According to the Daily Wire:
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was accused of “election interference” on Monday after visiting the swing state of Pennsylvania where he made an appearance with Democrats at an ammunition factory.
His appearance at the Scranton Army Ammunition Plant on Sunday comes after he trashed former President Donald Trump and Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) during an interview he gave with New York magazine while he was still in Ukraine.
“My feeling is that Trump doesn’t really know how to stop the war even if he might think he knows how,” he said. “With this war, oftentimes, the deeper you look at it the less you understand.”
Zelensky said that Vance was “too radical” because Vance believes that Ukraine must “make a sacrifice” by losing some of its territory to bring its war with Russia to an end.
He said that he does not take Vance’s words seriously and that his experience with Trump has been different because he says Trump has pledged his support for Ukraine.

Could This Be the End?
According to the Daily Wire:
A looming dock worker strike could throw the economy — and the presidential election — into chaos, an October surprise that would likely hurt Democrats.
The International Longshoremen’s Association, which represents about 85,000 dock workers nationwide, is threatening to strike on October 1 if the union cannot reach an agreement with port ownership. Negotiations broke down in June between the union and the United States Maritime Alliance, which represents port management. The two sides are in a stalemate over both wages and the automation of port operations.
A strike would shut down five of North America’s 10 busiest ports, 36 ports total along the East and Gulf Coasts, and cause massive supply chain issues — which, depending on how long the strike lasts, could impact consumers past Election Day and well into the holiday season. If the supply chain is upended like this causing scarcities, we are also likely to see another nasty bout of inflation just as families are trying to recover from the nearly 20% spike in prices since before the pandemic.
The Biden administration has the power to stop strikes that could threaten national security or severely impact the economy. But the White House has said it will not intervene in a dock worker strike, and is encouraging the two sides to get back to the negotiating table.
The global economic turmoil wrought by a strike of this size cannot be understated.
The ports that would be affected move nearly half of all U.S. imports, and billions of dollars in trade each month. The ripple effects on supply chains in Europe, Asia, and Latin America would also be significant.
None of this is likely good for Democrats.

Things Just Keep Getting Better
According to the Wall Street Journal:
The number of homeless people in the U.S. continues to grow, putting the country on pace to hit yet another record high this year.
Counts from encampments, streets, and shelters are largely higher than they were in 2023, according to preliminary data collected and reviewed by The Wall Street Journal.
The numbers come from more than 250 homeless-service organizations covering cities, metro areas and vast rural areas. They are meant to reflect homelessness as it existed on a single night early this year. The Journal’s count includes about 550,000 homeless people so far, up about 10% from what these places reported last year.
The trend thus far means the U.S. is likely to top the roughly 653,000 homeless people estimated in 2023—the highest number since the government started reporting comparable data in 2007.
The final count will depend on outstanding data from places that haven’t yet divulged their 2024 numbers, especially New York City, which reported the highest count last year.
Migrants bused by Texas to Chicago and Denver contributed to the latest increases when they landed in shelters there. Migrants have arrived in significant numbers in New York, which has long had a legal right to shelter, swelling numbers in last year’s count.
