The Democratic Congress can’t help but spend tons of money but why are Republicans helping them.
Students at a prominent New York college go on strike because the want A’s.
And I hope you have a Merry Christmas, but leave the ornaments alone!
What a Waste of Money
One thing that someone can know, if Republicans and Democrats pass a bill, it is going to be a bad bill. On Monday, the Senate released their omnibus package that will make it the government can stay open for the next year. The bill will cost a whopping $1.7 trillion. The bill is over 4000 pages long and has more pork than a Christmas ham from Costco. They are pushing this bill because, if something isn’t passed, the government could shut down.
The bill has a lot of crap in it. Like:
- “$1.2 million for ‘LGBTQIA+ Pride Centers’.
- $1.2 million for ‘services for DACA recipients’ (aka helping illegal aliens with taxpayer funds) at San Diego Community College.
- $477k for the Equity Institute in RI to indoctrinate teachers with ‘antiracism virtual labs.’
- $1 million for Zora’s House in Ohio, a ‘coworking and community space’ for ‘women and gender-expansive people of color.’
- $3 million for the American LGBTQ+ Museum in New York City.
- $3.6 million for a Michelle Obama Trail in Georgia.”
- New York’s state capital is set to receive three-quarters of a million dollars for “LGBT and Gender Non-Conforming housing.”
- Baltimore will rake in a cool $2 million for a wax museum dedicated to African Americans, tentatively named “Great Blacks in Wax.”
- New York will get over $800,000 for an “LGBT center.”
- An additional $750,000 is earmarked for the “TransLatin@ Coalition” in Los Angeles, which is supposed to create “workforce development programs and supportive services for Transgender and Gender nonconforming and Intersex immigrant women.”
Rand Paul, who is very hawkish when it comes to spending money like this, had some stern words for the leadership.
I brought along the 1.7 trillion, 4,000+ page Pelosi-Schumer omnibus spending bill that's being fast-tracked through the Senate. This process stinks. It's an abomination. It's a no good rotten way to run government. We're standing up and saying NO. pic.twitter.com/Wom6xKEeQh

This is why Republicans lose all the time. They have no center. They have no belief system. They are not Conservatives like the Democrats are Leftists. Would the Democrats actually go along with Republicans like the Republicans go along with Democrats? Republicans have no ideology. They’re all over the map when it comes to their beliefs. Mitch McConnell is the epitome of this. He’s a good politicians but he’s no Conservative.
This is the second pork bill Republicans are supporting, giving Joe Biden a “win”.

How About Expel Them Instead?
According to Fox News:
Students at an elite, private university in New York City are occupying a campus building with the demand that all be given A grades.
The original reason for The New School occupation, which began on December 8, was to support striking faculty members who were lobbying for higher wages and better health care.
Though the faculty strike has since been resolved, a letter of demands now calls for A grades for all students. It says in part: “We demand that every student receives a final course grade of A as well as the removal of I/Z grades for the Fall 2022 semester.” The letter insisted, “Attendance shall have no bearing on course grade.” (According to the New School’s website, an “I” grade is a “temporary incomplete” and a “z” grade is an “unofficial withdrawal.”)
The letter also states that occupying students demand a refund “for the loss of instructional time due to the strike” and that “this tuition refund will be proportional to the duration of the semester during which the strike is in effect.”
Students are also calling for the resignations of the school’s president, provost, vice president and the disbandment of the Board of Trustees. Other demands include a tuition freeze from 2023 to 2028. As reported by The Daily Caller, students are also demanding for the university president’s house “be treated as a communal property.”
Assistant Vice President of Communications and Public Affairs Amy Malsin commented to Fox News Digital on the unfolding situation: “The university supports peaceful free expression by our students, and we are listening closely to all of our students’ concerns.”
She indicated that “faculty retain autonomy about how to conduct and grade their courses.”
There are approximately 10,000 students at New School. Tuition is $26,854 a semester or $51,900 for a full year.
Our schools have a problem understanding something. First, kids in schools are stupid. You should not take them seriously. They want to protest, fine. But they should not get what they want especially when what they want is stupid.
Second, these demands are stupid. What is the point of going to college if everyone gets the same grade? How valuable is that education when you try to get a job? And why do people, who didn’t even show up to class deserve an A? They didn’t bother to show up to class.
Why do they need tuition back? They didn’t miss any classes because the janitor didn’t show up to work. Hell, half of them don’t even pay for their education.
As far as turning the dean mansion into a communal property, good luck with that. This is just communist crap that these kids are learning in the classroom. If I were a parent and paying for this crap, I would get these kids out of school and make them gets jobs or go to a trade school. It is obvious these kids aren’t learning anything.

Who’d of Thunk It
Back in 2020, Portland passed a law that would allow people to carry a certain amount of hard drugs for personal use. I talked about this back then and said it should not be surprising that the city would go to crap. Critics in Portland, which see that drugs were already a problem, also said this was going to be a disaster.
We were all right:
- They never set up homeless shelters until well after the law was passed.
- Only 1% of drug citations, carry too much drugs, have been convicted. Fueling more drugs.
- The city never passed grants for drug recovery or overdose prevention.
- Drug trafficking has gone up as there are open air drug marts.
- Overdose deaths have raised to 27%, among the highest in the country.
- That’s up from last year (24%).
- Imagine a quarter of your population is dying of drug overdoses.
- Homelessness and mental illness are through the roof.
- Property crime has gone way up. That includes:
- Petty theft.
- Car prowling.
- Burglary.
- Murder has gone way up.
- Prior to 2020, the average homicides in Portland was 28.
- In 2021, there was a record 90 homicides.
- So far in 2022, they are at 90 homicides with a couple of weeks left.
I have always believed in the slippery slope of drug legalization. I don’t believe pot should be legal except for legitimate medicinal purposes. It is a short fall before the hard drugs like meth, cocaine and heroin become legal. These blue cities only worry about the drug addicts and the criminals. They don’t care about the functional population. The government doesn’t care about their quality of life. In San Francisco, it is only a ticket if you break into a car. Surprisingly, people who get these tickets don’t pay their fines nor do they pay for the damage they create. You’re just crap out of luck.
And the Leftists cities like Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Portland and Washington DC wonder why everyone is leaving their cities.

The War on Christmas Has Begun
The Washington Post released an op-ed called The War on “Happy Holidays” Isn’t About Christmas by Kate Cohen. Now, to be clear, her title and her wording would not agree. This story is about cancelling Christmas. Just because she uses some woke words in the right places (and I’m going to tell you she didn’t put the right words in the right places).
So let’s get to it:
When I wish strangers “Happy Holidays” instead of “Merry Christmas,” it’s a battle cry.
I’m not waging a war on Christmas. I like Christmas. But I am declaring my allegiance to one idea of America that opposes another: inclusive vs. exclusive.
Opponents declared it, rather, “a sort of twisted anti-Christmas celebration” that threatened the city and the children. Speaker after speaker denounced the festival as a perversion of a holiday that was supposed to honor Jesus Christ, not the devilish Krampus.
The winter solstice is a pagan celebration. It’s celebrated by the witches to this day.
The Krampus is actually part of the Santa Clause story. We are taught that if your bad, you get a lump of coal. In Germany, if you’re bad, Santa doesn’t visit you. Krampus does. Santa is considered a low-level angel or cherub. Krampus is considered Santa’s opposite, a demon.
By the way, is it so bad to remember that Christmas is about Jesus Christ? It’s in the word: Christ-mas.
Toward the end of the public comment period, a lone voice politely ventured, “I’m not sure that it’s the City Council’s job to enforce Christianity,” and offered advice for citizens offended by the Festival of Yule: “If you don’t agree with it, you don’t have to show up.”
Everyone ignored this suggestion. Clearly the problem wasn’t that they would be forced to attend or even that the festival replaced the traditional Christian one; the 12th annual It’s a Dickens Christmas Y’all would occur the following week. The problem was the very idea of inclusion.
A similar dynamic was at work in August, when Cracker Barrel added plant-based sausage to its menu, sparking outrage among patrons furious that the restaurant chain would no longer be serving pork.
Oops, no, I got that wrong — the pork was staying. The issue was that among the 11 “meat options” would be a single choice for people who don’t eat meat.
This is where this broad loses. The council isn’t promoting Christmas and its true meaning. They’re cancelling it.
By the way, when was the last time a Leftist group adhered to, “If you don’t like it, don’t come?” Aren’t they the ones who say, “No, get rid of it?” I’m pretty sure that’s the case.
And here is her biggest argument: inclusion. Then she uses some stupid analogy of Cracker Barrel adding a vegan hot dog or some crap. Yes, Cracker Barrel didn’t get rid of the eleven other meats. They just added the vegan hot dog. But the council wants to exclude Christmas. A better analogy would have been to say Cracker Barrell added the vegan hot dog and got rid of all their meat products.
How is it I can’t get a job at the Washington Post?
Possibly a certain segment of Cracker Barrel diners feels nostalgic for the good old days before vegans and legally enforced nondiscrimination policies. Or possibly Impossible sausage is a sign of change, and some people don’t like change.
Is she kidding here? Is she seriously suggesting people at Cracker Barrell support Jim Crow because they don’t want a vegan sausage?
This is the kind of conflation that turns me off to an article.
But I think exclusive America was simply incensed that, even at Cracker Barrel, inclusive America was winning.
Inclusive America recently thrilled to videos of Black girls watching the preview to the live-action “The Little Mermaid” with Halle Bailey, a Black actor, as Ariel. Exclusive America flooded YouTube with negative comments and argued that the mythical girlfish should be White because mermaids are European, the original story is Danish, and everyone’s childhoods will be retroactively ruined, since Disney will be destroying all copies of the animated 1989 version.
A couple of things here. First, she wants to exclude Christmas. She’s not being inclusive. She’s being exclusive! You want to call Christmas the winter solstice, go for it. You want to call it Kwanza, go for it. But don’t start calling me a racist every time I say, “Merry Christmas”!
By the way, that’s exactly what the second paragraph intimates.
Oh — sorry — no, it won’t. Our cultural heritage will henceforth include both the Black Ariel and the White one. But that’s cold comfort to exclusive America, because central to its worldview is the notion that inclusion is incursion.
Um, no.
There’s already a Little Mermaid out by Disney and it was a great movie. The new movie is woke. I heard it sucked. Not interested. I just won’t see it!
Rewriting the reflexive December salutation to include people who might not be celebrating Christmas, putting a solstice festival on a town’s event calendar, expanding the range of ethnicities represented in children’s movies, adding more choices to breakfast menus — all of it poses some sort of vague, unstated threat.
Or stated, but untrue. Like the claim that same-sex marriage weakens traditional marriage. Or that including trans men in the discourse about abortion erases women. Or that teachers using gender-inclusive language or acknowledging the existence of same-sex parents constitute indoctrination.
People can still marry partners of the opposite sex. They can still speak of pregnant women and girls, and about mommies and daddies. No one is forcing anyone to choose an “unspecified” gender on their passport forms, although the option has been available since April. You can still identify yourself as “male” or “female.”
I get that it’s destabilizing to lose your monopoly on the culture — or to realize you never had it to begin with. To be informed by the Tuscumbia events calendar that the particular kind of Christmas you’ve celebrated your whole life is not the winter holiday, but a winter holiday.
You see what these people are doing? They are replacing all our standards and norms with their woke unstable BS. These people think that the pushback is only because we don’t like their standards but that’s not it. We don’t ant their standards replacing and wiping out our traditions and standards.
Gay marriage is a prime example. As much as people want to think that gay marriage had a lot of pushback, it didn’t. Notice when it became legal, no one threw a fit. OK. Not my problem. They can get married though it’s not a real marriage. Fine. It doesn’t replace my standards and my traditions. Now, the LGBTQI+ is trying to replace our traditions and standards with theirs.
That’s why I refuse to say, “Happy Holidays”. They have been doing this for years. “Merry Christmas” has become a bad saying. Sorry, don’t buy it.
You can still celebrate however you want, though. When inclusion wins, nobody actually loses.
For the record, I like the expression “Merry Christmas” better than “Happy Holidays,” which reminds me of cheap cards and officialdom. It’s the bored mantra of the mall. Inclusive language can be blah. “Spouse” and “pregnant person” and “Happy Holidays” make blurrier images in my head than “husband” or “woman” or “Merry Christmas.”
This shows she really doesn’t understand what, “Merry Christmas” means. She cheapens it by comparing the term to “cheap cards” and I feel sorry for her.
But that’s the point: to blur our shared imagery, to leave open the possibilities so that schools, doctors, parents and, most important, the law are less likely to look at a pregnant trans man or a gay couple or a nonbinary child or a Jew and think they don’t fit the picture.
As Lyz Lenz wrote about adding more inclusive language to her book “Belabored,” “If I can crack a door open in a conversation and let another person in, why wouldn’t I?”
Why wouldn’t we?
So Happy Holidays, inclusive America. And to exclusive America? Happy Holidays to you, too.

Leave the Ornaments Alone
We have to end this podcast with something funny. Well, it’s not too funny because this is being reported through multiple sources. According to the New York Post:
Here’s one way to ensure you have a happy and healthy XXXmas.
A United Kingdom doctor is raising eyebrows across social media by warning people of the dangers of masturbating with ornaments come Christmastime — which is apparently an actual trend.
“It is not advisable to masturbate with Christmas ornaments,” Dr. Sarah Welsh, a gynecologist, told NeedToKnow.Online. She was listing the dildo’s and don’ts of the scandalous Yuletide tradition, which sees people hospitalized after getting frisky with everything from glass baubles to candy canes.
Indeed, trying to make Christmas come early with ornaments is apparently hazardous to one’s health.
“Christmas ornaments can have sharp aspects or pieces that can break during masturbation, which can cause soreness, the risk of trauma and are just generally unsuitable for your vagina,” warned Welsh, who co-founded the condom brand Hanx. In other words, leave your elf on the shelf come Christmastime.
I won’t describe some of the ways people are doing this or put up some of the x-ray images the story has. They’re gross, but the article points out:
According to data from the UK’s National Electronic Injury Surveillance System, there were 13,213 cases in which people ages 25 to 64 inserted “decorating items” in their bodies in 2021 alone, Jam Press reported.
So, just put the ornaments on the tree and use something else to masturbate. Merry Christmas!
