The father of the 14-year-old boy suspected of killing four people during a shooting at Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia, was arrested Thursday and charged with murder for allegedly allowing his son to have access to a weapon.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) announced that the father had been charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter, two counts of second degree murder, and eight counts of cruelty to children.
GBI Director Chris Hosey said that the charges stemmed from the father “knowingly allowing his son” to “possess a weapon” but did not provide any further details.

A Colorado school district has knowingly and repeatedly assigned children to bunk with members of the opposite sex on overnight trips, according to a lawsuit first obtained by The Daily Wire.
Jefferson County School District’s “Transgender Students” policy requires that all students on overnight visits are to be roomed by their gender identity, rather than their actual sex. The district shared this policy with transgender-identifying students and chaperones, but not with students or their parents.
The three families suing the district on behalf of their children — Joseph and Serena Wailes, Bret and Susanne Roller, and Robert and Jade Perlman — did not learn about the policies until their children found themselves rooming with students and chaperones of the opposite gender on trips, the lawsuit states.
In one instance, the district assigned an 11-year-old girl to a bunk with a trans-identifying boy. In another, it placed a trans-identifying 18-year-old female student— who only a week earlier had identified as female — in a cabin with 11 and 12-year-old boys, where she allegedly supervised their changing and showering, according to the lawsuit.
In both instances, students were uncomfortable with the rooming situation. The 11-year-old girl contacted her mother, who was also chaperoning the trip, and pulled her daughter from the room. Many of the boys under the care of the 18-year-old student, who were at a remote location without cell phones, resorted to changing in their sleeping bags and refused to shower for the duration of their trip.
The parents are asking a Colorado district court to “make clear that JeffCo can’t violate the rights of parents or students.”
They allege that after their children were placed in inappropriate situations without their knowledge, their requests to remove their children from said situations were ignored, as the district prioritized accommodating the students who identified as transgender.
“JeffCo violated parents’ fundamental rights by refusing to give them truthful, pertinent information about their children’s overnight accommodations, thus frustrating their ability to make informed decisions about their children’s education and related matters,” says the lawsuit, filed Wednesday in a Colorado district court. “This constitutional violation also threatens the children’s right to bodily privacy, which is implicit in the concept of ordered liberty.”
“All parents should be concerned when information is hidden from them,” Joe Wailes told The Daily Wire. “We love our school and the people who work there, but no school district should have a policy that overrides parental rights and puts children’s privacy and safety at risk.”
“We want all children to be comfortable when sleeping overnight on school-sponsored trips,” he added. “We are grateful that the other parents are standing with us and hope more parents will stand up against these bad policies and ensure parents’ rights are protected.”
The Wailes, Rollers, and Perlmans are represented by Alliance Defending Freedom, an American Christian legal group that has fought some of the most high-profile religious liberty cases in the United States.
“JeffCo has doubled down on their policy and made it clear that they will ignore concerns from parents and continue hiding information from parents about who their children will share rooms with,” Kate Anderson, senior counsel at Alliance Defending Freedom, told The Daily Wire. “We are asking JeffCo to let parents be the ones to make decisions on their children’s privacy while protecting the privacy of all children.”
What follows are the three families’ accounts of what happened to their children and classmates. Jefferson County School District did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Daily Wire.

We Are Becoming Venezuela
According to the Daily Wire:
Parts of Aurora, Colorado, a suburb just nine miles east of Denver, are being overtaken by a violent Venezuelan gang, a city official told Fox News.
Denver’s sanctuary city policies are being blamed for the migrant crisis spilling over into the suburbs and bringing with it a rise in violent crimes and sex trafficking. The Venezuelan gang, Tren de Aragua, has even taken control of apartment complexes in the city, according to Aurora City Council Member Danielle Jurinsky.
“We currently have entire complexes under gang control — complexes where staff have been beaten up, they’ve been threatened, their families have been threatened [and] complexes where there are no staff left on the property. These complexes are being run by this Tren de Aragua gang,” said Jurinsky.
“They start brokering apartments themselves when someone leaves out of fear or whatever. They go in and take pictures of the apartment themselves,” she continued. “Then, I’ve been told, within hours, a Venezuelan family moves in.”
Jurinksy added, “Parts of [Aurora] are under this gang control.”
“The local media is downplaying this,” she said. “I believe politics is being played with people’s lives. … Nothing is being done to help the American citizens that are being trapped under this gang’s control.”
The Tren de Aragua gang has members across the country and is known for its brutality. One of its members, Jose Ibarra, was charged with murdering Georgia nursing student Laken Riley. Another Tren de Aragua gang member, Jhonardy Jose Pacheco-Chirino, was arrested after beating a man at an Aurora apartment complex, according to police. He was arrested again after a shooting that injured two men, the New York Post reported.

Of course, the governor is saying this is being exaggerated. This isn’t really happening. Here’s the problem. There’s video of it.

According to the New York Post:
A group of about 20 migrants terrified young children by trying to get on their California school bus early Wednesday — a day after a smaller group walked down a highway trying to stop another bus, district officials said.
The alarming incidents occurred in the Jamul-Dulzura Union School District close to the Mexico border — where school bus drivers are now being ordered to skip stops where migrants might be waiting.
On Tuesday, at least three migrants walked in the middle of Highway 94 to try to stop a bus that was forced to go around them, Fox 5 reported.
Then early Wednesday, about 20 tried to get on a bus at the same stop just off the highway as students got on for school — forcing parents to make sure their kids were safe.
“It was definitely really scary,” said mom Nicole Cardinale, whose 8-year-old son was on the bus Wednesday.
“Your initial shock is you’re helpless,” she said of getting alerted to the scary run in.
Cardinale said her son was “really confused” by the scary episode. “He said these adults — they weren’t kids — had backpacks on and they were trying to get on our bus … He said there was a lot of them,” she told Fox 5.
“It’s just scary that these kids were put in that situation,” Cardinale added.
“If those 20 people would have gotten onto the bus and tried to take over the bus, these kids and the bus driver could have been in real danger.”
What was the brilliant idea to avoid these attacks and threats to our children:
School district Superintendent Liz Bystedt, meanwhile, has ordered all bus drivers to skip over stops where migrants are nearby, Fox 5 said, citing a letter sent to parents.
“Please stay [vigilant] and if the bus drives by, please follow the bus to pick up your child at the next stop,” she told parents and guardians.
The San Diego Sheriff did an investigation and this is what they found. According to the L.A. Times:
Law enforcement officials shot down suggestions that migrants who recently crossed the U.S.-Mexican border tried to forcefully board a school bus in a remote area of San Diego earlier this week.
The San Diego County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement that no crime was committed because “deputies determined that no one forcefully tried to stop or enter the school buses.”
Of course, the assholes needed to make excuses for the illegal aliens:
Pedro Rios, director of the American Friends Service Committee’s U.S.-Mexico Border Program, said volunteer organizations usually do not provide transportation to migrants, because of the potential charges they can face. These volunteers usually provide water and if there is an emergency then they will contact law enforcement.
What exactly happened this week is still unclear, according to Rios.
“The assertion is that the individuals were likely migrants who had just crossed into the U.S., and that’s probably the case,” Rios said on Friday. “They likely saw the school bus and associated it as a mode of transportation to get them to a much more organized center.”
They should deport that guy too.
