Yes, It’s Cheating
According to the New York Post:
These days, occasional porn consumption is considered by many to be a common part of a “healthy” sex life in relationships. But new data have revealed many Aussies consider it “cheating.”
Research into attitudes toward OnlyFans, a booming platform used by millions of adult content creators, shows 56 percent of women believe that if a partner has subscribed to a porn star’s channel, it is “definitely cheating.”
However, only 38 percent of men agree, with 48 percent of men stating it depends on the type of interactions involved, compared to 36 percent of women.
Meanwhile, just 9 percent of women and 15 percent of men thought it was “normal” for those in relationships to interact with OnlyFans stars and watch their content.
No, and They Shouldn’t Be in a Store
According to the New York Times:
New Yorkers might soon be able to use their paid sick leave to take their pets to the veterinarian or to be with them during surgery, if the City Council passes a bill that was introduced on Wednesday.
The bill, by Councilman Shaun Abreu, a Manhattan Democrat, would amend the Earned Safe and Sick Time Act so that paid sick leave, which employees can take to care for themselves or family members, can also be used for both household pets and service animals.
Mr. Abreu said the bill was intended to help address the city’s mental health crisis. “I think that one of the simplest ways to support mental health is by encouraging pet ownership,” Mr. Abreu said, adding, “Keeping our pets healthy keeps us healthy.”
He pointed to research that shows that owning a pet can reduce cortisol, a stress-related hormone. Having a dog, for example, can also force people to engage in physical activity, which can in turn have positive effects on depression and social isolation, he said.
The legislation comes at a time when roughly two-thirds of American homes report having at least one pet, according to the American Pet Products Association, an industry group. Americans spent $147 billion on their pets in 2023, which includes the costs of veterinary care and over-the-counter medicine, according to the group.
Few places have laws like the one Mr. Abreu hopes to pass. In Emeryville, Calif., people can use their paid sick leave to care for a guide dog, signal dog or service dog that belongs to the employee or a family member.

It’s the Hunt for Red Fart-ober.
The UK’s Royal Navy launched a frantic search for phantom Russians off the coast after picking up two mysterious sounds in the ocean — only to conclude that the noises came from a gassy whale, an official told The Sun.
Naval officials feared one of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s drone subs had dropped a listening device onto the ocean floor between two islands in Scotland and let rip on an investigation.
The two toots were detected about 100 miles from where the UK’s doomsday subs are based.
“We have been analyzing the sounds and now believe it was a marine mammal. A whale,” the official told the British newspaper.
The sound, first described by analysts as a man-made noise, had never before been picked up on the sensors — leading the navy to confuse Das Boof for Das Boot, according to the report.
It also sparked fears that Russia’s deep-sea research unit, known as GUGI, was trying to record acoustic signatures of the British subs to make them easier to track.
The locations of the Royal Navy’s Astute-class attack subs and Vanguard-class ballistic missile submarines are among the UK’s most closely guarded military secrets. They are designed to move through the sea with nary a squeak.
While it was determined the flatulence was the cause of the false alarm, officials said they take all threats seriously.
Already Been Ruled On
According to the New York Post:
A coalition of Quaker groups filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration on Monday seeking to block immigration authorities from raiding houses of worship in search of criminal migrants.
The lawsuit, filed in the US district court of Maryland, argues that the Trump administration’s reversal of federal policy barring immigration raids in churches violates the religious group’s First Amendment rights.
“A diversity of worshippers is an essential component of the Quaker value of ‘experience[ing] God in a broader, more encompassing way,’ as ‘one’s life experience affects how one hears the spirit and what conclusions one might draw,’” reads the lawsuit brought by five Quaker groups and the left-wing Democracy Forward Foundation.
“Deterring immigrants from worshipping in-person with a Quaker meeting would therefore directly interfere with Plaintiffs’ religious exercise by lessening their ‘ability to hear God and what God is trying to tell [them],’” the filing continues.
Former acting Department of Homeland Security Secretary Benjamine Huffman issued a directive last week rescinding the Biden administration’s guidelines for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) enforcement actions that prevent law enforcement in or near so-called “sensitive” areas, such as churches, schools, hospitals and public demonstrations.
The plaintiffs in the case – Philadelphia Yearly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends, New England Yearly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends, Baltimore Yearly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends, Adelphi Friends Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends and Richmond Friends Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends – are being represented in the case by the Democracy Forward Foundation.
