The world is on fire because Elon Musk now owns Twitter. And the tears from the Left are so salty and sweet.

 

Twitter Has a New Boss!

Twitter is officially owned by Elon Musk. The reactions are just delicious. I talked about the deal yesterday and there’s not more to it. But the reactions are so funny, I can’t them go.

What is Elon Musk going to do? We don’t know. When the sale went through, he tweeted this:

Here are some things Musk wants to do:

• Manipulate spam and bots.
• Create a subscription service for blue checkmarks.
• Get rid of ads.
• Expand the content limit for those who have subscriptions.
• Use timeouts instead of banning accounts.
• Make the algorithms open source for transparency.
• Soften content moderations.
• Create an edit feature for the tweets.
• Follow the laws of the countries it is allowed.

So, as you can imagine, the Left is flipping out.

 

The White House

Jen Psaki, during her press conference yesterday, was asked about the acquisition of Twitter by Elon Musk and what the White House was expecting.

Here is Psaki being asked about misinformation on social media. Listen carefully:

Some things:

• First off this is a loaded, leading question.
  • Who is the White House to talk about misinformation? They have been wrong about everything.
    • The vaccines.
    • Masks.
    • Hydroxychloroquine.
    • Ivermectin.
  • Most of the misinformation is coming from the White House. Who are they to determine who’s wrong?
• Psaki admits, again, that they are working with social media to censor what they want to censor. Which, by the way, makes social media the propaganda wing.
• And it took Musk, a free speech advocate, for the White House to ask Congress to do something. Interesting.

Here is Jen being asked if the President is upset that Trump might be allowed on the platform:

Some things:

• She never answered the question.
• She brings up the reforms again. In other words, she’s threatening Twitter.

By the way, CNBC released an article saying the Biden administration is upset at the prospect of Trump going back on Twitter.

I don’t think Biden is upset about it. I don’t think he knows what’s going on. But this puts his candidacy for 2024 in jeopardy because Trump won the 2016 election on social media.

By the way, Trump said he would not go on Twitter because he wants to continue using his new platform, Truth Social. What a dumb idea.

 

The Media

The media is just as bad. The world is ending. I only found a couple but they were funny.

Here is Brian Stelter on CNN addressing the apocalypse.

Some things:

• How is this guy still on CNN. He fat, funny looking and can’t speak.
• His analogy is terrible. I don’t even get it.
• There will be rules on Twitter. Twitter isn’t going to be the wild west. You know who knows that? Elon Musk.
• And if anyone knows how to get advertisers, I’m sure it’s Elon Musk. He is smarter than any of the analysts.
• I also think he has huge plans for this thing. I don’t think we will be able to recognize Twitter next year.

Here is some guy from MSNBC that, I don’t know, I just can’t believe he said this:

This statement is so out-of-touch I can’t believe he, his producers or anyone else at MSNBC didn’t catch this.

Everything that he said would happen to Democrats and Leftists under Musk has been happening to Republicans and Conservatives under the current Twitter regime.

• Donald Trump is banned. But the leaders from Russia, Iran and China are not.
• Assassination attempts on Libs of TikTok were ignored, but I called a trans female traitor by his dead name and I’m banned.
• Parody sites like the Babylon Bee are banned for disinformation are banned but Snoop Dog’s video shooting of Trump is allowed.
• The NY Post’s story about Hunter Biden’s laptop is banned, before the election, but the Russia hoax is not.
• Twitter banned the woman who accused Bill Clinton of rape!

Run on this guys. Run on this.

But there’s more. The Verge and Newsweek released articles on how to get rid of your Twitter account. This is pointed to Leftists. Mind you, Musk is a Libertarion or a classical liberal. He’s not a Conservative.

 

Finally

Let’s look at the general population.

So far, everyone is threatening to leave Twitter. Only two people have left so far that I know of and I don’t even know who they are. Barbara Streisand threatened to move to Canada. FYI: Twitter is in Canada.

Actress Jameela Jamil, who is an outspoken leftist and LGBT advocate, tweeted:

“Ah he got twitter. I would like this to be my what lies here as my last tweet. I fear this free speech bid is going to help this hell platform reach its final form of totally lawless hate, bigotry, and misogyny. Best of luck.”

Then she killed her account. Bye bye.

Faux activist and black man, Shaun King, who is known for doxing and actual hate speech, tweeted:

“At its root, Elon Musk wanting to purchase Twitter is not about left vs right. It’s about white power.”

“The man was raised in Apartheid by a white nationalist. He’s upset that Twitter won’t allow white nationalists to target/harass people. That’s his definition of free speech.”

“So for me, this isn’t about left vs right. Not at all. It’s about how the richest man in the world, a son of Apartheid, raised by a white nationalist, wants to be sure his speech, and that of other white men, isn’t censored.”

Then he killed his account. Notice these people have to tweet before they get off of Twitter to tell us we are getting off of Twitter? These people will be back in a week.

Actor Rob Reiner wrote:

“Now that Elon Musk is buying Twitter, the question for all of us is: Will he allow a Criminal who used this platform to lie and spread disinformation to try to overthrow the US Government to return and continue his Criminal activity? And if he does, how do we combat it?”

At least he didn’t mention Trump by name this time. Here, he just calls him a criminal.

It wasn’t all bad. Conservative actor James Woods was thrilled about the move. He tweeted:

“I’ve never been a proponent of electric cars, nor do I ever wish to fly into space. That said, @elonmusk  is a hero. He proved that capitalism will crush socialism every time. #BravoElonMusk.”

In a statement, Jack Dorsey, founder and former CEO of Twitter, said:

“I love Twitter. Twitter is the closest thing we have to a global consciousness. The idea and service is all that matters to me, and I will do whatever it takes to protect both. Twitter as a company has always been my sole issue and my biggest regret. It has been owned by Wall Street and the ad model. Taking it back from Wall Street is the correct first step.”

“In principle, I don’t believe anyone should own or run Twitter. It wants to be a public good at a protocol level, not a company. Solving for the problem of it being a company however, Elon is the singular solution I trust. I trust his mission to extend the light of consciousness. Elon’s goal of creating a platform that is “maximally trusted and broadly inclusive” is the right one. This is also @paraga’s goal, and why I chose him. Thank you both for getting the company out of an impossible situation. This is the right path…I believe it with all my heart.”

I’m beginning to like the hippie again.

But the good statements was few and far between.

Here’s this guy on TikTok bitching about Musk ending democracy and implementing fascism.

This guy doesn’t know what fascism and democracy are. Free speech is part of democracy. I would rather belong to a fascist state if it looks like the democracy that I know.

Also, notice these idiots call it fascism when freedoms are given but democracy when freedoms are taken away?

Twitter employees are flipping out.

 

Then there’s this from Bloomberg Business:

Unauthorized changes? Twitter is a publicly traded company and subject to Sarbanes Oxley compliance. Any changes require documentation per regulation.

The best thing Elon Musk could do is fire everyone. I wouldn’t wait six months until the company goes private.

Elizabeth Warren, who hates Musk, tweeted:

She doesn’t have an issue with Jeff Bezos owning the Washington Post.

Pramila Jayapal tweeted:

Actually, that’s just a lie. He paid 30% taxes for a total of $5 billion. That’s the most anybody has ever paid in taxes, ever. the 3.27% taxes is his income combined with his unrealized wealth, which isn’t taxed. He should be prepared for attacks from Leftists in Washington DC and Hollywood.

The ACLU tweeted:

The ACLU has gone straight into the crapper. They used to defend all free speech. They once defended Neo-Nazis and their right to spew anti-Semitic hate. Now, equity  and social justice is more important than free speech.

 

What I Think

Here’s what I think is going to happen:

• No one important is leaving Twitter. It is too big a platform. Anyone who leaves will come back eventually because Musk is going to open discourse.
• There will be attacks against Twitter:
  • The government will try to regulate it. That’s going to be tough to do with a privately traded company.
  • They will try to tax Musk out of existence. That will never pass Congress.
  • Hollywood is already planning propaganda films about Musk, Tesla and Space X.
  • There are going to be investigations.
  • There are going to be accusations.
• Elon Musk is going to make Twitter a ton better.

But, what’s most important, we are winning the culture war.

• CNN+ is gone.
• Netflix is dying.
• Disney is floundering.
• Critical Race Theory and Critical Gender Theory is being eliminated.
• And where CRT and CGT are being pushed, people are leaving those states.

We always could have won the culture war. We just needed to start fighting it.
