RACIST!

Episode 356 – So, There Are Some Problems, Huh?

The embrace of the United States government for Black Lives Matter is now being pushed, secretly, for the world to see.

But is this organization long lasting like the NAACP? Not looking that way.

It’s Suppose to be the American Flag

The memo, first reported by Jack Posobiec at Human Events, prefaces the guidance on BLM in relation to the upcoming anniversary of George Floyd’s death:

May 25 marks one year since the brutal murder of George Floyd by police officers in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Last year, the horrific video of Mr. Floyd’s final 9 minutes and 29 seconds went viral and spurred Black Lives Matter protests worldwide, in response to his senseless killing and to demand an end to systemic racism and police brutality. One year later, many in the international community will honor Mr. Floyd and acknowledge the long journey nations face to advance racial justice. Leading up to May 25, the Department has issued guidance on the use of Black Lives Matter language, banners, and flags.

The department describes BLM as leaderless and organic, adding that the Black Lives Matter Global Network is “the most prominent” organization that uses “BLM terminology.”

According to the Office of U.S. Special Counsel, “As a social movement, BLM gained prominence following a series of high-profile killings of Black Americans in 2013 and 2014 and, in particular, the acquittal of George Zimmerman for the killing of Trayvon Martin. The movement appears to have begun organically on social media. The phrase ‘Black Lives Matter’ then became a rallying cry for protesters and organizations seeking to raise awareness of, and respond to, issues associated with racism in the United States. BLM is thus an umbrella term for a constellation of ideas, objectives, and groups. There is no ‘leader’ of the BLM movement. Rather, there are numerous organizations that use BLM terminology to varying degrees, including some whose names include the phrase ‘Black Lives Matter.’ Of these, the most prominent is the Black Lives Matter Global Network (BLMGN).”
No:
  • BLM has a leadership and is organized.
  • They have a flag and a hierarchy. The leader just quit.
  • They have a philosophy. They believe in:
    • Marxism.
    • Segregation.
    • Racism.
    • Ending of the nuclear family.
    • Ending of capitalism.
    • Ending of the two party system.
    • Eliminating state, county and local police.
    • No law, order, and consequences (incarceration).
    • BLM, like Antifa, wants to be the national police.
    • They say they care about the LGBTQ but they don’t. They say this to get more people on their side.

They are a Leftist militia. Just like Antifa. You know, the same militias that the 2nd Amendments allows Constitutionalists to create to protect ourselves from the government. The same 2nd Amendment the Left wants to destroy unless it conforms to the will of BLM and Antifa.

There’s a reason the Left wants to criminalize Conservatives. That reason is to take our rights away so we can’t fight against them. The way they do that is normalize their movement, not only within this country because they are all globalists, but normalize their movement throughout the world.

Good news: Republicans might be seeing that. They introduced a bill that would stop this idiocy of normalizing BLM. It won’t pass but I think it will be argued. On television. For all to see. Better news: I think people are beginning to see it now.

This Didn’t Help Their Cause

There are things that

In April 2015, Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors told an audience at Harvard Law School that they should “end the imperialist project that’s called Israel.”

Speaking on a panel hosted by the Human Rights Program at Harvard, entitled “Globalizing Ferguson: Radicalized Policing and International Resistance,” Cullors stated:

I am also the co-founder of Black Lives Matter … What I will say, what’s important, I think, in this conversation around trans-national solidarity is that it’s simple. We should be building relationships with people across the world. If we believe we are part of the human family, then we need to push ourselves in particular ways to see the connections always. The other thing I’ll say is Palestine is our generation’s South Africa, and if we don’t step up boldly and courageously to end the imperialist project that’s called Israel, we’re doomed.

Couple of problems here that I’ll say again:

  • Again, she points out that BLM is a globalist and humanist organization.
  • “Human family” is a slap at the nuclear family because they see humanity being the family. That’s collectivism. That’s socialism.
  • Israel gave up the West Bank and Gaza Strip. If they are imperialists, they’re really bad at it.
  • Actually, there no such thing as Palestine. It’s never existed.
  • Twenty percent of the population is Arab. They have representation in the government and on their supreme court. Israel is really bad at being an apartheid state.
  • How many Jews live in the Gaza Strip? Zero. How many Jews live in the West Bank? Zero. Who’s the apartheid state?

Cullors went to Palestine with a group called the “Dream Defenders”, a BLM sub-group that is anti-Semitic and believed in the Boycott, Divest and Sanctions (BDS) movement. She said when she got back from Israel:

And I think that I had learned about Palestine for a long time, I’d known about it, been wanting to travel, and I was really, really grateful when the Dream Defenders asked me to come on the delegation. But nothing would’ve prepared me for the level of militarization and the level of violence that we would witness those ten days inside of Palestine. Nothing would have prepared me for the ways in which we witnessed people’s terror. People live in terror on a daily basis. And nothing would have prepared me for how much clarity I would have on why we have to be a part of Palestinian solidarity.

Apparently she didn’t go when Hamas launched 4000 missiles into Israel, aiming at civilian population.

The entire organization ignored the 4000 missiles. They supported the Palestinian Authority and Hamas during the conflict started by the Palestinian Authority and Hamas. This has turned out to be a very unpopular stance.

People Are Done

Patrice Cullors said on Thursday that she is resigning from BLM. This comes on the heels of the decreasing popularity of BLM. The popularity is dropping because:

  • Violent riots propagated and planned by BLM.
  • The extreme views such as the desire for Marxism and the end of the nuclear family.
  • Cullors spending BLM money, which came from donations, on three or four houses in the last two years.

But another reason is because Black Lives Matter, in the most egregious, I’ll say scandal, is not using their power to actually help the black community.

The mothers of Tamir Rice, Breonna Taylor, and others are lashing out just as Cullors steps down, accusing both BLM and Cullors of using their children’s deaths to raise money but failing to pass the money on to black families in need.

Samaria Rice, the mother of 12-year-old Rice, said to the New York Post:

“I don’t believe she is going anywhere. It’s all a facade. She’s only saying that to get the heat off her right now.”

Rice added:

“She first sought out Cullors to enlist the group’s help in re-opening a federal investigation into her son’s 2014 death. She said she exchanged a few emails with Cullors over the years, but had never managed a face-to-face meeting.”

She also said that Cullors raised $5000 for Tamir’s funeral but hasn’t seen anything from BLM yet.

Lisa Simpson, whose son was shot in Los Angeles, California, added:

“Now she doesn’t have to show her accountability. She can just take the money and run.”

Both women made the following statement:

“We never hired them to be the representatives in the fight for justice for our dead loved ones murdered by the police. The ‘activists’ have events in our cities and have not given us anything substantial for using our loved ones’ images and names on their flyers. We don’t want or need y’all parading in the streets accumulating donations, platforms, movie deals, etc. off the death of our loved ones, while the families and communities are left clueless and broken.”

My question to you is why hasn’t there been an investigation yet? These folks are a registered non-profit and it seems only the leadership is profiting. Isn’t that illegal?

But it get worse. They have internal problems.

Rashard Turner, the founder of a Black Lives Matter chapter in St. Paul, Minnesota, revealed in a video published last week that he quit the organization after he “learned the ugly truth” while being an insider in the far-left group.

He released the following video about Black lives Matter:

This is a great message, which is why I played the whole thing. He:

  • Expressed the importance of the family, which BLM rejects.
  • He speaks of the importance of education, which BLM only embraces when their message is pushed (CRT).
  • He believes in opportunities our system because he had them and works to pave the road for people like him to realize their opportunities. BLM tells black people they have no opportunities.
  • He’s an idealist. He believes in action. This is a good man.

That Must Be It

The New York Times has found the reason why Black Lives Matters has lost popularity: Republican elites.

According to the Daily Wire (because I don’t subscribe to the New York Times:

While “there has been a net increase in favorability toward Black Lives Matter since 2018,” it “peaked in the immediate aftermath of George Floyd’s death and then swiftly declined,” especially “among Republicans and white Americans, two large and often overlapping groups.”

Of course, BLM’s behavior and beliefs have nothing to do with why Republicans don’t like them.

The Times later admitted positive views of the BLM organization “did not last long” and “swiftly declined” across every “racial group.” Rather than blame this universal decline on the BLM organization, the Times blamed the GOP.

“The precipitous decline in support … mirrors the increased politicization of the issue by elites,” the article, by Jennifer Chudy and Hakeem Jefferson, continued. “In the days and weeks following Floyd’s death, Republican politicians quickly turned attention away from the actions of a murderous police officer to those individuals protesting the injustice.”

  • Last I checked, blacks voted for Democrats. If blacks are not happy with BLM than how is it Republicans fault?
  • Of course, the $3 billion in damage caused by riots never came across the minds of the writers.
  • And maybe a lot of people believe the police aren’t “murderous”.

https://www.dailywire.com/news/new-york-times-blames-gop-elites-for-blms-decline-in-popularity-nationwide

Conclusion

The life of Black Lives Matter is on a timer:

  • People do not like their belief system.
  • They have shown to them to be extremely radical.
  • They have caused nothing but chaos in the form of riots.
  • Though they have taken in $90 billion over the last year, they have done nothing to improve the lives of black people.
  • They have ignored the deaths of black people by other black criminals.
  • They have shown to be extremely corrupt.

People are tired of it and now we are seeing push back. That’s a good thing because it means we are going to see pushback against of of the Left’s policies which BLM propagates.

Episode 345 – Really, Sidewalks?

More bad news for Old Joe.

Liz Cheney gets her just desserts.

And white people can’t even walk right.

Boy, That Was Fast

The crappy jobs report last week has really put a strangle on the economy. Inflation, which most of us thought wouldn’t hit for a couple year due to the debt, has reared its ugly head already due to no one working, free money and a demand for goods.

According to CNBC:

“Inflation accelerated at its fastest pace in more than 12 years for April as the U.S. economic recovery kicked into gear and energy prices jumped higher. The Consumer Price Index, which measures a basket of goods as well as energy and housing costs, rose 4.2% from a year ago, compared to the Dow Jones estimate for a 3.6% increase. The monthly gain was 0.8%, against the expected 0.2%.”

Oops.

The Stock Market is flipping out. The Wall Street Journal stated:

“Rising commodity markets, supply-chain blockages and hiring difficulties have prompted some investors to expect a prolonged upswing in consumer prices. That could lead the Federal Reserve to raise its target for short-term interest rates sooner than it has signaled, potentially weighing on stocks and other assets that have benefited from over a year of near-zero borrowing costs.”

I guess it might be time to start buying gold and silver.

The economic situation we are in is the worst since the 2008 recession. But we can go way further back. There are a lot of consistencies with what happened in the 70s under Jimmy Carter, arguably the worst President in United States history.

Under Jimmy Carter we had:

  • High inflation.
  • Joblessness.
  • Major division.
  • A fuel shortage.
  • Major foreign policy issues (Iran).

Joe Biden is creating a disaster within this country. You want to know the good news? Jimmy Carter only lasted one term and his incompetence led to the right wing radical by the name of Ronald Reagan.

Good Bye and Good Riddance

Liz Cheney, who has just been an absolute splinter for the Republican party has finally been stripped of her leadership role in Congress.

You might be asking yourself why I haven’t really talked about this before. Simply, it’s because I don’t care. I think this has been a story that has been horribly overinflated by the news media and this happens all the time within both parties. The reason this story is big is because it’s within the Republican party and the Leftist media wants to make it out that there is disintegration of the Republican party.

Listen, there is no disintegration of the Republican party. Liz Cheney is a Conservative. She had an 80% approval from Conservative groups and voted with Republicans 96% of the time. She just didn’t like Trump and was vocal about it. This could be seen in her press conference today. Listen:

This is her problem:

  • She didn’t just dislike Donald Trump, she hated him.
  • She went on all Left wing news outlets, like MSNBC and CNN, and did nothing but bitch about Trump.
  • She would be in press conferences with other House leadership and just start bitching about Trump. Out of nowhere.

She just couldn’t get over it and she still can’t. All she had to do was be quiet. She’s from the very Conservative state of Wyoming and is probably going to lose the next election.

I just don’t think this is a big deal. I don’t care. republicans have every right to choose the leadership. She’s going to be gone soon anyway. It’s media hype again. Mitt Romney and Liz Cheney are really the only conflicts within the Republican party. Democrats have far more issues that are also very public. These just have not been chosen to be news stories.

We Can’t Even Walk Right?

OK, this is the most crazy story of the day. It is a slow news day. It also shows just how our college professors have nothing better to do than opine about crap.

A Northwestern University professor actually said that the way white people walk is proof of internalized racism. I’m not frigging kidding. We can’t even walk right. This thing was actually seen as relevant enough to put in the university newspaper.

It is titled: Are the sidewalks at Northwestern too White, too? by opinion editor Kenny Allen.

When I first got to Northwestern, I wondered why walking around on campus could be so frustrating. Even when sidewalks were relatively empty, I would often have to walk way around people to pass without bumping into them. At first, I chalked it up to the geographic diversity of the school; maybe the people that came to this school were used to different ways of moving through a public place. But after talking to my Black friends about my experience, they echoed it: people at this predominantly White school would not move out of our way on the sidewalk.

I think Kenny is not used to being in a big city. This crap happens all the time and race is not an issue. Everyone is in their own little world in crowded big cities.

This was one of many reminders that diversity does not mean inclusion at NU. Even though the University has worked to increase the number of Black students here, that doesn’t mean we’re welcomed with open arms. Bedelia Nicola Richards, a sociology professor at the University of Richmond (sociology is not a science) laid out a set of five questions to determine whether one’s university is racist:

  1. Which group or groups feel most at home on the campus and which ones feel like (unwanted) guests? (notice everything is about feelings and perceptions? Feelings and perceptions are not reality and truth).
  2. Whose norms, values and perspectives does the institution consider to be normal or legitimate? Whose does it silence, marginalize or delegitimize? (Norms, values and perceptions are subjective. There has to be an assumption that everyone knows about one’s norms, values and perceptions).
  3. Who inhabits positions of power within the institution? (This is subjective and perception-based. There’s no objective measure).
  4. Whose experiences, norms, values and perspectives influence an institution’s laws, policies and systems of evaluation? (Do I really need to say anything here I haven’t said before?)
  5. Whose interests does the institution protect? (If you’re in the institution, wouldn’t you think the institution would protect you? More feelings and perception.)

At this school, the answer to most of those questions is White people. Any honest accounting of the decision-making structures at this school would tell you so. And this power dynamic is always present in the way Black students interact with this institution.

Where does he come up with that? Because he feels that way? What if I were to tell him that I think its black people because of the way of the word today? Based off of the question asked, it could easily be?

Almost everybody in the United States gets some sort of education about Jim Crow segregation. Black people had to attend different schools, weren’t allowed to vote and didn’t have any legal protection from discrimination. These laws helped to create an image of Black inferiority after the abolition of slavery. And that sentiment trickled down to the way people interact on an interpersonal level.

The formal rules of Jim Crow were accompanied by a set of informal ones that governed the way Black people approached White people in public space and vice versa. That social order required Black people to yield to White people whenever possible. Both sets of rules told White people that they were superior and Black people that they were inferior — and that this pattern of subjugation was the natural way for things to be. Black people were made to show deference to White people any time they interacted. One of the ways they were made to do so was by stepping off the sidewalk when a White person was walking past.

The informal rules are passed down through generations just like any other kind of etiquette. White people came to expect the right of way in public spaces. White people who were accustomed to moving through the world like that — intentionally or not — taught their kids to move through the world in the same way. And the racism that undergirded Jim Crow wasn’t eliminated just because the laws were no longer overtly racist.

Jim Crow was systemic racism. No question and I would not be surprised that black people would have to step off a sidewalk if a white person walked by. But that’s over. People don’t do that anymore and haven’t for a long time. I have never see a person of color clear the way on a sidewalk because I was walking by. Have you?

This kind of thing makes this entire argument invalid. Thank God there is only one more paragraph.

Many White people walk around campus having unknowingly absorbed this particular facet of White supremacy, and the leaders of the institution do little to make us believe that White supremacy is something worth challenging in the first place. This is not to say that giving people space in public is a way to be anti-racist; the sidewalk question is just one way in which Black people are made to feel unwelcome. This is to say that essentially every aspect of our society, including the way we physically move through space, has been shaped by a racist legacy. Uprooting that White supremacy requires both recognizing its scale and disrupting it however it shows up.

What a stupid article.

  • He offers no evidence of anything nor any examples.
  • He brings up something that happened sixty years ago and says things are still like that.
  • This is an example of one who so self-aggrandizes, is so self-centered, that he believes its racist that people do not acknowledge him while walking around.
  • The fact that this article was allowed to be published and should be taken seriously tells me that blacks actually do have the power. That’s what I think. This article is proof.
  • Finally, it also shows that anything can be seen as racist. No matter what I do, something I do will prove I’m a racist. I can’t win.

Episode 339 – That’s Racist!

The Left continues to prove that they are racist.

Joe Biden is bringing back Obama’s tyranny.

And Old Joe just keeps creating his owns controversies.

That’s Racist

Tim Scott, the Senator from South Carolina said something that just could not be tolerated from a black man. Scott said this in response to Joe Biden’s speech last week. Listen:

Here’s the thing:

  • I did not listen to the speech because I thought he would be right. I like Tim Scott.
  • Time Scott was right.
  • Joe Biden’s speech was terrible, racist and completely missed the target when it came to the United States and the Constitution.
  • Old Joe is suffering from dementia.

But the Democrats response to Tim Scott’s speech was priceless because it showed just how racist the left is. And I mean they are racist. The way they have always been racist. And the blacks who have been subjugated by leftist racists have decided to join them and have also become racists.

By the way, all these people are white.

Sonny Hostin of The View said about Biden’s speech:

“We haven’t seen that kind of speech in four years. So I was really enamored of that. I was also really happy that he called out white supremacy. He clearly said that white supremacy is — our intelligence agencies have determined that white supremacy is terrorizing our country. That is just the truth of it.”

No, she was wrong. The speech was boring, filled with lies and divisive.

Then, Sonny had this to say about Tim Scott’s speech:

“I was disappointed that he said America is not a racist country without also talking about the systemic racism that is plaguing this country. Why was he chosen to give this rebuttal? He was chosen because he is the only black Republican senator,” she added. “He is that person. He is the person that Republicans want to put out front because of the problem of racism in this country and he knows that. So I was sort of disappointed that he was used in this way and didn’t take that opportunity to address that type of — this type of issue head-on. That was a disappointment to me.”

I do want to point out that Scott is the only black Senator. Guess how many black Senators the Democrats have: 2.

By the way, saying that the only reason Scott was picked to do the rebuttal is because he’s black, not an intelligent and important part of the Republican party and that he is right, is racist.

Not to be out-dumbed on The View, Joy Behar, an old, rich white woman said:

Gary O’Conner, a white representative from Texas stated:

“I had hoped that Scott might show some common sense, but it seems clear he is little more than an oreo with no real principles.”

There have been calls for him to resign. Probably won’t happen.

Are you seeing the pattern? There are more but I am not in the mood to hunt for ALL the racist videos out there because a black man, who is a Republican Senator, told the American public that the country is not systemically racist.

I just want to say something really out there:

  • Every comment by the leftist media and politicians about Tim Scott is racist.
  • Democrats are racist. They always have been…historically.
  • The Left is racist.
  • Critical race theory is racist.
  • American is not racist or systemically racist.
  • Most people in the United States are not racist.

Do you know who else thinks so? The Left. Their opinions are not being embraced by the public and we have an election coming up.

Maybe We Should Change Our Direction

Here’s the thing: systemic racism is not popular with the average citizen. What sucks for the Left is that there is going to be an election in 2022. They are beginning to see that. They are beginning to see that people do not like all this critical race theory crap.

Here We Go Again

Ugh…

Barrack Obama:

  • Weaponized the IRS.
  • Weaponized the Justice Department.
  • Weaponized the CIA.
  • Weaponized the FBI.
  • His his indiscretions with the Weather Underground, the Reverend Jeramiah Wright and a possible cocaine fueled, homosexual affair with a man named Larry Sinclair. I can’t confirm any of that because Larry Sinclair is dead. Sound familiar?
  • Imprisoned reporters.
  • Tapped phones.
  • Spread disinformation through the news media.
  • Ignored Joe Biden’s indiscretions, Hilary Clinton’s E-mail, blocked the Fast and the Furious scandal and lied about Benghazi.
  • Had news agencies investigated by the Justice Department.
  • Used CIA spies infiltrate the Trump campaign.
  • Created the scenario that led to the impeachment of President Trump.

Guess what? All that fun is starting again with Barrack’s minion Joe Biden.

Rudy Giuliani’s home in New York was raided early in the morning last Wednesday and confiscated a bunch of electronic equipment including phones, computers and tablets.

The raid, which was unjustified according to Giuliani’s attorney, who was all ready cooperating with the DOJ. Apparently, the DOJ is investigating a FARA violation that may have been committed by Giuliani when he was investigating Hunter Biden while in Ukraine.

Couple of problems with this:

  • FARA is the Foreign Agent Reporting Act.
  • Giuliani was Trump’s personal attorney. His investigation had nothing to do with the government so he was technically not an agent for the United States.
  • John Kerry did represent the United States, didn’t apply as an agent with Iran and tried to undermine Trump during his administration. This is what-aboutism but I find it disturbing.
  • FARA is probably unconstitutional because of free speech. That has never been litigated.
  • Seven people have been accused of a FARA violation and only three went to trial and no one got convicted. It’s a BS investigation.
  • This is just governmental bullying. The problem is that this type of bullying has a tendency to lead people to go broke. Ask Mike Flynn and Roger Stone.

So be prepared for all our governmental institutions are going to be politicized and they are going to be coming after us.

Biden Made This a Story

India is having a massive problem with COVID. The infection rates are the highest since the pandemic began and the death rates are so high they are burning bodies in the streets.

In order to contain the virus, Joe Biden has banned travel to and from India.

This makes sense and really shouldn’t be a surprise or controversial, right? Well, it is. That’s because when Trump halted travel to and from China in January of 2020, Joe Biden, then candidate for President, tweeted this:

There was definite backlash.

Episode 325 – The Push Back is Coming

We need to have some fun today.

Racism, sexism, homophobia are reaching new lows. What’s funny, people you’d never think would call this out are calling it out. Well, I think they are because some of this stuff is getting stupid.

Let’s talk about Megan Rapido and unequal pay for women and the response from someone who could be hurt by her desires.

Then let’s take a look at the most idiotic racist claims and then a reasonable response about race from an unlikely source.

But first, remember this:

The Backlash Might Be Starting

About two weeks ago, Megan Rapinoe, the lesbian woman who plays on the Women’s US Soccer team, was invited to the White House by Joe Biden and started bitching about how women are not paid as much as men.

Here is the clip:

A few things here that I’m sure I have talked about in a previous podcast:

  • First off, we know her credentials. She won a lot of World Cups and Olympics. But she won them on the women’s team. That matters because people do not watch the women’s teams in greater numbers than the men’s team.
  • The “devalued, disrespected and dismissed” thing is just crap. She is worth $3 million dollars because she can kick a soccer ball.
  • She has been on every magazine cover and sports show in America.
  • She’s at the White House and has met two Presidents. She could have met three but she refused to meet with Trump.
  • She doesn’t deserve what the men make because women’s sport doesn’t make what the men’s sports make. In fact, by percentage, women make more than men based on the contract they signed.
  • The problem is that women’s soccer during the World Cup made $500 million while the men’s team made $4 billion. The women made 13% of the $500 million they negotiated and the men made about 8% of the $4 billion. Who’s going to make more?
  • The Women’s National team, with Megan Rapinoe, played a U-15 soccer team and lost 5-2.
  • By the way, she can try out for the men’s team. Nothing is stopping her.

Here’s the problem for these woke activists. People are beginning to push back especially at the thought of redistributing money from big ticket men’s sports to small ticket women’s sports. This is something they are doing already in the NBA and people think they should do more.

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green said he is “tired” of listening to female athletes complain about unequal pay.

“You know, I’m really tired of seeing them complain about the lack of pay because they’re doing themselves a disservice by just complaining. They are [just complaining] because they’re not laying out steps that they can take to change that. So, it’s coming off as a complaint because the people that can change it, they are just going to continue to say, ‘Well, the revenue isn’t there. The revenue isn’t there. So if you don’t bring in the revenue, we can’t up your pay.’”

“They’re going to keep using that. But the reality is, as true as that is, it’s an excuse. Everyone says ‘We support women, we support women empowerment, we support women in the workplace, we do this for women, we do x for women,’ blah blah blah. Everyone uses it to their advantage, and yet these women are not using these people who are saying these very things to their advantage. So then it just becomes a complaint that falls on deaf ears.”

Here’s the thing, he’s right. All these gals are doing is bitching without actually laying out a plan to improve the product they are trying to sell.

This is also a sign where people are going to push back against this woke crap, especially since their ideas are always about redistribution and not about meritocracy.

Racism Everywhere

I love this stuff. First, it’s funny as hell. This stuff is so crazy, a normal person cannot take it seriously.

The second I love it when racists who call us racists come up with this crazy stuff because people who might not be sane will begin to be turned off and will push back.

Let’s take a look at the things that are being called racist.

Swimming/Water

There is an article I read this weekend on The Guardian called, ‘I was the only black kid in the pool’: why swimming is so white by Rob Walker

Filmmaker Ed Accura was 53 when he learned to swim, and only then through fear that his young daughter might get into trouble and he wouldn’t be able to save her.

“I live near the Thames and I said to myself, if anything happened to her and I couldn’t help, I would never forgive myself.”

Until then he suffered from what he calls Bl-aquaphobia, a word he coined to describe the inherent fear black people have of water – a fear that’s “very, very different” from their white counterparts, he says.

“With white people, it’s usually to do with something that’s happened – ‘I fell into the water, there was an accident’, something like that. But there are a lot of black people, myself included, that have aquaphobia and don’t even know it.”

According to Swim England, the sport’s governing body, 95% of black adults and 80% of black children in England do not swim, and only 2% of regular swimmers are black.

This article gets better. I actually read the entire thing to Josie, who is Mexican, and she started laughing and pointed out that she doesn’t know one Mexican, including herself, that can’t swim. I asked her is she thought it was because of white people and she said, “No, it’s because of a fear of drowning.”

I thought that was funny.

I’m going to skip some of the article but this guy made a YouTube video and an actual full feature film on this subject.

The cultural barriers to swimming – from Afro hair to dry skin, to worrying about the myth that black people have heavier bones – are born of institutional and systemic inequalities that you see right across the aquatic industry, says Danielle Obe, founding member of the Black Swimming Association, a charity which launched last year to tackle the lack of diversity in swimming.

“Our community perceives swimming as a white man’s sport. Why? Because that’s what they see!” Obe says, arguing that it’s the same messaging you see whether it’s the Swimming Teachers’ Association or The Royal National Lifeboat Institution.

She points to swim caps as a case in point – they were designed by Speedo 50 years ago for Caucasian hair, “but they don’t work for us because our hair grows up and defies gravity”.

It seems to me that swimming is not the problem, it’s water. Here’s a news flash: We all are scared of water when we first learn to swim.

Also, is someone stopping black people from swimming?

Trees are Racist

A high school on Portland named Ida B. Wells High School decided it was time to vote for a school mascot. They chose an evergreen tree. Now this makes sense because there are a lot of evergreen trees in Oregon and Stanford’s mascot is a tree.

Can you think of a less offensive thing for a mascot than a tree? It’s not a form of Indian like a Redskin, Chief or Seminole. A tree doesn’t have any connotations of violence. They just kind of stand there. Trees are free of the controversies of sex and gender. They just drop a pine cone and there’s another tree. One is not culturally appropriating a tree because they have no culture. They just stand there and live forever.

But we’d be wrong. The school administration but a hold…well…let’s here what Portland Tribune reported:

“But just before the Portland Public Schools Board of Education’s vote to approve the new mascot Tuesday, March 30, Director Michelle DePass shared community concerns of an unwanted correlation between Ida B. Wells—the historic Black activist, and Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist who documented and crusaded against lynching—and a tree which could conjure up reminders of hanging people with ropes from branches.”

DePass asked the mascot committee if they considered any concerns when coming up with the new mascot.

“I think everyone comes with blind spots and I think that might’ve been a really big blind spot.”

No kidding, trees need to be cancelled.

Diets are Racist

Listen to this:

That’s right! Dieting is racist.

You are listening to the audio but the video is very interesting. Each of the gals who are speaking are at least 3 bills. They’re big girls. I’m pretty sure they didn’t get that way by eating broccoli and salads. And they don’t look like they would have the self-discipline to diet to the point they will lose weight.

And when has dieting been easy for white people? There are millions of white people who can’t lose weight. There a millions of Hispanic people who can’t lose weight.

As far as the stress of racism causing black people to gain weight, that’s stupid. Here are these big girls, on a television show, complaining about racism. Hey, in the 50s and 60s, blacks would have never been given a television show to bitch about racism and being fat.

I also want to point out that their argument kind of has an opposite effect. Being as heavy as they are kind of shows that there is a lot of food out there. Are they having an obesity issue in Africa that I don’t know about? There’s still slavery in Africa and I’m pretty sure that’s stressful. What about the oppression of the women in the Middle East? They are under a lot of stress because of oppression and they don’t have an obesity problem.

Could they be fat because of their day-to-day diets and personal habits?

This is the problem with our culture. Personal responsibility. Personal responsibility is hard. Finding an excuse for personal failure and becoming a victim is easy. And the big excuse for everything being used today is racism.

Sir Charles Hits It Again

This is leading Charles Barkley, who is not known for following the company narrative, made a comment about our politics today and the use of race in our culture:

“I truly believe in my heart most white people and black people are awesome people. But we are so stupid following our politicians, whether they are Republicans or Democrats, and their only job is, ‘Hey, let’s make these people not like each other. We don’t live in their neighborhoods. [We’ve] all got money. Let’s make the whites and blacks not like each other; let’s make rich people and poor people not like each other; let’s scramble the middle class.

“I truly believe that in my heart.”

Fact check: True!

Charles Barkley isn’t the sharpest tool in the drawer and I don’t believe he’s a conservative but I know he is not a Leftist. He’s also very observant of society and culture. He frequently gets into trouble for pointing this out during his commentary for the NBA.

You know who else buys this stuff? Shaquille O’Neil. Don’t forget, he was, or is, a reservist police officer. You think he’s for BLM or Antifa or defunding the police? He frequently agrees with Chuck.

The point is this extremism is going to have push back. You know why? It’s stupid and is beginning to go overboard.

Episode 320 – That is Actually Racist

Not making Washington DC a state is racist.

The Biden administration is racist because it doesn’t have enough Asian Americans.

Where did all this everything-is-racist crap come from?

And baseball starts this week and they still don’t get it.

Of Course It’s Racist

Here we go again. The Democrats will do anything they can to guarantee another two Senators. So let’s try to make Washington DC a state.

There are a lot of reasons that Washington DC cannot be a state. Maybe too many and too strong of reasons. But the Democrats have decided to go to that old well of racism. Let’s listen to Ayanna Pressley:

Racism is the best argument the Democrats can make and they have to hope everyone believes in it for that charge to work. I’ll tell you why after I tell you why Washington DC can never be a state.

There are major Constitutional issues with making Washington DC a state. I’m not surprised Democrats don’t know this because they have not actually read the Constitution.

Article 1, Section 8: Permanent  Congressional Power:

The Congress shall have Power… To exercise exclusive Legislation in all Cases whatsoever, over such District (not exceeding ten Miles square) as may, by Cession of particular States, and the Acceptance of Congress, become the Seat of the Government of the United States….

Done. Pre the Constitution, Washington DC cannot belong to any state. Federalist Paper 43 by Madison explains why. There is no ambiguity.

In fact, Washington DC was a city in Maryland and had to succeed in order to house Congress. Technically, Washington DC is part of Maryland and not a separate state.

Then there’s Article IV, Section 3: Maryland’s Permission. Washington DC cannot not become a state without Maryland’s permission. Because it was city in Maryland. This is still argued as being a Constitutional issue but there are arguments on both sides.

Finally, and the most serious, is the 23rd Amendment:

The District constituting the seat of government of the United States shall appoint in such manner as the Congress may direct: A number of electors of President and Vice President equal to the whole number of Senators and Representatives in Congress to which the District would be entitled if it were a State, but in no event more than the least populous State….

What the fuck does that mean. I had to look it up.

The language of the amendment obviously recognizes an existing district of government of a particular size. And it refers to the District as a permanent constitutional entity. Legislated D.C. statehood would be an oddity to say the least when the Constitution itself refers to the area “as if it were a State.”

The 23rd Amendment also raises a conflict concerning the number of electors to which a state of New Columbia would be entitled. Every existing state is entitled under Article II, Section I of the Constitution to electors in proportion to its congressional representation. Yet the terms of the 23rd Amendment provide that D.C.’s electoral votes would be capped at the number granted to the state with the lowest population (currently three), regardless of D.C.’s own future population. Of course, this problem may be somewhat abstract, since D.C.’s population continues to decline.

Soooo:

  • You have to Articles of the Constitution that says you can’t do this.
  • You have an Amendment of the Constitution that says you can’t do this.
  • You have a Federalist Paper by James Madison (#43) that explains why you can’t so this.

Any questions?

This is why Washington DC becoming a state will take forever or will never happen without a Constitutional Amendment.

So why do Democrats bring up racism? Because they need something that they can use to call the Constitution systemically racist and then bypass the Constitution. This is what they’re going to have to do in order to avoid needing an amendment.

This is Racist

There has been a lot made of violence against Asian American recently. This was exasperated by the mass killings two weeks ago by a mentally deranged man with a sex addiction who killed six Asian American women. Mind you, he also killed two other people weren’t Asian American, but this was dropped because it does not go with the narrative.

So, suddenly, there is racism against Asian Americans. Of course we need to forget some things like:

  • Asian American income is the highest in the country. Even higher than whites.
  • Asian Americans fill our colleges to the point Democrats don’t want them in colleges.
  • Those committing violence against Asian Americans are actually black people, not white people.

Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D. Illinois) said she would not vote for any more of Biden’s picks until he appoints more Asian Americans into his cabinet. She is backed up by Maise Hirono (D. Hawaii). The two state that the Biden administration is not diverse enough and has too many white people.

Ugh. This is getting so old. Maybe too old.

Mind you, Hirono and Duckworth aren’t the rocket scientists of the Senate. I’ll go a step further to make my self clear: They’re stupid.

Things to think about:

  • When you refuse to vote for someone because they are the wrong race, that’s racist.
  • This is the Left’s attempt to create another racial group in order to isolate the white race.
  • It ignores the success of Asian Americans. Remember, Asian Americans were actually considered white until recently. They were actually being accused of buying into the white supremacy of the United States as a reason why the are successful.

Crap like this is all over the place in our society and, like a virus, it is spreading. I know they consider white supremacy to be the new pandemic but I will go on the wagon that says it is the toxic idea of anti-racism that is the real pandemic. And it is spread by our news media, the entertainment industry including sports, education and now the government. It is also infecting institutions that should have nothing to do with this crap like the law and law enforcement, the military and immigration.

Where did this anti-racism thing come from and what is it about?

Anti-racism

I bought the audio version of Ibram X. Kendi’s, How to be an Anti-Racist. I have not listened to the entire book yet but I got the idea.

Anti-racism is the brain child of Ibram X. Kendi, a very rich professor who leads the Center for Antiracist Research at Boston University. This is him defining anti-racism on The View:

That was a rather tame definition of what it is to be an anti-racist. Let me tell you what he says in his book.

  • Every white person is racist. He may not know it but he is.
  • People of color cannot be racist because they have never had power within the hierarchy.
  • It is the systems within the United States that harbor racism all the way back to before the founding of this country.
  • What people must acknowledge their racism and be anti-racist. There are no other options.
  • In order to be an anti-racist, one must see racism, call it out and fight against it including the racist systems of the United States.

That simple.

  • If you are white, you are a racist and always will be.
  • All the systems of the United States are racist.
  • You can only be an anti-racist if you reject and try to strip the United States of its systems and philosophies.

He also does not believe in the individual. He believes that all inequity is because of race. He does not believe in the capacity of the individual or that an individual’s decisions have anything to do with outcome. Sound familiar.

Of course Kendi has a lot of baggage that actually kind of makes him look like a racist.

He believes the reason people of color are being affected by the pandemic is racial. He said, “This is the racial pandemic within the viral pandemic”.

Kendi said, of the George Floyd protests, the riots were “a signature, significant distinct moment of people striving to be antiracist”. He never talks about the circumstances that led to George Floyd being arrested in the first place.

Before the protests, Kendi published a proposal for a Constitutional Amendment in the U.S. to establish and fund the Department of Anti-racism (DOA). This department would be responsible for “preclearing all local, state and federal public policies to ensure they won’t yield racial inequity, monitor those policies, investigate and be empowered with disciplinary tools to wield over and against policymakers and public officials who do not voluntarily change their racist policy and ideas”. In other words, he wants to condemn all people he disagrees with. We can take a guess who he would be going after.

When talking about Amy Coney Barratt having adopted two Haitian children, he said, “Some White colonizers ‘adopted’ Black children. They ‘civilized’ these ‘savage’ children in the ‘superior’ ways of White people, while using them as props in their lifelong pictures of denial, while cutting the biological parents of these children out of the picture of humanity. And whether this is Barrett or not is not the point. It is a belief too many White people have: if they have or adopt a child of color, then they can’t be racist.”

That sounds like a pre-judgement. They didn’t do it because they were caring, empathetic people. They can’t be. They’re whit and racist. They did it to control the black man. You know who agreed with him? Richard Spencer, a neo-Nazi.

Oh, yeah. Ibram X. Kendi is 38 years old. He’s never lived through Jim Crowe and Segregation.

He has degrees from Florida A&M University and Temple University.

He’s worth millions of dollars by selling his books and doing speaking tours.

Does he sound like someone who had no chance to make something of himself? Heck, does this sound like a good guy?

Here’s the thing. Kendi believes that blacks have the high ground because they are morally superior to whites because of slavery and Jim Crowe. In other words, he is condemning white people.

The definition of racism according to the Oxford dictionary:

The belief that different races possess distinct characteristics, abilities, or qualities, especially so as to distinguish them as inferior or superior to one another.

Is Kendi doing this? He sure is and his racist crap is infecting all our institutions.

More on this when I finish his book. I just started it but I can see where it is going. Howard Zinn anyone?

They Don’t Get It

Major League Baseball’s Players Association is “open” to discussing moving the 2021 All-Star Game from Atlanta, Georgia, following the state’s decision to enact a comprehensive anti-vote fraud bill aimed at curbing the abuse of absentee and mail-in voting provisions.

The Georgia bill has been framed as an attack on voting rights, particularly of minorities, but as the Daily Wire’s Ashe Schow reported on Saturday, the bill actively prevents activist organizations from electioneering and restricts voting by mail, following concerns that voting rights activists may have abused provisions in the law. As Fox News reported late last year, groups, including one run by former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams, are under investigation by the Georgia Secretary of State for “seeking to ‘aggressively’ register ‘ineligible, out-of-state, or deceased voters’ before the state’s Jan. 5 Senate runoff elections.”

Black Lives Matter organizations, however, say the bill is aimed at preventing minorities from exercising their right to vote in Georgia just as minority voters have become a force within the state, and they are now pressuring sports organizations, like the MLB and the PGA to move major sporting events from Georgia.

Episode 300 – The Saga Continues

Biden…ugh…

The media is blowing up on a Ted Cruz error while ignoring everything else.

The Gorilla Glue Girl saga continues.

And AOC gives up…something for Lent? Wait, what?

What a Disaster This Guy Is

Joe Biden and CNN held a town hall on Tuesday. As expected, there were hard hitting questions like this one by moderator Anderson Cooper:

Yep, I didn’t bother watching it all. But the summary of it won’t be too surprising. Biden continued to look old and his answers were rambling. Some of the time, I thought he forgot the question in the middle of the answer.

Anderson Cooper did not ask hard hitting questions. They continued to blame the Trump administration for all the world ills. Be prepared for that to continue as Biden begins to mess up COVID, opening the schools and the economy and the inflation rate begins to go up. Cooper never pushed back, never asked the tough questions and avoided bringing up anything controversial like the Andrew Cuomo scandal.

But, we did learn some things. And they were not good. Here is something that can be seen as a gaff but I am not sure about that. Listen and then I’ll explain.

There are two things about this statement.

The first is what he said about getting the injections into the arms of the people. This is a consistent talking point of the Biden administration that the Trump administration did not have a plan for vaccinations. In fact, the Trump administration did have a plan. The plan got to 1 million vaccinations through the country per day. Biden and Harris didn’t seem to know that. They said they were going to get 100 million vaccinations in his first 100 days. That’s 1 million vaccinations a day. They had to walk that one back.

The second problem here is the “gaff” he made about there being no vaccine available when he took office. Now, it could be a gaff but with the revisionist history going on in America, do not be surprised if, a couple of years from now, Biden gets full credit for the vaccine creation. That may be paranoid, but I am going to reserve calling this one a gaff.

Anderson Cooper asked Joe about when the country could get back to normal. He talked a little about herd immunity and the vaccine. It took him almost four minutes to get to the point. Here is his point:

A year?! A year?! This guy ran on the China virus being eliminated and now he’s talking about wearing two to fifteen masks for a year?! That ain’t going to cut it. Our kids are getting fat, depressed and killing themselves. They need school. My relationship with my fiancé is suffering because we have nothing to do. We go on hikes or to the casino because they are on Indian reservations and ignore California regulations. But I don’t gamble!

This is insane. It’s not going to happen. We are not going to keep ourselves locked away for a year. As a matter of fact, there are doctors at John Hopkins that are saying we should  be at herd immunity by April or May, not December. I plan to go to a baseball game this year. I plan to sit in a restaurant to eat dinner this year. I plan to go out without a mask and give a friend a hug and shake hands again.

But that wasn’t the craziest thing Biden said. Listen to this about China:

Before I talk about how insane what Biden said is, listen to a short clip from a recent CNN story about the sexual abuse and torture of Uyghur women in concentration camps in China.

https://www.dailywire.com/news/extremely-sadistic-communist-china-gang-rapes-religious-minorities-in-concentration-camps-former-detainees-allege

This is what is happening in China:

  • Concentration camps.
  • Torture.
  • Executions.
  • Forced sterilizations.
  • The One Child policy.
  • Imprisonment with no due process.
  • Slave labor (your iPhone and Nikes).
  • Confiscation of property.
  • Theft of intellectual property.
  • Starvation.
  • Military occupation of Hong Kong.
  • Threats of invasion of Taiwan and, more recently, India.
  • Propaganda spread through the United Nations and the World Health Organization.
  • Infiltration of the United States government, entertainment, sports and education with spy and propaganda machines. This is not a conspiracy, we know this.

This is China and we’ve known it for many years. There are three things that disturb me about Biden’s statement here.

The first is that he is excusing genocide, which is the killing of people based on race, religion or beliefs. Question for you: What if we just looked at the genocide in Nazi Germany as a “cultural difference” that we had to ignore because that’s what Hitler had to do to be the leader of Nazi Germany?

The second is that it is looking like Biden is going to go easy on China. We shouldn’t be surprised about this considering his families’ financial dealings in China, including money Joe Biden probably got.

Finally, what does it say that our President is so easily willing to dismiss genocide as no big deal? Does old Joe or any of his minions think it might be a good idea to implement here? Don’t be too sure that is not a thing. Let’s see how many people are arrested during the Biden administration because they said something dangerous to the regime. Don’t think it’s a thing in this country? Ask Dinesh Dizouza, Roger Stone and George Papadopoulos if it is a thing.

Really? Now?

Ted Cruz, the Senator from Texas, took a vacation to Cancun with his family. So what? He took it in the middle of the worst winter storm in Texas in over 100 years. People did not have power and 24 people die.

Oh.

This is not a great thing. Maybe he should have waited a few weeks before he decided to do this. It shows him as rather callous, taking a, “not my problem tone”. I see it. That sucked. It looked bad. This is going to be used against him in the next election and it will hurt him.

But here’s the question: Is this hypocrisy? No, better yet, is this the worst example of hypocrisy of an American history in the last four years?

Yeah, no.

So why is the media focusing everything on Ted Cruz? Cause he’s a Conservative Senator, that’s why.

The news has covered this “scandal” at a rate of 6 to 1 when it comes to the real scandal of Andrew Cuomo hiding deaths for his idiotic policies involving sticking COVID patients back into retirement homes. This amazes me. By the way, Cuomo’s lie has gone from 50% to 60% according to the investigation. So his lie seems to be going bigger by the second.

There are some distinct differences between Cuomo and Cruz:

Cruz made a bad optic decision. His policies had nothing to do with the storm or the power going out in Texas. In fact, Cruz is a federal employee (a Senator) not a state employee. He has no say. That doesn’t mean there won’t be consequences but he didn’t have anything to do with it. Cuomo’s policies led directly to 6400 more COVID deaths in his state. Then he hid the numbers.

There is no hypocrisy here. Cruz never said we shouldn’t travel. Unlike Cuomo, Newsom, Lightfoot and Pelosi who want to shut the entire country down than do whatever they want like eat at a posh restaurant with a crowd or get their hair done.

Cruz didn’t gain anything from his travel by lying about his situation except maybe a headache for his next election. Cuomo had a bad policy, killed people, wrote a book about how great his leadership was, designed a poster to show how great his leadership was and won an Emmy.

Not the same thing. It was a bad look and tone deaf. But he didn’t cause any of this and didn’t kill anyone. Cruz apologized and I think that was a mistake. No one will forgive him except Conservatives that like his policies. I personally think it was a mistake and we all make mistakes. But his apology will be used by Leftists to crucify him in the future. Seems to me he should have just taken the heat.

Gorilla Girl Saga Continues

The Gorilla Glue Girl Saga continues. It’s stupid but too deliciously funny to ignore. I bet you my left arm that this gal is going to get her own reality television show before this is all said and done.

Good news! She had her surgery and her hair is fixed. It will grow back and she can’t gussie herself up for a few month. Some had to be removed so she’ll have to wear a hat for a while but it will all come in normally.

Bad news: Her GoFundMe account has been suspended because the company is investigating her for fraud. There are several bloggers who say she is full of shit. She has $28,000 waiting for her once this whole thing is done. If her surgery only cost her $17,000 she, in theory, is going to make a $10,000 profit. Not sure how GoFundMe works with extra money but good for her. If people are stupid enough to donate to her, they should lose their money.

There was a rumor that she was going to sue the company that makes Gorilla Glue for $10 million because the company did not put any warnings on the bottle (actually they do have warnings on the bottle but nothing specifically about hair). She said that was untrue. She’s not suing anybody. It would make sense if she did because that’s the world we live in and we, as a society, seem to embrace stupidity.

The company that makes Gorilla Glue can afford it if she does sue. Apparently their sales have gone through the roof since this gal’s video went viral.

Finally, the Washington Post informed us why she put Gorilla Glue in her hair. It wasn’t because she’s an idiot. It’s because of that old bug-a-boo, systemic racism. Here’s what they said:

Neal Lester said he initially thought Brown’s problem was a prank, but as he continued to follow the story, he said it reminded him of all the ways Black Americans have used unusual hair products to manipulate or style their hair.

“I thought of Malcolm X and his experience with the conk,” said the Foundation Professor of English and founding director of Project Humanities at Arizona State University, referring to the hair straightener made of lye, eggs and potatoes used by many Black people in the earlier and middle part of the 20th century. “That stringing started with enslaved people using axle wheel grease and dirty dishwasher with oil.”

Enslaved men used axle wheel grease as a means to dye their hair or temporarily straighten it, and the women would use butter, fat from bacon or grease from geese to care for their hair, according to “Hair Story: Untangling the Roots of Black Hair in America.”

“Sometimes a piece of cloth warmed over a flame would be pulled across the head and worn for a short while to stretch the curls out,” authors Ayana Byrd and Lori Tharps wrote.

Conversations about hair, especially Black hair, continue to evolve, Lester said, pointing to how Olympian Gabby Douglas was talked about when her edges weren’t slick enough for some or the criticism lodged at superstar Beyoncé for allowing her oldest daughter’s curls and kinks to do their own thing.

The story stopped with the racism thing. Gorilla Glue Girl talked about her surgery and how she was dealing with it. She talked about how things would go back to normal and how she would not stop. She said she wasn’t going to sue anyone. Bitched about not getting her money from GoFundMe. Really mundane shit you would expect to hear from a simpleton. I thought the commentary was over.

But the Washington Post decided to keep beating that dead horse. They concluded the article:

Black women’s hair choices are often labeled as self-hate or Afrocentric with no in between, said Kristin Denise Rowe, professor of American studies at California State University at Fullerton.

“Many of us have not been in that particular predicament, but we know what it’s like to do something crazy … to get it to lay a certain way, such as toothbrushes for our baby hair,” she said.

Black women’s hair care has long been discussed like it’s a freak show, with comments about how much they spend on straightening treatments or hair extensions, Rowe said. That’s missing a lot of nuance about how these things come to be cultural practices, Rowe said.

“In reality, what’s crazy is anti-Black notions of beauty and professionalism and notions of what’s appropriate,” she said.

Grooming standards in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy have recently been updated to include the styles many Black women wear to protect their natural hair, and just seven states have passed the Crown Act, a law that seeks to put an end to hair discrimination.

“We know we exist in a society where we’re constantly being told it’s not right now,” Rowe said of the sector of support for Brown.

A couple of things about this article. When I write, I try to avoid doing what this writer did. Of course, I believe in perfectionism so I’m a white supremacist and the writer is more woke than I am. What Lateshia Beachum did was use facts about a really stupid story (facts are what I was looking for here) than try to mix deep intellectual societal commentary. Do I really need to know the reasons a Cal State Fullerton professor thinks why this gal stuck super glue in her hair?

I also question what our university professors are doing all day. They seem to always seem to have some social, historical and political opinions on some of the most mundane crap. I could be a professor or a columnist for the Washington Post. I bet I could come up with a thousand word article on why shoe laces are racist and promote the patriarchy. I swear it, just give me enough time.

We are in a culture of idiots.

‘Gorilla Glue Girl’: Will her lawsuit stick?

But She’s a Marxist? God She’s Dumb!

Finally, dumb story of the day:

Marxist, socialist Alexandria Ocasio Cortez has given up meat for Lent.

Why is this dumb?

Alexandria Ocasio Cortez is so stupid she doesn’t realize Marxist socialists don’t believe in God and, therefore, don’t celebrate Lent. Pretty sad that a Democratic Republican Capitalist knows more about Marxism that a Marxist. I guess she was too busy making Pina Coladas in her last job to read the Communist Manifesto.

Episode 299 – 2+2=RACIST!

WTF?!

From the Daily Wire by Ashe Schow

The Oregon Department of Education is promoting a program for teachers that seeks to “disman[tle] racism in mathematics,” alleging that focusing on finding the right answer is a symbol of white supremacy.

OK, math isn’t racist. Learn the history of zero and you will learn that. Learn the history of the calendar and you will learn that.

Fox News reported that the ODE sent out a newsletter last week that mentions a “Pathway to Math Equity Micro-Course” that will occur on February 21. The course, according to Fox, is designed for middle school teachers to make use of a toolkit for ‘dismantling racism in mathematics.’”

Math is not racist. Math doesn’t care.

The newsletter encourages teachers to sign up for the training, which the New York Post previously reported includes a section with 14 things associated with “White Supremacy Culture,” including perfectionism, objectivity, and individualism.

We are going to go through those 14 things that are associated with white supremacy culture. Hold your seatbelts on that one.

Objectivity is described in the workbook accompanying the training as “the belief that there is such a thing as being objective or ‘neutral.’” The program’s toolkit also encourages teachers not to focus on a single correct answer, but to “come up with at least two answers that might solve this problem” and to “Challenge standardized test questions by getting the ‘right’ answer, but justify other answers by unpacking the assumptions that are made in the problem.”

The toolkit also asks instructors to “center ethnomathematics” in multiple ways, one of which is to “identify and challenge the ways that math is used to uphold capitalist, imperialist, and racist views.”

Math is not capitalist, imperialist or racist.

ODE Communications Director Marc Siegel confirmed to Fox News that the educational program was being advertised and defended it, claiming the training “helps educators learn key tools for engagement, develop strategies to improve equitable outcomes for Black, Latinx, and multilingual students, and join communities of practice.”

Math doesn’t care if you’re black, Hispanic or don’t speak English. Math is its own language.

This is simply the latest in a string of “anti-racism” teachings that insist the core of education is based on white supremacy. As The Daily Wire has documented, San Francisco has been intently focused on race in recent weeks instead of the growing number of student suicides and mental health crises caused by the continuous closure of schools.

While students suffer, the school district seems more concerned with tackling race perceptions, focusing on renaming schools based on historically inaccurate information and debating the racial makeup of an all-female volunteer council. As The Daily Wire reported, the San Francisco school board spent two hours debating whether the gay father of a mixed-race child was diverse enough to sit on a parent advisory council that was currently made up of only women and had additional open seats. The school board has also spent time renaming numerous public schools based on a historically inaccurate Google Doc and claiming acronyms are a “symptom of white supremacy culture” while replacing one acronym with another.

If you think that renaming schools because of racism doesn’t have anything to do with math now being referred to as racist, keep your panties on. Math, history, philosophy, science and literature all are tied together by the Left. We will get to it.

White Supremacy Culture…Huh?

I went and decided to read this signs of a white supremacy culture because I wanted to see what the Left was actually thinking when they say that math is a sign of white supremacy and I understand why now. Here’s the thing: I strive for all these every day.

We’re going to go over this list in a separate podcast because this is what are kids are learning and we will be learning at work. It also explains why everything to the Left is white supremacy. Finally, HR departments around the country are going to demand people interact with each other in certain ways and will fire you if you don’t.

So here are the ones that math, which, by the way, is a concept, not a living thing, is a construct of white supremacy.

Perfectionism

Essentially curses a meritocracies. It sees those who strive for perfection as receiving more appreciation and responsibility than those who don’t. The solution to this is to appreciate all equally and don’t make mistakes personal. In other words, treat those that are f-ing up like you treat those that do a great job.

Well, I’m a white supremacist. I strive to be perfect in everything I do. I am not perfect and I never reach that perfection but I do try. Because I try to achieve perfection in everything I do, I learn from my mistakes and make sure I never make them again. I take mistakes personally because I don’t want to make them again. There’s nothing wrong with that.

I also think if I do a great job versus someone who is screwing around, I should get more credit and more responsibility. Why? Because I deserve it. I don’t give a damn if the guy screwing around gets butt-hurt because he wants to be appreciated.

This is part of the everyone-gets-a-trophy culture our kids are living in. One doesn’t need to earn a trophy through performance. You’ll just get one for being there.

With math, you’re either right or wrong. It is an objective standard to whether one learned something. You’re either right or wrong. There is no second place trophy in math.

Only One Right Way

Duh. If there can only be one right answer, there can only be one right way to do it. This is what the Oregon school district is trying to change. They are trying to make it that math can have alternate ways of being done. Common core, implemented by the Obama administration, actually teaches how to do multiplication in a way that doesn’t make much sense and is longer and harder to do than just learning the multiplication table and writing out the solutions.

Either/Or Thinking

In math, you either have a right answer or a wrong answer. This is considered white supremacy. We can’t have that. In ethnomath, there can be two right answers.

Individualism

Let’s be clear about something: the purpose of calling everything white supremacy is to say our country is systemically racist. Once everyone believes that the system is racist, we can then change the entire system. The system the left wants to implement is socialism. Socialism does not acknowledge individualism.

Math is a measure of a person’s capacity. Some are good at math, some aren’t. In the army, you are tested in math and logic to determine what job you’ll qualify for. They can’t have that.

Progress is Bigger/More

Math is nothing but progression. First you learn to add, then subtract, then multiply, then divide, then fractions and decimals and so one. The further one progresses, the more confidence he gets. The more confidence, the more establishment of individuality. It works the same when dealing with reading, science and history.

Objectivity

Math is nothing but objective. Feelings and biases have nothing to do with the answers or the process to arrive at the answer.

Need to Push Against This

Episode 288 – The 1619 Project

One thing I hate about our society, specifically on the Left, is how we are changing everything.

We have changed language. We have normalized in correct language like using “at” at the end of the sentence. We have changed definitions like how we did with the term “gender.” We have even changed the way we use pronouns referring to an individual as “they.”

We are trying to change science because of political correctness. A man wanting to be a woman means that he is a woman, no matter what his DNA says. Gender dysphoria is no longer a mental disorder. We are assigned gender, not born with it. And the world is going to end in 10 years because of weather.

But the worse thing we are doing is changing the history of the United States without adding context to the history of the world. The revision of our history is enunciating our dark moments without acknowledging our successes. The goal of this is to emphasize the failure of the United States and all its systems.

Enter the 1619 Project.

What is the 1619 Project?

There is a huge push to revise history within the United States. This revisionist push is not something that just happened in the last ten years. It has been around for almost a century. People like Howard Zinn have written histories that make the United States look like an imperialistic tyranny instead of a country that celebrates freedoms that have been given to us by God, not government.

In Howard Zinn’s People’s History of the United States, a book that was touted by Matt Damon who played a genius in Good Will Hunting, blamed all evils in history on the United States. Slavery, the Native American crisis, the Civil War, World Wars I and II, Vietnam, the wars in the Middle East, even terrorism was all because of the imperialism of the United States. Many of Zinn’s findings were actually debunked by real historians. In fact, there is an entire book written that destroys all of Zinn’s arguments. But this doesn’t matter to the Leftists. The book is being touted as a legitimate history of the United States and has found its way into out high schools and colleges as mandatory reading.

In 2019, another document that tries to revise American history was released: The 1619 Project. According to Wikipedia.com:

The 1619 Project is a long-form journalism project developed by Nikole Hannah-Jones, writers from The New York Times, and The New York Times Magazine which “aims to reframe the country’s history by placing the consequences of slavery and the contributions of black Americans at the very center of the United States‘ national narrative”.[1] The project was first published in August 2019 for the 400th anniversary of the arrival of the first enslaved Africans in the Virginia colony.[2] The project later included a broadsheet article, live events, and a podcast.

It is not a year that most Americans know as a notable date in our country’s history. Those who do are at most a tiny fraction of those who can tell you that 1776 is the year of our nation’s birth. What if, however, we were to tell you that this fact, which is taught in our schools and unanimously celebrated every Fourth of July, is wrong, and that the country’s true birth date, the moment that its defining contradictions first came into the world, was in late August of 1619? Though the exact date has been lost to history (it has come to be observed on Aug. 20), that was when a ship arrived at Point Comfort in the British colony of Virginia, bearing a cargo of 20 to 30 enslaved Africans. Their arrival inaugurated a barbaric system of chattel slavery that would last for the next 250 years. This is sometimes referred to as the country’s original sin, but it is more than that: It is the country’s very origin.

Out of slavery — and the anti-black racism it required — grew nearly everything that has truly made America exceptional: its economic might, its industrial power, its electoral system, diet and popular music, the inequities of its public health and education, its astonishing penchant for violence, its income inequality, the example it sets for the world as a land of freedom and equality, its slang, its legal system and the endemic racial fears and hatreds that continue to plague it to this day. The seeds of all that were planted long before our official birth date, in 1776, when the men known as our founders formally declared independence from Britain.

The goal of The 1619 Project, a major initiative from The New York Times that this issue of the magazine inaugurates, is to reframe American history by considering what it would mean to regard 1619 as our nation’s birth year.  Doing so requires us to place the consequences of slavery and the contributions of black Americans at the very center of the story we tell ourselves about who we are as a country. Perhaps you need some persuading. The issue contains essays on different aspects of contemporary American life, from mass incarceration to rush-hour traffic, that have their roots in slavery and its aftermath.

Each essay takes up a modern phenomenon, familiar to all, and reveals its history. The first, by the staff writer Nikole Hannah- Jones (from whose mind this project sprang), provides the intellectual framework for the project and can be read as an introduction. Alongside the essays, you will find 17 literary works that bring to life key moments in African-American history. These works are all original compositions by contemporary black writers who were asked to choose events on a timeline of the past 400 years. The poetry and fiction they created is arranged chronologically throughout the issue, and each work is introduced by the history to which the author is responding. A word of warning: There is gruesome material in these pages, material that readers will find disturbing. That is, unfortunately, as it must be. American history cannot be told truthfully without a clear vision of how inhuman and immoral the treatment of black Americans has been. By acknowledging this shameful history, by trying hard to understand its powerful influence on the present, perhaps we can prepare ourselves for a more just future. That is the hope of this project.

The Goals of the Project

This is a complete rewrite of American history. Its goal is to:

************

  • Become the new education tool of American history.
  • Change the way our children think about America. They will be our leaders one day. The goal is to change the culture so the future generations will change it politically. Politics is always down stream of culture.
  • Blame America for slavery. Slavery has been around forever and still exists.
  • Make it only that blacks made America what it is today and ignore what we did as a nation.
  • America is evil and must be changed. That includes eliminating our philosophy, accomplishments and successes.
  • Ignore our real history and the struggles we went through to become the successful country we are.
  • Makes racism systemic. It’s not.
  • It ignores the struggles this country went through, black and white, to get where we are today.
  • It ignores how far we’ve come.
  • Demonize an entire race; the white race. This is a document on black supremacy. This is dangerous. When you demonize a skin color, you end up with slavery, gulags and holocausts. Isn’t this what they are fighting against?
  • Ignore that whites are diverse. We are English, Irish, Scottish, Italian, Russian, German and many others.
  • Ignore the sins of other civilizations including African and Muslim civilizations.

This is some really dangerous stuff. This is changing U.S. history in order to demonize a country, its citizens and the system:

  • Justifies cancel culture. This will kill the economy, kill innovation and kill national pride.
  • Promotes a complete change to the system of the most successful country in world history.
  • Justifies the persecution of those who don’t agree.
  • Creates race superiority.
  • Justifies policies that will hurt the economy of this country, further pushing the need for socialism. Socialism leads to tyranny.

Oops! It Ain’t that Accurate

******

According to the Wall Street Journal article by Elliot Kaufman:

‘So wrong in so many ways” is how Gordon Wood, the Pulitzer Prize-winning historian of the American Revolution, characterized the New York Times’s “1619 Project.” James McPherson, dean of Civil War historians and another Pulitzer winner, said the Times presented an “unbalanced, one-sided account” that “left most of the history out.” Even more surprising than the criticism from these generally liberal historians was where the interviews appeared: on the World Socialist Web Site, run by the Trotskyist Socialist Equality Party.

A September essay for the World Socialist Web Site called the project a “racialist falsification” of history. That didn’t get much attention, but in November the interviews with the historians went viral. “I wish my books would have this kind of reaction,” Mr. Wood says in an email. “It still strikes me as amazing why the NY Times would put its authority behind a project that has such weak scholarly support.” He adds that fellow historians have privately expressed their agreement. Mr. McPherson coolly describes the project’s “implicit position that there have never been any good white people, thereby ignoring white radicals and even liberals who have supported racial equality.”

The project’s creator, Nikole Hannah-Jones, is proud that it “decenters whiteness” and disdains its critics as “old, white male historians.” She tweeted of Mr. McPherson: “Who considers him preeminent? I don’t.” Her own qualifications are an undergraduate degree in history and African-American studies and a master’s in journalism. She says the project goes beyond Mr. McPherson’s expertise, the Civil War. “For the most part,” she writes in its lead essay, “black Americans fought back alone” against racism. No wonder she’d rather not talk about the Civil War.

When called out by the socialist organization, Nicole Hannah-Jones doubled-down using race as her justification:

To the Trotskyists, Ms. Hannah-Jones writes: “You all have truly revealed yourselves for the anti-black folks you really are.” She calls them “white men claiming to be socialists.” Perhaps they’re guilty of being white men, but they’re definitely socialists. Their faction, called the Workers League until 1995, was “one of the most strident and rigid Marxist groups in America” during the Cold War, says Harvey Klehr, a leading historian of American communism.

“Ours is not a patriotic, flag-waving kind of perspective,” says Thomas Mackaman, the World Socialist Web Site’s interviewer and a history professor at King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. He simply recognizes that the arrival of 20 slaves in 1619 wasn’t a “world-altering event.” Slavery had existed across the world for millennia, and there were already slaves elsewhere in what would become the U.S. before 1619.

But “even if you want to make slavery the central story of American history,” he says, the Times gets it backward. The American Revolution didn’t found a “slavocracy,” as Ms. Hannah-Jones puts it. Instead, in Mr. Mackaman’s telling, it “brought slavery in for questioning in a way that had never been done before” by “raising universal human equality as a fundamental principle.” Nor was protecting slavery “one of the primary reasons” the colonists declared independence, as Ms. Hannah-Jones claims. It’s no coincidence the abolitionists rapidly won votes to end slavery in five of the original 13 states, along with Vermont and the new states of the Midwest.

Ms. Hannah-Jones insists “anti-black racism runs in the very DNA of this country.” Mr. Mackaman calls that claim “anti-historical.” Proving it requires her to belittle the most progressive declaration of modern history: “that all men are created equal.” Ms. Hannah-Jones calls this a “lie” and claims its drafters didn’t even believe it. The abolitionists disagreed. So did Martin Luther King Jr: He saw it as a “promissory note.”

Other things that the 1619 Project gets wrong:

  • Sociologist Matthew Desmond marshals substantially discredited research to tar the whole of American capitalism as a legacy of slavery.
  • Legal activist Bryan Stevenson presents the war on drugs and broken-windows policing as successors to lynching, the Black Codes and other white “strategies of racial control.”
  • Joseph Kishore, the Socialist Equality Party’s national secretary, says the “1619 Project” is aimed at legitimizing the politics of the Democratic Party and at “dividing workers” by race.

Other issues about the 1619 Project come from The Atlantic, far from a right-wing publication. They did try to ease the conflict but pointed out that the conflict was started by real historians who had issue with the layman’s history created by the doocument:

Several weeks ago, the Princeton historian Sean Wilentz, who had criticized the 1619 Project’s “cynicism”in a lecture in November, began quietly circulating a letter objecting to the project, and some of Hannah-Jones’s work in particular. The letter acquired four signatories—James McPherson, Gordon Wood, Victoria Bynum, and James Oakes, all leading scholars in their field. They sent their letter to three top Times editors and the publisher, A. G. Sulzberger, on December 4. A version of that letter was published on Friday, along with a detailed rebuttal from Jake Silverstein, the editor of the Times Magazine.

  • The letter sent to the Timessays, “We applaud all efforts to address the foundational centrality of slavery and racism to our history,” but then veers into harsh criticism of the 1619 Project. The letter refers to “matters of verifiable fact” that “cannot be described as interpretation or ‘framing’” and says the project reflected “a displacement of historical understanding by ideology.” Wilentz and his fellow signatories didn’t just dispute the Times Magazine’s interpretation of past events, but demanded corrections.

The letter is rooted in a vision of American history as a slow, uncertain march toward a more perfect union. The 1619 Project, and Hannah-Jones’s introductory essay in particular, offer a darker vision of the nation, in which Americans have made less progress than they think, and in which black people continue to struggle indefinitely for rights they may never fully realize. Inherent in that vision is a kind of pessimism, not about black struggle but about the sincerity and viability of white anti-racism. It is a harsh verdict, and one of the reasons the 1619 Project has provoked pointed criticism alongside praise.

Americans need to believe that, as Martin Luther King Jr. said, the arc of history bends toward justice. And they are rarely kind to those who question whether it does.

What Does This Document Ignore?

This document ignores a lot of things.

  • From a history standpoint, the Africans brought over in 1619 weren’t slaves, they were indentured servants. That sucked too. But, after a time, they were freed and given land. Some of those same blacks brought over in 1619, owned land as freeman and owned slaves. Chattel slavery did not really start until later in the century.
  • It ignores that the English Puritans and Spanish colonists did not support any type of slavery. Christopher Columbus got into trouble with Queen Isabella for sending 500 Haitian slaves back to Spain. He was arrested and the slaves were immediately freed and sent home.
  • The Founding Fathers did debate ending slavery with the new Constitution. George Washington actually freed his slaves. Slavery is mentioned in the Federalist Papers. But, because the south depended on slavery and the Union needed to remain unified, the Founding Fathers decided to deal with slavery later.
  • The abolition movement in the United States started right after the Revolutionary War and picked up steam in the early 1800s, well before the Civil War.
  • It ignores the individual and puts individuals into groups based on race. This is evil. This racist. This was done during slavery and Jim Crow. It was also done in Nazi Germany, done in Cuba by the Leftist-revered Che Guevara and is currently being done in China with the Uyghers.
  • Likewise, it groups whites as a single race and all with the same privilege. This is racist. It doesn’t acknowledge that whites also were in their own little castes within the United States. Germans, Irish and Italians are all white ethnicities but were seen as lower class compared to the northern European races. They were treated pretty badly. Jews, also white, were treated with disdain. But none of that matters, they’re all white.
  • It ignores individual’s capacity. If a black man can only get a job as a ditch digger, it is because of racial inequity. If a white man is a ditch digger, it is ignored. There is never an acknowledgement that each have their own abilities.
  • If there is systemic racism in the United States, where is it? What evidence is there? We were systemically racist before the Civil Rights Act but where is it now?
  • It ignores that times have changed and that history is flat within the United States. According to the 1619 Project, blacks have it just as bad today than they did during slavery and Jim Crow which is just ridiculous.
  • It states that all technology and feats achieved by the United States have been abled by slavery, giving blacks credit in areas that just are not true. The light bulb, electricity, space flight, the Internet, computing, cars, television, astrophysics, the plane and jets and other forms of technology are all because of slavery. None of this stuff has anything to do with slavery.
  • The document has no problem stating what America has done wrong but ignores what America has done right throughout history to fix their sins. The Civil War, Women’s Suffrage, reparations for the Japanese interned during World War II and the Civil Rights Act. These never happened and, if acknowledged as significant times in American history, would make America a country that acknowledges its sins.
  • It also brings up the rich black culture and how it affected American culture. Now this is true. Blacks have a great culture that I embrace including dance, blues and jazz music and literature. But American culture seems to be forgotten. Whites had some culture also. Mark Twain, Edgar Allen Poe, John Wayne and Elvis might have a say about that.
  • It ignores the success that blacks have had in this country. Ophra Winfrey is worth billions of dollars. Would she have done that in another country? LeBron James, who is no genius and continually bitches about equity, is worth a billion dollars. Everyone who added to the 1619 Project has a degree is black and from Harvard or Princeton. Does it sound like these people are being oppressed? Stop it.
  • Didn’t mankind have slavery throughout its history? Weren’t the pyramids of Egypt built from slave labor? Weren’t the pyramids of Mexico and South America built on slave labor? Doesn’t China still have slave labor? Not sure? Where the hell do you think your f-ing iPhone came from?
  • Finally, why is there an equity problem in the black community? Why are blacks not earning as much as whites (or Asians)? Why are blacks jailed in disproportionate numbers than any other races including Hispanics? Because of systemic white racism? Then why aren’t there more Asians and Hispanics in jails? Why are white men still the majority in jails and prisons? And what are the examples of unjust imprisonment? None of this is answered. It’s just stated and that’s it.

What is the Goal of this Document?

Not sure who said it but some said, outside of 2+2=4, that math can be manipulated to show whatever you want to show. Physics, with the math in the right places, can prove that an elephant can hang off a cliff with its tail tied around a daisy. Well, so it is with history.

This is pure revisionist history. The document admits it. It is revising history to teach the truth. Problem with revisionist history is it adds what “historians” want you to know and leaves out what they want you to forget. The problems with the 1619 Project: It adds stuff that, flat out, isn’t true and leaves out most of true American history. I think it is a good idea to go through all of the history of the New World and the United States. I think U.S. history starts well before the discovery of the New World by Christopher Columbus.

This document is to change our culture. It is to teach our children the fallacy that the United States is evil, always has been and always will be. The United States is systemically racist. The Left wants that philosophy bled into the institutions: the news media, entertainment and, especially, the education system. Once in the culture, it is a short trip to politics.

Once in politics the system can be changed.

What Do We Do?

The Left wants to “counter” systemic racism by, you got it, implementing systemic racism. But the racism will go in a different direction. Let’s listen to Joe Biden, who, in this statement, is promoting systemic racism:

That is promoting systemic racism. Help everyone except white people. Maybe the government will help white women.

When the government will benefit one race over another, that is systemic racism.

When the government supports the change of history to demonize a race, that is systemic racism.

When the government condemns and prosecutes white rioters at the capital building but ignores the $3 billion in damage by BLM and Antifa because of “racial justice,” that is systemic racism.

So what do we do who are concerned with this very disturbing turn of events:

  • Read the Bible and go to church. Many of our philosophies are based on the Judeo-Christian philosophy. Our rights came from God, not government. You might as well know what God said. Include your children. They will need a moral base because they are not going to get it from public school.
  • Read the Declaration of Independence. This document defines who we are as a nation. It is never changing. We are to be in 2021 that we were defined to be in 1776. Make sure your children know about it. Teach them. They won’t get it in public school.
  • Read the Constitution, the Bill of Rights and all the Amendments. This document is the law of the land and gives us the exact process to lead us to be what is defined in the Declaration of Independence. Know that was not defined in the Constitution is a state’s right. Abortion: Not a Constitutional right. Make sure your children know about it. Teach them. They won’t get it in public school.
  • Devour history books. Read history from all sides. I have read Howard Zinn’s The People’s History of the United States. It was crappy and filled with lies, but that’s what your children are learning in school. I like Larry Schweikart and Michael Allen’s A Patriot’s History of the United States because it is a far more detailed history of America, both positive and negative, and will counter the Leftist narrative on history. Talk to your children about American history. Learn what they are learning and teach them how to be critical of what they learn. They won’t get any counter arguments in public school.
  • Home schooling is not a thing for everyone. It’s just not possible. But talk to your children. Teach them. Teach them morality, religion, history, math and English. They ain’t learning it is public school. Make them read Mark Twain, John Steinbeck and JD Salinger. Their books are banned in public school.

We need to take over the culture. The only way we do it is teach our children.

Episode 185 – Race and Sex and Class…Oh, My!

Race, Sex, Creed and Class.
INTERSECTIONALITY:
Very, very BAD!

Taylor Swift is on a crusade against the United States government  Injustice has not struck the heart of the United States census and SJW General Swift needs to swoop in and save the world.

The United States government had the audacity to ask if the head of household is a male of female. That’s right! No, transgender, cisgender, non-binary, beastiosexual or any other of the 1800 different genders have been defined. Just male and female.

“I got my census the other day and there were two choices: male and female. And that erasure was so upsetting to me,” the “Lover” singer added.

Swift described the two-gender option as “a really brutal way of dismissing” transgender and nonbinary citizens. “We need to make sure we elect people who care about all communities.” -DailyWire

For years, Taylor Swift has stayed completely out of politics and got crap for it. I thought it was actually quite refreshing. But she received a lot of pressure from Leftist groups about her opinions. She finely caved and I no longer listen to Taylor Swift. I know she doesn’t care. I’m not exactly in her demographic. She came out as the typical dumb Millennial; as Leftist as the day is long. Her specialty seems to be LGBTQ issues but hating Trump is good enough.

This is really. dumb. The government doesn’t care about what people you are attracted too. They only care if you are male or female. If you are a male who has decided to be female, fine. Check the female box. They do not care. I am pretty sure the government does not have the other genders listed because the form would end up being 400 pages longer (it’s long enough as it is) and they do not have enough computing power to calculate the demographics of the 1800 different genders.

Not to mention, no one really cares. I do not fill out the census because I am sure there are three illegal aliens out there that are filling it out for me. That is another thing I find funny: It’s an affront not to add all the different genders but a bad thing to ask one’s immigration status (something that is actually important).

Typical. The Left always has to point out someone is a victim of something. Even check boxes can be bigoted.

But this is a perfect story to lead us into today’s topics: Identity Politics and Intersectionality.

Identity Politics and Intersectionality

Introduction

I was going to deal with race in this section today because it is such a hot button topic. Black Lives Matter has been heading the protests since the death of George Floyd and you cannot listen to CNN for more than 15 minutes without hearing the words “race”, “racism”, and “white supremacist”. But, then I thought about it and realized race was not really the problem. It is Identity Politics and Intersectionality that are the problems.

Black Lives Matter (a terrorist group as far as I am concerned) whole philosophy is based on Intersectionality. In their manifesto on their website, they say:

“We make our spaces family-friendly and enable parents to fully participate with their children. We dismantle the patriarchal practice that requires mothers to work “double shifts” so that they can mother in private even as they participate in public justice work…

“We foster a queer‐affirming network. When we gather, we do so with the intention of freeing ourselves from the tight grip of heteronormative thinking, or rather, the belief that all in the world are heterosexual (unless s/he or they disclose otherwise).

We cultivate an intergenerational and communal network free from ageism. We believe that all people, regardless of age, show up with the capacity to lead and learn.

We embody and practice justice, liberation, and peace in our engagements with one another.” -BlackLivesMatter.com

So, they bond with women, gays, transgenders and the old against the patriarchy which is defined as white straight male led slavery. They are not all about black people. They are about all “oppressed” groups. If one can get through all of the communist crap they are peddling (terms like “collective” and “comrades” are sprinkled throughout the short essay), one can see that BLM is more than just about black lives.

This is the perfect cut over into what is really wrong with this philosophy.

Identity Politics

This is a philosophy that came out in the 1960’s during the Civil Rights Movement and the second wave of feminism. Though the term was not coined until much later, there were studies by professors in the late seventies and early eighties that “proved” that one’s identity (age, race, gender and creed) put one in a category of victimhood.

Identity Politics is defined as:

“The laden phrase “identity politics” has come to signify a wide range of political activity and theorizing founded in the shared experiences of injustice of members of certain social groups. Rather than organizing solely around belief systems, programmatic manifestos, or party affiliation, identity political formations typically aim to secure the political freedom of a specific constituency marginalized within its larger context. Members of that constituency assert or reclaim ways of understanding their distinctiveness that challenge dominant oppressive characterizations, with the goal of greater self-determination.”  -(https://plato.stanford.edu, link below)

So, essentially, if you belong to a group (black, women, gay) you are a victim. When you accept that you are a victim, this will give one greater agency to discover their victimhood and go beyond it.

I know what you are thinking. Just wait for it. There is more to it then we will discuss how dumb this whole thing is.

Intersectionality

Identity Politics, unfortunately, does not go far enough. What if you belong to two victim groups? What if you are a black woman?

That’s where Intersectionality comes into play. The term was first used in 1989 by Kimberlé Crenshaw, a civil rights activist and legal scholar. In a paper for the University of Chicago Legal Forum, Crenshaw wrote that traditional feminist ideas and antiracist policies exclude black women because they face overlapping discrimination unique to them. “Because the intersectional experience is greater than the sum of racism and sexism, any analysis that does not take intersectionality into account cannot sufficiently address the particular manner in which Black women are subordinated,” she wrote in the paper. (Emphasis added.) (cjr.org).

It was added to the Oxford English Dictionary in 2015 and defined as:

“The interconnected nature of social categorizations such as race, class, and gender, regarded as creating overlapping and interdependent systems of discrimination or disadvantage; a theoretical approach based on such a premise.”

The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defined it as:

“The complex, cumulative way in which the effects of multiple forms of discrimination (such as racism, sexism, and classism) combine, overlap, or intersect especially in the experiences of marginalized individuals or groups.”

The victim groups you belong to will intersect to define the victim you are and the value to society you have. And what you are owed. The less intersections (or none) the less valuable.

The Intersectionality score determines an individual’s value when it comes to: philosophy, what they deserve, temperance that they have from society and economic value.

So there you have it! Let’s review:

  • You are a white woman? You use Identity Politics to emphasize your victimhood as a woman because women couldn’t vote 100 years ago. Society owes you.
  • You are a black woman? You use Intersectionality to state you are more of a victim because you are a woman (women couldn’t vote a 100 years ago) and are black (blacks were slaves and dealt with Jim Crow laws). Society owes you more.
  • You are a Native American trans female lesbian who is Muslim? Jackpot!
  • You are a straight, white, Christian male? Screwed!

The Big Problems with this Philosophy

I reject this philosophy. Not just because I am a straight white male Christian, one who has no victimhood and should be dismissed, but because it is stupid. And its value system, is accepted, forces our civilization to be more stupid. But, what I will talk about later, it is dangerous. Here are five reasons this philosophy fails.

First, it excludes people, even those it champions to protect.

Straight white mail Christians are screwed. As far as intersectionality is concerned, we are the root of patriarchy and all that is evil in our civilization. Fine, whatever. The problem is that there have been some pretty smart white men in our civilization. Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, St. Thomas Aquinas, Galileo, DaVinci, Shakespeare, Poe, Jefferson, Washington, Locke, Twain, Franklin, Einstein, Steinbeck. Gates, Jobs, Bezos, Musk and Trump, just to name a very few.

Ok, Trump was a joke but you get where I am going.

There are also very fine white men whose philosophy and reason I would trust far more than some of the victims that Intersectionality deems for its sainthood. Names like Shapiro, Weinstein, Klavan, Harris, Crowder, Peterson, Levin, Pool, Carolla, Rowe, Bongino, Rogan Hannity, Sowell, Mahr, Rubin, Gutfeld and Crenshaw, just to name a few. OK, Dave Rubin is gay and Greg Gutfeld is kind of gay but I trust the reason of these guys over some self-proclaimed victim. But, because these are straight, white men (or, just white men) they have no say about the moral questions of our country. Ben Shapiro has no right to argue about abortion because he is a rich white male. He had something to say about that we he was confronted with that:

Nuff said.

The above debate is another big problem with Intersectionality: It discourages reasonable debate if one of the parties does not belong to a victim group or his victimhood does not match the one he is debating. It is the worst aspect of this cultist philosophy. Anyone who doesn’t agree and is not a member of a victim group is just wrong because he doesn’t understand. Evil, science and reason be damned. When a philosophy refuses to acknowledge these and will reject truth, this is not a philosophy, it is a cult. We know where all cults lead.

Another huge problem with Intersectionality and Identity Politics is that it ignores history, law, capitalism and other social factors for those groups.

We have talked about history in our last podcast. The Left has created a historical vacuum when it comes to the United States. We never escaped slavery even though we fought a Civil War that almost killed 700,000 people. We never ended racism even though we have the 15th and 16th Amendments and have passed the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (voted on by white men). Women were not able to vote a hundred years ago even though we went through women’s suffrage, passed sexism laws and equal rights laws in the workplace. We are still a bigoted nation against the LGBTQ movement even though we have gay marriage.

The above mentioned some of the laws that were passed that ended discrimination. But here are a couple of laws that no one talks about when they say how systemically racist, sexist and bigoted we are. Murder and lynching are illegal. If done because of an attack on a protected victim group, the hate crime statute is enacted, adding 20 extra years in prison (I hate this). Workplace harassment and discrimination is illegal and can start civil proceedings. So if women actually earned 70 cents per dollar of a male counterpart, she can sue. That goes with any minority. There have been tens-of-thousands of cases through the court system and trillions of dollars of awards. Don’t believe me, learn a newspaper. Stories are brought up daily.

But the Left does not care about history. They want it gone. For them, our history is an inconvenience. It interferes with the narrative. That is why they are trying to destroy any statue, whether it be George Washington or Jesus Christ, to eliminate any reminents of our history.

Let’s face it: If there is anything good about the United States, why tear down the system? Why not build on it? The Left does not want that. They want the system gone.

Capitalism has been demonized by the Left. But capitalism is what has been assuring equality in the workplace. The “women earn 70% of men in the workplace” is complete crap. Here’s the skinny: Capitalism only cares about results. The bottom line. I know the Left thinks this is a bad thing, but it’s not. Capitalism only cares about the bottom line. And if capitalism could save 30% on the bottom line by hiring women or blacks, it would. Capitalism is why Jackie Robinson was the first black man that played in Major League Baseball. He was a great player that could make the the Dodgers a World Series winning team. Because if the Dodgers won the World Series, they would make money. That simple.

If a company makes widgets at at the retail cost of production at $5 per unit with manufacturing, but save $.30 per unit to be manufactured by a woman or save $.50 per unit because a black woman or a black man was hired, why not hire the black man or black women?

If I am a capitalist, why pay $1 for someone if I could pay $.70 for someone else?

Because, in capitalism, companies hire based capacity and ability. And they pay based on capacity and ability. One’s race is irrelevant. Capitalism is color-blind. If I suck at my job, I lose my job or get paid less. If I’m great at my job, I get paid more or get promoted. Period

The “big bosses” don’t know if I’m black or white. They just know what I did. If capitalist companies were racist and sexist, they would lose good workers. Because those great workers would quit and find another company. Likewise, people do not get paid less based on their race or sex. If this happened, again people would leave and go to another company. Thomas Sowell, a black economist, proved this statistically more than thirty years ago.

Everyone thinks capitalism supports the rich. It doesn’t. It supports the productive and the innovative. That includes the advantaged. If one creates, they win. Period. Amazon knew it. Apple knew it. Microsoft knew it. Tesla knew it. Capitalism is not the evil the Left likes to make it out to be. Socialism, on the other hand, is evil. Stealing money and giving to others is nothing short of theft. Just because it is legal does not mean it is not theft.

Finally, this philosophy creates an “us versus them” environment. Because I do not belong in a victim group or am in a lower victim class, my views and life is irrelevant. Do you think I am going to sit easy with that? Nope, I am not and I am going to tell you. Not to mention, I am going to have very little respect for your opinion. That lack of respect will turn to anger, anger turns to hate and hate usually leads to violence.

That’s where we are heading.

Why this Philosophy is Dangerous

Here’s the big problem with Intersectionality and Identity Politics: it’s dangerous. Because the victim classes believe that the sins of the United States never went away, the system is still corrupt. That means that the system needs to be changed. As we have seen with the Black Lives Matter philosophy (and Antifa, for that matter) we know what they want to replace it with: Socialism. The destruction of capitalism, opportunity, freedoms, the Constitution, speech, religion; all gone. The government will control all and we will be at the mercy of its whim.

How close our we to this? Very. The Left is very close to controlling the government. If President Trump does not mellow out on the Tweeting thing, he could very well lose this election. His poll numbers are not looking great and Joe Biden’s strategy of hiding is his basement and not screwing up is working (though I think that is going to end soon).

Finally, the most dangerous aspect of this philosophy is cancel culture. In the beginning, cancel culture was actually kind of funny. People would call for the firing of Conservatives like Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson. Of course, by people who have never seen their shows. They cancelled things like Aunt Jamima and scream that chess is racist. That is a thing because the white pieces always go first (ugh!).

But, right before our eyes, cancel culture is morphing. Looting and domestic terrorism is cancelling businesses by destroying them. Companies like the NFL, NBA, Google, Twitter and Microsoft has bent the knee to these groups and rejected anyone who rejects the radical beliefs of Black Lives Matter. Our statues are being torn down. Our flag is being burned.

This is happening now.

But it is getting worse. People are being silenced on social media because of their beliefs. People are being doxxed and fire from their jobs, ruining their careers. People are being attacked because of the color of their hats, saying the wrong thing or just looking different. Normal, law-abiding citizens are being left unprotected because the police departments are being told to stand down and defunded. This has led to the serious injury and deaths of the innocent. Think I am exaggerating? Look up David Dorn, David McAtee, Chris Beaty, Dorean Murrell, Italia Kelly, Marquis Tousant, Patrick Underwood, Calvin Horton Jr., James Scurlock, Javar Harrell, Barry Perkins III, Jorge Gomez, Jose Gutierrez, Victor Cazares Jr. and Marvin Francois. Just to name a few. I did not mention the hundreds that are getting shot in places like Chicago, New York and Los Angeles simply because the police have been told to stand down.

This is happening now. What could happen in the future?

Could I get into trouble with the law because I say the wrong thing? Use the wrong pronoun? Pray to my God? Complain about the government? Not want to give up my gun? Be able to reason why our government is wrong? Seem far fetched? They are already doing that in countries like China, Russia, North Korea and, to a smaller extent, Germany, Canada, Japan and France. Why don’t we think it could not happen here?

Could I be arrested for my race? Being part of the “privileged class”? Because I reason, pray and see injustice? could I be imprisoned in a work camp? Lose my family, career and life because people do not like what I am saying today? It happened in countries like Russia (Soviet Union), China, Venezuela, Cuba, North Korea, and Germany.  Why don’t we think it could not happen here?

Folks, this is the endpoint of cancel culture. It has been done before. It never ended well.

This is something I cannot get behind. This is something I will fight against.

Deflection

Donald Trump has found a new target for his ire. And though I am not a huge fan of the President’s rage Tweeting, this time, I think he hit it right on the head. Let’s talk about the story and then take a look how democrats are destroying our once great cities and states.

The Story

Elijah Cummings, the democratic representative of Maryland who chairs the House Committee on Oversight and Reform, had the Acting Homeland Security Secretary, Kevin McAleenan in front of Congress to discuss the crisis on the border. Well, he didn’t actually want to discuss anything. He just started yell at him. Watch:

I don’t know how any of this can be seen as anything other than abuse. And it is all completely wrong. Kids are not crapping into foil blankets nor are women drinking out of toilets. These are all lies. What’s more, this guy shouldn’t be angry at McAleenan. He didn’t make the laws. He’s in charge of enforcing them. Congress, specifically the House of Representatives is in charge of making laws. That’s where Cummings has been serving for the last 24 years.

I am sick and tired of hearing about these poor people that break our laws being “mistreated.” Well, I know they’re not being mistreated. If they were, people would stop streaming over the border. And I am especially sick and tired of hearing the moralizing from blowhards like this. Nothing but talk, no action.

Well, it took Trump a bit to respond but he eventually did. And he hit a nerve. The media did a spectacular job answering the President. You guessed it. He’s a racist. the media compared Trump’s claim that the city is rat infested by claiming that Trump also thinks (didn’t say, mind you) Congress is infested with “brown people.” I’m not kidding, watch:

Should we really be surprised about this? Of course not. The reason is that President Trump is correct. There is no argument. Baltimore is a crap hole and Cummings is a lousy leader who has been in office for 24 years. Baltimore isn’t all of Cummings fault. He’s a congressman and most of the issues are caused by the local politicians but he has done nothing to help.

Let’s look at Baltimore. It has the second highest murder rate behind St. Louis and only trails Chicago with the total number of murders (there were 1000 murders in Baltimore last year). According to Orkin research, it has the ninth highest rat population in the country. Fifty percent live in extreme poverty and have experienced homelessness. The homeless problem is growing. This place has a lot of problems. Pointing it out does not make Trump anymore racist than him saying grass is green (though they may find a way to make that racist too).

Democratic run cities have always had problems. The top ten big cities with the worst homicide rates are: 1. St. Louis, 2. Baltimore, 3. Detroit, 4. New Orleans, 5. Kansas City, 6. Cleveland, 7. Memphis, 8. Newark, 9. Chicago and 10. Cincinnati. Mind you, this is murder rate per ca pita. Chicago has the largest number of murder at 1300 with Baltimore second with 1000 murders. All ten cities have democratic mayors and governments.

The top ten big cities with the highest homeless population are: 1. New York City, 2. Los Angeles, 3. Seattle, 4. San Diego, 5. San Jose, 6. Washington DC, 7. San Francisco, 8. Phoenix, 9. Boston and 10. Las Vegas. Nine of the ten cities are run by democrats. San Diego is the exception but it is under the control of an extremely leftist state in California.

Rat population, which indicate a large amount of pollution and potential for disease. This are also indicators of quality of life. According to Orkin to top ten rat infested (I’m sorry about my racism) big cities are: 1. Chicago, 2. Los Angeles, 3. New York, 4. Washington DC, 5. San Francisco, 6. Detroit, 7. Philadelphia, 8. Cleveland, 9. Baltimore and 10. Denver. Again, each of the top ten is run by a democratic mayor and senate.

Is this a coincidence? Absolutely not! It is democratic policies the cripple economies and promote crime.

Crime

For years, democrats have manipulated laws to make victims of those that are criminals. Something that was illegal at one time is not illegal anymore. Though this may lower crime rates it does nothing about crime itself and, therefore, lowers the quality of life. In California, weed is legal and this forces drug dealers, many of whom are violent, to look as though they were victimized by the racist system (most incarcerated are people of color). In San Francisco, breaking into a car or shop lifting are addressed with a citation. That’s right, you can get a ticket for breaking into a car.  The judicial system, which is also very blue, are giving light and lighter sentences for some very serious crimes. This is all based on very liberal laws.

Leftist states also have the nasty habit of demonizing the police. They are seen as racist white supremacists for arresting so many people of color. It totally escapes politicians that people of color are committing most of the crimes and that 50% of the police forces in California and New York are people of color. Sure, there are some bad apples but they are few and far between.

Finally, leftist cities and states have a nasty habit of disarming there citizens. The make it very difficult for citizens to own guns to defend themselves. This makes everyone vulnerable to crime. Notice there are no cities in Texas with a high murder rate? That’s because everyone in Texas owns a gun and most actually carry them throughout the day. Only an idiot would try to rob someone in Texas.

The Left and the Economy

Since most leftists are socialists or communists, it is easy to believe that they are not fans of free markets. Leftist states and cities are heavily regulated. That means it is very expensive for small business. The businesses have to get permits, face inspections, high rent, payroll taxes and follow signage laws (you know, like the ones that say, “people smoke here” and crap like that). Each of these cost money that the owner has to pay. Then they raise minimum wage to $15 and hour which causes cost of living to go up and will also create job loss. Employers also have to give benefits that are required by the state. All of this creates a toxic atmosphere for small business. When small business is hurting the economy hurts because most people are employed by small business.

Big business also has a tough time in leftist cities and states. Property taxes, payroll taxes, minimum wage laws and benefits requirements are really scaring big business from opening or staying in leftist states. The final acts, which is forcing corporations to stay out of leftist states or move out of them is the continual attack on big corporations. These politicians seem to forget that big corporations higher thousands of people. Companies like Charles Schwab, Jamba Juice, Lyft, McKesson, Pandora and even the Oakland Raiders football team have left California to avoid paying the exonerate tax rates.

It’s About the Collective, Not the Individual, Stupid!

Tax rates are what is killing the average person too. I’ll just talk from my experience. I pay 26% taxes and that did go down from 28% because of the Trump tax cut. Unlike what everyone tells us, I did see the cuts. Gas prices are between $3.50-$4.00 a gallon. Gas prices went up because it is summer and California has a “special blend” for summer, whatever that means. I am also required to have driver’s insurance which is also overpriced. If I get a parking ticket, my insurance goes up. I have a one bedroom apartment and I spend $1600 a month. I spend $40 a month on electricity and $120 a month on water and trash. Mind you, I live alone.

I’d love to buy a house. But the average house in California is $600,000. That’s about $2400 a month mortgage. Then I’d have to add in homeowner’s insurance, including earthquake insurance, property taxes (about $6000 a year) and pay whatever communist neighborhood group I have to pay so they can tell me I’m not allowed to get that panda bear mailbox I’ve always wanted or need an edict from God to plant a tree.

Oh, and I almost forgot about the taxes. Property tax, income tax, sales tax, gas tax, inheritance tax, tax on cooked foods, tax to get a grocery bags, tobacco tax, cell phone tax, using too much water tax, city tax and capital gains tax. Did I mention gas tax. I know I did but they doubled it last year and that doesn’t include the sales tax on top of it. We are taxed to death in this state. And now, the state wants to add $100 million a year to the budget deficit (which is $2 trillion dollars) and give illegal aliens healthcare. Nice.

Family

I want to thank Dan Bongino for this because I always knew it but forgot about it.

Democrats hate family. Family is the faith that mom and dad know best. Family requires a mom, dad and kids. Typically, at least in my family, that meant we needed a moral base. That moral base was is religion. For us, that religion is Catholicism. Let’s look at that for a second.

Having a mom and dad means they are, together, raising the kids. Have you ever heard of “shotgun weddings?” That’s when some guy got some gal pregnant and he had to take responsibility for the gal and the child. He did that because he believed in God and knew what was right. She did too. And she married him even if she wasn’t sure. Responsibility.

Religion is important. The man knows why he needs to marry his pregnant girlfriend. Because it’s right. Why? Because we are a monogamous animal and it would just be wrong to disappear. The Judaeo-Christian reminds us of this. It doesn’t tell us this. We already know. That same Judaeo-Christian belief system tells us to raise our children in the same way. In other words, take responsibility, That is the same responsibility Christians embrace when contemplating abortion. It’s just wrong. Kids are good. Responsibility.

So, what does the left do? Well, let’s kill the family through toxic masculinity. Let’s kill motherhood through feminism. And let’s kill the value of life through “pro-choice.”

How about we just kill responsibility. It’s easier.

Conclusion

This is such garbage and nothing ever gets fixed. It’s time to say the dog has fleas and not worry about the dog’s feelings. One of the things I wish Trump would do is marry his ideas with the tragedies. In other words, I think his Tweets would have a lot more impact if he told us how to fix Baltimore and, through consequence, all democratic cities. Because, here’s the thing: all democratic cities, which, in turn, means failing cities, have the same problem. That is democratic, of leftist, ideals. Those leftist ideals are socialist ideals and they have never worked. Except to keep the leftists in power.
