Notice everyone who screwed up in Hawaii is a democrat and the federal government is filled with democrats and they all will blame climate change even though it is their own incompetence that created this mess.
Well, bad news, it’s not climate change. You know who says so? The leftist news source That Washington Post. In an article released today, they said:
As scientists weigh the influence climate change may have had in fueling Hawaii’s wildfires, there isn’t one standout factor they point to. Rising temperatures likely contributed to the severity of the blaze in several ways. But global warming could not have driven the fires by itself.
The first part of the article, of course blames climate change. They point out:
- Hawaii is 2 degree warmer than 1950, but where were the fires 10 years ago?
- They point out that winds were only about 5 MPH faster than usual.
- They mention the role of non-climate influences in the intensity of the firestorm, such as the introduction of highly combustible nonnative plants, as well as weather patterns that happen naturally.
- Hurricanes are the norm this time of year.
- Drought conditions fluctuate with the weather and happen.
- There is no direct evidence that climate change had any direct fault for causing this mess.
Of course, climate change didn’t cause this mess. Incompetence caused this mess. But we are being shoveled this climate change nonsense to deflect from that incompetence.
