concerns about unregulated research15.
Potential for Full Development: If synthetic embryos are modified to develop beyond the 14-day limit or achieve milestones like organogenesis, it could lead to moral dilemmas about creating entities capable of life solely for research purposes64.
Public Trust and Transparency: Rapid scientific advancements risk outpacing ethical discussions, potentially eroding public trust. Clear guidelines are needed to ensure responsible use and avoid misuse12.
Religious and Philosophical Beliefs: Some argue that embryos, even synthetic ones, may have intrinsic moral value, rooted in beliefs about personhood beginning at conception7.
These concerns highlight the need for robust ethical guidelines tailored to this emerging field.

Mattel has recently introduced a doll inspired by the Philippine folklore creature known as the manananggal. The doll, named Corazon Marikit, is part of the Monster High Designer Series 2 and celebrates Filipino fashion and traditions. Here are some key features and details about this unique doll:
Key Features of Corazon Marikit
Inspiration: The doll is inspired by the manananggal, a mythical creature from Filipino folklore known for its ability to separate its upper body from its lower half and fly at night, often associated with vampiric traits123.
Design: Corazon Marikit is dressed in traditional Filipino attire, featuring a terno-inspired pink and red ensemble, a rattan bag, an embroidered fan, and Bahay Kubo-inspired heels. The doll also includes intricately embroidered batwings and vampire-like fangs34.
Mechanism: The doll’s body can detach into two parts, mimicking the manananggal’s ability to separate its upper and lower halves. The packaging includes a two-part design with levers that allow collectors to display the doll in various poses127.
Availability and Price: Corazon Marikit is priced at $75 and is available exclusively on Mattel’s official website138.
Cultural Significance
This release reflects Mattel’s commitment to celebrating diverse cultural narratives and promoting inclusivity in its product lines. The doll has been well-received by fans, particularly within the Filipino community, who appreciate its cultural significance and detailed craftsmanship36.
The introduction of Corazon Marikit follows other efforts by Mattel to highlight Filipino heritage, such as the release of a Filipina Barbie designed by Filipino-American artist Carlyle Nuera.
The Manananggal is a mythological creature from Philippine folklore. It is typically described as a female monster or witch that can detach her upper body from her lower body and grow wings to fly at night in search of prey, usually pregnant women and their unborn children.
The lower half of the Manananggal is said to stay behind and is vulnerable to attack during this time. To prevent the Manananggal from reattaching, salt or ash should be spread on the lower half of the body, so the myth goes. The creature is also said to have an aversion to garlic and to be vulnerable to sunlight, which can cause it to turn to ash. The legend of the Manananggal has been the subject of many Filipino horror films and is still a popular part of Philippine culture.
Manananggals are a type of aswang, meaning âevil spiritâ, with the name deriving from âtangal,” which means “to remove.” Similar creatures exist in Southeast Asia, such as the penanggal in Malaysia and the krasue in Thailand, but they detach from their heads instead of their lower torsos.
There is some good news from the Vatican concerning the pope.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement pairs up with an unlikely source to catch illegal aliens.
And our military will be getting a big boost!
Some Good News
According to Fox News:
Pope Francis returned to the Vatican Sunday morning for the first time since being hospitalized five weeks ago.
The leader of the Roman Catholic Church, using a wheelchair and wearing nasal tubes for oxygen, exited Rome’s Gemmlli Hospital and was escorted to the Vatican by a convoy of police vehicles. The convoy stopped at the Basilica of Saint Mary Major, where the Pope often visits, and delivered a bouquet of flowers to be placed in front of the Salus populi Romani icon.
Before being discharged from the hospital, the 88-year-old pontiff made his first public appearance since Feb. 14 after surviving a severe case of pneumonia that doctors said twice threatened his life.
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is nearing an agreement with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) that would allow the use of tax data to support deportation efforts. This development is part of President Donald Trump’s push for extensive deportations. Here are key points about the proposed agreement:
Key Points of the Agreement
Purpose: The agreement aims to verify whether ICE has accurate addresses for individuals ordered to leave the U.S. by cross-checking against IRS databases12.
Process: ICE would submit names and addresses of suspected undocumented immigrants to the IRS for verification45.
Legal Framework: The IRS is bound by Section 6103 of the federal tax code, which requires confidentiality of taxpayer information except in specific circumstances, such as with court approval for non-tax criminal investigations23.
Privacy Concerns: Career officials within the IRS and privacy experts have expressed concerns about the potential breach of taxpayer confidentiality26.
Historical Context: The IRS has traditionally encouraged undocumented immigrants to file taxes using Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers (ITINs), assuring them that their information would not be used for deportation purposes16.
Implications and Reactions
Legal Challenges: Immigrant advocacy groups have filed lawsuits to prevent the IRS from sharing taxpayer information with ICE, arguing it violates federal law57.
Political Context: The agreement is part of broader efforts by the Trump administration to increase deportations, which has been met with resistance from Democratic lawmakers and immigrant rights groups46.
Overall, the proposed agreement represents a significant shift in how the IRS handles taxpayer data, potentially impacting undocumented immigrants who have been filing taxes with the assurance of confidentiality.
The U.S. unveils it's new F-47 stealth fighter, the centerpiece of the NGAD program, a "family of systems" designed to integrate advanced manned and unmanned platforms, including Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) drones. Announced by President Donald Trump alongside Secretary⌠pic.twitter.com/0vlhEjfg6d

Advanced Features
Stealth and Electronic Warfare: The F-47 will incorporate advanced stealth and electronic warfare capabilities, making it virtually unseeable and highly effective in contested environments56.
Drone Integration: It is designed to operate as a forward drone controller, coordinating with multiple drones to enhance combat capabilities14.
Dumbass of the Day
Bernie Sanders stormed out of an interview with ABC News after he was asked if he wanted to see AOC join the Senate…
Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, has threatened to sue former U.S. Representative Jamaal Bowman (D-N.Y.) after Bowman referred to Musk as a “Nazi” and a “thief” during a CNN appearance. Bowman made these comments while criticizing Musk’s leadership and role in the Trump administration’s cost-cutting initiatives, pointing to mass layoffs and legal challenges as evidence of mismanagement124.
JUST IN: Elon Musk announces he is launching a lawsuit after former Rep. Jamaal Bowman called him a âthiefâ and a âNaziâ on live television.
The comment from Bowman came last night on CNN.
âI've had enough. Lawsuit inbound,â Musk said in response to the video clip below. pic.twitter.com/QUpdPFdUPn
Musk responded on social media, stating, “I’ve had enough. Lawsuit inbound,” indicating his intent to pursue legal action, likely a defamation case124. In defamation cases involving public figures like Musk, it is necessary to prove that the false statements were made with “actual malice”27.
Bowman, who lost his primary election in 2024 and now leads the super PAC Built to Win, has been vocal about his criticisms of Musk and his political stance23. The potential lawsuit could have significant implications for public discourse and the legal standards surrounding defamation claims against public figures67. Conservative figures, including Senator Mike Lee, have supported Musk’s decision to take legal action47.
New York City is discontinuing its Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program in public schools for the remainder of the 2024-2025 academic year due to a funding shortfall caused by federal cuts to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) programs14. This program provided students with additional fresh fruit and vegetable snacks three times a week. While students will still receive fruits and vegetables during lunch, the extra snack will no longer be available starting March 31 across over 50 participating schools.
The decision follows a broader $1 billion reduction in USDA funding aimed at supporting schools and food banks in purchasing fresh, locally sourced produce. This cut affects programs like the Local Food for Schools initiative, which helped schools buy food directly from local farmers.
Parents and educators have expressed concern, as for many students, school may be their primary source of fresh fruits and vegetables14. There are indications that canned fruit or applesauce might replace the fresh snacks, but alternatives for fresh vegetable snacks remain uncertain14.
New York State Governor Kathy Hochul has reaffirmed her commitment to providing free breakfast and lunch to students, emphasizing the importance of federal support for these programs3. Despite these efforts, the federal cuts pose challenges for maintaining healthy meal options in schools.
A city in Washington is selling nearly half of its electric bus fleet following reliability issues and difficulty getting replacement parts.
The Everett City Council voted earlier this week to sell nine of the electric buses, of which only four are in service right now, because of reliability issues, including critical sensors and components that have been failing since they went into service. The city is now looking to purchase retrofitted diesel buses so there are no gaps in service.
The electric buses were made by a company called Proterra, which went bankrupt two years ago. Assets of the company were sold, making it harder to get spare parts. The buses cost over $9 million when the city bought them in 2017 and 2019, using mostly state and federal grants. Diesel buses would have cost approximately half that amount. Proterra was repeatedly praised by the Biden administration as the United States’ key to dominating the EV field on a global scale.
Environmental activism takes a huge blow this week.
Donald Trump keeps his promise to dismantle the Department of Education and I have a story that supports that.
And Trump secures the release of a hostage from the Taliban.
Good Riddance
A North Dakota jury has ordered Greenpeace to pay $667 million in damages to Energy Transfer, the company behind the Dakota Access Pipeline, for defamation, trespassing, and conspiracy related to protests against the pipeline in 2016-2017. The ruling includes over $400 million in punitive damages and could severely impact Greenpeaceâs operations in the U.S.125.
Energy Transfer accused Greenpeace of funding and organizing protests that disrupted construction and spread false information about the pipeline. Greenpeace denies significant involvement and plans to appeal, arguing the case threatens free speech and peaceful protest rights. Environmental groups have labeled the lawsuit a strategic attempt to silence dissent (SLAPP)247.
This decision has sparked concerns among activists about its potential chilling effect on climate advocacy and First Amendment rights369.
President Donald Trump signed an executive order on March 20, 2025, directing Education Secretary Linda McMahon to begin dismantling the U.S. Department of Education.
This move aligns with a long-standing conservative goal to return education policy to the states.
Trump criticized the department for inefficiency and claimed it contributes little to improving educational outcomes.
However, fully abolishing the department requires Congressional approval, needing 60 votes in the Senate, which makes complete dissolution uncertain123.
The executive order aims to transfer key functionsâsuch as student loans, Pell grants, and civil rights enforcementâto other departments while significantly reducing the agency’s workforce.
Critics, including labor and civil rights groups, warn this could harm public education by increasing class sizes and limiting access to essential services for low-income and disabled students256.
A controversy has emerged at Shepard Middle School in Deerfield, Illinois, after Nicole Georgas, a parent, filed a federal complaint alleging her 13-year-old daughter was forced to change clothes in front of a transgender student in the girls’ locker room. Georgas claims school staff pressured her daughter to comply under threat of disciplinary action, leaving her daughter traumatized. She has also argued that the school’s policies violate federal directives and compromise students’ privacy and safety134.
The school district denies the allegations, stating that students are not required to change in front of others and have private options available. They assert their policies align with state laws mandating access to facilities based on gender identity. Advocacy groups have criticized the backlash as harmful to transgender students, while Georgas continues to advocate for separate facilities for biological sexes235.
George Glezmann, an American airline mechanic abducted by the Taliban in December 2022 during a tourist visit to Afghanistan, was released on March 20, 2025. The Trump administration negotiated his release through diplomatic efforts led by Adam Boehler, the U.S. hostage envoy, with Qatar mediating the talks. Unlike previous cases, no prisoner exchange was involved; the Taliban released Glezmann as a goodwill gesture. Secretary of State Marco Rubio praised Qatar for its pivotal role in the negotiations, which mark the third American hostage freed by the Taliban since January 2025. Glezmann is now returning to the U.S. to reunite with his wife, Aleksandra1234.
The Trump administration will not entertain a French politicianâs request to return the Statue of Liberty to France.
âAbsolutely not. My advice to that unnamed low-level French politician would be to remind them that itâs only because of the United States of America that the French are not speaking German right now,â said White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt in a press briefing Monday, likely referencing an American-French allyship during World War II that snuffed out Nazi Germany. âThey should be grateful.â
The statement comes a day after a French member of the European Parliament, RaphaĂŤl Glucksmann, said at a party convention that America under the Trump administration no longer embodied the spirit of the monument, which France gifted the U.S. in the 1880s to formalize diplomatic ties and enshrine the concept of American independence from Great Britain and the end of slavery.
âWeâre going to say to the Americans who have chosen to side with the tyrants, to the Americans who fired researchers for demanding scientific freedom: âGive us back the Statue of Liberty,ââ Glucksmann said.
The Department of Health and Human Services has purged thousands of scientists and public health leaders since the beginning of the second Trump administration. It has also slashed research grants across the country, and industry experts warn these moves could hollow out research institutes that rely on these funds for maintenance and daily operations.
If the United States doesnât intend to restore these positions and funds, France, Glucksmann said, would gladly absorb the United Statesâ research sector.
Itâs unclear how France would force the Trump administrationâs hand. The country cannot take the statue back at its whim because it is the property of the U.S. government. Such a move could also strain diplomatic tensions that French President Emmanuel Macron is trying to soothe with President Donald Trump by brokering a peace deal to end a yearslong war between Russia and Ukraine.
The main reasons behind French politician RaphaĂŤl Glucksmann’s request for the United States to return the Statue of Liberty to France are:
Perceived Alignment with Tyrants: Glucksmann criticized the U.S. for allegedly aligning itself with authoritarian regimes, which he believes contradicts the values of freedom and democracy that the statue represents.
Dismissal of Researchers: He also highlighted the dismissal of researchers advocating for scientific freedom, suggesting that this action undermines the principles of liberty and intellectual freedom symbolized by the statue.
Shift in U.S. Policies: Glucksmann’s comments reflect broader European concerns about changes in U.S. foreign and domestic policies under former President Donald Trump, which are seen as diverging from the original values that led France to gift the statue.
Criticism of U.S. Position on Ukraine: Glucksmann has expressed strong opposition to Trump’s policies regarding the conflict in Ukraine, further emphasizing his belief that the U.S. no longer upholds the values the statue embodies.
After a hot and sweaty workout, surely the last thing you want to do is put that same activewear set back on for round two.
But, apparently itâs not that bad for you after all.
A French study is ruffling some feathers over here in Australia, after claiming that rewearing your activewear isnât as bad for you as you might think â and might actually be the right choice for the sake of the longevity of your clothes, and lowering your water bill.
And of course, we have a lot to say.
According to Dr Carolina Quintero Rodriguez, Senior Lecturer in Fashion Enterprise at RMIT University, the French recommendation has some valid points.
âThis recommendation stems from legitimate environmental concerns â each laundry cycle consumes significant water and energy,â she said.
âFrequent washing can also degrade fabrics more quickly, contributing to textile waste.â
For some people, washing your workout clothes less often can be a game-changer, especially if youâre used to low-intensity exercise, or are wearing clothes that are made of natural fibers.
âNatural fibers such as cotton multiply fewer odor-causing bacteria than synthetics. So if you wear these fabrics to exercise in, they may last a few wears before needing a wash,â she said.
âLow-intensity activities that generate minimal or low sweat (including gentle yoga or walking), may [also] allow for more rewears than high-intensity workouts, as bacterial proliferation correlates directly with moisture levels in fabrics.â
Two major studies suggest that active cannabis users face a staggering six times higher risk of heart attack compared to those who stay away from the drug, even among young and otherwise healthy adults.
âAsking about cannabis use should be part of cliniciansâ workup to understand patientsâ overall cardiovascular risk, similar to asking about smoking cigarettes,â said Dr. Ibrahim Kamel, the studyâs lead author and clinical instructor at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine.
Kamel and his team utilized data from TriNetX, a global health research network, to conduct the retrospective study.
The participants, all aged 50 and under, had no major heart issues at the outset, with healthy blood pressure, cholesterol levels and no history of diabetes, tobacco use or coronary artery disease.
After an average follow-up of more than three years, they found that cannabis users had more than a sixfold increase in heart attack risk and double the chance of heart failure.
But the risks donât stop there. Marijuana users were found to have a fourfold increased risk of ischemic stroke â a condition where a blood clot disrupts blood flow to the brain â and a threefold increased risk of cardiovascular death, heart attack or stroke.
Russia and Vlad Putin may be seeing light at the end of the tunnel with the war of Ukraine.
The cease fire is over between Israel and Hamas and Hamas is getting the worse of it.
And Joe Biden was right. Domestic terrorism is the biggest threat to the United States. Unfortunately, it’s coming from his side.
News
Here is some news:
Elon Musk’s attempt to unilaterally dismantle the U.S. Agency for International Development likely violated the United States Constitution, a federal judge ruled on Tuesday.
U.S. District Judge Theodore Chuang ordered Musk and his Department of Government Efficiency to immediately give USAID employees access to their “email, payment, security notification, and all other electronic systems,” and ordered a pause on any efforts to shut down USAID.
USAID was created by Executive Order.
A federal judge on Tuesday blocked the Trump administration from terminating $14 billion in grants awarded to three climate groups by the Biden administration, saying the governmentâs âvague and unsubstantiated assertions of fraud are insufficient.â
The order by U.S. District Judge Tonya Chutkan prevents â for now â the Environmental Protection Agency from ending the grant program, which totaled $20 billion. The judge also blocked Citibank, which holds the money on behalf of EPA, from transferring it to the government or anyone else.
A federal judge has indefinitely blocked President Donald Trumpâs ban on transgender service members, dealing a major defeat to a controversial policy the president resurrected from his first term.
In a scathing ruling, US District Judge Ana Reyes said the administration cannot enforce the ban â which was set to take effect later this month.
Reyes, an appointee of former President Joe Biden, wrote that the ban âis soaked in animus and dripping with pretext. Its language is unabashedly demeaning, its policy stigmatizes transgender persons as inherently unfit, and its conclusions bear no relation to fact.â
âIndeed, the cruel irony is that thousands of transgender servicemembers have sacrificed â some risking their lives â to ensure for others the very equal protection rights the Military Ban seeks to deny them,â she wrote.
The Trump administration released tens of thousands of pages of documents on Tuesday related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
Two NASA astronauts left stranded in space for nine months after a Boeing spacecraft malfunction finally made their journey home Tuesday in a SpaceX capsule, with President Trump saying that they had been âvirtually abandonedâ by the Biden administration.
The SpaceX Dragon capsule carrying Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore, along with NASA astronaut Nick Hague and Russian cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov, departed from the International Space Station at 1:05 a.m. Eastern time on Tuesday, and splashed down off Floridaâs coast at around 6 p.m.
What was initially planned as an eight-day mission aboard Boeingâs Starliner spacecraft launched on June 5 turned into a nine-month ordeal when the capsule experienced multiple helium leaks and thruster malfunctions.
In January, Trump said he asked SpaceX founder Elon Musk to âgo getâ the astronauts whom he characterized as having been âvirtually abandoned in space by the Biden Administration.â
President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin held a lengthy call on March 18, 2025, focused on negotiating a ceasefire to end Russia’s war in Ukraine. The discussions lasted nearly three hours, with Trump seeking Moscow’s agreement on a U.S.-led ceasefire plan. Ukraine had already agreed to a 30-day ceasefire during prior negotiations with U.S. representatives in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The talks reportedly included discussions about territorial concessions and the division of key assets, such as the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, which has been contested since the start of the war. While the White House expressed optimism about achieving peace, skepticism remains regarding Putin’s sincerity and the concessions Trump might offer.
Putin delayed the call by two hours and gave a hardline anti-Western speech beforehand, raising concerns in Kyiv and European capitals that Trump may cede too much ground to Russia. The outcome of the talks remains uncertain as Putin outlined additional conditions for the ceasefire.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has outlined several key conditions for agreeing to a ceasefire in Ukraine:
Military Restrictions on Ukraine: Putin demands that Ukraine halt mobilization, troop training, and the receipt of Western military aid during the ceasefire period, expressing concerns that Ukraine could use the pause to regroup and rearm its forces.
Territorial Concessions: He insists on the withdrawal or surrender of Ukrainian troops from contested areas, particularly in Russia’s Kursk region, where Ukrainian forces have made incursions.
NATO and Security Guarantees: Putin reiterates earlier demands that Ukraine renounce aspirations to join NATO and significantly reduce its military capabilities to align with Russian security interests.
Monitoring and Compliance: He questions how compliance with the ceasefire will be enforced, raising doubts about oversight mechanisms and whether violations will be effectively addressed.
These conditions reflect Russia’s broader strategic goals, making them difficult for Ukraine to accept without significant concessions from Moscow or international guarantees.
Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip eliminated the head of the Hamas government and other key terrorist leaders in a wave of violence following the collapse of their ceasefire agreement, Israeli forces announced Tuesday.
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and the Israel Security Agency (ISA), also known as Shin Bet, said in a joint statement that the airstrikes eliminated Essam al-Da’alis, head of the Hamas government and “the most senior figure of authority in the Gaza Strip.”
The IDF and ISA also determined with “high probability” that Israeli strikes eliminated Mahmoud Marzouk Ahmed Abu-Watfa, the Minister of Internal Affairs in charge of Hamas’ Internal Security Forces; Bahajat Hassan Mohammed Abu-Sultan, who served as Head of Hamas’ Internal Security Forces; and Ahmed Amar Abdullah Alhata, who served as Hamas’ Minister of Justice.
At least 404 Palestinians, including women and children, have been killed in the airstrikes so far, according to the Hamas-run Gaza health ministry. The death toll has not been independently verified.
President Donald Trump’s administration backed Israel’s move to end the ceasefire in a statement on Monday.
Reasons for the Ceasefire Collapse
Hostage Release Dispute: Israel demanded the release of the remaining hostages held by Hamas, while Hamas insisted on transitioning to discussions for a permanent resolution, including a full Israeli withdrawal from Gaza12.
U.S. Involvement: The U.S. supported Israel’s stance, with President Trump’s envoy Steve Witkoff urging Hamas to adopt a more pragmatic approach.
Military Escalation: Israel resumed airstrikes, citing Hamas’ refusal to release hostages and alleged preparations for further attacks.
Current Situation
Violence Escalation: On March 18, 2025, Israel launched extensive airstrikes across Gaza, resulting in over 400 fatalities and significant destruction24.
Hamas Response: Hamas accused Israel of breaching the ceasefire and called for international accountability34.
Future Negotiations: The future of negotiations remains uncertain, with both sides accusing each other of violating the agreement12.

Authorities in Las Vegas are investigating a case of suspected arson after multiple vehicles were set on fire at a Tesla service center early Tuesday morning.
Police said that officers received reports around 2:45 am of someone igniting vehicles at the Tesla collision center near Jones Boulevard and Badura Avenue, reports Fox 5 Vegas. Both Las Vegas Metro police and Clark County fire crews responded to the scene, shutting down the surrounding area as investigations began.
At this time, police have not specified what types of vehicles were targeted. However, the incident comes amid a string of Tesla-related attacks across the country, many of which have been linked to protests against Elon Muskâs political involvement and his ties to the Trump administration. Video obtained by the Las Vegas Review-Journal appeared to show Tesla cars engulfed in flames.
Authorities have not confirmed if the Las Vegas fire was politically motivated or connected to these nationwide incidents.
There have been several instances of violence and vandalism committed against Tesla facilities and vehicles across the United States. Here are some of the notable incidents:
Las Vegas Attack:
On March 18, 2025, a targeted attack occurred at a Tesla Collision Center in Las Vegas. Multiple Tesla vehicles were set on fire using Molotov cocktails, and at least three gunshots were fired into the vehicles. The word “RESIST” was spray-painted on the center’s doors. The FBI is assisting in the investigation.
Kansas City Incident:
On the same day as the Las Vegas attack, two Tesla Cybertrucks were set on fire at a Tesla store in Kansas City. Arson is suspected, but not confirmed. The Kansas City Police Department’s Bomb and Arson unit is investigating.
San Diego Vandalism:
In San Diego, multiple Tesla vehicles were found with swastikas spray-painted on them, along with offensive language on the dealership’s windows. No arrests have been made in this incident.
Tigard, Oregon:
On March 13, 2025, over a dozen shots were fired at a Tesla dealership in Tigard, Oregon, causing damage to vehicles and windows. This was the second such incident at that location within a week.
Seattle Incident:
On March 9, 2025, four Tesla Cybertrucks were damaged in a fire at a dealership in Seattle. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
North Charleston, South Carolina:
A man accidentally set his clothing on fire while attempting to vandalize Tesla charging stations. He was wearing a shirt with a politically charged message.
Little, Massachusetts:
Tesla charging stations were significantly damaged in fires believed to be intentionally set on March 3, 2025.
Owings Mills, Maryland:
Graffiti resembling a swastika was discovered at a Tesla dealership, with the message “No Musk”.
Colorado Arrest:
A woman, Lucy Grace Nelson, was arrested for vandalizing a Tesla dealership in northern Colorado by spray-painting “Nazi” and starting small fires using Molotov cocktails.
These incidents are part of a broader trend of protests and violence against Tesla, largely in response to Elon Musk’s involvement in the Trump administration’s cost-cutting initiatives
Another terrorist supporter is refused entry into the country.
And more destruction in the name of climate change. You can’t make this crap up.
This Is the Way
Dr. Rasha Alawieh, a Lebanese kidney transplant specialist and assistant professor at Brown University, was denied entry into the U.S. and deported to Lebanon after attending the funeral of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah during a recent trip. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officials found photos and videos related to Hezbollah on her phone, including deleted content, and claimed she expressed support for the group, which the U.S. designates as a terrorist organization.
Dr. Alawieh held a valid H-1B visa and had worked in the U.S. since 2018. She was detained at Boston Logan Airport upon her return and deported before a federal court hearing could take place, despite a judge’s order to delay her removal for 48 hours. The Department of Homeland Security justified the deportation by stating that supporting or glorifying terrorists is grounds for visa denial. Her attorneys argue that due process was violated, and advocacy groups have criticized the decision as unjust.
Several New York counties, including Chemung, Oneida, and Rensselaer, are defying Governor Kathy Hochul’s executive order prohibiting the rehiring of approximately 2,000 correctional officers fired for striking over prison conditions. The counties argue the order unlawfully infringes on local hiring authority and worsens staffing shortages in jails.
Chemung County has filed a lawsuit, claiming the order is unconstitutional and disrupts their ability to hire experienced personnel.
Oneida County passed a resolution to potentially sue, asserting that the order oversteps state authority and violates home rule powers.
Rensselaer County‘s executive outright rejected the order, vowing to hire fired officers despite potential legal challenges.
Critics, including lawmakers and sheriffs, have condemned the directive as an abuse of power. They argue it unjustly blacklists officers while exacerbating understaffing in New York prisons, where National Guard members have been deployed as temporary replacements.
Brazil is facing widespread criticism for clearing tens of thousands of acres of protected Amazon rainforest to construct a new four-lane highway for the COP30 climate summit, set to take place in BelĂŠm in November 2025. The highway, intended to accommodate over 50,000 attendees, including world leaders, has sparked outrage among conservationists and locals who argue it contradicts the summit’s environmental goals.
The deforestation impacts biodiversity and carbon absorption, with concerns raised about wildlife displacement and loss of livelihoods for local communities. Residents like Claudio Verequete have already seen their income from harvesting açaĂ berries destroyed without compensation. While Brazilian officials promote the highway’s “sustainable” features, such as wildlife crossings and solar lighting, critics remain skeptical.
This development highlights the tension between infrastructure needs for global events and environmental preservation, undermining the summit’s purpose of addressing climate change.
A suspected “extermination site” has been discovered at an abandoned ranch near TeuchitlĂĄn, Jalisco, Mexico, believed to have been used by the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG). Volunteers searching for missing relatives uncovered cremation ovens, human remains, bone fragments, and over 700 personal items, including clothing and toys. The site appears to have served as both a training base and a location for forced recruitment and killings.
Authorities had previously raided the ranch in September 2024 but failed to uncover the extent of the atrocities. The discovery has sparked outrage and demands for accountability amid fears of a cover-up, with advocates questioning potential collusion between cartels and local authorities. The federal government has now taken over the investigation.
A California man, Michael Garcia, has been awarded $50 million in a lawsuit against Starbucks. The incident occurred in 2020 when a scalding hot tea spilled onto his lap at a drive-thru, causing severe third-degree burns to his genital area. Garcia’s lawyers argued that the barista failed to secure the drink properly in the takeout tray, leading to the accident. Despite Starbucks expressing sympathy, the company disagrees with the verdict and plans to appeal, considering the damages excessive. Garcia has undergone multiple surgeries and suffers from permanent disfigurement and PTSD.
The United States shows strength against Middle East terrorists.
A federal district judge is won’t stay in his lane again.
And Donald Trump has a new tax policy. I have to say, I think he’s wrong on this one.
This Is Strength
United States launches large scale attack on houthies
The United States has launched a large-scale military operation against Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi rebels following their attacks on international shipping in the Red Sea. The strikes, authorized by President Donald Trump on Saturday, have killed at least 31 people and injured over 100, including women and children, according to Yemeni reports.
Key details of the operation include:
Targets: U.S. forces struck radar installations, air defense systems, drone launch sites, and Houthi-controlled areas across Yemen, including Saada, Ibb, Sanaa, and Taiz.
Motivation: The Houthis had escalated maritime attacks in solidarity with Hamas amid tensions in Gaza. Trump warned Iran to cease supporting the group, threatening severe consequences if U.S. interests were endangered.
Scale: This marks the largest U.S. military engagement in the Middle East under Trump’s administration, with operations expected to continue for weeks.
The Houthis condemned the strikes as “war crimes” and vowed retaliation, while Iran denied direct control over the group’s actions but warned of decisive responses to threats against its interests.
A federal judge, James Boasberg, has temporarily blocked the Trump administration’s use of the Alien Enemies Act to expedite deportations of Venezuelan nationals. The administration invoked this rarely-used 18th-century wartime law to deport alleged members of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua, bypassing due process. Boasberg issued a 14-day restraining order and mandated the return of planes already airborne with deportees, citing concerns about constitutional violations and misuse of the law, which historically applies only in wartime scenarios.
Despite the order, reports indicate that hundreds of migrants were already transferred to El Salvador and Honduras, raising questions about compliance. The administration’s actions have sparked legal and constitutional debates, with critics arguing that the law was improperly applied to target gang members rather than enemy nations. A hearing is scheduled for Friday to address further arguments in the case.
The judge said: âI do not believe I can wait any longer and am required to act. A brief delay in their removal does not cause the government any harm.â
Pam Bondi said: âTonight, a DC trial judge supported Tren de Aragua terrorists over the safety of Americans. TdA is represented by the ACLU. This order disregards well-established authority regarding President Trumpâs power, and it puts the public and law enforcement at risk.â
The Federalistâs Mollie Hemingway also called out Boasbergâs ruling directly, saying, âWould not have predicted it was Judge James Boasberg who would be throwing the country into a crisis like this. We need Article III courts to retain their legitimacy and Boasbergâs reckless order threatens that. Wiser minds must take action, and quickly.”
âIâm sorry, but this absolutely lawless order to TURN AROUND PLANES OF TERRORISTS is so insane that Iâm having trouble comprehending what Boasberg is possibly thinking. Trump can not possibly agree to this.’
Former President Donald Trump is proposing to eliminate federal income taxes for individuals earning less than $150,000 annually, according to Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick. This plan could potentially save taxpayers up to $24,000 per year and includes additional measures like abolishing taxes on tips, overtime pay, and Social Security income.
The proposal aims to offset revenue losses through tariffs and reforms targeting foreign entities. However, experts warn of potential economic risks, including a ballooning federal deficit and challenges in balancing the budget. Approximately 93% of Americans earn less than $150,000, making this plan impactful but controversial.
