Joe Biden makes the big announcement that no one heard.
Didn’t think we could have another Afghanistan, huh?
And Fox News and CNN make huge announcements.
He’s Running Again? Yay?
Joe Biden has finally announced that he is running for President again. Sort of. He released a video at 6 AM. He didn’t hold a press conference, answer any questions or explain what he has done that should convince people he should be President. Most people only got the information that he was running through social media.
And, yes, he is running with Kamala Harris.
Here is his video in case you didn’t hear it:

What wasn’t in that video? How about why people should vote for him. What has he done to deserve someone’s vote. We know about all his failures (we are going to talk about another one in a second). We know abut all the accusations of corruption. We know all his commitments to Leftist causes like the environment, gender ideology and Critical Race Theory. We know he thinks America is evil, racist, sexist and homophobic. We know he doesn’t believe in parental rights and he believes in child indoctrination.
That’s just a short list. For a man who hates the foundation of principles that America was based on, I don’t know why he wants to run it. That is, unless he wants to f- it up.
Here We Go Again
If you thought that we couldn’t possibly see another Afghanistan during Biden’s tenure and the United States couldn’t lose more ground, you would be wrong.
According to the New York Times:
It began with a helicopter evacuation of American diplomats from Sudan’s besieged capital city just after midnight Sunday, then turned into a full-fledged exodus of foreign officials and citizens of other nations as the battle raged around them.
At the United States Embassy in Khartoum, an elite team of Navy SEALs ushered up to 90 people onto aircraft before taking off for Djibouti, 800 miles away.
Later in the article:
The U.S. government has said it is trying to help the estimated 16,000 Americans living in Sudan, most of whom are dual citizens. U.S. officials are sharing information with them about changing security conditions and potentially less dangerous routes, and helping them pool resources — including matching those in need of transportation with someone who has space in their vehicle.
U.S. officials have stressed a variety of factors about why the evacuation operation went forward on Saturday (early morning Sunday, Sudan time). President Biden had made the decision on Friday to do it when feasible and safe, after senior military and diplomatic officials said there would not be reliable supplies of food, fuel and energy at the embassy. Moreover, after several failed cease-fires between the two warring factions, there was another attempt at one for the Eid holiday celebrating the end of Ramadan, creating a brief window when it was safer to fly in and out for the operation.
We are looking to abandon another 16,000 Americans. That’s what we know of. The government’s excuse is some people have dual citizenships and live there, they were warned for months to get out or not to go in and they had the opportunity to get to the consulate but didn’t. All we need is a terrorist attack to make this whole thing look worse than Afghanistan is have a terrorist attack.
The Sudanese are blaming the West for coming into the country and promising to restore a civilian government but then turning tail when the two opposing factions start going after each other. The factions are the Sudanese Armed Forces, led by Gen. Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) paramilitary group, led by Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo.
Meanwhile, when their is a vacuum, there will be someone who will fill it. The Wagner Group, which is a spy group from Russia, is now rumored to be in Sudan to establish a foothold for Russia. This is the ironic thing about helping Ukraine fight a war against Russia, with the goal of weakening the Russian military: We have gotten weaker and have to abandon areas that Russian front groups are jumping into.
This will be another Biden failure.

Could This Be the Death Knell for Fox News?
Yesterday, Fox News fired Tucker Carlson. Fox said this was a mutual thing, but it obviously wasn’t. Tucker’s last show was on Friday. This comes after Dan Bongino was fired.
Let’s listen to his last segment before being canned and see if he really seemed like he knew his business relationship with Fox was over.
This was Tucker Carlson Tonight’s last moment.

I can’t think of a better way for the greatest cable news show in history to end.

It is not clear what happened. There was the Dominion voting machine settlement. Could he have had something to do with that? There is a harassment suit involving a picture hanging somewhere. But Fox News said this was not a thing and really had nothing to do with Tucker. Is that it? Or was Tucker getting to big for his britches? We don’t know.
I am gong to wait until Tucker says something. Fox News has said absolutely nothing. No show has talked about it. I’m not really trusting Fox News.

Reaction
The reaction has been pretty typical.
Here is The View celebrating the firing.

AOC is celebrating too. Here she is spouting off her opinion.

But the opinions, of course, are not all negative.
Here is Dan Bongino who was also let go by Fox News last week. He says that was not a contentious separation. He is on his podcast and appears in shock when he finds out.

Glen Beck, also a former Fox News contributor, said this could be the end of Fox News. We’ll go more into that in a few moments.
But the bottom line is what we need to watch when it comes to the affects of Tucker’s firing. Looks like the bad news is just keeps rolling in. According to the Daily Wire:
Fox Corporation, the parent company of Fox News Channel, saw its stock fall by $1 billion minutes after news broke on Monday that the cable news channel had ousted its primetime star Tucker Carlson.
Shares of the company, which also owns other sports and entertainment television networks, dipped more than 5.4% following the news of Carlson leaving the organization, shrinking the company’s value by $1 billion. The Wall Street Journal reported that the corporation’s shares ranked among the S&P 500’s worst performers on Monday. However, as the closing bell rang on Monday, Fox shares were down just under 3%.
Fox News is currently up so the stock looks like it is recovering a bit. Unfortunately, the stock isn’t the only thing they have to worry about. The Fox Nation online subscription service is on the ropes. The Blaze says that many people have been stating they will cancel their subscriptions. I have cancelled my subscription. Not because of what Fox News did but because Tucker made Fox Nation. There is nothing on Fox Nation to watch anymore.
Will Fox News survive? Probably. The will lose viewership. I don’t watch it all day. Now I won’t watch it during prime time. I don’t see the reason. It’s just not that good.

It’s About Time
Here’s something that no one cares about. Don Lemon was fired by CNN. It’s about time.
This guy is a sexist, a harasser and a mean guy to the help. He also is stupid and a bad television host. But that wasn’t enough. The final straw may have been this argument with Vivek Ramaswamy. Listen:
according to the NYT this interview that Don Lemon conducted last week with Vivek Ramaswamy played a role in his firing. Note co-host Poppy Harlow sitting silently while Lemon goes after Vivek. pic.twitter.com/Fjx5eX30wU

Reaction
The big reaction is that it took so long to can this guy. In other words, no one cared.
No one except The View. The only reason I’m even bringing this up is because the juxtaposition with Tucker’s firing is kind of funny. Listen to how these dumb broads spin this:
Tucker, who is one of the nicest guys in the world and never been in any trouble, get treated like a pariah while a sexist, bigoted, racist gets the kid gloves. All this because he has their same opinions.
They really struggled though.
