Not a Good First Day

The new White House Press Secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, had her first solo press conference since Jen Psaki left. It was a rough one. But her introduction made clear that she’s proud of herself being the first black, gay and immigrant press secretary.

OK, yay! But is she going to be a good press secretary? Well, we got some answers thanks to that racist Peter Doocy from the racist news network Fox News.

Considering Jean-Pierre has called Fox News racist, you know Peter Doocy isn’t going to get any softball questions on her first day. Here he’s asking her about how raising taxes on corporations is going to lower inflation:

Then she comes up with a word salad that doesn’t answer the question. Doocy is having none of it.

But Doocy wasn’t finished with her. Here he is asking her why Joe Biden didn’t go to Waukesha during the black supremacist attack in a Christmas parade but he is going to Buffalo to address the white supremacist attack.

They Got the Message

The bid entertainment companies might be getting the message after the Disney debacle. Well, wait a minute. In this case, it involves Netflix and their stock has tanked in the last year, so maybe the 500,000 subscribers that gave up their subscriptions had something to do with it.

Variety reports:

Netflix loves to tout its culture of avoiding rules and minimizing corporate red tape. But of course, the company does have operating guidelines, famously detailed in the Netflix Culture document posted on its website. Co-founder Reed Hastings even wrote a 2020 book elaborating on the principles, titled “No Rules Rules: Netflix and the Culture of Reinvention.”

Now Netflix is publishing an update to its corporate culture memo for the first time in nearly five years, a copy of which Variety obtained exclusively ahead of its release Thursday. The last major update was in 2017, when it distilled Hastings’ original 125-slide presentation from 2009 (which has been viewed more than 21 million times).

How woke of them.

The core principles of the Netflix Culture memo, including empowering employee decision-making, requiring candid feedback and terminating staffers who aren’t up to “dream team” snuff, remain intact. But there are some key changes. For starters, the document has a new title: “Netflix Culture — Seeking Excellence” (previously it was simply called “Netflix Culture”).

More significantly, the document adds a new directive for employees to act with fiscal responsibility — a change that comes as Netflix in Q1 saw its first decline in subscribers in more than a decade. The updated Netflix Culture memo also includes a new section called “Artistic Expression,” explaining that the streamer will not “censor specific artists or voices” even if employees consider the content “harmful,” and bluntly states, “If you’d find it hard to support our content breadth, Netflix may not be the best place for you.”

This is a big deal. Don’t forget, this a streaming platform that has Susan Rice on the board and gave a multi-million dollar contract to the Obamas. They are also making a series about a “pregnant man”.

But woke politics has killed them. They’ve lost tons of subscribers and their stock is tanking (over 40%). What’s worse, people have options. I dropped Netflix and haven’t missed it.

That’s what is great about this. It shows that the people and the market have the ultimate power. It also shows that stakeholder capitalism isn’t what’s going to keep a company successful. It’s shareholder capitalism. The shareholders, who invest in Netflix, are the ones who hold the power over the company. In other words, money talks and BS walks.

I can’t wait to see what is going to happen to Disney. They are getting the same crap.

They Actually Used the Right Pronouns

According to Fox News:

Three Wisconsin boys are facing sexual harassment charges from their middle school over accusations that they used incorrect gender pronouns on a fellow student.

Yep, that’s a thing right now.

The mother of one of the kids, Rosemary Rabidoux, said:

“I received a phone call from the principal over at the elementary school, forewarning me; letting me know that I was going to be receiving an email with sexual harassment allegations against my son. I immediately went into shock. I’m thinking, sexual harassment? That’s rape, that’s inappropriate touching, that’s incest. What has my son done?”

But it wasn’t any of that. By the way, the kid is a straight A student and an introvert. I saw him on television and he looks like a typical nerd. Also, what Rabidoux described is what Title IX defines of harassment. This school is trying to cancel these kids at the age of 13 because they didn’t use some kid’s pronouns that he defined a month before.

Brad Ebert, the school district’s superintendent, told ABC 2 News:

“The KASD prohibits all forms of bullying and harassment in accordance with all laws, including Title IX, and will continue to support ALL students regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, creed, pregnancy, marital status, parental status, sexual orientation, sex (including transgender status, change of sex or gender identity), or physical, mental, emotional or learning disability (“Protected Classes”) in any of its student programs and activities; this is consistent with school board policy. We do not comment on any student matters.”

Here’s the problem with this statement: They weren’t bullying anyone. They just used the proper pronouns for this kid.

That’s another thing. This kid’s pronoun were “they” and “them”. Those are plural pronouns that do not describe an individual. These kids are being condemned for using correct English. Think of that. You still think homeschooling is a bad idea?

Well, It Is a Bad Idea

Wait, before you homeschool your kids, you must understand that homeschooling is racist (what a great transition, huh?)

MSNBC released an op-ed that says that homeschooling is racist. It is called How the Conservative Christian Right is Hijacking Homeschooling by Anthea Butler.

Let’s go through it:

“Public education has become public enemy No. 1,” the actor Kirk Cameron opines in a promotion for “The Homeschool Awakening,” his documentary scheduled to hit theaters in June. The documentary, funded by the Trinity Broadcasting Network and Cameron’s own Camfam Studios, argues that parents should be homeschooling their children in the wake of the pandemic. However, as Cameron’s quote indicates, this latest project of conservative evangelical education is another salvo in the ongoing evangelical war against public schools.

Pay attention to the language. Notice that she talks about the “attack” on public schools? This opening paragraph, to be a real work of journalism, should also talk about this conflict being fought from both sides.

It should come as no surprise that evangelicals, fundamentalists and other religious conservatives have fought against public education since the U.S. Supreme Court’s 1954 decision in Brown v. Board of Education. The prospect of integrated schools led to the creation of many “segregation academies,” private schools designed to keep African American children and undesirable immigrant groups away from white children. But there was another, more insidious way to circumvent integration: homeschooling.

That’s right, religious conservatives are racist!

By the way, who fought against the ruling and want to continue Jim Crow laws? That’s right, southern Democrats. Joe Biden worked with a bunch of them.

One of the main purveyors of homeschooling was a fundamentalist, Rousas Rushdoony, whose work beginning in the 1960s in establishing Christian day schools grew into the homeschooling movement. He saw homeschooling as a way to cut the government out of educating Christian children and to prepare them to take their place in a theocratic government. Julie Ingersoll, author of “Building God’s Kingdom: Inside the World of Christian Reconstruction,” says Rushdoony “was one of the intellectual godfathers of the Religious Right, but he is often treated like a crazy uncle.”

Crazy or not, homeschooling materials inspired by Rushdoony’s theology are on sale today to parents who homeschool in America, and many of those materials reached parents during the pandemic. Cameron’s documentary promoting homeschooling is not an aberration; it is part of a larger project about dismantling the public education system in the United States.

Wow, what a conspiracy! Christian children should learn about Christianity in their education instead of getting the secular garbage that they get in public school.

I know they hate that Rushdoony’s haven’t been banned and this gets Leftists very upset. Maybe if Rushdoony but reference the male girls and dildos, it would be more acceptable to the Left. books like that are in public libraries and are part of the curriculum.

This dismantling has taken shape over the years in various ways: in segregation academies, in school vouchers, in attempts to dismantle the U.S. Department of Education and even with former President Donald Trump’s appointment of Betsy DeVos to lead that department. Now that her time in government is done, DeVos is speaking at homeschooling conventions, to promote homeschooling and to disparage critical race theory and other “detriments to education.”

School vouchers? Don’t those allow parents to choose what school their kids can go to. Doesn’t that give parents a choice and control the directions of their children’s education? Isn’t the freedom to choose by parents a good thing? Not to the teacher’s unions.

And I thought the schools weren’t teaching critical race theory? Have the public schools been lying to us?

Cameron’s documentary furthers the long-term goal of America’s religious conservatives to dismantle the public school system by promoting homeschooling, an idea that grew in popularity during the pandemic among parents who wanted to make sure their children kept up academically and avoided the coronavirus. According to a report from the U.S. Census Bureau in the fall of 2020, 11.1 percent of parents said their children were homeschooled, compared to 5.4 percent that spring.

Some of that increase may be attributed to Black parents and other diverse groups who are now finding homeschooling as an attractive alternative. Yet some parents have expressed frustration with conservative Christian materials for homeschooling, which drive the current marketplace. And other professional educators have issued dire warnings about homeschooling, including issues regarding a lack of oversight and the increased potential for child abuse.

Here’s the thing, I want to dismantle the school system too. I want the system to become far more privatized and funded by communities. I don’t want government running schools because the government sucks at everything and they have a tendency to teach children what they want children to know (indoctrination). I want parents and communities to control education. But this is not what Cameron’s documentary does. He’s just showing the problems and secularism in the schools and encourages parents to go in a different direction.

The second thing I want to point out is the doubling of children being homeschooled. She does not mention why. Could it be because their kids have been stuck at home for two years and the teachers never want to go back to school? Because it looks like the schools look like they don’t care about their kids? Could it be that the parents have seen what their kids are being taught and not taught and decided they could do it better?

Notice she just skips over the fact that blacks are also leaving the school system?

Cameron’s homeschooling documentary comes at a time of contentious debate about critical race theory, LGBTQ issues, transgender children and Florida’s “Don’t Say Gay” law. Like the documentary itself, those new laws are designed to weaken already debilitated public school systems that are dealing with limited funding, staffing and violence issues. Attempts by religious conservatives to prohibit certain subjects deemed dangerous or inappropriate are not new, but they are now coming in multiple waves across the country.

Why is there debate about all this? I thought the schools weren’t teaching any critical race theory, gender theory and weren’t trans-ing the kids? That’s what we’ve been told.

Could it be that they are teaching this crap and parents don’t want this?

Homeschooling may have greater appeal now because of these debates and the desire for parents to play a big part in their children’s educational life. It may also arise out of pandemic concerns, but parents unfamiliar with the existing networks of homeschooling run the danger of being drawn into Christian conservative networks and theocratic teaching. Cameron’s says that people choosing homeschooling are having an awakening, but the public needs to awaken to the reality that public schools may disappear if people with his extreme beliefs have their way.

Some things about this article:

• It does nothing but condemns the religious right and does not defend the public schools at all.
• The article implies racism but doesn’t explain why black parents are homeschooling their kids.
• It doesn’t bring up any of the debate points like what is wrong with Critical Race Theory or Critical Gender Theory.
• It assumes the kids are actually learning what is important in public schools and doesn’t present stats that would prove it.
• It doesn’t mention any of the benefits of homeschooling.
• It doesn’t mention any of the negatives of standardized school. They waste a lot of time.
• She assumes that homeschooling requires religious education. It doesn’t.
• Finally, it demonizes religion.

Public schools are not about teaching math and reading anymore. They are about indoctrinating kids into some of the most perverse philosophies on planet Earth. Philosophies that not only pervert the kids but are made to destroy the nuclear family. Need proof? Parents are getting it that’s why homeschooling has doubled in the last two years and 1 in 10 kids are being homeschooled now. As time goes by, I expect that this is going to go up.

What is the Real Tragedy?

There was a mass shooting n Buffalo, New York on Saturday.

• An 18 year old man walked into a grocery store and shot 13 people, killing 10.
• 11 of the people shot were black.
• He was dressed in full tactical gear including a helmet and was carrying a semiautomatic rifle.
• The shooter live streamed the shooting on Twitch.
  • When Twitch discovered the shooting, they pulled it down.
  • Twitch said the live stream ended after two minutes.
  • It is unclear if the live stream had any of the shooting.
• The shooter posted a 180-page manifesto with anti-Semitic and racist rants.
  • The manifesto was posted in a Q&A format like the Christchurch shooter.
  • He was radicalized online while bored from being locked up during the pandemic.
  • He did not meet with anyone or did not belong to any group.
  • He stated that he hated that the white race was being filtered out through mixed relationships and it had to stop.
  • The police think it is authentic but are still investigating.
• He has been planning the attack since January.
• He picked the spot because it had the highest black population based on the zip code.
• He was going to walk through the neighborhood streets, continuing the attack but broke it off.
•  He was arrested and faced first degree murder charges.
• He is facing life in prison.

It did not take long before this was politicized. This things follows three narratives that the media loves:

• The country is racist and filled with white supremacists.
  • The idea is all these mass killing are all by white supremacists.
  • CNN released an article showing five mass killings were by white supremacists.
    • One was from 2012.
    • They failed to mention the mass shooting of the Brooklyn subway that was done by a black supremacists.
    • They failed to mention the mass shooting by the Black Hebrew Israelites supporter (a black supremacist group) against the people within a Jewish store.
    • They failed to mention the mask killings of the Waukesha black supremacist.
    • They failed to mention that the biggest mass shootings of the year were by black gang members.
• All Republicans are racist and supported the shooter.
• The need for gun control.
• And how bad social media is.

There are some things the media won’t talk too much about:

• He was radicalized while alone,  on the Internet, during the lockdowns. He should have been in school.
• Last year,  he was investigated for saying he wanted to commit a mass shooting. Nothing was done. Another example how the system failed.
• On his rifle were the names of the Waukesha victims. This victims were killed by a black supremacist. This will be the Civil War people keep talking about.

You know what’s really sad? The first thing I think about is, “I hope this guy isn’t white.” I am relieved when I find out the shooter is a person of color and then I can concentrate on the tragedy.

This is a Real Problem

I went to a target and decided to cruise down the baby formula aisle to see how bad the situation is. Guess what? It’s bad. The aisle was empty.

The Biden administration said they knew about this issue back in February. That begs the question: What have you guys been doing about it? Needless to say, they did not have an answer. When asked about what parents should do if they cannot find any formula, Jenn Psaki had a great answer:

They have no answer. They are doing what they have always done. They are reacting to problems instead of preventing little problems become big problems.

But do you know who is not having issues getting baby formula? Illegal aliens.

A whistleblower released a photo of pallets of baby formula being sent to the border for illegal aliens. The administration doesn’t deny this is happening.

Washington Post fact checker, Glen Kessler said that illegal aliens getting priority for baby formula over Americans is “faux outrage”:

“This is a ridiculous faux outrage. The shortage of baby formula is a serious issue that the administration is seeking to address. But at the same time, the administration cannot be faulted for following the law and providing baby formula to undocumented immigrants.”

Then he sited the 1997 Flores Settlement, which details how border facilities must meet the basic needs of detained illegal immigrant minors, including providing age-appropriate food and drink.

Couple of things here. First, he’s not saying that there is not a formula shortage. He just says that we, as Americans, have no right to be upset that our government is giving criminals formula for their babies when citizens can’t find formula for our babies. Second, this guy must not have any kids and must hate Americans as much as the Biden administration. Can imagine the gall of saying such a thing?

Speaking of gall, there Bette Midler. Bette Midler had a great answer for all those parents that are worried that their kids might starve. She tweeted:

“TRY BREASTFEEEDING! It’s free and available on demand.”

Mind you, Bette only has one kid and  I’m pretty sure she used formula because an elitist like that wouldn’t want to be inconvenienced. Not to mention, as a woman, you’d think she’d know that not all women can breast feed.

Aren’t those Leftist a sensitive, empathetic bunch?

 

Here’s the Story

There are a bunch of reasons why we are having this shortage. Most incline government incompetence.

• Baby formula production is down by 43%.
• There are only four formula manufacturers.  Government regulations make budding producers think twice.
• One manufacturer,  Abbott, had a plant shut down in February because of a bacteria outbreak. Abbott said they had no signs of the bacteria. The FDA shut down the plant anyway.
• There were four kids sickened and one died. The FDA did not  investigate the parents on how they gave or handled the formula. They just shut down the factory.
• Europe has a glut of formula, but regulations,  mostly concerning labeling,  and  a 17% tariff are stopping us from importing it.
• Hell, Mexico has a lot of formula but it’s illegal to bring it into the country.

I believe the Biden administration did know about this months ago. I also believe the Biden administration doesn’t want to be involved in a lot of starving babies. Yes, I don’t think they care much. But I also think they can’t handle this.

Everything this administration does has proven to be wrong. I don’t think this is on purpose. They’re just really bad at this. I’ll go a step further, government is bad at this. Bureaucracy is bad at this. The Founding Fathers knew this. That’s why the Constitution was written the way it was. And they feared what is happening now would happen.

The Biden administration does not prevent, they react. They don’t know how to prevent. This administration is in such a mess, all they can do is react because there is too much to prevent. Afghanistan is the main example. What they can’t fix, they just lie and deny.

This administration is stuck in their ideology. The Great Reset. The environment. Their base. They focus on that no matter what happens to some of the little people. Remember, for the Greater Good. This is why soaring gas prices, inflation, food shortages is seen as a good thing. It is part of bringing on the Greater Good.

Finally, there is an elite class. That class all believes the same thing. It’s not all about money in that class. If it was, Elon Musk would be embraced right now.

The Temper Tantrums Continue

We know that Leftists can’t control themselves when they don’t get their way. So what’s the best way to get their point across? How about protesting at Catholic churches on Mother’s Day (which they hate because…well…mothers are awesome) and the homes Supreme Court justices?

This weekend, a groups known as Ruth Sent Us organized a walkthrough protest of the homes on=f the Supreme Court justices. This included them posting the home addresses of the Conservative justices: Clarence Thomas, Amy Coney Barrett, Brett Kavanagh (they hate anyway), Neil Gorsuch and John Roberts. These were called “walkthrough protests” which means these protests were meant to be peaceful. Security for the justices was increased and so far there has been no violence.

The other thing they decided to do was protest the Catholic church. These morons entered a church in New York, dressed in Handmaid’s Tale outfits and started singing about killing babies. The group is encouraging pro-abortion Catholics and Evangelicals (that’s an oxymoron) to disrupt services. I’ll have to point out Islamist mosques and Jewish temples are not being protested. Last I heard, those group are just as anti-abortion as Christians. Can we finally admit anti Christian hate?

I will have to create a video of the various protests. A bunch of people are pointing out that these tantrums are not helping their cause. The black guys dressed in drag with newspaper shoved in his shirt to simulate him being pregnant, dancing around in front of a church isn’t a good look.

In a show of what can only be called hate, a Christian posted a requests to pray with activists from Ruth Sent Us. They replied with:

“Stuff your rosaries and your weaponized prayer. We will remain outraged after this weekend, so keep praying. We’ll be burning the Eucharist to show our disgust for the abuse Catholic Churches have condoned for centuries.”

“Weaponized prayer”? This is nothing more than hate. And just to show you how out clueless this group is, Ruth Bader Ginsberg herself said that Roe versus Wade was a bad ruling and abortion needed to be codified by law.

Jen Psaki was asked several times about the leaked documents and the protests at the homes of the doxed Supreme Court justices. She answered in the same:

Interesting. She says abortion has been a fundamental right for 50 years. Can we assume it hasn’t been a fundamental right for the last 250 years? Can we assume, by her statement, the Biden administration knows abortion is not in the Constitution? If it is not, can we assume Roe versus Wade is unconstitutional?

The answer is yes on all questions.

The Biden administration just doesn’t care because they go along with the extremists. How much do they go along with the extremists? Leave it to Peter Doocy of Fox News to pull the answer from Jen Psaki:

Democrats really think this is the platform to run on. They think this will make us forget about the economy, the open borders, CRT and CGT in schools, Afghanistan and his other foreign policy disasters. Democrats also assume most of the country is into radical abortion values.

I don’t want to hear any more whining and crying about January 6th. What the radical Left believes is so much worse, so much more violent, so much more frequent and so much more disgraceful.

 

I Don’t Think They’re Aware of Anything

The Washington D.C. Metro police released a statement stating the understood the concerns about the First Amendment conflict:

“MPD is aware of potential disruptions associated with First Amendment demonstrations. MPD will be monitoring, assessing and planning accordingly with our local and federal partners. We have increased available resources, including the activation of our Civil Disturbance Units, in preparation for these activities.”

Of course, anyone with half a mind would ask, “What does that mean?” They were asked about that and there was no reply.

Here’s the thing: A right is a right if it does not impede on the rights of others.

If these protestors are protesting outside a church without impeding or threatening the congregants, fine. It’s tacky, cheap, misdirected and, as we’ll see, counter productive, but it’s their right.

But if they impede the congregants (which is a crime) or they walk into the church to disrupt the service (which is also a crime), they have impeded the rights of others and can’t scream First Amendment anymore.

The problem I see is the police seem to weigh the First Amendment right of the protestors with more weight than the First Amendment rights of the churchgoers. This is what happens when one group demonizes and other group. They are see as less human and less deserving. They shouldn’t have rights.

All This for Nothing

These protests are threatening and silly but so far they haven’t been violent. Don’t count on that lasting much longer. But, one thing I asked myself, was what is their point? They are not changing anyone’s mind. I fact, it appears to be doing the opposite effect.

According to the Washington Post The five justices who want to overturn Roe still want it overturned. Chief Justice John Roberts (probably one of the worst chief justices in history) is trying to convince Barrett and Kavanaugh to accept a more incremental ruling to putting limits on abortion (which, so far isn’t working). This is probably why the opinion hasn’t been released early.

Clarence Thomas also said that the court wasn’t going to be manipulated by public opinion. He said at a judicial conference on Friday:

“We are becoming addicted to wanting particular outcomes, not living with the outcomes we don’t like. We can’t be an institution that can be bullied into giving you just the outcomes you want. The events from earlier this week are a symptom of that.”

This is what the leaker and the unhinged protestors don’t get. This is probably going to have the opposite affect.

• First, if the Supreme Court changes its mind, the mob will win and we can expect more leaks like this in the future because it will have worked.
• Second, this will be seen as the most cowardly Supreme Court in history. None of them are going to want that. By the way, Chief Justice Roberts is the epitome of a coward.
• Third, the Conservative justices know this will end the Founding Fathers vision of the Supreme Court. It will just become another political branch of the government. For all intents and purposes, this will end respect for the Constitution and we might as well just elect judges.
• Finally, Justice Alito’s opinion was on mark. Anybody who knows Roe versus Wade knows it.

The Senate voted on an extreme version of abortion. It didn’t go well.

Lori Lightfoot is ready to go to war over abortion but no one is sure what she’s going to fight with.

Dems Are Going All In

The Democrats are going all in on this abortion thing. They’ve decided, for some reason, this is the thing to run on.

Chuck Schumer decided to put a radical abortion bill to a vote on the Senate floor.

A Democrat-sponsored bill that would have legalized abortion through all nine months of pregnancy failed in the Senate on Wednesday by a vote of 51-49.

The bill is known as the Women’s Health Protection Act passed the House in September and would have allowed abortion up to birth. It was not a codifying Roe versus Wade. Not one Republican voted for it and Democrat Joe Manchin voted against it.

Some things about this:

• What was this suppose to accomplish?
  • This was a radical bill that went beyond Roe versus Wade.
  • It shows Democrats actually want to kill viable babies.
  • There was no way it was going to pass so it is a loss for the Democrats.
• Most people do not support this type of radical abortion laws.
• There is now screaming about the filibuster, especially from Elizabeth Warren. They didn’t even get 50 votes. The filibuster did not come into play.

Just dumb. It shows that the Democrats are a mess.

This Is Just Not Right

This is just a sad story and has a special place in my heart.

According to the Daily Wire:

Data from the CDC’s National Vital Statistics System for the year 2021 predicted that 107,622 Americans have died from drug overdoses. The data is not final, and could be under-reported because the data is not complete, but it would mark the largest number of Americans who have died from drug overdoses on record in a single year, and an increase of about 15% from 2020, when 93,655 people died from overdoses. Overdose deaths have also increased by about 50% since 2019 when around 72,000 people died of drug overdoses.

• California led the nation in total overdose deaths, with 11,704 predicted deaths for the year 2021.
• Florida came in second, with 8,171 predicted deaths.

• California also led the nation in year-over-year increases, with about 2,100 more deaths in 2021 than in 2020.

People are blaming the pandemic for the increase in drug overdose deaths.

Maritza Perez, director of national affairs for the Drug Policy Alliance, said:

“The pandemic really upended so many people’s lives, especially people already living at the margins. People lost their jobs, they were isolated. These are all factors that increase problematic drug use.”

We need to remember this the next time we run into a pandemic and it will happen. We have basically destroyed the country over the overreaction to this pandemic. People have died, not only from the China virus, but from the bad policies we put in place.

But the article also skips kind of an important piece. Illegal immigration. Most of the fentanyl in this country is coming over the border. China and Mexico are using the open border to get drugs into this country.

You knew who knew that? President Trump.

Former Defense Secretary under Trump, Mark Esper, claims in his upcoming book that Trump on two occasions wanted to launch some patriot missiles into Mexico to destroy the cartel’s drug labs. The missiles could be launched secretly and the United States could deny they did it. Esper said this would not be a good idea.

Esper was not a fan of Donald Trump. According to the Daily Caller:

Esper also claims Trump is “an unprincipled person who, given his self-interest, should not be in the position of public service.” Esper allegedly considered resigning several times but was allegedly worried that should he resign he would be replaced with a pro-Trump loyalist, which Esper believed would be unfair to the American people.

I am very skeptical of folks that worked with Trump. Many don’t like him. But do I think Trump might have said this? Yes. I would bet a buffalo nickel on it.

Heck, I have always thought we were going to need to do something about these drug cartels. I have even said the best way to deal with them is to go in militarily. We can do that on the basis that the cartels are a clear and present danger to the United States. With 107,000 people dying of drug overdoses, I think the argument is pretty solid especially since Mexico can’t seem to control the cartels for whatever reason.

Trump’s idea might not have been the best, though I think it is, but at least he’s acknowledging a problem and thinking outside the box to solve the problem and protect Americans. Do you see any other politicians doing anything or even acknowledging the the real crisis?

I’m Not Seeing the Math

Chicago mayor, Lori Lightfoot, probably the worst mayor in America today, decided to throw her hat in the abortion debate.

OK, there are some real problems with this:

• Lori Lightfoot is a lesbian. What does she care about abortion? She can’t get pregnant.
• What does the LGBTQ+ community have to do with abortion? Most of them can’t get pregnant.
• Call to arms? Really? In Chicago? I’ll take that fight!
  • Chicago has the most restrictive gun control laws in the country.
  • The only people that have guns are the criminals.
  • What are they going to fight with? Sticks?

This is what the pro-abortion Democrats are doing. They are trying to conflate abortion with all the other economic and intersectional talking points available out there.

• LGBTQ+ needs abortion.
• Gas prices need abortion.

Madonna, the 63-year-old singer has figured out a way to make money in her old age.

According to the New York Post:

The 63-year-old singer teamed up with nonfungible token extraordinaire Beeple to create a series of X-rated graphics showing her fully nude and giving birth to butterflies, insects and trees. Called “Mother of Creation,” the NFT collection, which will be sold for charity, also includes a 3D model of Madonna’s vagina — which is on full display in cartoon form on the collection’s highly (don’t say we didn’t warn you) NSFW website.

What is an NFT you might ask. It stands for nonfungible token and what it is a unique digital asset that cannot be copied and that there is only one of. Basically, it is a digital piece “artwork” that is unique and its uniqueness is determined by an encryption token built within it. It’s hard to believe that someone could go into Photoshop and create a picture that someone would pay good money for but there are. One NFT sold for $91 million.

Anyway, Madonna made three NFT videos with her naked and flashing her cooch around.

• Mother of Creation where a tree grows out her cooch.
• Mother of Evolution where butterflies fly out of her cooch.
• Mother of technology where robot worms crawl out of her cooch.

Why anyone would want bugs crawling out of her cooch, I don’t not know but whatever. Here is an example of one of her NFTs.

Yeah, it’s crap but someone will pay for it. Good news, it is going to charity but this shows how desperate Madonna is for attention.

An Elite Get Together

On Saturday night, they held the White House Correspondence Dinner. If you don’t know what that is, it’s a celebration of the news media. It is usually run by a comedian and he roasts the President. It has not been really a thing anyone paid attention to over the last several years. It was not held last year because of the China virus and President Trump never went because he hates the media.

Per tradition, there are always some really distasteful jokes. Remember, this was the same dinner where a comedian made fun of Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ looks. Which, by the way, she took like a champ.

What was distressing people on Twitter and I don’t blame them was the fact that Joe Biden was laughing hysterically. I can’t think of anything more elitist than a President that laughs at the mess he created.

And people are suffering. Josie spent $250 at the grocery store and that goes along with the $250 she had to pay for her car registration. This is killing her financially. It really is no laughing matter. But Old Joe doesn’t take the economy serious and doesn’t care. It doesn’t affect him.

I always give comedians a pass. Comedians are there to pick at things. I wasn’t that offended too much about this and, honestly, it was just a bad joke. But it was ill-timed. By the way, he isn’t the first comedian to do this. Gilbert Godfry (may he rest in peace) made a poorly timed joke about 9/11 during a roast of Hugh Hefner that left the crowd silent and one person yelling, “too soon”.

This was an ill-timed joke. Some soldiers of fortune are saying there are 10,000 American citizens and American allies stuck in Afghanistan and left to the tender mercies of the Taliban. Thirteen soldiers will killed in a terrorist attack. We left $83 billion dollars in military gear including helicopter, drones and weapons. Human sex trafficking is happening. The economy is dying. People are starving. Nothing has been resolved and the Afghanistan disaster isn’t over.

Yeah, the joke was, not only not funny, it was ill-timed.

You Knew This Was Coming

According to the Daily Wire:

Senate Democrats are contemplating bringing billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk before Congress for questioning over his future plans for Twitter.

Twitter announced on Monday that the social media giant and Musk, the world’s wealthiest man, had reached an agreement for Musk to purchase the company at $54.20 a share and take it private. Musk has criticized Twitter’s moderation policies and said that the platform should take an approach more in line with the First Amendment.

“We’re thinking about it,” Senate Commerce Chair Maria Cantwell (D-WA) told Bloomberg in response to a question on whether Democrats planned to question Musk.

The Senate Commerce Committee has held hearings with major social media platform heads in the past, such as former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, who heads Facebook and Instagram. The committee has also had Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai to testify.

You knew this was coming. What do they want to find out? It’s going to be a private company. Musk doesn’t have to say a damn thing about what his strategies for his private company. Every company I worked for had company secrets that were never disclosed to the public. You could be fired for disclosing secrets.

Ed Markey, the communist; yes, communist, Senator from Massachusetts said:

“It’s a technology which is central to democracy and our economy and it is important for the representatives of the American people to hear what the new owners intend on using that technology to accomplish. We have to understand the censorship or lack thereof, content moderation or not, that is going to be the policy for the new owner.

“In terms of what the values are that this company is going to be creating for the new Elon Musk Twitter world, I think that’s actually a necessary role for Congress to play.”

He never condemned Twitter when they censored Republicans and Conservatives. He never questioned Google or YouTube or Facebook or Instagram or TikTok.

Again, it’s going to be a private company. Musk owes Congress nothing.

Listen, what Democrats are worried about is that Musk is going to do what he said he was going to do: allow for free speech, limit censorship and release data on the algorithms. Leftists don’t want any of that stuff.

Modern Book Burning by Amazon

There is a children’s book out there by a guy named Matt Walsh, a podcaster from the Daily Wire. The book is called Johnny the Walrus. The book is about a very imaginative boy that, one day, believes he’s a walrus. His mother, at first, thinks it’s cute but then is pressured by social media to realize that Johnny actually is a walrus and she must transition him to be a walrus.

Yes, the book is a troll railing against trans-ing kids. I will read the book to you in a video cast this week (I did buy the book).

The book, though a joke for the most part, became extremely popular. It was released in November and sold out in a day. Millions of copies were created and sold on Amazon. Matt Walsh went to number one on the Amazon charts and has been in the top three for LGBTQ literature.

Needless to say, this flipped out Amazon management. They needed to do something. So they had a meeting that was, again, leaked and his book was the topic.

Some things:

• The book is a 27-page children’s board book.
• It is not troubling or traumatic.
• I also want to point out that all these people in this video sound like they are part of the LGBTQ community so I bet they are biased.

Here’s this gal bitching and moaning to Amazon about the book. It’s a little long but worth the listen.

Some things:

• This broad is unhinged.
• There is nothing in the book about bullying. In fact, it is the mother that is being bullied by the trans community.
• There is nothing about sending someone to kill trans kids.
• There is nothing in the book about committing or forcing someone to commit suicide.
• And, of course, she’s part of the LGBTQ and the Amazon employee on the phone is part of the LGBTQ.
• This gal needs a job. She has way too much time on her hands.

• There is no hate in the book. It disparages no one. It condemns no one.
• Walsh and the Daily Wire did not manipulate anything. They did add it as an LGBTQ book as a counter to all the other LGBTQ trans books out there. There’s nothing wrong with that.
• The book sold out. Did the Daily Wire, who published the book, manipulate everyone to buy the book? That’s why it ended up #1 in the LGBTQ section.
• Maybe they should be more concerned about the other books in the LGBTQ category sucking.

• There’s nothing disturbing here. Walsh, and most of the country, don’t believe in this transgender crap.
• Walsh isn’t “tricking” anybody. He’s very clear about what he thinks of trans-ing kids.
• The books, What Is a Woman, is his main argument with the trans community. He doesn’t believe in people transitioning to the opposite sex because it doesn’t happen.
• Whenever he debates, and he does a lot, the first thing he asks the pro-trans person is, “What is a woman?” and they have no answer.
• The title of his book is his main argument against the trans philosophy.

Finally, we get the emotional response to such a “hateful” white supremacist. Tears included:

Jeez, toughen up, buttercup. It’s a children’s board book.

Amazon ended up taking the book off of the LGBTQ list and forced the publisher to cease with their advertising campaign because it was “hateful”. The Daily Wire said “no” so Amazon took it off the site anyway. As of today, they haven’t banned the book yet. I’m pretty sure they won’t because it is making a ton of money and Amazon will get sued.

It is still number one in political commentary and opinion.

Joe Biden did a press conference yesterday and it didn’t go well at all. He spoke at a teacher of the year event at the White House (don’t get me started on the teachers of the year crap).

The head of the Department of Homeland Security, Alejandro Myorkas, spoke in front of Congress yesterday. He was addressing his failure on the border (which he said he was not failing and everything is fine). But I’m not going to talk about this. He made another announcement about creating a department of misinformation in the DHS.

Gee, what a coincidence that they decide to do this right before an election that they are going to get smoked in and after Elon Musk buys Twitter. This is very dystopian, tight out of George Orwell’s 1984.

But, what’s worse, the head of the agency, Nina Jankowicz, is a Left wing hack. The New York Post put out an article basically saying that she notorious for spreading disinformation!

Here’s what they said she did:

• She embraced and promoted the bogus Clinton-campaign-created Trump-Russia dossier.
• She waged war on The Post’s true and accurate reporting of Hunter Biden’s laptop.
• She worked for the far Leftwing Wilson Center.
• She frequently writes hit pieces for lefty news outlets.

The NY Post stated:

Look: She’s a career left-wing partisan, from her days working at the National Democratic Institute to her Fulbright-Clinton fellowship to her gig at the left-leaning Wilson Center where she routinely did media hits with NPR, CNN, PBS and so on while placing New York Times and Washington Post opeds. He Should Have Married a Woman

According to the Daily Wire:

A “fictosexual” man can no longer communicate with his “wife” of four years. Akihiko Kondo, a 38-year-old Japanese man, wed a holographic image of the blue-haired anime character Hatsune Miku in 2018. The character is described as 16 years old, the New York Post reported.  

Kondo fell in love with the character in 2008 after he became ostracized from his peers following intense bullying at work. Technology made it possible for the anime fan to interact with her beginning in 2017 thanks to a Gatebox machine. This $1,300 device allows users to interact with characters using holograms. This was also how Kondo was able to “marry” the object of his affection.

Believe it or not, fictosexuals are part of the LGBTQ community.

According to TheFocus, “fictosexual is also an umbrella term that encompasses a list of other identities including more specific attractions such as novel/visual characters (booklosexual) and vampire-related characters (tobousexual).”

They fall under the asexual spectrum because they’re not attracted to people. Unsurprisingly, this group has their own version of the pride flag.

Apparently, the company that made the hologram went out of business and no longer support the hologram machine. There ended up being a software glitch and now the guy can’t talk to the hologram anymore.

• Specialist Bishop Evans jumps into the Rio Grande River to rescue a person crossing illegally over the border.
• Evans goes under the water and that’s the last time he’s seen. A search begins to find the body because the National Guard said he was gone.
• The two people he rescued turned out to be drug smugglers from a cartel.
• That happened on Friday. There was no statement from the Biden administration. on Friday.
• On Saturday, the Biden administration doesn’t say anything. The search for the body continues.
• On Sunday, the Biden administration doesn’t say anything. The search for the body continues.
• On Monday, the Biden administration doesn’t say anything. The body is found.

On Monday afternoon, with no comment from Joe Biden, Jen Psaki has her daily press conference. She is asked about Bishop Evans and this is what she says:

Oh, that’s your response? Really, Joe can’t express his outrage?

He had no problems “expressing” his outrage when Border Patrol was riding horses and it looked like the horse reigns got close to the illegal aliens as if they might be whipping them. And that’s the best response from this administration?

As of Tuesday, Joe Biden hasn’t said anything about this. Is it because it’s his fault? Well, a reporter asked Jen about that. Here’s her response:

Oh, so it’s Texas’ fault. Last I checked, border security was the job of the federal government. The job of the state government is to protect the state residents. So, if the federal government doesn’t do its job and the state citizens are facing danger from illegal aliens, and the state does something and someone does because the federal government didn’t do anything, its still the state’s fault?

Yeah, run on this. I know Republicans are.

By the way, so are Democrats in Texas, Arizona and Nevada. The same Arizona and Nevada that were purple states and will be red in November.

By the way, Joe Biden still hasn’t addressed this.

 

Speaking of the Border

Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt announced Monday afternoon:

“In a lawsuit originally filed by Missouri, Louisiana, and Arizona, our Office just obtained a temporary restraining order to keep Title 42 in place. This is a huge victory for border security, but the fight continues on.”

Just a reminder, Title 42 is a Trump era policy that allows the Border Patrol to send captured illegal aliens back over the border due to the China virus. It was set to expire on May 23. DHS has estimated that, if the order ended, up to 18,000 people a day could cross the border. To give an example of the problem that could come about, we are currently being overwhelmed and only see about 6000 a day. The Border Patrol says the max they can deal with is about 1500 a day.

The Biden administration was going to let the policy end with putting any other rules in place, basically opening the borders. The Biden administration says it will respect the ruling.

In other border news, the Supreme Court is hearing arguments for the Migrant Protection Protocols better known as the Remain in Mexico policy. That law was also brought on by Trump to make it that people have to wait in Mexico while their asylum claims are being processed. The Biden cancelled that policy his first day in office but Texas and Missouri sued.

Those opposing the policy say it can create a dangerous situation for the migrants waiting in Mexico, where conditions aren’t always healthy or safe. DHS also says the program puts strain on the United States’ relationship with Mexico.

Those who like the policy say it is a useful deterrence to potential illegal aliens. It did work. Under this policy during the Trump administration, illegal immigration lowered to about 30,000 a month.

I don’t think any of this matters. The Biden administration has neutered the Border Patrol to the point they can’t stop anybody.

Our approach to this billion-dollar industry is as both a cultural phenomenon that reflects and reinforces sexual inequalities (but holds the potential to challenge sexual and gender norms) and as an art form that requires serious contemplation. We will watch pornographic films together and discuss the sexualization of race, class, and gender as an experimental, radical art form.

Awesome. That will give the nerds something to do during the week besides playing video games and D&D. You know men will be taking this class in the hopes of finding some freakish female students. But you know this is going to be a sausage-fest because no chick would take a class like this.

That’s Racist Now?

According to KIRO7:

“Pot,” “weed,” “grass,” “Mary Jane,” “flower” — there is no shortage of terms to describe cannabis. However, Washington state is taking one word officially off the table: “marijuana.”

Legislators recently passed a law that changes every Revised Code of Washington with the word “marijuana.” The change gets rid of the term, swapping it out for the word “cannabis.”

Supporters say the word “marijuana” has a long history of racism.

According to Washington state Rep. Melanie Morgan:

“The term ‘marijuana’ itself is pejorative and racist. As recreational marijuana use became more popular, it was negatively associated with Mexican immigrants. Even though it seems simple because it’s just one word, the reality is we’re healing the wrongs that were committed against Black and Brown people around cannabis.”

Joy Hollingsworth, who own a couple of pot farms in Washington and sells it legally along with hemp products, testified in front of the Washington lawmakers:

“It had been talked about for a long time in our community about how that word demonizes the cannabis plant. It was … Anslinger that said and I quote, ‘Marijuana is the most violent causing drug in the history of mankind. And most marijuana users are Negroes, Hispanic, Caribbean, and entertainers. Their satanic music, jazz and swing results from marijuana usage.’”

The quote she’s referencing is by Harry Anslinger, who was the first commissioner of the Federal Bureau of Narcotics (which later became the Drug Enforcement Administration). He was involved in the Marijuana Tax Act of 1937, which banned selling or possessing weed.

You know, I am glad they are doing this simply because cannabis is a lot easier to spell than marijuana. Even as I was writing this script, I misspelled marijuana. I don’t even call it marijuana, I call it weed so this is no skin off my neck.

The term marijuana comes from Spanish Mexico where they grew the plant for the hemp, not to smoke it. It was also grown in Asia, parts of Europe and the United States for the hemp. It was called marijuana long before people figured out is could be smoked. The term wasn’t coined because it was a drug. So their logic is way off and getting rid of the name because some obscure politician in 1937 said that people of color or colored people (whichever term is politically correct) used it.

Also, by changing the name, aren’t they confirming that people of color are the ones using it? Aren’t they showing their own racism? Here’s the thing, I didn’t marry the term marijuana with black people. I never thought of it because I know a ton of white people that smoke it. It’s the Washington “woke” politicians that pointed it out to me.

Finally, don’t the politicians in Washington state have more important things to do? They have high crime, a homeless problem, a drug problem and their state is still suffering from damages over the 2020 riots. Maybe the politicians in Washington should worry about those problems.

Twitter Has a New Boss!

Twitter is officially owned by Elon Musk. The reactions are just delicious. I talked about the deal yesterday and there’s not more to it. But the reactions are so funny, I can’t them go.

What is Elon Musk going to do? We don’t know. When the sale went through, he tweeted this:

• Create a subscription service for blue checkmarks.

• Create an edit feature for the tweets.
• Follow the laws of the countries it is allowed.

So, as you can imagine, the Left is flipping out.

 

The White House

Jen Psaki, during her press conference yesterday, was asked about the acquisition of Twitter by Elon Musk and what the White House was expecting.

Here is Psaki being asked about misinformation on social media. Listen carefully:

Some things:

• First off this is a loaded, leading question.
  • Who is the White House to talk about misinformation? They have been wrong about everything.
    • The vaccines.
    • Masks.
    • Hydroxychloroquine.
    • Ivermectin.
  • Most of the misinformation is coming from the White House. Who are they to determine who’s wrong?
• Psaki admits, again, that they are working with social media to censor what they want to censor. Which, by the way, makes social media the propaganda wing.
• And it took Musk, a free speech advocate, for the White House to ask Congress to do something. Interesting.

Here is Jen being asked if the President is upset that Trump might be allowed on the platform:

• She never answered the question.
• She brings up the reforms again. In other words, she’s threatening Twitter.

By the way, CNBC released an article saying the Biden administration is upset at the prospect of Trump going back on Twitter.

I don’t think Biden is upset about it. I don’t think he knows what’s going on. But this puts his candidacy for 2024 in jeopardy because Trump won the 2016 election on social media.

By the way, Trump said he would not go on Twitter because he wants to continue using his new platform, Truth Social. What a dumb idea.

The media is just as bad. The world is ending. I only found a couple but they were funny.

• How is this guy still on CNN. He fat, funny looking and can’t speak.
• His analogy is terrible. I don’t even get it.
• There will be rules on Twitter. Twitter isn’t going to be the wild west. You know who knows that? Elon Musk.

• I also think he has huge plans for this thing. I don’t think we will be able to recognize Twitter next year.

Everything that he said would happen to Democrats and Leftists under Musk has been happening to Republicans and Conservatives under the current Twitter regime.

• Donald Trump is banned. But the leaders from Russia, Iran and China are not.
• Assassination attempts on Libs of TikTok were ignored, but I called a trans female traitor by his dead name and I’m banned.
• Parody sites like the Babylon Bee are banned for disinformation are banned but Snoop Dog’s video shooting of Trump is allowed.
• The NY Post’s story about Hunter Biden’s laptop is banned, before the election, but the Russia hoax is not.
• Twitter banned the woman who accused Bill Clinton of rape!

So far, everyone is threatening to leave Twitter. Only two people have left so far that I know of and I don’t even know who they are. Barbara Streisand threatened to move to Canada. FYI: Twitter is in Canada.

Actress Jameela Jamil, who is an outspoken leftist and LGBT advocate, tweeted:

“Ah he got twitter. I would like this to be my what lies here as my last tweet. I fear this free speech bid is going to help this hell platform reach its final form of totally lawless hate, bigotry, and misogyny. Best of luck.”

Then she killed her account. Bye bye.

Faux activist and black man, Shaun King, who is known for doxing and actual hate speech, tweeted:

“At its root, Elon Musk wanting to purchase Twitter is not about left vs right. It’s about white power.”

“The man was raised in Apartheid by a white nationalist. He’s upset that Twitter won’t allow white nationalists to target/harass people. That’s his definition of free speech.”

“So for me, this isn’t about left vs right. Not at all. It’s about how the richest man in the world, a son of Apartheid, raised by a white nationalist, wants to be sure his speech, and that of other white men, isn’t censored.”

Then he killed his account. Notice these people have to tweet before they get off of Twitter to tell us we are getting off of Twitter? These people will be back in a week.

Actor Rob Reiner wrote:

“Now that Elon Musk is buying Twitter, the question for all of us is: Will he allow a Criminal who used this platform to lie and spread disinformation to try to overthrow the US Government to return and continue his Criminal activity? And if he does, how do we combat it?”

At least he didn’t mention Trump by name this time. Here, he just calls him a criminal.

It wasn’t all bad. Conservative actor James Woods was thrilled about the move. He tweeted:

“I’ve never been a proponent of electric cars, nor do I ever wish to fly into space. That said, @elonmusk  is a hero. He proved that capitalism will crush socialism every time. #BravoElonMusk.”

In a statement, Jack Dorsey, founder and former CEO of Twitter, said:

“I love Twitter. Twitter is the closest thing we have to a global consciousness. The idea and service is all that matters to me, and I will do whatever it takes to protect both. Twitter as a company has always been my sole issue and my biggest regret. It has been owned by Wall Street and the ad model. Taking it back from Wall Street is the correct first step.”

“In principle, I don’t believe anyone should own or run Twitter. It wants to be a public good at a protocol level, not a company. Solving for the problem of it being a company however, Elon is the singular solution I trust. I trust his mission to extend the light of consciousness. Elon’s goal of creating a platform that is “maximally trusted and broadly inclusive” is the right one. This is also @paraga’s goal, and why I chose him. Thank you both for getting the company out of an impossible situation. This is the right path…I believe it with all my heart.”

What I Think

Here’s what I think is going to happen:

• No one important is leaving Twitter. It is too big a platform. Anyone who leaves will come back eventually because Musk is going to open discourse.
• There will be attacks against Twitter:
  • The government will try to regulate it. That’s going to be tough to do with a privately traded company.
  • They will try to tax Musk out of existence. That will never pass Congress.
  • Hollywood is already planning propaganda films about Musk, Tesla and Space X.
  • There are going to be investigations.
  • There are going to be accusations.
• Elon Musk is going to make Twitter a ton better.

But, what’s most important, we are winning the culture war.

• CNN+ is gone.
• Netflix is dying.
• Disney is floundering.
• Critical Race Theory and Critical Gender Theory is being eliminated.
• And where CRT and CGT are being pushed, people are leaving those states.

We always could have won the culture war. We just needed to start fighting it.

California is at it again to make it the most f-ed up state in the country. Let’s take a look at some of their new laws that will convince anyone with an ounce of common sense and morality to move from this craphole state.

 

AB 2223

California is trying to pass a law, AB 2223, that, if read literally, could legalize infanticide for babies up to 30 days after birth. The section in question is 7a of the law. It states:

I have to be honest: I was a little miffed with the language. I do not like what they are pushing but I did not see what was th big issue. I had to do a little research to figure out what was going on.

According to the National Catholic Register:

At issue is one part of the bill, Section 7(a), which reads: “Notwithstanding any other law, a person shall not be subject to civil or criminal liability or penalty, or otherwise deprived of their rights, based on their actions or omissions with respect to their pregnancy or actual, potential, or alleged pregnancy outcome, including miscarriage, stillbirth, or abortion, or perinatal death.”

The bill does not define “perinatal death.” But in response to objections raised by the California Catholic Conference and other groups, Wicks amended the bill to read, “perinatal death due to a pregnancy-related cause,” language pro-lifers say is too vague.

The California Welfare & Institutions Code defines perinatal as “the period from the establishment of pregnancy to one month following delivery.”

I want to point something out. California is not the first state to push infanticide. New York and Virginia have some extremely loose abortion laws. Remember, Virginia governor and black face enthusiast, Ralph Northam said:

So this is nothing new or particularly surprising.

I am not going to go into the immorality of abortion and the California legislators know what they are doing. This isn’t an accident. In fact, I might surprise you. I think this is a good thing. Abortion was suppose to be “safe, legal and rare” and that narrative seemed to be working out for the pro-abortion people. Of course we knew that’s not what they meant. Even Josie thought abortion would be OK in the right situations.

But, as usual, the Left can’t help themselves but go to extremes. This is overboard. It won’t be supported and I doubt its even Constitutional. Let the Left go to these extremes. Like the murders of infants in Washington DC and Philadelphia, this will not be overlooked.

 

AB 2932

Here’s another good one. California is trying to pass a bill, AB-2932 wants to make it that the work week is only four days or 32 hours a week. Anyone who is “forced” to work over 32 hours, or regular hours, has to be paid, by the business, time and a half. The law would apply only to businesses over 500 people. If someone is earning a salary, the salary cannot be dropped, giving the salaried employee a raise.

Way to go California. Way to kick businesses out of California. This is probably not constitutional. But, hey, this is the state that wants to force businesses to put trans people on the boards of companies which, by the way, is unconstitutional.

Assembly member Cristina Garcia was asked about this and she said:

“Well, again, this only applies to companies that have 500 or more employees. This does not apply to small businesses out there. And yes, there might be an increase in salaries you have to pay and that’s not a bad thing.

“The reality is that we have a worker shortage, like more than 60 percent of businesses are reporting… their bottom line is already being affected, they’re already struggling.”

By the way, this broad has never run a business. And what’s the unemployment rate in California going to be like when those businesses with 500 or more employees leave California or just shut down?

The California Chamber of Commerce released a statement:

It said the bill “imposes a tremendous cost on employers and includes provisions that are impossible to comply with, exposing businesses to litigation,” and that its “impact on labor costs in California will discourage job growth in the state,” noting that “up to one million jobs may be lost” if it goes into effect.  

Peter Rex, CEO of Rex, a technology, investment, and real estate firm, moved his company from California to Texas three years ago. He said:

 “…California, as a result, is going to continue to lose relative strength and power and competitiveness as an economy and people are going to continue to move out because business leaders like myself are going to move out…”

I need to get out of this state.

Here’s What A Good State Does

Want to know what a real state does?

Tennessee just passed a law in the state senate that would require intoxicated drivers convicted of vehicular homicide to pay child support if the victim of the offense was the parent of a minor child.

The summery of the legislation states:

“if a defendant is convicted of vehicular homicide due to intoxication or aggravated vehicular homicide and the victim of the offense was the parent of a minor child,” then the sentencing court must make the defendant pay “restitution in the form of child maintenance to each of the victim’s children.”

This is common sense legislation that consequences to crimes and give relief to victims.

According to the Daily Wire:

A Colorado man has died 24 hours after lighting himself on fire in front of the United States Supreme Court on Earth Day as part of what appears to be a religious protest against the use of fossil fuels and in order to bring attention to climate change.

On Friday evening, Washington, D.C., first responders airlifted Wynn Bruce, a 50-year-old climate activist, to a local hospital after he engulfed himself in flames. He later died Saturday evening despite medical efforts to save his life.

Wow.

Those reportedly close to Bruce are emphasizing that he did not consider this to be an act of suicide, rather that he was simply practicing Shambhala Buddhism and viewed the intentional act as one of self-immolation in order to draw attention to the supposedly damaging effects of climate change.

Ok, I have some thoughts.

First, environmentalism is a religion. People who practice it hate all other religions (except Islam). This, like all religions, is a religion of faith. But that faith is cynical. It is faith that the world is going to implode and we are all going to die unless we do something (though what that something is is not definable). So, what they do is just force people to pay attention to it with shock values. They can’t reason their points. They have no solutions (solar and wind? Give me a break).

Second, Darwin was wrong about a lot but he was right about this. The dumbasses will kill themselves. This sounds cruel but, if you’re honest with yourself, you know I’m right. Do you want this dumbass’s DNA in the gene pool.

She Gets a Free Aide

Imagine this:

• You just get out of college with a political science degree.
• You have no idea what you are going to do with a poly sci degree because they are pretty worthless and you don’t have the grades or LSAT scores to get into law school.
• You apply to a job your aunt recommended to be a political aide.
• Turns out that politician is the Vice President of the United States.
• She accepts you and you are now working for the Vice President of the United States.
• Great opportunity, right?

Question for you: How bad does it have to be that you would leave your job working for the Vice President of the United States and leave you career options in doubt?

Even if the Vice President is this dope:

Apparently, working with her is pretty bad. Heck, 72% of the population knows that.

According to the Daily Wire:

Tina Flournoy is the latest aide preparing to leave the vice president’s office, per The Washington Post. Flournoy, who has worked for Harris since December 2020, will reportedly be replaced by longtime Democrat operative Lorraine Voles. A dozen Harris advisors have now fled, including her deputy chief of staff, national security advisor, and communications director.

That is her 13th aide that has left. Shouldn’t be a surprise. As Political reported in June of last year:

“In interviews, 22 current and former vice presidential aides, administration officials and associates of Harris and Biden described a tense and at times dour office atmosphere. Aides and allies said Flournoy, in an apparent effort to protect Harris, has instead created an insular environment where ideas are ignored or met with harsh dismissals and decisions are dragged out. Often, they said, she refuses to take responsibility for delicate issues and blames staffers for the negative results that ensue.”
