What we knew is happening is now happening. Joe Biden is officially the President-elect.
With his nomination, The headaches begin for Joe Biden.
And I wish a fond farewell to the best Attorney General I have known in my life.
We Knew This was Going to Happen
Joe Biden has won the Electoral College vote 302-232.
After Hawaii submits their vote, it will be 307-232.
So, there you have it. Joe Biden made a speech. Here’s a clip:
A few things out of this clip:
- He kept coughing.
- This was a huge mandate on Biden. Not true. Yes, he got the most votes in history. You know who was second? Donald Trump.
- He attacked Trump on going through the legal challenges. He’s trying to put in that this election was completely legit.
- He tried to make the Trump legal challenges that was made to disenfranchise citizens but admitted that he had the legal right to do so. Weird.
- He screamed about unity…again. It’s the same speech he always has had.
- He yelled about how we need to end the pandemic and get the economy. The pandemic was fixed by Trump already. Not sure how raising taxes is going to fix the economy.
- It was a bullshit speech. It was unnecessary.
But there were things that we absent from the speech:
- No mention of Hunter Biden. In fact, he ignored a question that was thrown out by Fox News.
- No mention of the Chinese infiltration of our government.
- No mention of Trump’s success of getting three vaccines created.
- No mention of any policy that he would implement.
- And no questions were allowed to be asked and, the one that was, was ignored.
It was a fluff speech. We can expect to see this for the next six months that Biden is President. A lot of rhetoric that was repeated in the past with no substance.

Oh, the Headaches
The Attorney General
A big post that Joe Biden has to fill is Attorney General. He has been left with four candidates that he is considering:
- Outgoing Alabama Senator Doug Jones.
- Governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo.
- Former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates.
- Former D.C. Court of Appeals Chief Judge Merrick Garland.
Supposedly, Andrew Cuomo was actually under heavy consideration. And that makes sense. He has an 80% popularity rate in New York, which is weird because his policies killed a little less that 40,000 during the China virus crisis. He’s aggressive, strong-willed and the brother of CNN host Chris Cuomo. He’s a media darling.
Problem with Andy is he likes chicks.
One of his former political advisors, Lindsey Boylan, Tweeted:
“Yes, @NYGovCuomo sexually harassed me for years. Many saw it, and watched. I could never anticipate what to expect: would I be grilled on my work (which was very good) or harassed about my looks. Or would it be both in the same conversation? This was the way for years.”
“Not knowing what to expect what’s the most upsetting part aside from knowing that no one would do a damn thing even when they saw it. No one. And I *know* I am not the only woman. I’m angry to be put in this situation at all. That because I am a woman, I can work hard my whole life to better myself and help others and yet still fall victim as countless women over generations have. Mostly silently. I hate that some men, like @NYGovCuomo abuse their power.”
Now, I always though Andrew Cuomo was full of shit. He runs one of the largest states in the country and yet has no political ambitions. During the pandemic, he was on television every day for two hours. He likes being in the spotlight. The AP reported:
“Cuomo has been asked in recent weeks about his interest in the attorney general spot. Just this week, he said in a public radio interview in New York, ‘I have no intention to run for president or vice president, or go to the administration.’ But he said the attorney general job ‘is really critical, especially now.’”
Hmm, why? He’s a politician.
Well, he has also lied about his performance during the COVID crisis. Apparently he lied about the number of COVID deaths based on the number of old people that were sent back into nursing homes when they tested COVID-positive.
He also has interfered with internal investigation of his policies and conduct. This was reported by the New York Times.
Cuomo responded to the Tweet:
“Yeah, I heard about the tweet and what it said about comments that I had made and it’s not true. Look, I fought for and I believe a woman has the right to come forward and express her opinion and express issues and concerns that she has, but it’s just not true.”
Not a really strong answer. But the media is ignoring it. They keep saying there is no proof of the harassment. Unlike all the proof they had with Brett Kavanaugh. The Cuomo confirmation hearing would be hysterical but I doubt it’s going to happen. I think that’s done.
Merrick Garland would be Biden’s best choice but he would also be a good choice for a Supreme Court Justice. Thomas and Breyer may retire soon and he would have no issue getting confirmed. I also am not so sure he would have Biden’s back if the shit hit the fan.
Sally Yates meets the call. She’s a Leftist. She’s a woman. She fought Trump until he fired her. She’ll get the nod.
Pissing Off the Base Ain’t a Thing
Joe Biden had a virtual conclave with seven civil rights activists and their groups last week. It included Al Shapton and Cedric Benson.
But someone was missing. But who? Black Lives Matter leadership Tweeted:
Oops.
Politico did not help. They reported:
Civil rights leaders said the wide-ranging discussion was set for an hour but lasted about an hour and 45 minutes, with topics including the racial wealth gap, the diversity of Biden’s Cabinet and sub-Cabinet appointments, avoiding double standards with Black appointees, restoring the Justice Department and other agencies, police and criminal justice reform, voting rights, judges and more.
The conversation was centered on racial justice and equity – racial equity is among the four pillars Biden laid out as top priorities on his transition website. Race was also a key issue in the presidential election, as Americans all over the country took to the streets to protest racial injustice amid a pandemic that has disproportionately affected Black and brown communities. Plus, Black voters not only saved Biden’s presidential primary campaign but also helped elevate him to the White House in November.
Actually this is not true. Black and Hispanic voters voted for Trump in large numbers. It was white men that went down. But the narrative is more important than the truth.
BLM leadership responded:
“To set up a meeting with civil rights leaders, without BLM, is unacceptable. We deserve a seat at the table.”
BLM has requested to see Biden and Harris 30 days ago. The released a Tweet stating they still did not have a meeting with them. They feel like the “deserve something for their vote.”
This is not going away for Biden. BLM is going to be a pain for him. So much fun.
It’s About the Skin Color Stupid
What annoys me is when someone’s skin color means more than someone’s qualifications. And not everything is “historic.”
A drive urging Joe Biden to appoint a Native American to lead the U.S. Department of Interior is reportedly accelerating following his campaign pledge to “ensure tribes have a seat at the table at the highest levels of the federal government.”
Listen to this stupid PSA to get Rep. Deb Haaland (D-N.M.) into the Department of the Interior:
Ugh. I am so sick and tired of everyone being a victim. Just because her skin is red doesn’t mean she is qualified to be Secretary of the Interior. And if she thinks that world is going to end because of the evil white man is destroying the environment, she’s not qualified.
Here’s a little secret. Well, a couple of little secrets:
- The Native Americans were not purveyors of peace and love. A bunch of tribes were aggressive and warring.
- The Europeans did eliminate 75% of the population. But the Indians killed 35% of the settlers. This is called war.
- Small Indian tribes joined with the Europeans to destroy larger more aggressive tribes. That includes the Aztecs and Incas, who were brutal.
- They were not embracing of the environment. The Aztecs destroyed their environment when they weren’t sacrificing those they grabbed from raids or enslaved the rest.
- The Europeans did not commit mass genocide against the Native Americans. They brought diseases which is not a shock in the 15th century. And the Indians already had diseases here that was decimating their populations including syphilize, herpes, dysentery and tuberculosis. They had disease before Europeans got here.
The shit we are being fed is Howard Zinn type history. And it’s crap. The Native Americans are not what they have been made out to be. They were no different than any other “civilization”. Accept they didn’t have any domesticated animals, the wheel or the technology to grow food.
We are going to talk about this on a Sunday special as I go through the real history of the United States. Columbus was flawed but not a bad guy. The Indians were not the bastion of peace and love and the buffalo.

We’re Going to Miss You
William Barr has resigned from Attorney General. This is not a shock. He was not fired. He is leaving because his job is pretty much done.
President Trump Tweeted:
“Just had a very nice meeting with Attorney General Bill Barr at the White House. Our relationship has been a very good one, he has done an outstanding job!”
“As per letter, Bill will be leaving just before Christmas to spend the holidays with his family. Deputy Attorney General Jeff Rosen, an outstanding person, will become Acting Attorney General. Highly respected Richard Donoghue will be taking over the duties of Deputy Attorney General. Thank you to all!”
In a letter, Barr wrote:
“I appreciate the opportunity to update you this afternoon on the Department’s review of the voter fraud allegations in the 2020 election and how these allegations will continue to be pursued,” Barr wrote in a letter. “At a time when the country is so deeply divided, it is incumbent on all levels of government, and all agencies acting within their purview, to do all we can to assure the integrity of elections and promote public confidence in their outcome.”
“I am greatly honored that you called on me to serve your Administration and the American people once again as Attorney General,” Barr continued. “I am proud to have played a role in the many successes and unprecedented achievements you have delivered for the American people. Your record is all the more historic because you accomplished it in the face of relentless, implacable resistance. Your 2016 victory speech in which you reached out to your opponents and called for working together for the benefit of the American people was immediately met be a partisan onslaught against you in which no tactic, no matter how abusive and deceitful, was out of bounds. The nadir of this campaign was the effort to cripple, if not oust, your Administration with frenzied and baseless accusations of collusion with Russia.”
“Few could have weathered these attacks, much less forge ahead with a positive program for the country,” Barr continued. “You built the strongest and most resilient economy in American history — one that has brought unprecedented progress to those previously left out. You have restored American military strength. By brokering historic peace deals in the Mideast you have achieved what most thought impossible. You have curbed illegal immigration and enhanced the security of our nation’s borders. You have advanced the rule of law by appointing a record number of judges committed to constitutional principles. With Operation Warp Speed, you delivered a vaccine for coronavirus on a schedule no one thought conceivable — a feat that will undoubtedly save millions of lives.”
“Wishing you, Melania, and your family a Merry Christmas and a Blessed Holiday Season. God Bless.”
Just a class guy in a difficult position. Probably one of the best Attorney Generals I have see in my lifetime.
