Trump is about to pull the trigger on changing the culture.

The southern border is a disaster.

And another mass shooting starts the age old debate about us losing our rights.

 

You Knew Something Like This Was Going to Happen

President Trump has been banned from Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Reddit, Twitch, Shopify, Google, TikTok, Apple, Discord, Pinterest, Amazon AWS, Stripe, Okta and Twilio.

Ugh. What does a billionaire do to be able to sit on the toilet and post something at 1 AM? How about build his own social media site? That’s what Donald Trump is going to do. And, unlike the condemned Parler, he’s going to do it right.

This week, the Trump organization stated that they were going into the business of social media.

Trump advisor, Jason Miller, stated:

“The fact the president’s been off of social media for a while because his press releases, his statements have actually been getting almost more play than he ever did on Twitter before. I’m not sure if that’s because the length of them are a bit longer. [We] even had one reporter say that she thought it was much more elegant, the way that the president was able to communicate his thoughts and very much looked more presidential in that longer form.”

“But I do think that we’re going to see President Trump returning to social media in probably about two or three months here with his own platform. And this is something that I think will be the the hottest ticket in social media. It’s going to completely redefine the game and everybody is going to be waiting and watching to see what exactly President Trump does. But it will be his own platform.”

Miller said Trump has had “a lot of high-powered meetings” at Mar-a-Lago with “numerous companies” about creating a platform that he hopes will bring in “tens of millions of people.”

You knew something like this was going to happen. I thought it would be a news organization but he is a social media guy and he’s banned from everything so this makes scene.

This is also the direction conservatives need to go. We must create our own economy and culture.

Border Crisis

The border crisis is getting worse:

• The Biden administration refuses to allow reporters to see the sites.
• The facilities 800% over capacity.
• There are more unattended children that have crossed the border than any time in history. Thanks chain migration.
• COVID is also an issue. Ten to twenty percent of those that come over have the virus.
• Children are being kept in plastic tents, sleeping on plastic mattresses and covering themselves with Mylar blankets.
• The capacity for each tent is 80, but they are holding well over that.
• Border patrol is not releasing people into the interior without even citing the illegals.
• The government has given $86 million to house the illegals into hotels.
• This month, we are looking at 200,000 crossing the border illegally, a record by a lot.

 

Though the Biden administration has set up a gag order, pictures and video is getting out of the facilities.

• Axios received dozens of very revealing photos.
• Sara Carter received video and shared it with Fox News.
• Sixteen Senators are preparing to travel to a border facility and are ready for a fight to get into the facilities.

 

So, how is the Biden administration handling this. I think Kamala Harris pretty much sums it up:

Listen, this is not an accident, a mistake or bad policy. This is done on purpose.

• Allow unfettered immigration.
• This will create more dependence on government through poor immigrants and job competition.
• Create amnesty so illegals become citizens.
• Allow them to vote.
• Democrats rule the world (assumingly) forever.

 

I know that is a cynical take, but it is what’s happening.

What an F-Up

There was a shooting in Colorado earlier this week. The media did exactly what they do: Claim that this was another white supremacist shooter. They compared this to last week’s shooting of eight people at two Asian massage parlors.

There were a few problems with this:

• The second perpetrator ended up being a Syrian refugee who hated Trump and believed the country is filled with racism.
• This probably wasn’t terrorism. He had extreme mental problem (paranoia).
• All the people shot and killed were white.

 

I  find it amazing that when a white guy commits these crimes, it is because of white supremacy. If a person of color commits these crimes, it’s because of guns. How about everyone who does these things are just pieces of trash.

But this has started the whole gun control thing all over again because race cannot be the thing here. And Joe Biden is ready yo do it on his own if Congress does not pass a gun control bill. Here’s Jen Psaki reiterating this:

So, here we go again. I’m not sure what Biden is going to set up in an Executive Order but you can expect it is going to be extreme and unconstitutional.

So let’s take a look at some of the arguments.

• The 2nd Amendment was referring to militias, not private citizens. False. Private citizens were the militia and were required to own a gun and a set amount of ammunition.
• The 2nd Amendment protected muskets and not assault rifles. False. Muskets were considered weapons of war. Assault rifle, by the way, has no definition. What gun is not an assault weapon.
• Assault weapons bans have worked in the past. False. The 2003 “assault weapons ban” that lasted 10 years did not lower gun violence. In fact, gun violence has gone down in the last 10 years while gun ownership has gone up.
• Gun control works. False. Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Boston and Washington DC have the most stringent gun control laws in the country with the highest levels of gun violence. Vermont, which has the easiest gun ownership laws has very little gun violence.
• The United States has the highest level of mass shootings in the world. False. In the last 10 years, The US has been number 10 to 12 levels of mass shootings. Norway is leading the pack. Also in that point, Sweden has more mass shootings.
• No one needs an AR-15 for home protection. False. Most AR-15s are used for home protection. That’s because they are so easy to use with so little kick that a child can use one.
• Australia had a gun buy back and mass shootings are almost unheard of. False. There were already very few mass shootings in Australia and only about a third of the guns were actually collected.

 

What is the Biden administration going to do?

• Implement restrictions on a certain type of scary looking guns.
• Implement restrictions on magazine size.
• Create a gun owners database. This includes location of the firearm.
• Firearms insurance at the cost of $800 a year.
• Required psychological testing.
• Federal government background checks.
• Remove protections for gun manufacturers.

 

I know they are all talking about “common sense” gun laws for “assault rifles”.
