Episode 730 – Why Bother Doing That?

The Dodgers are beginning to implode from the inside.

The Dodgers Are Going Blue

Finally, there are some Dodgers that are bitching about having the Catholic hate group, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence on the field. The Dodgers have been feeling the pressure. First they decided to have a Christian Faith and Family Day. Yeah, people were glad they were having one but there is no doubt that this is a response to the backlash against this group. People see this and are still going at them.

Blake Treinen, a pitcher for the Dodgers, released a statement:

Clayton Kershaw, a Catholic and pitcher for the Dodgers, said:

“I think we were always going to do Christian Faith Day this year, but I think the timing of our announcement was sped up. Picking a date and doing those different things was part of it as well. Yes, it was in response to the highlighting of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence [by the Dodgers].

“I don’t agree with making fun of other people’s religions. It has nothing to do with anything other than that. I just don’t think that, no matter what religion you are, you should make fun of somebody else’s religion. So, that’s something that I definitely don’t agree with.

“This has nothing to do with the LGBTQ community or Pride or anything like that. This is simply a group that was making fun of a religion, that I don’t agree with.”

Now, my question is where are the rest of the Dodgers? Where’s Dave Roberts, who is a devout Christian or Mookie Betts or Freddie Freeman. They are all Christians. Where is Sandy Kofax, who is the face of the Dodgers? He is a devout Jew.

But it isn’t just players from the Dodgers. Washington National pitcher, Trevor Williams, released a statement:

 

I don’t understand why the MLB doesn’t go in the direction of the NHL. Twenty-something players said they were not going to wear the rainbow practice jerseys and the NHL cancelled the whole Pride thing.

Baseball should get the hint because people have dropped baseball before. They went through two work stoppages and it took years to recover and some say they still haven’t completely recovered.

Not the Way To Do It

With true bravery, sometimes cowardice comes out.

Toronto Blue Jays pitcher named Anthony Bass got into trouble from the organization because he retweeted a video by a Christian named Ryan MiIler. Mind you, Bass didn’t post anything, but he pissed off the Blue Jays anyway. This is the posted video:

What did he say that was controversial? The Left talks crap like this all the time with far less reason. Understand, what Miller said was correct as far as Catholicism and Judaism are concerned. He’s reading from the Bible.

Whatever, doesn’t matter. The Blue Jays made Bass apologize. Here is his groveling apology:

I don’t know when these people are going to stop doing this. No one on the Left forgives. You might as well just go with it.

This Should All Scare You

Usually, I would put a lot of these quotes under the title of “Kamalaisms”. Here’s the problem, these people are in the power or are going to be in power, in other words, they are the elites. They are saying some pretty scary things.

Here is Fatima Mousa Mohammed, who graduated from City University New York law school, blaming everything on racism. She is dressed in full Islamic garb and sounds like Ilhan Omar:

Question: Why are you here? If this country is so bad, why not go back to your home country? I’m not saying to kick her out, I’m just saying she should leave. Well, we know why she wouldn’t go back to her home country. America rocks and give her opportunity to succeed and her home country would force her to hide under a burka and marry a goat farmer.

Here’s the really scary stuff. Larry Fink, the CEO of Blackrock is asked how corporations can shape society and the world. His ten second response is telling:

Blackrock is known for buying up all the real estate in the country and leasing the property, per the World Economic Forum’s philosophy of “you will own nothing and like it”. Good news is the company is now flailing.

Here We Go!

More companies bending to the knee of Pride.

  • Legos has decided to create several new LGBTQ+ sets. I have yet to find these new sets and they have always had them.
  • Levi’s has released a new commercial. This is not a surprise because Levi’s is a Left wing company based out of San Francisco.

  • To celebrate Pride Month in June, Kohl’s is selling onesies with the LGBTQ pride flag on them.
    • Includes the “baby Sonoma Community Pride Bodysuit Set,” which sells for $9.99. The product’s description reads, “Celebrate the joy that comes from living authentically and unapologetically during Pride month and all year long with this Baby Sonoma Community® Pride Bodysuit Set.”
    • Their ad features two men raising three children.
  • The guidance produced by Always also faced charges that it was attempting to ‘erase’ women by avoiding the use of the word ‘girls’.
    • The pamphlets are included in ‘puberty kits’ containing period pads and panty liners the brand sends to schools to give to pupils.
    • The 22-page booklet, entitled a ‘Puberty and Confidence Guide for Everyone’, details both female and male puberty developments but at no point mentions ‘boys’ or ‘girls’, instead using ‘people’ or ‘person’.
    • In a section on the menstrual cycle, the guide says: ‘Every month, bodies with female sex organs prepare for pregnancy.’
  • Walmart now has a Pride display in front of their stores. I thought this was a one off for a California
  • There is a shop called Bippity Boppity Boutique in Disneyland.
    • Little girls go to the shop to dress up as princesses.
    • They’ve decided o let men who think they are women, dress as princesses and help the little girls dress as princesses.
    • By the way, each dress in this store average $250.

There’s going to be a lot more of this. We’re not even in June yet.

Now, am I saying to boycott all these companies? No. Be picky though. This stuff is all over the place. It’s hard to boycott all the places. But we can be choosy.

And it works. Bud Light sales are down 25.7%. Target has lost $11 billion over the last 11 days. Here’s what’s going to be tough for these businesses, getting their customers back. As people begin to look for other brands or stores, they will stick with them. What’s worse, they will stick with them through habit and not protest.
