Episode 482 – China is A-Hole!

The Olympics are starting in China. China continues to be an oppressive society and are using the the pandemic to squeeze their citizens. Let’s talk about that.

 

News

Here is some news I’m sure you heard about and have gotten tons of commentary on. I don’t see a real reason to go too much into detail about them:

  • In COVID news:
    • Reuters has reported that there might be anti-viral effects which could be a therapeutic to fighting COVID.
    • Johns Hopkins has done a meta study about the lockdowns in the United States.
      • In the report: “While this meta-analysis concludes that lockdowns have had little to no public health effects, they have imposed enormous economic and social costs where they have been adopted. In consequence, lockdown policies are ill-founded and should be rejected as a pandemic policy instrument.”
      • They found that COVID mortality would have dropped .2%.
      • “These costs to society must be compared to the benefits of lockdowns, which our meta-analysis has shown are marginal at best. Such a standard benefit-cost calculation leads to a strong conclusion: lockdowns should be rejected out of hand as a pandemic policy instrument.”
      • Researchers also pointed out other unintended consequences of lockdowns, such as rising unemployment, reduced schooling, an increase in domestic violence incidents, and surging drug overdoses.
    • Finally, it looks like Omicron is petering out. New York used to average 40,000 cases a day. They are down to 4000 cases a day.
  • Remember we talked about the corruption of Black Lives Matter on Monday? The California Department of Justice has ordered BLM to turn over their financial records. We’ll have to see where this is going to go because I’m not sure BLM is going to cooperate and I think California will blink first.
  • Whoopie Goldberg has been suspended from The View for saying that the Holocaust was not about race but about man’s cruelty to man. That would be news to Hitler. He referred to the Jews as an inferior race.
    • Basically she was saying there can’t be racism since the Jews and Germans are both white.
    • She apologized, sort of, but why is she only suspended? Rosanne Barr was pulled from her top rated show for some stupid comments.
    • By the way, the Left believes what she believes. Racism doesn’t go against white only people of color. We’ll talk more about that on Friday.
  • I don’t know what’s wrong with people at CNN not being able to keep their pants on but Jeff Zucker, the CEO of CNN, has resigned for not reporting an affair he was having with a staffer.
  • Joe Biden is sending 3000 troops are being deployed to Germany, Poland and Romania to counter Russia’s aggression toward Ukraine.
  • In January, 24 police officers have been shot and 10 have been killed. in all of 2021, 74 police officers were killed. As you can see, we are in a pretty ugly pace here.

Here We Go

According to the Wall Street Journal:

The Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics that open Friday will by many measures be the most complicated on record.

China’s “zero-Covid” approach, with strict testing protocols, effectively puts the Games in a bubble. Geopolitical tensions are high. Governments are protesting the country’s alleged human-rights abuses and warning about state-backed cybersecurity threats.

At the heart of it all are athletes navigating a maze of issues around health, safety, politics and free speech—while competing in one of the most important events of their lives. Team members have gone to great lengths to avoid catching Covid-19 in the days leading up to the Games. Some stayed away from loved ones for weeks or months. Many are leaving their phones at home over spying concerns.

We will talk about the zero-COVID policies in a few minutes because it’s important. That’s what the Left wants to do here and it is truly horrifying.

Concerning the Olympics, I’ll say it again, we shouldn’t be there. This is an corrupt, oppressive and genocidal country. But I’ll go a step further: Our athletes aren’t safe there. Some of the things the U.S. government is warning them about:

  • They are facing heavy COVID restrictions:
    •  They will not be able to leave the Olympic campus.
    • Beijing Olympics organizers decided to require that all Games participants be vaccinated or submit to a 21-day quarantine.
    • They will be tested daily.
    • They are bringing back the anal swab tests.
    • If two confirmatory tests after the arrival test are also positive, Beijing 2022’s protocols call for people to go to an isolation facility or to a hospital, depending on symptoms, where they stay until they are symptom-free and have two negative Covid tests 24 hours apart.
    • If they have a positive test, they must prove they are well enough to compete.
    • These restrictions could be a way to keep favored American athletes out of competition.
      • China wants to win.
      • Remember, they manipulated the medal count, adding Taiwan’s medals, so they could beat the United States.
  • Leaders of several national Olympic committees, including Team USA, advised their athletes to use disposable or “burner” phones to avoid potential government surveillance.
  • Some competitors feel that their personal safety is at risk and they point to Chinese tennis star Peng Shuai, who disappeared from public view in early November after an accusation of sexual assault against a retired high-ranking politician appeared on her social-media account.
  • Athletes are being warned to behave and not talk about politics. A Beijing organizing committee official said in a recent news conference that behavior or speech that violated the Olympic spirit could be subject to “certain punishment.” We don’t know what that is but no one wants to find out.

We shouldn’t be over. The Biden administration should have made that clear but Joe Biden is making way too much money from China. And that diplomatic boycott is just stupid. He might have just done nothing.

But I wonder about the athletes. I understand that an Olympic athlete has a short shelf life but is this worth it? The athletes are going to be there for three months and completely isolated. They have to worry about what they say, worry about being spied on and worry about being ghosted (as China is known to do).

If it was me, I’d just stay home.

Well, Duh!

FBI Director, Christopher Wray had some very stark words about China. Right now, the FBI is expecting a cyber attack from Russia and China and he wanted to address this. He made some comments as a keynote speaker at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library :

“There is so much good we could do with a responsible Chinese government: crack down on cybercriminals, stop money launderers, reduce opioid overdose deaths. But at the FBI, we’re focused on the reality of the Chinese government today.”

“When we tally up what we see in our investigations—over 2,000 of which are focused on the Chinese government trying to steal our information or technology—there is just no country that presents a broader threat to our ideas, our innovation, and our economic security than China.”

Maybe he should have been a little more aggressive when Joe Biden was figuring out whether or not to send our athletes over to China.

He also said:

“China may be the first government to combine authoritarian ambitions with cutting-edge technical capability. It’s like the surveillance nightmare of East Germany combined with the tech of Silicon Valley.”

This is an awesome comment. We are not dealing with the fact that Silicon Valley is working directly with China to control information to Chinese hear, enforce China’s social credit score and help China with their surveillance programs. To make things worse, these companies (Apple, Google and Facebook) give their technology to China because it’s required by the government to do business in China. They won’t do this for the United States. Remember, Apple wouldn’t help the FBI crack the encryption for the terrorists’ phones after the attack in San Bernardino in 2015.

And it’s no secret: Silicon Valley wants to do the same thing here, primarily for profit and the spreading of the Leftist ideology. We’re seeing it now.

China wants the United States to be China. And Silicon Valley is helping them toward their goals.

Episode 449 – That’s Kind of Some Dark News

Joe Biden meets with Xi Jinping of China. It doesn’t go well.

The Washington Post, in a surprise, complains about the Uyghur genocide.

And a former Chinese dissident gives a stark warning to the United States.

 

Accomplished Nothing…Again

Joe Biden had a three hour virtual meeting with Xi Jinping yesterday. It didn’t start well for old Joe. The first thing that Xi said was his greeting and then he referred to Joe as his “old friend”, something that Joe Biden and Jen Psaki adamantly said Xi wasn’t. I just thought this was funny. The Chinese monitor everything that happens here. Xi knew Biden has been saying that he wasn’t friends with Xi and didn’t trust Xi. He knew there was a lot of friction between the Right and Left with the relationship he has with Chinese companies and the Chinese government. This was an awesome troll by Xi.

This shows a bunch of things though:

  • Joe Biden is not respected by Xi.
  • He sees Biden as weak.
  • This is also a way to shake Biden, something he probably believes will be easy to do.
  • Xi knows the United States better than the United States knows China.
  • And nothing was going to get done in this three hour meeting.

Again, it was a troll. It was a psychological game Xi was playing.

So the meeting went on and nothing got done. Some of the highlights:

  •  They talked about climate change. Biden asked Xi to cut down on his emissions and Xi said no. No pushback from Biden.
  • They talked about Taiwan and the One China Policy. China stated that Biden stated that he did not support Taiwan’s independence. Xi threatened Biden that any help to the Taiwanese, he would be “playing with fire”. This basically means, Taiwan is done.
  • Biden asked Xi to follow through on Trump’s trade agreements which China has not lived up to. China said no. Only good news is Biden is going to keep the tariffs in place.
  • The origins of the China virus and the use of gain-of-function was never brought up.
  • There was no talks about boycotting the Winter Olympics in China this year (more on that later).
  •  Biden talked about human right violations by China. Xi told Bden that China would not be lectured about how they did things by foreign governments. He was will to talk but would not formulate policies or make promises.
    • Well, I guess the genocide of the Uyghurs is going to continue. You know, the forced abortions, sterilizations, re-education, torture, rape and killing of a group because they are Muslim.
    • The are about a million Uyghurs. Who cares though.
    • That should have been enough to pull out of the Olympics in China.

Fox News called the meeting the Seinfeld Summit, making fun of the fact that the summit was about nothing but don’t kid yourself. China scored a win here. A big one.

  • They said they would continue the unfair trade practices.
  • They were going to continue to pump CO2 into the air.
  • They are going to continue the cyber warfare and stealing our technology.
  • They will not alter any of their inhumane practices.
  • They are going to take over Taiwan.
  • They didn’t have to talk about the China virus.
  • And they will get to have their propaganda through the Winter Olympics, putting on a show for the world and the United States will be there and be amazed.

But worst of all, Xi put Biden in his place and, if he needed anymore confirmation, knows that Biden is weak. Be prepared for China to become more brazen over the next few years.

This From the Washington Post?

Speaking of the Olympics, the Washington Post released an op-ed that really surprised me.

It is called China is Perfecting a 21st -Century Method of Destroying an Entire Paper by Fred Hiatt. The piece is short but is important. It is about the genocide of the Uyghurs and how the Winter Olympics are going to be held only a couple of hours west of the site. It’s a short piece, but very important.

China’s Communist leaders, innovative in so many ways, appear to be perfecting a 21st-century approach to genocide.

With the Beijing Olympics less than three months away, will Coca-Cola and other sponsors of the Games celebrate with China while this is taking place? While, a few hours’ flight due west of the stadiums and ice rinks, an entire people is being slowly, deliberately erased?

This is where I think the Washington Post gets it a little wrong. Why shouldn’t sponsors continue to support the Olympics? Half their stuff is made in China and the United States government won’t even do anything about it.

We have learned to think of genocide as industrial-scale slaughter: gas chambers, killing fields, mass graves. A report published last week by the U.S. Holocaust Museum’s Simon-Skjodt Center for the Prevention of Genocide, “To Make Us Slowly Disappear,” suggests that China may have found a different way, more insidious if no less monstrous.

The campaign against the Uyghur population of western China, a Muslim minority of about 12 million people inside a nation of more than 1 billion, began with conventional discrimination, escalated to intense surveillance and mass detentions, and now includes forcible sterilization and insertion of IUDs; separation of men and women through incarceration, forced migration and coerced marriages of Uyghur women to men from the ethnic Han majority; and mass kidnapping of Uyghur children, taken from their parents and placed in state “boarding schools.”

Thought this crap was over in the 20th century? Nope. Welcome to communism.

The campaign is not without terrible violence, torture and killing, as survivor accounts make clear. But, the report says, it hinges on something else: “coercive interventions of the Chinese government to prevent sizable numbers of Uyghurs from coming into being.”

This suggests that the deliberate goal is “to biologically destroy the group, in whole or in substantial part.”

One of the missions of the Holocaust Museum is “to do for victims of genocide today what was not done for the Jews of Europe.” The seriousness with which it accepts this responsibility is reflected in the meticulous caution of the well-documented report: Although both the Trump and Biden administrations have declared that China is committing genocide against the Uyghurs, the museum says it is “gravely concerned that the Chinese government may be committing genocide.”

Uncertainty is what China wants; it has constructed a formidable information blockade. Uyghur scholars were among the first targets of the mass detention campaign. Foreign scholars, correspondents and think-tank experts are kept out of the Xinjiang region where the crimes are being committed — and increasingly out of China altogether. And China attempts to silence even Uyghurs living abroad by locking up and abusing the relatives back home of anyone who dares speak out.

No one has been more victimized by this barbarity than the reporters of Radio Free Asia, who have done more than anyone in the past five years to reveal the truth.

“The Chinese government are very professional on how to hide their crimes,” one of those reporters, Gulchehra Hoja, said at a forum organized by the museum last week. Hoja, about whom I’ve written before, knows this all too well: Trying to silence her, the Chinese government locked up, as usual without charge or trial, her brother, her mother, her cousins, their spouses — nearly two dozen relatives in all.

They are not hiding it. They are not denying it. They are telling us that it’s none of our business. A question I have for you is what do you think is happening to the Hong Kong dissidents? You know, the people who just disappear? China has been doing this a long time. I’ll even go so far as to say they haven’t stopped doing it since Mao.

As a result, we have indications, alarming snippets, satellite evidence — but far from the whole story.

The report says between 1 million and 3 million people are detained; Hoja says she believes the higher number, but it can’t be proven.

The report refers to more than 880,000 Uyghur children being put in boarding facilities — often after their parents are illegally detained — but that was only through 2019.

Researchers uncover dramatic drops in Uyghur birth rates — in 2019, “at least 186,400 fewer children were born in Xinjiang compared to what would have been expected if birth rates had remained static at the pre-2017 baseline,” the report says — but then China hides more data, so reports are dated, fragmentary and, almost certainly, far less terrible than the truth.

What is to be done? The report calls on China, which proclaims its innocence, to allow a U.N.-authorized commission access to Xinjiang to investigate. Certainly it should be at the top of President Biden’s agenda when he holds a tele-summit with President Xi Jinping on Monday.

Those are pretty heavy statistics and this is just what we know. This is also just with the persecution of the Uyghurs. Like I said, this does not include dissidents.

Of course Biden is not going to do anything about it. He’s weak. He’s senile. He doesn’t want any problems with China. He’s probably compromised by China thanks to his garbage son. But worse, Biden wants the United States to be like China. We’ll get to that in a few minutes too.

Hoja puts it more simply: “Please, I ask international community, break silence,” she said. “This is not a Uyghur tragedy. This is a human tragedy.”

Will Coca-Cola and other Olympic sponsors really just pretend none of it is happening? “We stand with those seeking justice and equality,” chairman and CEO James Quincey declared last year.

On its website, the company boasts of being the longest continuous sponsor of the International Olympic Committee because they share the “same core values of friendship, respect, inclusion, integrity and excellence.”

At a congressional hearing in July, Coca-Cola executive Paul Lalli said the sponsors have no say in where the Games take place. “We support and follow the athletes wherever they compete,” Lalli said.

That may be true. Also true: There will be no “justice and equality” for the Uyghur women being kicked, raped and sterilized as the ice-dancing competition unfolds; no “respect and inclusion” for Uyghur infants being seized from their parents as skiers race down the slalom course.

“The future of a people may depend on swift, coordinated action by global actors,” the report says.

Or we all can pretend it’s not happening, grab a Coke and enjoy the Games.

Like I said, Hiatt is focusing only on sponsors, specifically Coke. I don’t drink Coke because it’s bad for me but also because of the reasons he’s talking about. But he only scratches the surface of the problem. I don’t know what Coke did to piss him off but Coke is not the only sponsor. What about Intel, Omega, Panasonic, Samsung, Toyota, just to name a few.

What about the companies that manufacture their goods in China like Apple, Nike, Addidas, Acer, Banana Republic, Crabtree & Evelyn and Dell, just to name a few. Shouldn’t they be condemned for using slave labor to manufacture their good just to sell them to us?

What about the United States government? Why aren’t we putting sanctions on China? Why aren’t we tariffing the crap out of China to force American manufacturers back to America? Better yet, why are we sending our Olympians to China in three months?

I love the article because it brings up the terror that the Chinese communist party is putting upon its people and all communist countries. The Soviet Union had its gulags. Cuba had work camps. Nazi Germany had its concentration camps.

I have a couple of clips from the news show Firing Line. On it is Chinese dissident, Ai Weiwei. He had some dire words for the United States and their condition. The person interviewing him is Margaret Hoover.

Some things:

  • Hoover is trying to get Weiwei to say the Trump is a authoritarian. Watch the video and see her face when he says that Trump was not. But this was not the important part of the clip.
  • “You are already in an authoritarian state, you just don’t know it.” This is a shocking statement.
    • The system (education, entertainment, big business, tech, media, even the FBI and military) is all Leftist.
    • Joe Biden is a Leftist and he has the backing of the system. He’s already asserting himself as an authoritarian.
      • The mask and vaccine mandates.
      • The border crisis.
      • High taxes.
      • Inflation.
      • Energy prices.
      • All of this is not a problem but a feature. It is used for control.
  • Political correctness is the true evil. It creates groups that cannot get along because these group see themselves as, not only right, but divine. And they see the other group as evil. You see this on a daily basis with cancel culture.
  • This has brought up by many American political philosophers (Tucker Carlson, Ben Shapiro, Michael Knowles and Mark Levin). But they said that we weren’t there yet. Weiwei says we are already there.

This is a pretty stark statement. Very uncomfortable. But I do have some good news for you. Panic not. At least not yet.

This is brilliant. Because of the language barrier his point might be muddled but he’s saying we are bombarded with information from the Internet and social media. But we don’t understand that information. Most people have limited life experience. Then, they internalize the information and make it part of their belief system. They get that information confirmed by whatever they decide to read and reject anything that counters that belief or “knowledge”.

With the example of China, people like socialism. I get it, it’s a great idea. But it’s dependent on people being perfect and completely alike, which we aren’t so it always fails.

The second part, he’s saying something I have always believed and you may have heard me say this multiple times:

“We need a war.”

The United States has become fat and lazy. We have it too good. Even the poor have televisions, cars and smart phones. We have it so good that people don’t look at the world around them and see what’s really going on in the world. Do you really think LGBTQ and racism crap is really an issue in this country? Of course it’s not. If we decided to take serious the issues in China, Afghanistan, Iran or Russia, everyone would know how stupid our piddly problems are. Dude, they are committing genocide in China that is comparable to Nazi Germany and we’re worried about what pronouns to use. Really?

Episode 427 – Not A Whistleblower

A Facebook whistleblower testifies in front of Congress.

I think the Department of Justice needs to look up what defines a terrorist.

And World War III might be on the table.

 

The Whistleblower That’s Not

There was a Facebook “whistleblower” in front to the Senate yesterday saying that Facebook needed to be heavily regulated.

Frances Haugen said that Facebook cared more about profits than the safety of the children who use Facebook, especially girls. She said:

The company’s leadership knows how to make Facebook and Instagram safer but won’t make the necessary changes because they have put their astronomical profits before people. Congressional action is needed. They won’t solve this crisis without your help.

Companies have 100% control over their algorithms, and Facebook should not get a free pass on choices it makes to prioritize growth and virality and reactiveness over public safety. They’re paying for their profits right now with our safety.

Couple of things:

  • This is not a crisis.
  • She seems more concerned about Facebook making profits.
  • Private companies should have control over their algorithms. That is a company’s intellectual property. She wants the government to control it. Why? We’ll answer that later.
  • Facebook is not selling cigarettes or crack. What do they have to do with the safety of children, especially girls?
    • Isn’t that the problem of the parents?
    • Isn’t this the same argument made against television commercials?
  • And, by the way, teenagers being insecure is a new thing?

Nothing she is saying here is new. We’ll see later that there is an ulterior motive to all this.

She said that she did not think (why anyone cares what she thinks shocks me) Facebook should be broken up but there needs to be a change to section 230. Section 230 is what makes a company not responsible for third party content while being able to control offensive content like porn. She said:

I think if we had appropriate oversight, or if we reformed Section 230 to make Facebook responsible for the consequences of their intentional ranking decisions, I think they would get rid of engagement-based ranking because it is causing teenagers to be exposed to more anorexia content. It is pulling families apart, and in places like Ethiopia, it is literally fanning ethnic violence.

Some things:

  • I think there should be changes to section 230 too. But those changes should allow me to sue Facebook when they block me.
  • This should not be something that the government forces Facebook to do something.
  • Notice, she’s talking about women and ethnic violence? How woke of her.

Some things about her entire 3 1/2 hour testimony:

  • She wants the government to regulate Facebook.
    • She thinks the algorithms should be reviewed and controlled by the government. That’s unconstitutional because it is a violation private business and intellectual property laws.
    • She thinks there should be a governmental regulator that Mark Zuckerberg has to report to.
    • One person she suggested was herself. That’s right. She’s saying the government should make her Mark Zuckerberg’s boss.
  • All her complaints stem from Left wing talking points.

Mark Zuckerberg released a 1300 word statement about this whole thing on Facebook. I won’t go over it because I already know this bitch is full of shit (we’ll go over that in a second). The only thing I remember is he said this gal is not a professional for Facebook and knows nothing about the inner workings.

I believe that.

 

What Is This Really?

Frances Haugen is not a whistleblower. She’s a Left wing plant that has put out this non-information so that Democrats can undermine and takeover Facebook, controlling what data see on Facebook. Period.

Haugen has, throughout her life, shown she is sympathetic for Leftist policies:

  • She donated to Leftist politicians like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
  • She’s donated to the “Courage to Change” Political Action Committee.
  • She complained that Google was not inclusive enough of women.
  • Frances Haugen was behind a “recent change to give users the option to filter searches to specific skin tones.
  • At Gigster, she gave a talk on how “if we don’t build with an eye towards inclusion, we can end up enshrining bias.”
  • Despite having money for political donations, in January 2020, Haugen had a $44,000 federal tax lien placed against her for unpaid taxes, according to public records reviewed by The Daily Wire. The lien was released on May 17, 2021. Those lawyers are Whistleblower Aid, a group founded by Mark Zaid, who previously represented the national security official who alleged that Donald Trump inappropriately pressed the Ukraine president on a phone call.

Those People Are Terrorists?

Last year, BLM did about $3 billion in damage through rioting.

Antifa took over a section of Portland, burned down a police station and assaults citizens on a daily basis.

In Chicago, gangs have shot thousands a year.

At the border, the drug cartels are trafficking people, committing rape and murder and are importing dangerous drugs into this country.

But, do you know who is being referred to as a domestic terrorists? Conservative parents who do not want their kids being taught critical race theory or critical gender theory.

Last week, the National School Board Association sent a letter to President Biden stating:

“America’s public schools and its education leaders are under an immediate threat. The National School Boards Association respectfully asks for federal law enforcement and other assistance to deal with the growing number of threats of violence and acts of intimidation occurring across the nation.”

On Monday, the Biden administration responded.

In a letter, Merrick Garland said:

This is a lie. There have been some scuffles at board meetings but not against board members and there are very few videos of anything outside of parents yelling at the school boards (usually run by people who don’t have kids in the school districts).

I find it amazing how the Biden administration continues to demonize Americans and Conservatives. I can’t wait to hear the stories that are going to come out that some parent, who bitched at a school board, ends up being banned from a plane flight because he’s considered a terrorist.

Here’s the thing, we hear all the time now about how parents should have a say in their education. Here’s Virginia Democratic governor candidate, Terry McAuliffe saying just that:

Parents need are beginning to take the bull by the horns. Schools have become indoctrination factories and McAuliffe’s statement basically proves that. The state doesn’t want you to raise your own kids. They are considered property of the state. This is why the Left is so against school choice. Private schools don’t teach this crap. They don’t teach that all white people are racists and that you can change your gender at the drop of a hat. They don’t teach math like it’s racist. They make student learn the STEM fields, learn to read and write. In other words, the teach students to be productive citizens. This is not a goal of the public school systems and the teacher unions. It’s to make good radical activists.

Well, parents are sick of not having a say about their children’s education. And they’re speaking up. You know what they should do not. Double down. Continue doing this. Continue fighting. Make those school boards uncomfortable. Fight for their kids. Apparently, what parents were doing before has worked. The school boards are getting nervous, not for their lives like the NSBC wants you to believe, but are afraid of the dissent and protest. We need to keep it up.

World War III is Coming

Chinese state media, the Global Times, released an editorial basically saying that China is ready for war.

You may remember that China sent over 150 war planes over Taiwan, which is an independent country. China sees Taiwan as part of China and swore they would “take back” the country from the secessionists. Taiwan has been working with Australia, Japan, Briton and the United States to try to discourage China’s aggression.

The publication stated:

The peaceful atmosphere that existed in the area only a few years ago has all but disappeared, and the DPP authorities now openly refer to PLA fighters as “enemy aircraft.” They have constantly hyped up claims that they are at the forefront of the so-called democratic world to resist “authoritarian rule.” The strategic collusion between the US and Japan and the DPP authorities is becoming more audacious, and the situation across the Taiwan Straits has almost lost any room for maneuver teetering on the edge of a face-off, creating a sense of urgency that the war may be triggered at any time.

The secessionist forces on the island will never be allowed to secede Taiwan from China under whatever names or by whatever means, and, the island will not be allowed to act as an outpost of the US’ strategic containment against China.

The curtain of preparations for a comprehensive military struggle by the Chinese mainland has obviously been drawn open,” the Global Times wrote. “… it has increasingly become the new mainstream public opinion on the Chinese mainland that the mainland should make earnest preparations based on the possibility of combat.

There is no force in the world whose will to ‘defend Taiwan’ is stronger than China’s will to fight against secession and achieve reunification. To be precise, they are completely incomparable. China dares to have a life-and-death fight against any force that hinders our reunification, but no force dares or is willing to fight to the death against the world’s second largest economy, as well as a nuclear power, in order to prevent China’s reunification.

On Tuesday, when asked about it, Joe Biden said, “‘I’ve spoken with Xi about Taiwan. We agree…we’ll abide by the Taiwan agreement.”

Yeah, because China doesn’t lie, right? And can you think of a better time for China to invade? The United States isn’t going to do anything because Taiwan is an ally and we don’t help our allies.

This Man is a Nut Job

Dr. Tony Fauci is at it again. I don’t understand why this guy has any authority and hasn’t been fired yet. Here he is on ABC News saying something crazy:

He also said that masks were going to be seasonal.

Yeah, no.

The Biden administration has screwed this whole thing up to high heaven.

  • They said, on the campaign trail, that they would not take a vaccine that Trump made.

  • Now they are saying we may never reach herd immunity.

Like We Needed Another Reason

A major ransomeware was discovered Friday on the Colonial Pipeline on the east coast of the United States.

  • Ransomware is when data is encrypted with an unknown key. The only way a company can unlock their data is to pay the hackers for the key or restore data from backup.
  • Colonial Pipeline operates a 5,500-mile system taking fuel from the refineries of the Gulf Coast to the New York metro area.
  • The pipeline transports more than 100 million gallons a day, or roughly 45% of fuel consumed on the East Coast, according to the company’s website.
  • Prices are already up $0.06 and we have the highest national average since November of 2014 at $2.96 a gallon.
  • Gas in California is already ay $4.00 a gallon.
  • The pipeline was shutdown until the hack could be controlled. Though the main lines are down, some of the smaller lines remain running.
  • The FBI confirmed in a statement on Monday that the DarkSide ransomware group is responsible for the Colonial Pipeline attack.
  • DarkSide is among ransomware gangs that have “professionalized” a criminal industry that has cost Western nations tens of billions of dollars in losses in the past three years.
  • DarkSide is an Eastern European hackers group.

Episode 316 – We Should Be Talking a Bit More About This

We are in a serious mess. Not because me who think they are women should compete against women. Not because everyone is a racist. Not because our children are being raised as mindless zombies. Not even because there are factions of this country that want to destroy moral and philosophical base of this country. These are important but we can get over these cultural problems…hopefully.

There are immediate threats in the world that I find are more dire and need a leader that is going to be able to counter and deter these threats. Looking at Joe Biden, who can barely string together a sentence and took a header trying to get up to Air Force 1 last week, I hardly think we have that kind of leadership. What’s worse, our enemies around the world know it too. It cannot be anymore obvious than what happened last week.

Let’s talk about it.

 

The Story

One of the areas where Joe Biden and the Democrats have always been weak is foreign policy. Democrats have always been more concerned with appeasement and money than actually putting evil countries in their place. Real diplomacy must come from a position of strength not weakness or surrender. We have seen this policy with North Korea, Iran, China and the European Union. For some reason, the Democrats feel the need to apologize and bend the knee to other countries.

This type of diplomacy has consequences. We end up losing respect from, not only our enemies, but all other nations. I understand that the Democrats believe in globalism. We are one world, one nation, with no borders. Here’s the problem: no other country believes in that. Even the European Union, through Brexit, is learning that nationalism is still the main philosophy of most countries and their citizens.

Last week, the disrespect for the United States and its leadership became apparent.

 

China

The United States and China met on Thursday of last week. To say that China ate our lunch during this meeting would be an understatement. What’s worse, China really showed how full of shit they are and the Biden administration never pushed back.

National security adviser Jake Sullivan reiterated that the U.S. had “concern[s]” with China’s “economic and military coercion to assaults on basic values,” but said that they “do not seek conflict, but we welcome stiff competition and we will always stand up for our principles, for our people, and for our friends.”

That did it.

China’s representatives at the meeting were Chinese Foreign Minister and State Councilor Wang Yi and Yang Jiechi, director of the Central Foreign Affairs Commission of the Chinese Communist Party.

Yang touted the power that the Communist Party of China has in their country and highlighted what he claimed were Chinese achievements before immediately going on the attack against the U.S. Yang’s initial attacks on the U.S. included:

Yang openly mocked Blinken’s comments about “‘rules-based’ international order.” Yang said, “What China and the international community follow or uphold is the United Nations-centered international system and the international order underpinned by international law, not what is advocated by a small number of countries of the so-called ‘rules-based’ international order.”

We need to get rid of the UN because they cow-tow to China and Russia.

This is the first problem with globalists. They don’t understand that a lot of other countries are nationalists first then, when they get what they want, worry about the rest of the world.

Yang openly mocked the “United States-style democracy,” saying that the “Chinese-style democracy,” which does not truly exist, had contributed to “peace and development of the world” while he accused the U.S. of “invading” other nations “through use of force” and toppling “regimes through various means” and massacring “people of other countries.”

They also claimed to have ended poverty and established a peaceful and efficient culture. They failed to mention the attacks against Tibet, Hing Kong, India and the threats against Taiwan. They failed to mention The arrests and “re-education” of dissidents including government officials. They failed to mention the President Xi has declared himself President for life, in other words, a dictator. They failed to mention about the torture, rape and murders of the Wiegers in concentration camps.

You know who else failed to mention that? Jack Sullivan and Antoney Bilken.

As far and invading other countries and massacring foreign peoples, I’m not sure where that is coming from.

Yang exploited political divisions in the U.S., saying “many people within the United States actually have little confidence in the democracy of the United States, and they have various views regarding the Government of the United States.”

Fact check: sort of.

Most Americans citizens don’t believe in the news media or the Leftists views. They are just the loudest. But, unless we can stop with the indoctrination of our children by the school system, entertainment and the news media, China could be right and we will be at the mercies of a growing China.

Yang also cited the Black Lives Matter movement to attack the U.S. on the issue of human rights, saying that there were “many problems within the United States regarding human rights.”

BLM and Antifa are Marxist ideologies that, for some reason, the youth is embracing. But they are hardly the strong examples of American ideology. I will even go so far that a lot of the youth is beginning and will continue to reject this ideology.

“On cyber attacks, let me say that whether it’s the ability to launch cyber attacks or the technologies that could be deployed, the United States is the champion in this regard,” Yang said. “You can’t blame this problem on somebody else.”

We aren’t but we should be. We created the Internet. We should make it that if someone attacks us over the Internet, we should shut their power grids down for an hour.

Yang openly mocked the U.S. and the Biden administration, saying that it did not “represent international public opinion” and neither does the Western world. “Whether judged by population scale or the trend of the world, the Western world does not represent the global public opinion,” Yang said. “So we hope that when talking about universal values or international public opinion on the part of the United States, we hope the U.S. side will think about whether it feels reassured in saying those things, because the U.S. does not represent the world. It only represents the Government of the United States.”

Question for you: Would they have said any of this about the Trump administration?

Secretary of State Bilken and Sullivan had no answers. Like the rest of the Biden administration, they showed weakness in front of an enemy. They are not our friends. They hate us. They want us destroyed. They see what we are doing and know they do not have to fire a single shot to win a cold war. All they have to do is wait, grow (through tyranny) and let us implode.

Russia

In an interview on ABC News with Democratic activist George Stephonopolis, Joe Biden was asked a question about the President of Russia, Vladamir Putin.

Biden threatened to place sanctions on Russia for interfering and spreading misinformation during the 2020 elections.

At first, Vlad took the insult in stride. He said:

“I would say to him: I wish you good health. Although they think we are the same as them, we are different people; we have a different genetic and cultural-moral code. But we know how to defend our own interests, and we will work with them but in those areas in which we are interested and on terms we consider favorable for us. And they will have to reckon with that.”

But he had a little time to think about it and Vlad got ticked off. He later said:

“I want to offer President Biden to continue our discussion but on the condition that we do it live, online, without any delays but in an open, direct discussion.”

Oops. Joe Biden won’t talk live in front of a press that loves him. There is no way he’s going to hold a live conversation with Vlad Putin. Nothing good could come from that. And Vlad Putin knows it. Now, before you think Vlad was kidding, he sent a message to the Biden administration asking for the meeting.

Press Secretary, Jen Psaki, was asked about the incident:

REPORTER: While you’ve been briefing, President Putin has just extended an invitation to President Biden to continue their conversation, but this time he wants to do it live. He’s asking for a livestreamed conversation, an open, direct dialogue. Putin says he’s available tomorrow or Monday. Is this something that you would consider?

PSAKI: I’ll have to get back to you if that is something we are entertaining. I would say that the President already had a conversation already with President Putin, even if — as there are more world leaders that he has not yet engaged with. And we engage with Russian leaders, members of the government at all levels, but I don’t have anything to report to you in terms of a future meeting. The President will, of course, be in Georgia tomorrow and quite busy.

The Kremlin responded:

“An inquiry has been made and there is either an answer or the absence of an answer to it. The absence of an answer is generally a refusal from such communication.”

The White House is going to downplay this and hope it goes away. The way the media does their job, this will be short lived. But this does show the lack of respect Russia has for the Biden administration. Putin wants the opportunity to make Biden look bad and weak. Though they did not have a conversation live on television, he accomplished his goal. To make Joe Biden look like an old fool and a coward.

North Korea

Things with North Korea look like they are returning to normal after Trump left office.

  • North Korea refused to speak with the Biden administration. They have yet to return calls even though the administration has tried to contact the North Korean leader several times.
  • North Korea is going to restart missile and nuclear testing.
  • North Korean has started threatening the United States and South Korea if they have their yearly war games.

Iran is also stepping up in its sabre rattling. Of course, this was sure to happen since Biden is very sympathetic to Iran and hates Israel, especially Benjamin Netanyahu.

Episode 300 – The Saga Continues

Biden…ugh…

The media is blowing up on a Ted Cruz error while ignoring everything else.

What a Disaster This Guy Is

Joe Biden and CNN held a town hall on Tuesday. As expected, there were hard hitting questions like this one by moderator Anderson Cooper:

Yep, I didn’t bother watching it all. But the summary of it won’t be too surprising. Biden continued to look old and his answers were rambling. Some of the time, I thought he forgot the question in the middle of the answer.

Anderson Cooper did not ask hard hitting questions. They continued to blame the Trump administration for all the world ills. Be prepared for that to continue as Biden begins to mess up COVID, opening the schools and the economy and the inflation rate begins to go up. Cooper never pushed back, never asked the tough questions and avoided bringing up anything controversial like the Andrew Cuomo scandal.

But, we did learn some things. And they were not good. Here is something that can be seen as a gaff but I am not sure about that. Listen and then I’ll explain.

There are two things about this statement.

The first is what he said about getting the injections into the arms of the people. This is a consistent talking point of the Biden administration that the Trump administration did not have a plan for vaccinations. In fact, the Trump administration did have a plan. The plan got to 1 million vaccinations through the country per day. Biden and Harris didn’t seem to know that. They said they were going to get 100 million vaccinations in his first 100 days. That’s 1 million vaccinations a day. They had to walk that one back.

The second problem here is the “gaff” he made about there being no vaccine available when he took office. Now, it could be a gaff but with the revisionist history going on in America, do not be surprised if, a couple of years from now, Biden gets full credit for the vaccine creation. That may be paranoid, but I am going to reserve calling this one a gaff.

Anderson Cooper asked Joe about when the country could get back to normal. He talked a little about herd immunity and the vaccine. It took him almost four minutes to get to the point. Here is his point:

A year?! A year?! This guy ran on the China virus being eliminated and now he’s talking about wearing two to fifteen masks for a year?! That ain’t going to cut it. Our kids are getting fat, depressed and killing themselves. They need school. My relationship with my fiancé is suffering because we have nothing to do. We go on hikes or to the casino because they are on Indian reservations and ignore California regulations. But I don’t gamble!

This is insane. It’s not going to happen. We are not going to keep ourselves locked away for a year. As a matter of fact, there are doctors at John Hopkins that are saying we should  be at herd immunity by April or May, not December. I plan to go to a baseball game this year. I plan to sit in a restaurant to eat dinner this year. I plan to go out without a mask and give a friend a hug and shake hands again.

But that wasn’t the craziest thing Biden said. Listen to this about China:

This is what is happening in China:

  • Concentration camps.
  • Torture.
  • Executions.
  • Forced sterilizations.
  • The One Child policy.
  • Imprisonment with no due process.
  • Slave labor (your iPhone and Nikes).
  • Confiscation of property.
  • Theft of intellectual property.
  • Starvation.
  • Military occupation of Hong Kong.
  • Threats of invasion of Taiwan and, more recently, India.
  • Propaganda spread through the United Nations and the World Health Organization.
  • Infiltration of the United States government, entertainment, sports and education with spy and propaganda machines. This is not a conspiracy, we know this.

 

This is China and we’ve known it for many years. There are three things that disturb me about Biden’s statement here.

The first is that he is excusing genocide, which is the killing of people based on race, religion or beliefs. Question for you: What if we just looked at the genocide in Nazi Germany as a “cultural difference” that we had to ignore because that’s what Hitler had to do to be the leader of Nazi Germany?

The second is that it is looking like Biden is going to go easy on China. We shouldn’t be surprised about this considering his families’ financial dealings in China, including money Joe Biden probably got.

Finally, what does it say that our President is so easily willing to dismiss genocide as no big deal? Does old Joe or any of his minions think it might be a good idea to implement here? Don’t be too sure that is not a thing. Let’s see how many people are arrested during the Biden administration because they said something dangerous to the regime. Don’t think it’s a thing in this country? Ask Dinesh Dizouza, Roger Stone and George Papadopoulos if it is a thing.

 

Really? Now?

Ted Cruz, the Senator from Texas, took a vacation to Cancun with his family. So what? He took it in the middle of the worst winter storm in Texas in over 100 years. People did not have power and 24 people die.

Oh.

This is not a great thing. Maybe he should have waited a few weeks before he decided to do this. It shows him as rather callous, taking a, “not my problem tone”. I see it. That sucked. It looked bad. This is going to be used against him in the next election and it will hurt him.

But here’s the question: Is this hypocrisy? No, better yet, is this the worst example of hypocrisy of an American history in the last four years?

Yeah, no.

So why is the media focusing everything on Ted Cruz? Cause he’s a Conservative Senator, that’s why.

The news has covered this “scandal” at a rate of 6 to 1 when it comes to the real scandal of Andrew Cuomo hiding deaths for his idiotic policies involving sticking COVID patients back into retirement homes. This amazes me. By the way, Cuomo’s lie has gone from 50% to 60% according to the investigation. So his lie seems to be going bigger by the second.

There are some distinct differences between Cuomo and Cruz:

Cruz made a bad optic decision. His policies had nothing to do with the storm or the power going out in Texas. In fact, Cruz is a federal employee (a Senator) not a state employee. He has no say. That doesn’t mean there won’t be consequences but he didn’t have anything to do with it. Cuomo’s policies led directly to 6400 more COVID deaths in his state. Then he hid the numbers.

There is no hypocrisy here. Cruz never said we shouldn’t travel. Unlike Cuomo, Newsom, Lightfoot and Pelosi who want to shut the entire country down than do whatever they want like eat at a posh restaurant with a crowd or get their hair done.

Cruz didn’t gain anything from his travel by lying about his situation except maybe a headache for his next election. Cuomo had a bad policy, killed people, wrote a book about how great his leadership was, designed a poster to show how great his leadership was and won an Emmy.

Not the same thing. It was a bad look and tone deaf. But he didn’t cause any of this and didn’t kill anyone. Cruz apologized and I think that was a mistake. No one will forgive him except Conservatives that like his policies. I personally think it was a mistake and we all make mistakes. But his apology will be used by Leftists to crucify him in the future. Seems to me he should have just taken the heat.

Gorilla Girl Saga Continues

The Gorilla Glue Girl Saga continues. It’s stupid but too deliciously funny to ignore. I bet you my left arm that this gal is going to get her own reality television show before this is all said and done.

Good news! She had her surgery and her hair is fixed. It will grow back and she can’t gussie herself up for a few month. Some had to be removed so she’ll have to wear a hat for a while but it will all come in normally.

Bad news: Her GoFundMe account has been suspended because the company is investigating her for fraud. There are several bloggers who say she is full of shit. She has $28,000 waiting for her once this whole thing is done. If her surgery only cost her $17,000 she, in theory, is going to make a $10,000 profit. Not sure how GoFundMe works with extra money but good for her. If people are stupid enough to donate to her, they should lose their money.

There was a rumor that she was going to sue the company that makes Gorilla Glue for $10 million because the company did not put any warnings on the bottle (actually they do have warnings on the bottle but nothing specifically about hair). She said that was untrue. She’s not suing anybody. It would make sense if she did because that’s the world we live in and we, as a society, seem to embrace stupidity.

The company that makes Gorilla Glue can afford it if she does sue. Apparently their sales have gone through the roof since this gal’s video went viral.

Finally, the Washington Post informed us why she put Gorilla Glue in her hair. It wasn’t because she’s an idiot. It’s because of that old bug-a-boo, systemic racism. Here’s what they said:

“I thought of Malcolm X and his experience with the conk,” said the Foundation Professor of English and founding director of Project Humanities at Arizona State University, referring to the hair straightener made of lye, eggs and potatoes used by many Black people in the earlier and middle part of the 20th century. “That stringing started with enslaved people using axle wheel grease and dirty dishwasher with oil.”

Enslaved men used axle wheel grease as a means to dye their hair or temporarily straighten it, and the women would use butter, fat from bacon or grease from geese to care for their hair, according to “Hair Story: Untangling the Roots of Black Hair in America.”

“Sometimes a piece of cloth warmed over a flame would be pulled across the head and worn for a short while to stretch the curls out,” authors Ayana Byrd and Lori Tharps wrote.

Conversations about hair, especially Black hair, continue to evolve, Lester said, pointing to how Olympian Gabby Douglas was talked about when her edges weren’t slick enough for some or the criticism lodged at superstar Beyoncé for allowing her oldest daughter’s curls and kinks to do their own thing.

The story stopped with the racism thing. Gorilla Glue Girl talked about her surgery and how she was dealing with it. She talked about how things would go back to normal and how she would not stop. She said she wasn’t going to sue anyone. Bitched about not getting her money from GoFundMe. Really mundane shit you would expect to hear from a simpleton. I thought the commentary was over.

But the Washington Post decided to keep beating that dead horse. They concluded the article:

Black women’s hair choices are often labeled as self-hate or Afrocentric with no in between, said Kristin Denise Rowe, professor of American studies at California State University at Fullerton.

“Many of us have not been in that particular predicament, but we know what it’s like to do something crazy … to get it to lay a certain way, such as toothbrushes for our baby hair,” she said.

Black women’s hair care has long been discussed like it’s a freak show, with comments about how much they spend on straightening treatments or hair extensions, Rowe said. That’s missing a lot of nuance about how these things come to be cultural practices, Rowe said.

“In reality, what’s crazy is anti-Black notions of beauty and professionalism and notions of what’s appropriate,” she said.

Grooming standards in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy have recently been updated to include the styles many Black women wear to protect their natural hair, and just seven states have passed the Crown Act, a law that seeks to put an end to hair discrimination.

“We know we exist in a society where we’re constantly being told it’s not right now,” Rowe said of the sector of support for Brown.

A couple of things about this article. When I write, I try to avoid doing what this writer did. Of course, I believe in perfectionism so I’m a white supremacist and the writer is more woke than I am. What Lateshia Beachum did was use facts about a really stupid story (facts are what I was looking for here) than try to mix deep intellectual societal commentary. Do I really need to know the reasons a Cal State Fullerton professor thinks why this gal stuck super glue in her hair?

I also question what our university professors are doing all day. They seem to always seem to have some social, historical and political opinions on some of the most mundane crap. I could be a professor or a columnist for the Washington Post. I bet I could come up with a thousand word article on why shoe laces are racist and promote the patriarchy. I swear it, just give me enough time.

Football has decided to go woke.

When the season starts on September 10th, rumors are swirling that the NFL players are going to be able to don messages of social justice and police brutality on their helmets.

Front Office Sports reported:

“The NFL’s 1,700-plus players will likely be invited to wear helmet decals bearing the names or initials of police violence victims and systemic racism, sources told Front Office Sports. The league office is working with the NFL Players Association to compile a list of names in time for the start of the regular seasons, which is currently scheduled to begin on September 10, said sources. The players will provide the names.”

For years, the NFL has been kind of touchy about letting teams change the uniforms. Outside of small decals that represent the deaths of certain people, the uniforms have remained unchanged. In 2016, the Dallas Cowboys wanted to wear special uniforms in honor of the five police officers who were murdered in Dallas during a mass shooting (coincidentally, by a woke BLM terrorist) during training camp. The NFL refused to let them.

Rumor has it that teams can choose one insignia that all wear for each player or each player can wear one of their choosing (there could be as many as fifteen different designs).

When Colin Kapernick decided to start kneeling for the National Anthem, I was turned off by all the political bullshit. I actually stopped watching. I wasn’t protesting or boycotting or anything like that. I was just pissed off. Apparently, I wasn’t the only one. The attendance and viewership for the NFL dropped by 20%.

They just will never learn.

Baseball

America’s game might be going to hell too.

Several players and coaches for the San Francisco Giants (probably shouldn’t be much of a surprise) decided to kneel during the National Anthem.

According to MLB Reports:

“Several Giants, including manager Gabe Kapler, first-base coach Antoan Richardson, hitting coach Justin Viele and outfielders Jaylin Davis, Mike Yastrzemski, and Austin Slater, took a knee during the national anthem before Monday’s exhibition game in Oakland. Shortstop Brandon Crawford stood between Davis and Richardson and put his hand on their shoulders in a show of support.”

Gabe Kapler, who is a vocal supporter of Black Lives Matter, stated:

“I did that because I wanted them to know I wasn’t pleased with the way our country has handled police brutality. I told them I wanted to amplify their voices, and I wanted to amplify the voices of the Black community and marginalized communities as well.”

This brought a wave of protests from fans on Twitter:

The MLB never responded. Hopefully, this will be a wake up call for the MLB. I really like baseball and will miss it if the MLB doesn’t have the courage to force its players, who are paid very well, to keep politics out of entertainment.

Basketball

I haven’t watched basketball since Shaq and Kobe won their five championships. You know why? Because the game has been changed to the point a foul is called every time someone coughs, the players whiny and showboats and the Lakers have sucked for so long.

Well, now I have another reason not to watch.

Disney will write Black Lives Matter on the playing surface in their two arenas. The NBA will be playing in those arenas during the Wuhan flu epidemic. Notice I didn’t call it COVID-19. There’s a reason I wanted to point out the virus is from China. Just wait.

The NBA has decided to let the players replace the names on the back of their jerseys with social justice phrases.

It’s Coming to a Head

You know what one phrase the NBA will not allow on the back of their jerseys? Free Hong Kong. That is because the NBA gets a lot of their money from China. Same with Nike and Apple. That is why I will never go to an NBA game, wear Nikes or own an iPhone. China is probably one of the most evil civilizations in human history. Well their evil is coming to light.

The DOJ has charged Chinese hackers of trying to steal COVID-19 vaccine information. This shows:

  • China cannot create anything.
  • China probably does not have the virus under control.
  • They cannot be trusted.

The United States not trusting China came to a head when Secretary Pompeo ordered the closure of the Chinese consulate in Houston. He said that China had been running an intelligence gathering ring from the consulate and it had nothing to do with diplomacy. They were given 72 hours to clear the building and leave the country. The Chinese responded by starting to burn all their paperwork, pretty much showing that they had some things to hide. The fires were so large, the Houston fire department was closed.

The State Department stated:

“The United States will not tolerate the PRC’s (People Republic of China) violations of our sovereignty and intimidation of our people, just as we have not tolerated the PRC’s unfair trade practices, theft of American jobs, and other egregious behavior. We have directed the closure of PRC Consulate General Houston, in order to protect American intellectual property and American’s [sic] private information.”

Senator Marco Rubio said:

“China’s Houston consulate is a massive spy center, forcing it to close is long overdue. China’s consulate in Houston is not a diplomatic facility. It is the central node of the Communist Party’s vast network of spies & influence operations in the United States. Now that building must close & the spies have 72 hours to leave or face arrest. This needed to happen.”

China has promised that there would be consequences for this.

China has also not been great with human rights:

  • Thousands of Hong Kongers are being arrested and sent to China for trial and punishment (actually, re-education).
  • China appears to be preparing for an invasion against the democracy of Taiwan. Why not?
  • Uighurs, Chinese Muslims, are being arrested, having their heads shaved and being placed in cattle cars to be sent to re-education camps. (play video)

 

Does this sound familiar? Nazi Germany did this. The Soviet Union did this. Cuba does this. North Korea does this. Venezuela does this.

Ain’t socialism grand. No wonder the NBA supports China but will piss on the United States any chance they get.

 

Conclusion

The United States and China are entering a cold war. When we start closing consulates, it is pretty much a done deal. I don’t think this is a bad idea. China depends on the United States for survival and have gotten too cocky to remember that. Trump has already threatened to cut off all trade with China, which will make them more aggressive militarily and kill their economy.

Now, when I saw busy militarily, I don’t mean they will fight us. We are too far away and way ahead of them technologically. Heck, half their military technology is ours. But countries like Hong Kong, Taiwan, India and South Korea do have to worry. Why?

Because socialism does not allow for innovation or production because there is not incentive system. What I make in China belongs to the government. I get nothing. So why would I bother creating anything. How do socialist countries get what they need? They take it from some other country or force their people, under threat, to create (which never works, Chernobyl is proof of that). Can Xi Jinping has become the most powerful Chinese leader since Mao. They need to be broken like the United States broke the Soviet Union.

Does that mean China is not dangerous? Not at all. The COVID-19 virus, which may or may not have been purposely released, shows the power of a biological weapon. The Chinese government, who do not care about their people, did profit from this for the short term. They were selling PPE and crappy tests (85% accurate). They, quietly because it was under-covered, took over Hong Kong, imprisoned Uighurs and threatening Taiwan. This is why they need to be isolated.

But China can be toppled and I think a lot faster than the Soviet Union. A lot of people have said so. Someone just has to have the balls to do it.

Episode 172 Show Notes – An Election Narrative Has Been Found

You know what a Haiku is? It’s a Japanese poem that is made up of three lines. The first and third line has five syllables and the second line has seven syllables. I started experimenting with them on Twitter a little. I thought this would be the perfect introduction for my podcasts. Let’s start today.

Murder caught on film.
Protests turn to wild mobs.
New narrative found.

A Tragic Death

A black man named George Floyd was arrested for handing out a fake $20 bill in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

He was arrested by four Minneapolis police officers.

Supposedly, though there is no video of it, Floyd resisted and he was taken to the ground by a couple of officers. One of those officers was Derek Chauvin.

Video was taken of Chauvin with his knee on Floyd’s throat for close to eight minutes. What was very disturbing is Floyd was complaining he could not breathe, blood was coming out of his nose and it appeared that Chauvin had his entire body weight on Floyd’s throat.

When Chauvin got off of Floyd, Floyd was unconscious and died a few hours later.

This video is horrid and what Chauvin did was terrible. I protect the police as much as I can but this was as bad as that cop in Chicago shooting an unarmed black kid in the back for being stoned.

The four officers were immediately fire. It was found that Chauvin had eighteen prior complaints placed on him during his nineteen year career.

Four days later, On Friday, Chauvin was arrested and charged with 3rd degree murder and manslaughter.

But people were not satisfied that it took so long. I hate to say this, but I don’t blame them.

 

Reaction

The reaction was as expected. Protests started rising up. At first, the protests were loud but peaceful. They showed up at the 3rd Precinct Minneapolis Police department.

As the night fell, the protesters became more aggressive, threatening the police station and setting off fireworks. But they were still peaceful.

Later that night, all Hell broke loose.

The protests turned into a riot. Stores were destroyed and all the products were stolen. This happened for three nights and reminded me of the L.A. riots in 1992 over the Rodney King arrest.

On Friday, Protests have broken loose in Minneapolis, Atlanta, Los Angeles, San Jose, New York and Washington D.C. by the White House. Secret Service is guarding the White House. The protests started quietly but have become violent as the sun went down.,

These protests prove Democrats have no leadership. When the protests turned to riots, they pulled the police back, letting businesses fend for themselves. As far as I’m concerned, this really justifies the Second Amendment. We obviously can’t trust the government to protect us from thugs.

The Response: How Typical

Of course, President Trump weighed in on Twitter saying:

Twitter, under pressure from the Left and having an election that will probably re-elect Trump because Sleepy, Creepy Joe is incoherent, has decided to flag that Tweet as “glorifying violence:. Though it was a clumsily worded Tweet, which is a Trump thing, I hardly think it is “glorifying violence”.

But that’s another story I’m not going to get into tonight, though it is a huge story.

The Minneapolis mayor, Lefty Jacob Frey, made a speech and it was the typical Leftist speech. Blacks are dying every day et cetra.

But the real speech came from Andrea Jenkins, the transgender vice president of the Minneapolis City Council. And her/his start of his speech:

How…moving? The only thing I thought of was this is a man, not a woman. That and that he was 6’7″ and had an Adam’s apple the size of a bowling ball.

But let’s us get to the meat of her speech:

He’s a supporter of Jeremiah Wright, huh? If you don’t know who that guy is, he’s the “pastor” who Barrack Obama followed who is hugely antisemitic and was famous for saying, “It’s not God bless America. It’s God damn America.” Yeah, he’s a sweet guy.

So you can see where this guy is going.

You get that? “We’ve been racist for four hundred years”? Really? I guess she forgot about the 500,000 people who died in the Civil War to end slavery.

“We feel there is a knee on out collective necks.” A telling statement.

We are a country of institutional racism? Really? I haven’t heard one person justify this killing. In fact, the white officer was arrested and charged with murder, The Department of Justice is investigating and the FBI is investigating. That doesn’t sound like institutional racism.

Of course the media is doing their usual nang up job. Totally unbiased. Here’s Brooke Baldwin from CNN interviewing Andrea Jenkins and crying after hearing Jenkins singing Amazing Grace.

Hey, Brooke, the song wasn’t that moving.

Here’s Don Lemon from CNN, earning a couple hundred thousand a year and wearing a $2000 suit he didn’t have to pay for, bitching about how much danger he’s in because he’s black. Oh, yeah and he’s with blockhead, Chis Cuomo:

Do you know why I know everything he has said is absolute bullcrap?

  • He is a gay black man on a prime time show on CNN.
  • He has a six figure salary.
  • He’s worth $10 million dollars.

 

The Kaepernick thing is just stupid. Kapernick was protesting how terrible the United States is. He wore socks with pigs dressed like police. He is also worth about $100 million dollars. How afraid do you think he is to leave the house. I bet not very.

What people don’t understand is that Kapernick and Lemon are examples of why there is no systemic racism in the United States. They have profited from the system Just like Barrack Obama has.

Finally, blacks are not under siege. Blacks being killed by police is very rare. The fact that people can name the victims prove this. Shooting of blacks has gone down consistently since the Civil Acts bill was signed into law.

Do you know what race kills blacks more than cops? Other blacks. Look at Chicago.

Do you know what race gets killed by police shootings? White people. Do you know how Daniel Shaver is? Probably not because his shooting was never really reported. He was killed by police in a hotel while on the ground and begging not to be shot. And it was all recorded. He was white. Look it up.

 

 

Politicians

Of course, the Left wants to use this crisis to their advantage. And the news media just takes the ride and pushed their new (and old) agenda.

Let’s listen to Maxine Waters, the horrid member of congress from one of the poorest, black districts in Los Angeles:

If this woman could not drum up outrage, she wouldn’t have a job because her district, which she does not live in, would have voted her out decades ago. Now, she’ll run around, have speeches, blame Trump for everything, say how evil white people are and get elected for another twenty years.

She’s the woman who called the Los Angeles riots in 1992 an uprising. She’s just terrible.

Then there’s Sleepy Creepy Joe. Listen to his message. I mean, really listen:

Joe initially ran as a moderate. And looking at the other candidates, he was. But now, to get Bernie supporters and the rest of the Left, he feels he needs to pander further to the Left. And their goal is to change the United States socially and economically. They want to rid us of our rights and economy.

The only thing I like about his push to the Left is that he is alienating most of the country. I do believe the Left is a small population. It is growing but let’s just make sure that Trump wins the next election and hope that the younger generations figure things out.

 

 

 

Final Thoughts

Here are my thoughts over this whole thing.

  • What happened to George Floyd is horrid and the cop got what he deserved.
  • Though I don’t agree, I agree with the protests. If you’re pissed off, peaceful protest is a good thing.
  • The riots are not protests. These are not protesters. They are thugs and criminals and should not be celebrated.
  • The media is trying to create a new narrative and Leftist politicians are pushing it. That’s because Joe Biden is a garbage candidate. He’s now pandering like Hilary did in 2016. We saw how that worked out for her.
  • There is no institutional racism. Those that are screaming there is actually prove there isn’t.
  • There are bad people in the world and the United States has had its dark periods. But I don’t think this time is one of them.
  • Collectivism is evil.
  • We need the Second Amendment. The government will not protect you.

Episode 152 Show Notes – Time to See the Light and Identify the Dark

If someone could figure out how to hold a sporting event, that league would make billions right now. Guess what? All of the major sports are thinking the same thing.

President Trump and Nikki Haley blast China, as they should and the World Health Organization might be taking it in the butt because of it.

And why is the news agency protecting China?

 

Even a Virus Can’t Hold Down Capitalism

The country is getting antsy. People want to go to the mall, go to a restaurant to eat, go to the beach, go to work, be able to buy toilet paper and stop wearing those stifling masks.

But what they really want is to be able to watch a baseball game, watch the basketball and hockey playoffs and watch big men beat the ever loving crap out of themselves.

Seems to me anyone who gives the public what they want is going to make a load of money.

Good news, our professional sports teams aren’t afraid of the Wuhan flu enough to stop their seasons.

Baseball is looking to allow for regular season games to all be played in Arizona.  There are ten ballparks in Arizona for spring training. The thought is to let the teams play in Arizona when the epidemic enters the safety stage. They released the statement:

The NBA is looking to have their playoffs in Las Vegas.

The NHL is looking to play the hockey playoffs in rinks in Idaho.

In the biggest surprise, the UFC’s Dana White says he is very close to holding UFC 249 on a private island in a secret location. He is so sure it’s going to happen that he is promoting the fight. It’s scheduled for April 18th.

World Health Organization Bending the Knee to China

The World Health Organization is an embarrassment. They really screwed this thing up. Trump and his allies are pointing this out.

Now,understand this: I hate any organization that is globalist in nature. That includes the United Nations, NATO, the European Union and the WHO. These organizations are typically run by leaders from countries that have the moral decency strep throat, vote against the United States at every turn, blame the United States for everything but expect the United States to foot the bill for these awful organizations.

Hell, the United Nations building is on prime property in New York and we were the idiots that built. it. As far as I’m concerned, we should build a Starbucks and a Subway on that property and send the United Nations to Brazil. But I digress.

The World Health Organization screwed this up from the beginning. They believed China when China said that the virus was just the flu. We now know it isn’t.

They believed China when they said it could not be transmitted from person to person because China said it couldn’t be transferred that way. We now know that exactly how it was transferred.

They chastised the United States when we banned travel from China, then Asia, then Europe before we really knew anything about the virus. We now know this was the best thing Trump could have done and it helped slow the virus down.

They believed China when they gave their numbers of sick and dead and believed them when they said the epidemic was all but over. We are finding out that the total deaths in China are not just under 4000 but closer to 40,000.

As we get closer to leveling off this virus, the United States is going to look to crap on someone. The WHO is already in the sights of former UN ambassador, Nikki Haley. She said on Twitter:

And that is absolutely correct. It is not the United States or Trump that has caused all this suffering, death and economic collapse. It is China that released and lied about this beast and it was the World Health Organization that was peddling China’s propaganda.

President Trump also had something to say about China (what a shock). Now, you may notice he does not call the Wuhan flu the Chinese virus anymore. That was after a conversation he had with China’s President Xi. I don’t know what they talked about but it had an impact on Trump. We’ll probably find out later.

But he did have something to say. He Tweeted:

What a great question? Why did they give us such crappy information? But here’s a better question: why do we give them so much money?

The United States gives the World Health Organization between $400 to $500 million a year. And that’s the information we get?

You might be asking how much China gives the WHO. Would you be surprised that China only give them $2 million a year?

What the hell is going on?

 

We Just Ain’t Globalist Enough

The best way to get an idea is to listen to this interview with W.H.O. director, Bruce Aylward, being asked if Taiwan should be a member of the W.H.O. one thing to understand: Taiwan and Hong Kong are considered Chinese territories even though the are free states and have their own governments. Neither Honk Kong nor Taiwan are happy about this because of the oppression of the Chinese. Heck, Hong Kong has been fighting China for the last year.

That long pause wasn’t crappy editing by me. Aylward said he couldn’t hear the question. Then, when the reporter asked again, he said skip it and move on. When she asked again, he hung up on her.

Let’s Nuke’em!!

Trump is getting some great news from Asia. The news media wants your retirement to go away just to get rid of Trump. There are a couple of really dumb stories that the twisted news media is pushing and people are making fun of them.

 

China Blinks

On Friday, Trump applied another round of tariffs on China. China responded by applying more tariffs on U.S. products. Well, the Chinese economy did not take that well. The Chinese currency, the Yuan, crashed to its weakest since 2008. China’s equity market fell 3%. A lot of these issues involve the trade war and the protests in Honk Kong. Hong Kong’s economy,  China’s largest trade partner, is also tanking.

In response, China’s leading trade negotiator, Chinese Vice Premier Liu He, said he would like to start negotiations with the United States again. President Trump, in a Twitter post, continued to hammer away at China stating:

Trump is doubling-down on China. He’s telling them that, not only will the war continue and ratcheted up, but he will put pressure on American companies to stop dealing with China or suffer the consequences (though I am a fan of the “order you” language).

China can’t win this war. Their economy is not strong enough and they depend on this country. But, I will say it again, we will suffer. Trump is not wrong in fighting this trade war. He’s right that it should have been done years, possibly decades, ago. But he needs to tell the people what China is about. They steal hundreds of millions of dollars of our intellectual property per year. They enslave and kill their citizen not unlike what the Soviet Union did in the last century. They restrict speech of their citizens and openly monitor them.

China is not a business partner. They are an adversary. They want to dominate us. They want to dominate the world. President Trump needs to tell the American people this and justify the pain we might go through in the future. Trump needs to stop always painting a rosy picture. He needs to tell us what is going to happen and why. A lot of people in this country do not understand tariffs or the economics. Last thing he should want is to surprise people before an election.

 

Good Start at the G7

Trump announced that the U.S. and Japan have come to a trade agreement that would allow the United States to export agriculture and meat. The main commodities are corn and pork (Japan imports 25% of the U.S. pork). The deal has been agreed upon and will be signed tomorrow. Though the deal will leave existing tariffs on things such as cars, no new tariffs will be applied.

This is a big win for the United States especially because it is the agriculture industry that is taking the biggest hit from the trade war with China. This is great news for the United States and Trump should really push this since the media will not.

That being said, let’s get into some of the awesome news stories from the media.

 

Recession

This leads us to the question of recession. We have not been in a recession since about 2008. This country goes through a recession every nine to ten years. We are due for one. Combine that with the instability of Asia and the Middle East, this is a possibility. But the recession will be different. As we talked about China is struggling economically and a lot of Europe is beginning to see an economic downturn. The economy has become a global event, not just in the United States. And the United States is better equipped than anyone else to handle a recession.

But I do not think that a recession is going to be as bad in this country as it was in 2008. Remember, the 2008 recession was caused by a corrupt banking system that gave loans to people who could not afford to pay them off, creating an upside down real estate market. People were losing their homes. We were in the middle of two wars that cost trillions. We were ripe for a heavy recession.

What is really messed up is the left seems to look forward to a recession. Why does the left want us to lose all our retirement and wealth? Because a recession will be unpopular and Trump won’t win the election in 2020, of course. Bill Mahr has said this more than once.

This is what disturbs me more than we might end up in a recession. These elites hate Trump o much, they want the economy to tank. That will cost us little people our jobs and retirement. But, hey, that doesn’t matter because at least Trump is out of office. See, I like Bill Mahr. I like him because he tells the truth (he’s wrong about everything). He’s honest. He really doesn’t care about the people but, at least, he admits it (and in this case he did it twice.

It’s the same reason I don’t mind MSNBC. They are not like CNN and act like they are unbiased journalists. They are left wing journalists and that’s it. So I don’t care that they want a recession to get Trump out of the White House.

It’s the other people I can’t stand that hide. AoC cost her district 20,000 jobs, something that would have helped their economy and creating jobs. Because she hates capitalism. Bernie Sanders said that the bread lines in Cuba was a good thing and show the compassion of socialists. That’s because he hates capitalism and thinks nothing about the quality of life of the “little people.” Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris want to take away the insurance of a 150 million people and replace it with a crappy public plan. Why? Because the don’t care about what you want and think they know what you need better than you do. They don’t tell you that. They come back with some nonsensical math that must have been calculated on a five thousand year old abacus that is missing several beads. They don’t care about what people want because it is about the collective not the individual. And they do not have enough respect for us to tell us the truth.

At least Bill Mahr was honest.

 

And Mao and Stalin and Hitler…Oh My!

The news media is so lost and confused. I almost feel bad for them. OK, no I don’t.

On CNN’s Reliable Resource, Brian Stelter brought on a psychologist said that there was no difference between Trump and Stalin, Hitler and Mao when it come to sanity. He also said that calling Trump crazy is an insult to crazy people who might be good people but crazy. Listen to this.

There are couple of things to unpack here. First off, this guy ain’t much of a psychologist or psychiatrist or whatever. He doesn’t give any diagnostic reason why Trump is nuts, he just says he is for political reason. But his political reasons are crap too. Last I checked, there are no gulags, people aren’t being arrested for going against the government (you better believe Mao would have locked him up for this), he’s lowered taxes, lowered regulations, created prison reform and has created a great economy. Mao, Hitler and Stalin didn’t exactly do any of that.

There’s also a little something he forgot. Hitler killed 12 million, Mao killed between 25 and 40 million and Stalin killed up to 70 million. Trump didn’t kill or jail anyone but he does say a lot of bad things. So what? What was embarrassing is not the hatred this “healer” showed but how Stelter didn’t push back at all or even question. So much journalisming at CNN. Stelter was asked to apologize but, of course, CNN said he didn’t have to. Any wonder why they are last in the ratings.

But there is a bigger reason to have this idiot on their show. The leftist media is fishing for a new narrative and they can’t come up with anything original. They started with racism, then went on to the 25th amendment and Trump being crazy. Then came Russia. Now that’s gone and they went back to racism. That doesn’t seem to be embraced. Now back to Trump being nuts and the 25th Amendment. Keep it up, guys!

But that wasn’t the funniest story of the day. The Huffington Post had an article that, for some reason, picked up a little steam. Citing anonymous sources (which really points to the story having a lot of validity), the Post reported that, to the shock of his cabinet, he asked why the United States wasn’t nuking hurricanes before they came to the shores of the United States, preventing them from causing damage.

This is such a stupid story that I won’t even comment. I’ll just let Trump’s Tweet about the story speak for itself:
