The Human Rights Campaign (HRC), the largest LGBTQ civil rights organization in the United States, has declared a state of emergency for LGBTQ individuals. Why? Because the malevolent governments of red states have passed laws that are supposedly threatening members of the LGBTQ community by passing laws prohibiting the infusion of transgender ideology in the classroom, “gender-affirming care” for minor children, and refusing to allow biological males to compete in women’s sports.

California Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom wants to change the Constitution to curb gun rights.
Fed up with inaction on gun control, Newsom unveiled a proposed 28th Amendment to the Constitution on Thursday that would implement “commonsense” gun safety measures he claims have widespread bipartisan support.
“Our ability to make a more perfect union is literally written into the Constitution,” Newsom said Thursday. “So today, I’m proposing the 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution to do just that. The 28th Amendment will enshrine in the Constitution commonsense gun safety measures that Democrats, Republicans, Independents, and gun owners overwhelmingly support — while leaving the Second Amendment unchanged and respecting America’s gun-owning tradition.”

The Democratic governor’s proposed 28th Amendment would not abolish the Second Amendment, which establishes a right to bear firearms for personal self-defense and other lawful purposes. However, it would raise the federal minimum age to purchase a firearm from 18 to 21; mandate universal background checks to purchase firearms; institute a waiting period for all gun purchases; and ban “assault weapons.”

The Truth is Bullying
In another example of our elite institutions trying to get rid of truth and reality, we go to Oxford University.
According to the Daily Wire:
A prestigious college at the University of Oxford announced Thursday that violating its new transgender harassment policy, including using the wrong pronouns, could lead to expulsion.
Regent’s Park College released a Trans Inclusion Statement, which outlines in detail what the college considers “transphobic harassment” and threatens offenders with severe penalties, including expulsion.
The statement declares, “Any unlawful discriminatory behaviour, including transphobic harassment or bullying of by individuals or groups, will be regarded extremely seriously and could be grounds for disciplinary action, which may include expulsion or dismissal.”
But it is more than just using the wrong pronouns. Let’s look at what the university thinks is harassment and bullying.
Making jokes about trans people or their trans status;
Denying or disputing the validity and/or existence of a trans person’s identity;
Ostracising a trans person;
A refusal to treat a person in accordance with their affirmed identity;
Consistently using incorrect titles, pronouns or names to refer to a trans person (‘deadnaming’) especially where this causes distress, and the affirmed terms of address are known;
Unduly intrusive or personal questioning (or any other conduct) which is unwanted, and has the purpose or the effect of violating the other person’s dignity;
Inciting hatred or violence against trans people [explicitly or covertly];
Cyber bullying;
Physical violence of any kind.
Seems like a lot of this is a little subjective, doesn’t it?
But the paper goes into the truth of the matter:
The Equality Act 2010 affords protections on the basis of religion and belief, to people of faith, and those with a strongly held philosophical belief.
Lawfully expressed gender-critical beliefs must be held in balance with the dignity and respect of trans people, and with the College’s statement of commitment to trans inclusion.
Regent’s Park College respects the right of trans people to choose whether or not to participate in discussions or debates.
Regent’s Park College also respects the rights of those holding gender-critical beliefs which are to be protected, provided their expression does not constitute harassment as not respecting the rights and freedoms of others.
Mind you, religion and faith are fine as long as you are not a Christian and don’t carry a Bible. That’s because those things see the trans thing as not only a sin, but an abomination.
This also calls it like these people see it. The transgender ideology is a religion. The right religion that must be protected.
Finally, allow for discussions and debates? This is bullshit. Their bullying policy is so vague, a legit debate could be seen as bullying. One is not allowed to believe that transgender ideology is crap without being accused of bullying. This is meant to suppress debate.
People say the dumbest things but we should listen.

A Florida woman has been arrested on child endangerment charges after her vehicle burst into flames with three young children inside while she was allegedly shoplifting inside a department store.
Alicia Moore, 24, was arrested on charges of child neglect with great bodily harm and first-degree arson on May 26, and was booked into jail on a $40,000 bond, according to Seminole County Police documents, WESH reports.
The incident took place in the Oviedo Mall parking lot when Moore’s Tesla erupted into flames with three children inside as she was allegedly shoplifting at Dillard’s.
Witnesses observed the fire and aided those trapped inside, according to documents.
Moore noticed her car engulfed in flames as she was making her exit with the stolen merchandise, but dropped the items on the way out. Authorities say she was allegedly shoplifting with an unidentified male companion for around one hour, according to the outlet.
The cause of the fire was not mentioned, but it was moist out and this was a Tesla. One of the batteries probably overheated as the kids were running their devices. Bet a dollar this broad will try to sue Tesla.
The kids have been reported to be stable though they all suffered first degree burns. One kid has “significant damage”. Their ages have not been released.
With all the Pride bullshit that is going around within the government, this story is particularly galling. According to the Blaze:
An elite children’s choir was silenced in the middle of performing “The Star-Spangled Banner” inside the U.S. Capitol after Capitol police reportedly feared that the song could be considered a “protest” and “might offend someone.”
On May 26, members of the Rushingbrook Children’s Choir arrived in Statuary Hall of the U.S. Capitol for a pre-arranged tour. The group, believed to be a Christian choir from South Carolina, were also invited to perform a few patriotic songs in the hall after receiving approval from several of the state’s congressional representatives, including Russell Fry, William Timmons, and Joe Wilson — all Republicans.
However, as the choir was about to complete the third verse of the national anthem, a guide suddenly tapped the director on the shoulder and informed him that Capitol police had ordered the kids to stop singing immediately. The incident was captured on video, which has since gone viral on social media:

There were multiple reports this week that the Irish government was contemplating a plan to cull 200,000 cows within three years to fight climate change. The Irish Mirror stated that “the cows would have to be ‘culled’ at a cost of €600,000 to taxpayers over the next three years to meet climate emissions targets.”
“Culled” means killed.
The possible plan was detailed in an internal Department of Agriculture document that was unearthed in a freedom of information request.
The Irish Creamery Milk Suppliers Association immediately railed against the reported plan to kill 200,000 cows.
Pat McCormack – the president of the Irish Creamery Milk Suppliers Association – declared, “If there is to be a scheme, it needs to be a voluntary scheme. That’s absolutely critical because there’s no point in culling numbers from an individual who has borrowed on the back of a huge financial commitment on the back of achieving a certain target that’s taken from under him.”
Well, yeah, it’s going to cost farmers a lot of money that the government is going to have to pay for. It also is going to make food more scarce and more expensive. It is also going to, you know, kill 200,000 cows for no particular reason.
The government said that this paper was only a single solution to the climate problem and there were plenty of other models they were looking at. But that doesn’t seem to deter the climate nuts. The article continues:
Ireland’s Environmental Protection Agency claimed that agriculture was responsible for 38% of greenhouse gas emissions in Ireland in 2021, far outpacing transportation at nearly 18%.
The Food Vision Dairy Group published a report last October calling for an “urgent need to address the negative environmental impacts associated with dairy expansion.”
Shortly after the release of the report, Ireland’s Minister for Agriculture ,Charlie McConalogue, publicly proposed that farmers reduce the number of dairy cows.
This is another reason to get rid of bureaucracies that have to do crap in order to justify their existence. They look for any crazy reason to make themselves useful.

Do You Need Another Reason to Quit?
Well, China is at it again through TikTok.

The new “chroming” trend on social media has already led to a number of deaths, but what is the trend, and why is it becoming so popular now?
“You’re literally inhaling paints and solvents to get a high … the problem is you have acetone in there, formaldehyde is in there,” Fox News contributor Dr. Marc Siegel said during an appearance on “America’s Newsroom.” “It’s called volatile organic compounds for a reason: It irritates your skin, it can get into your lungs, you can have seizures, you can have coma, and, again, we’re occasionally seeing people die from this.”
At a glance, the trend appears to be a variation on the decades-old trend of huffing or sniffing different materials, this time involving the inhalation of anything from aerosol cans to metallic paints, gas and solvents. Two boys, both 16, died from participating in the trend in 2019, according to The Strait Times.
Despite the trend existing for a few years, searches for chroming spiked around May 14, according to Google Trends. The trend has gained particular attention in Australia after 13-year-old Esra Haynes died while allegedly chroming.
The article later describes some of the symptoms of chroming:

Effects can last for a short amount of time — mere hours after exposure — but chroming can also lead to heart attack, seizure, suffocation, coma or permanent damage to organs such as the brain, heart, lungs, liver and kidneys.
You notice we are not allowed to call a man who thinks he’s a woman a man without getting banned but Chinese TikTok can post challenges that can kill our kids and there’s barely a blip on the radar?
It is very apparent TikTok is a Chinese behavioral manipulation tool just like fentanyl is a Chinese weapon but no one does a thing about it.
The U.S. unemployment rate rose to 3.7% in May, still near historic lows but an uptick from April’s 3.4%, the Labor Department said. Average hourly earnings grew a solid 4.3% in May over the prior year, similar to annual gains in March and April.
The unemployment rate going up is a big deal. It says that additional people are not being hire but people are switching jobs. It also doesn’t take into account people that are getting second jobs to make ends meet.
The news wasn’t all great and this is where we see issues:
The average workweek fell to 34.3 hours, the lowest since April 2020 near the start of the pandemic. As a result of fewer hours worked, average weekly earnings advanced at a slower rate than hourly earnings, and gains have cooled since the start of the year.
Another report was released stating that more people in the country are working two jobs in order to make ends meet than ever has been seen before.
The labor-force participation rate, the share of Americans who are working or actively seeking jobs, remained flat in May at 62.6% and below the February 2020 prepandemic level of 63.3%. That partly reflects the aging U.S. population. Among workers age 25 to 54, the participation rate rose to 83.4%, a level last touched in 2007.
Again, people are not working. This is an important statistic. What we also need to look at here is the people that have left the work force. It has been found that 2% of people never returned to the work force and 2% went into early retirement. Mix that with the fact we have still not met the pre-pandemic employment numbers and that 3.7% unemployment rate looks closer to 5%.

The other issue that more workers creates is in the area of inflation. More jobs, more people have money. More people have money, more demand. More demand (especially with supply chain issues) more inflation. The Fed is not sure whether or not they want to raise interest rates now because that will bite into unemployment. But if they don’t inflation, which is still at 6%, will continue.
President Biden is pushing the victimhood narrative for the trans group again, being as unifying as he always has been.

President Biden claimed that transgender children are in danger from “armed hate groups” across the country in a recent proclamation for Pride Month.
The proclamation, released one day before the start of Pride Month, focused on “transgender youth” and children, declaring that such young people “in over a dozen States have had their medically necessary health care banned.”
Here’s where everyone is in disagreement, including Democrats. Cutting off genitals, breasts and drugging children with sterilizing drugs is not health care.
This stuff is also not banned for everyone,. It should be, but it’s not. It’s banned for children.
“[C]hildren’s hospitals” were also identified as a place where LGBT Americans are being threatened by “armed hate groups.”
Who are those “armed hate groups”? What have they done so far? The answer is parents at school board meetings and people that protest this stuff. There are no organized and armed hate groups. No one has ever committed violence against these people.
In fact, we could say it goes the other way. Target had a bomb threat because of their LGBTQ+-poop emoji group. It was because the moved the displays to the back and a pro-LGBTQ+-poop emoji groups called in the threat. This was never reported.
“Youth leaders are organizing walkouts at high schools and colleges across the country to protest discriminatory laws. LGBTQI+ young people and their parents are demonstrating unimaginable courage by testifying in State capitols in defense of their basic rights,” the proclamation continued.
The document used the terms “youth,” “children” and “young” to describe transgender and “LGBTQI+” identifying individuals at least 9 times.
The children are not doing this because they buy it. They’re doing it to get out of school. The teachers are organizing this. We know this from accounts like Libs of TikTok and interviews with the kids themselves.
Notably, Biden claimed that “State and local legislatures have already introduced over 600 hateful laws targeting the LGBTQI+ community.”
Again, no laws have been implemented against the mutilating surgeries for adults. Only for kids.
The document warns of the threat of “armed hate groups” targeting LGBTQI members: “Homophobic and transphobic vitriol spewed online has spilled over into real life, as armed hate groups intimidate people at Pride marches and drag performances, and threaten doctors’ offices and children’s hospitals that offer care to the LGBTQI+ community. Our hearts are heavy with grief for the loved ones we have lost to anti-LGBTQI+ violence.”
That “hateful vitriol” comes from people like me who call all those sick bastards groomers and perverts. Even though they are groomers and perverts, I have no intention of shooting anyone.
And that brings me to my final point about this. When they say armed hate groups, they mean people who don’t agree with them that believe in the Second Amendment (like me). They don’t mean that there is an actual organized hate group out there.
All this is to demonize people who don’t agree with them. Eventually, people like me will be put in jail for something we said on Twitter.
A hate crime has taken place against America’s most important religion.

The day of the release, Twitter decided the movie was an example of hate speech and would throttle it.

California will provide up to $4,500 in financial assistance to undocumented immigrants who were impacted by the series of damaging storms that slammed the state in January and March, Gov. Gavin Newsom’s office confirmed on Wednesday.
The Storm Assistance for Immigrants Project is a $95 million plan that will be available to most counties in June. It will provide recovery money to those who are not eligible for FEMA’s individual assistance, which was provided to people in counties who fell under the President’s Major Disaster Declaration in January and April. The funds will be available until May 31, 2024, or until all of the money is distributed, whichever comes first.

According to ABC7 News Los Angeles:
An LGBTQ Pride flag was burned at an elementary school in North Hollywood and police are now investigating it as a possible hate crime.
Before it was burned, the small flag was displayed in a planter outside of a classroom at Saticoy Elementary School. The Los Angeles Police Department says it took a report last week and launched a hate crime vandalism investigation.
It’s not clear who burned it, but a new larger flag is now on display outside the classroom.
The incident seems to be part of a deeper divide among parents over whether LGBTQ and Pride issues should be taught in grade school. And it comes as the school plans to hold a Pride Day assembly on Friday.
I have one question about this: What if someone did this to the American flag? Would that be a hate crime?
This is not a hate crime. It’s vandalism. I do want to point out that we don’t know who did this. This whole thing can be done by an LGBTQ+ activist.
It also begs the question if schools should be teaching this shit in the first place. Many parents in North Hollywood have said, “no”.

It stipulates capital punishment for “serial offenders” against the law and transmission of a terminal illness like HIV/AIDS through gay sex. It also decrees a 20-year sentence for “promoting” homosexuality.
“The Ugandan president has today legalized state-sponsored homophobia and transphobia,” said Clare Byarugaba, a Ugandan rights activist.
There are some things missing from this article (surprise!). While the law is extreme, it does not kill people for being gay. It’s illegal to have a gay relationship but they won’t kill you.
What they will kill you for is raping a child and raping a person who is an invalid. That’s what the law actually says. No one mentions that.
But the United States can’t tolerate that. The article continues:
President Joe Biden called the move “a tragic violation” of human rights and said Washington would evaluate the implications of the law “on all aspects of U.S. engagement with Uganda.”
“We are considering additional steps, including the application of sanctions and restriction of entry into the United States against anyone involved in serious human rights abuses or corruption,” he said.
A presidency photo of Museveni showed him signing the law with a golden pen at his desk. The 78-year-old has called homosexuality a “deviation from normal” and urged lawmakers to resist “imperialist” pressure.

The answer is yes. Just like Christianity is Uganda’s religion, LGBTQ+ ideology is trying to become the official religion of the United States.
On May 6th, a thirty-three-year-old Mexican American man named Mauricio Garcia shot and killed eight people at an outlet mall in Allen, Texas. Then he was shot and killed by an off-duty police officer. Because of the white-supremacist views the shooter expressed in a diary and online, many were shocked that he was Latino. In fact, Latino white supremacy isn’t an oxymoron, and carrying out a premeditated mass shooting in the United States is one of the more American things a Latino could do. We’re only five months into 2023, and in that time seventeen thousand people have been killed by guns in this country. Meanwhile, there are more than sixty million Latinos in the United States, and, motivated by extremism or a sense of fear, they’ve bought a lot of guns in the past few years.
In his 2004 book, “Who Are We? The Challenges to America’s National Identity,” the late political scientist Samuel P. Huntington fretted over how Mexican immigration was changing the “Anglo-Protestant mainstream culture” of the United States. He worried that Mexican immigrants weren’t assimilating as earlier European immigrants had done. “The criteria that can be used to gauge assimilation of an individual, a group, or a generation include language, education, occupation and income, citizenship, intermarriage and identity,” he wrote. Huntington believed that the descendants of Mexican immigrants weren’t hitting these markers, but he was wrong. They assimilated like others did. They learned English, intermarried, became loyal Americans, and adopted American politics, including its most extreme and violent forms.
We don’t know a lot about Garcia, but the diary he kept in the years leading up to the shooting made clear his growing persuasion by white-power ideology. He wrote about the superiority of non-Latino white people and claimed they would lose their edge if they continued to let nonwhite immigrants into the country. Reports on Garcia’s self-presentation have focussed on his misogyny, Nazi tattoos, racist statements against pretty much every group, and the patch on his vest that read “RWDS.” The patch, which stands for Right-Wing Death Squad and refers to anti-Communist and anti-Indigenous paramilitary groups in Central and South America during the nineteen-seventies and eighties, has become popular among right-wing groups in the United States today, particularly the ultranationalist Proud Boys.
But Garcia continued to see himself as Latino, which he never equated with whiteness, and at moments he manifested pride in his nonwhite Latino identity. It is a confusing set of ideas that nevertheless has a long history among Latinos, in part because the category “Latino” itself has been fiercely contested—with some arguing, for example, that it should be classified as a race rather than an ethnicity. A New York TimesOp-Ed by the historian Cecilia Márquez focussed on the lineage of Latino white supremacists before Mauricio Garcia, including Pete Garcia, a Mexican American segregationist in Dallas in the nineteen-fifties; George Zimmerman, who killed Trayvon Martin, in Florida, in 2012; Alex Michael Ramos, who beat a Black protester at the 2017 Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville; Enrique Tarrio, the Proud Boys leader recently convicted of seditious conspiracy; and Nick Fuentes, a white-nationalist live streamer. Most of these Latinos said they were nonwhite, even though the protests they joined, the groups they belonged to, and the violence they committed defended whiteness and white-power ideology.
Scholars and journalists have described these Latino white supremacists in different ways. Some Latinos, they’ve argued, are also afflicted by “aspirational whiteness,” or the desire to be white in order to fit into the racial and capitalist order of the United States, to avoid the discrimination that Black Americans experience, or to justify the pursuit of individual wealth and belonging. They ascribe to “multiracial whiteness,” which the political scientist Cristina Beltrán defines as an identity that people from all racial backgrounds can participate in. It is rooted, she writes, “in a discriminatory world view in which feelings of freedom and belonging are produced through the persecution and dehumanization of others.” Such concepts help to explain how, in a country with rising racial violence, Latinos can be both potential perpetrators and potential victims.
Many Latinos, like other Americans, have responded to their sense of victimhood by buying weapons. Latinos armed themselves after the August, 2019, massacre by a white-power shooter at a Walmart in El Paso, which left twenty-three people dead, almost all of them Latino. As the coronavirus pandemic spread across the country, Latinos reported fears of violent crimes; this was again followed by a spike in gun purchases by Latinos. A survey conducted by the National Shooting Sports Foundation, the trade association for the firearms industry, found that Latinos purchased guns at a forty-nine-per-cent higher rate in 2020 than in 2019. It also found that forty per cent of gun retailers reported an increase in sales to Latinos in 2021. Last year, another Latino shooter used an AR-15 he bought himself for his eighteenth birthday to kill twenty-one people and injure seventeen others at Robb Elementary School, in Uvalde, Texas.
According to Harel Shapira, a sociologist at the University of Texas at Austin and the author of a forthcoming book on American gun culture which focusses on Texas, the fact that gun ownership in the United States has become increasingly diverse is “something that people love to talk about, especially conservative groups like the N.R.A. and gun organizations. No one throws out the flag of diversity more than them.” Shapira thinks that, when the N.R.A. says it cares about diversity, “they are being at once cynical and genuine. They are being cynical when they express concern only in the context of supporting gun rights, but not, for example, affirmative action or other policies that benefit nonwhite Americans. They are being genuine in so far as they truly believe that the best way for minority populations to obtain equality is by being armed.”
In Texas alone, there have been twenty-one mass shootings so far this year. They’ve left thirty-four people dead and another eighty-two injured. (I had to update these numbers three times while writing this essay.) In at least four of them, the shooters were Latino. We live in a country where everyone from university deans to corporate executives extolls the virtues of assimilation and diversity, but the growing diversity of gun owners who inflict mass death should cause us to rethink inclusion’s underlying assumptions. So, too, should Latino white-supremacist thinking—another marker of Latino assimilation at a time when white-power ideology is spreading rapidly at home and abroad. Expressing surprise or disbelief at the fact that Latino white-supremacist shooters exist marks them as outsiders, as many Latinos before them have been marked. But it should be the shootings that we see as un-American, not the shooters themselves.
When it comes to your abortion, any reason is the right reason. Telling your abortion story is important, and the more we talk about this essential form of health care, the more normalized it becomes.
Planned Parenthood is truly one of the most evil organizations even to exist. They are pushing killing babies and want to normalize it. They don’t offer those services but just give it time. They will.

The national organization behind Black Lives Matter is facing bankruptcy after plummeting $8.5 million into debt last year, RadarOnline.com has learned.
In a concerning development to come almost four years after the BLM Global Network Foundation formally emerged in November 2020, the organization is now nearly $9 million in the red.
Even more concerning is evidence showing that BLM GNF still managed to hire and pay relatives of the foundation’s founder, Patrisse Cullors, lucrative seven-figure salaries despite the devastating financial woes faced in 2022.
What is that evidence:
Paul Cullors also reportedly received an additional $126,000 salary as “head of security” for the foundation, as well as vague consulting fees, despite having no experience or background in the security services industry.
Patrisse’s brother Paul was paid a whopping $1.6 million last year to provide “professional security services” for BLM.
Patrisse came under fire when it was revealed the foundation paid the father of her child $970,000 to produce “live events” and other “creative services” for the BLM GNF.
Cullors also bought 4 houses with the money from the organization.
The group is so corrupt that California pulled their non-profit status and they weren’t allowed to ask for donations.
Patrice Cullors resigned from her position as leader from the organization last year.
Of course, BLM was not serious about managing their finances. The replaced Cullors with someone who also had a checkered financial past.

The Black Lives Matters national group has a new executive to deal with its financial scandal: a woman who’s bungled her own finances.
Cicley Gay, 44, a non-profit advisor and flack named chair of Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation in April, filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in 2005, 2013 and 2016, federal court records show.
Her most recent filing, from August 2016, showed Gay had more than $120,000 in debts, including owing $55,000 in student loans — from her time studying at Liberty University in Virginia and the University of Kansas — and more than $18,000 for leasing a Lincoln MKZ sedan.
I wonder how many homes this broad bought.

New York City Democratic Mayor Eric Adams claimed Friday that “body type” has no connection to a person’s health after signing a bill banning height and weight discrimination.
The bill signed by Adams prohibits discrimination on the basis of height and weight for employment, housing, and public accommodations in the city. The bill contains an exception for employers who need to consider height and weight to abide by federal, state, or local laws and regulations. After signing the legislation, Adams discussed why he believes it’s necessary and made a scientifically erroneous statement.
“Everyone knows that I’m a person that believes in health, so when you talk about not discriminating against someone because of their body type, it’s not fighting against obesity; it’s just being fair,” the mayor said, adding, “And science has shown that body type is not a connection to if you are healthy or unhealthy. I think that’s a misnomer.”
This is the problem with Democrats. They never solve problem they have, many they created, such as crime, but they create new problems out of thin air.

According to the New York Post:
The State Farm General Insurance Company will no longer accept new applications for property insurance and other policies in California, citing “historic” increases in construction costs and inflation,” the company said Friday.
Beginning Saturday, the Illinois-based insurance group will cease to accept applications for business and personal lines property and casualty insurance.
The move doesn’t impact personal vehicle insurance.
“State Farm General Insurance Company made this decision due to historic increases in construction costs outpacing inflation, rapidly growing catastrophe exposure, and a challenging reinsurance market,” the company said in a release. “The Department of Insurance is focused on the safety of our homes and communities.”
The insurance company said actions are necessary to improve its financial strength.

“This has nothing to do with the LGBTQ community or Pride or anything like that. This is simply a group that was making fun of a religion, that I don’t agree with.”
Now, my question is where are the rest of the Dodgers? Where’s Dave Roberts, who is a devout Christian or Mookie Betts or Freddie Freeman. They are all Christians. Where is Sandy Kofax, who is the face of the Dodgers? He is a devout Jew.

Deal Is Done!
The debt ceiling has been raised after the negotiations. There is a huge argument from establishment Republicans and Conservatives as to whether it was a good deal.
Here are some of the benefits:
It cuts spending year-over-year, including a rollback of nondefense discretionary spending to FY22 levels – while fully funding the Veterans Administration’s medical programs.
This is a win but this should never have been on the table in the first place.
It limits topline federal spending to 1% annual growth for the next six years – a huge cut from the Biden budget proposal.
Problem here is the budget is in the trillions of dollars. This does not seem like much of a win.
It will help lift millions out of poverty by enacting work requirements for food stamps and welfare benefits. The 1996 welfare reform bill made virtually the same changes. This will mean more Americans will be working and paying taxes, and fewer Americans will depend on the government. This has big, long-term government and human benefits.
This is great but, again, should have been required a long time ago.
It claws back tens of billions in unspent COVID-19 funds, including $400 million from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s “Global Health Fund” that would have sent taxpayer money to China.
Common sense.
Billions more will be cut other programs, making this the largest total rescissions package in history.
I’d like a little more detail here. Reality is more cuts are going to be necessary. Good start though.
The deal puts in place the first-ever statutory administrative pay-as-you-go rule to hold President Biden accountable for the full cost of executive rules and regulations. This should save taxpayers trillions of dollars.
Again, a start. Old Joe’s executive orders and bureaucratic rules should be challenged in court. We may need an amendment to the Constitution to really fix the over extension by the bureaucracies.
It cuts red tape and streamlines important infrastructure and energy projects – and cuts costs with the first significant reform to environmental policy since 1982.
Need more information on this. Seems to me this could be overridden by Biden himself.
It slashes funding for Biden’s new IRS agents and eliminates the total fiscal year 2023 staffing funding request for new agents.
Good but still need more information. I like DeSantis’ plan to apply a consumption tax and abolish the IRS.
It restarts student loan repayments and requires borrowers to be responsible for paying off their student loan debts, saving taxpayers an estimated $5 billion per month.
This was never going to happen because of inflation and it is unconstitutional. This is not a victory.
It has a bold requirement to “Make Congress Work Again” by compelling a functioning appropriations process and imposing a temporary 99% continuing resolution level cap until all 12 appropriations bills are passed and become law.
I love this idea. It is meant to keep focus. I don’t know what will happen when bills don’t get passed. Can you say, “executive order”?
It protects senior citizens, veterans and our national security by fully funding critical veterans’ programs and defense priorities, while preserving Social Security and Medicare.
This isn’t much of a win because Democrats would have passed this anyway. Too much controversy and Democrats don’t mind spending.
It blocks Democrat demands for new taxes and reject all $5 trillion of Biden’s proposed tax increases.
That’s great but is a benefit for Biden. His tax plan is extremely unpopular and I’m sure he was hoping Republicans would block it.
Conservatives like Bill Lee and Ted cruise are less than thrilled for the bill because it doesn’t stop $4 trillion on spending (that’s where the limits has been raised too).
Lindsey Graham, who is no Conservative, doesn’t like the cap in military spending and wants continued spending for Ukraine, which could be in jeopardy. .
The big loser in this whole thing is Joe Biden.
He said he wouldn’t negotiate and ended up doing it.
He gave into the job requirements for social benefits.
He refunded defense.
He will lose that $400 million from the COVID payments and he was depending on that for some of his green new deal crap.
Biden got his ass kicked even if Conservatives did not get all they wanted.
Ron DeSatis launches his campaign and it does go great. What did go great was his message.

Tina Turner, iconic R&B singer, has died at the age of 83.
The Supreme Court ruled in favor Thursday of a 94-year-old Minnesota grandmother who claimed that the state violated her constitutional rights when they seized her condo over an unpaid tax debt, then sold the property and kept all the sale proceeds — which were far above what she actually owed.
Geraldine Tyler owned a condo which Hennepin County seized as payment for approximately $15,000 in outstanding property taxes, penalties, interest and costs. The home was then sold for $40,000. Under the state’s forfeiture laws, the county kept the surplus proceeds – in this case to the tune of $25,000.
Tyler argued that the government violated the Fifth Amendment’s “Takings Clause” by confiscating property worth more than the debt owed by the owner. Lower courts ruled against her and dismissed her case, but the Supreme Court on Thursday unanimously sided with her arguments and held that she brought a valid claim under the Takings Clause.
“The taxpayer must render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s, but no more,” Chief Justice John Roberts wrote in the court’s opinion.
Musk’s highly anticipated announcement on Twitter’s “Spaces” feature that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis would formally enter the GOP presidential race turned into a debacle for the Tesla mogul on Wednesday.
Twitter’s mobile app repeatedly crashed, and users complained they were unable to hear the broadcast. The issues came after a lengthy delay as it appeared the platform was completely overwhelmed for arguably the biggest Twitter event since Musk purchased the social media platform last year.
Musk has a staggering 140.8 million Twitter followers but fewer than 300,000 managed to tune in for the DeSantis chat. The Twitter Space had 900,000 concurrent viewers at one point, according to screenshots of the space, but more than two-thirds bailed or were unable to listen because of the tech issues by the time DeSantis was able to begin.

The rebate promises an amount “equivalent to the purchase price of one (1) 15-pack or larger, up to $15” of Bud Light, Budweiser, Budweiser Select or Budweiser Select 55 paid via Anheuser-Busch Digital Prepaid Mastercard. Based on recent prices for Bud Light products, however, in some cases this would be giving packs of beer away for free.
Online searches of local beer retailers find many offers under $15 for 15-packs or larger of these Budweiser products, making the products free after rebate, excluding sales tax or any state restrictions.
Here’s the deal, we should not stop. Pay for your beer. Don’t be lured by free piss water. We need to make Bud Light APOLOGIZE AND PROMISE NOT TO DO THIS AGAIN!
Here is news that shouldn’t shock anyone yet it does and no one changes their behavior. Then we get another report a year later and it becomes big news, yet no one does anything then either.

Businesses are always looking for a more efficient and cheaper way to get your shipped packages to you. One of the ways to do this is by using drone technology.

You may start seeing more drones soaring through the air, and don’t worry, it’s not going to be from any secret spies trying to look into your home. These drones are going to be sent out for deliveries from major companies like Amazon, Walmart, Google, UPS, FedEx, Uber and DHL.
Alphabet, Google’s parent company, has been experimenting with drone delivery as part of its Project Wing initiative, which aims to create a fleet of unmanned aircraft that can deliver items from food to medical supplies.
Walmart has also been testing drones to deliver groceries and household essentials in select markets since 2015. On the other hand, UPS and FedEx have been trying out drone deliveries since 2016, using them to make deliveries to remote areas. Meanwhile, Uber has been testing drone deliveries as part of its Uber Eats food delivery service, with trials taking place in California.
We already use drones for a ton of purposes. I have drones and I love them. I’m thinking I might get my commercial license. But the article also points out there are some major issues when trying to use this technology.
These things make a lot of noise. To carry packages, they have to be pretty big.
There are liability issues. These things to crash. I know that through experience.
Dropping packages could be an issue. Houses are one thing but what about small spaced areas like apartment buildings.
There are also other issues that the article brings out:
Efficiency. Right now, only one package can be delivered at a time.
Whose going to fly these things?
Distance can be an issue. These things have flight limitations as far as distance goes. Especially with cargo.
I don’t think we are near replacing those Amazon drivers.
When crime in blue cities go up, politicians have to find someone to blame. The easiest targets are white supremacists or corporations. When car theft goes up, it is best to blame corporations.
According to The Blaze:
Baltimore is suing Kia and Hyundai, claiming their cars are too easy to steal, joining other U.S. cities such as St. Louis and Seattle, according to the office of Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott.
I’ll let you figure out what St. Louis, Seattle and Baltimore have in common.
The city of Baltimore filed the suit Thursday against the automakers “for failing to equip their vehicles with industry-standard vehicle immobilization technology,” officials said.
The mayor’s office said without the vehicle immobilization technology, cars can be started without a key, adding that it’s “a flaw that has been the subject of numerous TikTok videos demonstrating the ease with which these cars can be stolen.”
Do you know why they don’t include that feature? It will increase the value of the car by thousands of dollars and-shocker- these cities are poor.
Officials said it’s resulted in a “rash of thefts of these vehicles not only in Baltimore City but nationwide. Five hundred seventy-seven Kias and Hyundais have been stolen in Baltimore so far this year, a pace that will likely result in a year-end total that more than doubles that of 2022.”
Scott said “these cost-cutting measures” by the automakers come “at the expense of public safety” and are “unacceptable.”

Commissioner Michael Harrison added that Baltimore police have “tracked the striking increase of auto thefts of Kia and Hyundai vehicles throughout the city. Year-to-date, auto thefts are up 95%, with Kia and Hyundais representing 41% of all stolen vehicles.”
Maybe they should not make car theft a misdomeanor and throw some of the felons in prison. Why is it cities like Dallas, Nashville and Miami don’t have these problems?
DeSantis is finally going to go all in, running for President. The news media is wigging out over how he’s going to do it.
Target is virtue signaling and it’s not working out. Worse yet, the are allying with some very iffy personalities.

Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis is officially entering the 2024 presidential race this week during a special event with Twitter owner Elon Musk.
The conversation between DeSantis and Musk will take place on Twitter at 6 p.m. ET on Wednesday, according to multiple reports. The conversation will be moderated by Republican donor David Sacks, who is supporter of DeSantis and a close ally of Musk.

Some southern Target stores were forced by the corporation to move LGBTQ Pride merchandise away from the front of their locations after customer “outrage” to avoid a “Bud Light situation.”
Many Target locations across the country feature massive June Pride month displays on an annual basis, with items this year ranging from “tuck friendly” bathing suits for transgender people to mugs that say “gender fluid.” But the retail juggernaut has been criticized by some conservatives for the displays, with children’s items particularly irking many customers.
A Target insider told Fox News Digital that many locations, mostly in rural areas of the South, have relocated Pride sections to avoid the kind of backlash Bud Light has received in recent weeks after using a transgender influencer in a promotional campaign.
It was worse than the article starts off. It continues:
A Target insider said there were “emergency” calls on Friday and that some managers and district senior directors were told to tamp down the Pride sections immediately.
“We were given 36 hours, told to take all of our Pride stuff, the entire section, and move it into a section that’s a third the size. From the front of the store to the back of the store, you can’t have anything on mannequins and no large signage,” the Target insider said.
“We call our customers ‘guests,’ there is outrage on their part. This year, it is just exponentially more than any other year,” the Target insider continued. “I think given the current situation with Bud Light, the company is terrified of a Bud Light situation.”
This is called winning.
But it gets worse for Target. According to Fox News:
Target has found itself in hot water again over its gay pride collection, this time because of its partnership with a controversial designer.
The major retailer partnered with U.K.-based brand Abprallen to sell merchandise with pro-LGBTQ messages to celebrate Pride month. A search on Target’s website finds some of the items.
While the company was already under a microscope over its “tuck-friendly” swimsuits, some social media users were angered to discover that Abprallen’s designer Eric Carnell is also an outspoken Satanist whose brand features occult imagery and messages like “Satan respects pronouns” on brand apparel.
This story is just funny and I love the way the Blaze tells it.

A man in Florida fell into a pond behind a bar and later awakened to find out that his arm had been bitten off by an alligator.
23-year-old Jordan Rivera told WBBH-TV that the bathrooms were full at the Banditos bar in Port Charlotte early Sunday morning, so he decided to go out back to relieve himself.
“I just saw a little lake and just went over there and just, you know, take a little pee, what not,” Rivera explained. “Something happened where I either tripped or the ground below me just went down.”
He said he went into the water, and the next thing he remembered is that he awoke in the hospital without his right arm.
“Confusion, I was like ‘Whoa,’ because I just woke up and I was just sitting here. And I looked over and I saw my arm the way it was and I was like, ‘Whoa,’” Rivera continued. “It kind of feels like my arm is just there but not there.”
Hmm, wonder why the ground suddenly fell from below his feet behind the bar? I love that the guy was wasted but that never comes up in the story.
There was a video and guess what? He looked wasted.
Later in the article, initial theories as to how he lost the arm were debunked.
Although his story has captivated many in Florida, some have spread rumors that Rivera was feeding the alligator when he lost his arm. He vehemently denies the rumor.
“That is completely not true,” Rivera added. “They don’t even serve food at that bar, so I couldn’t have even served the gator food.”
Florida officials said they captured the alligator and euthanized the animal, adding that it was measured at ten and a half feet long.
