It Was All a Lie

The New York Times finally admitted what we already knew.

• In October 2020, the New York Post released an article stating that it had the hard drives from the Apple computers owned by Hunter Biden.
  • The computers were turned into a repair shop, fixed and were never picked up.
  • The store went through the laptops in order to clean them and resell them to get their money back from the unpaid services.
  • The employees found very disturbing content including:
    • Pornography with involving Hunter Biden.
    • Drug use involving Hunter Biden.
    • Child Pornography.
    • E-mails dealing with business dealings with Ukraine and China.
    • Text messages between Hunter Biden and other business associates.
  • What is most disturbing is there was reference to Joe Biden receiving money from Hunter’s business dealings.
• The FBI was contacted by the business and the hard drives were not immediately collected.
• Rudy Giuliani was contacted and he received copies of the hard drives.
• The New York Post was contacted and released a story about the Hunter Biden hard drives in October 2020, three weeks before the election.
• The news and social media got the memo:
  • All links to the news stories were censored by Big Tech. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snap Chat, YouTube all banned the posting of the story, even through DMs.
  • The media ignored the story.
  • The intelligence and justice departments said the story was “Russian disinformation”.
• It worked. The story was suppressed.
  • 12% of voters said they would not have voted for Bien if they knew about the story.
  • 50% of Democrats said they would not have voted for Biden if they knew about the story.
  • Everyone is wondering how Joe Biden owns 2 homes with 6000+ square footage on a politician and teacher’s salaries.
  • Everyone wonders how Joe Biden is worth $10 million as a career politician.

Does it sound like the 2020 election might have been manipulated?

The New York Times article, a rather long one and that was probably done on purpose, didn’t get to the laptop not being Russian disinformation until the 24th paragraph. And they still tried to make Hunter look like an intelligent man who just got into some tax issues that he took care of. The article was covering the investigation of Hunter Biden and his possible FARA violations over his Burisma holding Ukraine. Of course they never brought up Hunter’s Chinese issues and he has plenty of those.

But what is important about this story is the acknowledgement of the laptop that was covered up, rather sloppily, before the elections and I find this very disturbing.

This shows:

• Social media companies are colluding with each other. They are censoring information they do not like and could hurt candidates they do like. You never heard of them censoring the Steele Dossier for the four years during Trump’s Presidency and that was actual Russian disinformation.
• It shows the media bias. This was a story that should have been investigated, not ignored.
• It shows that all of the corruption involving the Biden family is true. There was a ton of information in there:
  • Pornography.
  • Child pornography.
  • Drug use.
  • Dealings with Ukraine.
  • Dealings with China including specific named government officials.
  • Arranged meeting with Joe Biden as Vice President.
  • Money from these deals being funneled to Joe Biden.
• But, worst of all, it shows the elections were actually stolen.

So, is anyone going to apologize about this? Nope. In fact, the media is doing what it does best. They are ignoring the story. If one only watches CNN or MSNBC they will have no idea what is going on.

The White House refuses to deal with this. Here’s Jenn Psaki being asked about the conflict of interest be Hunter taking $3.5 million from a Chinese oligarch:

This Probably Was A Close Second

Hudson Mayor Craig Shubert resigned Monday, less than a week after drawing international attention and ridicule to the upscale Summit County community. That sounds terrible. What did this poor bastard say?

Yeah. He didn’t think they should have ice fishing shanties on the lake because there could be an increase in prostitution. I’ve been ice fishing before and all got to do was drink. Maybe if I knew it could be more exciting I would have done it again.

Shubert, realizing the idiocy of his statement during the meeting, released another statement:

“My comment about ice fishing, the permitting of shanties on lakes, and prostitution stems from my experience as a former television news reporter covering law enforcement agencies, which have made arrests for acts of prostitution in ice fishing shanties. When discussing proposed legislation, it is wise to discuss the potential for unintended consequences. My statement was to enlighten council that the future permitting of ice shanties may lead to other issues.”

What he should said is if the council did not listen, it would lead to herpes. You know what would have been better? If he just said it was a stupid thing to say. Or, at least give us a little more racy information on what he does in ice shanties.

In his resignation letter he was kind of all over the place:

“My comments at Tuesday’s workshop were made out of concern for our community; what could become of unintended consequences of new legislation, based on my prior television news reporting experience. My attempt to inject a bit of dry humor to make a point about this, in the midst of a cold, snowy February, was grossly misunderstood.

OK, That’s a Weird Story

According to Fox News:

Migrants on Mexico’s southern border sewed their mouths shut on Tuesday in a gruesome bid to convince the Mexican government to let them in, so they can then travel north and try to get into the United States.

Reuters reports that about a dozen migrants, mainly from Central and South America, sewed their lips with needle and plastic thread, leaving a small space to drink liquids. They also used alcohol to wipe away the blood from the stitches.

The protest took place in Tapachula, a border city with Guatemala, where thousands of migrants are waiting for permission to enter the country and cross over to the United States, the outlet reported.

“We hope that the National Migration Institute can see that they are bleeding, that they are human beings,” Irineo Mujica, an activist at the demonstration, told Reuters. 

I do want to point out these people are also on a hunger strike.

Now, there are two ways I look at this. The funny way and the right way. Let’s do the funny way first.

I think Joe Biden should send a plane to southern Mexico and pick those twelve or so people up and bring them to the United States and make them citizens immediately. Why? Because if these sick bastards are willing to sew closed their orifices to get to the United States. I bet if they had to make a deal not to go on public assistance or take public healthcare to become citizens, they would. I can’t get Josie to take a test where they will ask her 5 questions to get her citizenship much less sew her mouth shut.

In all seriousness, do we really want these people in our country? These people are sick. This is not a normal thing to do. They think they are justified is crossing two countries illegally. This “act of protest” is sick. What will they do when they get to this country…illegally? This is why we should be able to do background checks on these people before they come into our country.

These Guys Need Jobs

What is a Super Bowl without someone bitching about the commercials. Now, unfortunately for terminable miserable, all of the commercials were woke. Heck, there was one commercial for an Apple phone that stated that cameras are racist because the pictures of black people comes out too dark. Of course, I’m so white as to glow. I always come out too white-washed.

But that’s how the commercials really went. I noticed the era of the funny Super Bowl commercials are over. Even Budweiser is not putting up commercials anymore except a couple of throwback commercials in black and white about the horse.

There was one commercial that set some folks off. It was one with no words but CGI animals getting the hold of Doritos Flamin’ Hot potato chips.

Here it is and it is a video commercial, no words so I’ll describe it on the podcast.

Most people liked the ad. But some were critical of the ad, arguing that despite the warning, it could inspire people to unintentionally give animals something that could cause them harm.

New York Times reporter Stuart Elliott tweeted:

Arizona-based sports reporter Kellan Olson tweeted:

“Please do not feed animals Doritos or put VR headsets on them.”

How About Just Dad?

Van Jones of CNN is a father again. Or, whatever he’s calling it. That’s why it’s in the dumbest things of the week.

He decided to talk about it with People magazine:

“After the COVID lockdown, I got clear that I wanted another kid. I discovered that my friend Noemi also wanted a baby. So we decided to join forces and become conscious co-parents. It’s a concept that I hope more people will explore and consider.”

“This month we welcomed to Earth a baby girl, whom we will raise as co-parenting partners. This is a special time for our families. I feel grateful, joyful and blessed. As we create a safe and loving environment for this blessed young soul, I respectfully ask for privacy. Thank you for all the love and support.”

This is an example of one of the tenants of communism, the destruction of the nuclear family and this is how Van Jones is adding to this. Mind you, Van Jones is trying to teach you how good not being a father is to his child. He also doesn’t have to put that stigma of being a male parent by using the terms “father” or “mother”. It also gives him a way to not take full responsibility for his child since parenting is a 50-50 prospect.

This is how the Left and communism destroys all that is good. I prescribe parenting and family is the most fulfilling experience in one’s life. I even tried to stay married to keep my family together even though I was married to an evil harlot. Being a parent, no being a father, takes 100%. And giving my 100% is only half of what a child needs. The mother needs to give 100% just to fulfill what is missing from my efforts. And those little accomplishments, like graduating from high school, fulfills the parents. Why do you think parents feel empty when their children leave the home to live their lives.

Great movie starring Steve Martin that shows this is Father of the Bride. To this day, I still cry when I see this movie.

A “Jerry Springer”-style brawl broke out at Disney World between a pair of drunken, naked sisters, culminating in the duo tussling in the bushes after one slipped on the other’s vomit, according to court papers.

The ill-fated evening started out with the sisters, who were tourists from New Jersey, grabbing dinner at Disney Springs at a steakhouse and then hitting an Irish pub for drinks, according to details recently revealed in Florida circuit court papers.

Here’s what happened:

• They went to dinner and got drunk.
• They tried to get an Uber but their cell phones dies.
• A security guard called an Uber.
• They were so drunk, the Uber driver refused to take them.
• The guard called a taxi.
• While waiting for the taxi, the pair began arguing.
• The older sister called the younger sister a “bad mom” and slapped her, according to court papers. In return, the younger sister allegedly threatened to punch her.
• Police from the Orlando County Sheriff’s Office arrived around 12:40 a.m. to find the younger sister screaming and crying near Cirque du Soleil, steps from the Watermelon and Mango parking lots. She was stripped down to only her underwear and sandals, court papers said.
• The two were reunited by security and started fighting again. When they were broken up again, one slipped on vomit and landed in the bushes.
• They were both arrested.

Disney said they didn’t have a video of the incident. I call BS on that one. Disney is like a Chinese concentration camp and has cameras everywhere. My bet is this video is going to be better than any of their last ten movies and they are trying to figure out a way to edit it.

Cynthia Perkins, 36, faces 41 years in prison after taking a plea deal on Monday in exchange for testifying against her now ex-husband, Dennis.

He was working as a Livingston Parish sheriff’s deputy at the time of his arrest.

The Louisiana woman initially protested her innocence to 72 charges for various sex crimes.

Yet this week pleaded guilty to producing child pornography, second-degree rape, and mingling harmful substances.

The charge about harmful substances allegedly refers to an incident in which she used Dennis’ sperm to “season” pastries for Westside Junior High Schools kids.

“These three we thought was representative of what she had done and by agreeing to the facts as we put them out on the record she prepared herself to testify against Dennis Perkins,” Assistant Louisiana Attorney General Barry Milligan said on Monday.

Cynthia and Dennis were arrested in October 2019 and faced 150 felony charges including rape, child pornography, sexual battery of a child, and video voyeurism.

Just to give you an idea of how hick this paper is, they spelled Louisiana wrong.

But back to the issue at hand, who thinks it’s a turn on to jizz in in cupcake batter and feed it to kids you don’t know? What’s wrong with these people?

According to the New York Post:

A former Georgia official faked being pregnant so she could take paid maternity leave — but her scheme came apart when a co-worker noticed her baby bump was bogus, officials said.

Robin Folsom, 43, also allegedly made up a fake baby daddy to send an email to her bosses that said she was under doctor’s orders for several weeks of bed rest after giving birth in May 2021, the Georgia Office of the Inspector General announced this week.

The birth-that-wasn’t came two months after a co-worker at the state’s Vocational Rehabilitation Agency allegedly saw part of Folsom’s fake pregnancy stomach “come away” from her body, according to a news release from the IG’s office.

Folsom, director of external affairs for the agency, sent her co-workers photos of her supposed newborn, but they “depicted children with varying skin tones,” the release stated.

Let’s get this straight:

• This gal made up that she was pregnant because he wanted to take parental leave.
• She faked a baby bump.
• She faked a father (who turned out to be a fictional African).
• She faked a second pregnancy.
• She faked a birth.
• People got suspicious when her baby bump would disappear or move and the pictures of her kids weren’t the right skin tone.

Needless to say, she lost her job and she’s looking at a bunch of years in prison for lying and fraud. The question is begged, what made her think she was going to get away with this? And what exactly took the government so long to figure this out? She faked two pregnancies.

Joe Biden went to New York last week to talk about crime. It turned out Old Joe didn’t want to talk about crime but about guns. He wanted to talk about how guns were committing most of the crimes in the world and getting rid of guns would solve the world’s problems. Of course, he didn’t worry about crimes that did not involve guns (which is actually most crimes). You burglary, theft, child abuse, drug use and dealing, car theft and rape. All crimes revolve around guns.

And it’s not people that commit crime. It is only guns. The gun wakes up in the morning, has a cup of coffee, watches the morning news. Then the gun decides to go out and kills someone. Usually the gun decides to kill a black person. Even though most guns are black or blue steel, the are white supremacists.

Damn racist guns. They are also homophobic, transphobic and bigots.

That’s the line of thinking Joe Biden and the Left have. Or maybe their line of thinking is their religious ideology must be imposed on all people, even if they don’t believe in this sick ideology. And people should not have the ability to rebel against this ideology. People with guns can create a formidable resistance against the Left.

Here’s the problem for Joe Biden and the Left. The Constitution. They believe they’re above it. They believe the Constitution is just an old piece of paper that can be changed with some white out and a sharpie.

First off, Joe can’t seem to get through a sentence without fumbling through his words. He’s reading this statement and still stutters his way through the statement.

The cities that he speaks about have always had crime and everything has gotten worse since the defund the police movement. Gun crime did not go up because there are more guns. It has gone up because there are less police and prosecutors refuse to prosecute criminals. There have always been a lot of guns.

As far as rogue gun dealers, I’m for getting rid of them. But Joe’s Gun Shop down the street doesn’t sell guns illegally. Big 5 doesn’t sell guns illegally. Turner’s Sporting Goods doesn’t sell guns illegally. I know tis for a fact. It is street punks who are already committing the crimes that sell gun illegally and they, when caught, they are not being prosecuted because they are victims of a systemically racist system.

The last part of this statement is the big one. “No Amendment is absolute.” That statement is wrong.

The Constitution is absolute. It is the law of the land. How do we know this? It’s in the Constitution. If you want to change the Constitution, it’s in the Fifth Amendment. And, guess what, it is not the President or Supreme Court that changes the Constitution. In fact, they have no say in the process. It’s up to the Senate, the House and the States.

The last statement Biden made was the most egregious. Even the Washington Post said it was not true. That’s when he said it wasn’t legal to own a canon. There were no limits to the weapons a person could own. There were no limits tot he number of weapons a person could own. In fact, in the 18th and 19th centuries, there was fear of foreign powers and it was required to own a gun.

The Second Amendment is really straight forward:

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

There are no limitations here. It doesn’t say the right the bear Arms shall not be infringed except for…”

Here’s the kicker. When I was a kid (and that was a long time ago), a person could own a Howitzer canon. He could own a fully automatic AK-47. He could own a fully automatic Chinese SKS assault rifle. He could own an automatic Uzi. He could own a SPAS Street Sweeper automatic shotgun. You could buy them at any Big 5.

The government slowly took away guns. They started with automatic rifles. Then military guns. Then attachments. The certain types of ammo. Now they are going after ghost guns and magazines sizes. The evolution has been so slow that no one noticed what was available to us at one point.

Yet the Second Amendment says we can own whatever we need with no fixed quantity. That was some on purpose. The reason: it is “necessary for a free state”. The words from the Second Amendment.

We’ve seen how taking away gun rights has gone in other countries. We saw it in China, the Soviet Union and Germany in the 20th century. We see how it went in Venezuela in in the 21st century. We are watching what happens to freedoms right now in Canada and Australia.

This is what the Left wants. They want to take away our rights to fight fr our country.

The Olympics

Speaking of China, the Winter of Olympics are happening and no one cares. The Olympics have had their ratings fall consistently for the last 20 years. This Olympics is taking it completely in the teeth. NBC’s viewership is down 69% from the Summer Olympics of last year and are at the lowest in Olympic history.

That’s just awesome. I know I’m not watching this propaganda event.

Some of the media is also questioning why the Olympics are being held there at all. The New York Times, which has been pretty critical of China. They complained that Beijing doesn’t have any actual snow. It’s kind of like Los Angeles in the winter. All the competitions in the Winter Olympics are being held on man-made snow. Of course, The New York Times bitched that man-made snow was bad for climate change. The question I would have asked is why the International Olympic Committee (IOC) would hold the Winter Olympics in a place that doesn’t have any snow.

Pictures are also coming out of China. There is one picture that shows what looks like the ski jump venue. The venue is nice but the surrounding area is a hellscape. Grey buildings, a nuclear power plant and a dirty city in the background.

I am sure we are going to have a lot of stories about China when the athletes return to their countries (though we are getting a lot of information now).

But it is also the tyranny.

On live television, a reporter from, I think, the Netherlands was roughly removed from in front of the televisions camera because he was standing in front of the wrong building. He was asked politely or anything. A police officer grabbed him and shoved him off camera.

Even the propaganda they are pushing is not being embraced. When the Chinese had a Uyghur light the Olympic Caldron, the mainstream media, including CNN, was doubtful that this was anything more than propaganda.

Why Didn’t She Say This Before

Nancy Pelosi made the following controversial comments last week:

Some things:

• Why didn’t she say this before? Why didn’t anyone say this before?
• Why are our athletes over there?
• Why is a United States politician, the third most powerful person in the government and in line to be President, showing her fear of the Chinese government?
• And what would our government do if China did take action against a U.S. athlete who said something China didn’t like?

This is the type of weakness that the Biden administration and the Democrats have shown for China for decades. She is basically saying that our athletes are in danger because of the Chinese government and there is nothing the United States government can do about it.

Well, the horrors of the Chinese government are coming out and it has only been a couple of days since the opening ceremonies.

Russian biathlete, Valeria Vasnetsova, was put into isolation because of COVID. She complained about the food being awful and there being no way she could train. She also released a picture of her meals that she received three times a day,

The meals were made up of a raw chicken breast, plain noodles, some red sauce of some kind, four or five small potatoes and charred meat of some kind.

She had lost a lot of weight and, of course, she lost her ability to compete.

She said:

“[M]y bones are already sticking out,” the Olympian said. Vasnetsova said she had survived on the small pasta serving for several days because it was “impossible” to eat the rest of the food, “but today I ate all the fat they serve instead of meat because I was very hungry.”

Eventually, the Russian government complained enough that the Chinese started to give her real food while she was confined.

Another athlete, Belgium Kim Meylemans, also has a nightmare story. She was confined for 14 days because of the China virus, all alone. When she was released, she was put in a van. She thought she was going back to the Olympic village. Nope. She was being transferred to another containment facility.

Here she is, in tears on Instagram, distraught that she was being put away again for an additional 7 days:

So, why is China doing this? Remember, they are saying that they only had 5,500 deaths due to their virus. They shouldn’t have any issues with the virus since the handled it so beautifully.

There are three reasons:

• They lied. The virus is still an issue and they did not have 5,500 deaths. They probably had hundreds of thousands of deaths. We already have pictures of the urns of the dead from the China virus and it’s more than 5,500.
• They want to manipulate the games. All their COVID requirements were to mess with the athletes’ training regimen. They want the most medals and they will do anything to achieve that goal.
• Finally, the China virus is just the excuse they are using for pushing their tyranny.

The Media Pushes the Propaganda

The media shows us that they have a very unhealthy respect and love for China. Now, to be clear, most of the mainstream media thinks this Olympics is just a Chinese propaganda scheme. China has been criticized by Leftist news organizations like CNN, The Washington Post and The New York Times. So China is not completely getting a free pass.

But here is NBC, who is televising the games, during the opening ceremonies:

They have concentration camps where they are systematically committing geocide. They imprison people for saying things they don’t like. They disappear people. They had a one-child policy that forced abortions and sterilization.

And let’s not over appreciate what China is doing in other countries. They are doing this for a reason. They will help no country without getting something in return. Either money, land, resources or influence. They are an example of the colonial empire that Leftists accuse the United States of doing.

I can kind of understand why NBC is doing this. They paid a ton of money into getting the rights to the Olympics and they want to shine a light on China to try to take the stain away from the games. But ESPN, a sports network owned by ABC doesn’t have that kind of excuse (well, ABC is owned by Disney). ESPN is suppose to be only about sports though that has eroded over the years. According to Fox News:

Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer is retiring, Fox News confirmed, setting President Biden up with the first opportunity to fill a vacancy on the high court. 

A source close to Breyer told Fox News that the justice will step down at the end of the current Supreme Court term early this summer.

The is not a shock that Breyer is retiring:

• He’s 83 years old.
• The Left has been calling for him to resign all year.

This will give Joe Biden a chance to get a Supreme Court Justice. The good news is that this is not going to change the makeup of the court since Breyer, who was picked by Bill Clinton, has been a very liberal judge. In the past, Joe Biden said, if he had to pick, would select a black woman. That’s a great idea because we saw how great a pick of a black woman for Vice President.

This raises a couple of questions:

• Was Breyer forced out? Even at 83, he’s sharp and very outgoing.
• Who would he pick? Is Kamala Harris on the list?
• We know that this candidate is going to be a Leftist and extreme. But, during an election year, how hard should the Republicans fight? Could we see a Merrick Garland/Amy Coney Barret fight, somehow?
• How moderate is Joe Biden going to be? I think this is a stupid question because I don’t think Biden is going to pick a moderate at all.

We’ll have to see. If he doesn’t retire until summer, that going to be close to the elections. This stuff could get really interesting.

This Ukraine Thing

I told you I would talk a little about Ukraine because, in reality, we could be looking at a World War III scenario, especially since Russia is joining Iran and China in military drills and this can be a real crystal ball moment on what is going to happen with China’s conflict with Taiwan.

What’s Happening

Here’s what’s happening between Russia and Ukraine:

• Russia currently has about 100,000 troops on the Ukraine border, according to Ukrainian and Western officials. U.S. intelligence agencies have assessed that the Kremlin has drawn up plans for a military operation involving up to 175,000 troops that could begin in the coming weeks.
•  In addition, Ukrainian fighters opposed to Kyiv’s rule, amount to about 30,000, according to an assessment by the Ukrainian military.
• Russia has moved an additional five battalion tactical groups into the border area near Luhansk and Donetsk, including about 5,000 soldiers sent to reinforce the 12,000 or so stationed there permanently, according to Ukrainian authorities.
• Joe Biden, who’s weakness has created this mess, has put 8500 troops on standby. These troops will be deployed in surrounding countries, not directly in Ukraine.
• The United States has been sending lethal aid to Ukraine but will not send troops.
• NATO is getting into the party:
  • Denmark is sending a frigate and deploying F-16 warplanes to Lithuania.
  • Spain is sending four fighter jets to Bulgaria and three ships to the Black Sea to join NATO naval forces
  • France stands ready to send troops to Romania
  • The Netherlands also plans to send two F-35 fighter aircraft to Bulgaria
  • Notice, no NATO forces are going to Ukraine. We will talk about that later.
• NATO took control of a U.S. aircraft carrier this week as part of a preplanned military exercise that could not have come at a better time as it projects strength in the region as Russia appears ready to invade Ukraine.
• The U.K. may send combat troops to support Ukrainian allies under threat of Russian invasion, Prime Minister Boris Johnson told the British government on Tuesday. But no decisions have been made.

That’s how world wars start.

Before we all start panicking, relax. I don’t think this is going to escalate to that, it just could. I’ll get into that later.

Here We Go Again

In a show of strength and in an effort to build up the confidence of the Ukrainian people and government, Joe Biden has decided to evacuate Ukraine.

• The State Department has ordered that all Americans to make plans to leave Ukraine.
• The embassy will remain open to process paperwork but will eventually evacuate if tensions rise.

Does this sound familiar? Could we see another Afghanistan?

When asked, Jen Psaki’s answer was less than satisfactory:

What I Think

How did this whole thing happen? How did Russia get so emboldened to threaten another country? Why didn’t Russia do it four years ago?

• Biden became President and showed his weakness.
  • The Afghanistan pullout was a disaster.
  • He has been blowing Iran for the last year to get them back into that crappy nuclear deal.
  • We emboldened Russia by allowing them to build the Nord Stream Pipeline.
  • Biden is ignoring China’s threats to Taiwan.
  • When Biden was Vice President, the Obama administration showed no support to Ukraine, sending them only blankets when Russia invaded Crimea.
• But it wasn’t just Biden. The United States has shown weakness in other events. We did nothing when China took over Hong Kong. The conflict was occurring under both Obama and Trump.
• There were no preemptive measures is place.

The big reason Russia wants control here is because they want to create those satellite countries they had when they were the Soviet Union. They have a fear of being invaded. Let’s not forget a couple of things:

• Russia has a history of being at war in their land. We forget this because we have never had to fight a war against a foreign power on our homeland. Alexander Sholsitskin made this very clear in The Gulag Archipelago. Sholsitskin believed half the reason there was a gulag system in the Soviet Union was fear of another war, civil or foreign, being fought in their homeland. This was also a theme in books by Tolstoy and Dostoyevsky.
• Putin was the head of the KGB during the Soviet era. He may embrace a lot of the Soviet philosophies.

Listen, I think the screaming about the World War III is hyperbole. It could happen. Th World Wars have been started for relatively small reason. But World War II was started much in the same way, an invasion. But it would not be in the best interest of Russia to invade directly:

• Their economy is weak:
  • Their inflation rate is at 8%. Ours is high at 7%.
  • Their GDP is 7 times less than the United States and 6 times less than China.
  • Their main export is oil (about 65%) and oil is too low in price to really bring them a lot of money.
  • Their economy is that of Italy.
• Though they would win a war, it will be extremely bloody and expensive. The Ukrainians aren’t just going to rollover.
  • The Ukrainians know how to fight. They’ve also had to fight within their own country.
  • The Ukrainians have heavy weapons from the United States and other countries.
  • And let’s remember, the last war the Russians fought was in Afghanistan and they got their asses kicked.

The goal of the Russians is to scare the crap out of the Ukrainians enough that they install a Russia-friendly government. This seems to be what most believe. This is what China did with Hong Kong and what they are trying to do with Taiwan.

I think, if anything, this will be a minor incursion. Just enough to scare the people to putting in a government that the Russians want.

The Irony

I do find some irony here. There seems to be kind of a push to protect Ukraine, even to the point of sending American troops to this corrupt country. By the way, there’s a reason why Ukraine is not in NATO and has no chance of getting into NATO and that’s because it was considered one of the most corrupt countries on the planet.

But the Biden administration has a reason to protect Ukraine. Here is Jonathan Finer, Biden’s White House Deputy National Security Advisor telling us why we should protect Ukraine:

Just an FYI: There were 179,000 arrests of illegal aliens at the southern border in December 2021. Let me give you some context as to how high that number is. If you combined the number of arrests at the southern border for December of 2020, 2019 and 2018, you still would not have 179,000 arrests.

And Fox News news has determined that these people are being, secretly, released into the country. Specifically, red states like Georgia, Texas and Florida. Gee, I wonder why?

I don’t want to hear from this administration about the sanctity of anyone else’s border when this President is pissing on our border. No one American troop should get involved and killed over Ukraine. This mess should have been prevented and the lack of foresight is the reason there is this mess.

Here’s the problem I have. This is a very unpopular and incompetent president. I can see him sending troops to Ukraine because he’s stupid. Never underestimate the ability for Joe Biden to f- something up. It’s not actually me that is saying that. It is President Barrack Obama who said that.

And, in another act of senile-laced reasoning, he may send troops to Ukraine because he thinks it will improve his poll numbers. Let’s not forget that Joe Biden does not care about the troops or the citizens of the United States. He’s a globalist. He only cares about his popularity and his power. He has proven this throughout his political career.

California is looking into ways to implement universal healthcare throughout the state. That would give free healthcare to everyone in the state including illegal aliens. But the government has a problem. A big problem. The same problem other states like Vermont have had when implementing this type of failed program. How are they going to pay for it?

According to an analysis from the Tax Foundation, Assembly Constitutional Amendment 11 (ACA 11) — which requires two-thirds of both houses of the state legislature for approval — would introduce “surtaxes atop the current individual income tax structure beginning at $149,509 in income,” a “graduated-rate payroll tax system with the top rate kicking in for employees with more than $49,990 in annual income” and a “gross receipts tax of 2.3 percent, excluding the first $2 million of business income.” ACA 11 would go to the voters for final approval if passed by two-thirds of the Legislature.

That’s right. They want tax us, then tax our income again and, if you work, tax you a third time. By the way, ignore the, “you won’t get taxed unless you make $149,000” garbage. These taxes are going to hit everyone and they are going to hit everyone hard. These taxes are going to cost jobs, close business and have people and businesses leave California.

Each household is looking to have their taxes doubled to $12,250. That moves the average tax rate to 18.05%. The average tax rate in California is 10%. For people making over $100K is 17%. By the way, the national average is 5.3%.

Amazing.

California has already lost a seat in the House of Representatives because people are moving out of this hellscape. Facebook and Tesla have already moved to Texas because of this hellscape.

First Pelosi, Now Schumer

According to Fox News:

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer Tuesday issued a stern warning to Republicans and Democrat defenders of the filibuster ahead of upcoming votes on Democrats’ election bills: “We are going to vote. We are all going to go on the record.”

Schumer, D-N.Y., made the comments immediately after opening floor debate on a piece of legislation the House passed last week combining two major Democrat-backed elections bills. He promised that the Senate will not only vote on the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act and the Freedom to Vote Act, but also on whether to defang the Senate’s 60-vote filibuster if Republicans block them, as they are expected to.

Schumer said:

“As we debate these measures, the Senate will confront the critical question: Shall the members of this chamber do what is necessary to pass these bills and bring them closer to the president’s desk? Today we have just taken the first steps that will put everyone, everyone on the record.”

So what he’s decided to do is go ahead with a vote to end the filibuster when he knows it will not pass just to get the Democrats who will go against it will have to go on record. Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin have already said they will not vote to end the filibuster. Joe Manchin wrote an article about it. Kyrsten Sinema has said it on the Senate floor. They’re already on record as a no.

Chuckie said he was going to have this vote on January 17th. That was two days ago. Nothing has changed. He doesn’t have the votes. Sleepy, Creepy Joe went to Congress and he was told to kick rocks. This vote is a waste of time.

Or is it?

This is going to have the wrong effect. It ain’t going to go the way Chuckie thinks it’s going to. Most people do not support ending the filibuster. When certain purple or purplish states see who said yay to eliminating the filibuster, I think those Senators will be under attack by voters in November, not these that said nay. Either Chuckie isn’t that smart and really thinks this will threaten Manchin and Sinema or he’s just giving up and throwing a hail Mary.

Or, it’s a bluff and there will be no vote.

Nancy Pelosi really screwed Chuckie when she sent the Build Back Better bill to the Senate knowing that it could not pass. Chuckie looks like he’s the one that is ball-less. Which he is. I think he’s doing this to shake things up.

I also think it’s a bluff. I bet, by the time I do this podcast, there will be no vote. If there is, it’s because Chuckie really is just stupid.

This Is Coming Here

This is great. It tells me, if we wanted, we could invade Canada with a Sesna and four harpoons and control all their oil.

According to the Daily Wire:

A new Canadian law called C-4 outlaws so-called “conversion therapy,” which is defined in the law as any counseling or advising against transgender or nonbinary identity or non-heterosexual sexuality — even if the young person or adult requests it.

“The new Canadian law, C-4, bans any counseling that advocates for the Christian standard that sex is reserved for one man and one woman within marriage,” The Daily Wire’s Morning Wire reported this weekend. “It also potentially criminalizes any instruction confirming that human beings are created as wholly male or female from birth.”

So, in other words, if your little boy says he’s a girl or gay, one can’t treat him psychologically. We’re not talking about waterboarding gay kids. I mean a psychologist can’t tell the kid he’s probably not a girl and he should wait before making any serious decisions about altering his physiology.

Abagail Shrier wrote a book called Irreversible Damage. It is about the societal impact of social media, media and education on the trend of girls becoming transsexual. Another impact she talks about is the psychological treatments out there. Many children go through something called gender confusion. It has been defined in the DSM-5 and is pretty common. Most kids, in ther past anayway, grew out of this. That’s because psychiatrists took on the standard recommendation of wait-and-see.

But, in the last five years, a new psychological approach has replaced the wait-and-see approach. That is called affirmation therapy. That therpy involves the psychiatrist confirming the child’s belief and pushing the child toward her feelings of homosexuality and transsexuality. This includes hiding information from parents, applying hormone therapy and, in the worst cases, body modification (mutilation).

Canada outlawed the wait-and-see therapy.

By the way, wait-and-see therapy found that most kids that thought they were transexual ended up gay. That was OK. But they avoided the hormone therapy and body modification.

But it gets worse. What does Canada define as “conversion therapy”? Here it is from the law:

• Parents can be convicted. Just telling their child they are going through a phase could be considered a “conversion”.
• It takes away the parent’s right to raise their child and do what best for them.
• Parents can’t go to psychologists because the psychologist is under the provision and won’t risk jail to do the right thing.
• Parents are not allowed to go to another country for psychological help.
• The religious could be convicted just for telling the story of Sodom and Ghammorrah or reading a number of Biblical passages to their congregation.
• It assumes that children are mature enough to life-changing procedures.
• Affirmation therapy is not done anywhere else in the psychological and medical profession. If I’m bipolar, the doctor doesn’t say it’s normal to be bipolar and send me on my way. If a black child says she doesn’t want to be black but be white, a psychologist doesn’t affirm that and start skin bleaching the child.
• This law goes one way. If a kid says he thinks he’s gay and I say no. That’s conversion and I can go to jail. But if a kid says he might be straight and tell him he’s actually gay, that’s legal.

The reason I bring this up is because Canada is usually one step ahead of the United States when it comes to policy. It won’t be long like laws like this are implemented in California and New York. Mind you, they are unconstitutional but that does not mean people won’t try.

This Is Why I Don’t Watch the NBA

On Monday night, billionaire tech entrepreneur and part-owner of the NBA’s Golden State Warriors, Chamath Palihapitiya made some comments on a podcast about what he thinks about China and Uyghurs being kept in concentration camps. It is an amazing comment:

Understand something, the NBA is a Leftist organization. That’s why I don’t watch it and that’s why a lot of the country stopped watching it. This was a league that tore apart an NBA vice president for supporting Hong Kong but had no issue releasing hateful statements about Donald Trump and how racist the police in America are. The NBA is making its money from China and they need to keep China happy to keep making money.

As far as this country having its own problems, you know what problem we aren’t having? Forcibly sterilizing, jailing and killing a group of people because of their religion. Funny thing is the NBA says that the United States is bad because we are a “systemically racist” country yet the NBA ignores the real systemic racism. Hey, you can’t get more systemically racist than throwing people into a concentration camp because of their religion.

And what are we needing to fix besides systemic racism?

• He cares about the grocery stores being empty. He doesn’t care about that. He worth a few billion dollars. Do you think he’s worried about where he’s going to get food?
• He cares about our economy suffering if China invades Taiwan. Question, why? Might it be he has business interests in Taiwan and those may suffer if China invades?
•  He cares about America’s healthcare infrastructure. Question, why? He’s worth a few billion dollars. Is he using government healthcare?
• By the way, our healthcare in this country is the best in the world. The real problem with our healthcare is that the government has too much of a hand in it.
• Of course, he cares about climate change. Something no one else really cares about. Question: why support China since they are the world’s leader carbon emissions? Wouldn’t it show you cared about climate change by boycotting China.

This guy doesn’t care about any of that. He cares about money. He cares about making more of it. That’s all he cares about. Now I do think this guy is a sociopath and a narcissist. But I think he is being truthful unlike many of the CEOs in the country that are also dealing with China. They don’t care about what China does just as long as they get their money.

This is the problem with this country. Greed has replaced empathy. Greed has replaced morality. Seeing how these (Amazon, Apple, Nike, NBA) continue to make money, they continue not to care.

I would have asked him a follow up question. We had a lot of problems during World War II. Should we have ended the Holocaust and fought Hitler or should we have left that to the Europeans and just kicked Japan’s ass?

Needless to say, these comments were not embraced. He later released a statement on Twitter:

That is not much of a statement. Actually, it’s infuriating. It shows his narcissism. No one cares that he’s a refugee. Then he lumps the United States with China. Wait a minute, didn’t he make his billions in the United States? Would he have done that in China or would he ended up in a concentration camp in China because he’s a Hindu? Which seems most likely?

This man is an example of what’s wrong with this country and corporate America.

More Victims of the China Virus

According to the Wall Street Journal:

Authorities ordered some 2,000 hamsters in Hong Kong to be killed over concerns that the animals may have transmitted Covid-19 to humans, one of the city’s latest measures to try to stamp out a fresh outbreak.

Under the latest order, authorities will cull the animals at almost three dozen pet shops across the city, including a store selling small animals linked to two recent Covid-19 infections in the city. One of the two infections was an employee at the pet store, while another was a recent visitor to the store, authorities said.

Nancy Pelosi redid her eyebrows and looks terrible and she is looking to retire next year when she loses her leadership post. Joe Biden is in such bad shape Congress won’t let him pass gas, much less, a $5 trillion bill, a voting rights bill or have a vote on eliminating the filibuster.

Oh, and he has issues getting through a sentence without falling asleep. His presidency is done.

Democrats are already looking for who they will run in 2024. Biden hasn’t even been in office for a year and we are talking 2024. Problem Democrats have is their bench is kind of short.

• Joe Biden has a 33% approval rating and doesn’t seem to know where he is. He won’t run again. In fact, I’m shocked he made it this far.
• Kamala Harris’ approval rating is lower than Joe Biden’s rating.
• Pete Buttigieg seems to be the most popular candidate right now but he has done nothing during his political career. In fact, he is so irrelevant that he took three months off for paternity leave as transportation secretary during a supply chain crisis and no one knew he was gone.
• There are talks about Micelle Obama running. She’s popular and speaks well, like her husband. She’s a woman and black. That seems to be a qualification. But she’s never shown interest in politics. During her reign as first lady, she read Dr. Seuss to kids and crap but she had nothing to do with policy. She not like Hilary Clinton who…

More bad news for the Biden administration and even the media can’t hide it.

The Supreme Court is in a big hurry today.

And the Biden administration may be finally conceding to what we have been saying for the last year and a half.

Dismal…Again!

More bad news for Joe Biden. The jobs numbers came out for December 2021 and they were a huge disappointment. It was reported that 199,000 jobs were created. Economists expected 420,000 jobs were expected to be created. The unemployment rate dropped to 3.9%.

This is panic time for the administration because those numbers are really telling:

• This was before the omicron variant became an issue in the United States. Economists think January is going to be worse because it will reflect the omicron outbreak.
• The report does point out that people who have permanently left the workforce or who have been without work for more than 26 week has gone up. This will also artificially lower the unemployment rate.
• November and December are times employment should have gone up because of all the temporary hiring that was done for the holiday shopping season. This will also affect the January jobs report as these temporary workers are laid off.
• We still have rising interest rates in March to look forward to. That’s going to cause more job loss.

This is a very bad jobs report. Very bad. Even CNN, CNBC, the New York Times and the Washington Post are saying this is bad.

But President Biden continues to push the “everything is awesome” narrative that even his allies are hard-pressed to buy. Listen:

I love his positive thinking but…no. This was a horrid report. There’s no way to spin this.

Yes, 6.4 million jobs were filled. I hate that Biden says he created jobs. He has never created a job in his worthless life, businesses create jobs. But we were in an artificial recession because of the China virus and no one worked in 2020. There should be 15 to 20 million jobs filled. There are close to 11 million jobs open. We are suffering from a supply crisis because no one wants to work. People aren’t going to back work.

And stop with the unemployment rate. That is a bad indicator of employment because there are too many variables that determine that.

Big Day and They Know It

Speaking of regulations, the Biden vax mandate is in front of the Supreme Court, as I speak. I’m listening to it and it sounds promising. We’ll go over it Monday because the Supreme Court said they wanted a decision by later today or tomorrow.

So far, it sounds like this is going to be a 5-4 ruling. Mind you, they’re still arguing. I haven’t heard John Roberts or Stephen Breyer’s questions but I did hear Neil M. Gorsuch’s questions and he is definitely against them. It could go 6-3 and possibly, 7-2.

It’s About Time

The title of this section should be “better late than never.” Actually, that’ll be the title of the podcast.

A report was released to the Biden administration stating that Biden needs to change his domestic policy on the China virus. In a nutshell, the report is saying what everyone has been saying for the last year and a half.

The New York Times reported:

“The authors are all big names in American medicine; several, including Dr. Luciana Borio, a former acting chief scientist at the Food and Drug Administration, and Dr. David Michaels, a former head of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, have held high-ranking government positions. The driving force behind the articles is Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, an oncologist, medical ethicist and University of Pennsylvania professor who advised former President Barack Obama. They say the first thing the administration needs to do is take a broader vision, by recognizing that Covid-19 is here to stay. In one article, Dr. Emanuel and two co-authors — Michael T. Osterholm, an epidemiologist at the University of Minnesota, and Dr. Celine Gounder, an infectious disease expert at New York University — pointedly note that in July, Mr. Biden proclaimed that ‘we’ve gained the upper hand against this virus,’ which in retrospect was clearly not the case.”

Notice that the people who wanted the most mandates are now changing their position? The New York Times is a far Leftist publication and has been touting mandates since the beginning. I guess the “reporters” discovered how awesome Florida is and want the same thing in New York.

By the way, to the New York Times…duh! This virus is never going away. We’re going to have to deal with it. This is a tough position to take considering Biden said he was going to get rid of the virus.

The report stated:

“To be better prepared for inevitable outbreaks, they suggest that the administration lay out goals and specific benchmarks, including what number of hospitalizations and deaths from respiratory viruses, including the coronavirus, that should trigger emergency measures. The authors say the administration needs to acknowledge that Omicron may not mark the end of the pandemic — and to plan for a future that they concede is unknowable. They also make clear that the current rate of Covid hospitalizations and deaths is unacceptably high.”

In other words, let’s not worry about the number of infections. Let’s worry about hospitalizations and deaths. Again…duh.

Omicron is not leading to a large number of deaths or hospitalizations. Joe Biden is now beginning to admit this. He’s acknowledged that there is no federal solution and admitted today that we may have to live with this thing.

The pandemic is over. Time to stop all these vax and mask mandates.

The House of Representatives is having hearings on it.

Merrick Garland is still looking to throw President Trump in prison because of it.

What am I talking about? Happy Insurrection Day! That’s right, it is the one year anniversary of the riot at the capitol. Will all the great things happening in 2012, it’s hard to believe that it has already been a year.

So let’s go over this. I watched it live on television. I saw Trump’s speech prior to the riot. I’ve been following it and the reports for the last year. The reports that no really talks about.

January 6th was a terrible day. I thought that while watching it on television. I thought that the media was going to run wild with the thought that Conservatives were acting badly. Yeah, those Conservatives were wearing face paint and Viking horns. Yeah, those Conservatives were taking selfies in the offices of our elected leaders. Yeah, the stole Nancy Pelosi’s lectern and walked out of the building with it.

Why am I bringing this up? These weren’t serious people. They were a bunch of white trash hicks that hardly represent the Conservative movement. This was a riot, not an insurrection. We know this because the big players in this were convicted of trespassing, mayhem and destruction of property. Not convicted of of insurrection or treason. In fact, none were convicted of a violent crime against a person.

But there was violence. There was $1.5 million in damage to the Capitol Building. One rioter was dead. Five police officers were dead. There were injuries. Bombs were planted at the Democratic and Republican headquarters. Here’s the thing, there were a lot of questions about what happened and how it happened.

Now we know the only person who was killed was a rioter, Ashlii Babbitt, who was shot by a Capitol police officer who once lost his gun while taking a leak in a restroom. We know now that no Capitol police officer died due to violence from the rioters. All five died of natural causes or suicide. But the media lied about it. They said one officer died because he got hit in the head with a fire extinguisher. We now know that wasn’t true. He died of a stroke. A natural stroke, not because he got hit in the head. Mind you, this does not diminish the violence that did happen. There were 140 police officer injured.

But the narrative was set. This was a deadly insurrection. But there is a problem with that narrative: The only person who was killed was a Trump supporter.

Let me repeat:

The only person who was killed was a Trump supporter.

In the last year, we have had a couple of reports released. The Capitol police and one by homeland Security (supported by the Senate). Both those have been ignored by the media. Both have said that the issue involved the lack of police presence which is the responsibility of the Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi. It was also found that the mayor of Washington DC, Muriel Bowser, was offered extra support for that day in the form of National Guard, but she refused.

Hmm.

Here’s the thing and I have no more to say about this, Democrats are in huge trouble this year. They are going to lose the House and the Senate. They are probably going to lose the presidency in 2024 because of their crappy policies. They need something to strike the emotional funny bone of the people and that is Trump, who didn’t help this riot.

The Celebrations

So I waited to do this episode until I got to hear what Harris and Biden had to say. Of course, most of it used exaggeration or lies.

The Pearl Harbor attack killed 2400 men. The 9/11 terrorist attack killed 3000 people. January 6th, one was killed. This attack doesn’t even rank in the top 20 of worst things that happened in the United States. Heck the Capitol Building was bombed once. The White House was actually burned down once.

This is just a disgusting comparison. People actually lost loved ones in those tragedies. What a way to minimize those deaths.

But she continues:

• Democracy was never under attack.
• The election was not going to be overturned.
• She makes politicians heroes here. Politicians aren’t heroes. They did their job just three hours later.

Then there’s Joe Biden. He did the same thing but, of course, he had to go after Trump:

• Didn’t the Obama administration spy on the Trump campaign?
• Didn’t Hilary Clinton fund the Steele Dossier which led to four years of accusing Trump of being a Russian stooge?
• He spent one minute and fourteen seconds trying to convince the country that we won legitimately. If the elections were completely fair and legitimate, why does he continue to defend himself and the election?
• And this is the purpose of January 6th day. To bring Trump into the picture. Here’s the thing: Trump hasn’t been in office for a year. The only way Biden can look good during his presidency is to say how bad Trump is.

• Stacey Abrams and Hilary Clinton bashed the system as racist and sexist when they lost.
• The BLM and Antifa riots violated the law and were supported by Democrats including Kamala Harris bailing out rioters.
• Joe Biden and his administration lie on a daily basis.
• Before he can say words like this, Old Joe should look in the mirror.

This statement should be chilling:

What is he talking about? Is he talking about going after people who weren’t even there? This was not a planned event. The reports have said that. It was not really organized well. No one had any weapons. Could he be talking about going after people hold the same values as the rioters? That’s the big question.

The justice department has shown their hand. They went after the January 6th rioters but show no interest in BLM or Antifa, which continue to riot to this day. They go after parents who complain at school board meetings but don’t go after the gangs in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco or Chicago who commit shootings and flash robberies.

I think it is his statement we should be wary of.

What’s Behind All This

Ben Shapiro of the Daily Wire summed up why the Democrats are “celebrating” this day. He released a rather long tweet that could easily have been an op ed, but there is more truth in this tweet than one normally sees. Let’s go through it.

Today is the first anniversary of January 6, a riot predicated on a falsehood pushed by President Trump — a riot which did not prevent the certification of the 2020 election by Vice President Mike Pence and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

I wouldn’t go so far as to say that the election was clean and that all Trump said were falsehoods. What Trump said couldn’t be proven to the point of overturning the election and he was incendiary during the months after the loss. He should have just shut his mouth and took it like a man. The reason? Because Republicans are suppose to be above the whining at losing unlike Democrats like Hilary Clinton and Stacey Abrams.

It was not a “coup” or an “insurrection,” nor was it charged criminally as such. It was not a turning point for the republic or a referendum on American political violence.

It is now being exploited by the political class to dramatically revise republican institutions including federalism and the filibuster. The outsized focus on January 6 by the media and Democrats is a pure act of political opportunism, and should be seen as such.

This is all true.

• Chuck Schumer, on Sunday, that he is going to push for revising (getting rid of) the filibuster to avoid having another January 6th.
• Biden and Harris said we need voter reform including mail in ballots, ballot harvesting, no voter IDs and automatic voter registration. I question this. Basically, they want to federalize voting, taking it away from the states. This is unconstitutional.
• Question: Why revise voting procedures if this was the most fair elections of all time?

The game is to suggest that January 6 was a grave threat to democracy, and that the threat has now metastasized into a full-blown political program pressed by the mainstream Republican Party — and that this requires concerted Democratic destruction of institutions.

Biden is not hiding the ball. Schumer is not hiding the ball. Pelosi is not hiding the ball. If the question of January 6 had remained whether riots are bad, whether the criminals should go to jail, or whether we ought to follow legally-certified election results, we’d agree.

But the question has now morphed — and it morphed within hours of the January 6 events. The question morphed into whether the entire Republican Party and all of its voters could be saddled with the mantle of “insurrectionary violence.”

This is what is really scary. Merrick Garland made it clear that the people who made January 6th happen did not have to be there to be guilty. Basically, if one voted for Trump, than he is guilty of insurrection on January 6th. This is what the fascists did in Italy, the socialists (Hitler) did in Germany and the communists did, and are doing, in the Soviet Union and China.

Dirty little secret: not one person arrested of the 500 or more have been charges with sedition, insurrection or treason.

And the follow-on question became just how much should evil Trump voters be censored (Parler and AWS) or whether we should dispense with the filibuster to “save democracy” or whether we ought to federalize voting procedures like ballot harvesting and banning voter ID.

The crocodile tears from the Left about the woes of police officers on January 6 ought to be taken with precisely the seriousness they deserve, given their 2014-2021 quest to label police systemically racist and ignore massive violence against the cops throughout the BLM riots.

And the crocodile tears from the Left about refusal to accept election results ought to be taken with precisely the seriousness they deserve from the party of Stacey Abrams and “Russian election interference” and “Facebook is to blame.”

One need not downplay the evils of January 6 or the lies of President Trump post-election in order to recognize the game being played. Politics is always politics. Always.

One thing that Shapiro doesn’t talk much about is this is a deflection from the failures of leadership of this administration. Biden’s domestic, foreign and economic policies have all failed. This is an opportunity to blame Republicans for all Biden’s failures and continue with these failed policies.

Let’s Talk About Trump

Donald Trump was a catalyst. He brought back Conservatism. He brought back capitalist and democratic policies and showed they work. He brought back patriotism and condemned socialist, tyrannical and Leftist philosophy. He fought against the tyranny we see in Iran, Russia, China and North Korea. He embraced our freedoms. He embrace free speech, freedom of religion, right to bare arms. He loved law and order. He hated bureaucracy and taxes. He hated regulation on business. He hated political correctness and wokeness. He said what he thought and, it turns out, what most of us think.

I will go so far as to say, the Left made Trump President. He is the Conservative’s culture warrior.

That being said, I don’t want him to run again. In fact, I don’t even want him in politics anymore unless someone asks him.

Here are my reasons why:

• He will be 78 years old in 2024.
• He has great policies but a lousy and divisive personality.
• People either love him or hate him. There is no middle ground. With someone else, there is a middle ground and an opportunity for a big win.
• If he runs again, this January 6th thing is going to haunt him. If someone else runs, January 6th becomes a mute point. It should be a moot point now since Trump has been out of office for a year.

Republicans, especially those not in the federal government, have learned the art of cultural warrior. That is one of the reasons that someone like Ron DeSantis is so popular. It is the reason that Glenn Youngkin won his election in Virginia. Both of those guys do not need Trump to win. They just have to fight like him.

Afghanistan continues to be a mess.

Bad news from the CBO concerning the Build Back Better bill, but it might not make much of a difference.

Afghanistan Update

This Afghanistan thing, which no one is talking about anymore, just keeps getting worse.

Marine Gen. Frank McKenzie was interviewed and said that the ability for the United States to monitor terrorists in Afghanistan.

He said:

“We’re probably at about 1 or 2% of the capabilities we once had to look into Afghanistan.”

The AP reported:

Speaking at the Pentagon, McKenzie said it’s clear that al-Qaeda is attempting to rebuild its presence inside Afghanistan, which was the base from which it planned the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks against the United States. He said some militants are coming into the country through its porous borders, but it is hard for the U.S. to track numbers. …

McKenzie and other senior U.S. military and national security officials had said before the U.S. withdrawal that it would complicate efforts to keep a lid on the al-Qaeda threat, in part because of the loss of on-the-ground intelligence information and the absence of a U.S.-friendly government in Kabul. The U.S. says it will rely on airstrikes from drones and other aircraft based beyond Afghanistan’s borders to respond to any extremist threats against the U.S. homeland.

Combine this with our open borders and we will be looking at a terrorist attack within the year. Al Qaeda is getting stronger. ISIS-K is getting stronger because all of the Afghani security forces are joining ISIS-K.

The only good news is the Taliban, Al Qaeda and ISIS-K are all fighting each other and there is a severe economic problems but don’t underestimate their motivations.

Believe it or not, though, a terrorist attack might be what the country needs in order to come together again.

Here We Go Again

Here we go again in California.

According to the New York Times:

California will once again require residents to wear masks in indoor public settings everywhere in the state, amid uncertainty surrounding the rapid spread of the Omicron coronavirus variant and rising case rates as the holidays approach.

The mandate will go into effect on Wednesday and will remain until at least Jan. 15, state officials said on Monday. The state will also require unvaccinated people attending so-called mega-events to show proof of a negative coronavirus test result from within a day, if it’s an antigen test, and within two days for a P.C.R. test, and formally recommended that travelers returning to California get tested within a few days of their arrival.

There is no reason for this and Gov. Gavin Newsom is getting crap for this. That’s because there is no evidence that Omicron is a threat at all. As of today, there have been only 43 cases in the United States with no deaths. In fact, throughout the world, there is only one death that they think might have been Omicron in United Kingdom.

Businesses throughout the state are complaining about this because many of them are recovering from last year and now have to set up limits on the number of customers in their businesses. San Francisco is complaining because they just ended their self-imposed mask mandate.

Masks also just don’t flat out don’t work. All Gavin has to just look at the counties of his own state to find that. Orange County (12 per 100,000) did not have a mask mandate while Los Angeles County did (15.9 per 100,000) and Sacramento County (16.8 per 100,000). Infections and deaths were higher than Orange County.

But let’s call this what it is. Control. Tyranny. This isn’t about the pandemic. With the discovery of the vaccines, the new treatments including a pill that will treat a person infected with COVID, the pandemic is over. Even if 100% of the people do not get the shots. The Left doesn’t want the pandemic to end and will continue to push these mandates to make sure the citizens continue to fall in line.

This Was the Plan All Along

New York City Democrats are trying to make sure that they will continue to win elections for the rest of time.

According to the New York Times:

New York City became the largest city in the country to allow noncitizens to vote in local elections after the City Council on Thursday overwhelmingly approved legislation granting the right to more than 800,000 legal residents.

The move places New York City at the forefront of the debate over voting rights, serving as a stark contrast to some states that have moved to add voting restrictions, including explicitly barring noncitizens from voting.

Surprisingly, Bill de Blasio doesn’t seem to be all for it. He said he thought the city council can’t legally do this and it would face legal challenges.

The city council did it because there are a lot of communities in the city that are majority immigrant and they believe politicians will be forced to campaign in those neighborhoods.

This is where I apply the Give A Mouse A Cookie principles. This is going to lead to illegal aliens to vote in local elections. Mind you, the Constitution does not allow for non-citizens to vote in federal elections. That’s one of the reason Democrats want illegal aliens to be given a pathway to citizenship.

Oops

Congressional Budget Office (CBO) showing that President Joe Biden’s Build Back Better Act could be significantly more expensive than he has led the American public to believe.

In a letter, the CBO stated:

The Congressional Budget Office and the staff of the Joint Committee on Taxation project that a version of the bill modified as you have specified would increase the deficit by $3.0 trillion over the 2022–2031 period (see Table 2). That amount includes three components: effects usually counted in CBO’s cost estimates (which are labeled conventional effects in the table), the effects of increased resources for tax enforcement, and effects on interest on the public debt. Under long-standing guidelines agreed to by the legislative and executive branches, estimates to be used for budget enforcement purposes include the first component but not the second and third.

What the CBO did was analyzed the cost of the Build Back Better bill over the course of all projects being extended for the whole ten years of the bill and not just based on “false sunset” for the programs that have made the bill cheaper than the $4 trillion it was originally.

What is a false sunset? Imagine the childcare program the want to run. If it cost $50 billion a year, over 10 years, it would cost $500 billion. What Democrats did was say the childcare bill will end, or sunset, in two years making the cost only $100 billion. Problem is once a program is implemented and people depend on it, it is hard to sunset that program without pissing off voters.

This is something Republicans, and Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema, were pointing out and why they won’t vote for the bill. It also shows how dishonest Joe Biden is.

Notice, she doesn’t answer the question. The score is not fake. What’s fake are the sunsets in the bill.

Here’s the good news: None of this matters. Next month, we are entering the 2022 campaign season. Nobody is going to vote for this boondoggle and then explain it to the voters during debates. Democrats are enough trouble.

It also appears that Democrats just don’t have the votes in the Senate. Joe Machin and Kyrsten Sinema are not going to vote for this and Joe Biden doesn’t have the poll numbers to convince them otherwise.

The New Narrative

Crime is going insane:

• Thieves made out with $100K in watches in a smash and grab operation at a high end store.
• A woman was killed in the normally safe city of Beverly Hills, California during a home invasion.
• Fox News Christmas tree was set on fire causing $500K in damage in New York.
• Philadelphia and seven other cities have exceeded their records for murder.
• Chicago is at 777 murders so far this year.
• Smash and grab robberies are hitting New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

What is the new narrative? Blue cities are saying that crime isn’t happening.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said:

“A lot of these allegations of organized retail theft are not actually panning out. I believe it’s a Walgreens in California [that] cited it, but the data didn’t back it up.”

The numbers don’t add up? How about these number: Walgreens closed seven stores in the San Francisco because of crime.

Chicago mayor, Lori Lightfoot said:

“We also got to push retailers. I’m disappointed that they are not doing more to take safety and make it a priority. For example, we still have retailers that won’t institute plans like having security officers in their stores, making sure that they’ve got cameras that are actually operational, locking up their merchandise at night. Chaining high-end bags, these purses seem to be something that is attracting a lot of attention on these organized retail theft units.”

Last I checked, a store is there to sell things or provide services, not provide law enforcement.

Bill de Blasio, the crappy mayor of New York, said:

“Eight years I’ve been mayor, index crimes, major crimes in New York City down 11% over eight years. And we did it bringing police and community closer together. The bottom line is that there is today in New York City, a much safer city than we were eight years ago.” 

The murder rate is up 47% from last year.

Left leaning DA of Philly, Larry Krasner said:

“We don’t have a crisis of lawlessness, we don’t have a crisis of crime, we don’t have a crisis of violence, It’s important that we don’t let this become mushy and bleed into the notion that there is some kind of big spike in crime. There isn’t. There is not a big spike in crime. … There is not a big spike in violent crime. Neither one of these things is true.”

Philly broke their all time record for murders and there’s still a month left in the year.

So what’s the new narrative? There is no crime problem. We don’t know what we’re talking about. This is how out-of-touch Democratic leaders have become. The defund and demonize the police. No cash bail or light bail. Light sentences or no charges for violent felons.

The guy who burned down the Fox News Christmas tree was released the next day. He caused $500K in damage and lit a fire on a crowded street in New York City. He was released the next day.

One of two things is going to happen. Either these Democratic cities are going to become the wild west or there’s just going to be a political backlash.

This Is Getting Old

This year’s getting rough for Jen Psaki. She is constantly trying to deflect for the President, even at times when she was not in the picture. What’s worse is she’s got Peter Doocy from Fox News to deal with who, honestly, seems to have fun making her squirm.

Here, Doocy asks Psaki if Old Joe is going to apologize to Kyle Rittenhouse for calling him a militiaman and a white supremacist. Her answer shouldn’t surprise you:

I do want to give her a break here. She wasn’t in the Biden administration when he said any of this so I’m not going to give her crap for not explaining why Biden ripped this kid. Where I will give her crap is the lie that Donald Trump never condemned white supremacy.

He did. A lot. He did it in a debate. He wouldn’t condemn the Proud Boys because he didn’t know who they were. It turns out the Proud Boys aren’t a white supremacist group, they are a chauvinist group. They believe in masculinity. Some would say toxic masculinity. But they’re not white supremacists. The founder and current president is Mexican. That’s the group Trump wouldn’t condemn.

Doocy doesn’t let her off the hook. Here he is asking how Biden could go to a billionaire’s mansion when people are suffering through inflation.

Some things:

• Turkey’s aren’t $1 more. I don’t know what she’s talking about.
• It’s not just the turkey. Ham is way up, baked goods are way up, sodas are way up (if you can find them), dairy is way up.
• This Thanksgiving is going to cost 15% more than last year. That’s a lot.

But she doesn’t answer Doocy’s question. Of course, Doocy doesn’t put up with that:

The answer is that Biden is president, you’re not. He is elite, you’re not.

He Was Right

Remember when Trump warned what would happen if we started getting rid of the Confederate statues? Well, here’s a reminder:

Trump was right. And notice the difference of the press for him and Joe Biden?

The statue of Thomas Jefferson, which has stood for almost 200 years, has been removed from New York City’s Council Chamber. It has been sent to the New York Historical Society.

According to the council’s Black, Latino, and Asian Caucus:

“This Administration owes it to the more than five million New Yorkers of color our members – past, present and future – represent, to resolve that the individuals memorialized within the confines of our People’s House be reflective not only of the best traditions of our city’s history and its diversity but unquestionable character.”

Bill de Blasio said in a statement:

“The de Blasio administration will continue the progressive war on history as he, himself, fades away into a portrait on a City Hall wall.”

Thomas Jefferson did own slaves. He slaves when slavery was accepted. Blacks, in America, also owned slaves. Most of them because their indentured servitude expired, were given land and they bought slaves to help with their crops. That what The 1619 Project doesn’t tell you. Slaves were sold in Africa by African chieftains. That’s something The 1619 Project doesn’t tell you.

Thomas Jefferson also wrote The Declaration of Independence, The Constitution, was the third President and denounced slavery as something that went against his words in The Constitution. That’s what The 1619 Project didn’t tell you.

Trump was right. But it gets better.

A statue of Theodore Roosevelt, which has stood in front of the American Museum of Natural History for 80 years, because the “statue is problematic in its composition. Moreover, its current location denies passersby consent and context.”

The statue is Roosevelt riding on horse with two American Indians running by his side. The Indians are trackers, leading Roosevelt through one of his soon-to-be national parks. How do I know this? I looked it up. Maybe some of these people needed to do that before moving this statue.

So now a statue need consent to stand there. It will be moved to North Dakota.

There are two question here:

• Doesn’t New York have bigger problems?
  • Their murder rate is up 200%.
  • They have a drug problem.
  • They have a homeless problem.
  • They have high taxes.
  • Low standard of living.
  • People are leaving to the point they lost a rep in the House.
• The second question is why?

Now, before, I used to say they eliminate American history. I was wrong. They are trying to replace American history.

• While we are tearing down statues of great men who were flawed, we are resurrecting statues of people like George Floyd, who provided nothing to society except terrorizing it.
• A Catholic church is under fire for putting up a painting putting the face of George Floyd on Jesus.
• This guy was not Jesus.
• Howard Zinn wrote an alternate history of the United States.
• Nikole Hannah-Jones wrote and alternate of history of the United States.
• Ibram X. Kendi wrote an alternate history of the United States and justifies discrimination against white people.
• Critical Race Theory is an alternate of history of the United States.

An we’re hearing now on Thanksgiving. The Pilgrims violated the American Indians. That didn’t happen.
