Episode 1094 – Forget It, I’ll Just Walk!

Zorhan Mamdani is saying some pretty atrocious things, yet he is still probably going to be mayor of New York. Amazing!

The violence against Americans by illegal aliens continues.

And the Los Angeles mayor gets fooled by one of those she’s trying to protect.

The Violence Escalates

According to the New York Post:

An off-duty U.S. Customs and Border Protection officer was shot in the face after being robbed by a moped-riding illegal immigrant in a New York City park on Saturday — but he shot back and wounded his attacker, according to sources.

The suspect has been identified as Miguel Francisco Mora Nunez, a 21-year-old Dominican national with a lengthy rap sheet in New York according to sources — but he was let go each time he was busted, despite having a deportation order.

Mora entered the US illegally via the southern border under the Biden admin, the Department of Homeland Security said Sunday.

The 42-year-old federal agent and a female companion were sitting on a rock along the Hudson River in Fort Washington Park in Manhattan when they were ambushed by the two men on a moped around 11:50 p.m., according to police sources.

After a brief exchange and tussle, one of the moped-riding men fired a gun and hit the victim in the face and left forearm.

The agent then drew his own pistol and fired multiple shots at the perps, hitting the suspect.

Mora was struck and wounded three times by the return gunfire, sources said.

Harrowing video released by DHS caught one suspect hopping off the moped and approaching the CBP officer before firing shots at him — then reeling back after the officer returned fire. The suspects eventually fled on the moped, the video showed.

We Won’t Get Fooled Again!

According to the Post Millennial:

An illegal immigrant from Mexico has been charged with faking her own “kidnapping” by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to generate donations. LA Mayor Karen Bass also promoted the claims.

According to a DOJ press release on the case, Yuriana Julia Pelaez Calderon, 41, who has been living in South Los Angeles, has been charged with conspiracy as well as making false statements to federal officers. If convicted of the charges, she can face up to five years in prison.

The charges come after local outlet in California, KTLA, ran a report in June with the headline “LA mother says she was taken to US border, being held until she self-deports,” in which the outlet reported that “loved ones and attorneys” said that a “mother and community leader” was “kidnapped” by ICE “bounty hunters” and was being held at a warehouse.

LA Mayor Karen Bass on July 1 touted Calderon’s tall tale of being “kidnapped” in a post to X. “She’s a mother from L.A. — taken out of her car on her way to work, and then held in a warehouse as officers hoped she would “self-deport.” No hearing. Just fear. This doesn’t make anyone safer,” Bass wrote, citing KTLA’s report.

A press conference and protest were held at the time the claims were made, and images of the gathering were spread across different news outlets.

At the time, DHS responded to the story, saying that it was “clearly fabricated.” Fox News reported that the criminal complaint against Calderon said that she and others “planned a hoax kidnapping” to benefit themselves, “including their own pecuniary gain.” A GoFundMe page was set up by Calderon’s daughter, who managed to raise $4,500 and claimed that her mother was “taken by masked men in an unmarked vehicle.”

After the daughter filed a missing person report, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) determined that Calderon was not in ICE custody and launched its own investigation into the matter, only to find out that “kidnapping” did not add up.

The affidavit added, “when confronted with true information that contradicted their kidnapping story,” Calderon and others “attempted to thwart law enforcement efforts” to find out where she was.

HSI Los Angeles Special Agent in Charge Eddy Wang slammed the scheme, saying, “My office invested valuable time and resources working this alleged kidnapping investigation only to discover that it was a hoax.”

“Diverting critical law enforcement resources is not only reckless and irresponsible, but it also endangers the community,” Wang added. “The real cost of a fraud like this is the amount of fentanyl not seized, child predators not removed from the communities and human trafficking victims not rescued because law enforcement redirected resources to recover the defendant. We want to assure the public that allegations of criminal activity will be thoroughly investigated by HSI and our law enforcement partners and that those who engage in fraud and deception will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

This Is Going to be a Slam Dunk Case

According to the L.A. Times:

California’s high-speed rail authority sued the Trump administration Thursday over its cancellation of billions of dollars in federal funding.

The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California by state Atty. Gen. Rob Bonta, comes one day after the Federal Railroad Administration pulled $4 billion from the project that was intended for construction in the Central Valley. The suit seeks declaratory and injunctive relief and challenges the legality of the decision.

The lawsuit calls the administration’s actions “arbitrary and capricious, an abuse of discretion, and contrary to law, and threatens to wreak significant economic damage on the Central Valley, the State, and the Nation.” It names Department of Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy and acting FRA Administrator Drew Feeley as defendants and details President Trump’s “personal animus” toward the project and long-standing criticism of it. Trump previously pulled funding from the train during his first term.

The suit calls the president’s past statements over the project’s budget as untrue. The project is about $100 billion over budget from its original proposal of $33 billion. Trump previously said it was “hundreds of billions of dollars” more.

“Trump’s termination of federal grants for California high-speed rail reeks of politics.” Gov. Gavin Newsom said in a statement Thursday. “It’s yet another political stunt to punish California. In reality, this is just a heartless attack on the Central Valley that will put real jobs and livelihoods on the line. We’re suing to stop Trump from derailing America’s only high-speed rail actively under construction.”

The fast train to connect San Francisco to Los Angeles was originally expected to be completed in 2020. But while the entire route was environmentally cleared last year, no portion of the line has been finished and construction has been underway only in the Central Valley. The Trump administration initiated a compliance review in February after Republican lawmakers called for an investigation into the project and demanded that it be defunded.

Some things:

  • 2008: California voters approved Proposition 1A, authorizing funds and plans for the state’s high-speed rail (HSR) system, originally targeting completion in 2018.
    • The initial vision set a price tag of $33 billion for a full system linking San Francisco and Los Angeles in under three hours.
  • 2015: Construction started on the Central Valley segment, running from Merced to Bakersfield—a stretch intended as the project’s Initial Operating Segment (IOS).
  • 2024: Substantial completion of one of the major construction packages in the Central Valley, while right-of-way acquisition for the Merced and Bakersfield extensions advances.
  • 2030-2033: The Merced to Bakersfield portion will be complete (about 164 miles).
  • The rest of Phase 1 (San Francisco-Anaheim, ~494 miles) does not have a fully funded or fixed completion date. Tentative goals are set for environmental clearance, design, and gradual construction of other sections, such as Gilroy-Palmdale, with possible completion by 2045—dependent on funding and private investment.
  • Phase 2 would eventually extend service north to Sacramento and south to San Diego, but there is currently no timeline for these extensions.

Some math:

  • It will take 18 years to complete 164 miles for Phase 1. That’s 33% of Phase 1.
  • With that pace, it would take 54 years to complete the 494 miles of Phase 1.
    • I will not even go into the price tag. I would need quantum computing to figure that one out.
  • Phase 1 would take 72 years to complete!
  • It’s about 514 miles from San Diego to Sacramento which is Phase 2. That’s another 56 years.
    • Forget about the cost.
  • Phase 1 and 2 would take 128 years to complete!
  • Phase 3 is suppose to be from the Mexican border to San Francisco. I’m just going to say that’s not going to happen.

Maybe California is not getting that $4 billion.

What is worse for California, they are going to have to explain why they are so far behind and where did that $133 billion go.

Episode 1093 – It’s Time to Make Some Arrests!

Donald Trump signs a couple of big bills into laws. More wins.

Late night television loses a “celebrated icon.” At least that’s what the media is calling him.

And another conspiracy theory sounds like it is true. I have some ideas on what we need to do.

News

Here is some news:

  • President Trump is suing The Wall Street Journal for libel following a report on his alleged relationship with Jeffrey Epstein and has now called for the release of related grand jury testimony.
  • The House passed the GENIUS Act Thursday in a 308-122 vote, with more than 100 Democrats joining most Republicans to advance the legislation. The bill, which establishes the first federal regulatory framework for stablecoins, is expected to be signed into law as early as today at a White House ceremony.
    • stablecoin is a type of cryptocurrency designed to maintain a stable value by pegging its price to an external reference asset, such as a fiat currency (like the U.S. dollar), a commodity (such as gold), or another financial instrument.
  • President Donald Trump has signed a bill enacting $9 billion in federal spending cuts, primarily targeting public broadcasting (including PBS and NPR) and foreign aid initiatives.
    • About $1.1 billion is eliminated for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which includes funding for PBS, NPR, and their affiliates.
    • Nearly $8 billion is cut from a range of foreign aid programs, primarily those operated by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
    • Vote margins: The House approved the bill 216–213, with all Democrats and two Republicans voting against it. The Senate passed its version 51–48, largely along party lines.
    • The Senate removed a proposed $400 million cut to the global PEPFAR AIDS program, softening the total from Trump’s original $9.4 billion proposal to $9 billion.

Yeah, It Was Trump

According to the Daily Wire:

CBS will pull the plug on late-night comedian Stephen Colbert’s “The Late Show” next year in a “purely financial decision,” the network announced on Thursday.

Colbert’s late-night comedy news show will air its final episode in May 2026, according to a statement released by CBS. The announcement marked the end of a nearly 11-year run Colbert has had hosting “The Late Show,” which first began in 1993 under former host David Letterman.

The network said that it is scrapping “The Late Show” franchise and will not move on to another host after Colbert.

“We consider Stephen Colbert irreplaceable and will retire ‘THE LATE SHOW’ franchise at that time. We are proud that Stephen called CBS home. He and the broadcast will be remembered in the pantheon of greats that graced late night television,” CBS said in a statement.

“This is purely a financial decision against a challenging backdrop in late night. It is not related in any way to the show’s performance, content or other matters happening at Paramount,” it continued.

Colbert announced the news from his host chair at the top of his Thursday episode.

Then, he did three segments with Adam Schiff. Yeah, I wonder why he got cancelled.

Along with the rating cratering, the show is losing $40 million a year (might have to do with 200 people working on it).

The Gutfeld! show, which the media doesn’t consider late night, is averaging a million more viewers.

That doesn’t matter. The media knows who to blame. How we blame Trump.

So boring.

Someone Needs to Go to Prison

This was last week during questioning about who knew Joe Biden was senile:

All these people should be given immunity so they have to testify.

But the corruption goes much deeper. According to the Daily Wire:

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard declassified documents Friday revealing that the Obama administration changed intelligence assessments after the 2016 election to create a narrative of Russian interference, despite earlier intelligence community findings that Russia “did not impact” the election through cyber activities.

The intelligence community concluded before the election that Russia was “probably not trying … to influence the election by using cyber means,” according to the declassified records obtained by Fox News. However, following Trump’s unexpected victory over Hillary Clinton, their tone appeared to have changed.

“On Dec 8, 2016, IC officials prepared an assessment for the President’s Daily Brief, finding that Russia ‘did not impact recent U.S. election results’ by conducting cyber attacks on infrastructure,” Gabbard wrote in a thread on X. “Before it could reach the President, it was abruptly pulled ‘based on new guidance.’ This key intelligence assessment was never published.”

The presidential brief prepared for President Obama on December 8, 2016, stated: “We assess that Russian and criminal actors did not impact recent US election results by conducting malicious cyber activities against election infrastructure,” noting that any Russian activities “probably were intended to cause psychological effects, such as undermining the credibility of the election process and candidates.”

The brief concluded that it was “highly unlikely” Russian interference “would have resulted in altering any state’s official vote result.”

“Criminal activity also failed to reach the scale and sophistication necessary to change election outcomes,” it stated.

The FBI raised immediate objections to the brief and requested that its publication be delayed until the bureau could address its concerns. Under then-Director James Comey, the FBI drafted a formal “dissent” to the original briefing.

Subsequently, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence postponed internal publication of the Presidential Daily Brief, citing “new guidance” as the reason for the delay.

Just one day later, on December 9, a meeting was called in the White House Situation Room to discuss Russian election interference with top officials, including then-CIA Director John Brennan, then-National Security Advisor Susan Rice, then-Secretary of State John Kerry, and then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch.

Following this meeting, then-Director of National Intelligence James Clapper threw out the old analysis and tasked intelligence leaders with crafting a new assessment “per the president’s request,” detailing “tools Moscow used and actions it took to influence the 2016 election.”

Gabbard revealed: “According to whistleblower emails shared with us today, we know Clapper and Brennan used the baseless discredited Steele Dossier as a source to push this false narrative in the intelligence assessment.”

Intelligence sources told Fox News the new report “was based on information that was known by those involved to be manufactured i.e. the Steele Dossier or deemed as not credible,” and the CIA had previously dismissed it as filled with “internet rumor[s].”

By January 6, 2017, a new Intelligence Community Assessment was released that “directly contradicted the IC assessments that were made throughout the previous six months,” the ODNI office told Fox News.

Intelligence officials told Fox News they consider the assessment to have been blatantly “politicized” after it “suppressed intelligence from before and after the election showing Russia lacked intent and capability to hack the 2016 election.”

“The information we are releasing today clearly shows there was a treasonous conspiracy in 2016 committed by officials at the highest level of our government,” Gabbard told Fox News. “Their goal was to subvert the will of the American people and enact what was essentially a years-long coup with the objective of trying to usurp the President from fulfilling the mandate bestowed upon him by the American people.”

“No matter how powerful, every person involved in this conspiracy must be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, to ensure nothing like this ever happens again,” Gabbard said. “The American people’s faith and trust in our democratic republic and therefore the future of our nation depends on it.”

Gabbard concluded: “As such, I am providing all documents to the Department of Justice to deliver the accountability that President Trump, his family, and the American people deserve.”

Someone over the last 15 years needs to be arrested, perp-walked, tried, convicted, and serve the rest of their lives in prison.

Episode 1092 – The Threat is Real and Growing!

I need to create a new segment. We are going to try it out today!

Mexico wants to make some money off the death of one of their citizens illegally in the country. Let’s talk about why that’s not going to work.

And the insurgency by radical Islam is growing and we are doing nothing about it.

Jasmine Crockett’s Quote of the Day!

A couple of things.

  • Not a fan of gerrymandering.
  • Majority minority and it is a solid red state?
  • She wants to run for Senate.
  • Democrats did the same thing in New York and California.

This Ain’t Going Anywhere

According to ABC7 News:

Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum on Tuesday said her administration was considering the possibility of filing a legal complaint over the death of a migrant who fell to his death during an immigration raid at a cannabis farm in Camarillo.

Jaime Alanís Garcia was hospitalized and later died after falling off a roof during an Immigration and Customs Enforcement raid in Camarillo.

Garcia was not in custody. He was on top of a roof of a greenhouse and fell while he was trying to get away from ICE.

“Jaime was not just a farmworker, he was a provider, and a human being who deserved dignity. His death is not an isolated tragedy. It is the result of a targeted raid at Glass House Farms. Workers were met not with protection, but with chaos and fear. Some were detained. Others were traumatized. Jaime lost his life,” the family posted on social media.

There were a few reasons for the raid:

  • The entire farm was run by illegal aliens.
  • It was a pot farm which is illegal federally and illegal in Mexico.
  • Roman Izquierdo (Mexico): Convictions for kidnapping, attempted rape, and attempted child molestation; previously deported in 2006
  • Juan Duarte-Velasquez (Mexico): Convicted of rape and DUI
  • Jose Orellana (El Salvador): Convicted of DUI and hit-and-run
  • Adriana Gonzalez-Gonzalez (Mexico): Convicted three times for burglary and DUI
  • 361 illegal aliens were arrested.
  • 14 under age children illegally in this country were arrested and probably trafficked. 10 of the children were unaccompanied.

Federal agents clashed with protesters during the immigration raid at the farm in Ventura County, one of at least two large-scale raids in Southern California on July 10.

Garcia’s family said he fell about 30 feet off a building while he was possibly trying to run from federal agents. Garcia suffered a broken neck and skull.

“We are supporting the family, we are in contact with them, and we’re also exploring the possibility of filing a complaint (in the U.S.) because this is unacceptable,” Sheinbaum said at a Tuesday press conference. “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is currently reviewing the matter. It is very unfortunate that this happened. All our solidarity and support go to the family, and there must not be another case like this one. That’s why the complaint must be filed in the courts over there.”

We should probably file a complaint about those people being in the country in the first place.

The Department of Homeland Security said he was not being pursued by law enforcement when he fell.

“This man was not in and has not been in CBP or ICE custody. Although he was not being pursued by law enforcement, this individual climbed up to the roof of a green house and fell 30 feet,” said DHS Public Affairs Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin. “CBP immediately called a medivac to the scene to get him care as quickly as possible.”

Since June 6, 435 people have been repatriated from the U.S. to Mexico. Between Jan. 20 and July 14, 1,427 people have been deported to Mexico “specifically due to raids,” Sheinbaum said.

Including all repatriations to Mexico during that period, the total is 75,341 people: 68,790 Mexican nationals and 6,551 foreigners.

Racism Is Alive and Well

This is the fourth time she has been called out for racial statements. She once got called out by a black man.

It just shows how casually anti-white racism is used by the Left and CNN supports it.

White people are not suppose to call this out because we are not allowed. Why? We’re racist if we don’t acknowledge the pain of the other races because slavery was legal 140 years ago.

The problem the Left has is we are getting over the white guilt.

Dumbass of the Day

He Should Be Happy He’s Still Alive

According to Reduxx:

A trans-identified male serving 40 years for a brutal 2013 murder is suing the Kentucky Department of Corrections over a new law banning public funding for cross-sex hormones and surgeries. Matthew Smith, who now goes by the name Maddilyn Marcum, was convicted of stabbing Eric Schreiber 72 times and slitting his throat.

The class-action lawsuit was filed July 14 by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Kentucky and, in addition to Smith, represents 67 other transgender inmates who will no longer receive hormones or surgeries on the public dime following the passage of a bill prohibiting taxpayer funds from being used for “gender-affirming care.”

Senate Bill 2 (SB-2), which was signed into law at the end of March, relegates medical “gender” interventions to “cosmetic service or elective procedure[s].”

The bill defines unnecessary interventions as “any procedure, treatment, or surgery to enhance or alter the appearance of any area of the head, neck, and body, including… [p]rescribing or administering cross-sex hormones in amounts greater than would normally be produced endogenously in a healthy person of the same age and sex.”

SB-2 further states that “public funds shall not be directly or indirectly used, granted, paid, or distributed for the purpose of providing a cosmetic or elective procedure to an inmate in a correctional facility.” The law came into effect on June 27 this year.

Representing the 68 convicted criminals, the ACLU argues that “reducing, terminating, or withholding HRT care violates the Eighth and Fourteenth Amendments to the United States Constitution.” The Eighth Amendment bars “cruel and unusual punishment” of incarcerated inmates, while the Fourteenth Amendment – instituted to address the treatment of those who were formerly enslaved – prevents states from infringing on citizens’ privileges without due process.

According to the complaint, Smith was given a diagnosis of gender dysphoria in 2009, at which point he began taking “estrogen and anti-androgens to feminize the body” in the four years leading up to the crime for which he is incarcerated. The ACLU refers to gender dysphoria as a “serious medical condition,” citing Standards of Care created by the controversial activist group the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH).

They Just Can’t Help Themselves

According to Grok:

The X post by Libs of TikTok highlights a concerning incident involving Zayn Edward Arcand, a 19-year-old from Iron Mountain, Michigan, who was arrested for allegedly attempting to burn down the Dickinson County Republican Committee headquarters with a Molotov cocktail.

This act of violence is part of a broader pattern of political extremism, as Arcand admitted to the act as a message against perceived corruption, reflecting a dangerous intersection of personal identity and political ideology.

Arcand’s self-identification as “genderfluid, polyamorous sometimes female” underscores a complex personal identity that has been thrust into the public eye due to the criminal act. This incident raises questions about the mental health and stability of individuals who engage in such extreme behaviors, especially when their personal identities are publicly scrutinized.

The event occurred on July 12, 2025, and has been met with strong condemnation from political figures, such as Michigan Republican Party Chair Jim Runestad, who labeled Arcand as “a liberal Antifa scumbag.”

This reaction points to a polarized political climate where acts of violence are quickly attributed to broader ideological conflicts, potentially overshadowing the individual’s mental health issues. The incident also aligns with broader discussions on the rise of political violence and the need for mental health interventions, as evidenced by increasing concerns about violence against marginalized communities, such as the transgender community in Pakistan, reported around the same time.

Episode 1091 – Please, Keep Talking!

The Jeffry Epstein case is heating up and Donald Trump can’t figure out what all the fuss is about. I’ll let him in on why there’s so much fuss.

Rep. Hank Johnson tries to join the latest Democratic trend. It’s truly horrible.

And the Trump administration proposes a new “pro-family” policy. I’m not liking it too much.

You Answered Your Own Question

According to the Daily Wire:

President Donald Trump said on Tuesday night that the controversy surrounding the Jeffrey Epstein case is being kept alive by “pretty bad people,” including the “fake news” media.

Trump was asked about the Epstein case, which has set him at odds with much of his base over the past week, multiple times on Tuesday. On his way back to the White House after meeting with tech and energy executives in Pittsburgh, the president was asked by a reporter why his supporters “have been so interested in the Epstein story and so upset with how it’s been handled.”

Democrats are flipping out about the Epstein files. They had no interest over the last five years, but now they do. Here is Dick Durbin demanding the release of the files.

Make America America Again

According to the Daily Wire:

The State Department is rolling out a “pro-family” exemption to the federal hiring freeze for the families of diplomats working abroad, according to an internal memo obtained exclusively by The Daily Wire.

The exemption will allow diplomats to staff key embassy posts with eligible family members, known as EFMs. Eligible family members are often the spouse of the State Department employee assigned to the overseas station, and have traditionally been used to temporarily staff certain positions.

“This is a commonsense, pro-family policy to keep the family members of our diplomats together as they work toward implementing the America First agenda at our overseas posts,” a senior State Department official told The Daily Wire.

On his first day in office, President Donald Trump signed an executive order mandating a freeze on hiring new federal employees. At the same time, Secretary of State Marco Rubio has been overhauling the State Department. As part of this reorganization, the State Department has begun mass layoffs for bureaucratic positions, largely based in Washington, D.C.

The State Department said in the unclassified memo that the exemption would help support families and “support the operational readiness of U.S. Missions” and that it would be “a critical step forward in supporting our overseas staffing needs and family member employment opportunities.”

The memo, which will be sent out later today, authorizes overseas posts to start hiring eligible family members into empty positions that were previously occupied by someone with similar status. The freeze exemption will not allow for new positions to be created and cannot be used to fill vacancies previously filled by non-family member employees.

“This exemption to the hiring freeze for EFMs makes available a pool of highly qualified candidates who can quickly fill both temporary and long-term positions that support operational readiness,” the memo says. “These will include positions in human resources, finance, security, political/economic, community liaison, medical, and consular services, ensuring that overseas posts function smoothly.”

The memo says that the policy reflects “the Department’s commitment to operational readiness, workforce morale, and the well-being of [Foreign Service] families” and that employees are encouraged to “prioritize” the hiring of eligible family members.

The exemption will also allow eligible family members to join the Foreign Service Family Reserve Corps, meaning that they will have an active security clearance allowing them to fill “domestic and overseas positions quickly when needed.”

According to the Daily Wire:

President Donald Trump championed over $90 billion in fresh energy and artificial intelligence investments in Pennsylvania on Tuesday.

Trump led the inaugural Pennsylvania Energy & Innovation Summit, accompanied by top tech and energy leaders, as well as Sen. Dave McCormick (R-PA) and members of his Cabinet.

“This afternoon, 20 leading technology and energy companies are announcing more than $92 billion of investments in Pennsylvania,” said Trump. “This is a really triumphant day for the people of the commonwealth and for the United States of America.”

“The investments being announced this afternoon include more than $56 billion dollars in new energy infrastructure, and more than $36 billion dollars in new data center projects. And a lot more than that are going to be announced in the coming weeks,” he said.

The Trump administration has prioritized the development of both AI and energy in a bid to lead the world in the advance of the next major technological breakthrough. The administration has placed special emphasis on the need to compete with China in AI development.

“We’re here today because we believe that America’s destiny is to dominate every industry and be the first in every technology, and that includes being the world’s number one superpower in artificial intelligence,” the president said.

“We are way ahead of China,” he added. “I have to say we’re way ahead of China, and the plants are starting up, the construction is starting up.”

The article concludes:

The Energy Department released a report earlier this month warning “that blackouts could increase by 100 times in 2030 if the U.S. continues to shutter reliable power sources and fails to add additional firm capacity.”

You Must Be Kidding

According to One America News:

Prosecutors in Colorado are reportedly planning to dismiss charges against a registered sex offender whom witnesses say attempted to abduct a child from an elementary school last year, citing his “incompetence to stand trial.”

The 18th Judicial District Attorney’s Office—which has jurisdiction over Arapahoe County, including the cities of Aurora and Littleton—confirmed to FOX31 on Friday that it plans to drop the case against 33-year-old Solomon Galligan.

Galligan had been charged with one count of attempted kidnapping following an April 2024 incident in which he allegedly tried to abduct an 11-year-old boy during recess at Black Forest Hills Elementary School.

According to Aurora police, Galligan is a registered sex offender, with his registration filed through the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office.

Following his arrest, Galligan was subjected to a court-ordered mental competency evaluation, which concluded that he is not fit to stand trial.

Consequently, prosecutors stated that they are compelled to dismiss the charges due to his legal incapacity. They emphasized that the decision is not a reflection of Galligan’s presumed guilt or innocence.

The 2024 incident was captured on video, depicting the 33-year-old man pursuing and attempting to forcibly grab the young boy while other children in the vicinity ran away in fear.

Dumbass of the Day

Make Spankings Great Again!

According to Fox News:

Potentially dangerous social media trends are getting kids, and potentially homeowners, into trouble this summer while kids are out of school.

Two trends in particular are going viral on social media, including the “UrbanEx,” or “urban exploration,” challenge and the “door-kicking challenge.”

“There’s a new trend every day. … You go to the FYP, the For You Page, you see what’s trending. And then pretty soon, you’ll see content created by children, which is in and of itself problematic. A lot of the children under the age of 13 … are legally not allowed to even be on social media,” Titania Jordan, CMO and chief parent officer at Bark Technologies, a parental control app, told Fox News Digital.

Social media challenges prompt users to create more “content that elicits a reaction,” she explained, “that has viral components, resurfaces and resurfaces again, thanks again to the algorithm.”

“This sort of content is going to get likes, it’s going to get comments, it is going to get shares. It’s going to encourage children to try to emulate it because it’s clout — they gain clout from their peers because of this,” she said. “…Any challenge like this, children aren’t thinking, ‘Is this the right thing to do? Is this safe?’ They’re thinking, ‘I want validation,’ and children are going to get killed. I mean, just one person who is armed who gets their door kicked in by a kid, and you’re gonna have another national headline that is very sad.”

Additionally, in Ohio, if a person’s leg enters another person’s home by kicking a door in, that can result in a burglary charge, on top of possibly trespassing charges, Dolan explained.

Homeowners might also face a lengthy process in the criminal justice system if they choose to defend themselves with a gun if someone kicks their door open, Dolan said.

Episode 1090 – If You Don’t Like It, Stop Doing It!

Tariffs are finally hitting the economy. What will be the next step by the Trump administration.

Gavin Newsom keeps telling us that illegal aliens are the backbone of the Californian economy. I argue that is the primary reason California needs to deport illegal aliens.

And Karen Bass, the mayor of Los Angeles, feels real bad for illegal aliens too afraid to go to work in her city. That’s means there’s going to be a tax hike.

News

Here is some news:

  • The Trump Administration has stated that illegal aliens will no longer be able to bond out by a judge.
  • The Supreme Court ruled that Trump can proceed to gut the Department of Education.
    • This comes after Linda McMahon fired half the people in the department.
    • Completely shutting down the department may require congressional approval.
  • Donald Trump announced an arms deal where Ukraine will get weapons purchased from the United States by NATO.
    • NATO will foot the bill.
    • NATO is thrilled by the deal.
    • Trump has also put more tariffs on Russia and has threatened tighter sanctions.
  • The inflation rate has jumped to 2.7%
    • This was expected.
    • A lot of this has to do with the tariffs.
    • It is a good thing that the Fed did not lower interest rates.

He Doesn’t Get It

In summary:

  • Direct state government debt: about $158 billion
  • Combined state and local government long-term debt: over $510 billion
  • Total debt including all unfunded obligations: about $1.6 trillion

California also faces significant annual budget deficits, with projections of a $12 billion–$70 billion shortfall for the 2024–25 fiscal year.

Based on the most recent and reputable estimates, California spends between $22.8 billion and $30.9 billion annually on benefits and services for undocumented immigrants (often referred to as “illegal aliens”). The costs include health care, education, public assistance, and law enforcement:

  • Health Care: California’s expansion of Medi-Cal to cover undocumented immigrants is projected to cost over $8.4 billion per year for the 2024-2025 fiscal year.
  • Education: Education is historically the largest cost driver. Earlier detailed breakdowns estimate that K-12 education for children of undocumented immigrants and related services (like English language instruction) reaches $12.3 billion per year.
  • Law Enforcement and Justice: Costs for policing, incarceration, and courts attributable to undocumented immigrants are over $4.4 billion annually.
  • Other Services: Additional expenses include public assistance programs and general government services, adding over $2 billion more.

It Just Gets Better:

According to L.A. Times:

Mayor Karen Bass announced a plan Friday to provide direct cash assistance to people who have been affected by the Trump administration’s sweeping immigration raids.

The aid will be distributed using cash cards with a “couple hundred” dollars on them, which should be available in about a week, Bass said at a news conference.

“You have people who don’t want to leave their homes, who are not going to work, and they are in need of cash,” she said.

Bass spoke about a family she met who needed two incomes to afford their rent. After one of the breadwinners was detained in an immigration raid, she said, the family is concerned they may face eviction.

It was not immediately clear what the qualifications will be needed to receive the cards.

The mayor emphasized that the money will not come from city coffers but from philanthropic partners. The cards will be distributed by immigrants rights groups such as the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles.

The city will coordinate between philanthropists and organizations distributing the cards, according to the mayor’s office.

What? Again?

According to Fox News:

A federal judge in Los Angeles late Friday issued a sweeping temporary restraining order (TRO) against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), ruling that the agency likely violated constitutional protections through its immigration enforcement practices in California.

In a 53-page order issued Friday, U.S. District Judge Maame Ewusi-Mensah Frimpong, a Biden appointee, barred ICE from conducting detentive stops in the Central District of California unless agents have “reasonable suspicion” that a person is in the country unlawfully.

Frimpong’s ruling explicitly prohibits ICE from relying solely on race or ethnicity, speaking Spanish or English with an accent, location, or type of work when forming suspicion, citing the Fourth Amendment.

The order also requires ICE to keep and turn over detailed records of each stop and agents’ reasoning for them, develop official guidance for determining “reasonable suspicion,” and implement mandatory training for agents.

A couple of things:

  • This judge is overstepping her bounds. She can’t tell law enforcement how to practice their craft.
  • This is a blanket TRO. If there is evidence of wrong-doing of an individual, fine. But you can’t just say no to it all.
  • The Supreme Court has ruled on this when it came to stop and frisk.

This Is How to End Illegal Immigration

According to the New York Post:

The Trump administration moved Thursday to block illegal immigrants from accessing taxpayer-funded aid to enroll in educational programs and receive health care benefits.

The departments of Education, Agriculture, Labor, Justice and Health and Human Services made separate announcements Thursday, touting savings of around $40 billion.

HHS called the change a “significant policy shift” that will “ensure that taxpayer-funded program benefits intended for the American people are not diverted to subsidize illegal aliens.”

“Under President Trump’s leadership, hardworking American taxpayers will no longer foot the bill for illegal aliens to participate in our career, technical, or adult education programs or activities,” Education Secretary Linda McMahon also said in a statement

“The Department will ensure that taxpayer funds are reserved for citizens and individuals who have entered our country through legal means who meet federal eligibility criteria.”

Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins announced that states should also be preventing migrants from accessing benefits through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

Episode 1089 – Are Democrats Defending Child Slave Labor?

The Los Angeles Times and the media have made fools of themselves once again. This time, they seem to be lying to protect slavery and child exploitation.

Let’s see what they are saying.

Time to Defend Slave Labor

According to the L.A. Times:

The crowd outside Glass House Farms in Camarillo in the wake of Thursday’s chaotic immigration sweep was a strange mix.

There were vocal protesters hurling insults and sometimes water bottles at federal agents, and there were anxious friends and family of those who work at Glass House, a huge cannabis operation. Then there were curious bystanders like Mike Elliott, a Camarillo resident who voted for President Trump and stopped to see what was happening, saying he wanted to bear witness. Also on hand was Oxnard native Christina Muñoz, who said she brought her 2-year-old son, 5-month-old daughter and her mom in hopes of getting a glimpse of her husband, a member of the National Guard whom she hadn’t seen in 30 days.

Federal agents raided two Glass House Farms sites on Thursday, said Maria Navarro, an Oxnard policy advocate for the Central Coast Alliance United for a Sustainable Economy (CAUSE). The organization was alerted at 10:20 a.m. that sweeps were happening at both California locations of the company, in Carpinteria and Camarillo.

She hurried to the Camarillo site, where she came upon a tense scene, with protesters gathering and family members of workers trying to pick up their loved ones. But federal agents had already closed off access to the worksite. More and more people arrived, and Navarro said activists were trying to prevent trucks full of detainees from leaving.

At the east entrance to the Camarillo facility, amid lush fields of blooming bush beans, the action started about 10 a.m. when federal agents entered the facility. Protesters and worried family began arriving soon afterward, and by 2:30 p.m., a line of about 30 agents, including National Guard members, was barricading nearby Laguna Road.

The growing crowd was kept at least a quarter of a mile away from the facility. Protesters said that some people among the crowd had been detained. Jonathan Caravello, a philosophy professor at Cal State Channel Islands, was arrested, according to activist Angelmarie Taylor, who said she was one of his students and had accompanied him to the protest.

Taylor claimed Caravello was arrested as he tried to help a man in a wheelchair when agents were pushing the crowd to move back.

She said he and another individual “were piled on by multiple agents all at once” before being taken behind a line of agents to where several vehicles stood, “and we have no idea now where they are.”

As the sweep was underway, 24-year-old Cesar Ortiz spoke to a Times photographer outside Glass House Farms.

He said he had a brother inside the facility who had only begun working there a week ago.

“They are taking everyone and the truth is it’s not right because these people come to work, struggle every day, to earn for bread every day.

“There are no narcos here,” he said, “no one is armed here and they come fully armed, full of military personnel.”

Ortiz said he had been in communication with his brother, who he feared would be deported. He said authorities had his brother in a container. People “are [choking] in there with the air, without air-conditioned air.”

He also had a message for Trump: “We all have a right to come here and work. Here, we all have a dream, we have to give it our all.”

Marc Cohodes, an investor and famed short-seller who has invested in Glass House, called the raid “beyond outrageous.” He added that Glass House is “the largest cannabis cultivator in the world” and “a highly regulated business fully licensed by the state of California. It’s run by a guy named Kyle Kazan, who is an ex-cop who plays by the rules and does things by the book.” Kazan, he added, is also a supporter of Trump.

Glass House Farms posted a statement on X on Thursday saying that the company had been “visited today by ICE officials” and “fully complied with agent search warrants.” The statement said nothing else, except to add that the company would “provide further updates if necessary.”

Ambulances were seen going in and out of the Camarillo facility, and Cohodes said as many as 14 people were injured in the action and taken to hospitals.

As the protest heated up, some members of the crowd shouted obscenities at agents. When gas canisters were fired, a few hurled water bottles before running away from the fumes. One woman on a megaphone pleaded with the officers to leave their posts and join the protesters so they could be on the right side of history.

But off to the side, Ricardo Mojica, a tall, silver-haired grandfather, quietly tried to talk to agents to find out what was happening with his son, who worked inside.

Mojica said his 31-year-old son “has no criminal records, he has never been arrested and was born just six miles from here at St. John’s Hospital. He’s the father of my granddaughter, and I haven’t heard anything from him since this morning.”

Mojica pointed to one of the Border Patrol guards and said, ‘He told me my son was being detained, but then his partner told him not to talk to me. I just want to know why he’s being held.”

Around 4:30 p.m. Oxnard native Christina Muñoz held her 2-year-old son on her hip as she strained to catch a glimpse of her husband, Christopher, a National Guardsman who she heard had been deployed that day from Los Angeles to the factory raid. Her mother stood nearby holding Christina’s infant daughter.

“I haven’t seen him for 30 days,” Muñoz said, “and I was hoping I could see him here.”

She and her children have been staying with her family in Oxnard since her husband was deployed.

“We thought it would be for just a few days,” she said, “but we didn’t see him for Father’s Day or the Fourth of July. We had no idea it would last this long.”

“He’s needed at home,” Muñoz’s mother said, as she bounced the baby in her arms. “His family needs him.”

Off to the side of the protesters, David Elliott stood watching the scene with a beer in one hand and a small six-pack cooler in the other.

“I’m out of beer,” he joked. The Camarillo resident said he had been heading for the beach, “but I got caught up in all the traffic and I thought, ‘You know what? I’m going to hang out here and see what happens.’”

Elliott said he supports law enforcement and Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and he voted for Donald Trump to be president, but he doesn’t like what’s happening now with the immigration sweeps.

“I voted for Trump because he said he was going to go after the bad guys, and I know they’re there, but I don’t like what they’re doing now …. going after people at Home Depot or farmworkers in the fields.

“These are hardworking people — my gardener and his crew started working for my parents 20 years ago and now they work for me, and they’re illegal; they’re not bad people, they’re like family, and a lot of us depend on the work they do.

“I voted for Trump to clean out the bad guys first and then start working on a system to get the farmworkers and gardeners, but there’s got to be a better way. There should be a way to integrate them into our system because they work harder than anyone I know.”

There were a few things left out of this article:

  • Pot is still federally illegal.
  • Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem confirmed on X that 319 unlawful immigrants were apprehended during the raid at Glass House Farms.
  • Law enforcement rescued 14 children from potential forced labor, exploitation, and trafficking.
  • 8 of the children were unaccompanied. This means they were probably trafficked.
  • One man (Roman Izquierda) taken into custody has a history of violent crime, including attempted child exploitation including a 7 year sentence for kidnapping & attempted rape, w/ a prior conviction for attempted child molestation.
  • Another illegal alien (Juan Duarte-Velasquez) was wanted for DUI and Rape.
  • Jose Orellana was convicted of felonet DUI and Hit-and-run.
  • Adriana Gonzalez-Gonzalez was convicted three times for burglary and DUI.
  • Glass House Farms is under investigation for possible child labor law violations.
  • The company’s co-founder, president and board director, Graham Farrar, donated $10,000 to California Gov. Gavin Newsom in 2018, among other Democratic politicians. He has also donated to Republicans, and shown support for Republicans who expressed support for liberalizing cannabis laws.
  • The protestors threw rocks and bottles at ICE vehicles as they were leaving.
  • On individual is wanted for shooting a gun at ICE agents. There is a $50,000 reward for information leading to his capture.
  • Agents claim that Jonathan Caravello was arrested for allegedly throwing a tear gas canister at law enforcement officers

An irate Trump took to his Truth Social platform to blast the protesters, and authorize ICE to take whatever precautions are necessary to protect themselves during future raids.

“I am on my way back from Texas, and watched in disbelief as THUGS were violently throwing rocks and bricks at ICE Officers while they were moving down a roadway in their car and/or official vehicle,” he said.

Trump continued with a social media post:

“Tremendous damage was done to these brand new vehicles. I know for a fact that these Officers are having a hard time with allowing this to happen in that it shows such total disrespect for LAW AND ORDER.

“I am giving Total Authorization for ICE to protect itself, just like they protect the Public,” he wrote. “I never want to see a car carrying a Law Enforcement Officer attacked again! AUTHORIZATION IMMEDIATELY GRANTED FOR ARREST AND INCARCERATION. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

Reactions

The reporter is Abby Phillips.

No. 10 of the 14 children were unaccompanied. Parental permission is required.

Also, children as young as 12 years old can work on a farm outside of school hours. It doesn’t look like this was happening.

Episode 1088 – Can We Say Immigration Might Not Be A Good Thing?

Oh the irony as Mexican citizens protest immigration into Mexico by Americans and Central Americans.

The Trump administration is finally doing something about China buying land in the United States.

And these bloody judges just keep overstepping their bounds.

The Irony Is Thick

In July 2025, Mexico City witnessed significant protests targeting the influx of American immigrants and tourists, particularly those working remotely as digital nomads. The demonstrations were primarily fueled by rising rents, gentrification, and the displacement of local residents in popular neighborhoods such as Roma and Condesa, which have seen a marked increase in foreign—especially American—residents since around 2020.

Key grievances voiced by protesters include:

  • Skyrocketing housing costs attributed to the demand from foreigners, especially Americans, who are often able to pay higher rents than locals.
  • Displacement of long-term residents as landlords prioritize short-term rentals and foreign tenants, leading to a loss of community and cultural identity.
  • Government policies that have encouraged tourism and attracted digital nomads, notably a 2022 pact between Mexico City officials, Airbnb, and UNESCO, despite local concerns about the consequences for affordable housing.
  • Perceived lack of integration by some Americans, with criticism that many do not learn Spanish or adapt to local customs, further increasing tensions.

Protest actions and rhetoric:

  • The protests, which began peacefully, escalated in some instances to vandalism, with storefronts smashed, graffiti such as “Gringo Stop stealing home” and “Get out of Mexico,” and direct harassment of foreigners.
  • Some demonstrators used strong anti-American language and imagery, including calls for Americans to leave and accusations of “neo-colonialism” or cultural invasion.
  • Slogans seen during the protests included “Your new home is an invasion,” “We shouldn’t feel like foreigners in our own land,” and “Expat = gentrifier”.

Official and community responses:

  • Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum condemned the xenophobic tone and violence of the protests, emphasizing that Mexico should remain welcoming, but acknowledged the legitimacy of concerns about gentrification and housing affordability.
  • Activist groups behind the protests have insisted their movement is not xenophobic, but rather a response to government failures and unchecked market forces that have prioritized foreign capital over local needs.

Broader context:

  • These protests mirror similar anti-tourism and anti-gentrification movements in European cities facing mass tourism and housing crises.
  • The situation is complicated by the economic ties between the U.S. and Mexico, including remittances sent by Mexicans in the U.S. and the potential diplomatic fallout of stricter visa enforcement.

In summary, the protests in Mexico City are a response to the rapid influx of Americans and other foreigners, which locals blame for unaffordable rents and the erosion of community life. While some protest actions have included xenophobic rhetoric and violence, the underlying issues are rooted in economic inequality, housing policy failures, and the unintended consequences of promoting Mexico City as a destination for remote workers and tourists.

It’s About Damn Time

Overview

The Trump administration has launched a comprehensive effort to restrict and ban Chinese nationals and entities from purchasing property—especially farmland—near U.S. military bases. This move is driven by national security concerns, with bipartisan support in Congress and coordination across multiple federal agencies.

Key Developments

  • National Farm Security Action Plan:
Announced by Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins, this plan aims to prohibit Chinese citizens from acquiring U.S. farmland and to safeguard agricultural research from foreign influence, intellectual property theft, and agroterrorism. The initiative is both legislative and executive in nature, involving cooperation with Congress and state governments.
  • Focus on Military Base Proximity:
The primary concern is the proximity of foreign-owned land to sensitive military installations. There have been notable cases where Chinese firms attempted to purchase land near bases, such as the Fufeng Group’s 2022 acquisition near a North Dakota Air Force base, which triggered widespread alarm and legislative action.
  • Legislative Measures:
The Senate has overwhelmingly supported measures to ban Chinese and other adversarial entities from owning farmland near military bases. The PASS Act, for example, would prevent entities from China, North Korea, Russia, and Iran from purchasing agricultural land near sensitive sites and empower the Department of Agriculture to refer cases to the Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S. (CFIUS) for review.
  • CFIUS Rule Expansion:
Recent updates have expanded CFIUS’s authority to review and potentially block foreign real estate transactions near a list of about fifty sensitive government sites, with some sites having a review radius of up to 100 miles. This expansion is a direct response to concerns about espionage and surveillance risks posed by foreign ownership near military facilities.

Rationale and National Security Concerns

  • Espionage Risks:
The administration’s reasoning centers on the potential for espionage or surveillance activities if Chinese investors, under pressure from their government, gain access to land near military installations. These concerns are heightened by incidents of attempted breaches at military facilities by Chinese nationals, sometimes using drones or posing as tourists.
  • Scale of Ownership:
Chinese entities currently own a relatively small share of U.S. farmland—about 265,000 to 350,000 acres, which is a fraction of a percent of total U.S. farmland. However, the strategic locations of some of these holdings, rather than their total size, are what drive security concerns.

This Won’t Work

Judge Orders Government to Continue Funding Planned Parenthood

A federal judge has issued a temporary order requiring the U.S. government to continue funding Planned Parenthood, despite a recent law aimed at cutting off Medicaid reimbursements to organizations that provide abortions.

Key Details

  • Temporary Restraining Order (TRO): Judge Indira Talwani granted Planned Parenthood’s request for a TRO, blocking enforcement of a provision in the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” that would have ended Medicaid funding for certain organizations, including Planned Parenthood.
  • Duration: The order is effective for 14 days, with a hearing scheduled for July 21 to determine if the injunction should be extended.
  • Immediate Impact: The ruling means Planned Parenthood will continue to receive Medicaid funds for at least the next two weeks, allowing it to serve patients who rely on these funds for reproductive and sexual health services.
  • Legal Arguments: Planned Parenthood argued the law unfairly targets the organization, violates equal protection rights, and constitutes unconstitutional retaliation. The judge found “good cause” to grant immediate relief, though her order did not include a detailed opinion.
  • Government Position: The law, signed by President Trump, was intended to prohibit Medicaid funds from going to any entity primarily engaged in family planning and that provides abortions. The administration has not commented publicly on the court order.

  • The TRO is temporary. The court will hear further arguments on July 21, which could result in a longer-term injunction or allow the funding cutoff to proceed.
  • The case raises constitutional questions about Congress’s power over federal spending and the judiciary’s ability to intervene in funding decisions.

This Won’t Work

The Law Restricting Federal Funding for Abortion

The primary law that prohibits the use of federal taxpayer money to fund most abortions is known as the Hyde Amendment.

Key Facts About the Hyde Amendment

  • What It Is:
The Hyde Amendment is a legislative provision, first passed in 1976, that bars the use of federal funds for abortion services except in very limited circumstances.
  • How It Works:
It is not a permanent law but rather a “rider” attached annually to Congressional appropriations bills, especially those funding the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
  • Exceptions:
Federal funds may only be used for abortions if:
    • The pregnancy endangers the life of the pregnant person.
    • The pregnancy is a result of rape or incest.
  • Scope:
The Hyde Amendment affects Medicaid and other federal programs, meaning millions of people with low incomes who rely on public health insurance cannot use federal funds for abortion except under the exceptions above.

Does Planned Parenthood Commit That Many Abortions?

According to Planned Parenthood’s most recent 2023–2024 Annual Report, abortion services accounted for approximately 4% of all health services provided by the organization during the reporting period. This figure is calculated by dividing the number of abortion procedures (402,230) by the total number of discrete services delivered (9,450,743).

Based on Planned Parenthood’s most recent annual report (2023–2024), the organization performed 402,230 abortions during the reporting period. The minimum estimated revenue from abortion services is calculated by multiplying the lowest reported cost per abortion ($580, typically for medication abortion) by the number of abortions performed. This results in at least $233,293,400 in abortion-related revenue for the year. However, because in-clinic surgical abortions can cost up to $2,000 depending on gestational age, the actual revenue is likely higher. Adjusting for the share of abortions performed at different gestational ages, estimates suggest Planned Parenthood made approximately $247 million from abortion services in 2023–2024

Just Funny

Some things:

  • Notice the media only talks about WHY he was arrested as an afterthought?
  • He’s a permanent resident who doesn’t speak English.
  • He’s a criminal and not legal. I doubt he’s a resident. But if he has a green card and has been convicted of a violent crime, we don’t want him anymore.
  • Incarceration is not meant to be pleasant.
  • For me, if true, this would not be disturbing. His crime is more disturbing.
  • I doubt any of this is true.

He’s Got Bigger Problems Than Being Deported

According to the Daily Wire:

Julio César Chávez Jr. was arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents on Wednesday and is facing deportation to Mexico for overstaying his visa and lying on a green card application.

The arrest came just days after Chávez faced off against boxer and influencer Jake Paul in Anaheim, California. Chávez lost the match.

Chávez, a Mexican citizen, has committed numerous crimes while staying in the United States and has apparent ties to the Sinaloa Cartel, a designated Foreign Terrorist Organization. He’s facing organized crime charges in Mexico.

“This Sinaloa Cartel affiliate with an active arrest warrant for trafficking guns, ammunition, and explosives was arrested by ICE,” Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement.

McLaughlin noted that Chávez was allowed re-entry into the United States under the Biden administration and emphasized that under President Donald Trump, cartel affiliates will not be allowed to remain in the country.

Homeland Security said in a press release that Chávez is being processed for “expedited removal from the United States.” The boxer has an “active arrest warrant in Mexico for his involvement in organized crime and trafficking firearms, ammunition, and explosives,” the department added.

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said on Friday that she hopes Chávez “will be deported and serve the sentence in Mexico.”

Episode 1087 – Way to Crash Your Movie Before It Comes Out

I got some huge news about a deportation of a famous Mexican this week. The shock with my family shook our Independence Day. Then I found out why.

Donald Trump is ending one of the dumbest policies at the airport.

And the Supreme Court continues to put a muzzle on these damn district court judges.

Monster News

According to the Daily Wire:

The Trump administration is moving to end the requirement that passengers remove their shoes when going through airport security, according to multiple reports.

The much-hated shoe removal mandate, which has been in place since 2006, is being gradually phased out in the coming weeks, according to Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agents who have told multiple news outlets. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed the news on Tuesday morning.

The phase-out began at Baltimore/Washington International Airport, Fort Lauderdale International Airport, Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, Portland International Airport, Philadelphia International Airport, and Piedmont Triad International Airport in North Carolina, CBS News reported

Another Big Win

According to the Daily Wire:

The U.S. Supreme Court cleared the way on Tuesday for President Donald Trump to resume his plans to cut the federal workforce and restructure agencies, a key promise he made on the campaign trail to hack away at the size of the federal government.

The justices lifted San Francisco-based U.S. District Judge Susan Illston’s May 22 order that had blocked large-scale federal layoffs called “reductions in force” affecting potentially hundreds of thousands of jobs, while litigation in the case proceeds.

Trump in February announced “a critical transformation of the federal bureaucracy” in an executive order directing agencies to prepare for a government overhaul aimed at significantly reducing the federal workforce and gutting offices and programs opposed by the administration.

Workforce reductions were planned at the U.S. Departments of Agriculture, Commerce, Health and Human Services, State, Treasury, Veterans Affairs, and more than a dozen other agencies.

Liberal Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson was the sole member of the nine-person court to publicly dissent from the decision. Jackson wrote that Illston’s “temporary, practical, harm-reducing preservation of the status quo was no match for this court’s demonstrated enthusiasm for greenlighting this president’s legally dubious actions in an emergency posture.”

This Will Kill DEI

According to the Daily Wire:

The trial is underway for a professor who sued the University of California, Los Angeles, over his suspension after he refused to grade black students more leniently in the wake of George Floyd’s highly publicized death.

Gordon Klein, an accounting professor at UCLA, is demanding $22 million in damages in a trial that began last week in Santa Monica.

Back in June 2020, just weeks after George Floyd’s death, Klein received an email from a group of his students asking for a “no-harm” final exam that could only help their grades and would involve shorter tests and extended deadlines for final assignments and projects.

The students asked for special accommodations due to “traumas, we have been placed in a position where we much (sic) choose between actively supporting our black classmates or focusing on finishing up our spring quarter,” as The Daily Wire reported at the time.

“We believe that remaining neutral in times of injustice brings power to the oppressor and therefore staying silent is not an option,” the students told Klein.

The students claimed their request was not “a joint effort to get finals canceled for non-black students,” but rather to “ask that you exercise compassion and leniency with black students in our major.”

Klein responded with several sarcastic emails that got him in trouble with the school.

“Thanks for your suggestion in your email below that I give black students special treatment, given the tragedy in Minnesota,” Klein wrote to the students.

“Do you know the names of the classmates that are black?” the professor asked. “How can I identify them since we’ve been having online classes only?”

Klein also asked about students who “may be of mixed parentage, such as half black-half Asian?”

“What do you suggest I do with respect to them? A full concession or just half?” he quipped.

Klein also wrote that “a white student from [Minneapolis] might be possibly even more devastated by this, especially because some might think that they’re racist even if they are not.”

The professor ended his email response to the complaining students with Martin Luther King Jr.’s famous quote about not judging people based on the color of their skin.

Students screenshotted Klein’s email and posted it to social media, where it sparked angry responses.

Klein was suspended and criticized by UCLA in June 2020 before being reinstated in September 2020, according to the Daily Bruin.

“Conduct that demonstrates a disregard for our core principles, including an abuse of power, is not acceptable,” wrote Anderson School Dean Antonio Bernardo in a message to the campus community. “I deeply regret the increased pain and anger that our community has experienced at this very difficult time. We must and will hold each other to higher standards.”

Dumbass of the Day

Superman was not an immigrant. He left Krypton after a natural disaster. He has no home planet or country. He is a refuge.

Also, the saying, “Truth, justice, and the American way” has been replaced by Hollywood (even in Gunn’s own movie).

  • “Truth, Justice, and a Better Tomorrow”: In 2021, DC Comics officially updated Superman’s motto to this phrase, signaling a move toward a more universal message.
  • “Truth, Justice, and the Human Way”: For the 2025 James Gunn-directed Superman film, merchandise and promotional materials have revealed yet another update, replacing “the American way” with “the human way.” This version emphasizes Superman’s role as a hero for all humanity, rather than just an American icon.

Episode 1086 – Here Is A Great Argument for Gun Control!

The Left doesn’t even wait for the victims of the Texas flood to be found before they go out and blame Trump and racism for the flood. Turns out both claims are asinine.

An argument for gun control comes from an unlikely source after a shooting in Philadelphia and the argument is about as coherent as all the other arguments.

And the violence is escalating from the hard Left.

Of Course It’s His Fault

The Department of Homeland Security put out its own thread, which stated:

The mainstream media is deliberately lying about the events leading up to the catastrophic flooding in Texas. The National Weather Service executed timely, precise forecasting and warnings, despite unprecedented rainfall overwhelming the region. Here is the timeline of NWS’s proactive response:

Morning, July 3rd: NWS Austin/San Antonio conducts forecast briefings for emergency management, flagging flash flood risks. Morning, July 3rd: National Water Center issues Flood Hazard Outlook, identifying flash flood potential for Kerrville and surrounding areas. 1:18 PM, July 3rd: NWS issues Flood Watch for Kerr County, effective through Friday morning. 6:10 PM, July 3rd: Weather Prediction Center issues first of three Mesoscale Precipitation Discussions, warning of excessive rainfall and flash flood potential. 6:22 PM, July 3rd: National Water Center warns of considerable flooding risks north and west of San Antonio, including Kerrville. 11:41 PM, July 3rd: First Flash Flood Warning issued for Bandera County.

1:14 AM, July 4th: Flash Flood Warning with “Considerable” tag issued for Bandera and Kerr Counties, triggering Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEAs) and NOAA Weather Radio notifications. 4:03 AM, July 4th: Flash Flood Warning upgraded to Flash Flood Emergency for south-central Kerr County, including Hunt. 4:35 AM, July 4th: Kerr County Sheriff’s Office reports flooding at low water crossings, 201 minutes (over 3 hours) after the 1:14 AM warning. 5:00 AM, July 4th: National Water Center warns of widespread considerable and catastrophic flooding. 5:34 AM, July 4th: Flash Flood Emergency issued for the Guadalupe River, signaling a “large and deadly flood wave.”

The National Weather Service provided over 12 hours of advance notice via the Flood Watch and over 3 hours of lead time for Flash Flood Warnings, with escalated alerts as the storm intensified.

That wasn’t it. Dr. Christina Propst, a pediatrician, posted this:

This nut job supported mask mandates and pushed to have vaccines mandatory for a child to be seen by a doctor.

She was fired from her job at Blue Fish Pediatrics.

Everything is Racist

This Is What a Civil War Will Look Like

According to Fox News:

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and other federal law enforcement officers conducting immigration enforcement have been targeted in at least two ambushes in Texas in recent days.

The Justice Department on Monday named 10 individuals charged with shooting a police officer in the neck and opening fire on other correctional officers outside the Prairieland Detention Center in Alvarado, Texas, on the Fourth of July. The group, donning all black, allegedly first began shooting fireworks at the facility, which is being used by the Department of Homeland Security to hold people related to immigration violations or awaiting deportation.

The defendants are Cameron Arnold, also known as Autumn Hill; Savannah Batten; Nathan Baumann; Zachary Evetts; Joy Gibson; Bradford Morris, also known as Meagan Morris; Maricela Rueda; Seth Sikes; Elizabeth Soto; and Ines Soto. The complaint charges each of them with three counts of attempted murder of a federal officer and three counts of discharging a firearm during, in relation to and in furtherance of a violent crime.

Approximately 10 minutes after convening at the ICE facility, one or two individuals broke off from the main group and began to spray graffiti on vehicles and a guard structure in the parking lot, authorities said. Photos included in the criminal complaint, filed in the Northern District of Texas, show vehicles tagged with the messages “ICE pig” and “F— you pigs.” Correction officers dialed 911 and an Alvarado police officer responded to the scene.

Immediately after the officer got out of his vehicle, one defendant positioned in nearby woods allegedly shot the officer in the neck, according to the complaint. Another assailant, wearing a green mask and standing across the street, then allegedly fired 20 to 30 rounds at unarmed correctional officers who had stepped outside the facility.

“The shooting was captured by both CCTV and the APD officer’s body-worn camera,” the complaint says.

The FBI recovered AR-style rifles from the scene. The group fled from the detention center separately – some on foot, some in vehicles – and were later stopped by other law enforcement officers. The complaint notes that the defendants were “dressed in black, military-style clothing,” some were wearing body armor, some were armed, and some had two-way radios.

Prosecutors said a total of twelve sets of body armor were found during searches of vehicles associated with the defendants, on their persons, and in the area around the Prairieland Detention Center. Law enforcement also found spray paint, magazines containing ammunition and flyers stating, “FIGHT ICE TERROR WITH CLASS WAR!” and “FREE ALL POLITICAL PRISONERS.” A flag was found that read, “RESIST FASCISM – FIGHT OLIGARCHY.”

Episode 1085 – Not All That Glitters is Gold!

A horrible flood strike Texas.

Donald Trump makes a big announcement concerning national parks.

And the Big Beautiful Bill is signed into law. Let’s talk about what is in the bill.

News

Here is some news:

  • As of now, 70 people are dead with about a dozen missing during a storm in Texas that overflowed the Guadelupe River in Kerr country.
    • The deluge was so swift, the flooding started 45 minutes after the rain started, giving little warning.
    • One of the bigger disasters is the flood hitting a Christian summer camp. 21 kids, so far, have been confirmed dead.
  • Two American contractors were injured in Gaza on Saturday after terrorists threw two grenades in their direction at the humanitarian aid distribution site where they were working.
    • The United States-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation said that the two highly decorated American veterans employed at their site are receiving medical treatment and are in stable condition.
    • According to GHF, following the successful distribution of food aid to Gazans, two assailants threw Iranian-made grenades packed with ball bearings at the contractors before running into the crowd of civilians. No civilians or Gazan workers were injured in the attack.
  • Joey Chestnut stuffed himself with 70 ½ hot dogs in 10 minutes, marking the 41-year-old Indiana resident’s 17th “Mustard Belt” win in 20 tries – the most any competitor has won. Still, he fell short of his record of 76 hot dogs and buns from four years ago. He won his first Nathan’s competition in 2007, and an American has won the contest every year since.
  • President Donald Trump announced on Thursday that his administration would begin charging foreign tourists more to enter America’s national parks than U.S. residents.
    • The announcement at a rally in Iowa came as he signed two executive orders dealing with national parks, including one that directs Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum to “appropriately” raise prices of entrance fees and recreation passes for non-residents.
  • Elon Musk has announced the formation of a new political party called the America Party. This move comes after a public and significant fallout with President Donald Trump, particularly over disagreements regarding tax and spending legislation563. Musk declared the party’s creation on his social media platform X, positioning it as an alternative to the existing Republican and Democratic parties, which he criticized as a “one-party system” that fails to represent the people’s interests563.

Big Beautiful Bill Is Law

On July 4, Independence Day, Donald Trump signed the Big Beautiful Bill into law.

The Good

  • Makes permanent the Trump tax cuts from his first term.
  • Medicaid and SNAP cuts: The bill includes significant cuts to Medicaid and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), which the Congressional Budget Office estimates could leave millions without health insurance.
  • Expanded health savings accounts: Families have greater ability to save for health expenses tax-free.
  • Puts work requirements on Medicaid recipients.
    • They only need to work, volunteer, or go to school.
    • Work requirements are 20 hours a week.
    • Anyone who has a disability or meets the age requirements will not have to worry about not qualifying.
    • There seems to be a lot of conflation with the other entitlements. More an that when we get to the Dumbasses of the Day.
  • It adds to the military.
  • Border security funding: Over $46.5 billion is allocated for border wall construction, $45 billion to expand immigrant detention capacity, and $30 billion for ICE resources1.
  • Asylum application fee: A new minimum $100 fee for asylum seekers is established, lower than the initially proposed $1,0001.
  • There will not be tax on overtime or interest payment for cars.
  • Increased standard deduction and child tax credit: The standard deduction rises to $31,500 for families, and the child tax credit is boosted to $2,200, benefiting over 40 million families.
  • Expanded education and child care credits: 529 education savings accounts are expanded, and credits for child care, paid leave, and adoption are enhanced.
  • Rollback of green energy credits: Many clean energy tax credits from the Inflation Reduction Act are repealed or restricted, particularly those for electric vehicles, residential energy efficiency, and solar/wind projects56.
  • Support for traditional energy: New provisions support nuclear, hydropower, geothermal, and certain biofuels, while imposing restrictions on credits involving foreign entities of concern56.
  • Incentives for US manufacturing: The bill provides tax incentives for companies that manufacture in the US and hire American workers2.
  • Expansion of small business stock gain exclusion and other rural/small business incentives: Various provisions aim to boost rural economic growth and small businesses6.
  • Air traffic control modernization: $12.5 billion is allocated for overhauling the US air traffic control system4.
  • Credit union tax status preserved: The not-for-profit tax status of credit unions is maintained4.
  • $150–$157 billion in new defense spending: This is a one-time surge, bringing the total defense budget for the next fiscal year to nearly $1 trillion—a record high123456.
  • 13% increase in defense spending: The bill accelerates the timeline for reaching a $1 trillion annual defense budget, previously projected for 20264.

The Not So Great

  • No tax on tips.
  • New children’s savings accounts: The bill creates “Trump Accounts,” a new savings program for children, with potential initial deposits from the Treasury.
  • Increased SALT cap: The deduction cap for state and local taxes is raised from $10,000 to $40,000 for five years, after which it returns to $10,000.
  • Debt Ceiling Increase:
The bill raised the U.S. debt ceiling by $5 trillion, marking the largest single increase in U.S. history123. This move allows the federal government to continue borrowing to meet its existing obligations and fund the new spending and tax provisions included in the legislation.
  • The bill did not cut spending to 2019 levels.

The bill is projected to add $3.4 trillion to federal deficits over 10 years, according to the Congressional Budget Office, primarily due to the permanent tax cuts and increased spending1.
