At the University of California, Berkeley on Monday, multiple people were arrested after violence broke out before Turning Point USA’s final stop on its tour at the campus.
Per Frontlines TPUSA reporter Savanah Hernandez, at least two people were arrested on campus after a fight broke out between a Trump supporter and an Antifa member. The Trump supporter, who was left bloodied, claimed the Antifa member had tried to rob him. Antifa members attempted to “de-arrest” the member being arrested by police.
Antifa agitators were seen rushing the barricades set up at the entrance of the event, chanting “fascists out of Berkeley.” Another arrest was reportedly made.
Agitators lit a flare, resulting in attendees of the Turning Point event being rushed inside. A person was heard chanting, “any time, any place, punch a fascist in the face.” A car exhaust backfiring outside the venue while performing a burnout raised fears in the crowd of gunshots being fired.
Some agitators were heard chanting “f*ck your dead homie.” This comes after Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk was assassinated in September while holding a campus event in Utah. Others were heard chanting “Antifa.”
The event featured comedian Rob Schneider, who wrote of the violence, “Thank YOU, Antifa for welcoming us tonight at UC Berkeley. We Look forward to our thoughtful, teargas free discussion and debate.”

Washington State University’s (WSU) medical school has suspended a continuing medical education (CME) course on youth gender medicine after LGBTQ activists protested the material, and the national accrediting body began an investigation into the program.
According to Fox News, the course, produced by the Society for Evidence-Based Gender Medicine (SEGM), had been approved by WSU in June after an extensive vetting process. It is now on hold while the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) reviews complaints.
CME programs are designed to help physicians and other healthcare professionals maintain and update their medical knowledge, sharpen clinical skills, and improve patient care. SEGM’s course was one such offering, focusing specifically on medical interventions for gender-dysphoric youth.
The video series from SEGM’s 2023 international academic conference covered topics such as “Transgender identities and the brain,” “Misconceptions in youth gender medicine,” and hormone treatments for gender-dysphoric youth.
According to SEGM, the course was intended to offer “guidance on the benefits, risks, and ethical considerations of medical interventions for gender-dysphoric youth.” The group says WSU’s continuing medical education team spent approximately nine months reviewing the content and ultimately concluded that it met national standards for scientific balance and educational integrity.

A Democrat-backed bill sitting on Governor JB Pritzker’s desk would turn Illinois into an assisted suicide destination and severely curtail the rights of Christian doctors, a conservative legal group is warning.
Just a few hours after midnight on Halloween morning, Democrats in the Illinois Senate rammed through legislation that would legalize doctor-assisted suicide in a 30–27 vote. The bill, which was passed by the state House in May, is awaiting Pritzker’s signature. It would allow doctors to prescribe deadly pills to those who are sick and have been given a prognosis of less than six months to live.
Conservative groups in the state say that the legislation would force doctors to promote and make referrals for the deadly practice.
“You’re not just allowing physicians to give people deadly drugs to kill themselves, but you’re actually forcing us or people of faith, to be part of it, to promote it,” Peter Breen, the head of litigation at Thomas More Society, told The Daily Wire. “I know of no other state where the legislature has gone this far in restricting the religious liberty rights of people of faith.”
While the bill says that doctors would not be forced to participate in prescribing the fatal pills, Breen said that the text contains provisions that would “force institutions and physicians to refer for and to inform about the opportunity to take deadly drugs and end your life.”
Breen noted that parts of the bill would make it impossible for a Christian hospital to fire a doctor who promoted assisted suicide or facilitated one off the grounds of the hospital.
Currently, 11 states and Washington, D.C., allow for physician-assisted suicide, but Illinois would be the first in America’s heartland.

The U.S. Supreme Court sided with President Donald Trump late Friday night, temporarily blocking an order for the administration to somehow fully fund food stamps while Senate Democrats keep the government shut down.
The administration already planned to tap into emergency funds to partially pay out Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) payments to the tune of billions of dollars. Administration officials said it would be impossible to provide the remaining billions needed to fully fund the program without congressional action, noting that the shortfall was the fault of Congress, not the executive branch.
SNAP payments are made to a stunning 42 million Americans every month.
SCOTUS sided with Trump, and agreed to temporarily block the lower court order for 48 hours. Liberal Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson issued the stay.
