The F-15 pilots enabled a beacon when they ejected. The pilots were separated. One of the pilots was found right away at the foot of the mountain where the second pilot was found.
The second pilot climbed 7000 feet of that mountain, and hid in a crevice.
Iran put out a bounty on the pilots, knowing that they would be key to negotiations.
The Department of War created a perimeter of several kilometers around where the suspected the pilots to be. The killed any Iranians who broke that perimeter.

The Oscars are struggling to keep audiences glued to the screen. The 98th Academy Awards drew just 17.9 million viewers on ABC and Hulu. That’s down 9% from last year and marks the lowest audience since 2022.
The spectacle on stage did not translate into action on the remote. Fans seemed more interested in their phones than in the stars.

The California State Legislature has introduced a bill that would designate the Muslim holidays of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha as state-recognized holidays.
“Festival of Breaking the Fast,” marking the end of the month of Ramadan and its daily fasting.
Eid al-Adha is the Islamic “Festival of Sacrifice,” the second and generally larger of the two main Muslim holidays and the one associated with the Hajj pilgrimage.
The bill was officially introduced last month by Assemblyman Matt Haney and formally announced this week. If passed, California would become the second state in the country to recognize these holidays, after Washington.
Eid al-Fitr, or the “Festival of Breaking the Fast,” marks the end of Ramadan. Eid al-Adha, the “Festival of Sacrifice,” takes place about two months later and coincides with the end of Hajj, the annual Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca.
Under the proposed bill, public schools and community colleges in California could close in observance of the holidays, and they would be added to the list of required excused absences for students. State employees would be permitted to use eight hours of existing leave to observe them. The days would not, however, be designated as judicial holidays, meaning courts would remain open.
In a video announcement, Haney commented on the proposal with Muslim-inspired music playing in the background. The video began with him saying “Ramadan mubarak, everyone,” before arguing that Muslim students and workers in California are being “forced” to miss “one of the most holy days” for them.
“This is how we show, truly, that we are inclusive, that we value diversity, we celebrate diversity, and that our muslim neighbors, our friends, our colleagues, are fully included and able to celebrate without consequence the most holy day for them,” Haney said.
Heaney was joined by Bilal Mahmood, the first Muslim American supervisor in San Francisco. Mahmood said that the proposal “means a lot” to the thousands of Muslims in the city.
“With this Bill AB 2017, we will have Eid as a state holiday so they can see their values and their beliefs and their culture represented in ink,” Mahmood said.

Left-leaning members of the NYC Council are considering bizarre new legislation that aims to curb retail theft — by penalizing customers and business owners rather than criminals.
NYC supermarkets and pharmacies would be forced to impose a 15-item limit for customers using self-checkout lines, and have at least one employee assigned to every three of those lines, or face daily fines of at least $100.
“We’ve seen the consequences of removing workers from these spaces: increased retail theft, less oversight, fewer protections for both workers and customers, and generally decreased safety,” said Councilwoman Amanda Farias (D-Bronx) while introducing the legislation Tuesday.
“This bill is about protecting good jobs, supporting workers on the front lines and creating a more secure shopping environment for New Yorkers,” added Farias, contending the 15-item limit is to “maintain safety, accountability, and fairness in the checkout process.”
The legislation’s rollout comes on the heels of the Council’s far-left faction trying to drum up support for a separate bill backed by socialist Mayor Mamdani to increase the city’s hourly minimum wage from $17 to a nationwide-high of $30 — a plan business leaders warn would be a costly disaster for employers and likely cause NYC to lose many jobs.
Farias’ bill is already co-sponsored by four other Dems: Manhattan’s Gale Brewer and Harvey Epstein, Tiffany Cabán of Queens, and Shirley Aldebol of The Bronx.
However, critics such as Councilwoman Joann Ariola said those pushing the bill have their priorities wrong.

Canada is fast approaching its 100,000th death from Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID), a grim milestone that puts it way ahead of every other nation.
Health Canada reported that 76,475 Canadians had died under MAID as of December 31, 2024. New cases were arriving at roughly 45 per day, with 2024 alone recording 16,499 deaths. Even if approvals have steadied in recent months, the government’s own trajectory suggests the 100,000th death could come in early June, weeks before the 10th anniversary of Bill C-14, which first legalized doctor-assisted suicide.
“This spring, we’re about to hit our 100,000th individual,” said Canadian anti-MAID activist Kelsi Sheren on a podcast with British rapper Nzube Udezue, known as Zuby, according to the National Post. Sheren has tracked the milestone closely, warning that the country is approaching a six-figure tally in assisted deaths.
Canada legalized MAID in 2016, years after the Netherlands and Belgium, which began allowing assisted suicide in 2002 and 2003, respectively. Unlike Belgium, Canada does not yet permit assisted suicide for patients suffering solely from mental illness, a step planned for early 2027, but the pace of deaths isn’t slowing down.
Even as a later adopter, Canada’s MAID numbers have surged faster than any other jurisdiction. In 2020, assisted deaths jumped 36.8 percent from 5,461 to 7,451, then climbed another 34.8 percent to 9,842 the following year. If trends continue, Canada could surpass the combined totals of every other country with legal euthanasia in a single year.
New Zealand, comparatively, has recorded roughly 1,000 deaths since 2021, Spain 697 in its first three years, and Colombia 692 between 2015 and 2023. In the US, state-level assisted suicide has existed since 1998, with total deaths reaching 5,329 across all states by 2022.
Even in Europe, long-standing euthanasia programs have produced smaller totals. Switzerland tallied 8,738 deaths over 20 years, Belgium 33,647 over 21 years. Only the Netherlands reports a higher share of assisted deaths relative to total mortality—5.8 percent versus 5.1 percent for Canada—but the larger Canadian population means more individual lives lost: 16,499 in 2024 alone, compared with 9,958 in the Netherlands.
The Atlanta Hawks are apparently making the most out of International Women’s Month by teaming up with a famous strip club as part of their promotional “Magic City Monday” game on March 16.
The NBA team put out a release that stated the “Magic City Monday” game will honor one of Atlanta’s “iconic cultural institutions” with special food and a halftime performance by Atlanta great, T.I.
“The Hawks have worked with Magic City to bring the ‘best of’ the phenomena for fans in attendance at the award-winning State Farm Arena,” the statement read.
“We doin’ this one for the city… Magic City,” T.I. said.
The famous Atlanta strip club has been around since the ’80s and is known for more than just its strippers. Magic City is famous for its lemon pepper wings, which will be featured at the “Magic City Monday” game in a few weeks.

Not all NBA players are excited for this collab during a month that’s meant to celebrate women’s accomplishments. San Antonio Spurs center Luke Kornet penned an article asking Atlanta to cancel “Magic City Monday” theme night because he said the promotion doesn’t protect or esteem women and would reflect poorly on the NBA.

In the first malpractice verdict against providers of gender-affirming care for minors, a jury in New York State has awarded a woman $2 million in damages for a double mastectomy she received as a teenager that she said had left her disfigured.
The plaintiff, Fox Varian, 22, of Yorktown Heights, had accused her psychologist and the plastic surgeon who performed the operation of failing to obtain adequate consent about the risks before she agreed to undergo the procedure in 2019.
She also claimed that the providers had deviated from standard practices governing gender-related medical care.
Ms. Varian, who was 16 at the time of the surgery, was assigned female at birth but as a teenager identified as a man. She later came to regret the decision to transition and now identifies as a woman, an example of a process known as detransitioning.
The verdict, which was announced on Friday following a three-week trial in White Plains, was first reported by the Free Press.
Individuals who decide to detransition have often been cited by the Trump administration in its efforts to ban gender-affirming care for minors.
The Tongva tribe confirmed the “Bad Guy” singer’s $3 million home does sit on its “ancestral land,” after the 24-year-old used her Grammys acceptance speech to rail against ICE and insist that “no one is illegal on stolen land.”

President Trump is suing The Wall Street Journal for libel following a report on his alleged relationship with Jeffrey Epstein and has now called for the release of related grand jury testimony.
The House passed the GENIUS Act Thursday in a 308-122 vote, with more than 100 Democrats joining most Republicans to advance the legislation. The bill, which establishes the first federal regulatory framework for stablecoins, is expected to be signed into law as early as today at a White House ceremony.
A stablecoin is a type of cryptocurrency designed to maintain a stable value by pegging its price to an external reference asset, such as a fiat currency (like the U.S. dollar), a commodity (such as gold), or another financial instrument.
President Donald Trump has signed a bill enacting $9 billion in federal spending cuts, primarily targeting public broadcasting (including PBS and NPR) and foreign aid initiatives.
About $1.1 billion is eliminated for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which includes funding for PBS, NPR, and their affiliates.
Nearly $8 billion is cut from a range of foreign aid programs, primarily those operated by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
Vote margins: The House approved the bill 216–213, with all Democrats and two Republicans voting against it. The Senate passed its version 51–48, largely along party lines.
The Senate removed a proposed $400 million cut to the global PEPFAR AIDS program, softening the total from Trump’s original $9.4 billion proposal to $9 billion.

CBS will pull the plug on late-night comedian Stephen Colbert’s “The Late Show” next year in a “purely financial decision,” the network announced on Thursday.
Colbert’s late-night comedy news show will air its final episode in May 2026, according to a statement released by CBS. The announcement marked the end of a nearly 11-year run Colbert has had hosting “The Late Show,” which first began in 1993 under former host David Letterman.
The network said that it is scrapping “The Late Show” franchise and will not move on to another host after Colbert.
“We consider Stephen Colbert irreplaceable and will retire ‘THE LATE SHOW’ franchise at that time. We are proud that Stephen called CBS home. He and the broadcast will be remembered in the pantheon of greats that graced late night television,” CBS said in a statement.
“This is purely a financial decision against a challenging backdrop in late night. It is not related in any way to the show’s performance, content or other matters happening at Paramount,” it continued.

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard declassified documents Friday revealing that the Obama administration changed intelligence assessments after the 2016 election to create a narrative of Russian interference, despite earlier intelligence community findings that Russia “did not impact” the election through cyber activities.
The intelligence community concluded before the election that Russia was “probably not trying … to influence the election by using cyber means,” according to the declassified records obtained by Fox News. However, following Trump’s unexpected victory over Hillary Clinton, their tone appeared to have changed.
“On Dec 8, 2016, IC officials prepared an assessment for the President’s Daily Brief, finding that Russia ‘did not impact recent U.S. election results’ by conducting cyber attacks on infrastructure,” Gabbard wrote in a thread on X. “Before it could reach the President, it was abruptly pulled ‘based on new guidance.’ This key intelligence assessment was never published.”
The presidential brief prepared for President Obama on December 8, 2016, stated: “We assess that Russian and criminal actors did not impact recent US election results by conducting malicious cyber activities against election infrastructure,” noting that any Russian activities “probably were intended to cause psychological effects, such as undermining the credibility of the election process and candidates.”
The brief concluded that it was “highly unlikely” Russian interference “would have resulted in altering any state’s official vote result.”
“Criminal activity also failed to reach the scale and sophistication necessary to change election outcomes,” it stated.
The FBI raised immediate objections to the brief and requested that its publication be delayed until the bureau could address its concerns. Under then-Director James Comey, the FBI drafted a formal “dissent” to the original briefing.
Subsequently, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence postponed internal publication of the Presidential Daily Brief, citing “new guidance” as the reason for the delay.
Just one day later, on December 9, a meeting was called in the White House Situation Room to discuss Russian election interference with top officials, including then-CIA Director John Brennan, then-National Security Advisor Susan Rice, then-Secretary of State John Kerry, and then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch.
Following this meeting, then-Director of National Intelligence James Clapper threw out the old analysis and tasked intelligence leaders with crafting a new assessment “per the president’s request,” detailing “tools Moscow used and actions it took to influence the 2016 election.”
Gabbard revealed: “According to whistleblower emails shared with us today, we know Clapper and Brennan used the baseless discredited Steele Dossier as a source to push this false narrative in the intelligence assessment.”
Intelligence sources told Fox News the new report “was based on information that was known by those involved to be manufactured i.e. the Steele Dossier or deemed as not credible,” and the CIA had previously dismissed it as filled with “internet rumor[s].”
By January 6, 2017, a new Intelligence Community Assessment was released that “directly contradicted the IC assessments that were made throughout the previous six months,” the ODNI office told Fox News.
Intelligence officials told Fox News they consider the assessment to have been blatantly “politicized” after it “suppressed intelligence from before and after the election showing Russia lacked intent and capability to hack the 2016 election.”
“The information we are releasing today clearly shows there was a treasonous conspiracy in 2016 committed by officials at the highest level of our government,” Gabbard told Fox News. “Their goal was to subvert the will of the American people and enact what was essentially a years-long coup with the objective of trying to usurp the President from fulfilling the mandate bestowed upon him by the American people.”
“No matter how powerful, every person involved in this conspiracy must be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, to ensure nothing like this ever happens again,” Gabbard said. “The American people’s faith and trust in our democratic republic and therefore the future of our nation depends on it.”
Gabbard concluded: “As such, I am providing all documents to the Department of Justice to deliver the accountability that President Trump, his family, and the American people deserve.”

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers have been ordered to broaden the “single largest Mass Deportation Operation” in U.S. history, targeting “crime-ridden and dangerous” areas in large Democrat-led cities, President Donald Trump declared on Sunday.
The man accused of killing Minnesota House Democrat leader Melissa Hortman and her husband within the Twin Cities metropolitan area has been taken into custody, authorities said on Sunday evening.
A high-ranking state official told the Star Tribune that the suspect, identified as Vance Boelter (57), was apprehended in Sibley County. Police have since confirmed the development, much to the relief of people across Minnesota and the country.
Boelter, 57, has been charged with two counts of second degree murder and two counts of second degree attempted murder, according to a complaint reportedly unsealed after the arrest.
Officials said he left anti-Trump “No Kings” protest flyers in his vehicle and had a “manifesto” naming dozens of lawmakers and abortion providers.

On June 14, 2025, during a home game at Citi Field against the Tampa Bay Rays, the New York Mets displayed the Pride flag on their big screen during the playing of the U.S. national anthem. This display took place on Flag Day and during Pride Month, a period when many Major League Baseball (MLB) teams hold events and show support for the LGBTQ+ community124.

The parade went through the history of the U.S. Army from the Revolutionary War to modern times.
Each section of the parade showed the uniforms, weapons, and vehicles of the era.
During the presentation, a narrator explained the conflict of that era, what was happening in the United States, the weapons used and the vehicles used and why they were used. Soldiers marched in the uniforms of the time.
Each group that passed, Donald Trump stood up and saluted the soldiers.
At the end of the parade, Donald Trump swore in a few dozen soldiers who were entering the Army or were re-enlisting.

It was completely the opposite of what one would think a military parade would be. It was a pep rally. People were happy, the mood was electric. Even MSNBC had to admit it was an uplifting event and not dark and dystopian:
Over at MSNBC, they're almost SHOCKED the celebration of the U.S. Army's 250th birthday isn't "tense" and doesn't have "dark, malevolent energy."
We need more of this. I cannot wait to see what Trump is going to do next year when the United States turns 250 years old. He is the perfect guy to have as President.
We have been so busy with the election, other news has been put on the back burner. We have lost two major figures in our culture. Considering I made yesterdays podcast long, I think I’ll shorten this one up.
Rest in peace Sean Connery and Alex Trebek. Let’s go over their lives, their greatest moments and one of the greatest comedy sketches involving the two.

William Barr is starting an investigation into votes fraud and irregularities.
A new vaccine by Pzitzer has been found to eliminate 90% of the COVID virus. Trump is wondering why they waited until a week after the election to announce it. The Democrats are trying to take credit for it.
Fox News has lost all credibility along with the rest of the mainstream media.
Finally, something really interesting. Blaze TV’s Louder with Crowder, an Internet news source…sort of…beat CNN, Fox News and MSNBC on election night. Interesting. I think we talked about this the other day.

Sean Connery
His Life
Let’s take a look at the life of Sean Connery.
Was born Thomas Sean Connery on August 25, 1930 in Edinburgh, Scotland.
His mother Effie was a cleaning woman and his father Joseph was a factory worker and a lorry (truck) driver.
Connery’s first job was delivering milk.
At age 16, he joined the Royal Navy. He worked with an anti-aircraft team and was assigned to the HMS Formidable.
He was discharged at 19 for a medical for having an ulcer.
Afterwards, he returned to the co-op, then worked as, among other things, a lorry driver, a lifeguard at Portobello swimming baths, a labourer, an artist’s model for the Edinburgh College of Art, and after a suggestion by former Mr. Scotland, Archie Brennan, a coffin polisher.
Connery was a body builder. Rumors are that he won a tournament in 1953 but the records are sketchy.
In 1951, Connery started acting at King’s Theatre in a production of South Pacific.
In 1954, he starred in a few production in the theatre of London.
In 1957, he starred in his first film role in a movie called No Road Back.
In 1962, Sen Connery hit it big. He was selected to play James Bond.
Between 1962-1971 he played in Bond films: Dr. No, From Russia with Love, Goldfinger, Thunderball and You Only Live Twice.
He left the Bond series but returned for the movie Diamonds are Forever. His final Bond film was Never Say Never Again.
After Bond, he starred in Alfred Hitchcock’s movie Marnie. Hitchcock wanted Connery for North by Northwest and Notorious but Connery refused because he thought he might be typecast.
In 1987, Connery won his first and only Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in the movie The Untouchables.
In 2006,he received the American Film Institute’s Lifetime Achievement Award. There, he confirmed that he was retiring from acting saying, “Only idiots are now making films in Hollywood.”
Connery was married twice. His first wife was Diane Cilento (m. 1962; div. 1973) and his second wife Micheline Roquebrune (m. 1975). He has a son, Jason Connery.
Connery died in his sleep on October 31, 2020 in Nassau, Bahamas.
I did not see a lot of Sean Connery’s movies. I was never a James Bond fan. That’s OK, I am also not a Marvel or DC comic book movie fan and people think I’m nuts. But the movies I saw I loved. That includes The Untouchables, Hunt for the Red October and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
He was a first tier actor when he did The Untouchables where he won his one Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor (my favorite move). In the movie, Sean Connery plays Jimmy Malone, a policeman who has ethics and morality and will not take payments from the mob but does not have the courage to go after the mob on his own. When Eliot Ness says he wants to go after Al Capone but doesn’t understand how to do it. Malone knows and tells Ness that he is going to have to go beyond the law in order to accomplish his mission. By the end of the movie, Ness gets it and goes way beyond the law.
In a very powerful scene, Malone is shot and dying. When Ness finds him, Malone is not concerned with himself but with getting Ness the information he needs to capture an important Capone accomplice. In his last breath, Malone says, “What are you willing to do?” Malone was willing to go against his caution and give up his life to get Capone. Ness gets it and does what needs to be done, bloodying his hands.

Alex Trebek
The host of Jeopardy died last week. Let’s talk about his lift. I’m sure it’s going to be shorter than Sean Connery..
Trebek was born in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada, on July 22, 1940,
the son of George Edward Trebek (né Terebeychuk), a chef who had emigrated from Ukraine as a child, and Lucille Lagacé (born April 14, 1921), a Franco-Ontarian.
He grew up in a bilingual French-English household. Trebek’s first job was when he was 13; he was a bellhop at the hotel where his father worked as a chef.
Trebek graduated from the University of Ottawa with a degree in philosophy in 1961.
While a university student, he was a member of the English Debating Society. At the time, he was interested in a career in broadcast news.
Before completing his degree, Trebek began his career in 1961 working for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. According to Trebek, “I went to school in the mornings and worked at nights; I did everything, at one time replacing every announcer in every possible job.] He would eventually read the CBC national radio news and cover a wide range of special events for CBC Radio and CBC Television, including curling] and horse racing.
Trebek’s first hosting job was on a Canadian music program called Music Hop in 1963.
In 1966 he hosted a high school quiz show called Reach for the Top.
In 1973, Trebek moved to the United States and worked for NBC as host of a new game show, The Wizard of Odds.
A year later Trebek hosted the popular Merrill Heatter-Bob Quigley game show High Rollers, which had two incarnations on NBC (1974–76 and 1978–80) and an accompanying syndicated season (1975–76).
Trebek hosted the short-lived CBS game show Double Dare
For Merv Griffin, he shot two pilots for a revival of Jeopardy! when original host Art Fleming (a friend of Trebek’s) declined to return to the role owing to creative differences. This revival sold; Trebek began hosting it in 1984 and remained the host until his death. His final episode hosting Jeopardy! will air on Christmas Day 2020.
Trebek was married twice and has three children.
He died on November 8, 2020 of stage four pancreatic cancer, which he announced he had on air.
I have been watching Jeopardy since I was a kid. It was a favorite with my family. we actually used to keep our own scores (in our heads, of course). If someone got over $0, we were winners. That game was amazingly hard.
Trebek was a stoic, friendly sort. He came across quiet and reserved. He also came out kind of…arrogant. If someone gave a wrong answer, he could tear that person apart with a quip that seems like nothing but everyone knew was an insult. But his fatherly persona always softened the blow.

I know, I could have cut this down by a minute and a half by getting rid of the Final Jeopardy music but I thought it would bring back memories.
The next clip is probably the most touching clip in live television history. Trebek announced that he had stage four pancreatic cancer but he was going to beat it and continue doing the show. The news was devastating to a lot of people. A contestant named Dhruv Gaur had no chance of winning. He gave Alex a special message during his Final Jeopardy answer. Alex became very choked up. To this day, I still tear up over this. To be loved so much that someone will state it in the middle of a competition, even if he is going to lose, takes a lot of heart. This will be a moment that is celebrated in television history and it only cost $1995.
SNL Accidently Honors Two Great
In one of the greatest coincidences, Saturday Night Live offered the greatest honor to two great men that died within a week of each other. In the long running skit, Will Ferrell would play Alex Trebek and an assorted number of actors would play Sean Connery. In the skits, that were so popular SNL included a skit for their 40th Anniversary, Connery and Trebek hated each other. It was hysterical.
One of the things the skits made fun of was how dumb, either purposely of by accident, Sean Connery is. Watching this video from Austin Kellerman on YouTube, in a tribute to both men from the SNL skit.
The next recurring joke on these skits was the fun that Sean Connery made about his sexual escapes with Trebek’s mother. These were great, especially with Will Ferrell’s stoic response to Connery. Here is a montage from Alex Kellerman.
Finally, and probably the most hysterical, is when Connery would rearrange the words in the topics to create rather dirty topics. Trebek would, frustratingly, correct Connery with the actual topic. I have cleared out any disease in my lungs from any disease because I laughed so hard. This is also from Austin Kellerman.
Final Jeopardy was just as funny. I won’t play any of those because, for the most part, they were sight gags. But anytime Celebrity Jeopardy showed up on SNL, I watched. It really was a tribute to both of the cultural icons of our time.
Our culture lost a couple of icons over the last two weeks. We have been so busy with this election this election mess, we ignored this. I decided that we should talk about them.
