Episode 1006 – Biden Has Been Swept Out of Office!

Joe Biden is out, but he decides to throw out one final f- you.

And Donald Trump issues about 200 executive orders yesterday. Let’s go over them.

Joe Biden’s Last F- You

According to Politico:

As one of his final acts in office, President Joe Biden pardoned several members of his family.

The White House announced the pardons in a last batch of clemency decisions just minutes before Donald Trump took the oath of office, saying they were intended to prevent “baseless and politically motivated investigations” against his family.

Biden had already issued a sweeping pardon in December for his son Hunter, who was facing sentencing in two criminal cases. The pardons for his other family members, signed Sunday, were similarly sweeping and covered all of their “nonviolent” actions dating back to 2014.

The pardon, which includes the president’s siblings James Biden, Francis Biden and Valerie Biden Owens, as well as brother-in-law John Owens and sister-in-law Sara Jones Biden, is one of the most extraordinary — and directly personal — clemency actions ever taken by an outgoing president. Biden attributed the decision to fear that his family would be targeted by the Trump administration and said their acceptance should not be “misconstrued as an admission of guilt for any offense.”

I Don’t Know About This

According to the Daily Wire:

TikTok said on Sunday that it was restoring service after it briefly went offline on Saturday in response to a new U.S. law that forces its parent company, ByteDance, to be completely divested from TikTok or else be banned in the U.S.

“In agreement with our service providers, TikTok is in the process of restoring service,” TikTok said in a statement. “We thank President Trump for providing the necessary clarity and assurance to our service providers that they will face no penalties providing TikTok to over 170 million Americans and allowing over 7 million small businesses to thrive.”

TikTok claimed that the issue was about “the First Amendment” and “arbitrary censorship” when, in reality, it’s about the company harvesting the data of Americans that can be used to weaponize algorithms to impact how Americans think and behave in line with interests of communist China.

The statement comes after Trump, who led the charge to ban TikTok during his first term in office, posted on social media that he was asking companies to let TikTok stay online.

Trump said that he wants the United States to own 50% of TikTok and said that allowing China to still own the other half would not be a problem.

I don’t know about this. It seems to me we are missing some information. Elon Musk also said he supports TikTok, which is concerning. Or something else is happening behind the scenes.

AOC is reading the tea leaves. She thinks because Elon Musk supports Donald Trump, Mark Zuckerberg isn’t using fact checkers and the legacy media is swirling down the toilet, it is those dastardly Republicans that are taking over social media and destroying everything.

She was in a foul mood (probably fueled by a few glasses of boxed Chablis) and decided to rant on Instagram:

That’s not what the message said, but, hey, why let facts get in the way.
