Episode 651 – Let’s Just Surrender to the China Virus

She is So Bad At This

To say that the border is a mess would be one of the greatest understatements in American history…probably

  • Currently there are 8000 people crossing a day.
  • When Title 42 ends, Border Patrol is expecting that number to go to 18,000 a day.
  • On the Mexican side of the border, 50,000 potentially illegal aliens are waiting for Title 42 to go away to cross.
  • Oscar Leeser, the Democratic mayor of El Paso, Texas, declared a state of emergency on Saturday in anticipation of the end of Title 42.

  •  Illegal aliens are being released but there is no where to go. Families are sleeping in the streets. People are also being set on the floors of the El Paso Airport.
  • Gov. Greg Abbott has started to build the wall again though it is not clear he has the money or the legal authority to do so. That’s going to be an interesting court case.

Good news, Chief Justice John Roberts of the Supreme Court put a halt to the ending of Title 42. He wants the Biden administration to show him a plan on what they are going to do going forward. Title 42 says that people can be deported, no matter their asylum status, because they have a communicable disease.

So that’s the news out of that but lets talk about Karin Jean Pierre. She is Biden’s press secretary. She has no business doing this job anyway because she has no talent but she is black and gay, so that’s all it takes in the Biden administration. Here she is being asked about El Paso mayor declaring a state of emergency:

First off, you can only hear it and not see it, but this was a prepared answer and that’s the best she could come up with.

And, no, the Biden administration has done nothing at the border. In fact, the have avoided the border like poison oak.

Here she is giving the press the admin’s solution for fixing the crisis:

What the Biden administration wants is amnesty with no protections on the border. She’s blaming Republicans even though they have no power. Even the reporter, who’s not from Fox News, calls her out. How is granting amnesty going to fix illegal immigration?

Well, it’s not and we know that already. This was tried by Ronald Reagan in 1986 and was a disaster. The only good thing that happened was illegal immigration increased so much the policy was cancelled.

Here she is getting into a tussle with a reporter about the cancelling of Title 42. The reporter makes a pretty good point here:

The Biden administration wants the border open and illegal aliens to be made U.S. citizens so they can vote. That’s called The Great Replacement Theory. If I say that, I will be called a racist but Chuck Schumer said it two weeks ago. The theory is not a theory, it’s actually happening.

Here’ the problem the Biden administration has, people don’t like illegal immigration. So what does the Biden administration do? Just lie. Nothing to see here. Everything is fine.

KJP’s answers about the open border is very clear every time she’s asked about it:

She does it again:

Yeah, no. BS! The border is wide open.

Hey, you know, no one has visited the border. Not Biden or Harris or any Democrat. Even AOC didn’t go down there and cry in front of an empty parking lot. If there is no border crisis, the border is closed and there are no illegal aliens, wouldn’t it be a great photo shoot to go down there and show that off? Wonder why they won’t do it?

She wasn’t done.

The January 6th committee met for the last time and they have recommended charges for President Trump. Of course they did. These are what they are:

  • Obstructing an official proceeding (he refused to testify and recommended to one else testify).
  • Conspiring to defraud the United States (not sure what that is).
  • Conspiring to make false statements to the federal government (he never testified so not sure where coming from).
  • Inciting an insurrection (a BS charge).

The DoJ is going to do nothing here. They’re going to ignore it.

But KJP had something to say about it. Hyperbolae is strong in this one. Listen:

So let me get this straight because I’m not a smart man. January 6th was more of a threat to democracy than:

  • The assignation of Abraham Lincoln.
  • The Jim Crow laws.
  • World War I.
  • The Depression.
  • The attack on Pearl Harbor.
  • World War II.
  • The Korean War (40,000 dead).
  • The Vietnam War (58,000 dead).
  • The assassination of John F. Kennedy.
  • The assassination of Robert Kennedy.
  • The assassination of Martin Luther King Jr.
  • The corruption in the Nixon administration.
  • The U.S. hostages in Iran.
  • The 9/11 terrorist attack.
  • The war in Iraq and Afghanistan.
  • The COVID pandemic.
  • The 2020 BLM riots.

Pure fear mongering and exaggeration. The only people that believe this are Leftists. My advice to Leftists is that they learn a history book because we have had a lot of threats to democracy and January 6th was not one of them.

Oh…WOW!

The Twitter Files are being released at a really slow pace. There have been six until today. Nothing, to this point, has been illegal. Just a slanted executive management that was being influenced by the FBI.

Um, installment 7 might have blow that out of the water.

Installment 7 was dropped by former California gubernatorial candidate, Michael Shellenberger. He’s not a right wing guy. In fact, he’s a climate activist but he does something weird. He uses reason. You need to read two books if you so choose: Apocalypse Never  and San Fransicko. 

Let’s get back to the story. According to the Daily Wire:

Previous editions of the project, revealed by independent journalists based on emails and other internal company documents provided by Twitter CEO Elon Musk, have shown that federal law enforcement policed content on the platform and asked executives to remove certain posts. Even before the New York Post released the now-infamous October 2020 article, which included evidence that Hunter Biden introduced his father to a Ukrainian businessman, FBI officials pressured Twitter management to censor the story.

Indeed, there existed “an organized effort by representatives of the intelligence community” aimed at “senior executives at news and social media companies” to discredit “leaked information about Hunter Biden before and after it was published,” according to independent journalist Michael Shellenberger.

The FBI also paid Twitter more than $3.4 million for their “legal process response,” apparently referencing the time Twitter executives spent coordinating with the agency.

This is huge. Now, we have collusion between the government and a private company. This is not good for the FBI. Even the Twitter villain, Yuleon Roth was uncomfortable with the control the FBI was taking.

Can’t These People Just Go Away

It’s that time of year again and that means the flu and COVID and colds are running through the population. The Left, of course, will take the opportunity to control the population. This should be nothing new. What’s funny about this is that the Left keeps trotting out celebrities to convince us to get vaccinated.

Sean Penn was on Extra and he was asked about being vaccinated. Here what he had to say:

Some things:

  • I don’t understand why the Leftists always have to insult people to convince them to do what they want. That never seems to work.
  • “Cowardice of conviction”? Last I checked, I’m not afraid COVID is going to kill me. He’s the one that scared. That’s why he’s taken 38 shots.
  • The whole “common sense” thing amazes me to. I got my COVID shots and have caught COVID twice. Seems to me that “common sense” says the vaccines don’t work well.
  • Am I saying, “Don’t get a shot?” Absolutely not. If one has comorbidities, they should get the shot.
  •  This is the big thing the Left believes. If you do not do what they want, you are a criminal, should not be part of society and should not be allowed to work and survive.
  • Of course, it’s leadership that was bad. In other words, it’s Trump’s fault. He’s smart enough not to say Trump’s name because, under Trump’s leadership, the vaccines were invented.

But it isn’t just Sean Penn (who looks like crap, by the way) it is Gene Simmons of the heavy metal band, Kiss. He goes to more extremes:

Some things:

  • He lets the cat out of the bag. “Get your shot so you don’t get me sick.”
    • He’s scared of getting sick. He doesn’t give a damn if I get sick. He’s the coward.
    • No matter how much he cusses or how forcefully he makes his statement doesn’t make him any braver.
    • Here’s another point, it’s not my responsibility for you not to get sick.
  • There have been no studies on the efficacy of the vaccine, the side effects of the vaccines and the efficacy of masks yet people keep pushing to wear masks and get vaccines.
  • His claiming that people should wear masks to his concerts and on his cruise is not to protect us from COVID. It’s to protect him from COVID. He doesn’t care if we catch it.
  • “You don’t have as many rights as you thing” because you have to stop your car at a light?
    • This is another common argument.
    • Driving isn’t a right. It’s a privilege.
    • The conflate rights with privileges.
  • “Shut up! Be respectful! Get vaxxed!”? No. I have to show people like this jerk off respect but he can piss on anyone who doesn’t agree with him? The lack of self awareness is amazing.
  • One thing to remember here. Go woke go broke. Good luck on your tours.

At Least It’s Not Because the Shark is White

These guys just look for reasons to be woke.

According to the Daily Wire:

Director Steven Spielberg said he regrets the impact his iconic movie “Jaws” had on the shark population. 

The 76-year-old Hollywood veteran made his feelings known during a recent interview with the BBC podcast Desert Island Discs. Spielberg was 27 when he made “Jaws” in 1975 and said he looks back with mixed emotions on how popular the movie became.

“I truly and to this day regret the decimation of the shark population because of the book and the film. I really, truly regret that,” the filmmaker said. “That’s one of the things I still fear. Not to get eaten by a shark, but that sharks are somehow mad at me for the feeding frenzy of crazy sport fishermen that happened after 1975.”

This is a pure virtue signal. Probably because Spielberg’s autobiography is out in theaters and it’s not doing great. The Fabelmans has been out a month and has only made $8.7 million.

But the truth is not in Spielberg’s statement. Paul Cox, who is a shark conversationist, said:

“The cases of shark population decline are very clearly fisheries overfishing.”

So, there you have it. Maybe Spielberg’s virtue signal will get more people in the seats. I want to see this movie, I just don’t want to pay $14 to see it.
