Episode 526 – Frigging California

Remember that compliment I had for Gavin Newsom last week? Well, California got right back to crazy. Let’s compare California to a smart state.

Darwin’s theory comes to light.

And Kamala can’t seem to get anyone to stay with her.

News

Some news:

  • Elon Musk and Twitter could reach a deal for the tech billionaire to buy the social media platform as early as today.
    • Could exceed $46.5 billion.
    • Musk made his offer of $54.20 per share.
    • Twitter and Mush negotiated late into the night and early morning.
    • As I have said before, Musk is going to make Twitter private, fire all the board members and management and open up the platform again.
    • Be prepared for a Trump re-emergence.
    • We will talk more about this tomorrow because Barrack Obama made some comments this weekend which will fit nicely into this story.
  • The soldier is identified as 22-year-old Bishop E. Evans from Arlington, Texas.
    • It was initially reported he rescued a woman. He did not.
    • He rescued two drug mules.
    • His body still has not been found and he’s assumed to have drown.
    • The Biden administration still has not commented on the death.
    • This comes on the eve of Title 42 ending next month.

Frigging California

California is at it again to make it the most f-ed up state in the country. Let’s take a look at some of their new laws that will convince anyone with an ounce of common sense and morality to move from this craphole state.

AB 2223

California is trying to pass a law, AB 2223, that, if read literally, could legalize infanticide for babies up to 30 days after birth. The section in question is 7a of the law. It states:

7(a) Notwithstanding any other law, a person shall not be subject to civil or criminal liability or penalty, or otherwise deprived of their rights, rights under this article, based on their actions or omissions with respect to their pregnancy or actual, potential, or alleged pregnancy outcome, including miscarriage, stillbirth, or abortion, or perinatal death. death due to a pregnancy-related cause.

I have to be honest: I was a little miffed with the language. I do not like what they are pushing but I did not see what was th big issue. I had to do a little research to figure out what was going on.

According to the National Catholic Register:

At issue is one part of the bill, Section 7(a), which reads: “Notwithstanding any other law, a person shall not be subject to civil or criminal liability or penalty, or otherwise deprived of their rights, based on their actions or omissions with respect to their pregnancy or actual, potential, or alleged pregnancy outcome, including miscarriage, stillbirth, or abortion, or perinatal death.”

The bill does not define “perinatal death.” But in response to objections raised by the California Catholic Conference and other groups, Wicks amended the bill to read, “perinatal death due to a pregnancy-related cause,” language pro-lifers say is too vague.

The California Welfare & Institutions Code defines perinatal as “the period from the establishment of pregnancy to one month following delivery.”

I want to point something out. California is not the first state to push infanticide. New York and Virginia have some extremely loose abortion laws. Remember, Virginia governor and black face enthusiast, Ralph Northam said:

So this is nothing new or particularly surprising.

I am not going to go into the immorality of abortion and the California legislators know what they are doing. This isn’t an accident. In fact, I might surprise you. I think this is a good thing. Abortion was suppose to be “safe, legal and rare” and that narrative seemed to be working out for the pro-abortion people. Of course we knew that’s not what they meant. Even Josie thought abortion would be OK in the right situations.

But, as usual, the Left can’t help themselves but go to extremes. This is overboard. It won’t be supported and I doubt its even Constitutional. Let the Left go to these extremes. Like the murders of infants in Washington DC and Philadelphia, this will not be overlooked.

AB 2932

Here’s another good one. California is trying to pass a bill, AB-2932 wants to make it that the work week is only four days or 32 hours a week. Anyone who is “forced” to work over 32 hours, or regular hours, has to be paid, by the business, time and a half. The law would apply only to businesses over 500 people. If someone is earning a salary, the salary cannot be dropped, giving the salaried employee a raise.

Way to go California. Way to kick businesses out of California. This is probably not constitutional. But, hey, this is the state that wants to force businesses to put trans people on the boards of companies which, by the way, is unconstitutional.

Assembly member Cristina Garcia was asked about this and she said:

“Well, again, this only applies to companies that have 500 or more employees. This does not apply to small businesses out there. And yes, there might be an increase in salaries you have to pay and that’s not a bad thing.

The reality is that we have a worker shortage, like more than 60 percent of businesses are reporting… their bottom line is already being affected, they’re already struggling.”

By the way, this broad has never run a business. And what’s the unemployment rate in California going to be like when those businesses with 500 or more employees leave California or just shut down?

The California Chamber of Commerce released a statement:

It said the bill “imposes a tremendous cost on employers and includes provisions that are impossible to comply with, exposing businesses to litigation,” and that its “impact on labor costs in California will discourage job growth in the state,” noting that “up to one million jobs may be lost” if it goes into effect.

Peter Rex, CEO of Rex, a technology, investment, and real estate firm, moved his company from California to Texas three years ago. He said:

“…California, as a result, is going to continue to lose relative strength and power and competitiveness as an economy and people are going to continue to move out because business leaders like myself are going to move out…”

I need to get out of this state.

Here’s What A Good State Does

Want to know what a real state does?

Tennessee just passed a law in the state senate that would require intoxicated drivers convicted of vehicular homicide to pay child support if the victim of the offense was the parent of a minor child.

The summery of the legislation states:

“if a defendant is convicted of vehicular homicide due to intoxication or aggravated vehicular homicide and the victim of the offense was the parent of a minor child,” then the sentencing court must make the defendant pay “restitution in the form of child maintenance to each of the victim’s children.”

This is common sense legislation that consequences to crimes and give relief to victims.

I don’t have anything else to say about it.

Dumbass

According to the Daily Wire:

A Colorado man has died 24 hours after lighting himself on fire in front of the United States Supreme Court on Earth Day as part of what appears to be a religious protest against the use of fossil fuels and in order to bring attention to climate change.

On Friday evening, Washington, D.C., first responders airlifted Wynn Bruce, a 50-year-old climate activist, to a local hospital after he engulfed himself in flames. He later died Saturday evening despite medical efforts to save his life.

Wow.

The article continues:

Those reportedly close to Bruce are emphasizing that he did not consider this to be an act of suicide, rather that he was simply practicing Shambhala Buddhism and viewed the intentional act as one of self-immolation in order to draw attention to the supposedly damaging effects of climate change.

Ok, I have some thoughts.

First, environmentalism is a religion. People who practice it hate all other religions (except Islam). This, like all religions, is a religion of faith. But that faith is cynical. It is faith that the world is going to implode and we are all going to die unless we do something (though what that something is is not definable). So, what they do is just force people to pay attention to it with shock values. They can’t reason their points. They have no solutions (solar and wind? Give me a break).

Second, Darwin was wrong about a lot but he was right about this. The dumbasses will kill themselves. This sounds cruel but, if you’re honest with yourself, you know I’m right. Do you want this dumbass’s DNA in the gene pool.

Ciou to this guy.

She Gets a Free Aide

Imagine this:

  • You just get out of college with a political science degree.
  • You have no idea what you are going to do with a poly sci degree because they are pretty worthless and you don’t have the grades or LSAT scores to get into law school.
  • You apply to a job your aunt recommended to be a political aide.
  • Turns out that politician is the Vice President of the United States.
  • She accepts you and you are now working for the Vice President of the United States.
  • Great opportunity, right?

Question for you: How bad does it have to be that you would leave your job working for the Vice President of the United States and leave you career options in doubt?

Even if the Vice President is this dope:

Apparently, working with her is pretty bad. Heck, 72% of the population knows that.

According to the Daily Wire:

Tina Flournoy is the latest aide preparing to leave the vice president’s office, per The Washington Post. Flournoy, who has worked for Harris since December 2020, will reportedly be replaced by longtime Democrat operative Lorraine Voles. A dozen Harris advisors have now fled, including her deputy chief of staff, national security advisor, and communications director.

That is her 13th aide that has left. Shouldn’t be a surprise. As Political reported in June of last year:

“In interviews, 22 current and former vice presidential aides, administration officials and associates of Harris and Biden described a tense and at times dour office atmosphere. Aides and allies said Flournoy, in an apparent effort to protect Harris, has instead created an insular environment where ideas are ignored or met with harsh dismissals and decisions are dragged out. Often, they said, she refuses to take responsibility for delicate issues and blames staffers for the negative results that ensue.”

That’s our next President.

Episode 525 – We Should Applaud When a Lesson Is Applied

Let’s listen to some new Kamala-isms.

Police save a child but wokesters can’t see the heroic actions of the police.

Colleges continue to push the normalization of pedophilia.

And Ibram X. Kendi keeps talking himself into irrelevance.

Kamala-isms

We have done this in a while which means we haven’t done this is a couple of days. Let’s listen to some Kamala-isms.

Here Kamala talking to a bunch of soldiers from either the Air Force or Space Force. I don’t know which:

What? What questions does space make us ask? How does nothing which is space actually connect us together? If there is more space doesn’t that mean that we are less connected?

Anyway, here is the dumbest thing said this week. He took a load of crap for this one:

The first thing that came out of this was Hunter’s laptop and the E-mails that said 10% goes to the “big guy”. And the E-mails where Hunter is paying for Joe’s mortgage, house upgrades and cell phone bills.

Old Joe also has two houses in Delaware, both 7000+ square foot mansions. One a beachside property. I’m pretty sure he’s doing OK.

Hell Just Froze Over

I am going to do something that I have never done before. I am going to commend California Governor, Gavin Newsom.

I know, hell has frozen over.

According to the Los Angeles Times:

Six weeks after Gov. Gavin Newsom unveiled a far-reaching effort to push more people into court-ordered treatment for severe mental illness and addiction, homeless advocates are calling it legally misguided and immoral as the proposal’s first public hearing at the state Capitol has been delayed.

More than three dozen organizations and individuals, including the American Civil Liberties Union, Disability Rights California and the Western Center on Law and Poverty, signed an April 12 opposition letter raising serious concerns with Assembly Bill 2830, one of two nearly identical measures moving through the Legislature to implement Newsom’s Community Assistance, Recovery and Empowerment Court. The groups often have significant sway among liberal legislative Democrats, the kind of influence that could hinder Newsom’s hopes for a new law to be in place by July 1.

Newsom touted the CARE Court framework last month as an innovative strategy to guide an estimated 7,000 to 12,000 people into housing and much-needed treatment. Under the proposal, family members, behavioral health care providers and first responders, among others, could petition a civil judge to initiate a CARE plan for eligible individuals who lack medical decision-making capacity.

The governor said that CARE Court would focus on the most vulnerable Californians suffering from severe mental health conditions such as schizophrenia and individuals who have cycled in and out of hospitals and jails. The program would be voluntary and include assistance from both a public defender and a so-called supporter, a person who would serve as a personal guide through the recovery process.

This is a start and you know it’s a good start when the ACLU doesn’t like it. Well, f- the ACLU and all those other groups. They don’t live here and don’t have to walk around the crap and drugged out bodies on the sidewalk. They aren’t worried about some nut-job pushing them into traffic.

This is still a weak law. We need to go further. The sanitarium system need to be brought back. That includes forcible incarceration in the appropriate institution with the appropriate treatments. And we need to make homelessness a crime. It is not a right. One does not have the right to impede on someone else’s quality of life.

But Newsom will puss out. He always does.

Even Blacks Can Have a Life Lesson

According to the New York Post:

Syracuse police are under fire over a viral video that captured three white cops taking an 8-year-old black boy to a patrol car after he allegedly stole a bag of Doritos from a convenience store.

The footage shot by Kenneth Jackson and widely shared on social media shows the crying boy being detained by the officers on Sunday, the Post-Standard reported.

Here is the audio from the video which shows the strong reactions from one of the witnesses:

So here’s the story:

  • Three kids went into a convenience store and stole some potato chips.
  • The police were called and the police, who dealt with this kid (8 years old) before, grabbed the kid off his bike, cuffed him and put him in the car.
  • The boy was crying bloody murder. He didn’t want to go to jail.
  • Guy was yelling at the cops about arresting a kid.
  • The cops ended up taking the kids home but before putting the fear of God into them.

Of course, the cops were white and the kid was black so that was made into a big deal. The mayor was called and he called the police commissioner. If I were the police commissioner, I would have told the mayor to f-off. Those cops are heroes. They probably helped save that kid from a life of crime. After all that trauma, do you think that kid is going to steal chips again. Or worse when he gets older?

And that’s the other thing. Yeah, he is a kid. Most criminals, though, start off as kids and do stupid crap like this with no consequence. Then they do something worse in the future. It just gets worse.

And that’s another thing. The kid did commit a crime. It doesn’t matter how old he is, it’s still a crime. There is a victim. This is a problem with our society. We don’t feel sorry for the victims or want consequences for the crime. We just want the crime ignored. The problem with this desire is the crimes are getting worse.

Finally, why is this a national news story? Why is this being covered by, USA Today, ABC News, Yahoo News, Vice, and two British papers, the Daily Mail and the Independent? The media isn’t even covering the Brooklyn subway shooter anymore.

Well, we know why. White cops are all criminals and people of color who are criminals are victims. That’s the narrative and the media will not stop pushing this.

They’re After Your Kids

Remember how I told you that they were going to try to normalize pedophilia? It started with a group that tried to become part of the LGBTQ group (North American Man Boy Love Association or NAMBLA. This is a real thing and they have a website). Then, it went to rebranding the term pedophile by calling the Minor Attracted Persons (that teacher was fired).

Now, we have teachers that are flat out defending pedophilia.

According to the Post Millennial:

Professor David Finkelhor of the University of New Hampshire participated in a March 23 talk discussing the “elements of voluntary participation” by juveniles involved in sex crimes, saying that when trying to prevent sex crimes against children, it’s key to realize that in some cases, it is the children themselves that are “initiating sexual activities with adults.” Finkelhor is the Director of the Crimes Against Children Research Center at UNH.

Listen to him:

This is really scary because the education system is, not only normalizing pedophilia, it’s excusing it. This will start in college and then bleed down into high schools and then into elementary schools. How do we know this? That’s exactly what happen with the gay movement. That’s exactly what happened with the trans movement. It will happen within the next couple of years if we don’t get out heads out of our asses.

Now, some things with this guy’s logic. Mind, he’s an “expert” in child sex crimes.

  • If a young person initiates sexual activity with an adult, the adult backs that kid off. That’s what adults do. The kid doesn’t know what’s good for her.
  • He mentions that the relationship with a kid could be “consensual” and, therefore, the pedophile should not be held responsible. A child cannot consent until 18. That’s the law. So it is not possible to consent with a child.

This is coming from a teacher who teaches college students about crimes against children. Let that sink in.

Speaking of Racist

The day after Glenn Youngkin won the Virginia governor’s race last November, a Wall Street Journal headline declared: “Youngkin Makes the GOP the Parents’ Party.” Representative Jim Jordan of Ohio exulted in this new party line on Twitter: “The Republican Party is the party of parents.”

Polling data showed this new branding to be as misleading as the GOP’s framing of critical race theory. In a September Fox News poll, white respondents opposed the teaching of critical race theory by 24 percentage points, while respondents of color were more than twice as likely to favor CRT than oppose it. William Saletan at Slate concluded, “When Republicans talk about a parental backlash against CRT, they’re not talking about all parents. They’re talking about white parents.” Michelle Ruiz summed up in Vogue what has since emerged as the near consensus: “The GOP doesn’t want to be the party of parents; it wants to cement itself as the party of white parents.”

The reason I like f-ing with Kendi is he’s so stupid. He is so easy to read and completely dismantle his theories.

  • Youngkin did not win because of critical race theory. He won because Critical Gender Theory led to the rapes of two girls by the same “trans” girl and the school covered it up.
  • Youngkin said that all these “critical” theories, including critical race theory, are all crap and shouldn’t be taught.
  • Most blacks in Virginia didn’t want this crap being taught either. They thought it was divisive.
  • By the way, notice who he quotes? Slate. One of the most Leftist rags on the Internet. It’s like quoting something from Wikipedia. This big teacher should know better.
  • Already, this article is invalidated, but I’ll read on.

The Republican Party is clearly not the party of parents. The Republican Party is certainly not the party of parents of color. But is the Republican Party even the party of white parents?

Some things:

  • Yes, Republicans are the party of children,
    • We want to teach them real history.
    • We don’t want them to hate each other.
    • We want parents to know what’s happening with their kids.
    • We don’t want them to sterilize themselves with hormone treatments.
    • We don’t want our kids to chop parts of their bodies off.
    • We don’t want our girls to share restrooms with horny boys who say they are girls.
    • Yes I think we are the party of kids. Even black kids.

But this great myth is not as rudimentary as the great lie. It represents a Trump Tower of GOP propaganda, built over the past year on four hugely false conceptual building blocks:

  1. Republican politicians care about white children.
  2. Anti-racist education is harmful to white children.
  3. Republican politicians are protecting white children by banning anti-racist education.
  4. The Republican Party is the party of white parents because it is protecting white children.

Yes, that’s exactly what we are saying.

Every great myth is built on a foundational assumption, a fallacy widely assumed to be true. The foundational assumption of this great myth is that Republican politicians care about white children. But if they did, then they would not be ignoring or downplaying or defending or bolstering the principal racial threat facing white youth today. And I am not talking about critical race theory, which Republican propagandists have quite intentionally redefined, as one admitted, remaking it into a threat, and obscuring the real threat.

Um, huh? He proves my point.

Kendi’s foundational assumption is that every white person is racist. To be a an antiracist:

  • You must admit you are a racist, then you’re a racist.
  • If you don’t admit you are a racist, that’s because you are a racist.
  • See the circular argument. If you are white, you can’t win.

This guy wrote a book because he thinks white kids are racist at birth! It’s called, My Racist Baby. I am going to do a video log and read you that book, even showing you the pictures.

I think our foundational assumptions are the big problem here.

What are white children being indoctrinated with? What is making them uncomfortable? What is causing them to hate? White-supremacist ideology: the toxic blend of racist, sexist, ableist, homophobic, transphobic, Islamophobic, xenophobic, and anti-Semitic ideas that is harmful to all minds, especially the naive and defenseless minds of youth. Which group is the prime target of white supremacists? White youth.

Damn, we white people have issues.

John, a father of two, knew that his 15-year-old white son enjoyed playing multiplayer shooter games online, according to NPR. In games like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, players form teams online with friends and strangers. John knew that his son talked with teammates in private online chats. “This is the norm for kids,” John told NPR. “Instead of hanging out at the drive-in they’re all online.”

Some things:

  • Again, referencing NPR, a Leftist site.
  • Notice that everybody he describes has to have the descriptor of race?
  • I agree with him here. There’s lots of crap on the Internet. Get the kids off of it.
  • According to Abigail Shrier’s research for the book, Irreversible Damage, most kids learn about gender theory over the Internet.
  • Kids should be outside in the fresh air.

Many white-supremacist recruiters are online now too, and John’s son started gaming with some of them. These grown men asked this impressionable teenager about his problems in school. They suggested that his Black classmates were to blame and passed along racist literature.

Sounds like John needs to act like a father and take care of his kid.

In 2021, the Anti-Defamation League released a report finding that nearly one in 10 multiplayer gamers ages 13 to 17 had been exposed to white-supremacist ideology. An estimated 2.3 million teens each year are exposed to white-supremacist ideology in chats for multiplayer games like World of Warcraft, Fortnite, Apex Legends, League of Legends, Madden, Overwatch, and Call of Duty.

But the exposure to white supremacy through online video games is eclipsed by the 17 percent of 13-to-17-year-olds who encounter white-supremacist views on social media, according to the same ADL study. TikTok’s abundance of young users makes it a major recruiting ground for white supremacists. One study of TikTok videos promoting extremist views found that almost a third “amplified white supremacy.” In addition to anti-Black views, the TikToks also spewed offensive content about Asians, queer people, migrants and refugees, women, Muslims, and Jews.

OK, the Internet is evil. But to say that it is only white supremacist ideology on the Internet is just not accurate. The reality is that there aren’t that many white supremacists.

And yet, there might be more white-supremacist material preying on vulnerable young people on Instagram than on TikTok. White supremacists deploy all sorts of memes, especially Doge, Pepe the Frog, and Cheems. A marketing researcher found that 79 percent of 13-to-17-year-olds share memes.

“Memes are easily consumable and they are funny,” Patrik Hermansson, a researcher at the U.K.’s Hope Not Hate, told Insider. “The humor makes them easier to swallow.”

Oh, no! Don’t attack memes!

The more that white kids swallow white-supremacist memes—and like and share them—the more they are introduced to troubling and extreme material. The algorithms for social-media apps and search engines enable this “‘slow roll’ process,” researchers told Insider. Just like innocently inviting a stranger into a multiplayer game or chat room, innocently liking a “funny” meme can lead children into a dangerous hole of white-supremacist ideology. While in the hole, youth may be “groomed” through direct messages that are sent en masse by white supremacists. “You see 30-somethings talking to 14-year-olds and kind of grooming them for the far-right ideology,” the far-right-extremism researcher Miro Dittrich told Insider.

I’m on Twitter all the time. I have yet to see a white supremacist meme. But I do see a lot of LGBTQ and antiracist memes. And, if you’re worried about this, get your kids off the Internet.

Instead of focusing on this very real threat, Republican politicians—to justify Florida’s “Don’t Say Gay” law—have cited QAnon conspiracy theories about public schools being overrun by child predators who are “grooming” children to be gay. A spokesperson for Governor Ron DeSantis reframed the “Don’t Say Gay” bill as an “anti-grooming” bill. But if QAnon Republicans really cared about white children, then they would be worried about white-supremacist grooming. This is the grooming that parents of all children should be worried about.

Some things:

  • The bill is not called “Don’t Say Gay”. He invalidated his argument again.
  • Most Conservative and Republicans do not know what QAnon is. This term is a demonization of any Conservatives.
  • Kendi need to subscribe to Libs of TikTok on Twitter. These people are grooming children. They’re very open about it.
  • Don’t forget: a substantial number of teachers are leaving the Florida school systems because that can’t talk about their sex lives.

Grooming white kids—usually males—in white supremacy can involve inciting them to commit acts of physical and verbal violence. Against kids of color. Against girls. Against Jewish kids. Against Muslim kids. Against trans kids. Against queer kids. Against other white kids. Defending kids against white-supremacist grooming keeps all kids safe.

Experts know—and white supremacists know—which white kids are most vulnerable to grooming: kids seeking a sense of purpose, a sense of belonging; loners and excluded kids; and depressed kids. And depression among “white teens seems to be rising faster than among other groups,” Derek Thompson recently reported in The Atlantic.

Again, he references a far Left publication, The Atlantic.

I’m done with this article.

Other things he’s said:

“Instead of focusing on this very real threat, Republican politicians—to justify Florida’s ‘Don’t Say Gay’ law—have cited QAnon conspiracy theories about public schools being overrun by child predators who are ‘grooming’ children to be gay. A spokesperson for Governor Ron DeSantis reframed the ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill as an ‘anti-grooming’ bill. But if QAnon Republicans really cared about white children, then they would be worried about white-supremacist grooming. This is the grooming that parents of all children should be worried about.”

The article concluded:

“The Republican Party is not the party of parents raising white kids. The Republican Party is not the party of parents raising girls, raising trans kids, raising kids of color, raising queer kids, raising poor kids, raising immigrant kids. The Republican Party is making it harder for all of these kids to learn about themselves and their histories. The Republican Party is stripping parents and educators of their collective ability to protect vulnerable children from being indoctrinated by—or victimized by—the scourge of white supremacy.

“This Republican Party is not the party of any group of parents, but the party of white supremacy.”

This guy is a bozo. Good news: his philosophy is waning. In five years, he’s going to be irrelevant.

Episode 524 – White People Made the Dogs Eat People?

The Biden administration is going to fight this block on mask mandates to the death. There’s a reason why.

The squad is about to have a new member and she’s pretty. AOC, watch out!

And everything is racist!

They Just Refuse to Take the “L”

The Department of Justice has decided to appeal the decision by a federal judge to halt the mask mandates on public transportation.

The DOJ said in a statement:

“The Department of Justice and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) disagree with the district court’s decision and will appeal, subject to CDC’s conclusion that the order remains necessary for public health. The Department continues to believe that the order requiring masking in the transportation corridor is a valid exercise of the authority Congress has given CDC to protect the public health. That is an important authority the Department will continue to work to preserve.”

Some things:

  • This is a waste of time.
  • The mandates were only be for two more weeks.
  • The ruling was correct. The judge said that the CDC cannot do the job of Congress and that’s what happened.

The Biden administration, as unpopular as it is, could have made this into a winning proposition. He could have said, “Well, it is only for another week and a half so let’s just end it.” He would have been seen as a hero. But he can’t do that. In fact, watch, the lockdown will kick up again. The mandates, the vaccines, heck, maybe the lockdowns again. There are a couple of reasons for this.

The first is they are going to get killed in November and stealing the election could be the only way to limit the losses.

The second involves the government trying to create a new normal. A new normal where big government rules all. A world where oligarchs and media control the news and narrative. A world where we stop driving, stop eating meat and own nothing. A country where the government can confiscate your money and give it to other people. A country where your kids are wards of the government to be indoctrinated. Claus Schwab of the World Economic Forum excitedly wrote two books about this change occurring thanks to the China virus.

He wants this and Joe Biden supports it. I have told you none of this was an accident.

But there is good news: The new normal is being rejected. Not only in this country but all over the world. We are going to talk about this more in the coming months.

Speaking of Being Tone Deaf…

According to Fox News:

Pennsylvania candidate for the U.S. House has been open about her past as a part-time stripper in college and her decision to get an abortion when she was 18.

This, who is running for the Democratic nomination for a Philadelphia-area congressional district, has used her past to drive attention to her progressive campaign platform, including by starting an OnlyFans page for herself that is not associated with her campaign.

Some things:

  • This gal has made some very poor decisions in her life including killing a baby.
  • And, no, being pro-abortion is not being pro-life.
  • Abortions are done out of selfishness not “love”.
  • She’s till making bad decisions. She sells naked pictures of herself on OnlyFans, a porn site even though she got a masters degree in Public Health.
  • She is going to be another member of the squad. She is a Leftist on everything.

This is another Leftist idiot that has been molded by the education system. She will be embraced by the media because she’s pretty.

Can’t Get Out of Their Own Way

According to ABC 13 News:

While going through its library of content for films and shows to put on its streaming service, Disney has reportedly labeled a few of its beloved characters as “potentially problematic,” according to a report from the New York Times.

Tinkerbell and Captain Hook from the classic 1953 Disney animated movie “Peter Pan” reportedly fall under the category of characters who could possibly require a disclaimer on the Disney+ streaming service, as they could be seen as perpetuating negative stereotypes.

The whole New York Times article was about how Disney is being thrust into the culture war over Florida’s Don’t Say Gay bill and are being attacked by the far right. Yeah, I know. It’s the Parental Rights in Education bill. Disney was not “thrust” into anything, they jumped into the culture war. And the far right isn’t attacking them. It’s parents that don’t want their kids indoctrinated weird sex theories cancelling their Disney+ subscriptions and not going to Disneyland.

Anyway, Disney has the equity department called the Stories Matter team. On Disney’s website, the describe themselves like this:

Stories shape how we see ourselves and everyone around us. So as storytellers, we have the power and responsibility to not only uplift and inspire, but also consciously, purposefully and relentlessly champion the spectrum of voices and perspectives in our world.

As part of our ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusion, we are in the process of reviewing our library and adding advisories to content that includes negative depictions or mistreatment of people or cultures. Rather than removing this content, we see an opportunity to spark conversation and open dialogue on history that affects us all. We also want to acknowledge that some communities have been erased or forgotten altogether, and we’re committed to giving voice to their stories as well.

We can’t change the past, but we can acknowledge it, learn from it and move forward together to create a tomorrow that today can only dream of.

The Stories Matter Team is consulted by third-party organizations, such as the African American Film Critics Association, GLAAD Media Institute, and the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media, among various others.

In other words, these are professional worthless people that have to find something wrong in everything in order to justify their bloated salaries.

They found a few characters to be problematic:

  • Tinker Bell is jealous of Peter Pan’s attention toward Wendy, and because she is “body-conscious.”
  • Captain Hook, who famously has a prosthetic hook where his hand would be, was reportedly flagged because he exposes Disney to accusations of prejudice against disabled individuals due to his villainous nature.
  • Ursula the Sea Witch from Disney’s 1989 animated classic “The Little Mermaid.”
    • Ursula could come across as “queer-coded,” and therefore her flamboyant behavior is potentially homophobic.
    • Ursula is of dark complexion and of a darker, light-purplish skin tone, the villainess was also reportedly a potential target of critics who would see her as a possible racist depiction.
  • They already nailed a couple of movies:
    • In Aristocats, a cat with slanted eyes and buck teeth is noted by the team to be “a racist caricature of East Asian peoples.”
    • In Dumbo, a murder of crows who perform musical number is noted by the team to be an “homage to racist minstrel shows, where white performers with blackened faces and tattered clothing imitated and ridiculed enslaved Africans on Southern plantations.”
    • Peter Pan is also a recipient of the advisory warning, as the team says the animated film portrays Native Americans in a stereotypical manner.

Wokeness destroys everything. Even those that are woke.

Everything is Racist

According to Campus Reform:

The Animal Farm Foundation, a non-profit “dedicated to securing equal treatment and opportunity for ‘pit bull’ dogs and their owners”, has launched a new initiative to combat “exclusionary dog breed restrictions in the housing insurance industry.”

In its statement, the AFF cites the work of Ann Linder, a Legislative Policy Fellow with Harvard Law School’s Animal Law and Policy Program. According to her paper, “The Black Man’s Dog: The Social Context of Breed Specific Legislation”, pit bulls have been unfairly tied to “gang violence by urban youths, as well as the hip-hop music scene.”

Also referenced is the work of Emory University associate professor of philosophy, Erin Tarver. In her work “The Dangerous Individual(’s) Dog: Race, Criminality and the ‘Pit Bull’,” Tarver applies French philosopher Michel Focault’s notion of “the dangerous individual” to what she sees as modern racialized attitudes towards pit bulls and the “perceived threat to normative whiteness” such animals pose.

Despite accounting for just 6.5% of all dogs in the United States, pit bulls were responsible for 66% of total fatal dog attacks between 2005 and 2017.

That’s right! Pit Bull ownership needs to be controlled, not because they eat people, but because it is a symbol of racism.

The college’s student paper states:

“racialization, using this interspecies intersectionality to ‘identify troubling dynamics and inheritances…but also to disrupt what is a very common logic in animal advocacy, in which racism is simultaneously engaged and erased through appropriative and substitutive moves.’”

The article continues:

(Harlon) Weaver began his talk by stating that “stigma” aimed at “communities of color” posed a threat to pit bulls, stating that “tacit heteronormative whiteness” is not good for the dogs. According to him, America is “presenting injustices faced by pit bulls as like racism by appropriating the rhetoric and often the effects or emotions associated with race related social justice issues.”

As the event continued, Weaver argued that pit bulls tend to be put in shelters due to “pervasive racism and misogyny, a struggle to sustain a living wage and myriad other injustices”, according to the college’s newspaper.

So it’s not because pit bulls have a tendency to eat people, it’s all white people. OK.

Episode 523 – Do As I Say, Not As I Do

A judge puts a halt to masks on airplanes.

A Washington Post reporter doxes one of the best accounts on Twitter.

And a black face controversy hits and unlikely target.

It’s Over

A federal judge, Kathryn Mizelle, ruled that the federal mask mandate on all modes of travel is to be blocked. That includes planes and trains.

According to Newsweek:

Federal judge Kathryn Kimball Mizelle struck down the national mask mandate for transportation including airplanes and trains on Monday.

Mizelle, appointed by former President Donald Trump, ruled that the mandate exceeded the authority of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Her lengthy 59-page ruling also said the CDC failed to justify the mandate.

In her ruling, Mizelle said the only remedy is to void the mandate as it would be impossible to end it for only those who objected by filing the lawsuit, according to the Associated Press.

“Because our system does not permit agencies to act unlawfully even in pursuit of desirable ends, the court declares unlawful and vacates the mask mandate,” she wrote.

It is about time.

As you can imagine, people on planes were told they could remove their masks and there were nothing but cheers.

The Lib’s Reaction

Needless to say, the Left is blowing up about this. Not sure why. Well, I am.

Here is Jen Psaki lamenting the ruling:

This administration just doesn’t get it. They keep pushing unpopular policies that they don’t even believe in. Now, they are looking to waste time going to court to fight the ruling?

They keep going with recommending that people wear masks on planes anyway and people should ignore the ruling:

Guess what, most people are just ignoring their recommendation. Her recommendation also goes against science. Airplanes are very safe because of the filtration systems they have. There has et to be a super spreader event on an airplane.

The media is busy attacking the Trump-appointed judge that made the ruling. They are complaining Mizelle is not qualified to be a judge.

  • Rolling Stone ran with the headline, “Trump-Appointed Judge Deemed ‘Not Qualified’ by Bar Association Voids Mask Mandate on Planes, Other Travel.”
  • Newsweek said: “Trump’s nomination of Mizelle drew criticism from some in the legal community. At the time, the American Bar Association (ABA) wrote in a letter to Senators Lindsey Graham and Dianne Feinstein they determined she was “not qualified” for the position.”
  • Podcaster Brian Tyler said: “This is Kathryn Kimball Mizelle. She is a Federalist Society judge who worked for Clarence Thomas. The American Bar Association said she is unqualified to hold office, but Republicans confirmed her anyway after Trump, She just ruled the CDC can’t require masks on planes.”
  • Writer Charlotte Clymer said: “Since 1989, the American Bar Association has assessed federal judicial nominees for consideration by the Senate. Of the 1,400 or so nominees assessed, just 22 have been rated ‘not qualified. Kathryn Kimball Mizelle, who just struck down the flight mask mandate, is one of them.”

Mind you, Republicans pushed to have Mizelle on the court. Marco Rubio actually recommended her to Trump in a letter. Her real crime is she clerked for Conservative Supreme Court Justice, Clarence Thomas.

Blue checks on Twitter are also flipping out:

Some things:

  • The pandemic is over.
  • Democrats continue to go in the wrong direction. This is all going to come to a head in November.
  • The mixed messaging has created the paranoia.

This Is Just Evil

There is an awesome account on Twitter called the Libs of TikTok. Basically what she does is get videos of crazy-ass Leftists making jerks out of themselves. Her goal is simply to show how crazy these people are.

Here’s an example:

Mind you, she doesn’t even comment much on these videos. She just posts them and lets normal people make their own judgements. Hell, she doesn’t even need to comment on them.

To this point, she has remained anonymous. The reason is she is afraid of being cancelled. She knows this is a thing because Twitter suspended her account simply for saying men are men and not women. She has been interviewed a couple of times by Tucker Carlson but never reveled herself.

Well, the Leftists can’t have that. So they needed to find out who she is and have her cancelled. Taylor Lorenz of the Washington Post took it upon herself to find out who this gal is and she did.

In her article:

  • She gave her name.
  • Where she lived.
  • Her career.
  • How she was at the Stop the Steal event on January 6th.
  • How she’s an Orthodox Jew with some kids.
  • How she promoted right wing propaganda.
  • How she’s anti-trans.
  • How Libs of TikTok is affecting legislation including the Florida bill, Parental Rights in Education.
  • She accuses Libs of TikTok of “cancelling” teachers.
  • She accuses Libs of TikTok of doxing teachers and school board members.
  • She accuses Libs of TikTok of promoting death threats.

So this Lorenz hunts her down, goes to family members and doxes her. She’s doing exactly what she accuses Libs of TikTok of doing. I will go on a limb here, Libs of TikTok doesn’t dox.

The gal who runs the site says all is OK and she is safe. If anything happens to this woman, she should sue the crap out of Lorenz and the Washington Post.

What’s ironic is that Taylor Lorenz is known for being very much against doxing on the Internet of any kind. Listen:

Here she starts crying because of the harassment she gets on the Internet. She even said she suffers PTSD from all the harassment she gets. Here she is:

She is an evil sociopath and deserves everything she gets.

Oops

According to the New York Post:

Two local diversity advocates in Arizona are taking heat after calling a school district racist for hiring a DJ to perform in blackface — but it turns out the DJ was black.

Stuart Rhoden and Jill Lassen — who specialize in diversity, equity and inclusion — lambasted the Scottsdale Unified School District’s Hopi Elementary PTA for its decision to hire Kim Koko Hunter, 56, a local black DJ, at a charity event.

Both Rhoden and Lassen, who are involved in diversity work in the school district, slammed the school after seeing a picture of Hunter, only to later learn his race, according to the Arizona Daily Independent

Oops.

The problem with all these diversity and equity people is that they have to look for anything that might be wrong even if it’s not there to justify their jobs. I saw this when I worked.

Hunter did have a comment about this. He said:

“They thought that the DJ there or the person there was in a black face, and the person that they thought was in black face was me. Wait a minute, in their defense, how many chips in the ice cream did you see? They were probably thinking the same thing I am: Wow, there are no black people here.”

So there you go. The white people were racist after all, not the people who said he was in black face.

Episode 522 – Who Didn’t See This Coming?

Happy Easter! That means there needs to be some God-bashing in the news media and it took about a minute to find some.

What we knew was going to happen has happened in the prison system.

And Hollywood just doesn’t get it that no one likes woke movies.

Told You This Would Happen

According to the Daily Mirror:

Two inmates of a women only prison have fallen pregnant after having consensual sex with a transgender inmate, it has been reported.

The women are among 800 people, including 27 transwomen, being held at the Edna Mahan Correctional Facility in Clinton, New Jersey.

In a letter sent to US outlet NJ 105.5, an inmate claimed that one of the women, who is not eligible for parole until 2104, was five months pregnant.

The letter said that the inmates had a history of sex acts in public areas and had to be separated.

Demi Minor has claimed to be the person responsible for impregnating the two prisoners via a website Justice 4 Demi, which she is understood to help run from prison.

Some things:

  • The man, Demi Minor, I don’t know what his real name is, is sentenced to 30 years for manslaughter. That means he probably is in prison for murder.
  • He committed the murder when he was 16.
  • New Jersey prisons began housing transgender inmates who identify as women at women’s prisons last year following a lawsuit at the American Civil Liberties Union of New Jersey.
  • The lawsuit followed claims from a transgender woman who said she was abused at a male prison.
  • One woman, who is in prison for essentially life for murder, wrote a blog post called Freedom, Love, Pregnancy and Trauma about being in prison is traumatic and that she’s in love with this guy.
  • Oh, yeah, this gal has been disciplined several times for having sex with inmates in public which, surprisingly, is against prison rules.
  • Shae said: “Surprisingly I am three months pregnant and I conceived while incarcerated here at Edna Mahan Correctional Facility. Although Edna Mahan breeds a ‘pervasive culture of rape’, I WAS NOT RAPED, nor was I forced to do anything that I did not want to do. Despite it not being permitted I fell in love and had consensual sex with a woman who is trans. Consensual sex is a prohibited act in Edna Mahan.”
  • New Jersey’s policy does not require trans women inmates to undergo gender-reassignment surgery to be held in the facility.
  • NJ Police union President William Sullivan told NJ.com: “We opposed this policy change believing it would be detrimental to the general population of female inmates being housed at Edna Mahan and also bring added stress to our correctional police officers assigned to this institution.”
  • ACLU legal director Jeanne LoCicero has argued: “(It’s) in line with New Jersey’s strong anti-discrimination laws that prevent discrimination and harassment on the basis of gender identity.”

So let me get this straight: Not only does society have to pay to house two murderers (I don’t know who the other chick is), we have to pay for this guy’s transition surgery (which will cost hundreds of thousands of dollars) but now we have to pay for the two illegitimate kids this guy has fathered because he’s acting like a woman and he has the right to be in a women’s prison?

Makes sense to me.

Yeah, People Will Pay to See Those

According to the Daily Wire:

LGBT remakes of  the cult classic “Fight Club” and the romantic comedy favorite “My Best Friend’s Wedding” are in the works as Hollywood continues to inject woke culture into everything these days — apparently including classic movies.

Cindy Crawford’s model daughter, Kaia Gerber, will star in an upcoming film titled “Bottoms” that’s been described as a Lesbian version of the famed 1999 thriller starring Brad Pitt, Edward Norton and Jared Leto, reported Deadline magazine in a recent piece.

I need to ask you, does Hollywood make movies that have the goal to fail at the box office? I mean, look what they did to Ghostbusters.

I also want to point out that the theme of Fight Club is how men have lost their masculinity and creating the fight club allowed them to express their brute masculinity. In fact, the most powerful character in the movie was a woman. See the irony here? They are going to take the masculinity out of the movie where masculinity is the theme. How do you think that’s going to work out?

The Daily Wire continues:

And not to be outdone in the woke department, the outlet recently reported that Oscar-winning actress Ariana DeBose will star in a twist on the famed Julia Roberts romantic 1997 film “My Best Friend’s Wedding.” Only this time the movie will be told from the point of view of DeBose character who’s described as “a bisexual Latinx.”

The movie “Two and Only” is being executive produced by DeBose for Screen Gems with an original screenplay by Latina and LGBTQ+ writer Jen Rivas-DeLoose.

Yeah, that’s what my fiancé is going to watch on our Netflix and Chill night.

The wokesters just don’t get it. People just don’t care about any of this crap. Least of all women. Men may want to watch because of the lesbian thing. Let’s face it, most straight males love the thought of hot, half-naked chicks fighting. I’m pretty sure that’s not what the writers and producers of these films is going for.

Speaking of No One Buying This

According to Fox News:

The Biden administration this week rolled out a number of strategies across government agencies to promote racial equity and support “underserved communities” to fulfill an executive order from President Biden.

Biden signed an order on Inauguration Day directing agencies to “pursue a comprehensive approach to advancing equity for all, including people of color and others who have been historically underserved, marginalized, and adversely affected by persistent poverty and inequality.”

Here are the details:

  • More than 90 agencies, including all Cabinet departments, released their plans, outlining more than 300 strategies and action plans to make federal policies fairer.
  • The Department of Homeland Security released a plan that will focus on everything from naturalization, access to humanitarian protection, bidding on DHS contracts, countering all forms of terrorism and targeted violence, filing complaints and seeking redress in DHS programs and activities, airport screening and accessing Trusted Traveler Programs.
    • DHS vowed to “identify barriers that may impede access to naturalization among underserved communities” and remove those barriers to make the naturalization process easier.
    • DHS said it will “expand engagement” with small businesses that are owned by or that support “members of underserved communities.”
    • The department also said it would work to “expand gender-identification options” for certain traveler programs like TSA PreCheck.
  • The Pentagon announced it will seek to rearrange its supply chain in order to open up opportunities for underserved communities.
    •  It will also bolster a variety of programs aimed at assisting those same communities in the area of military bases, such as American Indian initiatives and environmental efforts.
    • They have changed the physical requirements necessary to join the military.
    • They have loosened their uniform and hair style requirements.
    • They are still fighting to get women to serve in combat.
  • Department of Labor is strengthening enforcement of wage and hour protections, while the Department of Housing and Urban Development is working to eliminate the racial gap in home ownership.
  • The Environmental Protection Agency said that it is developing a framework to evaluate the impacts of pollution on underserved communities and helping households with low incomes to weatherize their homes.
  • The Justice Department is improving language access to its programs to help people with limited English proficiency better report crimes, while the Interior Department is providing technical assistance to Native American tribes to help them apply for grants.

All this is so stupid and racist.

Of Course, This Had to Come Out

So, it’s Easter and Passover. It’s also Ramadan but I don’t think that’s relevant to this story because Muslims, for whatever reason, are immune from the religious persecution that Christians and Jews are put through. Like I said in the past, I lived with a Muslim family for a couple of years and they were very religious. Heck, they were as Conservative as I am and it was thanks to their religion.

Anyway, I expected to see some anti-Christian opinion pieces. But, to my surprise, I found one opinion piece go farther.

Here is an opinion piece by Shalom Auslander called In This Time of War, I Propose We Give Up God. Damn, God is one evil SOB!

Let’s get to it:

This weekend, Jews around the world will celebrate the holiday of Passover, the name of which comes from the story of God “passing over” the homes of our distant ancestors on his way to slaughter the first born sons of evil Egyptians. Our forefathers, the story goes, marked their doorposts with lamb’s blood in order to spare their own sons the awful fate of their enemies.

In this time of war and violence, of oppression and suffering, I propose we pass over something else:

God.

Two aspects of the Passover story have troubled me since I was first taught them long ago in an Orthodox yeshiva in Monsey, N.Y. I was 8 years old, and as the holiday approached, our rabbi commanded us to open our chumashim, or Old Testaments, to the Book of Exodus. To get us in the holiday spirit, he told us gruesome tales of torture and persecution.

“The Egyptians,” he told us, “used the corpses of Jewish slaves in their buildings.”

“You mean they used slaves to build their buildings,” I asked, “and the slaves died from work?”

“No,” said the rabbi. “They put the Jewish bodies into the walls and used them as bricks.”

My father was something of a handyman at the time, and this seemed to me a serious violation of basic building codes, not to mention a surefire way to lose a home sale.

“Is this brick?” the interested couple asks.

“No, no,” says the realtor. “That’s corpse.”

But just as troubling — even more so today in light of the brutal slaughter taking place in Ukraine — were the plagues themselves.

God, the rabbi said, struck all the Egyptians with his wrath, not just Pharaoh and his soldiers. Egyptians young and old, innocent and guilty, suffered locusts and frogs, hail and darkness, beasts running wild and water becoming blood. Mothers nursing their babies, the rabbi explained, found their breast milk had turned to blood.

“Yay!” my classmates cheered.

But Pharaoh, the story continues, still wouldn’t relinquish his slaves. Technically this was God’s fault as he “hardened Pharaoh’s heart,” but the issue of free will wouldn’t begin troubling me until my teens. And so God, in his mercy, started killing babies.

“Every firstborn son in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sits on the throne to the firstborn of the servant girl.” Exodus 11:5.

Surely, I wondered, there were some Egyptians who didn’t whip Jews, who didn’t have anything against Jews at all? Surely there were Egyptians horrified by slavery, Egyptians who disagreed with Pharaoh as often as we do with our own leaders?

“Everyone?” I asked the rabbi. “He struck everyone?”

“Everyone,” the rabbi said.

“Yay!” my classmates cheered.

God, it seems, paints with a wide brush. He paints with a roller. In Egypt, said our rabbi, he even killed first-born cattle. He killed cows. If he were mortal, the God of Jews, Christians and Muslims would be dragged to The Hague. And yet we praise him. We emulate him. We implore our children to be like him.

Perhaps now, as missiles rain down and the dead are discovered in mass graves, is a good time to stop emulating this hateful God. Perhaps we can stop extolling his brutality. Perhaps now is a good time to teach our children to pass over God — to be as unlike him as possible.

“And so God killed them all,” the rabbis and priests and imams can preach to their classrooms. “That was wrong, children.”

“God threw Adam out of Eden for eating an apple,” they can caution their students. “That’s called being heavy-handed, children.”

Cursing all women for eternity because of Eve’s choices?

“That’s called collective punishment, children,” they can warn the young. “Don’t do that.”

“Boo!” the children will jeer.

I was raised strictly Orthodox. Old school. Shtetl fabulous. Every year, at the beginning of the Seder, we welcome in the hungry and poor Jews who can’t afford to have a Seder themselves. It’s a wonderfully human gesture. A few short hours of God later, at the end of the Seder, we open the front door and call out to Him, “Pour out thy wrath upon the nations that did not know you!”

And God does. With plagues and floods, with fire and fury, on the young and old, the guilty and innocent.

And we humans, made in his image, do the same. With fixed-wing bombers and cluster bombs, with self-propelled mortars and thermobaric rocket launchers.

“Why did God kill the first-born cattle?” my rabbi said. “Because the Egyptians believed they were gods.”

Killing gods is an idea I can get behind.

This year, at the end of the Seder, let’s indeed throw our doors open — to strangers. To people who aren’t our own. To the terrifying them, to the evil others, those people who seem so different from us, those we think are our enemies or who think us theirs, but who, if they sat down around the table with us, we’d no doubt find despise the pharaohs of this world as much as we do, and who dream of the same damned thing as us all:

Peace.

Episode 521 – What We Could Learn From China

Elon Musk puts Twitter over a barrel.

It look like the United States is a social experiment and we are failing. We can learn something from China.

And calling the people from Disney groomers is really a charged accusation according to the Washington Post.

Let’s talk about it.

Freak Out!

Elon Musk is freaking the world out!

  • You remember last week, Elon Musk, owner of Tesla, bought 9.2% becoming the majority owner.
  • Twitter offered Musk a seat on the Board of Directors and Musk initially accepted.
  • But, right before the first board meeting, he declined the offer.
  • People were disappointed.
  • Turns out, he would not have the power for change that he wanted and he would not be able to buy any more stock.

Well, Mush id making a huge move. In a $43 billion move, Musk has decided to buy Twitter right out and make it private.

He sent a letter to the SEC declaring his intentions (which he posted on Twitter, of course) then sent a letter to Twitter. Here’s what he wrote:

Chairman of the Board,

I invested in Twitter as I believe in its potential to be the platform for free speech around the globe, and I believe free speech is a societal imperative for a functioning democracy.

However, since making my investment I now realize the company will neither thrive nor serve this societal imperative in its current form. Twitter needs to be transformed as a private company.

As a result, I am offering to buy 100% of Twitter for $54.20 per share in cash, a 54% premium over the day before I began investing in Twitter and a 38% premium over the day before my investment was publicly announced. My offer is my best and final offer and if it is not accepted, I would need to reconsider my position as a shareholder.

Twitter has extraordinary potential.  I will unlock it.

/S/ Elon Musk

So, basically, Twitter has a choice. Accept a very good offer and let Elon Musk own all of Twitter, fire everyone, make it private and open Twitter to everyone or he dumps his stocks and the Twitter stock craps the bed, killing anyone who invested in Twitter.

He basically has Twitter over a barrel.

Elon Musk is an American hero. He’d also create diversity in the social media space. He’d be the first African American owner of a social media company (Mush is South African.

We Are A Social Experiment

So, Hollywood has committed to putting LGBTQ-crap into the movies they want to show in the United States. One of the things that pundits point out is would they do this in countries that do not embrace the LGBTQ-crap?

Well, we have an answer.

According to Variety:

References to a gay relationship in “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore” were edited out of the movie by Warner Bros. for the film’s release in China. Only six seconds of the movie’s 142-minute runtime were removed. Dialogue that was edited out alluded to the romantic past between male characters Dumbledore (Jude Law) and Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen). “Harry Potter” author J.K. Rowling revealed Dumbledore was gay in 2009, but the movies had never explicitly referenced the character’s sexuality until this third “Fantastic Beasts” entry.

First off, I just don’t understand why JK Rowling did this in the first place. The Harry Potter series was made for kids and there was nothing about gay characters in the series until JK Rowley added it. I am a writer so she can do whatever she wants. I would want to.

I also don’t blame Warner Bros. China is a huge market. Now, I would never want my product in China. That’s the sin. But Warner Bros. has a commitment to their shareholders and China is a huge market. I would want all my movies there if I could ignore the unfair trade practices, the manipulations of weak countries for control, the suppression of their people, the overtaking and suppression of Hong Kong, the threats to Taiwan, the concentration camp and the genocide. So if I have to remove six seconds of my movie to please them, I would. I know you’re hearing from the right about how hypocritical and blah, blah, blah.

This is not a moment to piss on Warner Bros. This is a time to learn something. China says Warner Bros. can’t have their movie in China unless they take it out. How about if we do the same thing? I don’t mean the government bans movies, I mean we, as consumers just don’t go to the movies? If enough people just don’t go, the corporations will adapt to make money.

Remember that when your kid wants to buy that pair of Nikes.

Disney Is Grooming Kids

We talked about Disney and their need to spread gender ideology through their films. Of course, they’re getting killed right now. People are dropping their Disney+ subscriptions (PolitiFact says Disney lost 350,000 subscribers in the last two weeks), not going to Disney World and not buying their crap.

The media is going out of their way to protect Disney along two fronts: Disney is right to go against this bill and Conservatives are causing trouble.

In the Washington Post, a writer named Christine Emba wrote an opinion piece called M-I-C-K-E-Y: He’s a Groomer Too!

Let’s get on with it:

Psst. Have you heard? Mickey Mouse is a groomer.

So wrote American Conservative senior editor Rod Dreher, one of many on the far right who lately have wielded accusations of pedophilia and child sex abuse to slime opponents (real or cartoon) of Florida’s Parental Rights in Education law, more broadly known as the “don’t say gay” bill.

Way to start the article.

First off, I’m tired of everyone calling a Conservative someone who is on the “far right” like they are Nazis or something. He has a blog called The Conservative American. Rod Dreher is a Conservative. He has written about religion, politics, film, and culture in National Review and National Review OnlineThe Weekly StandardThe Wall Street JournalTouchstoneMen’s Health, the Los Angeles Times, and other publications. He’s hardly extreme.

Also, the reason the bill is “more broadly known as” the don’t say gay bill is because dumbasses like this pushed that name. Here’s something I heard which is true. It can also be called the “don’t say straight bill” because no one can teach K-3 sex.

This was part of an extended salvo: “About the term ‘groomers,’” Dreher later clarified, “it’s usually used to describe pedophiles who are preparing innocent kids for sexual exploitation. I think it is coming to have a somewhat broader meaning: an adult who wants to separate children from a normative sexual and gender identity, to inspire confusion in them, and to turn them against their parents and all the normative traditions and institutions in society.”

Um, that’s what it does.

Ostensibly, then, this reckless deployment of a highly charged accusation is meant to keep kids safe from sexual confusion and harm. But the “groomer” discourse isn’t really about safety. It’s about control. And it could end up doing much more harm than good.

The “groomer” talking point has been taken up by political spokespeopleFox News hosts and conservative celebrities, who have used the term to describe anyone from educators who let it slip that they have a same-sex partner to the Mouse himself. (Disney is under fire in conservative circles for having opposed Florida’s bill.) The suggestion is that by introducing — or simply being willing to introduce — children to questions of sexual orientation or gender identity, educators risk making young people more vulnerable to sexual predation or abuse. Indiscriminately labeling teachers “pedophiles” will help keep kids safe!

First off, 60% of Democrats think it’s weird to talk about sex and sexual identity with a five-year-old. I’m thinking it’s not only Conservatives that question the grooming of children. I also want to point out there is more sexual abuse of children in public schools than there was in the Catholic church. We don’t know who’s grooming for sex and who isn’t.

I also don’t want to hear anything from a Leftist about charging words and terms. The Left has been doing this forever. They changed the definition of racism. They loosely throw the term “phobia” around. They make up words. What’s ironic is she says Conservatives use the term “groomer” outside the standard definition (by the way, I don’t believe that. Groomer here is appropriate. More on that later) but, in the same article, she uses the super charged “don’t say gay bill”. And why? To control the narrative.

Of course, if conservatives really wanted to keep children safe from sexual predation, there is much they could do besides smear Mickey Mouse for occasionally sporting a pair of rainbow ears.

No, no, no. They are making films that normalize the trans and gay issues. They said they were doing that and they said they need to do it more. They admit they are sneaking it in. They’re doing a little more than wearing rainbow ears.

They might have spent more time closing the loopholes in Tennessee’s Republican-proposed “common-law marriage” bill that would have legalized child marriage (an amendment to address this oversight was added to the bill only this week, after progressive outcry). They might turn a more watchful eye toward members of their own party — Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz, for instance, is actually under investigation to determine whether he had sex with a minor and engaged in sex trafficking. (Gaetz has emphatically denied the allegations.) They could have vocally supported legislation like the Emergency Funding for Child Protection Act, which was meant to support programs to prevent child abuse and neglect during the covid-19 pandemic. (That bill was eventually folded into the American Rescue Plan, which didn’t receive a single Republican vote.)

Some things:

  • This is projection.
  • The Tennessee bill was an oversight. It was fixed then passed.
  • Matt Gaetz investigation started over a year ago. Notice, no one is talking about it anymore? That’s because the FBI isn’t investigating Gaetz. They are investigating the guy who accused Gaetz for blackmail.
  • I won’t even start with the American Rescue plan. The reason it costs $100 for two packs of bubble gum and a Coke is because of the American Rescue plan.

None of that is happening. Which indicates that this frenzy about “groomers” and pedophiles is not about children’s well-being. Rather, it’s being used to manipulate a narrative and to discipline companies, individuals and even kids themselves.

The “Mickey is a groomer” attack stems from the idea that the best way to punish Disney for not getting in line with the Florida law is to accuse the corporation of pedophilia. And the tossing around of highly charged phrases is meant to silence teachers and educators in a way that legislation never could, by equating certain teaching material with pornography and the teachers themselves (especially those openly LGBTQ) with sexual predation.

Some things:

  • To say that teachers and Disney should be talking about sex without parental permission is not in the best interest of the child.
  • I will go a step further, if these people feel the need to talk about sex with a 5-year-old, they are groomers, even if they don’t want to have sex with the child. They are prepping the child to think sex is natural at 5-years-old, leaving them open to a pedophile. That’s grooming.
  • I have read some of the material they were keeping in public school libraries. Oral sex, masturbation, sex toys and gay sex has been found in those books. With pictures.
  • kind of sounds like pornography.

As conservative pundit Jesse Kelly put it in a Twitter thread that was later deleted: “Call them groomers and pedophiles if they oppose it. Put THEM on the defensive. Make THEM afraid.” He continued: “You have the high ground. Use it to destroy your enemy.”

It’s a cynical exploitation of loaded language to make bad-faith attacks. It’s also a way for parents to control what their children hear, by making anything that they oppose — same-sex marriage, say, or gender fluidity — seem beyond the pale.

Is she kidding?

The Left uses loaded language on an hourly basis. She did it a couple of times in this article. I think I talked about this before.

Although I don’t agree with the tactic, I do have some sympathy for the motive. It’s understandable that parents want to be the ones who teach their children what to believe. It’s worth asking just how early children need to be exposed to certain information about sex, or whether certain gender ideologies need to be discussed in a kindergarten classroom. Yet taken to the extreme — and the equating of early sex education with “grooming” is certainly extreme — these valid questions disappear in a haze of QAnon-inflected invective.

She doesn’t have sympathy for the motive of parents. How do I know? She’s equating parents who like the Parental Rights in Education with QAnon members. She might as well call them Nazis.

I have to be honest with you, I don’t even know what QAnon is and I’m as Conservative as it gets.

By the way, is that “charged language?

Plus, parents aren’t always right. And being involved in curriculum formation and teaching, while a worthy goal, does not mean controlling it from the top down. Sooner or later, all children become their own people — or at least they should. And over-sheltering can leave kids more open to harm.

Parents may not be right. But they do have more of an interest in their kids than the teachers do, or the government for that matter. And I think if we’ve learned anything over the last year, or in our lifetimes, the government has also been wrong a lot of the time. The difference between a parent being wrong and the government being wrong is a parent will try to fix things. The government just doubles down.

This new vocabulary game might end up backfiring. The conservative movement’s insistence on brandishing hyperbolic language will make their complaints sound less credible, not more. And if everything is “grooming,” soon nothing will be — which means parents may find it harder to call out real instances of abuse and predation when they do occur.

In that scenario, Mickey won’t be the one who has lost.

At least she didn’t say that teacher’s aren’t teaching this stuff.

Episode 520 – When Are We Going to Discuss This?

Let’s talk about the mass shooting in New York.

The Soviet Socialist Republic of Santa Monica is losing their mail service because of their stupid policies.

And is there a line between you being fat or others being fatphobic.

A Mass Shooting in a Brooklyn Subway

What Happened?

Here’s what happened:

  • On a subway in Brooklyn, New York, a man put on a gas mask and pulled out two smoke cannisters and ignites them.
  • He says, “Oops, my bad,” and drops an axe on the floor.
  • He then pulls out a 9 mm Glock with three extended magazines.
  • He starts firing.
  • 10 people were shot and 19 others were injured.
  • The gun jammed and the gunman ran out of the train.
  • The gunman runs out of the train station and jumps into his white U-Haul van rented from Philadelphia.
  • He drives 10 miles and abandoned the vehicle.
  • The police find the vehicle and identify the “person of interest”, Frank R. James.
  • The police said the man was 5’5″ and a person with dark complexion.

Five of the shooting victims are in critical condition but all those injured are expected to survive. This whole thing could have been far more tragic if the shooter knew how to shoot and he had a gun that worked. Thank God for small miracles.

The Assumptions

Of course people of Twitter just assumed the guy who committed this crime. Let’s look at some:

Here’s another:

Here’s a third:

Finally:

The Suspect

Yesterday, James was considered a “person of interest”. Today, he is a suspect.

A description was release:

  • A male.
  • 5’5″ tall.
  • Dark complexion.
  • Heavy.
  • He is in his 50’s or 60’s.

Mind you, the authorities had a picture of him. Notice something is missing? Yep, his race. The Leftist media decided to kind of keep that little detail out of the conversation, even when James’ picture was released.

Turns out James has a lot of issues that will make the media start ignoring this story immediately.

First, he had mental health issues. In a second, you are going to hear it. This is going to be the narrative of the media. CNN is highlighting this point when he was arrested. They ignored the other part which seems kind of important. Him having a mental illness could be an issue for the Left. Of course, they were all screaming about gun control, but this guy should have never been able to own a gun because he’s crazy. He bought the gun in 2011 from a pawn shop.

And what is the second part? Listen to a couple of his social media videos and you tell me (caution, there is strong language):

That not enough? Here’s another:

How about one more:

This is the definition of racism, segregation and black supremacy.

This is something that needs to be talked about. This isn’t the first time this has happened. There is a lot of black supremacy out there and it is becoming more violent.

  • The Waukesha massacre.
  • The attempted assignation of a mayoral candidate in Minnesota.
  • The Black Hebrew Israelites attack.

But the media doesn’t want to talk about it. White supremacy isn’t a thing anymore. It was, in the past, but it has been condemned. But with this demonization of white people and the ignoring of black supremacists, we really need to talk about it. This stuff is not going to go away and, because the media ignores it, could only get worse and more frequent. It really is time to stop blaming guns on everything and call out why things are the way they are.

That’s What They Get

One of the most liberal cities in Southern California is getting what they deserve.

According to the Daily Wire:

Santa Monica Postmaster Marjorie Watson sent a letter to residents at the 1300 block of 14th Street in Santa Monica after several mail carriers were assaulted by an unknown individual.

The New York Post released a letter from the postmaster explaining the issue:

“This letter is to provide you notice that… delivery service is hereby suspended to all addresses located on the 1300 block of 14th Street, Santa Monica. This is unfortunate, but please be advised that the Postal Service does not enter into decisions to suspend service lightly. Multiple carriers have been subjected to assaults and threats of assault from an individual who has not been located or apprehended. The safety of our employees and of the mail they deliver to you is our highest concern. Until we can ensure the safety of both, delivery services will remain suspended.”

The actions comes from one publicized incident where a mail carrier was attacked by a resident with a broomstick. The carrier was slightly injured but never went to the hospital and didn’t press charges.

The Santa Monica Police Department said they never had any reports of a mail carrier being assaulted. When confronted about that, the postmaster said that he cannot discuss it and just continued on with the suspension of service.

The post office has a lot of reasons not to publicize attacks on mail carriers:

  • Could be political.
  • Could be the post office doesn’t want the bad press.
  • Could be for civil lawsuits (a coverup).
  • There could be union reasons.

But, to go to this extent as not to deliver mail, one has to think there is far more assaults of postal carriers than is being let on.

But, to make a bigger point, this shows you what happens when a city does not take crime seriously.

Another Example of Ignoring Reality

There is an article in the news site The Inquirer called To end fatphobia, we need to dismantle Western civilization, says Philly therapist by fat person and therapist Sonalee Rashatwar. This is something that is not as extreme as the trans thing or the CRT thing but it is being pushed in schools.

I remember making a comment about a heavy person running up a hill and I said she should keep chugging. This triggered something in Josie’s kid and she said, “That’s fatphobic”. Then, we got into a big debate.

The first three paragraphs of the article discuss how she got out of an abusive relationship and started counseling abused women. That’s all great, good for her. Than she goes to the dark side.

As the fat-positivity movement has gained momentum, so, too, have debates around how fat folks should lead healthy lives. Rashatwar, though, considers how sizeism is affected by racism, misogyny, classism, homophobia, transphobia, and ableism, and she counsels people against intentional weight loss.

Some things:

  • This is bad writing. The first three paragraphs had nothing to do with fat people and then she just jumps into this.
  • She also talks about “sizeism” as if it were as bad as racism.
  • “Sizeism” isn’t a thing. Obesity is. But she’s already trying to change reality.
  • She’s a crappy therapist if she’s trying to convince people not to lose weight.

Continuing:

She pointed to the work of the artist-activist Ashleigh Shackelford, who has written that wearing clothes from the boys’ section growing up, when many items for girls didn’t fit, altered how Shackelford experienced gender. Rashatwar, who noted that people may perceive feminine bodies as more masculine if they’re fat, feels similarly about her upbringing. Being big and being the eldest child, she said, made her feel less like a girl growing up.

Some things:

  • So we learn here she is big and she’s insecure about it.
  • We also learn that she has identity issues by the fact that she thinks she might be a boy.
  • But the main point here is made: It is not about how I am physically, it’s about how I feel.
  • She also talks about how she has a huge Instagram following where she spouts this crap. This is dangerous.

Continuing:

Rashatwar traces contemporary fatphobia to colonial brutality and how enslaved people were treated. Citing researcher-advocate Caleb Luna, Rashatwar said curing anti-fatness would mean dismantling society’s foundation: “I love to talk about undoing Western civilization because it’s just so romantic to me.”

Does this sound like a woman who’s is concerned with the physical well-being? Or does it sound like some nutty, Leftist, anti-American activist.

Trauma

“What some folks think is trauma is like the event itself that happened, like the car accident that I got into is the trauma. But that’s the event. What trauma is, is what gets stuck in my body. And the way that I react when I’m in a car in the future and it stops really quickly. That’s a trauma response.

“And so when we internalize fatphobia and we really, like, personalize a fat, traumatic experience, it can impact our sexuality by making it uncomfortable to receive a hug because we feel like, ‘The person hugging me is probably so repulsed by touching my body. Let’s just get the hug over with quickly.’

“Even though sometimes we’re starved for skin touch. Some of the fat clients that I work with, the only time when people touch their bodies is when they pay for a massage or when they’re paying for Reiki or some other kind of somatic body work. And that can feel devastating when that’s the only time that someone’s affectionately, lovingly, caringly touching your body.”

Some things:

  • Being heavy is not traumatic.
  • Going through experiences that normal people go through (skinny or fat) is not trauma.
  • It may hurt emotionally but it’s not trauma.
  • To me, to consider this trauma, this shows how week-willed and emotionally damaged this woman is.
  • I would say she needs counseling and to lose a few pounds.

Self-Worth and Sexual Interactions

“When we teach someone to experience shame based on your body, whether it’s about race, body size, disability, and we internalize that shame, we internalize this sense of our body having less self-worth than other bodies.

“When we internalize a low self-worth and our body having less value, we might be less likely to experience pleasure within a sexual relationship or to ask for the type of touch we want and don’t want within a romantic relationship. Or to be able to even stop a sexual encounter when we want it to stop.”

Some things:

  • Again, the see emotional weakness with this woman.
  • She also projects victimhood as a rape victim (which is sexism) with having a consensual sexual relationship. Does this sound normal?
  • I also want to point out that one way to experience sexual satisfaction is to be physically fit.

On Being an Instagram Therapist

“It’s super-overwhelming sometimes because with so many followers on Instagram, it feels like there’s a pressure to produce content all the time. And I feel like I need to be putting out something new and super profound. Like no one’s ever heard of this concept, every day. But I don’t do that because that’s so overwhelming. A lot of folks will reach out into my DMs and ask really personal questions.

“It’s also really gratifying. So when I post really, really political and radical content where I’m talking about like being anti-cop, anti-U.S. government, anti-military folks are like, ‘Whoa, I’ve never heard these ideas before.’ ”

This is why kids shouldn’t be on social media. That’s where this poison is spread.

Pushing for Better Health Access

“[An] almost universal collective fat traumatic experience is like going to the doctor, and how BMI and the body mass index scale is used universally to categorize and pathologize bodies based on fatness. One really important macro way that we would have to undo fatphobia would be to finally get rid of BMI, to not use it for insurance purposes. Because people who are of my BMI category and up are denied insurance coverage, are denied lifesaving procedures and medication, are denied gender affirmation surgery, are denied all kinds of things that we deserve access to — fertility treatments and IVF.

“That’s one really big macro way that I could think of. Because BMI has already been debunked.

Some things:

  • Obesity is a major cause of health issues including:
    • Heart disease.
    • Diabetes.
    • High blood pressure.
    • Stroke.
    • Gallbladder disease.
    • Joint problems such as osteoarthritis and musculoskeletal discomfort.
    • Breathing problems, such as asthma and sleep apnea.
    • Heck, it was considered a comorbidity for the China virus.
    • All this is from the CDC
  • Doctors are being made villains here for calling out obesity. Pointing out health problems is their job.
  • BMI is also still valid. It has not been debunked.
    • The CDC, the Mayo Clinic and other institutions still use it.
    • The link this article uses is not from WebMD.com. It was from a far Leftist site called fivethirtyeight.com.

The Fat Word

“I always respect the language that people want to use. Even when I’m working with a client, I’ll ask. I’ll say, ‘I’m comfortable with using the word fat, but if there’s another word that you’d like to use, I’d be more than happy to use that.’ And so sometimes, I have clients willing to use a word like fluffy, or curvy, or even plus-size. And that’s fine. I’m happy to use different language, but I will challenge and I will ask, What is it? Where are, like, the genetic memories attached to the charge of this word? Because the word itself doesn’t have to be emotionally charged. But there’s stuff there that we should explore together.”

I actually agree with her here. When I refer to myself, I say I’m fat. I would never use that word when I refer to someone else even when he’s not around. Not because of fatphobia but because it’s rude. I will usually refer to someone as “heavy” or “big”.

What I Think

This is another example of the Left ignoring science and reality their inner harmony. Or, as I like to say, their narcissism.

I’ll go a step further. This woman doesn’t like obese people. If she did, she’d want them to get healthier. She doesn’t. She wants them to continue living and unhealthy lifestyle, encouraging the obese not to lose weight, and die early.

Episode 519 – It’s Blasting So High, Inflation Should Have a Countdown

The new inflation numbers are out and it’s not looking good.

A very ugly story that shows the disintegration of our society.

And Ketengi Jackson Brown is a Supreme Court justice but the Washington Post is all butt-hurt about her treatment by Republicans.

The Disaster Continues

Jen Psaki tried to prepare us for the inflation numbers which came out today. Here she is:

Well, she right about everything except that Putin did all this.

The economy continues to be a disaster:

  • The consumer price index (CPI) leapt 8.5% from a year ago, according to Labor Department data released Tuesday.
  • Taking out food and energy, the CPI still increased by 6.5%.
  • The soaring inflation has not been seen since the late 1970s, when Carter was president, and the early ’80s, after Ronald Reagan took over.
  • CNBC reported: “Price increases came from many of the usual culprits.
    • Food rose 1% for the month and 8.8% over the year.
    • Energy prices were up 11% and 32% respectively,
    • While shelter cost, which make up about one-third of the CPI weighting, increased another 0.5% on the month, making the 12-month gain a blistering 5%.”
  • Just to be clear, inflation has been moving upward for the last year.
    • January 2021 — 1.4%
    • February — 1.7%
    • March — 2.6%
    • April — 4.2%
    • May — 5.0%
    • June — 5.4%
    • July — 5.4%
    • August — 5.3%
    • September — 5.4%
    • October — 6.2%
    • November — 6.8%
    • December — 7.0%
    • January 2022 — 7.5%
    • February — 7.9%
    • March — 8.5%
  • Putin attack Ukraine in February.
  • Gas prices went from $2.33 to $4.10 a gallon, up 43%.
  • Other costs that have risen since last year:
    • The cost of meat, poultry, fish and eggs is 13% higher since February 2021.
    • Fresh fruit has gone up 10.6% in price in that time.
    • Vegetables has remained much more stable, increasing just 4.3%.
    • The price of pre-packaged cereals and baked goods has increased 7.7%.

Where’s the Due Process with This Story?

This is a disgusting story.

According to the Washington Post:

After several unsuccessful attempts to conceive a baby through in vitro fertilization, a Massachusetts couple learned last year that they were expecting a baby girl, court records state.

Months into the pregnancy, their obstetrician recommended the mother undergo genetic testing to rule out abnormalities. The baby was okay, court records state, but the test results revealed something the couple never saw coming: There was a zero percent probability the couple — identified only as Jane and John Doe — were the biological parents.

Specialists at the New York Fertility Institute, which they had paid for the IVF procedure, repeatedly assured the couple that the test was not a problem and that they were, in fact, the biological parents, court records state.

The doctors first allegedly claimed the test was inaccurate before diagnosing the mother with a rare condition, saying her body contained two sets of DNA.

But the parents worried the test was accurate — that they weren’t the parents and that the clinic had transferred a stranger’s embryo into the woman’s uterus. Fearing the emotional toll of a potential custody battle once the baby was born, the couple chose to terminate the six-month pregnancy days before it would have been illegal to do so, according to court records.

Notice, they didn’t want a custody battle when they had the baby and they didn’t even know if it wasn’t their baby and instead of dealing with it, they just killed the baby just before the six month gestation time.

Now, the couple is suing the New York Fertility Institute, embryologist Michael Femi Obasaju, and fertility specialists Khalid Sultan and Majid Fateh for allegedly impregnating the mother-to-be with a stranger’s embryo. They also accuse the clinic of losing Jane Doe’s embryos and failing to disclose whether those were implanted into a stranger, potentially giving away their biological child, according to a lawsuit filed last month in the U.S. Southern District Court of New York.

In the lawsuit, the couple also alleges the clinic and all three doctors purposefully covered up that Obasaju “has a history of mistakenly implanting a stranger’s embryo into the wrong patient.”

“Each of these errors have caused Mr. and Ms. Doe incomprehensible physical and emotional pain and suffering and, ultimately, when the errors were discovered, led to a termination of Ms. Doe’s pregnancy,” the lawsuit states.

Oh, so these two are suffering pain both physically and emotionally. What about the six month old baby? A baby that can feel pain? A baby that could actually survive outside the womb (remember, the youngest baby born and survived is 19 weeks.

These two want to profit off the death of a baby. They don’t deserve to be parents.

This is Awesome

According to The Guardian:

By 11am on opening day at Portland’s The Sports Bra, billed as the world’s first sports bar showing only women’s sports, a bustling queue had already filled the sidewalk. While members of the Pride Cheerleading Association shook pompoms in the parking lot, dozens of women – fans and athletes alike – waited to grab a seat and reach a milestone together.

Just an FYI, the Pride Cheerleading Association is a tragedy for the bar. More on that is a pro-BLM, pro-LGBTQWXYZ;#@%^~ group. This could be tragic. More on that later.

“I actually got emotional and cried when I walked in,” said Leslie Melin, who sat at the bar with a signature cocktail. “I’m so proud to be here.”

I couldn’t find much on Leslie Melin. All I know is she works for Pacific University as an associate principle. Her expertise is planning and design architecture. Here’s a little hint about her: She puts her pronouns in her bio (she/her). I am losing hope for this bar.

The Sports Bra, which opened its doors in Oregon on 1 April, seeks to address a glaring gender imbalance in sports coverage. Although 40% of professional athletes are female, women’s sports make up only 4% of all sports media coverage, according to a Unesco study on gender equality.

Ugh! Unesco is a “United Nations laboratory of ideas”. What’s that? I have no idea. All I know it couldn’t have anything to say about the United States because the United Nation hates the United States.

By the way, did you know the United States paid $11 billion to be part of the United Nations?

“Our approach is to take that 4% that is showing and put it on blast,” said Jenny Nguyen, the bar’s founder and owner.

More from the article:

  • A $100K was raised for marketing to get the bar going.
  • Leah Hinkle, owner of the Oregon Ravens, an all female football team, said:

“Hardly anyone knows the history of women’s football. But equity isn’t just about divvying up screen time. Equity is about having what you need to succeed. Women’s sports need a movement and The Sports Bra is making a statement.”

    • There’s a reason. No one watches women’s football unless they are wearing bikinis. You know why? Women’s football sucks.

The article continues:

Yet for years, The Sports Bra would remain a running joke among Nguyen and her friends. Whenever they found themselves frustrated by the lack of representation of women’s sports, they’d return to the safe space in their imagination and curate a playlist of games and even menu ideas.

Eventually, as Nguyen faced a period of personal frustration marked by the Covid-19 pandemic and George Floyd’s murder, her girlfriend suggested she turn her dream of The Sports Bra into a reality.

Ugh. So a lesbian opened up a bar that is going to be woke. Such a tragedy.

OK, I have positive things and negative things to say about this. I’ll go through the positive first and then get into why this bar will fail.

The positive:

  • This is a great idea. It is filling a niche.
  • Their ideas are honorable and they are addressing something they feel strongly about. Good for them.
  • There will be women who go to the bar. Men like women so men will show up at the bar. It could make money.
  • This also shows the awesomeness of capitalism and innovation.

Here’s why it’s not going to work:

  • Nobody likes women’s sports. Have you ever been to a WNBA game? There are like 500 people there.
  • I like watching women’s soccer but that’s because I like watching soccer. In reality, it is like watching snails crawl across a table. It’s slow and boring.
  • They are woke. They support BLM and LGBTQ crap. Any white men who would show up (and there are a lot of them in Portland would be demonized. Especially if they’re straight and white.
  • By the way, most of Portland is white men.

Oh, Really…

The Washington Post released an article called KJB’s Confirmation Fight Shows How the Supreme Court Must Change by the Editorial Board. It is an incredibly twisted article.

“It is hard to find the words to express the depth of my gratitude,” soon-to-be Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson declared at the White House on Friday. Her gracious acknowledgment of her ascent to the nation’s highest court follows what, in today’s light, might be called a normal Senate confirmation. And that’s precisely the problem: Her 53-to-47 confirmation vote was an unjustifiable partisan slap at the nation’s first Black female Supreme Court justice — and a sign of how off the rails judicial confirmations have become.

Unlike in other recent confirmations, there were no questions regarding her character or temperament, and no procedural chicanery in the Senate. Judge Jackson’s ascension to the high court should have been free of controversy. Some Republicans concocted absurd smears about her record to justify opposing her; others acknowledged her qualifications but complained that she probably would not rule the way they preferred — which is not the standard that has traditionally been applied to nominees.

Some things:

  • Yes, there were questions about her qualifications.
  • She has been an activist throughout her career.
  • They asked her about her record on very light sentences for pedophiles and child rapists.
  • She couldn’t answer what a woman is. I hardly think she was free from controversy.
  • Republicans didn’t concoct anything. They quoted her.

This reflexive tendency by the opposition to deny a president a chance to fill judicial vacancies has become a new norm. And it is unlikely to end, absent intentional reforms. Easiest would be adjusting confirmation proceedings, such as Senate Judiciary Committee hearings. Rather than force nominees to endure marathon grilling sessions, senators could consider letting them answer questions over more days. Instead of allowing grandstanding lawmakers to attack nominees without limit or consequence, perhaps they should be confined to asking only questions that are relevant to the proceedings.

Some things:

  • Hmm, a reflexive tendency by the opposition to deny the president a chance to fill a vacancy?
  • Grandstanding by the opposition?
  • And who started this attacking of nominees.
    • Robert Bork was denied during the Reagan administration because he told the Senate how he would vote. He told the truth.
    • Clarence Thomas was accused, the evidence being an iffy story from a collogue, of being a sexual harasser.
    • Amy Coney Barratt was accused of belonging to a cult (she’s a Catholic) and being a racist for adopting two Haitian kids.
    • Brett Kavanaugh was accused of being a drunk, a rapist and arranging gang rape rings.
    • Do you remember Ruth Bader Ginsberg having to go through this? Do you remember Kentenji Brown Jackson going through this?

For a time, a group of centrist senators made a pact to vote as a bloc for all reasonable nominees, regardless of which president nominated them. Those few senators still interested in repairing the tattered confirmation process should resurrect this strategy.

A more enduring and effective change would be imposing term limits on federal judges, of perhaps 18 years, and spreading out vacancies so that each president gets to make a predictable number of appointments. This would dramatically reduce the stakes of any single Supreme Court pick and limit the element of chance when vacancies arise that could tip the court’s ideological balance.

Moreover, term limits would cut the pressure presidents feel to pick young ideologues for the court or to select only judges with similar pedigrees. More people of more varying experience would be considered to serve. Supreme Court precedent would be less likely to reflect the idiosyncratic preferences of one or two justices. And term limits would guard against justices experiencing mental decline on the bench.

I, 100% agree with this.

This idea is neither new nor without complications. Some scholars argue it would require a constitutional amendment. Safeguards would have to be crafted to prevent judges from timing their retirements to give presidents of their preferred parties extra picks. And rules might have to be drafted to prevent former judges from taking big paydays at private companies after leaving the court. But these challenges do not eliminate the reform’s appeal. What is clear is this: Things cannot continue on their current, corrosive trajectory.

This is true. The Founding Fathers did discuss this. It’s in the Federalist papers. But they also discussed putting term limits on everyone. But they decided against it because the President, Congress and the Supreme Court justices weren’t paid. It was believed back then that people would not want to become career politicians. George Washington didn’t seek a third term, which he would have easily won, because his business was suffering and he needed to get back to it.

But then Congress gave everyone a salary. Now, we have a mess.

Episode 518 – When the Narrative Crashes

What happens when a crisis goes against the narrative? Let’s talk about the Sacramento mass shooting.

Never Let a Good Crisis Go to Waste

A tragedy occurred in Sacramento, California last weekend. Of course, there is a narrative that could be wound around it by the Leftists. As usual, it is another story that was actually created by bad Leftist policy. Let’s take a look at it.

According to the The Sacramento Bee:

Six people were killed and 12 others were injured in a mass shooting in downtown Sacramento early Sunday, transforming a section of the city normally teeming with nightlife into a horrific crime scene of blood, shattered glass and grieving relatives. The death toll, and the number of wounded, made the bloodbath in the vicinity of 10th and K streets the worst mass shooting in Sacramento’s history.

Here’s what happened:

  • The shooting happened just after 2 a.m in an area with a bunch of dance clubs.
  • There was a a large fight that started among multiple people.
  • The suspects started shooting at each other.
  • The shootout took place in a 2 by 4 block radius, so this was a huge fight.
  • There were hundreds of rounds fired.
  • Here’s what the police didn’t know:
    • How many shooters there were.
    • Why the shooting took place.
    • Whether the shooting was targeted or indiscriminate.
    • Who the shooters were.

Needless to say, it is hard to really report on anything about this shooting or come up with any conclusions, right? It took 18 hours before police even removed the bodied because they had no idea what was happening. They were collecting videos from phones to get clues.

But this doesn’t stop the media from going off.

The Narrative.

The first narrative is that this was a mass shooting. This does fall under the definition of a mass shooting but most people think of one person who is pissed off at someone and then just starts shooting. This wasn’t the case here. At all.

Of course then the media spit out how there are 12,000 mass shootings in the United States this year. That’s an exaggeration. But they did say there were around 120 mass shootings. Of course, when you look at each of case, one one would shrug at whether or not that case would be a mass shooting. For example, a father got into a fight with his in laws, shot them (they survived) and then shot a police officer in the leg (he survived) and was arrested. This is considered a mass shooting. Gang violence, including drive-by shootings, is considered a mass shooing.

Why does this matter? Because there is a big difference between some nut job taking out 10 people versus a gang member  shooting at other gang members and hitting innocent people. With the nut job, it is hard to argue against gun control (sort of). With the gang member, no so much.

The media went off on gun control. President Biden said he is going to sign an executive order limiting ghost guns and magazine sizes. California is looking at implementing an additional 100 laws restricting guns. Mind you, California has some of the most strict rules on guns second only to New York.

CNN, MSNBC, the AP, New York Times, the Washington Post all had articles about how “gun violence” is a disease in this country. Even the Sacrament Kings head coach, Steve Kerr, said we need some “common sense” gun control. Of course, no one defines what “common sense” gun control is. My guess it’s banning all guns.

This is what they were talking about all Sunday and half of Monday. Then, it just stopped.

The Truth

The Post Millennial revealed:

On Tuesday, Sacramento police arrested 27-year-old Smiley Martin, who remains in the hospital for injuries he sustained during the shooting, and faces charges of possession of a machine gun and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.

  • Martin has a lengthy criminal record.
    • Robbery.
    • Carrying illegal firearms.
    • Lying to police.
    • Resisting arrest.
  • In 2017 he was given a 10 year sentence for beating his “girlfriend” within an inch of her life.
    • They were fighting and she ran out of the apartment they were in.
    • He followed her to the street and beat her.
    • She ran back into the apartment and followed.
    • In the apartment, he beat her again.
    • He dragged her by the hair and put her in his car and beat her again with a belt.
  • He applied for parole in 2021 and the parole board recommended he stay in prison because of his violent nature and he would offend again.
  • He was released a year later after serving only four years.
  • He was a gang member and got into some argument with rival gang members and that’s when the shooting started.

Oh, I forgot, he is black. Now do you see why the media stopped reporting this?

Now, let’s take a look at the shooting itself:

  • The people he was shooting at were black.
  • He was illegally carrying a gun (felons can’t carry firearms).
  • The gun was modified to make it an automatic. That’s illegal.
  • He was out on parole serving less than half of his sentence even though the parole board said he should stay in prison because he is violent and would commit more crimes.

The system failed in this one. Gun control would have done nothing to stop this. Instead of pointing to the real problem; which are gangs, crime and a loose justice system, it is better to just ignore it.

Do you know who knows that? Sacramento County District Attorney Anne Marie Schubert. She was on the Lawrence Jones’ show this weekend on Fox News and she had some really common sense things to say. She had written a letter to keep Smiley Martin in prison. Here’s what she said:

Do Something NOW!

Because of this crime in Sacramento, Democrats have been saying that ghost guns are the primary reason for gun violence. A ghost gun is defined as a gun that is put together from a kit and has no serial numbers. But there’s a problem. The government defines ghost guns as weapons with no traceable serial numbers. The government claims that there were 24,000 ghost guns recovered.

So what is the problem? The government considers a gun which had its serial number scraped off. In other words, a criminal makes a non-ghost gun into a ghost gun. That’s illegal. That report of 24,000 ghost guns doesn’t discuss the number of guns that were acquired and built from kits.

I also want to point out that California, where the “mass” shooting takes place, already the most restrictive gun control policies and requires the serialization of legally obtained kits to create a ghost gun.

This rule has been in the works for months, but the Left is getting impatient. Chuck Schumer said in a statement:

“It’s high time for a ghost gun exorcism before the proliferation peaks and before more people get hurt — or worse. My message is a simple one: No more waiting on these proposed federal rules.” Ghost guns are “too easy to build, too hard to trace and too dangerous to ignore.”

Do you notice the answer for everything to a Leftist is to take things away? Take away free speech. Take away our freedom to assemble. Take away our ability to go to church. Take away our money. Take away our businesses. Take away our guns (which is God-given and is used to protect all of the above).

Here’s what the rule is going to address:

  • Change the current definition of a firearm under federal law to include unfinished parts, like the frame of a handgun or the receiver of a long gun.
  • Require manufacturers and dealers who sell ghost gun parts to be licensed by the federal government and require federally licensed firearms dealers to add a serial number to any unserialized guns they plan to sell.
  • Require firearms dealers to run background checks before they sell ghost gun kits that contain parts needed to assemble a firearm.

There is some pushback.

  • Republicans are stating that Joe Biden cannot just create a rule limiting gun ownership. It’s a Congressional job and then even that is limited because of the second amendment.
  • Gun advocates plan to sue and will probably win to stop this.

Episode 517 – Cracker Jacks Solves the Problem

Texas is leading the fight against Biden open border policy and making some rather unique moves.

The House tries to pass a bill legalizing weed.

And the problem of equality for women has been solved.

Great Move

Texas is leading the fight against the Biden administration which plans to end Title 42 in May. Listen to the Texas governor Gregg Abbott and his plan to take care of business.

Some things:

  • This is brilliant. Make Washington D.C. into more of a crap hole than it already is.
  • Though Title 42 really is something that is going to have to end, Biden has:
    • Ended the Remain in Mexico policy.
    • Has been reassigning Border Patrol to other jobs, leaving the border undermanned.
    • He has also been demonizing the Border Patrol. Remember that little horse incident?
    • He has been letting illegal aliens stay in the country and has been letting them loose in states like Florida, Louisiana and Florida. Do you see a pattern?
  • Texas is also doing other things to secure the border.
    • Setting up safety inspection vehicles at the border to check for human trafficking. This will slow the traffic crossing the border.
    • Blockades are being deployed.
    • Razor wire is being deployed.
    • Boat blockades are being deployed in the Rio Grand river.

By the way, none of this is the state’s responsibility. Protecting the government is the responsibility of the federal government and they are failing. Or, if you think like I do that this is on purpose, than they are succeeding.

Be prepared for another crisis in June because a lot of these plans Texas is implementing aren’t working. We are now averaging 7000 a day crossing the border. That’s the highest it’s been this year.

Speaking of Encouraging Illegal Aliens

I’m sure Jen Psaki is counting the days to get out of her job. Peter Doocy just keeps wrecking her. I bet a dollar this gal swallows Prozac like it was M&Ms.

Here is Peter Doocy making Jen Psaki admit something quite revealing:

Huh?

The Biden administration is not giving illegal aliens “burner” phones. They’re not giving them Nokia brick cell phones. They are giving them Apple iPhones.

They say they are doing this because the location services allow the government to keep track of them. Yeah, of course, until their court date gets close and they throw away the cell phone. What a waste of money and what an incentive to come to the United States illegally.

But one thing she did say was that the smart phones had location services that can be monitored, they had facial recognition and voice recognition apps that could identify the individual on the other end. Does that sound familiar (hint: China)?

I’m not sure I’m comfortable with our government using this type of technology especially with how tyrannical our tech businesses are.

But No Cigarettes

Last week, the House of Representatives passed a bill that would make marijuana legalized across the nation.

  • The vote went 220-204 gaining a yay vote from some Republicans.
  • the bill would:
    • Take marijuana off of the list of controlled substances.
    • Add an 8% federal tax on purchases.
    • Allow some convictions on cannabis charges to be expunged.
    •  Press for sentencing reviews at the federal and state levels.
  • Regarding small business loans, the bill stated that the administrator of the Small Business Administration “shall establish and carry out a program, to be known as the ‘Cannabis Restorative Opportunity Program’, to provide loans and technical assistance…to assist small business concerns owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals that operate in eligible States or localities.”
  • It also stated that the administrator will create and operate a grant program called the “‘Equitable Licensing Grant Program,’ to provide any eligible State or locality funds to develop and implement equitable cannabis licensing programs that minimize barriers to cannabis licensing and employment for individuals adversely impacted by the War on Drugs…”
    • Basically, make it that criminal drug dealers can deal again legally.
  • The Washington Post reported: “It also would provide for the expungement of federal marijuana convictions dating to 1971 and bars the denial of federal public benefits or security clearances on the basis of marijuana offenses.”
    • It was illegal in 1971. The criminals knew what they were doing in 1971 was illegal. Why do they now get a pass?
    • I don’t want any stoner to have a security clearance.
  • Republicans who voted for the bill were Representatives Matt Gaetz (FL), Brian Mast (FL), and Tom McClintock (CA).
    • This isn’t that much a surprise. These guys are probably more libertarian in philosophy.
    • I’m surprised that only these three Republicans voted for it.
  • Democrats are framing the legislation as one that promotes “racial justice.”

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (CA) said:

“This landmark legislation is one of the most important criminal justice reform bills in recent history.”

Representative Barbara Lee (D-CA) said:

“Make no mistake: Yes, it is a racial justice bill. According to the ACLU, Black Americans are nearly four times more likely to be arrested for cannabis and related crimes than White Americans, despite equal rates of use. These arrests can have a detrimental impact on a person’s quality of life and can lead to difficulty finding employment, securing housing and accessing other benefits.”

Jerry Nadler said:

“(This bill) would set a new path forward and would begin to correct some of the injustices of the last 50 years. Whatever one’s views are on the use of marijuana for recreational or medicinal use, the policy of arrests, prosecution, and incarceration at the federal level has proven both unwise and unjust.”

Of course, Conservative Republicans who didn’t vote for the bill like to point out the problem. Rep. Jim Jordan said:

“The left will not let the Democrats do what needs to be done with the inflation problem, the energy problem, the illegal immigration problem on the southern border. So what do they do? They legalize drugs. Wow.”

He added, “This is wrong and everybody knows it. … Let’s focus on the things that matter.”

Of course he’s absolutely right. The good news is this is not going to get through the Senate which the House knows. So that kind of puts an exclamation point on Jordan’s point.

What I Think

I’m against drug legalization for a few reasons:

  • Drugs like pot, crack, even alcohol really serve no purpose in society if used for medicinal purposes.
    • I do believe pot had medicinal purposes and should be allowed to be prescribed by a real doctor.
    • Once a drug is legalized, it is impossible to make it illegal again. Cigarettes and alcohol are examples of this.
  • It makes society dumber and lazier. What happened in Colorado is an example of that.
  • There are a lot of misconceptions about pot.
    • It is a gateway drug.
    • It is addictive.
    • It is worse for people than cigarettes.
      • It contains more nicotine.
      • It burns hotter than cigarettes making it worse for the lungs.

According to WebMD, the side effects of long term pot smoking will lead to:

  • Altered brain development in younger people (age 25).
  • Lower IQ.
  • Less satisfaction and achievement.
  • Symptoms of chronic bronchitis, and increased rates of respiratory infections and pneumonia.
  • Chronic psychotic disorders, including schizophrenia, in people who are predisposed to them.
  • Experts have linked regular marijuana use to higher risks of anxiety and depression.
  • An increased heart rate for up to three hours after smoking, raising risks of heart attack.
  • Temporary hallucinations and paranoia.
  • It’s been linked to lung and testicular cancers.

This is what the pro-pot politicians aren’t telling you. But, like Jordan said, if they can keep us all stoned, we won’t see the crappy job they are doing and will be dumb enough to accept how crappy our country is becoming.

Like I  have said more than once, pot is Huxley’s soma from Brave New World.

Here’s Something Fun

We talked about Disney going woke and Oreo going woke. Well, Cracker Jacks has decided to go woke in the support a feminism.

According to the Daily Wire:

Cracker Jack will repackage its snacks in 5 special-edition bags featuring women of different races, to represent girls in sports. The bags will be on sale in professional ballparks around the country, and anyone who donates $5 or more to the Women’s Sports Foundation through the Cracker Jill website will receive a free bag. Frito-Lay pledged to donate $200,000 to the Women’s Sports Foundation to support gender equality in sports.

On their website, crackerjill.com, they stated:

“Sometimes all it takes to believe you can do something is to see someone who looks like you do it first. It is in this spirit that Cracker Jack Proudly Introduces Cracker Jill. A team of new faces, showing girls that they’re represented, even in our most iconic snacks.”

They also rewrote the words to Take Me Out to the Ballgame. I listened to it so you do to:

That did it! Women now have equal rights!

By the way, what is a woman? I got a feeling this might piss the trans community off.
