Episode 1208 – It’s Election Night! Do You Care?

It’s election night. Do you really care? Well, I still hope you voted.

The Right in Los Angeles just showed the Left how you should REALLY protest!

And let’s talk about the ridiculous trans story of the day (there are actually two) because, hey, it’s Pride Month.

Big Election Tonight

Things could really get shaken up for November elections tonight. Here are the primary elections to pay attention to.

  • In Iowa, incumbent Senator Joni Ernst is not seeking another term, and there are two Republicans and two Democrats in the running to take the position. The winners of the Tuesday primary in Iowa will advance to the general election. US Rep. Ashley Hinson has campaigned with support from Ernst and is running against former state Sen. Jim Carlin, who has talked about his legislative experience and donor independence. For the Democrats, Rep. Josh Turek is running against state Sen. Zach Wahls in the primary.
  • For California Governor. The top contenders from each party appear to be Democrat Xavier Becerra, who served as former President Joe Biden’s Secretary of Health and Human Services, and Republican Steve Hilton, who has been endorsed by President Donald Trump. Other Democrats in the race include billionaire Tom Steyer, Katie Porter, and others.
  • In Montana, Republican Senator Steve Daines is not seeking a third term and has endorsed US Attorney Kurt Alme to replace him. Trump has also endorsed Alme. He also has endorsements from Tim Sheehy and Gov. Greg Gianforte.

I Love This Idea!

What biased reporting:

  • Protest vs. privacy.
  • A stunt.
  • The protester is masked.
  • They care about funding.
  • They care about the kids now?
  • This crosses a line?

It’s Not a Right

A Trump administration policy illegally banned transgender troops from military service, a divided panel of federal appeal court judges ruled on Monday.

The majority opinion by a three-judge panel from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia circuit largely upholds a March 2025 ruling by U.S. District Judge Ana Reyes in Washington, D.C. Reyes concluded that President Donald Trump’s executive order to exclude transgender troops from military service likely violates their constitutional rights.

The administration appealed after Reyes issued a preliminary injunction requested by attorneys for six transgender people who are active-duty service members and two others seeking to join the military. The appeal court’s majority decided that the injunction should be narrowed to the plaintiffs currently serving in the military but not those seeking to join.

The ruling won’t immediately go into effect, allowing the administration time to ask the full appeals court to hear the case.

The U.S. Supreme Court allowed the transgender military ban to go into effect last year, as litigation continues to play out. Another lawsuit challenging the ban was filed in Washington state and led to a ruling in favor of the plaintiffs challenging the policy in that case.

Ridiculous

According to the Post Millennial:

Outdoor retailer Patagonia has revealed that it has offered to resolve its lawsuit against a drag queen that goes by the name “Pattie Gonia” so long as he ceases using the company’s branding in products. The drag queen has refused the company’s offer.

“There’s a lot going around about the lawsuit we filed in January to protect our trademarks, and we owe you an update,” Patagonia wrote in a social media post on Sunday.

“We wish this lawsuit had not been necessary, and we want to acknowledge any hurt it has caused, especially in the LGBTQ+ community. We don’t want to argue trademark law on social media. Importantly, we continue to want to resolve this.”

The company said it would resolve the lawsuit if the drag queen agrees to withdraw “all trademark applications,” cease using the brand’s longtime logo, and cease “selling and promoting apparel and other products as Pattie Gonia.”

“If we can agree on this, we can work out everything else, and Pattie Gonia could continue as a performer and activist. We share common ground with them, including the goal of saving our home planet and creating a more inclusive outdoors,” the statement concluded.

The drag queen responded in a statement to social media on Monday evening, writing, “Patagonia just posted their ‘offer’ to settle. When I told you that they were trying to erase my advocacy, their bullet #3 is what I was talking about: ‘Stopselling and promoting apparel and other products as Pattie Gonia.'”

“Patagonia is not just talking about my upcycled t-shirt merch in that bullet point. They’re talking about the partnership work with other brands that I’ve done for years to pay for the education, advocacy and activism that me and my team do,” the drag queen wrote. “If I can’t do partnerships as Pattie Gonia, it breaks the whole ecosystem of advocacy and community engagement. And they understand this because their work is built on the exact same model – advocacy work funneled through commercial work.”

“Bullet points #1 and #2 – I’ve already said I would agree to. Bullet #3 – absolutely not. No deal, Patagonia,” the drag queen concluded.

Patagonia sued the drag queen in January over a trademark application filed by Pattie Gonia, whose real name is Wyn Wiley, alleging that it will “confuse consumers” and cause irreparable harm to the brand. The brand said that the products and services for which Wiley applied for a trademark “compete directly with the products and advocacy upon which Patagonia built its Patagonia brand for over the last fifty-three years.”

The company claimed that they had reached out to Pattie Gonia and it was “understood that the parties had reached agreement about how that advocacy work might continue in a way that would not interfere with Patagonia’s brand.” This agreement, the filing stated, has not been honored.

Episode 1207 – Ugh, It’s Pride Month!

Riots are happening in New Jersey. Of course, it’s all Trump’s fault.

More news comes out over the Henry Nowak murder in England by a Sikh immigrant.

And reparations are still a thing in New York.

By the way, Happy Pride Month!

This Is Still a Thing

According to Fox News:

Some Black New Yorkers are demanding cash reparations from the government as state officials consider some form of compensation for slavery or other past racial injustices.

“We need $800,000 for each foundation of Black Americans. That’s simple,” Aubrey Muhammud told Fox News Digital. “That’s — in New York — that’s about the cost of living that’ll get you a home or a small business or for you to recover from any financial duress.”

The New York State Community Commission on Reparations Remedies held a public hearing last Saturday. The hearing followed up on when Gov. Kathy Hochul in 2023 signed a bill for a “community commission to study the history of slavery in New York state” to examine “various forms of reparations.”

The Empire State joins several other states and local municipalities looking to issue reparations in some form, compensating Black residents for slavery or other instances of racial injustice. A Chicago suburb — Evanston, Illinois — went as far as paying $25,000 in cash to Black residents to address past racial housing discrimination through its program.

As the state considers reparations to Black Americans or any other group in some form, some advocates of reparations spoke up about the importance of the identity of foundational Black Americans to be recognized.

The public hearing allowed residents to share their experiences for the commission to gather input for their effort to examine past discriminatory policies and slavery in the United States.

Here We Go Again

According to the Daily Wire:

A non-English speaking bus driver killed five people and injured 44 after crashing into stopped traffic along I-95 in Virginia early Friday morning.

The driver, Jing S. Dong, is a Chinese native with U.S. citizenship who received a commercial driver’s license from New York in 2024, according to Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy.

“Unacceptable. This is exactly why we are holding states accountable, enforcing the rules of the road, and cracking down on drivers who can’t speak English,” Duffy wrote on X. “If you can’t be properly trained, read our road signs, or communicate with law enforcement, you have no business driving a bus.”

Dong was allegedly driving the motor coach from New York City to Charlotte, North Carolina, when he failed to stop for slowing traffic and rammed into a Chevrolet Suburban, causing a chain reaction of at least six vehicles, the New York Post reported.

The driver of the Suburban, a 25-year-old woman from Massachusetts, was killed. After the bus slammed into it, the Suburban hit an Acura occupied by a family of four, killing 45-year-old Dmitri Doncev, his 44-year-old wife Ecaterina, their 13-year-old daughter, and 7-year-old son. The young family’s vehicle caught on fire after the collision, the Post reported.

Good Job!

According to the Daily Wire:

A Washington Nationals executive was fired this week after he claimed on a hidden-camera video that an outspoken Christian pitcher was excluded from some of the team’s promotional content because of his religious views.

The Nationals fired Sean Hudson, its director of community relations, after undercover journalist James O’Keefe posted a video showing Hudson admit to blacklisting pitcher Trevor Williams from the team’s social media content.

“One of our pitchers, Trevor Williams, he is very Catholic,” Hudson said on the hidden camera video.

The former Nationals executive then provided an example of why he avoided featuring Williams for the team’s promotional content.

“The Dodgers had a group out to the stadium who were drag queens who sometimes dressed up as nuns. He went on social media [and wrote], ‘This is wrong. This is my religion. You all are mocking it.’ Because of that, we don’t use him on social [media],” Hudson said.

The Los Angeles Dodgers were condemned by Christians across the country, including multiple MLB players, for inviting the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, a drag queen group that mocks Jesus Christ and Christians, to perform at one of their games in 2023.

After Hudson was canned, Washington Nationals President of Business Operations Jason Sinnarajah went on live TV to apologize to Williams and the team’s Christian fans for Hudson’s remarks. He also said Hudson’s comments were false and “don’t reflect us as an organization, our values, who we are.”

Episode 1200 – Sometimes It’s In Their Nature

President Trump is in China today and there are a lot of questions. Let’s talk about it.

The South Carolina Supreme Court overturned the conviction of a convicted murderer.

And The LGBTQ+ cult continues with their fight to normalize perversion and they are finding the useful idiots that will still bend the knees.

  • China could face additional U.S. tariffs if President Donald Trump’s two-day summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping does not produce results, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer warned Wednesday.
    • “If I were President Xi, I would worry if this is an unsuccessful summit after two days that China could be faced with even more tariffs from the United States,” Comer told Fox Business’ “Mornings With Maria.”
    • President Donald Trump could give Beijing major concessions to Xi Jinping during his visit to China, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., warned Wednesday.
    • “We all ought to fear what Donald Trump may concede to China, just so he can claim a headline,” Schumer said Wednesday on the Senate floor.
  • A naturalized U.S. citizen from Iran entered a guilty plea in federal court earlier today, admitting to running a sophisticated human smuggling operation that compromised national security and possessing graphic child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
    • As the Department of Justice reported, Sharon Gohari, who split his time between Roslyn, New York, and Iran, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Ann M. Donnelly to charges of unlawfully smuggling aliens into the United States and the intentional receipt of CSAM.
  • The South Carolina Supreme Court on Wednesday overturned the murder conviction of Alex Murdaugh, who was convicted in March 2023 of double homicide of his wife and son.
    • The court ordered a new trial, saying that Mary Rebecca “Becky” Hill, who served as the court clerk in Colleton County, exercised “improper external influences” during Murdaugh’s first trial.
    • A post-trial court found that Hill “made improper comments to the jurors on the day Murdaugh testified, e.g., ‘this is an important day’ or ‘this is an epic day’ and that they should watch Murdaugh’s body language, on the day  he testified in his own defense.
    • One juror recalled “that Hill told the jurors not to be fooled by the evidence Murdaugh’s defense presented,” according to the document, saying “They’re going to say things that will try to confuse you. Don’t let them confuse you or convince you or throw you off.”
    • The documents say Hill tried to “insert herself into the jury’s deliberations through these comments was in line with her stated desire for a guilty verdict to sell more copies of the book she planned to write.”
  • Judy Walcott, a longtime member of a Planet Fitness location in Concord, New Hampshire, told Fox News Digital she felt unsafe after encountering someone she believed was male in the women’s locker room near the shower area on April 11.
    • Walcott said she reported the incident to a young employee at the front desk, who told her there was nothing staff could do because it was company policy. She claims the employee did not check the locker room while she was present.
    • She said she raised the issue again, four days later, with another staff member because she had safety concerns, but she said the employee called her “transphobic” instead of looking into her claims.

Dumbass of the Day

Crazy Criminals Are Still Criminals

According to Fox News:

32-year-old Rhamell Burke had just been released from a psych ward when he allegedly shoved an elderly man down a flight of stairs to his death Thursday night in Manhattan, according to the New York Post.

Cops detained Burke and took him to Bellevue Hospital on Thursday afternoon, a New York Police Department source told Fox News Digital.

The officers reportedly marked him down as an “emotionally disturbed person,” according to the Post.

But a little over an hour later, Burke was released. Five hours after that, Burke allegedly pushed 76-year-old former teacher Ross Falzone down a flight of subway stairs in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood, killing the elderly man, an NYPD source confirmed to Fox News Digital.

Police told the Post that Burke had been “acting erratically” outside an NYPD station house when they arrested him. He was allegedly wielding a stick that he had grabbed from a garbage can.

This Is Not Very Christian

According to Fox News:

Some of the country’s most prominent Catholic colleges and universities are holding separate LGBTQ-affirming graduation ceremonies this spring, including one that also plans to include a drag performance.

At least 20 colleges or universities associated with the Catholic Church have held, or plan to hold, these “lavender graduation” ceremonies and celebrations, which are done separate from the main commencement ceremony and are intended to “honor and celebrate the achievements of our LGBTQ+ graduates,” according to a Fox News Digital review of university websites and social media posts.

The term “lavender” has been used to describe LGBTQ+ affiliations amongst the gay community for decades, but the phrase has also carried a loaded meaning in Catholic circles, where critics have used it in phrases like “lavender mafia” to refer to alleged homosexual networks within Church institutions.

The schools that have held, or plan to hold these graduation events, include Georgetown, Gonzaga, the University of San Francisco, Boston College, College of the Holy Cross, Fordham, Fairfield University, Marquette, Xavier, Seattle University, Saint Louis University, Loyola Marymount, Santa Clara University, St. John’s, Albertus Magnus College, St. Mary’s College of California, Regis University, Siena Heights University, St. Thomas University and Our Lady of the Lake University.

The ceremonies sparked criticism from Catholic watchdog the Cardinal Newman Society, an education advocacy group focused on ensuring Catholic schools uphold traditional church teachings. The society, which first highlighted several of the “lavender” ceremonies taking place this year, argues that the events promote an ideology at odds with the church’s teaching.

In reality, taxpayer-funded tablets have also been used for more lurid endeavors. In this exclusive City Journal investigation, we contacted dozens of death-row inmates, who told us that prisoners in the state system use such devices to watch pornography and have explicit sexual conversations. Some prisoners, according to a former high-ranking California corrections official, use their tablets to groom minors. Though the state has claimed to regulate explicit content, the inmates told us that users can easily evade detection.

When reached for comment, the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation said the tablets were “tightly controlled education tools” that provided inmates with “access to the Bible, education, and reentry resources that actually reduce crime.”

But inmates told us a different story. For some, the devices have become personal sex machines. In the words of one inmate, California’s death row is populated with desperately “horny” criminals who see the tablets as a way to satisfy their basest fantasies and desires—all thanks to the California taxpayer.

    • Peace talks with Iran were expected to begin in Pakistan on Tuesday, but recent reports from Iranian state media have thrown the meetings into doubt.
    • The command of Iran’s military, Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, offered an explanation for why Iranian forces did not fight back: “Due to the presence of some family members of the ship’s crew, they faced constraints in order to protect their lives and ensure their safety, as they were in danger at every moment.”
  • A Louisiana man who murdered eight children, seven of them his own and one a cousin of the children, had two prior convictions. One of convictions was due to his commission of a previous shooting near a school. The children were all under 11 years old.
    • The 31-year-old posted a picture of himself with one of his daughters just hours before killing the children execution style. He killed most of them in their beds and one as he tried to escape.

They’re Learning

According to the Daily Wire:

Disney World just took a giant step away from wokeness with a small change in its parks that has the normies cheering.

According to park visitors, the automated announcements are once again using the phrase “Ladies and Gentlemen.” This is a change from the parks originally pivoting to use more “inclusive” language on their properties.

The revelation about Disney’s foray into progressivism came in 2022 when journalist Chris Rufo released video recordings from employee all-hands meetings at the company. One of the clips showed Vivian Ware, who was at the time serving as Disney’s diversity and inclusion manager, explaining how Disney altered gendered greetings and language in its theme parks for live spiels and other aspects of the park in 2021.

“We trained, we provided training for all of our cast members in relationship to that. So now they know it’s ‘Hello, everyone,’ or ‘Hello, friends,’” Ware explained.

“We don’t want to just assume because someone might be, in our interpretation, may be presenting as female, that they may not want to be called ‘princess,’” she went on. “So let’s think differently about how do we really engage with our guests in a meaningful and inclusive way that makes it magical and memorable for everyone.”

Deport Him

According to the Daily Wire:

Legal advisers have been telling migrants from Muslim countries to pose as gay to be granted asylum in Britain, with some lawyers going as far as coaching migrants on how to fabricate photos and come up with their own back stories, the BBC reported on Wednesday.

The BBC’s undercover investigation revealed how legal advisers are raking in cash by helping migrants from Pakistan and Bangladesh apply for asylum by claiming to be gay, which would put them at risk of persecution in their home countries.

One BBC reporter went undercover to a meeting organized by a group that claims to support gay and lesbian asylum seekers. Around 175 people attended the meeting put on by Worcester LGBT, but it appeared that none of them actually identified as lesbian or gay.

“Most of the people here are not gays,” one man said, according to the BBC.

Another man replied, “Nobody is a gay here. Not even 1% are gay. Not even 0.01% are gay.”

The BBC reporter posed as a migrant seeking asylum and met multiple times with an adviser for Worcester LGBT named Tanisa. For their first meeting, the reporter met with Tanisa at her house and was invited to her bedroom to chat. Tanisa sat on her bed as she told the undercover journalist that he should apply for asylum as a gay man, but the reporter quickly informed Tanisa that he wasn’t gay.

Yeah, She’s Lying

According to the Post Millennial:

Rep. Ilhan Omar has denied being a millionaire and has now claimed that her net worth is actually under $100,000 in a new disclosure filing. This comes after a filing of up to $30 millon net worth was revised down to a significantly smaller amount.

Omar has blamed an accounting error for her disclosure last year that said she and her husband held assets between $6 million and $30 million. The Wall Street Journal reported that in an amended filing, Omar and her husband’s assets are supposedly $18,004 and $95,000,

“The amended disclosure confirms what we’ve said all along: The congresswoman is not a millionaire,” Omar spokesperson Jacklyn Rogers told the reporters, adding that the filing was corrected “as soon as the discrepancy was identified.”

The amended filing followed a request for more information from the Office of Congressional Conduct this year.

Omar’s lawyer claimed that the filing was inaccurate and that it was the fault of an accountant.

“As the busiest of people, it is very common for members and their spouses to rely on learned professionals like accountants to make calculations and determinations that appear on public filings,” the attorney said. “While the error is of course unfortunate, there is nothing untoward and nothing illegal has occurred.”

Episode 1192 – It’s Tax Day! Yay!

Yesterday was tax day! Yay! Wait until you see what they are doing with your money.

Pete Hegseth is on the bad side of a Democratic senator. I’m pretty sure he’s going to ignore her.

And Democrats are already showing what their platform in going to be for the 2026 elections. Will it work?

Have Any of These Guys Read the Constitution?

According to The Hill:

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.), the ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, introduced a bill on Tuesday that would establish a commission to examine whether the president is fit to serve in office.

More than 70 Democrats called for President Trump’s removal from office after he issued a series of blistering threats against Iran last week, including a stark warning that a “whole civilization will die” if Tehran didn’t strike a peace deal.

Raskin’s bill would establish a “Commission on Presidential Capacity to Discharge the Powers and Duties of the Office,” which, if directed by Congress, “shall carry out a medical examination of the President to determine whether the President is mentally or physically unable to discharge the powers and duties of the office.”

The commission is intended to carry out section 4 of the 25th Amendment, which says that the vice president should serve as acting president if he and a majority of the Cabinet or “such other body as Congress may by law provide” submit a written declaration to the Speaker of the House and president pro tempore of the Senate that the president “is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office.”

While the bill is unlikely to advance in the GOP-controlled Congress, it underscores Democrats’ efforts to push back against the Trump administration.

Bet You’re Thrilled About This

It’s None of Your Business

According to NBC News:

A prominent Democratic senator on the committee that oversees the Pentagon is requesting additional information from the Defense Department following reports that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is withholding the promotions of several Black and female senior officers.

She ain’t that “prominent.”

NBC News reported last week that Hegseth had blocked or delayed promotions for more than a dozen Black and female senior officers across all four branches of the military. Some of those efforts are seen as having been targeted because of their race or gender, or their perceived affiliation with the Biden administration’s policies or officials, according to NBC news reporting that cited nine U.S. officials familiar with the matter.

Gee, I wonder why they were targeted? Could it be that they were given their positions because they were black or female and not not because they were qualified for their positions?

Hegseth’s actions have raised concern inside the White House, the Pentagon and on Capitol Hill, according to U.S and congressional officials. Some lawmakers, including both Republicans and Democrats, see the decisions as Hegseth taking too far his efforts to scrub the Pentagon of diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, according to the officials.

Nope, I guarantee you the White House, Senate, and House don’t care. That’s because it’s not their job to make promotion decisions. Definitely not Republicans. And, yes, Hegseth is wiping out DEI. Trump ran on that.

This is just another attention-getter from another wannabe-presidential candidate that will probably lead to wailing about impeachment.

According to the Post Millennial:

A federal court has stripped a naturalized US citizen of his citizenship after finding he lied about a history of serious criminal activity, including violent extortion, during the naturalization process.

The Justice Department announced that Michael Pizzuti, a native of Italy, had his citizenship revoked by the US District Court for the Southern District of New York after the court determined he illegally obtained it by concealing crimes and providing false testimony under oath.

Pizzuti failed to meet the “good moral character” requirement for citizenship, having committed multiple crimes and then lying about them during his immigration proceedings. The court also found that he engaged in fraudulent concealment and willful misrepresentation of material facts.

Pizzuti’s criminal activity dates back to the late 1990s. From July 1998 through August 2000, he dealt in counterfeit currency, trafficked contraband cigarettes, and participated in a conspiracy involving truck theft and mail fraud. He was arrested and indicted on those charges in December 2001, later pleading guilty and receiving a 15-month prison sentence.

Despite that arrest, Pizzuti moved forward with his naturalization process just months later. On May 2, 2002, less than five months after his indictment, Pizzuti appeared for his citizenship interview and falsely claimed, under oath, that he had never been arrested and had not committed any crimes for which he had not been arrested. Based on those statements, he was granted US citizenship on July 24, 2002.

But his criminal conduct didn’t stop there. Between May and September 2001, Pizzuti carried out a violent extortion scheme against his financial advisor after discovering the advisor had been running a Ponzi scheme using his money. Prosecutors say Pizzuti broke into the man’s home, held him at gunpoint, and forced him to continue the scheme until enough funds were generated to repay his investment. He also destroyed computer records to cover up his actions.

Pizzuti was later convicted in 2005 on charges of violent extortion and obstruction of justice, after he had already been granted citizenship, and was sentenced to more than 17 years in prison.
“Violent criminals like this have no place in our society, and when they lie about those crimes to obtain US citizenship, this Administration will stop at nothing to correct that travesty,” said Assistant Attorney General Brett A. Shumate.

Episode 1191 – The Left Hates Christians!

The Biden Justice department has not been playing well with others.

An anti-abortion father profits from the misdeeds of the Biden administration.

And New York isn’t learning a bloody thing about the Biden administration’s mistakes.

Who’s Weaponizing the Justice Department?

The article argues that the Biden Justice Department closely coordinated with major abortion-rights organizations to monitor, build cases against, and secure harsher penalties for peaceful pro-life activists using the FACE Act, while downplaying attacks on pro-life centers and religious opponents of abortion.

Core claims

  • The piece says internal DOJ emails, released in a Trump-era report, show senior Biden DOJ official Sanjay Patel treating an activist at the National Abortion Federation (NAF) as an “MVP” for flagging pro-life protests in real time and connecting her directly with FBI agents to spur FACE Act investigations and prosecutions.
  • According to the article, pro-abortion groups such as NAF, Planned Parenthood, and the Feminist Majority Foundation compiled and sent “dossiers” on pro-life activists to DOJ, including home addresses, photos of family members, travel plans, social media posts, associates, and even driver’s license numbers, years before some were charged.

Monitoring and prosecutions

  • The report described in the article claims Patel and the DOJ “monitored” certain pro-life families, like Calvin Zastrow’s, for years by tracking their social media and travel and by asking NAF for updates on where they might protest next, before later indicting them under the FACE Act for sit-ins and blockades at clinics in states like Tennessee and Michigan.
  • The article emphasizes that many of those prosecuted under Biden were engaged in activities it characterizes as peaceful—praying, singing, and sitting in front of clinic doors—yet some received multi‑year prison sentences, which the Trump DOJ now contrasts with lighter average sentences for pro‑abortion defendants in FACE‑related cases.

Alleged bias and disdain for religion

  • The Daily Wire piece highlights language from DOJ attorneys as evidence of hostility toward religious pro‑lifers, including descriptions of Christian pro‑life beliefs as “culty” and an email complaining about drawing a “very Catholic magistrate” who was careful about defendants’ First Amendment rights.
  • It further notes that, per the Trump report, Biden‑era task force lawyers were in “constant contact” with abortion clinics and advocacy groups yet had no contact with pro‑life pregnancy centers until months after a surge in vandalism and attacks against those centers following the Dobbs leak.

Relationship with abortion groups

  • The article says DOJ officials not only relied on abortion-rights groups for intelligence but also tried to help at least one such group, NAF, obtain private grant funding, with a DOJ lawyer asking ethics officers if they could vouch on DOJ letterhead that NAF was “valuable to our law enforcement efforts.”
  • The Trump report, as summarized, criticizes this as a conflict of interest: DOJ lawyers allegedly took an interest in the financial success of entities that were simultaneously shaping the department’s enforcement targets.

Trump administration response

  • The article frames the new 800‑page Trump DOJ report as part of a broader effort to “correct” Biden-era weaponization of the FACE Act, pointing to Trump’s early pardons of convicted pro-life activists and a recent seven‑figure settlement with pro‑life leader Mark Houck after his FACE Act prosecution and FBI raid.
  • It concludes that, taken together, the emails and report show a DOJ that partnered with abortion activists to pursue religious, pro‑life Americans while giving comparatively less attention to crimes against pregnancy centers and churches.

Justice Has Been Done!

According to Fox News:

A pro-life activist whose 2022 arrest by the FBI under the Biden administration drew national headlines has reached a seven-figure settlement after suing the Justice Department over his arrest and prosecution.

Mark Houck filed a lawsuit against the department in 2023 seeking restitution for what he called “a faulty investigation” and “excessive force” after a SWAT team of around 25 people arrested him in front of his children at his home on Sept. 23, 2022, allegedly with guns drawn.

The shocking details of his arrest spurred criticism from conservatives that the Justice Department under then-President Joe Biden was targeting pro-life activists.

After a three-year legal battle, 40 Days for Life President Shawn Carney announced April 9 that Houck had reached a settlement with the Department of Justice under President Donald Trump and had been awarded more than $1 million.

An Attack on Catholics! I’m Shocked!

According to Fox News:

Catholic nuns who have spent more than a century caring for the dying poor are suing New York Gov. Kathy Hochul, saying a new state law could force them to choose between their faith and their mission or face fines, loss of licensing and even jail time.

“We are consecrated religious Sisters and have one mission,” Mother Marie Edward, O.P., told Fox News Digital in a statement. “It is to provide comfort and skilled care to persons dying of cancer who cannot afford nursing care. We do not take insurance or government funds or money from our patients or families. The care is totally free.”

“We are supported by the goodness of our benefactors,” she continued. “We do this without discriminating on the basis of race, religion, or sex. We do it because Jesus taught us that, when the least among us are sick, we should care for them, as if they were Christ himself.”

Signed into law on Nov. 30, 2023, the “Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender, and people living with HIV long-term care facility residents’ bill of rights” bans long-term care facilities and staff “from discriminating against any resident on the basis of a resident’s actual or perceived sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or HIV status,” according to a press release from Hochul’s office.

The Dominican Sisters of Hawthorne, who run Rosary Hill Home in Hawthorne, New York, filed a lawsuit Tuesday against the law they say would require them to assign rooms by gender identity, not biological sex; allow access to opposite-sex bathrooms; allow expression, relationships and identity practices; use preferred pronouns; require staff training in gender ideology; and post a public notice stating compliance with the law.

Edward told Fox News Digital that “New York’s gender ideology mandates not only violate our Catholic values, they threaten our existence with fines, injunctions, license revocation, and even jail time. This is why we were forced to go to court to seek protection of our religious exercise and freedom of speech so that we can continue our ministry to the poor.”

The letters listed New York’s demands and included a training curriculum “requiring the sisters to align patient care and the training of their sisters and employees with the State’s gender ideology.”

If the Dominican Sisters of Hawthorne do not comply, they face fines up to $2,000 per violation — rising to $5,000 — court-ordered forced compliance, loss of licensing and up to one year in prison and fines up to $10,000.

In their lawsuit, the sisters highlighted that during the four-year reporting period from Feb. 1, 2022, through Jan. 31, 2026, the New York State Department of Health had received “zero complaints” from Rosary Hill Home residents, compared with “more than 55,000 complaints against other nursing homes,” and an average of 23 citations per facility during the same period.

Episode 1172 – Rest in Peace, Lou!

Boots may be on the ground in Iran, but not American boots.

A horrible story comes out of Miami and there are some big questions we should ask.

And football loses one of its greatest coaches.

News

Here is some news:

  • Legendary Notre Dame football coach Lou Holtz has died at the age of 89, the university announced on Wednesday.
    • Holtz was considered one of the most influential coaches in college football history, winning 249 games as a collegiate head coach. He began his coaching career at William & Mary in 1969 and spent one season in the NFL before returning to college football.
    • One hundred of those wins happened at Notre Dame, where he served as head coach from 1986 until 1996.
    • Holtz was also a close friend and longtime supporter of Donald Trump. The president honored Holtz with the Presidential Medal of Freedom in December of 2020 for his contributions to the nation.
  • The Supreme Court ruled unanimously on Wednesday that federal appeals courts must defer to immigration judges when reviewing asylum decisions.
    • The court’s ruling, written by Biden-appointed Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, stated that immigration laws require federal courts to use a “substantial-evidence standard” when reviewing immigration judges’ decisions regarding whether an asylum seeker would face “persecution” if deported from the country.
    • Jackson noted that courts must meet a high bar before overturning an immigration judge’s findings. “the agency’s determination whether a given set of undisputed facts rises to the level of persecution under §1101(a)(42)(A) is generally ‘conclusive unless any reasonable adjudicator would be compelled to conclude to the contrary.’”
  • The Senate voted against a resolution that would have required President Donald Trump to seek congressional approval before taking further military action in Iran.
  • Boot are on the ground in Iran. The Kurds, a group located in the western portion of Iran and have been contained by the IGRC have joined the fight.
  • Britain and France may have to join the fight in Iran because of an attack of a British base in Cyprus and attacking French bases.

The Padres Have Enough Problems

According to the New York Post:

Once California tax laws entered the equation, two was greater than three for Merrill Kelly.

The math was done by the veteran pitcher at some point this offseason, when he was a free agent deciding between two options for his MLB future.

No. 1 was a two-year, $40 million contract with the Diamondbacks. No. 2, at least on paper, seemed better.

It was a three-year, fully guaranteed deal with the Padres that appeared to have a similar average annual value.

Kelly, though, chose the former — and during a sitdown interview with Foul Territory’s Scott Braun and A.J. Pierzynski this week, he explained the decision was almost entirely due to the Golden State’s tax system.

“I don’t think it’s any secret on how much money you get taken out of your pocket when you go to California,” the 37-year-old right-hander said.

There were, of course, other factors that pulled Kelly toward Arizona. He went to high school at Desert Mountain in Scottsdale and played collegiately at Arizona State.

And, the father of two young kids has called the Phoenix area home while logging innings for the Snakes in each of the past seven seasons.

“Coming back here,” he admitted, “it was always the priority.”

But after Pierzynski jokingly told him he was “the first person ever that’s been offered a bunch of money to go live in San Diego and said no,” Kelly made it crystal clear that giving away a significant portion of his income to a state government was ultimately a dealbreaker for him.

“I love San Diego,” Kelly said. “It’s just, like I said, they take too much money out of my pocket, man. The taxes over there are a different level.

What A Shock

According to the New York Post:

The number of properties sold in California over the past three years was 24% lower than the same time period before the Great Recession, sparking fears of a statewide crash.

The Golden State had 954,423 property sales in 2023-25, down from 1.25 million in 2007-2009, according to figures from real estate data provider Attom.

That means homebuying in California was 24% slower over the past three years than it was in the run-up to the apocalyptic housing crash that triggered the Great Recession.

California’s sales pace over the past three years is down 31% compared to the previous 18 years, while the nationwide drop was 6%.

But while the statewide median property price plummeted 55% — from nearly $600,000 in 2007 to roughly $275,000 in 2009 — prices have actually increased over the past three years, the Orange County Register’s business columnist Jon Lansner reported.

California’s median home price rose 9% from December 2022 to December 2025, reaching $710,000, just 5% below its all-time high.

When the subprime mortgage market collapsed, many homeowners couldn’t find a buyer and walked away from their houses after foreclosures, as the Fed lowered interest rates.

As people were forced out of homes they couldn’t afford, the resulting oversupply tanked property values.

But the current Mexican standoff in California stems from the lock-in effect: owners with 3% mortgage rates refuse to sell and move into a new 7% rate, keeping the market frozen.

Sellers reluctant to lose their low rates and buyers unable to afford high ones result in today’s stagnant market, keeping prices high because inventory is scarce.

On top of that, the first-time buyer affordability index shows less than a third of California households could qualify for a starter home in 2023-25.

Only 30% of households in the state qualified, down from 49% in 2007-09, according to figures from the California Association of Realtors.

Earlier this year, 30-year mortgage rates dipped below 6% for the first time since 2022, offering potential relief to would-be homeowners.

But Lansner warned that no rapid price correction is likely.

In the three years after the Great Recession, California housing sales grew by just 8% while home prices recovered by 15% through the end of 2012, according to official figures.

He Shouldn’t Be Running

According to the California Post:

An elementary school in Fresno was forced to file a police report after a child sex offender running for city council held a press conference just steps away.

Rene Campos, 41, a candidate in Fresno City Council‘s District 7 race, spoke Friday on a street outside St. John’s Cathedral to address outrage over his past, the Fresno Bee reported.

He was about 10 feet away from Big Picture Elementary School, a public charter school, which later contacted local cops.

Until 2015, under Jessica’s Law, California prohibited registered sex offenders from living within 2,000ft of any school or park in the state.

The law was later declared unconstitutional by the California Supreme Court, which ruled that residency restrictions must be applied on a case-by-case basis.

It remains unclear whether Campos is subject to any specific court orders, restraining orders or individualized restrictions related to his offense, or whether his limitations fall solely under California’s general sex offender registration requirements.

Campos, who is running to unseat incumbent Nelson Esparza, has not publicly clarified the scope of any conditions that may apply to him. The Post reached out for comment.

Esparza said the council is considering legislation to prevent people like Campos from seeking office. Other city leaders were also furious.

A Hero!

According to the New York Post:

A Nashville elementary school has cleared the record of a first-grade teacher who was disciplined for refusing to read a book about same-sex marriage to his young students, according to a report.

KIPP Antioch College Prep Elementary issued a “final warning letter” to teacher Eric Rivera in January after he declined to read an LGBTQ book to his class that was included in the language arts curriculum.

Due to his Christian beliefs, Rivera said he could not in good conscience read the book to his class, according to legal group First Liberty Institute, and he asked a colleague to read the book instead.

The next day, Rivera was summoned to the principal’s office and threatened with termination. He was told he must maintain “fidelity” to the curriculum, and a discipline letter was placed in his personnel file.

First Liberty said Rivera had received no prior warnings and had no discipline history. Afterward, he asked for a religious accommodation but was instead reassigned to a lab and technology position and then to a kindergarten position, according to the legal group.

After facing a warning letter from First Liberty in February, KIPP Antioch agreed to clear the incident from Rivera’s record, according to a press release Monday from the legal group.

The school will now also allow “all teachers to ask another employee to read materials objectionable to their faith.”

This Probably Is Not Going to Fix Anything

According to the California Post:

The effort to breathe boozy life back into the state’s struggling downtown comes courtesy of a pair of San Francisco lawmakers who want to let cities create special zones where bars and restaurants can serve drinks until 4 a.m., two hours past the legal closing time.

“The nightlife economy is responsible in our state without a doubt for tens of billions of dollars in revenue, hundreds of thousands of jobs,” Matt Haney, a Democratic state assemblyman who introduced the bill, told CBS News.

The COVID-19 pandemic significantly impacted the number of people visiting businesses in downtowns across the Golden State. California cities are recovering at different rates, but none have reached the levels saw in 2019.

“Getting people back out in the streets is key to the economic recovery of cities across California,” said Wiener, a Democratic state senator who introduced the bill along with Haney.

“By creating Entertainment Zones, we’re giving people a reason to go back to areas where recovery has been slow while creating a vital new revenue stream for bars and restaurants.”

Should the bill pass, bars would need to pay an extra $2,500 each year for a permit to sell alcohol until 4 a.m.

“When the sun goes down, there is so much that is economic and culturally important,” Haney told CBS News.

Here We Go Again

According to the Daily Wire:

Two people were killed and at least three others critically injured after a man who identifies as a woman opened fire at a high school hockey game in Rhode Island.

Pawtucket Police Chief Tina Goncalves confirmed in a Monday evening press conference that Robert Dorgan, who goes by the name Roberta Esposito, killed himself after what she said was likely a targeted shooting stemming from a family dispute. A clip circulating on social media appears to show Dorgan’s daughter leaving a police station and telling reporters that her father “shot my family” and “he’s dead now.” The woman added that Dorgan “has mental health issues,” and “was very sick.”

Court records from 2020 confirm that Dorgan had undergone gender reassignment surgery. Dorgan claimed to North Providence Police at the time that his father-in-law attempted to throw him out of the house following his surgery. Around that time, Dorgan’s wife filed for divorce, initially citing “gender reassignment surgery, narcissistic + personality disorder traits” as the reason before crossing them out and writing “irreconcilable differences.”

Authorities have not publicly identified the victims, nor have they confirmed the precise relationships involved in the apparent family dispute. Police have also not released information about the weapon used.

This is the latest shooting perpetrated by a transgender-identifying attacker. Earlier this month, a man who identified as a woman and wore a dress killed 10 people at a Canadian school. Transgender-identifying shooters perpetrated deadly attacks on schools in Nashville in 2023 and in Minneapolis in 2025. The latter attack was the subject of the last question Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk was asked when he was assassinated in September.

They Deserve This

According to the Post Millennial:

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani has announced his preliminary budget, saying that in order to raise enough tax revenue to fill the gap in New York City‘s budget, New York Governor Kathy Hochul will have to allow him to raise taxes on the wealthiest New Yorkers and corporations, or that the tax burden will be passed onto property taxes, which would increase costs for everyday New Yorkers. The funding would primarily go to social services, as Mamdani presented on Tuesday.

Here he is during a press conference yesterday:

Mamdani said that Hochul and Albany should raise income taxes on those earning over $1 million a year and the “most profitable corporations.”

Mamdani, when asked about the prospect of raising property taxes, said that it should be a “last resort” and that the tax increases would have to be imposed on those who are the wealthiest in the city. The proposal, as a “last resort,” would be a raise of property taxes by 9.5 percent.

Without pursuing either of those two options, Mamdani said that the revenue gap would stay at around $4.7 billion.

Some facts:

  • The budget has a deficit this year of $3.5 billion.
  • He wants to spend another $1.2 billion.
  • The city has spent $3.75 billion on illegal aliens.
  • The total budget for New York is about $110-120 billion.
Property classTypical use2025–26 NYC tax rate (approx.)
Class 11–3 family homes, small residentialAbout 19.8% of assessed valuenyc+1
Class 2Large residential, co-ops, condosAbout 12.4–12.5% of assessed valuenyc+2
Class 3Utility and special franchise propertyAbout 11.1% of assessed valuenyc+2
Class 4Commercial/industrial (offices, stores)About 10.8–10.9% of assessed valuenyc

How your bill is actually calculated

For a given property in NYC, the tax bill is roughly:

  • Assessed value (after assessment rules, caps, and exemptions) × class tax rate = base tax.
  • Then NYC applies any exemptions or abatements (e.g., STAR, co‑op/condo abatements, senior/disabled homeowner exemptions) to reduce the bill.

Example: If a Class 1 home has an assessed value of 100,000 (not market value), the property tax before exemptions would be roughly 19,800 for the year at a 19.8% rate.

Episode 1162 – DEI IS Toxic Empathy and Racist!

Canada has a mass shooting in a school. Canada is giving up the real story without saying it.

California loses another high-profile name because of its tax policies.

And a judge makes a common sense decision concerning ICE.

News

Here is some news:

  • A major mass shooting occurred on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, in the small community of Tumbler Ridge in northeastern British Columbia, Canada, with at least nine people killed and more than two dozen injured at a secondary school and a nearby home.
  • Facebook and Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg has become the latest tech billionaire to ditch California in search of greener pastures and has ended up in Florida. The move from Zuckerberg comes as California is considering a 5 percent tax on the ultra-wealthy in the state.
  • The Federal Aviation Administration lifted a flight restriction that had grounded all flights to and from El Paso International Airport in Texas on Wednesday, after previously warning that the U.S. government “may use deadly force” against any aircraft in violation.
    • A Trump administration official told Fox News that the initial lockdown came in response to “Mexican cartel drones” that breached U.S. airspace.
    • The FAA had announced Wednesday morning that all flights to and from El Paso were being grounded, including commercial, cargo and general aviation. The restriction was initially set to be effective from February 10 at 11:30 p.m. MST to February 20 at 11:30 p.m. MST.
  • January jobs report came out.
    • 130,000 private sector jobs were created. Unemployment went down to 4.3%.
    • There was an adjustment for the year 2025, down 425,000 jobs.
  • Wages have gone up beyond the inflation rate, but not a lot.
    • Prices are not going to go down to 2019 levels. Unfortunately, inflation wasn’t transitory.

Because It’s Unconstitutional?

According to the Daily Wire:

A federal judge ruled Monday that California can’t enforce a law banning federal immigration agents from wearing masks.

Judge Christina A. Snyder from the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California ruled that California’s “No Secret Police Act” both discriminates against the federal government for solely applying to federal law enforcement and violates its power granted by the Constitution’s Supremacy Clause.

Democratic California Governor Gavin Newsom signed the law in September to ban Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents from wearing masks while making arrests, forcing them to show their faces. The Department of Homeland Security quickly jumped to condemn the law, calling it “a flagrant attempt to endanger” federal officers.

ICE agents currently face a more than 1,000% increase in assaults, a surge in doxxing efforts, and a roughly 8,000% jump in death threats, according to the Department of Homeland Security.

Toxic Empathy

According to Perplexity:

In February 2026, Davis sharply reduced the sentence that a Jefferson County jury recommended for defendant Christopher Earl Thompson, convicted of a 2023 kidnapping, armed robbery, and sexual assault in Louisville. The jury reportedly recommended a 65‑year sentence, but Davis imposed 30 years, citing the defendant’s age and potential for rehabilitation, while adding more than four years for his contemptuous conduct toward the court.

The case involved Thompson abducting a woman in her own vehicle, forcing her to perform oral sex at gunpoint, robbing her at an ATM, and sexually assaulting her again, with DNA evidence tying him to the crime. Local Republicans, including Louisville Metro Council Minority Caucus Chair Anthony Piagentini, publicly denounced the reduced sentence, arguing it disrespected the jury’s decision and endangered public safety.

That’s What Los Angeles Needs!

According to the New York Post:

A radical left-wing group in Los Angeles has published a shocking 40-page roadmap to transform the nation’s second-largest city into a bizarre socialist experiment.

The Democratic Socialists of America’s LA chapter wants to straight-up seize private property through a “creative use of eminent domain,” take control of your neighborhood grocery store, and replace cops with unarmed social workers while shutting down jails.

The 3,500 member group has already helped elect several candidates to local office, and previously backed Nithya Raman, a DSA-member now running for mayor. They openly trash the Democratic Party establishment as capitalist sellouts and want to build “working class power” through what they call a “socialist mass organization.”

The manifesto, published in 2025 is more than 9,000-words long and gives an insight into the policies that a potential Mayor Raman has signed up to as a DSA member and could try to implement in LA. It targets the “status quo coalition” of elected officials, real estate developers, billionaires, nonprofits, and even some union leaders who’ve supposedly sold out workers.

They think they can actually pull this off in six to eight years through local elections and organizing.

“We are on the burning edge of the economic, climate, and moral crises that define this generation,” the manifesto warns, adding ominously: “The choice remains socialism or barbarism.”

So, what are the goals of the Democratic Socialists of America?

  • Seizing privately owned housing using eminent domain to seize private property and convert to public/social housing
  • Build city-owned municipal enterprises and expropriate corporations in essential industries (grocery, restaurants, internet, etc.)
  • Decommission Men’s Central Jail and don’t replace with any carceral facilities
  • Execute shift to 100% renewable energy by 2035 — complete fossil fuel elimination in 11 years
  • Make all public transportation free (buses, trains, bike share)
  • Publicly acquire and operate all energy systems — full public takeover of utilities
  • Reclaim private and public golf courses via zoning/legislative means for housing/parks
  • Divest public pension investments from war profiteers, defense contractors, and fossil fuel companies
  • Replace armed police with unarmed alternatives for traffic enforcement and mental health crises
  • End all contracts between public agencies and corporations profiting from war/fossil fuels (including Metro’s contracts)
  • Ban all unhosted short-term rentals (Airbnb, etc.)
  • Prosecute and permanently decertify all cops who kill
  • Noncitizen voting in all local elections
  • Vacancy tax on empty housing units
  • Universal rent control statewide
  • Automatic rent freezes and eviction moratoriums with any state of emergency
  • Decriminalize all drug use and fund safe injection sites
  • Restore voting rights for all former felons
  • End all means-testing for child development programs

Episode 1148 – This Is a Start

The Trump administration is trying to limit immigration to the United States and GET RID of those who don’t belong here. Good for him

An Iranian dissident points to the problems with the US media when it comes to the Iranian uprising.

And we have some sound bites that are just amazing and showing how insane the Left is.

Should Have Been Done Before

According to the Post Millennial:

The Trump administration is ending Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for those from Somalia living in the US. Those Somalis that have been living in the US under TPS will be required to go back to their country starting on March 17 later this year.

“Temporary means temporary,” DHS Secretary Kristi Noem said in a statement. “Country conditions in Somalia have improved to the point that it no longer meets the law’s requirement for Temporary Protected Status.”

“Further, allowing Somali nationals to remain temporarily in the United States is contrary to our national interests,” Noem added, per Fox News. “We are putting Americans first.” According to the outlet, there are 2,471 Somalis living in the US with TPS, and there are also 1,383 in the country with pending TPS applications as well. The move from the Trump administration comes as ICE is carrying out surged immigration enforcement operations in Minnesota amid the fallout of a widespread fraud scandal in the state.

The issue, although it has been developing for some time, was highlighted by a viral report from independent reporter Nick Shirley, who went to Minnesota to uncover fraud at daycare centers, many of them being run by the Somali population. Roughly $9 billion in fraud schemes have plagued the state, with more reportedly left to uncover.

There are around 600 Somalis with TPS status living in Minnesota. The country of Somalia was granted TPS in 1991 when there was an ongoing civil war in the nation. President Joe Biden had extended TPS status for Somalis in 2024.

According to Perplexity:

Trump has ordered a pause on processing immigrant visas for 75 countries, not all visas, and it is framed as targeting people deemed likely to use public benefits.

What the policy does

  • The State Department will suspend processing of new immigrant visas for applicants from 75 countries whose nationals are categorized as likely to require public assistance (a “public charge”) after arriving in the U.S.
  • The pause is described as indefinite and is part of the Trump administration’s broader immigration and travel restrictions that have expanded since 2025.

Who is and isn’t affected

  • The suspension applies to immigrant visas, i.e., people seeking to live permanently in the United States as lawful permanent residents.
  • Short-term visas for tourists, students, and other temporary visitors are not covered by this specific suspension, though these categories may be affected by other travel-ban rules or background vetting.

Which countries are included

  • Reporting indicates that the list of 75 countries includes places such as Afghanistan, Brazil, Egypt, Iran, Russia, and Somalia, among others.
  • Major outlets have published maps and full country lists; these show coverage across multiple regions (Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, and parts of Asia and Eastern Europe).

Official justification and context

  • The administration and State Department say the pause is meant to protect U.S. taxpayers by limiting immigration from people judged likely to depend on welfare or other public assistance.
  • It follows earlier Trump-era travel bans and visa restrictions justified on security and vetting grounds, which together now touch dozens of countries through either full bans or partial limits.

Practical implications and next steps

  • Consular posts will stop issuing new immigrant visas in these countries once the policy takes effect (reports say as early as the week of January 21, 2026).
  • Lawsuits and legal challenges are likely, as immigrant-rights groups and some affected families argue the “public charge” rationale is discriminatory and overly broad.

The State Department list has been published by multiple outlets and immigration law firms, and it is the same 75 countries across sources.

Full list of 75 countries

These are the countries subject to the immigrant visa suspension:

Afghanistan; Albania; Algeria; Antigua and Barbuda; Armenia; Azerbaijan; Bahamas; Bangladesh; Barbados; Belarus; Belize; Bhutan; Bosnia and Herzegovina; Brazil; Burma/Myanmar; Cambodia; Cameroon; Cape Verde; Colombia; Congo; Cuba; Dominica; Democratic Republic of the Congo; Egypt; Eritrea; Ethiopia; Fiji; Gambia; Georgia; Ghana; Grenada; Guatemala; Guinea; Haiti; Iran; Iraq; Ivory Coast (Côte d’Ivoire); Jamaica; Jordan; Kazakhstan; Kosovo; Kuwait; Kyrgyzstan; Laos; Lebanon; Liberia; Libya; North Macedonia (often listed as Macedonia); Moldova; Mongolia; Montenegro; Morocco; Nepal; Nicaragua; Nigeria; Pakistan; Republic of the Congo; Russia; Rwanda; Saint Kitts and Nevis; Saint Lucia; Saint Vincent and the Grenadines; Senegal; Sierra Leone; Somalia; South Sudan; Sudan; Syria; Tanzania; Thailand; Togo; Tunisia; Uganda; Uruguay; Uzbekistan; Yemen.

How to verify and track changes

  • The State Department notice on “immigrant visa processing updates for nationalities at high risk of public charge” links to the official list and will reflect any additions or removals over time.
  • Several law firms and advocacy sites mirror the official list verbatim, which is why the names and spellings match closely across NBC, CNBC, Reuters, and immigration law alerts.

Yep!

According to the Daily Wire:

Iranians are condemning the political Left for its silence as thousands are killed by Iran’s brutal Islamist regime.

https://twitter.com/i/status/2011436423073894729

She also stated in a rather lengthy post:

“They keep asking the same question. Why are lefties, why are the loudest pro-Gaza voices completely silent when it comes to Iran? Well, the answer is simple, because the truth exposes the lie. Because acknowledging Iran would shatter the ideological fantasy that they built. Let’s be clear, Islamic Republic of Iran is not a victim of Western imperialism. It is a theocratic authoritarian regime that survives by exporting violence, funding Islamists, and crushing its own people.”

“This is why lefties are silent. Because Hamas fits their narrative, but Iranian people don’t. Because Islamist violence against Israelis can be reframed as a resistance. But Islamist violence against Iranians exposes the truth. Right now, as you’re watching this, Iran, a country of more than 92 million people, is being erased in real time. Near total blackout for more than 24 hours. No internet, no call services, no connectivity whatsoever. And yet silence. No emergency protests on Western campuses, no hashtags, no solidarity statements, no megaphones, no tears. Because Iranian suffering does not fit their agenda. Because leftist movements today are not driven by human rights. They are driven by selective outrage and ideological loyalty. They will scream about censorship unless it’s done by an Islamist regime. They will condemn the state violence unless it’s wrapped in religious language. They will chant Free Palestine, but they never say Free Iran because that will require admitting something unforgivable: that political Islam is not liberation, it is domination.”

“And here’s the part that they do not want to hear. You cannot claim moral superiority while excusing a regime that kills and murders women for refusing hijab, executes protesters, cuts off the whole nation of 92 million people from the internet, and uses foreign proxies as a distraction from its internal collapse. You cannot pretend to care about Palestinians while ignoring Iranians being shot, tortured, and murdered by the Islamic Republic in Iran. That is not solidarity. That is ideological blindness. Iranian people are not silent. They are being silenced. And the silence from the Western Left? Well, that’s a choice. A choice to protect an ideology, a choice to excuse Islamism, a choice to look away when millions of people are suffering. Because their suffering, Iranian people’s suffering, complicates a slogan. History will remember this moment. It will remember who spoke for universal freedom. and who decided that some lives matter less than preserving a narrative. Long live Iran.”

According to the Daily Wire:

A new House proposal aims to crack down on abuses of the student visa system, including by imposing tougher penalties on administrators and institutions found responsible for visa fraud.

The “Student Visa Integrity Act,” introduced by Rep. Brandon Gill (R-TX), would tighten visa expiration dates and require in-person interviews for visa extensions for applicants from countries considered sponsors of terrorism or that are in programs otherwise deemed high national security risks.

Under the proposal, students from state sponsors of terrorism, nations with an overstay rate of 10% or higher, or institutions that do not use E-Verify would be limited to a maximum student visa term of two years.

“Studying in the United States is a privilege, not a right,” Gill told The Daily Wire. “Unfortunately, a system intended to spread the American dream has been abused by fraudsters and bad actors. My bill restores integrity to a system that has been exploited for decades by protecting national security, enforcing immigration law, and ensuring the student visa program serves America’s interests.”

Gill’s proposal would also require educational institutions and affiliated organizations to disclose any financial links to China. In addition, the bill would set new limits on foreign students wanting to transfer between schools.

The bill also empowers the Department of Homeland Security to reject student visa applicants from “countries of concern” if the applicant could pose a future national security risk to the United States. That includes individuals seeking to work in “the energy sector of Iran” or to “participate in coursework or training relating to or otherwise engage in flight training, aviation maintenance, or flight operations.”
