Episode 901 – The Biggest Mistake in United States History!

Donald Trump has been convicted of 34 counts of falsifying documents. Our country has officially become a banana republic. Let’s talk about it.

Trump Convicted!

A Manhattan jury convicted Donald Trump of 34 counts of falsifying documents, all Class E felonies, on Thursday. He faces up to three years in prison. His sentencing date will be July 11.

After court, Donald Trump went in front of the press and said this:

Yeah. Don’t expect him to be too repentant during his sentencing hearing. I can’t wait to hear his words to the judge.

Alvin Bragg also made a statement after the verdict. It was as syrupy as you would think it would be.

Too bad he doesn’t go after rapists and murderers like he went after Trump.

I also want to point to the guy standing to the right of Alvin Bragg. That is Matthew Colangelo. He was the #3 in the Biden DoJ until he resigned last year and joined Alvin Bragg’s quest to get Trump. Do you still think Joe Biden had nothing to do with this conviction.

Joe Biden released a statement:

It would have been better for him not to be so arrogant about the verdict. So far, this verdict has backfired. He would have been better off saying the Trump should be pardoned. That would have been the unifying thing to do. But that’s not Joe Biden.

He also made a statement:

Well, I’m just going to say it no matter how evil I will be for saying it, but the trial was rigged. Just like the last election. More on that later.

We will talk about the rest of his speech tomorrow because it is important, but I think the fall of the Republic is more important.

But that wasn’t the weirdest part. Biden didn’t take any questions but was asked what he thought about Trump saying he was Biden’s political prisoner. Biden only gives an evil smirk:

Yeah, that became a campaign ad. More on that later.

New Campaign Ads!

Trump knew he was going to be convicted. One he released right after he was convicted. It simple and straight to the point:

That is a pretty powerful ad and a real bad look for old Joe.

It Ain’t Going to Work Out for Them

Well, so far, the prosecution is not working out for the Biden campaign.

  • In New York, Trump trails Biden by a single digits.
    • New Yorkers favor Biden over Trump by a 7-point margin (48% to 41%) in a head-to-head matchup, the Emerson College Polling/The Hill/PIX11 survey found. 
    • In 2016, Trump lost the Empire State to Hillary Clinton by a 22.5-point margin, and in 2020, Biden defeated the former president by 23.2 points in New York. 
    • A Republican presidential candidate hasn’t won New York in the general election since 1984, when President Ronald Reagan beat former Vice President Walter Mondale by an 8-point margin. 
  • After the verdict, the Trump campaign fundraising web site crashed from too much traffic.
  • When the smoke cleared, Trump raised $35 million in just 24 hours.

But, more importantly, this prosecution has changed the minds of some pretty important people.

Venture capitalist, Shaun McGuire, who voted for Hilary Clinton and refused to vote for Trump in 2020, just donated $300,000 to the Trump campaign. He released a very long statement explaining why he was voting for Trump. Here’s the introduction:

I just donated $300k to Trump. I’m prepared to lose friends. Here’s why.

Back in 2016 I had drunk the media Kool-Aid and was scared out of my mind about Trump. As such I donated to Hilary Clinton’s campaign and voted for her.

By 2020 I was disillusioned and didn’t vote – I didn’t like either option.

Now, in 2024, I believe this is one of the most important elections of my lifetime, and I’m supporting Trump.

I know that I’ll lose friends for this. Some will refuse to do business with me. The media will probably demonize me, as they have so many others before me. But despite this, I still believe it’s the right thing to do.

I refuse to live in a society where people are afraid to speak.

Here’s What I Think

This case was an absolute sham. There are fifty reasons why this is going to be appealed. That is the primary reason this trial was not shown on television. Let’s look at some of the problems with the case.

  • There was no crime defined. There were 34 counts of falsifying documents with no documents presented.
  • The charges are misdemeanors normally, but Bragg used the Federal law to make the changes felonies.
  • These accusations occurred eight years ago. The statute of limitations should have expired.
  • This judge was not randomly picked. This is the third time he has presided over a Trump case or hearing.
  • The judge is partisan. He donated to Biden. He should have recused himself.
  • His rulings were partisan.
  • He prevented Trump from calling witnesses that would have hurt Bragg’s case.
  • He kept the trial in Manhattan, which is a very anti-Trump city.
  • His jury instructions made it that a guilty verdict could be reached without being unanimous.
  • He allowed Stormy Danials to testify even though she had nothing to do with the charges.

For those who say the Biden admistration had nothing to do with this trial, let’s not forget Matthew Colangelo. He worked as the #3 in Biden’s Department of Justice, he quit to join Alvin Bragg’s unit. That’s quite a demotion. Two month later, Trump has been indicted. This was purely political.

The Trump Trial

We have some news on the Trump trial:

  • The trial is now in the hands of the jury.
  • They are weighing in on 34 felony counts of illegal payments to Stormy Daniels to sway the 2016 elections. None of this is a crime by the way.
  • They say these counts cover up an underlying conspiracy for a campaign crime. No one, including the judge apparently, knows what that underlying crime in.
  • The judge did say the underlying crime was not important.
  • When the jury comes back with a verdict, Joe Biden will make a statement. This is weird and is probably not a great look.

Something is Missing Here

According to the New York Daily News:

A man suspected of stabbing six people in Massachusetts and killing a man in Connecticut was ordered to undergo a mental evaluation following his first court appearance on Tuesday.

Jared Ravizza, 26, wore no shoes to his arraignment in Plymouth District Court, according to Boston ABC affiliate WCVB. He will be held without bail pending the evaluation.

Ravizza is suspected of killing an elderly man Saturday in Deep River, Conn., then stabbing four girls at a movie theater in Braintree, Mass. and later two McDonald’s employees at a rest area in Plymouth, Mass.

The six stabbing victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries and are expected to survive.

Tuesday’s court appearance concerned the McDonald’s stabbings, in which Ravizza is charged with one count of assault to murder and two counts of assault and battery, the Boston Globe reported. He’s also charged with one count of indecent exposure for allegedly urinating in the restaurant drive-thru.

Ravizza stabbed a 28-year-old man through the drive-thru window while arguing about his order, police said. He then parked his car, walked into the restaurant and stabbed a 21-year-old woman, cops said.

Afterward, Ravizza fled the scene and drove south. Police eventually located Ravizza’s vehicle and attempted to pull him over, but he sped away. Cops gave chase until Ravizza crashed in the town of Sandwich, on Cape Cod.

Connecticut State Police said they responded to a disturbance call after someone, later identified as Ravizza, threw a shovel through a front-door window. Arriving officers found Feldman dead inside the residence.

At around 6 p.m. in Braintree, just 10 miles south of Boston, Ravizza walked into a movie theater without paying and stabbed four girls settling in for a screening of “IF,” police said.

“This crime appears to be completely senseless and random, perpetrated against entirely defenseless, innocent children,” Braintree police said.

Ravizza is charged with eight counts of assault for the Braintree attack. Charges are pending in the Connecticut incident.

Ravizza’s violent spree began around 3:30 p.m. in Deep River, where he killed the elderly man, later identified as 70-year-old Bruce Feldman, according to police.

Something was forgotten here. The guy is an LGBTQ activist that uses “she” has his pronoun on Instagram. This was reported by Libs of Tik Tok and Post Millennial.

It’s Almost Over!

According to the Daily Wire:

Former President Donald Trump drew a massive crowd at Thursday evening’s planned rally in the South Bronx — Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (D-NY) stomping grounds — and although some attendees had traveled from several states away, others were locals who had just come out to see what was going on in their neighborhood.

Trump had a permit for about 3500 people but reports were the crown was from 10,000 all the way up to 25,000. Who knows how many were there, but there were a lot more than what made Democrats comfortable.

This was done in AOC’s district. She had something to say about this and I bet Democrats didn’t want her saying what she did say.

Well, yeah. Democrats don’t want him campaigning. That’s what this sham trial is about. It’s not working. Everything Trump is doing in New York is becoming a campaign promotion from going to a bodega, to going to going to a Chick Fill A to those press conferences he has during the court’s breaks.

Not to mention, the Democrats are shutting his mouth and making Trump a victim of a corrupt system.

The Kathy Hochul weighed in on the rally. She had her Hilary Clinton moment:

There was $1.5 million in damage on January 6th.

This statement makes Joe Biden look like a coward. I’m going to throw something at you. Tears gas should have been launched at the January 6th protestors and the BLM rioters. As President Joe Biden has been presiding over an inflationary spiral since he took office, the cost of a fast-food dinner has skyrocketed.

Fox Business notes that in 2019, a Big Mac sandwich at McDonald’s cost $3.99, but it currently sells for a whopping $8.29, according to Fast Food Menu Prices, which also reports that a BLT Footlong at Subway that cost $5.50 in 2019 can now sell for as much as $8.49. Chipotle’s chicken burrito in 2019? $6.50. Now it can be $10.70.

The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis posits that fast-food prices, which have risen faster than inflation, have soared more quickly than the salaries of most employees at their restaurants.

“A recent survey conducted by LendingTree found 78% of consumers now consider fast food to be a ‘luxury’ purchase due to how expensive the meals have become,” Fox Business pointed out.

Dan O’Donnell of the MacIver Institute noted on Thursday, “Prices on basic items like McDonald’s cheeseburgers and Chick-fil-A nuggets have risen as much as 200% in less than five years with dire consequences for the lower- and middle-class families who make up much of the fast food customer base. … This is not, as the White House has repeatedly insisted, the result of price gouging, but rather the shockingly high cost of wages and food production for restaurants like McDonald’s and Taco Bell.  Since their business model is entirely predicated on providing quick, convenient meals at low prices, they can ill afford to price their menu items out of the reach of their bargain-conscious customer base.”

“Fast food patrons are generally lower-income earners — many with young children — who rely on a quick, affordable meal before soccer practice or a band concert,” O’Donnell continued. “When prices at these restaurants spike from $35-$40 for a family meal to $65-$70 in just a few years, those families either have to sacrifice a night out or extend themselves just a little further to afford it. … When even fast food is slipping out of reach, it’s clear that America’s inflation problem is now a full-blown crisis.”

This is Not a Thing

According to CNN:

A flag that was on display during the January 6, 2021, attack on the US Capitol was flown outside Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito’s vacation home in New Jersey, according to a report in the New York Times on Wednesday.

Citing photographs and interviews with neighbors, the Times reports that the “Appeal to Heaven” flag was seen on display at his property last summer. The flag, which has a history dating to the Revolutionary War, has also become a symbol for supporters of former President Donald Trump. The flag is white and includes a green evergreen tree and the words “An Appeal to Heaven” at the top.

Alito and the Supreme Court did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Senate Judiciary Chairman Dick Durbin, who has been a frequent critic of conservative justices, told CNN’s Kate Bolduan on Thursday that it â€œraises a serious question” for someone on the nation’s highest court to fly such flags at his residence and vacation home.

“I don’t think it’s a coincidence in this second instance. I think he’s speaking pretty clearly as to his political loyalties, and it’s a shame. When it gets right down to it, our courts and justices don’t have an army to enforce their opinions. They don’t have the money to establish an account for media control. What they have is the respect for integrity of the American people,” Durbin said.

It’s the second revelation in as many weeks about a controversial display outside Alito’s property. The New York Times last week published a photograph of an inverted American flag raised at Alito’s home in Virginia in 2021. Alito said the upside-down US flag was raised by his wife and was a response to a spat with neighbors.

The episode has drawn fire from critics, including Democrats and key GOP senators, who have called on the justice to recuse himself from cases involving Trump and the 2021 attack on the Capitol.

Like the inverted US flag, the Appeal to Heaven flag — also known as the Pine Tree flag — was seen during the attack on the Capitol.

House Speaker Mike Johnson faced blowback for displaying the same flag outside his office last year before assuming the leadership post. The Appeal to Heaven flag remains outside his office as of Wednesday.

Johnson told CNN on Wednesday that “it’s George Washington’s flag. It goes back to the founder’s era. I’ve always flown that flag.”

Alito, along with the other eight justices, appeared on the Supreme Court bench Thursday morning to announce opinions. Two were written by Alito, including in a contentious racial gerrymandering case, and he briefly read synopses of the decisions aloud.

Alito typically wears a stern, even dour, expression, and nothing was markedly different Thursday morning. After tersely reading from the text in front of him, Alito took a sip from his tumbler and leaned back in his tall black leather chair as usual. Nothing from him or the other justices betrayed the increasing controversy surrounding the high court.

The Alitos’ flag choices are gaining attention in part because several high-profile cases are currently pending before the high court involving the election and subsequent attack on the US Capitol, including the blockbuster question of whether Trump may claim immunity from federal election subversion charges.

Another case deals with a January 6 defendant who is challenging an obstruction charge filed by federal prosecutors for his role in the attack.

Some Republican lawmakers defended Alito on Wednesday, with Texas Sen. Ted Cruz telling CNN’s Kaitlan Collins that the “entire hoopla is greatly overstated” and accusing Senate Democrats of trying to delegitimize the court.

“From the far left, the court is the one institution that they do not control,” he said on “The Source.”

House Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan echoed those sentiments, pushing back on criticism of Alito and two other conservative justices.

“Justice Alito is an outstanding justice. The left is always out to go after him, Judge Thomas — of course, we know what they’ve done to Judge Kavanaugh,” Jordan told CNN’s Manu Raju. “They’re all good guys, have done a good job on the court.”

He added that Alito should not recuse himself from the January 6 case.

According to the New York Post:

Over 569 metric tons of humanitarian aid have made it across the US-built floating pier and into Gaza, but none of it has been delivered to Palestinian civilians, the Pentagon said Tuesday. 

The structure, erected by the US Army in an effort to alleviate the humanitarian crisis in the war-torn region, was completed last Thursday.

But several trucks hauling food and other goods to warehouses have been “intercepted” on the Gazan mainland. 

“We do anticipate that assistance will be distributed in the coming days here, of course conditions permitting,” Pentagon Press Secretary Air Force Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder told reporters Tuesday, maintaining that the aid was “flowing in” but not yet being distributed to Palestinians. 

When pressed if any of the aid has actually been delivered as of Tuesday, Ryder responded, “I do not believe so.”

Who would have thunk it? The Hamas terrorists are assholes. Oh, everyone knew it!

The Pentagon spokesman noted that some trucks, operated by nongovernmental organizations tasked with delivering the aid to another staging area, had been ransacked by looters. 

“Some of that initial aid that was brought in, as it was being taken along a transportation route, was intercepted by some people who took that aid off those vehicles,” Ryder said.

“Subsequently, there’s been discussions by which to ensure that there’s alternate routes so that it can be delivered to warehouses,” he added. 

Let’s build them something else that’s not going to work. Maybe send our troops in to protect the stuff.

By the way, the “looters” are Hamas.

You know how all this could end? We give them nothing and let Israel wipe Hamas off the map. What we are doing right now is sending aid to Hamas. The people aren’t getting any of it.

But They Are Not After Your Kids

According to Pink News:

The re-release of the GameCube classic restores dialogue confirming that ghostly Vivian is transgender, with her saying it took her a while to realise she was trans.

The key line had previously been removed from the 2002 English translation of the game, although it could be found in the Japanese version.

The dialogue also includes Vivian talking to Mario about her siblings. “Truth is, it took me a while to realise I was their sister… not their brother. Now their usual bullying feels heavier,” she now says.

Vivian is first encountered in Paper Mario as one-third of an enemy group known as the Shadow Sirens which, in the original translation, was made up of three sisters.

The original Japanese translation also had the trans character’s fellow Shadow Siren sisters routinely misgender her.

In the new remake, however, much of the dialogue is restored and Vivian’s correct pronouns are used.

Goombella now says: “That’s Vivian. She’s the youngest of the three Shadow Sirens… she doesn’t seem all that noteworthy. Uh… she is kinda cute, I guess… she might even be cuter than I am… what am I thinking?”

According to Mat Park Place:

Assassin’s Creed Shadows developer Ubisoft appeared to confirm that the game’s two main protagonists Yasuke and Naeo are LGBTQ+ characters.

In a blog post on the company’s website published on May 15th, the company declared, “Naoe and Yasuke’s disparate personalities also lead them to have different relationships and rapports with other characters, and they don’t always feel the same way about people, nor do people always feel the same way about them.”

Next, they discussed romance options, “Romantically, they will also attract and be attracted to different types of people. Through the pair, players will get to experience a multitude of relationships.”

This revelation comes amid Ubisoft contracting with Dartmouth Associate Professor Sachi Schmidt-Hori. Sachi Schmidt-Hori is an LGBTQ activist with her biography on Dartmouth’s website reading, “I am interested in investigating how gender, sexuality, corporeality, and power are represented and negotiated in pre-seventeenth-century Japanese narratives and illustrations. My first book, Tales of Idolized Boys: Male-Male Love in Medieval Japanese Narratives (University of Hawai`i Press, 2021) is on medieval chigo monogatari (Buddhist acolyte tales), which often depict romantic relationships between Buddhist priests and adolescent boys. These tales challenge a host of normative and moral standards we (academics, especially) internalize, including such ideas as ‘sexual orientation,’ ‘transgenerational sex,’ and ‘sexual agency.’”

It’s a video game. Do they really need to get this detailed in the lives of the characters or should Ubisoft spend more time making really cool swords to kill the whatever they are killing?

Why Fight It?

According to the Daily Wire:

A coalition of 17 red states are challenging California over regulations that ban sale of new diesel trucks by 2036.

The lawsuit, led by Nebraska, argues that California’s Advanced Clean Fleets regulations on internal-combustion trucks and mandate for “zero emission vehicles” by 2036 violate federal law and will have a nationwide impact. The suit argues the regulations will disrupt supply chains, raise prices on goods, and slow interstate transportation.

“In a stunning gambit that both violates the constitution and threatens our nation’s economic security, an agency of the State of California has attempted to override federal law and arrogate to itself the power to ban internal-combustion engines in medium- and heavy-duty vehicles,” the lawsuit says. “This attempted ban contravenes controlling law while defying real-world reality and burdening American families and businesses, already suffering from high inflation, with even more costs.”

The suit was joined by Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Montana, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Utah, West Virginia, and Wyoming, as well as the Arizona State Legislature and the Nebraska Trucking Association. The suit was filed in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California.

Oh, but they’re not done.

Nebraska Attorney General Mike Hilgers announced an additional suit against the Environmental Protection Agency for its regulations on tailpipe emissions standards for heavy-duty vehicles. Critics argue that these regulations effectively take aim at traditional trucks in favor of pushing companies to manufacture and sell electric vehicles.

The suit against the EPA was joined by Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wyoming. Always Conforming to the Sleaze

A California city removed the traffic lights from a four-way intersection as the city grapples with thefts attributed to a massive homeless encampment nearby. 

Oakland has been experiencing high crime and theft, including people stealing copper wires and the city’s infrastructure, according to locals who spoke to CBS News. The city attempted to thwart criminals tampering with its electrical boxes by placing cement barriers over them – to no avail. Now, the city has taken to removing the traffic lights at a busy intersection and replacing them with stop signs. 

“It’s just telling us that the city is giving up on us,” said Tam Le, owner of Le’s Auto Body & Engine Repair, nearby the intersection, told CBS News. “If you really want to fix the stop sign, I think you really have to clean up this homeless encampment.” 

The lights had been working on and off for months due to criminals tampering with the electricity and stealing the wires, the report said. One local, Mason Young, said it was becoming extremely dangerous to drive through the intersection, and noted an accident that recently occurred there. 

Instead of fixing the problem, California has decided to just give up and put tax payers in danger. This is a bad look.

With more and more people switching to all-electric or hybrid vehicles, California officials along with Caltrans are looking for a change to the state’s current gas tax system.

According to Caltrans, fewer and fewer people have been paying into the state’s gas tax system over the past several years due to an increase in electric and hybrid vehicles on the road.

Although the change has been great in moving towards the state’s goal of 100% of new cars and light trucks sold in California being zero-emission vehicles, the lack of revenue is hurting funding towards road repairs.

“Approximately 80% of highway and road repairs are funded by a tax on gasoline charged at the pump when you buy gas,” Caltrans said. “The more gas you buy, the more you pay in gas taxes and the more you contribute to highway and road repairs.”

With fewer people buying gas in the state, less funding is going into necessary repairs to the many roadways and highways around California.

“As we look to the future and we shift away towards more fuel efficient and alternative fuel vehicles altogether, that is not really gonna be a system we can rely on,” said Lauren Prehoda, Caltrans Road Charge Program Manager.

Because of this, Caltrans and state officials are considering a new “mile-based” tax system that would replace the state’s current gas tax.

If approved by state lawmakers, Californians would now have to pay taxes back to the state based on the number of miles they drive, either per month or per year–something Prehoda says could potentially balance a major gap within the state.

“The great things about this potential idea is that right now under the gas tax, we’re seeing a lot of growing imbalance in what people are paying to use the road,” Prehoda said.

The Biden administration announced Tuesday that it will sell off 1 million barrels of gasoline held in case of emergencies — with the Energy Department explicitly citing an interest in keeping gas prices low over the summer driving season ahead of the November election.

We are between 30-40% of our reserve. When Biden took the White House, we were at 120%.

The fuel will be released from the Northeast Gasoline Supply Reserve, a component of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve that was established in 2014 after Superstorm Sandy disrupted gasoline supplies in the New York City area.

“The Biden-Harris Administration is laser-focused on lowering prices at the pump for American families, especially as drivers hit the road for summer driving season,” Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm said in a statement.

“By strategically releasing this reserve in between Memorial Day and July 4th, we are ensuring sufficient supply flows to the tri-state and northeast at a time hardworking Americans need it the most.” 

Critics including congressional Republicans slammed Biden’s move as an attempt to buy votes — after making similar allegations about Biden’s attempt to forgive hundreds of billions of dollars in federally owned student loan debt in the runup to the election.

I said the way that Biden was going to win was to be more moderate. He would fake it until he won, then go back to being a communist.

Rapper Cardi B revealed during a recent interview that she doesn’t plan to endorse President Biden or the presumptive GOP nominee, Donald Trump, in 2024 because she feels people were “betrayed.” 

This is nothing new with her. She is voting Trump but wants to keep her career. She has bitched about Biden for the last three years.

The rapper said that while she still believes Trump to be a threat, she’s felt “layers of disappointment” under Biden, citing the high cost of living and a lack of action, which has caused her to reconsider voting in the 2024 presidential election at all. 

“I feel like people got betrayed,” she told Rolling Stone Magazine. Cardi B interviewed Biden ahead of the 2020 election and ended up endorsing him for president, after previously endorsing Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt.

She’s interviewing with Rolling Stone on a serious subject. She’s mot a serious person. But we knew that.

The policies of Joe Biden are Bernie Sanders policies.

“It’s just like, damn, y’all not caring about nobody,” she said. “Then, it really gets me upset that there is solutions to it. There is a solution. I know there’s a solution because you’re spending billions of dollars on any f—— thing.”

‘What the f— is going on?” she asked at the time. “Lettuce was like $2 a couple months ago and now it’s like f—ing $7, of course I’m [going to] say something. The f—?”

The rapper also told Rolling Stone that she didn’t support funding Ukraine or Israel in their efforts against Russia and Hamas.

That’s Bad News for Their Ideology

A study published last month shows that those who underwent gender surgery had a suicide risk 12 times higher than those who did not, adding more data showing the dangers of the life-altering procedures.

The only thing that surprises me is that it is only 12 times higher. I would have thought it was much higher since affirming a sickness usually doesn’t heal the sickness.

The study utilized patient data from 56 health care organizations in the U.S. and over 90 million patients. Four different groups of patients were looked at in the study, including 1,501 people aged 18-60 who had “gender-affirming surgery” and an emergency visit (cohort A) and 15,608,363 adults who visited the emergency room but had no “gender-affirming surgery” (cohort B). The third group (cohort C) included 142,093 “adults with emergency visits, tubal ligation or vasectomy, but no gender-affirming surgery,” while a fourth group of patients with pharyngitis (cohort D) was studied “to validate the results from cohort C.”

This is a pretty heavy study with a lot of subjects and carefully planned.

“Data from February 4, 2003, to February 4, 2023, were analyzed to examine suicide attempts, death, self-harm, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) within five years of the index event,” the study said, adding that its results found that “Individuals who underwent gender-affirming surgery had a 12.12-fold higher suicide attempt risk than those who did not.”

The study concluded, “Gender-affirming surgery is significantly associated with elevated suicide attempt risks, underlining the necessity for comprehensive post-procedure psychiatric support.”

The study’s findings fly in the face of the argument from those espousing radical gender theory, including the Biden administration, who claim that “gender-affirming care” prevents suicide attempts among those who identify as transgender.

Needless to say, this study will be ignored and considered transphobic.

Inflation eased slightly in April for the first time in months, a welcome sign for the Federal Reserve even as prices remained uncomfortably high for millions of Americans.

The Labor Department said Wednesday that the consumer price index, a broad measure of how much everyday goods like gasoline, groceries and rent cost, rose 0.3% in April from the previous month. Economists expected to see a 0.4% monthly increase. Prices climbed 3.4% from the same time last year, down from the 3.5% reading in March.

Another data point that measures underlying inflationary pressures within the economy also moderated last month. So-called core prices, which exclude the more volatile measurements of gasoline and food in order to better assess price growth trends, increased 0.3% in April. From the same time last year, the gauge climbed 3.6% — the lowest reading since 2021.

Altogether, the report indicates that while inflation has fallen considerably from a peak of 9.1%, it remains well above the Fed’s 2% target.

High inflation has created severe financial pressures for most U.S. households, which are forced to pay more for everyday necessities like food and rent. Price hikes are particularly devastating for lower-income Americans, because they tend to spend more of their already-stretched paycheck on necessities and therefore have less flexibility to save money.

  • The diary was found in 2020, just before the election. Just like Hunter’s laptop.
  • The diary was found in a hotel room, abandoned.
  • Someone found it and turned it over to Project Veritas.
  • In the diary, she said she was molested and said her father, Joe, used to shower with her.
  • The diary was instantly said to be fake.
    • The FBI investigated it.
    • There are recordings of Ashley Biden contacting the hotel to get the diary back.
    • Someone was arrested for stealing the diary.
  • The diary was handwritten in Ashley’s hand.

The question I have is why now? The diary has been out for five years. For some reason, not many people are paying attention to this, which is weird.

They Are After the Kids

The Biden administration appears to be repurposing a federal program aimed at helping kids in the foster care system transition to adulthood, instead using the taxpayer dollars to fund efforts by children to transition into the opposite sex.

Biden’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) says federal taxpayer dollars can be spent towards buying “personal items” that support “a youth’s expression of their gender identity,” which typically refer to accessories such as chest binders and so-called packers, which are prosthetic penises used by girls who want it to appear like they have male genitals.

A document from the Children’s Bureau, a federal agency which operates under the authority of HHS, reveals that federal funds can now be used by child welfare agencies to “support the provision of services, interventions, and supports to LGBTQIA2S+ children.” The document, titled “Federal Funding to Support Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual, Two-Spirit, Plus (LGBTQIA2S+) Children, Youth, Young Adults, and Families,” explains that child welfare funds can now be used to encourage children to attempt to change their sex.

“[John H. Chafee Foster Care Program for Successful Transition to Adulthood] funding may be used in a number of ways to support LGBTQIA2S+ youth and allow them to participate in positive, affirming, age-appropriate activities,” the document states in reference to a foster care funding system. “For example, Chafee funds may be used to purchase personal items related to supporting a youth’s expression of their gender identity and/or sexual orientation.”

Sounds like a really good use of money.

I Thought This Wasn’t Happening

Ohio Republican Secretary of State Frank LaRose ordered the Midwest state’s voter rolls to be purged Tuesday after finding that 137 people were registered to vote in the upcoming election despite not being U.S. citizens, Fox News reported.

The Ohio Public Integrity Division looked into data from the state’s Bureau of Motor Vehicles and found 137 non-citizens on the voter rolls even though they had twice confirmed they were not U.S. citizens. Ohio, which was won by former President Donald Trump in 2016 and 2020, “leans Trump” for the 2024 election, according to RealClearPolitics.

To help the state remove non-citizens from its voter rolls, LaRose’s office has also requested information on citizenship data from President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security and the Social Security Administration, along with federal district court records, which show who has been disqualified from jury duty due to not being a U.S. citizen.

“These individuals will receive at least two written notices from the Secretary of State’s office asking them to confirm their citizenship status or cancel their registration. Failure to respond to these notices will result in removal of the registration from the voter rolls by the county boards of elections,” LaRose told Fox News.

“It’s important to recognize that some of these registrations may be the result of an honest mistake,” LaRose added. “These may be well-meaning people trying to pursue the American dream, and communication barriers sometimes result in a registration form being submitted in error. We need to help them get that cleared up before an accidental registration becomes an illegal vote that could result in a felony conviction or even deportation.”

We need to start searching for corruption now. We can’t wait until the day after the election to point out corruption.

One of the Walt Disney Co.’s most iconic characters has been removed from Walt Disney World park meet and greets with the public, reportedly because the character was flagged as “potentially problematic” by a Disney committee.

Disney confirmed in February that Tinker Bell, a Disney icon since making her first appearance in 1953′s “Peter Pan,” had been removed from the park’s meet and greet rotation, but could still be seen flying over the park at the conclusion of the nighttime fireworks show, as well as in park parades.

In addition to park appearances, Tinker Bell has been a company mascot, featured in the opening sequence of scores of Disney movies and television shows for decades, flying towards the screen and sprinkling it with her famous pixie dust.

Meet and greets within Disney parks were discontinued during the COVID-19 pandemic, but when they returned, Tinker Bell did not. Now, the signage at the Magic Kingdom’s Town Square Theatre where guests could once meet the blonde fairy has been removed, replaced by signage for Mickey Mouse, according to Inside the Magic.

While confirming the character’s absence from Magic Kingdom meet and greets, Disney did not indicate a reason for the change. However, a 2022 report by the New York Times said Disney’s “Stories Matter” team — launched to “ensure (our content) accurately represents our global audiences” — had indicated the Tinker Bell character was “potentially problematic.”

The team found the Tinker Bell character to be both “body conscious” and “jealous of Peter Pan’s attention.” But meet and greets with the character are still available at Disneyland in Anaheim, California, suggesting the Stories Matter findings may not have played a factor in the decision to end the character’s meet and greets at Walt Disney World.

The Stories Matter team also flagged Peter Pan for its negative portrayal of Native people and the use of “redskins” in the film.

President Joe Biden is set to increase tariffs on multiple Chinese imports, including electric vehicles, battery components, semiconductors, microchips, and steel and aluminum.

The tariff rates will hit electric vehicles, solar components, and semiconductors from China the hardest with an increase from 25% to 50%, while tariffs on other sectors will increase to 25%, USA Today reported. The new tariffs on China, which will be announced by Biden at the White House on Tuesday, will be implemented over the next two years and are estimated to affect around $18 billion in Chinese imports. During his speech, Biden will also officially endorse keeping tariffs implemented by former President Donald Trump on more than $300 billion of Chinese goods, The New York Times reported.

Biden’s increase in tariffs on China comes after the president spent months campaigning against former President Donald Trump’s tariffs on the communist country. The then-Democratic presidential candidate blasted Trump multiple times in 2019 for his tariffs on Chinese imports, calling Trump’s policies “senseless” and arguing that, in the end, Americans would end up “foot[ing] the bill.”

Too little, too late. He needs to raise tariffs on everyone dealing with China, including Mexico. Mexico imports a lot of Chinese crap, including fentanyl, and it goes on the tariff radar.

He’s doing more to show he’s moderate.

  • Biden has agreed to debate Trump with CNN moderating on June 27th. We will see if that happens.

When Daily Wire host Michael Knowles spoke last month at the University of Utah, he was met with a host of leftist protesters and university-approved transgender flags filling the building he was speaking in — a demonstration that was in part supported by the school faculty. 

The protest took place as Knowles, who had been brought to campus by the Young America’s Foundation, gave a speech on the problems with transgender ideology on April 8 at the university. At the same time, Philip Osteen, the dean of Utah’s College of Social Work, reportedly extended the school’s Pride celebration so that it coincided with Knowles’ speech and approved for transgender and LGBT flags and banners to fill the building Knowles was set to speak in. 

Osteen, the dean of the building where Knowles spoke, approved the trans flag demonstration, but said he couldn’t give the go-ahead for students to put up American flags when pressed by YAF representative Breana Marsh. 

“I think it’s a gross misuse to say that we’re going to make a safe place, we’re going to make students feel represented and protected, and everyone feels safe, at the absolute hanging of your conservative students,” Marsh said in audio shared by YAF with The Daily Wire. 

Osteen said she should bring her concerns to the dean of students, saying that YAF could put up American flags in the room where Knowles was speaking but “not in the decoration of this building.”

He then said that if YAF got approval from facilities and the dean of students that they could put up American flags. When asked why he could approve Pride flags, but not the American flag, he said “because I approved these to go up as a celebration of our pride.”

The letter was organized by The National Domestic Workers Alliance (NDWA), the nonprofit advocacy group that worked with Participant and director Alfonso Cuaron on a campaign to increase the visibility of domestic labor tied to Cuaron’s film “Roma” in 2018.

Signees include George Clooney, Ava Duvernay, Regina King, Kerry Washington, Michael Keaton, Diego Luna, Jane Fonda along with organizations like ACLU, GLAAD, and more.

“Participant’s model of filmmaking and partnerships showed us the power of storytelling to open our hearts and inspire action in times of change and uncertainty. ” National Domestic Workers Alliance President Ai-jen Poo said in a statement provided to TheWrap. “The open letter is a re-commitment to this work, and an invitation to others to join us in harnessing the power of art to change the world.”

According to CNN:

The San Francisco Police Department will stop releasing most booking photos, or mug shots, to avoid perpetuating racial bias, San Francisco police Chief Bill Scott announced Wednesday.

“With a thoughtful process for releasing booking photos, law enforcement agencies may help mitigate or avoid perpetuating negative stereotypes which can contribute to implicit and explicit bias in policing and by community members,” Scott announced in a notice to the department.

The SFPD will continue releasing mug shots when “necessary to warn the public of imminent danger or to enlist the public’s assistance in locating individuals, including at-risk persons,” the department said in a news release about the policy change, but those will be the only exceptions to the new rule.

“This policy emerges from compelling research suggesting that the widespread publication of police booking photos in the news and on social media creates an illusory correlation for viewers that fosters racial bias and vastly overstates the propensity of black and brown men to engage in criminal behavior,” Scott said in the news release.

According to the Washington Examiner:

San Francisco is getting hammered for spending millions of dollars on a program that gives free booze to homeless alcoholics, but researchers are insisting the multimillion-dollar strategy has merit. 

Keanan Joyner, a professor and researcher in the Clinical Research on Externalizing and Addiction Mechanisms Lab at the University of California, Berkeley, called San Francisco’s Managed Alcohol Program, or MAP, “a very positive thing.”

“The science is very clear at this point that harm reduction as a general strategy for treating alcohol and other drug use disorders is very effective,” he said on Monday. 

MAP was started four years ago as a way to care for unhoused people who drank excessively and ended up in emergency rooms, jails, or, in some cases, the morgue. 

It made headlines recently after Adam Nathan, the founder of AI marketing company Blaze and chairman of the Salvation Army San Francisco Metro Advisory Board, slammed the program for giving out free beer.

“It’s set up so people in the program just walk in and grab a beer, and then another one. All day,” he posted on X.

His comments were followed by tech executive Garry Tan, who called MAP “harm acceleration.”

The program, which is run out of an old hotel in the city’s Tenderloin district, provides housing, three meals a day, and a nurse who administers alcohol, usually vodka or beer, to keep users at a “safe level of intoxication.” The goal isn’t to stop alcohol use but to keep it at a level that increases users’ safety and overall quality of life.

The Biden administration has reportedly offered Israel “sensitive intelligence” to help root out Hamas leaders — prompting critics to claim this shows the White House withheld the crucial data to use as leverage.

The administration Monday adamantly denied the accusation that it held back intelligence from Israel during the allies’ public feud over how the Jewish state should proceed in the southern Gaza city of Rafah.

The Washington Post reported over the weekend that the White House has been offering Israel the key intelligence over the past several weeks as the administration seeks to avoid a full-blown Rafah invasion, with the outlet citing four sources.

The US is dangling the offer to show Israel does not need to unleash its full military wrath on the civilian-packed, war-torn Palestinian region to nail leaders of the terror group, the sources said.

The outlet noted that the administration has sent Israel intelligence throughout the war but is seeking to make the case that with more sensitive US information on the Hamas leadership’s whereabouts, its ally can conduct a highly targeted operation rather than a full-scale incursion.

Numerous critics on the right lashed out at the administration after the report surfaced, fearing the US was suppressing critical intel during the devastating Israel-Hamas war.

According to the New York Post:

Christian McGhee, who received a three-day suspension for using the phrase last month at Central Davidson High School in Lexington, has accused the school of violating his First Amendment rights in the lawsuit filed in federal court Tuesday.

“Aside from the obvious fact that his words had nothing to do with race, his speech was protected under the First Amendment: he asked his teacher a question that was factual and nonthreatening, and officials could not have reasonably forecast that his question would cause substantial School disruption,” the suit said.

“Nor did his question actually cause substantial School disruption.”

According to the lawsuit, the incident occurred on April 9 when a teacher gave Christian an assignment that used the word “alien,” and he asked, “Like space aliens or illegal aliens without green cards?”

A Hispanic student in Christian’s class reportedly “joked” that he was going to “kick Christian’s a–,” so the teacher took the matter to the assistant principal, per the suit.

Eventually, his words were deemed to be offensive and disrespectful to his classmates, so he was suspended.

On Monday, Tennessee Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti led a coalition of 18 states in filing a lawsuit against the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) after it released new sexual harassment guidance extending Title VII’s protections against sex-based discrimination to cover gender identity.

On April 29, the EEOC released its new guidance, which insists an employer may be liable under Title VII if they or another employee use a name or pronoun inconsistent with an employee’s preferred gender identity. Not only that, but an employer can be liable by limiting access to a bathroom or other sex-segregated facility, such as a shower or locker room, based on biological sex and not on gender identity. If a customer or other non-employee fails to use an employee’s preferred pronouns or refuses to share a restroom with someone of the opposite sex, the employer could also be sued.

“In America, the Constitution gives the power to make laws to the people’s elected representatives, not to unaccountable commissioners, and this EEOC guidance is an attack on our constitutional separation of powers,” Skrmetti said. “When, as here, a federal agency engages in government over the people instead of government by the people, it undermines the legitimacy of our laws and alienates Americans from our legal system. This end-run around our constitutional institutions misuses federal power to eliminate women’s private spaces and punish the use of biologically-accurate pronouns, all at the expense of Tennessee employers.”

On January 20, 2021, the day President Biden was inaugurated, he signed an “Executive Order on Preventing and Combating Discrimination on the Basis of Gender Identity or Sexual Orientation.” That order declared that “laws that prohibit sex discrimination…prohibit discrimination on the basis of gender identity or sexual orientation.” Biden directed federal agencies to “fully implement statutes that prohibit sex discrimination” consistent with the administration’s interpretation.

In response to the executive order, Biden’s Department of Education and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission issued guidance documents providing their interpretations of Title IX of the Education Amendments Act of 1972 and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

On June 15, 2021, the EEOC issued a “Technical Assistance Document” which purported to explain employers’ obligations with respect to dress codes, bathrooms, locker rooms, showers, and use of preferred pronouns or names.

On June 23, 2021, the Department of Education issued a “Dear Educator” letter to directly notify those subject to Title IX of the Department’s Interpretation. The “Dear Educator” letter reiterated that “Title IX’s protection against sex discrimination encompasses discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity” and explained that the Department “will fully enforce Title IX to prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.”

On August 30, 2021, the state of Tennessee led a coalition of states and filed a complaint challenging the legality of the guidance documents issued by the Department and the EEOC in response to Biden’s executive order.  In 2022, the United States District Court Eastern District of Tennessee granted the injunction.

After President Biden gave his ultimatum of withholding offensive weapons to the Jewish state if Israel were to launch an invasion of Rafah, rocket attacks rained down on Israel on Friday from Rafah, with more rockets fired on Saturday.

Hamas launched rockets from Rafah at the southern Israeli city of Beersheva on Friday for the first time since December, as Iranian proxy Hezbollah sent a barrage of rockets into the northern Israel city of Kiryat Shmona, causing a massive fire. Within the Gaza Strip on Friday, four Israeli soldiers were killed.

“When administration officials attacked or berated Israel publicly previously during the war, Hamas hardened its demands in return for releasing hostages, in fact delaying and minimizing the chances of success of the delicate negotiation,” Jonathan Conricus told Fox News Digital. Conricus served in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) for 24 years as a combat commander in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip.

The new Disney+ Star Wars animated series “Tales of the Empire” just introduced a nonbinary character.

Libs of TikTok shared the clip in question on X. “New Star Wars show on Disney+ ‘Tales of the Empire’ features a non-binary character that uses they/them pronouns,” the caption says. “Parents, make sure you know what your kids are watching! They’re after your kids.”

The “Star Wars” franchise has dabbled in radical left-wing gender theory before. Director J.J. Abrams bragged in 2019 that the film “Rise of Skywalker” would include a kiss between two women.

“In the case of the LGBTQ community, it was important to me that people who go to see this movie feel that they’re being represented in the film,” Abrams told Variety at the time. “I will say I’m giving away nothing about what happens in the movie. But I did just say what I just said.”

In reality, the quick kiss accounted for less than one second of screen time.

Disney also added two “trans and non-binary” Jedi Knights on the cover for Marvel’s “Star Wars: The High Republic” comic series in 2021.
