The Timing Couldn’t Be Worse

What is the best way to train an army? How about changing the physical fitness requirements so women can join.

According to military.com:

The Army unveiled its controversial new fitness test on Wednesday, a dramatically revamped set of requirements for soldiers that replace standards created in 1983 after years of limbo and broad skepticism from many in the service, including the secretary of the Army.

Now Army leaders are ready to start measuring troops with the Army Combat Fitness Test, or ACFT, which is finally set in stone following numerous tweaks and modifications. Soldiers will begin taking tests for their record for the first time in years, starting in October.

Sergeant Major of the Army Michael Grinston, the service’s top enlisted leader, told reporters Monday:

“I’m really proud we’re moving forward, we’re there, we’re doing it. This is the test.”

Here’s the info:

• The test will go live on April 1.
• The most significant changes to the six-event ACFT is that it no longer is meant to prepare soldiers for combat but instead built as a general fitness assessment.
• It will also have different scoring standards for men and women across different age groups, in most cases lowering them, following a congressionally mandated report from Rand Corp, a Washington D.C.-based think tank, that found nearly half of the service’s women could not pass earlier standards for the test.
  • A female soldier between 17 and 21 years old now has to deadlift between 120 and 210 lbs. while a male soldier has to lift between 140 and 340 lbs.
  • female soldiers have to run two miles between 23:22 and 15:29 minutes while male soldiers must perform that exercise between 22 and 13:22 minutes.
  • Leg tucks are totally eliminated as the event to measure core strength, with planks taking their place. They’re doing that because they find that women don’t have the grip strength for it.

Steam picked up for Army planners to create a new test around the time when combat arms jobs such as the infantry and cavalry were opened to women in 2015. The force initially sought to create a gender-neutral test and attempted to juggle dueling goals of creating a more inclusive force while also creating a fitter force.

But damning findings from Rand Corp. and concerns over the retention and recruitment of women crushed that ambition. Researchers at Rand found that only 52% of enlisted active-duty women were able to pass the original design for the ACFT, compared to 92% of men in their congressionally mandated study released Wednesday. Only 42% of women in the National Guard and 41% in the Reserve could pass.

That’s awesome! You may die on the battle field because your female partner can’t pick you up but there’ll be diversity.

Donald Trump has finally decided to use the law to go over all those idiots that started the Russian collusion hoax and I say it is about time.

The lawsuit states:

Trump’s lawsuit alleges that the defendants violated U.S. RICO laws, or laws used against organized crime groups such as gangs and mafias, among other violations. He has some good lawyers because I think that is a clever move.

He is suing a bunch of people including Hilary Clinton, the DNC and James Comey to name a few. He’s asking for $24 million.

I think he should be able to sue and he should win. I also think he should attempt a lawsuit against CNN, MSNBC, the New York Times and the Washington Post. He might not win but they might settle.

Nikole Hannah-Jones, a New York Times reporter and creator of the 1619 Project, riled up social media on Monday when she tweeted that “tipping is a legacy of slavery.”

She tweeted:

“Tipping is a legacy of slavery and if it’s not optional then it shouldn’t be a tip but simply included in the bill. Have you ever stopped to think why we tip, like why tipping is a practice in the U.S. and almost nowhere else?”

Problem, and economic and political historian named Phil Magness was having none of this trash. He started by simply tweeting back, “Wait, what?”.

Then he did something Leftists hate: facts:

• Magness noted that tipping is not isolated to just the U.S., posting a Good Housekeeping guide for how to tip in other countries.
• Magness also cited a scene from William Shakespeare’s play “Twelfth Night” that references tipping.

Hannah Jones responded:

“I know your obsession with my Twitter account is unrelenting because it’s the only time anyone pays attention to your tweets, but come on. You can’t discredit me, you’re not converting anyone or revealing anything by going behind my block to stalk my Twitter for tweets you can post to invite scorn. This is about you hoping to bring attention you otherwise don’t get and fill some bitter hole you have. Sad. So sad.”

Trust me, she doesn’t need him to discredit her. She’s done that all by herself.

Home depot responded:

  • BS. The fact they have a corporate diversity, equity and inclusion department means it was probably required.
• Home Depot stated: “While we fully support diversity across our company, this material was not created or approved by our corporate diversity, equity and inclusion department. This was a resource in our Canadian division and not part of any required programming.”

I have a couple of thoughts:

• I don’t see a lot of Antifa or BLM folks or the Leftist elites going to a hardware store to buy the stuff they need to build a chair. This kind of thing will piss off the people that actually do shop there.

The Centers for Disease Control admit that they may have inflated the China virus death totals. I bet they are still a little off.

According to Reuters:

 The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported 966,575 deaths from COVID-19 on Friday after it corrected the data earlier this week, which reduced the death tallies in all age-groups, including children.

The health agency, in a statement to Reuters, said it made adjustments to its COVID Data Tracker’s mortality data on March 14 because its algorithm was accidentally counting deaths that were not COVID-19-related.

The adjustment resulted in removal of 72,277 deaths previously reported across 26 states, including 416 pediatric deaths, CDC said.

The reduction cut the CDC’s estimate of deaths in children by 24% to 1,341 as of March 18.

Does the CDC do anything right.

Here’s the thing, it’s going to be a lot lower than 72,000. You watch, this thing is going to go down to a few hundred thousand.

• They have been overcounting since day one.
• Hospitals were given money for dealing with China virus patients.
• The hospitals then reported anyone in the hospital who had the China virus even if they were not at the hospital because of the China virus.
• People who were in the hospital had heart attacks, strokes, cancer, been in car accidents and home accidents.

This is a serious issue with globalists. Understand, I am not a globalist. I am a nationalist. That means I don’t give a rat’s ass what is happening around the world unless it affects us. I think what happening to Ukraine by the Russians is terrible but I don’t think we should do anything about it and I’m kind of pissed we are giving a ton of money to Ukraine when we have our problems here that are being ignored. We have a huge border crisis here but we’re sending billions of dollars to Ukraine to protect their borders. Go figure.

This all started during the Obama administration. Obama traveled around the world after he got elected, apologizing for everything we did. That is because Obama didn’t want to be President of the United States but President of Earth. At the time, the dollar was strongest and he wanted it that way. That’s why he wouldn’t bow down to the Euro.

The New World Order is something that a lot of wannabe tyrannical regimes are calling the political climate. It’s been said by China, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, France, Great Britain and the United States.

Well, there is a new world order. We aren’t there yet but we are being prepped for it. It is called The Great Reset. I am currently researching this and don’t want to get too much into it but, let’s just say, most of my resources are from those who support it. And it is going to affect all of us.

Here’s a little idea what it is:

• Glen Beck calls it 21st Century Fascism.
• It’s not socialism but has a lot of fascist economic policies.
• All industry and corporations will profit and benefit as long as they follow the party line. Small businesses will not be able to survive.
• Because energy will all be renewable since that’s what the government promised to end climate change, innovation will stop and the high density fuels like fossil fuels will be eliminated.
• Because we will depend on less dependable energy like wind and solar, energy will be horribly expensive and we can expect blackouts.
• Because businesses will be curtailed, unemployment will rise, requiring more dependence on the government.
• Most employment opportunities will come from the government through guaranteed job programs.
• Meat will be outlawed.
• Cars will be unaffordable.
• Plane flight will be unaffordable.
• Everything will be rented or lease since personal property will be discouraged.
• Homelessness, drug and crime will rise.
• Gun ownership will decline because government regulations will shut gun manufacturing down.
• All those railways promised will never come to life.

Sound familiar? That’s California. The Biden administration loves the policies of California. How do we know? He’s implementing them right now.

• Our southern border is wide open because Biden is a globalist and we are all a happy family in the world.
• Inflation is way up because of:
  • Heavy regulations that small businesses can’t keep up.
    • Notice that only big corporations were allowed to be opened during the pandemic?
      • Why did my local store run by an immigrant family have to close but Costco could stay open?
      • Why could I get a cheeseburger from McDonald’s but I couldn’t get a chicken sandwich from the Water Shack?
    • Small businesses shutdown during the pandemic and never got any of that relief money they were promised.
  • The government keeps printing money and giving it to people.
    • Everyone has money in the bank and doesn’t want to work.
    • Everyone who is willing to work is demanding higher wages which hurts small business.
    • People got a taste for not working and just getting government handouts.
• Our debt is at $30 trillion dollars.
  • We spent $7 trillion dollars last year.
  • The Biden administration wants to keep spending.
• Oil and gas prices are way up because we need to convert our energy to renewable energy. Jen Psaki said that last week.
• We are bending the knee to China, Iran and Russia because the Biden administration expects them to behave in the same way we do.
• The government is colluding with big tech and the mainstream news media to control information.

Everything that is happening today is happening per the plan. That crazy Green New Deal we made fun of has partially come to fruition.

Here’s the goal of the great reset: to harden the power and enrich the elites. The idea is to create a utopia but it will only be the elites that reap the benefits. They have been trying to do this for decades on the guise of global cooling. I mean global warming. I mean climate change. I mean the climate crisis.

• He’s an elite. We need to do what he says.

• Pete Buttigieg tells us we need to get electric cars. Joe Biden said we need to get electric cars. He doesn’t own an electric car.
• Jennifer Granholm, the energy secretary, laughed at the question concerning the high gas prices and this was the pain we plebes have to put up with.

Actors, musicians, politicians, Big Tech oligarchs, Wall Street and corporate leaders are all part of the elite. We are the pawns, the worker ants. We are there to serve them and take the brunt of the pain. That’s why we hear so words that sound so tone deaf. They are not being tone deaf. What is happening is exactly what is in the plan. When they tell you that you should by an electric car you can’t afford, they are basically telling you that you will need to get rid of your car and start taking the bus.

They are not tone deaf. We are blind to their plans.

There was an opinion article by Bloomberg this weekend talking about the effects inflation is having on people.

Its title is Inflation Stings Most If You Earn Less Than $300K. Here’s How to Deal. by Teresa Ghilarducci. It is another example of the “just do it, plebe” attitude that the elites have.

If your income is more than $289,000 a year, the run-up in gas prices may be alarming — but it’s unlikely to hammer your overall finances. After all, Americans at that level spend no more than 1% of their take-home pay on gas and oil, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

For those earning much less, it’s a different story. Those at the median, with income of about $50,000, spend more than 3% of it on gas and motor oil. Low-income households making between $7,000 and $19,000 spend about 9%. The latest inflation numbers show gas prices jumped 6.6% in February from a month earlier — even before President Joe Biden banned U.S. imports of Russian oil.

Some things:

• 98.9% make less than $300,000.
• She does this to say that it doesn’t hurt everybody.
• It’s a very misleading title.

I won’t read the entire article. The first part of it involve statistics and stuff that show life sucks for the average person under inflation. She did say that gas prices are relatively low in historical standards, no statistics on that, of course. I was alive when gas hit $1 a gallon and we didn’t flip out like we are now. But then she comes up with some of the things we can do to make our lives cheaper so we can survive inflation:

• You have to know your budget to control your budget.
• Take the bus and sell your car.
• Stop eating meat. Replace meat with beans and lentils.
• Stay away from buying in bulk.
• If you pet is sick, don’t take it to the doctor. If the treatment for your pet is too expensive, let it die.
• Don’t travel.
• Don’t eat out.

Basically do what the government already forces people to do in China, Russia, Cuba and Venezuela.

Do you think Arnold Schwarzenegger, Joe Biden, Pete Buttigieg, Jen Psaki, Jennifer Grandholm or even the writer of this article, Teresa Ghilarducci, are going to do any of this?

Kamala Harris seriously has to resign and find another job. She’s terrible at her job, is a terrible boss and a terrible person. She having some major issues this week.

• There is little doubt she failed in Europe two weeks ago because Joe Biden is going to Spain and Poland next week. I wouldn’t piss all over her because she really had no goals set.
• She lost another staffer yesterday. That brings it up to 10 staffers that left her. Good news is after she loses 10 staffers she gets one for free.
• There are more rumors about the lack of confidence Biden has in her.
  • The two are forced to have lunch once a week and rumor has it they are awkward.
  • The complaint from the Biden’s is she’s failed in everything she’s been assigned.
  • Her camp complains that she is given impossible jobs that she can’t complete. And he’s a racist. And he’s a sexist. And he probably hates gay people too.
  • Truth is, they are probably both right.
• A new book is being released about Kamala. And let’s say it is less than endearing.

I watched some of the confirmation hearings for Ketanji Brown Jackson and she really has no business being a Supreme Court Justice. Her reasoning is cloudy. Her logic is flawed. She’s a Leftist activist. And, quite frankly, she’s dumb.

Let’s go over a couple of things.

Here she is having to listen to Lindsey Graham go off on the hypocrisy of the Left:

Some things:

• Janice Rogers Brown was a black woman nominated by George W. Bush. She never got confirmed because she was a Conservative.
• Joe Biden picked Brown because she was black and he wanted to be the President that appointed the first black woman.
• Meanwhile, he stopped the confirmation of a black woman about 20 years ago because she was a Conservative.

Here’s Ted Cruise going off on her for a bunch of reason and she is really having a hard time answering this:

Some things:

• As far as CRT for K-12, Cruz not reconciling means her thinks she’s lying.
• This is the big problem with Leftist ideology.
  • I believe she cares about kids.
  • But her going beyond the Congressional laws concerning child pornographers to make sure they don’t spend that much time in prison shows that her compassion for children might not be too truthful.
• I do believe her but this is a serious issue with her reasoning.
• That’s enough to keep her off the court.

• She saw a college freshman and a third grader as “peers”.
• She believes that, because the Internet makes downloading kiddie porn so easy and fast compared to using the mail, the number of images does not prove that the crime is aggravated.
• She’s right, in a twisted way, but it is not up to her to change the law. That’s Congress’ job.
• And why have any sympathy for these people at all? If they downloaded thousands of images, they’ve got a serious problem and should face a harsher sentence.
• The pedophile, and I do think they are pedophiles because they are using exploited kids, didn’t give a damn about the kids. This is not a blurry line here.

But the media defended her record on pedophiles. Here’s Jeffrey Toobin from CNN defending  Brown’s light sentencing for pedophiles:

• Toobin should probably sit this one out.
• He was the guy who was caught jerking off on a Zoom call with his co-workers.
• I don’t think his opinion on the sentencing of perverts is appropriate here.
• But this is what the Left does. They try to blur the lines of the law for criminals.
• There’s no blur here. I don’t care if one has one piece of kiddie porn or a thousand, that guy should be in prison for years if not life. Not sentenced to three months.

According to the New York Post:

South Carolina has given the green light for condemned prisoners in the state to be executed by firing squad.

Final approval came Friday after the state Department of Corrections said renovations had been completed on a new death chamber where the executions can take place in the state capital of Columbia.

The electric chair is the state’s primary method of execution, but a May 2021 law now allows prisoners to choose to die by lethal injection or firing squad, the state said in a press release.

Some things:

• It’s about time.
• This seems to me the easiest, most effective and cheapest way to take care of business.
• For the prisoner, it is the fastest less painful way to go.
• It’s messy and we don’t like messy. We like everything clean. That’s why lethal injection is so popular.
• This is the problem with our society. We hide from reality.
• Death isn’t clean.

The Jussie Smollett saga is coming to an end.

Just as a reminder:

• Jussie Smollett is an actor from the defuncted television show Empire.
• Smollett called the police because he was attacked as an apparent hate crime because he was black and gay.
• They hit him and threw a noose over his neck.
• The media went insane about it.
  • They said this was proof the country is filled with white supremacy.

Then the story began to fall apart. Questions were being asked and evidence started coming out:

• Was Jussie Smollett really out at 2:30 in the morning during the middle of a polar vortex to get a Subway sandwich?
• Were there really a lot of right wing, white supremacist, Trump-supporters in the southside of Chicago.
• Did these racists really wait for him at 2:30 in the morning in the middle of a polar vortex to beat up an actor who starred in a show they would never watch because they were racists?
• Why didn’t he take the noose off when he got home?
• Did he really get beaten up but still had the mind to pick up his subway sandwich and take it home?

Then the evidence started coming out:

• Phone records showed text messages and conversations to two of Smollett’s trainers. Smollett wouldn’t give the police his cell phone.
• The trainers were caught on camera buying rope and two red hats.
• The brothers were picked up and admitted that they did it and that Smollett planned the whole thing.
• The brothers showed the police a check Smollett had given them for the job.

Kim Foxx, the DA of Chicago, was given the case after the investigation and the recommendation to Smollett. She completely ignored it and wouldn’t charge Smollett. This kind of shows that the system is racist but racist against white people. We will get into that in a second. Luckily, the system still works and Smollett was charged, tried and convicted.

He was sentenced yesterday. Of course, he was late to his sentencing. He was late to all his court appearances. He was sentenced to 150 days in jail, followed by 30 months on probation, and ordered to $120,000 in restitution and $25,000 in fines.

The judge, James Lynn, blasted Smollett during his 30 minute statement:

But the judge wasn’t done. Later, he went on to say how much damage Smollett did to himself, his family and others:

These were pretty powerful words and all true. Did Smollett learn anything? Let’s listen:

Guess not. But his reaction did accomplish a couple things. It made him look like a martyr. Anyone not being not paying attention to this story may see him as being unjustly imprisoned. The other thing it does is audition for whatever he does after he’s released from jail, which will probably be after 30 days.

By the way, he’s a crappy actor.

Smollett could of gotten 15 years in prison. He should have gotten it.

• This was a hate crime.
• What if there were two white guys in the area at the time and they were accused of this crime. What do you think would happen?
• By the way, the prosecution never talked about this being a hate crime. He did this to create conflict. He did this to create hate among the races. The judge said that.
• The judge also talked about how hate crimes are the worst type of crime.
  • I’d say murder, child abuse and molestation and rape are far worse crimes.

Up, Up and Away

Inflation is on the rise again. In fact, it is the highest since 1982.

• Consumer inflation jumped 7.9% over the past year.
• The 12-month increase has been steadily rising and is now the largest since the period ending January 1982.
• Overall prices rose .8% in February.
• Increases in the indexes for gasoline, shelter, and food were the largest contributors to the seasonally adjusted all items increase.
• The gasoline index rose 6.6 percent in February and accounted for almost a third of the all items monthly increase; other energy component indexes were mixed.
• The food index rose 1.0 percent as the food at home index rose 1.4 percent.
• The all items less food and energy index rose 6.4 percent, the largest 12-month change since the period ending August 1982.
• The energy index rose 25.6 percent over the last year, and the food index increased 7.9 percent, the largest 12-month increase since the period ending July 1981.

This is really bad news. Everything is rising and it is all because of Joe Biden’s policies that they keep saying are not going to change any of them. They are saying that this whole mess is because of Putin and the war in Ukraine. The media is already calling it “the Putin Price Hike”.

They are also blaming corporate greed that is causing inflation. That’s right! The beef, pork, chicken, dairy, confectionary, energy and car industries all conspired to raise prices to make profits.

• The spending bill includes $575 million for “family planning” internationally, Texas Republican Rep. Chip Roy pointed out, $286 million for Title X funding to “keep the lights on at Planned Parenthood,” $32.5 million for the pro-abortion U.N. Population Fund, and $200 million for a brand new “Gender Equity and Equality Action Fund” to help promote abortion across the globe.
  • $100 billion on Green New Deal initiatives and an advancement of Racial justice initiatives through the Department of Agriculture.
  • $100 billion on environmental justice activities.
  • $75 billion on electric car promotion.
  • $26 billion in food stamp funding.

Screw Ukraine

The United States is screwing Ukraine again.

• The Pentagon withdrew their offer to Poland to send F-16 fighter jets to Poland in exchange for Poland sending their older MIG-29 fighter jets.
  • • Antoney Blinkin made the announcement on Sunday about the proposed deal.
    • Poland wanted to do the deal but did not want to send the jets directly to Ukraine. This is because they feared provoking Russia and they are on the border to Ukraine.
    • They also did not trust the United States to have their back during the delivery.
    • Poland sent the jets to an Air Force base in Germany and made the announcement that they made the deal with the United States.
    • The United States had no idea there was an announcement.
    • On Thursday, the United States said they were pulling out of the deal because they did not want to provoke Russia by delivering the jets to Ukraine.
    • Way to screw Ukraine.
• Russia has confirmed that they are using vacuum bombs. This is a war crime.
• Russia is not threatening to use chemical and biological weapons. They are doing this for a reason.
• The weakness of this administration is still showing. They refuse to say or do anything because of this threat.
• Russia has stated that there are biological weapons labs in Ukraine paid for by the United States.
  • At first, the administration, the media and fact checkers said there are not.
  • Now we are finding out that there are labs in Ukraine.
  • Facts are coming out on this story and, if true, are really damning to the United States government.

Just Stupid

Meanwhile, in the United States, during a time of such instability, it’s good to hear that one of our Navy missile ship is being taken offline because of COVID.

• Navy Times reported on Tuesday that there is currently a “stand-off” between the U.S. Navy and the commanding officer of a destroyer warship that cost nearly $2 billion to make because the commander in question has refused to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
• The Navy would like to fire him for not following orders and having lost their “confidence” in his ability to lead the ship and crew. The Navy believes he is unfit to command for not receiving the COVID-19 jab, and as a result, could cause a national emergency because they would not feel secure sending the ship out to sea with him in command.
• Problem is, the captain is in a position that will not allow the Navy to fire him.
• There is a pending lawsuit.
• Federal Judge Steven Merryday of U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida ruled in February that while that lawsuit is going on, the Navy and Marines cannot take any punitive action against members of those units who have refused the COVID-19 vaccine — despite orders.
• On February 28, the Navy requested permission to fire the CO, arguing Merryday’s injunction is “an extraordinary intrusion upon the inner workings of the military.”
• The Navy claimed that the commander has shown other callous behavior, such as exposing the 320 member crew of the ship he commands to COVID-19 in November of last year after he became ill.
• I do want to point out no one died and there were a bunch who caught it.

Very Telling

Quinnipiac released a poll that is very telling.

• Americans say 71 – 22 percent that they would support a ban on Russian oil even if it meant higher gasoline prices in the United States.
  • Democrats (82 – 12 percent), independents (70 – 22 percent), and Republicans (66 – 30 percent) all support banning Russian oil.
• As for the steps that the Biden administration has taken so far to punish Russia for the invasion of Ukraine, 56 percent say they are not tough enough, while 30 percent say they are about right, and 3 percent say they are too tough.
• There is broad support (79 – 14 percent) for a U.S. military response if Russian President Vladimir Putin goes beyond Ukraine and attacks a NATO country.
• Americans are divided on Joe Biden’s handling of the response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine with 42 percent approving, 45 percent disapproving, and 13 percent not offering an opinion. This compares to a week ago when 39 percent approved, and 47 percent disapproved.
• For his overall job approval, Americans give Biden a negative 38 – 51 percent job approval rating with 11 percent not offering an opinion.
• Americans were asked what they would do if they were in the same position as Ukrainians are now: stay and fight or leave the country? A majority (55 percent) say they would stay and fight, while 38 percent say they would leave the country. Republicans say 68 – 25 percent and independents say 57 – 36 percent they would stay and fight, while Democrats say 52 – 40 percent they would leave the country.

That really tells you something about Democrats.

American WNBA star Brittney Griner was detained in February on drug charges at an airport near Moscow, according to a report from The New York Times.

• Griner, who plays for the Phoenix Mercury of the WNBA, also plays for the Russian team UMMC Ekaterinburg during the WNBA offseason.
•  The search of Griner’s luggage occurred in February, meaning there’s a chance she has been in Russian custody for a few days. Griner could face up to ten years in prison for the crime.
• Griner’s agent Lindsay Kagawa Colas said: “We are aware of the situation with Brittney Griner in Russia and are in close contact with her, her legal representation in Russia, her family, her teams, and the WNBA and NBA. As this is an ongoing legal matter, we are not able to comment further on the specifics of her case but can confirm that as we work to get her home, her mental and physical health remain our primary concern.”
• So, they aren’t denying the charges.
• Of course, Democrats are demanding she be released and are saying she’s being held hostage.
• One final point, this woman knelt during the National Anthem and actually believed the National Anthem shouldn’t be played before games.

I have some thoughts about this.

• She openly believes this country is evil and racist. She goes to another country. Gets into trouble then wants the United States to spend time and money to help her? No.
• But, more to the point, she broke the law in Russia. There is no denial that she had what they say she had. She must pay the price.

The Biden administration is trying to plant the seed of a new narrative concerning the gas prices.

The media flips out about what they call the “Don’t Say Gay” bill. Let’s take a look at that bill and see if they have something to flip out about.

Oh, That’s the Problem

Gas jumps again, another $0.20 so the Biden administration has to come up with a new line.

Joe Biden has never taken responsibility for anything…ever. He celebrates anything that is good while ignoring all that is bad. Even if the good has nothing to do with his policies. Take the unemployment rate. Yeah, it’s good that people are getting jobs and it’s good that pay has gone higher. He’ll celebrate all that. But he will ignore that we have still not reached pre-pandemic employment numbers and inflation and high gas prices prices negate any wage growth by, going on now, 10%.

Let’s look at his reaction through the last six months as gas prices were rising. Don’t forget that gas, on average, was about $2.80 a gallon. in December of 2020 and shot up to $3.40 a gallon in November of 2021.

In this clip, he blamed the pandemic and everyone getting back to regular life, saying that rising gas prices would go away by now.

Yeah, he was wrong. He said that in October. We didn’t have a Russia/Ukraine war then. Russia wasn’t even massing troops at the Ukrainian border then.

Here he is blaming Russia and OPEC for not producing enough gas:

And he looked actually happy at the idea that he can blame Russia now. In fact, it looks like him stopping oil coming from Russia as an excuse for why prices are going up and will continue to go up.

This is the new narrative. The new excuse as to why we can’t blame Biden’s crappy policies.

Sounds Like a Reasonable Bill to Me

The Florida Senate has passed bill HB1557. It is now heading to Gov. Ron DeSantis desk where he is expected to sign it. It discusses the way teachers in the state deal with sexual issues, sort of.

I’m going to do this is reverse order. First I am going to go through the reaction to the bill. Because, as you can imagine, the Left is going insane. Then we’re going to go through the bill, the actual bill, and see if the reaction is legitimate.

Media Reaction

The media immediately deemed this bill the “Don’t Say Gay” bill. Again, we’ll get into the bill in a few minutes and that’s important. The naming of the bill, which doesn’t have a name, is misleading.

An LGBQIWXYZ-groups decided to release a video extenuating the “Don’t Say Gay” lie. I will call it a lie now even though I haven’t read you the bill yet. They released a video in protest of the video. It got together a bunch of celebrities and gay people who do nothing but say, “gay” a bunch of times. Listen:

The Political Reaction

Put politicians reacted to the bill too.

Florida Democrats walked through the halls of the Florida capital singing gay, gay, gay. Listen:

The Biden administration also weighed in because they have nothing more important to worry about. The Department of Education appeared to threaten Florida over the bill.

Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona said in a statement on Tuesday:

“Parents across the country are looking to national, state, and district leaders to support our nation’s students, help them recover from the pandemic, and provide them the academic and mental health supports they need. Instead, leaders in Florida are prioritizing hateful bills that hurt some of the students most in need.”

“The Department of Education has made clear that all schools receiving federal funding must follow federal civil rights law, including Title IX’s protections against discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. We stand with our LGBTQ+ students in Florida and across the country, and urge Florida leaders to make sure all their students are protected and supported.”

This statement is so stupid because I know what the bill says. You’ll know in a few minutes. But it has all the key words: hate, hurting students, civil rights, gender identity.

Joe Biden does support this bill but there’s a problem. Let’s listen to a question about the bill posed to Jen Psaki that, I’m pretty sure she didn’t expect:

• Biden didn’t support gay rights in the past! That’s OK, neither did Barrack Obama. But he has to please his base.
• What difference does it matter that he was against this 25 years ago. He was against it. What changed his mind?
• Why is it hateful now but not then?
• Notice, she never answers the question. The guys who are voting for the bill know why they are voting for the bill and are vocal about it.
• The question is why would Biden vote for a bill just like it 25 years ago (some say, that bill was worse) and be against it now? This press guy is wondering about Biden’s motivations.
• Yeah, we don’t get any answer from the most transparent administration in history.

The Bill

Now, let’s go through the bill and see if this reaction is justified. You already know it’s not because I wouldn’t bring it up if it was.

• The bill is only four pages long.
• The bill never mentions the word gay.
• The bill never mentions the word trans.
• It doesn’t say anything about cis-gender, non-binary, my pronouns or anything about gender identity.

Let’s go through some of it. I am going to edit some of the wording but you can read the bill yourself. It’ll take five minutes.

• The first section talks about student welfare.
• …notifying a student’s parent if there is a change in the student’s services or monitoring related to the student’s mental, emotional, or physical health or well-being and the school’s ability to provide a safe and supportive learning environment for the student. The procedures must reinforce the fundamental right of parents to make decisions regarding the upbringing and control of their children by requiring school district personnel to encourage a student to discuss issues relating to his or her well-being with his or her parent or to seek permission to discuss or facilitate discussion of the issue with the parent. 
  • In other words, you have to tell parents what you are teaching, parents have a right to say they don’t want something taught, and teachers should encourage kids to talk to their parents.
  • That’s very different than before where teachers told student to hide things from their parents.
  • By the way, nothing about gender here. A teacher just has to tell the parents what’s going on with the child’s health or a change in curriculum.
• A school district may not adopt procedures or student support forms that prohibit school district personnel from notifying a parent about his or her student’s mental, emotional, or physical health or well-being, or a change in related services or monitoring, or that encourage or have the effect of encouraging a student to withhold from a parent such information.
  • Seems reasonable.
  • A school cannot create rules that prohibits teachers, administration and districts from talking to parents.
• A school district may not encourage classroom discussion about sexual orientation or gender identity in primary grade levels or in a manner that is not age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students.
  • This is the one that has the Left flipping.
  • Primary grades are kindergarten through third grade. The Left wants to teach 5-year-olds about sex. That’s grooming.
  • The Left doesn’t like the vagueness of the law.
  • I think it is vague. They should have gone much further.
• A parent of a student may bring an action against a school district to obtain a declaratory judgment that a school district procedure or practice violates this paragraph and seek injunctive relief.
  • Parents can sue schools.
  • I have no problem with this.

That’s it. That’s the law.

• Parents have a right to know what teachers are doing.
• Teachers have to say if their kids have problems and not hide things from the parents.
• Teachers shouldn’t be teaching sex education to little kids.
• And, if the teachers don’t do any of that, parents can sue.

That’s it. That’s the bill. Anything really bazar about it? I never had any of these problems when I was in school.

Some things:

• This is something that needed to be done. It is going to hurt at the pump but, if we are serious in stopping the escalation, we need to do this.
• It would have been nice if it was done before the invasion.
• Russian oil imports make up 7% of our oil.

• The president said his decision comes after consulting with European allies, although he said some are not able to join the U.S. in banning Russian oil.

• Still, the European Commission (E.U.) said it plans to reduce imports of Russian energy by two-thirds, even though it gets 40% of it from Russia. For its part, the United Kingdom is to phase out Russian oil imports by the end of 2022.
• The United Kingdom will ban the import of Russian oil over the invasion of Ukraine, with the official announcement expected later on Tuesday, joining the United States in protest.
• The ban on Russian oil is expected to take place right away.

So be prepared to pay more because this administration has no real plans to actually help this problem.

Gas Prices

Gas prices have gone up again. In my neck of the woods, prices went from $5.19 a gallon to $5.39 a gallon. Mind you, it was $4.55 a gallon about a week and a half ago.

Joe Biden is getting heat for not drilling in the United States to lead us to energy independence. In his speech today, he made clear that he had nothing to do with there being a lowering of drilling in the United States:

Jen Psaki also showed her compassion during a press conference yesterday. She was asked about what the administration was going to do about the fear people had about rising prices. Her answer was less than inspiring:

• Is he going to do everything he can? Really?
  • Could he encourage drilling by opening it up on federal lands?
  • Could he lower regulations on drilling to encourage more development?
  • Could he open the XL pipeline for more efficient delivery of oil from Canada?
• This is going to be the new narrative: It’s Russia’s fault.
  • Remember, the gas prices were 40% higher before the Ukraine war. Was that Putin’s fault?
  • The average price when Biden took office was $2.79 a gallon.
  • It jumped to $3.44 a gallon before the war started.
• Joe Biden release 60 million barrels from the reserve. That’s three days of oil.
• Those producers and suppliers include:
  • Venezuela.
  • Saudi Arabia.
  • Iran.
  • Why do they always negotiate with countries that hate us.

That set Peter Doocy off. He went right after Psaki:

Some things:

• Her comment about producing more oil than Trump’s first year is a bit misleading.
  • Trump cancelled just about every regulation on drilling. Biden can’t say we are drilling more than Biden’s second year.
  • We were energy independent. Biden came in, no longer.
• There are 9000 unused oil permits. Why are they unused? According to the oil producers, it’s because the regulations placed on those permits to drill on federal lands are so suffocating that profits are impossible.
• And her last statement is the rub. We should not be using oil anymore. Period! We are the problem and our cars and our warm homes and our stocked grocery stores and our vacations.
• Everything we have come to expect needs to be change. All in the name of the planet.
• That B.S. The reality is, if the planet was really the issue:
  • We would be going after China and India.
  • We would be encouraging innovation which means allowing the use of fossil fuels until we come up with something better.
• This is all about pushing big government which requires suppressing the population and ending capitalism.
• In the United States, that requires killing the Constitution and we know the Left is working on that.

I went off on a tangent. Peter Doocy wasn’t done with her:

Some things:

• Gas prices are based on speculation. If the pipeline assures there will be more oil in the future, prices will go down.
• If you combine the pipeline with the oil fields in Canada, you get a more efficient way of getting more oil into the country.
• A good analogy. A sink is not the source of water but you don’t break the sink.
• Those other means are by truck and ship. Both are inefficient and more susceptible to accidents.

All in all, this administration is not serious about this crisis. They just don’t care.

Just How Unserious Are They?

Pretty unserious.

Yesterday, Kamala Harris and Pete Buttigieg had a press conference talking about gas prices and it went about as well as could be expected for those two.

Here’s Pete Buttigieg telling us that we should all just get electric cars:

Some things:

• The affordable electric vehicles lose 30% of their range in cold weather when transportation is needed most.
• By the way, they’re are not that affordable. They cost be tween $30-$40K.
• They also still take forever to charge.
• The electric cars that don’t lose range in cold weather are Tesla cars. They cost, at least, $60K.
• Where does he think the electricity to power those cars is going to come from?
• And, what do car batteries run on? Cobalt. Where do we get cobalt? China. Why do these guys always enrich communist dictatorships?

Kamala Harris was worse. Here she is introducing a push to get electric school buses:

What world are these people living in. Imagine and it shall come? Click your ruby slippers and repeat I wish my car was electric and it will happen?

But this is the belief of the Left. We should all do what they do and, if we can’t, then we should go without. If you have a car with a combustion engine and can’t afford an electric car, then you shouldn’t have a car. If truckers can’t afford gas to bring inventory to the grocery stores, then the shelves should remain empty. After all, we should lower our expectations to make the world better.

The Russian/Ukrainian war enters its 12th day. Let’s take a quick look at what’s happening.

Here is what is happening in the Russia/Ukraine war:

• The war has been going on for 12 days.
• The United Nations is estimating Monday that 1,735,068 people overall have fled Ukraine since Feb. 24
• The Biden administration is willing to ban Russian oil imports into the U.S. without its allies in Europe doing the same, two sources familiar with the matter told Reuters on Monday.
• An estimated 5,138 people in 72 Russian cities were arrested Sunday.
• The United Nations’ Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights announced Monday that 406 civilians have been killed and 801 have been injured in Ukraine since fighting began on Feb. 24.
• CNN, BBC have stopped broadcasting in Russia following Putin signing a law that bans misinformation and disinformation.
• Mastercard and Visa have discontinued service in Russia.
  • How targeting the Russian people is going to solve something, I don’t know.
  • Russia appears to be going to China try to implement China’s credit card system called Union Pay as soon as possible.
• Putin is being accused of war crimes for using vacuum bombs.
• Ukraine is asking for planes, armed drones and the Russian version of the Patriot anti-air missile system.
• The Ukrainian air force is still intact.
• The United States is negotiating with Poland to send them F-16 fighter jets and Poland will send Ukraine the older MIG fighter jets to Ukraine.
• U.K. intelligence says that a Russian victory is far from assured.

Gas Prices

The gas and oil prices are astronomical and only going to get worse.

• Oil is $130 a barrel and they expect it to get to to get to $140 a barrel by tomorrow.
• Forecasters expect oil to reach $200 a barrel.
• Average gas prices are now $4.17 a gallon up from $3.44 a gallon last month.
• Mind you, when Trump left office, the average was $2.79. That’s important to know because Jen Psaki and the Biden administration are blaming the war for high prices. They were high before.
• By the way, in California, we are paying $5.19 a gallon.

What is the Biden administration doing? Not much.

• The Biden administration is asking Saudi Arabia to increase oil production.
  • They told Biden to kick rocks.
  • The Saudi’s hate Biden because of the Koskogi killing.
• The Biden administration sent an envoy to Venezuela.
  • They want to lift sanctions from Venezuela’s socialist government to start importing their oil.
  • Republicans are furious about it (read some of the tweets).
• Iran might be an option for the Biden administration. More on that later.

The one thing Biden will not do is start drilling in the United States. They have made that very clear. Jen Psaki basically disciplined people during a press conference last week telling us that we needed to get off our dependence of oil. Even Elon Musk said we need to start drilling for oil.

And he’s doubling-down. The Biden administration is now trying to stop all exports of Russian oil. I don’t disagree with this but there needs to be something that fills the void. People need to live. This doesn’t just affect oil and gas. It affects food prices, home heating, electricity. Energy affects everything.

The one reality that the Biden administration refuses to face is we are living in a fossil fuel world. But he doesn’t care about the suffering he bestows on us. He will never suffer.

Of course, you will always have the elites talking about how things aren’t really that bad and we have to just deal with it. George Takei of Star Trek fame tweeted this:

What’s the Definition of Insanity?

The Biden administration still is trying to get into that crap Iran nuclear deal. They want to get back into it so bad, they are throwing the kitchen sink into the deal. Basically, Iran is going to get everything they want and we aren’t going to get crap.

• The negotiators for Biden administration have left their posts because the is no negotiating happening. Iran just lists demands and that’s it.
• The Russian Envoy has said he can’t believe how much Iran is getting in this deal for nothing.

So far, this is what’s happening:

• Iran will get compensation from the United States.
• Iran will be allowed to have free trade. That includes selling oil to the United States.
• Iran will have to limit nuclear production for 10 years but that doesn’t have to be confirmed by any independent observers. We just have to trust them. That’s it.
• Iran has asked that their Revolutionary Guard be taken off of the international terrorist list. That makes sense. Take terrorists off the terrorist list.
• Russia, who is directly involved in the negotiations, threw a wrench into the mix.
  • They want complete free trade with Iran.
  • This is a sticking point. Negotiations have been broken off.

Republicans are furious that we are negotiating with Russia and Iran. A letter was sent to the President highlighting that Iran is using their nuclear program to get more from the United States and it is working. Iran has already created weapons grade plutonium and that knowledge is not going to go away because they join this agreement.

The Senate has threatened block any deal with Iran. That is important. If the deal is not supported by Congress, the next President can just leave the deal and reinstate sanctions. This is what happened when Obama got into the deal. President Trump was able to pull out of the deal.
