Episode 860 – We Win, Thank God!

The Supreme Court makes a huge ruling for Trump. In reality, this ruling is for us.

A terrible story in unfolding in California and this is where Leftists eventually leads.

And Merrick Garland wants to further push the Great Replacement Theory.

We Win!

According to the Washington Post:

The Supreme Court on Monday unanimously sided with Donald Trump, allowing the former president to remain on the election ballot and reversing a Colorado ruling that disqualified him from returning to office because of his conduct around the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol.

The justices said the Constitution does not permit a single state to disqualify a presidential candidate from national office, ruling that such responsibility “rests with Congress and not the states.” The court warned of disruption and chaos if a candidate for nationwide office could be declared ineligible in some states, but not others, based on the same conduct.

“Nothing in the Constitution requires that we endure such chaos — arriving at any time or different times, up to and perhaps beyond the inauguration,” the court said in an unsigned, 13-page unsigned opinion.

The decision leaves Trump as the leading candidate for the Republican nomination and for now removes the Supreme Court from directly determining the path of the 2024 presidential election. The justices fast-tracked the challenge from voters in Colorado and issued their decision one day before Super Tuesday, when that state and more than a dozen others hold nominating contests. The ruling applies to other states with similar challenges to Trump’s candidacy.

A Horrid Story

According to the Daily Wire:

Police in southern California arrested 29-year-old Mohammed Abdulkareem this week for going into a dentistry practice and allegedly murdering a Jewish dentist and shooting two other people.

Dr. Benjamin Harouni was shot and killed late Thursday afternoon at his SmilePlus Dentistry practice just outside of San Diego. Two other victims were also shot — a man and a woman — and were taken to local hospitals where they were listed in serious but stable condition.

The El Cajon Police Department said that Abdulkareem fled the scene in a white U-Haul rental pickup truck, but was located several hours later thanks to a vigilant citizen who alerted law enforcement.

Abdulkareem was charged with multiple felony charges, including one count of murder and two counts of attempted murder, and was booked into the San Diego County Central Jail. Police said more charges could be forthcoming.

Some things:

  • The shooter was Muslim, the dentist was Jewish.
  • The guy had been a patient for years.
  • The media is already calling this a mental health issue (“assault weapons” and white supremacy CAN’T apply.
  • They are investigating this as a hate crime. It probably should be considering the media is already setting a narrative.

You Still Don’t See the Coincidence?

Who’d of Thunk It?

According to the New York Post:

A bill recriminalizing the possession of small amounts of drugs was passed by the Oregon Legislature on Friday, undoing a key part of the state’s first-in-the-nation drug decriminalization law as governments struggle to respond to the deadliest overdose crisis in US history.

The state Senate approved House Bill 4002 in a 21-8 vote after the House passed it 51-7 on Thursday.

The bill now heads to the desk of Gov. Tina Kotek, who said in January that she is open to signing a bill that would roll back decriminalization, Oregon Public Broadcasting reported.

“With this bill, we are doubling down on our commitment to make sure Oregonians have access to the treatment and care that they need,” said Democratic Senate Majority Leader Kate Lieber, of Portland, one of the bill’s authors, adding that its passage will “be the start of real and transformative change for our justice system.”

The measure makes the possession of small amounts of drugs such as heroin or methamphetamine a misdemeanor, punishable by up to six months in jail.

It enables police to confiscate the drugs and crack down on their use on sidewalks and in parks. Drug treatment is to be offered as an alternative to criminal penalties.

The bill also aims to make it easier to prosecute people who sell drugs. It increases access to addiction medication, and to obtain and keep housing without facing discrimination for using that medication.
