Episode 427 – Not A Whistleblower

A Facebook whistleblower testifies in front of Congress.

I think the Department of Justice needs to look up what defines a terrorist.

And World War III might be on the table.

 

The Whistleblower That’s Not

There was a Facebook “whistleblower” in front to the Senate yesterday saying that Facebook needed to be heavily regulated.

Frances Haugen said that Facebook cared more about profits than the safety of the children who use Facebook, especially girls. She said:

The company’s leadership knows how to make Facebook and Instagram safer but won’t make the necessary changes because they have put their astronomical profits before people. Congressional action is needed. They won’t solve this crisis without your help.

Companies have 100% control over their algorithms, and Facebook should not get a free pass on choices it makes to prioritize growth and virality and reactiveness over public safety. They’re paying for their profits right now with our safety.

Couple of things:

  • This is not a crisis.
  • She seems more concerned about Facebook making profits.
  • Private companies should have control over their algorithms. That is a company’s intellectual property. She wants the government to control it. Why? We’ll answer that later.
  • Facebook is not selling cigarettes or crack. What do they have to do with the safety of children, especially girls?
    • Isn’t that the problem of the parents?
    • Isn’t this the same argument made against television commercials?
  • And, by the way, teenagers being insecure is a new thing?

Nothing she is saying here is new. We’ll see later that there is an ulterior motive to all this.

She said that she did not think (why anyone cares what she thinks shocks me) Facebook should be broken up but there needs to be a change to section 230. Section 230 is what makes a company not responsible for third party content while being able to control offensive content like porn. She said:

I think if we had appropriate oversight, or if we reformed Section 230 to make Facebook responsible for the consequences of their intentional ranking decisions, I think they would get rid of engagement-based ranking because it is causing teenagers to be exposed to more anorexia content. It is pulling families apart, and in places like Ethiopia, it is literally fanning ethnic violence.

Some things:

  • I think there should be changes to section 230 too. But those changes should allow me to sue Facebook when they block me.
  • This should not be something that the government forces Facebook to do something.
  • Notice, she’s talking about women and ethnic violence? How woke of her.

Some things about her entire 3 1/2 hour testimony:

  • She wants the government to regulate Facebook.
    • She thinks the algorithms should be reviewed and controlled by the government. That’s unconstitutional because it is a violation private business and intellectual property laws.
    • She thinks there should be a governmental regulator that Mark Zuckerberg has to report to.
    • One person she suggested was herself. That’s right. She’s saying the government should make her Mark Zuckerberg’s boss.
  • All her complaints stem from Left wing talking points.

Mark Zuckerberg released a 1300 word statement about this whole thing on Facebook. I won’t go over it because I already know this bitch is full of shit (we’ll go over that in a second). The only thing I remember is he said this gal is not a professional for Facebook and knows nothing about the inner workings.

What Is This Really?

Frances Haugen is not a whistleblower. She’s a Left wing plant that has put out this non-information so that Democrats can undermine and takeover Facebook, controlling what data see on Facebook. Period.

Haugen has, throughout her life, shown she is sympathetic for Leftist policies:

  • She donated to Leftist politicians like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
  • She’s donated to the “Courage to Change” Political Action Committee.
  • She complained that Google was not inclusive enough of women.
  • Frances Haugen was behind a “recent change to give users the option to filter searches to specific skin tones.
  • At Gigster, she gave a talk on how “if we don’t build with an eye towards inclusion, we can end up enshrining bias.”
  • Despite having money for political donations, in January 2020, Haugen had a $44,000 federal tax lien placed against her for unpaid taxes, according to public records reviewed by The Daily Wire. The lien was released on May 17, 2021. Those lawyers are Whistleblower Aid, a group founded by Mark Zaid, who previously represented the national security official who alleged that Donald Trump inappropriately pressed the Ukraine president on a phone call.
  • The public relations firm of former Obama aide Bill Burton, a company called Bryson Gillette helmed by a raft of Democratic operatives, is providing Haugen with “strategic communications guidance,” helping run what one Republican called “an incredibly well-orchestrated communications campaign,” the Free Beacon reported.
  • Even Mark Zuckerberg has even said she does not have the technical expertise she is conveying.

Democrats want to control how information and what information is disseminated. This gal is a tool to help them get to their desired objective.

Those People Are Terrorists?

Last year, BLM did about $3 billion in damage through rioting.

Antifa took over a section of Portland, burned down a police station and assaults citizens on a daily basis.

In Chicago, gangs have shot thousands a year.

At the border, the drug cartels are trafficking people, committing rape and murder and are importing dangerous drugs into this country.

But, do you know who is being referred to as a domestic terrorists? Conservative parents who do not want their kids being taught critical race theory or critical gender theory.

Last week, the National School Board Association sent a letter to President Biden stating:

“America’s public schools and its education leaders are under an immediate threat. The National School Boards Association respectfully asks for federal law enforcement and other assistance to deal with the growing number of threats of violence and acts of intimidation occurring across the nation.”

On Monday, the Biden administration responded.

In a letter, Merrick Garland said:

This is a lie. There have been some scuffles at board meetings but not against board members and there are very few videos of anything outside of parents yelling at the school boards (usually run by people who don’t have kids in the school districts).

I find it amazing how the Biden administration continues to demonize Americans and Conservatives. I can’t wait to hear the stories that are going to come out that some parent, who bitched at a school board, ends up being banned from a plane flight because he’s considered a terrorist.

Here’s the thing, we hear all the time now about how parents should have a say in their education. Here’s Virginia Democratic governor candidate, Terry McAuliffe saying just that:

Parents need are beginning to take the bull by the horns. Schools have become indoctrination factories and McAuliffe’s statement basically proves that. The state doesn’t want you to raise your own kids. They are considered property of the state. This is why the Left is so against school choice. Private schools don’t teach this crap. They don’t teach that all white people are racists and that you can change your gender at the drop of a hat. They don’t teach math like it’s racist. They make student learn the STEM fields, learn to read and write. In other words, the teach students to be productive citizens. This is not a goal of the public school systems and the teacher unions. It’s to make good radical activists.

Well, parents are sick of not having a say about their children’s education. And they’re speaking up. You know what they should do not. Double down. Continue doing this. Continue fighting. Make those school boards uncomfortable. Fight for their kids. Apparently, what parents were doing before has worked. The school boards are getting nervous, not for their lives like the NSBC wants you to believe, but are afraid of the dissent and protest. We need to keep it up.

World War III is Coming

Chinese state media, the Global Times, released an editorial basically saying that China is ready for war.

You may remember that China sent over 150 war planes over Taiwan, which is an independent country. China sees Taiwan as part of China and swore they would “take back” the country from the secessionists. Taiwan has been working with Australia, Japan, Briton and the United States to try to discourage China’s aggression.

The publication stated:

The peaceful atmosphere that existed in the area only a few years ago has all but disappeared, and the DPP authorities now openly refer to PLA fighters as “enemy aircraft.” They have constantly hyped up claims that they are at the forefront of the so-called democratic world to resist “authoritarian rule.” The strategic collusion between the US and Japan and the DPP authorities is becoming more audacious, and the situation across the Taiwan Straits has almost lost any room for maneuver teetering on the edge of a face-off, creating a sense of urgency that the war may be triggered at any time.

Yeah, because China doesn’t lie, right? And can you think of a better time for China to invade? The United States isn’t going to do anything because Taiwan is an ally and we don’t help our allies.

Episode 426 – Out of Bounds

Old Joe made a speech about raising the debt limit, further unifying with Republicans.

Yes, I’m being sarcastic.

And the Left’s go-to strategy for “persuading” Senators to vote for the Build Back Better bill goes out-of-bounds.

 

I Hope He Didn’t Lose His Dentures While Biting Republicans

Old Joe just keeps being unifying.

He made a speech yesterday about Republicans refusing to raise the debt ceiling.

  • According to Janet Yellen, we will start defaulting on our debt on October 18th.
  • Democrats want the debt ceiling raised now.
  • Republicans, in the shadow of $5 trillion of spending, say, no, if Democrats want to raise the debt ceiling, they will need to use reconciliation and own the debt.
  • Democrats don’t want to use reconciliation because they want to pass other bills.
  • If they don’t, Republicans will use the filibuster which will require 60 votes in the Senate. Dems would not have the votes.

So Joe made a speech and it was very unifying. He blamed Trump and the Republicans. He said the world would be destroyed by fire and brimstone. It was a tough speech but it had very little bite. It didn’t change anyone’s mind. Let’s look at some of it.

So, let’s go through some of the highlights:

  • Not true. Our credit rating actually did drop in 2011 from a AAA to AA+ rating. That’s because people were afraid of our debt!
    • By the way, who was President in 2011 and what was his excuse (hint: it was Bush’s fault)?
  • Standards and Poor’s rating says, because of the debt and our unstable political system, says our credit with the rest of the world is not great.
  • He’s using fear to push his agenda. These people are going to get paid.
  • Our tax revenue can only pay the interest, not the principle. I know this is suppose to be OK but no. Our debt could get so high, we won’t even be able to pay the interest. That’s when the fun starts.
  • Question for you: Can you borrow off your credit if your credit is overextended? I bet no.

  • We pay our interest, not on the principle on our debt. That’s why our debt keeps going up.
  • Our credit is not the best in the world.
  • I remember our founding fathers went out to pay all our national debt. How far we’ve fallen.

  • Notice, he’s talking to people like children? You can tell he’s actually trying to talk to the people. Maybe he should do it in prime time (his bed time) and not at noon Eastern Time.

    • It has everything to do with the trillions he wants to spend this year.
    • The $1.5 trillion and $3.5 trillion bills (which will cost a lot more in the end) are not $0.
    • The government does not make enough money to pay for these bills even if they pass their tax bill.

  • It may do some of the things he said but it is going to have to be done some time. We can’t continue this way.

  • This will also show us how f-ed up our system is. Social security, for example, in a Ponzi scheme.

  • But he wants to dump another $5 trillion (which is actually about $8 trillion) after spending $2 trillion earlier this year.
  • Remember when Bernie Sanders and AOC said we should be spending $10 trillion a year and people laughed at them. That’s what Old Joe is doing!
  • We need to cut the spending in general.
    • We need to cut programs.
    • We need to cut bureaucracy.
    • We need to cut taxes.
    • And we need to cut the debt, no matter the pain.

  • Biden was against ending the filibuster before. It sounds like he’s warming up to it.
  • I just want to point out that the filibuster was used over 300 times when Trump was in the White House.

  • He also looks worn out. I don’t know how long he’s going to last.
  • He did seem more lucid than he usually does.
  • This is the selling point. Democrats are the saviors, Republicans are the obstructionists. This is a really old talking point and they have been using it for years.
  • The filibuster has been used by both parties since its inception. It is hardly a “procedural trick” or an “elaborate procedural scheme”. .
  • The meteor has already hit the Earth in the form over overspending by the government. The “work” that Democrats want to do involves putting gasoline on the fires caused by the meteor by raising taxes and spending more on new programs that will deaden the economy, cost jobs, drive dependence on the government and prevent innovation.

  • I want to point out that Joe Biden didn’t want to raise the debt ceiling in 2004 during the debt ceiling.
  • Again, if the debt ceiling is not lifted, he is going to have problems passing the additional $6 trillion he wants to pass. Republicans want him to own it.
  • This isn’t Russian roulette. We will be able to continue on. We will just require the government to spend less and pay off the debt.

Conclusion

The infrastructure bill is going to get passed. The reconciliation bill is going to get passed (though it will be cut). The debt limit is going to be raised and the swamp will continue on. I don’t think Republicans have the balls to stand by their beliefs.

That’s why they got Trump in 2016 and that’s why they are going to get Trump, or someone like him, in 2024.

The Gall of These People

The Left must be scared because they have been reduced to harassment of those Democrats who do not want to go along with these radical economic policies.

Here is Kyrsten Sinema at Arizona State University, where she teaches, being harassed all the way into the women’s restroom by a couple of student (one of which is an illegal alien). Listen:

I also want to point out that this illegal alien with the sob story about her grandfather is blaming Sinema because she’s here illegally and can’t just leave the country and come back in? Is this a debating point?

  • She’s so used to breaking the law because she’s an illegal alien, she and her partner do care that they committed a felony by harassing her in the ladies restroom.
  • I am tired of hearing about this stolen land crap. This land was not stolen.

  • And, because she’s an illegal alien, she doesn’t deserve it and should be kicked out of the country.

But that wasn’t it. Kyrsten Sinema was harassed on a plane, heading back to Washington DC. Listen:

  • If a 2 year old doesn’t where a mask, she’s tossed from the plane.

To her credit, Sinema is one tough cookie. She said that this harassment was completely inappropriate and does not influence her in any way. I’ll venture a guess. I bet it pisses her off and makes her less motivated to vote for that garbage bill.

It also shows you how stupid these people are. Legal citizenship must be pulled out to the Build Back Better bill (such a stupid slogan). Remember, the Senate Parliamentarian said that condition cannot be in a reconciliation bill.

Finally, the balls on these people and the cowardice of our law enforcement. These people are illegal aliens. They are breaking our laws in this country and they think they we owe them something! If we had any balls, law enforcement would be at their homes and bussing their asses out of the country.

Joe Biden was asked about this and he had a really flippant answer.

  • Really, it happens to all of you? I don’t remember the last time a Leftist got kicked out of a restaurant.
  • Also, this is part of the process? I don’t remember a Leftist got harassed for this boondoggle of a bill by a Conservative. Trust me, most Conservatives are definitely concerned.
  • In fact, any Conservative who protests against Leftist policies are usually called a white supremacist and/or a domestic terrorists.
  • That’s exactly what happening when these school boards are being yelled at about teaching critical race theory or critical gender theory by parents.

But sleepy, creepy Joe’s response is still better than how the media portrays it. They think Sinema deserves to be harassed in the women’s restroom while she’s trying to pee. Ana Navaro, the obnoxious Leftist from The View made that clear:

The reality is this is the Left’s weapon. But I think it’s going to get worse.

 

Conclusion

Joe Concha from Fox News made a very good point.

These people weren’t trying to convince Sinema to vote for a bill. If they were, they wouldn’t have been filming it. They were trying to create a viral video. Notice that these videos are escalating. Harassing someone in the restroom is against the law. A felony I believe but they do it anyway.

The question I have is what are people going to do in the future to create a viral video? When is someone going to get hurt? We already see that some of these people are nuts. We’re going to find out because you know someone is planning something to be a Leftist hero and create that viral video.

Episode 425 – She’s Just Terrible!

California is making it a law that it is suppose to be a crappy state.

Joe Biden keeps showing us how moderate he is with his two latest picks to his administration.

Keeping Up With the Joneses

Gavin Newsom is on fire. Since he won his recall election, instead of thinking he’s going to do better as a governor, he decided to act more like an a-hole that will drive California further into the sewer.

 

Vax Mandate

I told you this was going to happen after New York decided to force nurses and doctors to get vaxxed or lose their jobs.

Gavin Newsom announced that K-12 grades will require their students are vaxxed in both private and public schools. He said:

“We are all exhausted by this pandemic. We are all exhausted by this. And that is the purpose of this. We hope this encourages folks to get vaccinated.

“We have no trepidation, no hesitancy in encouraging local districts to move forward more expeditiously.”

You know what we’re tired of? People like Gavin Newsom making a big stink of the flu that’s never going away.

He added in an interview with the Sacramento Bee:

“I believe we will be the first state in America to move forward with this mandate and requirement, but I do not believe, by any stretch of the imagination, that we will be the last state. I anticipate that other states will follow suit.”

Whenever you hear, “we are going to implement the most progressive whatever in the country,” that means California will try a take a shot at doubling down.

I talked to Josie about this and she has one word about this: No!

 

Jeez, That’s What We Need

California has some major issues:

  • Drugs.
  • Mental health.
  • Homelessness.
  • Crime.

What better way to solve these problems than blame the police and try to reform them so they can’t do their jobs. What he wants to do includes:

  • Raising the minimum age for police officers from 18 to 21.
  • Allowing their badges to be permanently taken away for excessive force, dishonesty and racial bias.
  • Limit law enforcement’s use of rubber bullets and tear gas for crowd control.
  • Restrict the use of techniques for restraining suspects in ways that can interfere with breathing.
  • Legislation increasing transparency of peace officer misconduct records.
  • Eliminate certain immunity provisions allowing police officers to face lawsuits.

Newsom said:

“Today marks another step toward healing and justice for all. Too many lives have been lost due to racial profiling and excessive use of force. We cannot change what is past, but we can build accountability, root out racial injustice, and fight systemic racism. We are all indebted to the families who have persevered through their grief to continue this fight and work toward a more just future.”

Question for you: Why would anyone want to be a cop?

  • Your life is constantly put in danger but you, seemingly, aren’t allowed to protect yourself.
  • Your susceptible to any complaint.
  • You can be sued by any criminal because he doesn’t like you.
  • The mere mention that you are a racist, and all white people are racist, and you can lose you job.
  • You can lose your job because there might be impropriety.
  • And every criminal you catch gets let off.

Needless to say, every police organization in the state thinks this law is bunk. Be prepared to see a lot of police, sheriff and CHP quit and the academies being empty. The trash one has to go through just isn’t worth it.

 

The End of the Suburbs

Gavin Newsom has decided to end the suburbs in California and force us all to live in apartments. Kind of like they do in China and the Soviet Union.

According to the San Jose Mercury News, Newsom “essentially abolished single-family zoning in California – and green-lighted a series of bills intended to bolster the state’s housing production.”

SB9 states:

Under the law, local governments will have to approve the applications if the projects meet size requirements and local design standards, fall outside historic and environmentally sensitive districts, and do not require the demolition of housing that is rent-restricted or has been occupied by tenants in the past three years.

In other words, if someone wants to build a house, the house has to be a certain size and the government must approve it. Essentially ending property rights in California.

The second law, SB10 “will allow cities to rezone some parcels in urban areas, including those near public transit, for up to 10 units.”

Not sure what that means for houses already in the rezoned areas. Can the be taken through imminent domain? They’ve done that in downtown Los Angeles.

These laws will not make California a better state and it does not address the regulations, such as rent control, that discourage people from building multi unit dwellings.

This law turns California into an institution.

 

Why Not? It’s Worked So Far

Be prepared never to see a Republican elected to office again in California.

California on Monday became the latest — and the largest — state to adopt the mail-in ballot system. Now, every single eligible voter in California will be mailed ballots for elections without asking for one.

Newsom tweeted:

Here we go:

  • Mail-in voting was not suppose to be permanent.
  • Mail-in voting has shown tons of corruption.
  • Voting shouldn’t be easy and too convenient.

 

About Time

In a final stroke of genius by the Californian governor, he has decided to remove the term “alien” from the California code. It will be replaced by non-citizen.

“As the nation’s most diverse state, we are stronger and more vibrant because of our immigrant communities.

“This important legislation removes the word ‘alien,’ which is not only an offensive term for a human being, but for far too long has fueled a divisive and hurtful narrative. By changing this term, we are ensuring California’s laws reflect our state’s values.”

You know what should also be a state value? Law and order. Sovereignty. Citizenship.

In the past, the Newsom administration said the term is, “a political dog whistle to express bigotry and hatred without using traditionally racist language.”

According to the Oxford dictionary, alien means:

  • belonging to a foreign country or nation.
  • a foreigner, especially one who is not a naturalized citizen of the country where they are living.

Josie is considered an alien because she wasn’t born here and isn’t a naturalized citizen. It’s not racist, it’s a term and has been through the English languages history. This is another example of Leftists trying to change the language.

No thank you. I’ll just continue to use the term “alien” in the way it was meant.

 

Conclusion

California is become a crap hold and our governor thinks he has a mandate to make it worse. I understand that a lot of people want to stay here because it is a beautiful state and the weather is great. They are hoping the political climate changes in the future.

I have been waiting twenty years and it’s only gotten worse. And the laws being passed make it that it will never change.

Adam Brandon, president of conservative and libertarian advocacy group FreedomWorks, saying it “should come as no surprise” Biden’s nominee holds her views “seeing as she collaborated with eco-terrorist groups with ties to Ted Kaczynski.”

Stone-Manning’s bitter confirmation process was surrounded by controversy, primarily stemming from her links to a 1989 Earth First! tree-spiking plot in an Idaho forest.

She got immunity to testify against her group. She wrote a letter to the Forest Service as part of her deal. According to Fox News:

The letter told the Forest Service that 500 pounds of “spikes measuring 8 to 10 inches in length” had been jammed into the trees of an Idaho forest.

“The sales were marked so that no workers would be injured and so that you a–holes know that they are spiked,” read the letter obtained by Fox News. “The majority of the trees were spiked within the first ten feet, but many, many others were spiked as high as a hundred and fifty feet.”

“P.S., You bastards go in there anyway and a lot of people could get hurt,” the note concluded.

She has also said that she believed we needed to limit the population of the United States to protect the environment.

According to Fox News:

Stone-Manning also took heavy fire for her graduate thesis where she endorsed population control to protect the environment, writing that Americans needed to “breed fewer consuming humans.” She also wrote that parents should stop having children after having two and created a sample advertisement that called a pictured child an “environmental hazard.”

Biden’s new BLM director also wrote in a 1991 essay that Americans should “wage war on overpopulation” to protect grizzly bears.

“We can bicker and moan at each other in our battle about what is going to help the bear now, but ultimately we need to look at maps less, crunch numbers less, and begin to wage war on overpopulation,” Stone-Manning concluded.

Additionally, last year the newly-minted director of BLM shared her husband’s 2018 article suggesting to let houses caught in forest fires “burn.”

Does this sound like a person who cares about Americans?

 

Saule Omarova

This is insane.

Joe Biden nominated Saule Omarova to be the Comptroller of the Currency. She is suppose to run the banks. Let me read what an Op-Ed piece from the Wall Street Journal said about this person:

President Biden checked off another progressive identity box last week by nominating Saule Omarova as Comptroller of the Currency. Some Trump appointees were ridiculed for having supported the elimination of their agencies. Ms. Omarova wants to eliminate the banks she’s being appointed to regulate.

The Cornell University law school professor’s radical ideas might make even Bernie Sanders blush. She graduated from Moscow State University in 1989 on the Lenin Personal Academic Scholarship. Thirty years later, she still believes the Soviet economic system was superior, and that U.S. banking should be remade in the Gosbank’s image.

“Until I came to the US, I couldn’t imagine that things like gender pay gap still existed in today’s world. Say what you will about old USSR, there was no gender pay gap there. Market doesn’t always ‘know best,’” she tweeted in 2019. After Twitter users criticized her ignorance, she added a caveat: “I never claimed women and men were treated absolutely equally in every facet of Soviet life. But people’s salaries were set (by the state) in a gender-blind manner. And all women got very generous maternity benefits. Both things are still a pipe dream in our society!”

Sure, there was a Gulag, and no private property, but maternity benefits!

This woman believes in the communist economy that the Soviet Union created and failed with.

She believes in a central, federal bank which people have to deal with. Private banks should not invest money, should not acquire other banks and businesses, should not be able to give out loans and should not deal with things like 401Ks. All should be done by the centralized, Federal Reserve.

Government sucks at everything. It took me seven months to get my passport “expediated”. Imagine trying to get a business or home loan from the government.

Also, the Soviet Union did have pay equality between genders. Everyone was poor.

Kamala Harris is a Disaster

Last week, Kamala Harris agreed with an anti-Semite high school student and created a scandal with one of our greatest allies in the Middle East. Listen:

Couple of things here:

  • Israel is not committing genocide. That is a Leftist talking point.
  • This girl should have been called out as an anti-Semite off the bat or, at least, said she was wrong or didn’t understand the politics over there.
  • The worst term is “your truth”. There’s no such thing. Truth is based on provable facts. It is not subjective.
  • Kamala Harris is really bad at this:
    • She has f-up everything she’s been assigned to.
    • She has no argument about anything.
    • She has a creepy, cackling laugh.
    • The Biden administration is trying to hide her from public view.
  • The big problem is she’s a Leftist and needs to appease her Leftist base.

She is not ready to be President. I’ll even go so far as to say she will never be ready. She is an embarrassment in historic fashion for the first woman as Vice President and people are praying she doesn’t push Old Joe down the stairs yet to become President.

Harris’ staff contacted the Democratic Majority for Israel and its president, Mark Mellman, to reaffirm her support for Israel.

Mellman stated:

“We were pleased Vice President Harris’s senior staff reached out to us today to confirm what we already knew: Her ‘commitment to Israel’s security is unwavering.’”

Of course, this guy is also kind of a Leftist that is also against Israeli policies. This is a weak attempt to fix anything. The woman who is next in line to be President is looking like an anti-Semite.

So, what are you going to do? How about getting a couple of people to teach Kamala to be a human being. That’s what her group did.

According to Reuters:

“Lorraine Voles and Adam Frankel, who worked with Harris during the transition, have joined the team and will focus on strategic communications, long-term planning and organizational development, a White House official with knowledge of the matter said. Their experience has been and will continue to be a valuable resource for our whole team, as we map out long-term planning and fulfill the administration’s ambitious policy agenda.”

What does it mean to “fulfill the administration’s ambitious policy agenda”? It means they are going to teach her how to be a politician and lie better.

According to the Washington Examiner:

“Lorraine Voles, a crisis communications expert, and Adam Frankel, a former Obama speechwriter, worked for Harris during the presidential transition and have extensive experience crafting messages from the White House and the corporate world. Among the services Voles advertises on her website, ‘crisis management’ and ‘marketing and rebranding’ earn top billing.”

Not going to work. Kamala has sucked for way too long. Heck, her own state didn’t want her as President when she was running. I guess sleeping your way into politics (Willie Brown) does not make one a politician.

The Economic Debate

The Debt Ceiling

The debt ceiling has been temporarily suspended. This will allow the government to continue running until December 3rd.

  • The House approved the bill, 254-175.
  • The Senate approved the measure 65-35.
  • President Biden signed the bill on Thursday night.

The thought that this may show that Republicans are as nervous of meeting the debt ceiling as the Democrats and they might negotiate a reconciliation bill. Remember, that same bill they were suppose to vote on tonight?

Yeah, well, no.

The Democrats do have some ideas, though, on getting around the debt ceiling. Yeah, yeah, eliminate the filibuster but that was so three months ago and it’s not going to happen:

The first idea is to create a trillion dollar coin. Newsweek explains:

The idea of minting a trillion-dollar commemorative coin to shore up the nation’s finances comes from an obscure law that gives the U.S. Treasury Secretary the authority to “mint and issue platinum bullion coins and proof platinum coins in accordance with such specifications, designs, varieties, quantities, denominations, and inscriptions as the Secretary, in the Secretary’s discretion, may prescribe from time to time.”

Proponents have picked up on the “denominations” note there, arguing that any amount could be minted at a normal coin size and deposited into the Federal Reserve to prevent a national debt crisis.

The idea is we could pay off our debt with this coin. This is not a new idea. Barrack Obama, during the debt ceiling crisis on his term, thought about it. He said in 2017:

“There was this theory that I had the authority to issue through the mint this massive $1 trillion coin and on that basis we could try to pay off US Treasurys. It was a very realistic possibility that we couldn’t get the votes for that and we couldn’t get those debts rolled over and we would be in a situation where we were technically in default. At that point, you were in uncharted territory.”

There are some problems with this that Barrack Obama knew about:

  • This is not different than just printing money.
  • It also seems to be going back to the gold standard.
  • It is a fake solution. It doesn’t actually address the problem which is over spending.
  • And where are they going to get the money to pay for this coin? Taxes.
  • Finally, this is not who we are. We need to deal with the spending and the debt. Not create an artificial solution.

The other way to deal with this is far more realistic but more devastating. Janet Yellen, the horrible Secretary of the Treasury, has told us she’s in favor of ending the debt ceiling altogether. Now understand, the reason there is a debt ceiling is to control spending. What she is saying is that we should not have a limit on spending and we she just pay debt by adding to the debt.

That’s like having a credit card with a limit of $500 and, when the limit was reached, the limit could be raised so that you could pay off your credit card with the same credit card you’re trying to pay off. Do you see a problem with that?

This will cause:

  • Inflation.
  • High taxes.
  • Austerity.
  • Job loss.
  • Innovation loss.

This has been tried before. Look at Japan. Guess what happened to them. They have been economically stagnant since the 90s.

 

Reconciliation Bill

The reconciliation bill is in huge trouble. The Democrats, per Bernie Sanders and the Squad, wanted the $3.5 trillion reconciliation bill, or budget bill, voted on before the “bipartisan” infrastructure bill. Democratic Senators and Reps said they would not vote for the “bipartisan” infrastructure bill if the reconciliation bill was not passed first. All $3.5 trillion (actually $5.5 trillion).

Democrats may have painted themselves into a corner because they only have a three vote lead in the House and are, as of now, down by four votes in the Senate. Bernie Sanders is looking to undermine the bill by saying he will not vote for the infrastructure bill. He tweeted on Monday:

Here’s the problem he fails to see: Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema, who are part of the Democratic caucus, never agreed that this bill was a good idea and were against it from the beginning. Joe Machin wrote an opinion piece for the Wall Street Journal a couple of months ago explaining why it was a bad idea and pointed out that the pandemic proves we need to curtail spending.

So Bernie, last night, went after those two:

This has never been a strategy I’ve understood. Instead of trying to convince these two Senators, let’s just yell at them. That’ll change their minds! Yeah, no.

Also, Bernie is taking the “math is racist” thing and using it for his benefit. It isn’t two Senators that are going to end this bill, it is fifty-two Senators that are going to kill the bill.

So here’s what’s happening at this moment:

  • The infrastructure bill vote, which was suppose to be last night, has been postponed because the reconciliation bill negotiations have stalled.
  • Negotiations continue as of this morning.
  • Joe Manchin says the bill can be around $2 trillion and must include the Hyde Amendment.

I have a feeling this bill will not be voted on until next week…maybe.

She’s Back!

I miss Greta Thunberg. She’s been gone a while. And, since she turned 18, we can say anything about her and we can’t be accused of attacking a child even though, mentally, she is a child because of her mental deficiencies. That might even be controversial if it weren’t for the fact it’s true and she is given so much credibility by the Left.

She’s:

  • Dumb.
  • Doesn’t understand science.
  • Doesn’t understand climate.
  • Never gives arguments in her speeches.
  • Just yells at us.
  • And, watching her last speech, looks like she needs a shower and should wash her hair with some not-environmentally-friendly shampoo.
