Episode 520 – When Are We Going to Discuss This?

Let’s talk about the mass shooting in New York.

The Soviet Socialist Republic of Santa Monica is losing their mail service because of their stupid policies.

And is there a line between you being fat or others being fatphobic.

 

A Mass Shooting in a Brooklyn Subway

 

What Happened?

Here’s what happened:

  • On a subway in Brooklyn, New York, a man put on a gas mask and pulled out two smoke cannisters and ignites them.
  • He says, “Oops, my bad,” and drops an axe on the floor.
  • He then pulls out a 9 mm Glock with three extended magazines.
  • He starts firing.
  • 10 people were shot and 19 others were injured.
  • The gun jammed and the gunman ran out of the train.
  • The gunman runs out of the train station and jumps into his white U-Haul van rented from Philadelphia.
  • He drives 10 miles and abandoned the vehicle.
  • The police find the vehicle and identify the “person of interest”, Frank R. James.
  • The police said the man was 5’5″ and a person with dark complexion.

Five of the shooting victims are in critical condition but all those injured are expected to survive. This whole thing could have been far more tragic if the shooter knew how to shoot and he had a gun that worked. Thank God for small miracles.

Of course people of Twitter just assumed the guy who committed this crime. Let’s look at some:

The Suspect

Yesterday, James was considered a “person of interest”. Today, he is a suspect.

A description was release:

  • A male.
  • 5’5″ tall.
  • Dark complexion.
  • Heavy.
  • He is in his 50’s or 60’s.

Mind you, the authorities had a picture of him. Notice something is missing? Yep, his race. The Leftist media decided to kind of keep that little detail out of the conversation, even when James’ picture was released.

Turns out James has a lot of issues that will make the media start ignoring this story immediately.

First, he had mental health issues. In a second, you are going to hear it. This is going to be the narrative of the media. CNN is highlighting this point when he was arrested. They ignored the other part which seems kind of important. Him having a mental illness could be an issue for the Left. Of course, they were all screaming about gun control, but this guy should have never been able to own a gun because he’s crazy. He bought the gun in 2011 from a pawn shop.

And what is the second part? Listen to a couple of his social media videos and you tell me (caution, there is strong language):

This is the definition of racism, segregation and black supremacy.

This is something that needs to be talked about. This isn’t the first time this has happened. There is a lot of black supremacy out there and it is becoming more violent.

  • The Waukesha massacre.
  • The attempted assignation of a mayoral candidate in Minnesota.
  • The Black Hebrew Israelites attack.

But the media doesn’t want to talk about it. White supremacy isn’t a thing anymore. It was, in the past, but it has been condemned. But with this demonization of white people and the ignoring of black supremacists, we really need to talk about it. This stuff is not going to go away and, because the media ignores it, could only get worse and more frequent. It really is time to stop blaming guns on everything and call out why things are the way they are.

That’s What They Get

One of the most liberal cities in Southern California is getting what they deserve.

According to the Daily Wire:

Santa Monica Postmaster Marjorie Watson sent a letter to residents at the 1300 block of 14th Street in Santa Monica after several mail carriers were assaulted by an unknown individual.

The New York Post released a letter from the postmaster explaining the issue:

“This letter is to provide you notice that… delivery service is hereby suspended to all addresses located on the 1300 block of 14th Street, Santa Monica. This is unfortunate, but please be advised that the Postal Service does not enter into decisions to suspend service lightly. Multiple carriers have been subjected to assaults and threats of assault from an individual who has not been located or apprehended. The safety of our employees and of the mail they deliver to you is our highest concern. Until we can ensure the safety of both, delivery services will remain suspended.”

The actions comes from one publicized incident where a mail carrier was attacked by a resident with a broomstick. The carrier was slightly injured but never went to the hospital and didn’t press charges.

The Santa Monica Police Department said they never had any reports of a mail carrier being assaulted. When confronted about that, the postmaster said that he cannot discuss it and just continued on with the suspension of service.

The post office has a lot of reasons not to publicize attacks on mail carriers:

  • Could be political.
  • Could be the post office doesn’t want the bad press.
  • Could be for civil lawsuits (a coverup).
  • There could be union reasons.

But, to go to this extent as not to deliver mail, one has to think there is far more assaults of postal carriers than is being let on.

But, to make a bigger point, this shows you what happens when a city does not take crime seriously.

Another Example of Ignoring Reality

There is an article in the news site The Inquirer called To end fatphobia, we need to dismantle Western civilization, says Philly therapist by fat person and therapist Sonalee Rashatwar. This is something that is not as extreme as the trans thing or the CRT thing but it is being pushed in schools.

I remember making a comment about a heavy person running up a hill and I said she should keep chugging. This triggered something in Josie’s kid and she said, “That’s fatphobic”. Then, we got into a big debate.

The first three paragraphs of the article discuss how she got out of an abusive relationship and started counseling abused women. That’s all great, good for her. Than she goes to the dark side.

As the fat-positivity movement has gained momentum, so, too, have debates around how fat folks should lead healthy lives. Rashatwar, though, considers how sizeism is affected by racism, misogyny, classism, homophobia, transphobia, and ableism, and she counsels people against intentional weight loss.

Some things:

  • This is bad writing. The first three paragraphs had nothing to do with fat people and then she just jumps into this.
  • She also talks about “sizeism” as if it were as bad as racism.
  • “Sizeism” isn’t a thing. Obesity is. But she’s already trying to change reality.
  • She’s a crappy therapist if she’s trying to convince people not to lose weight.

Continuing:

She pointed to the work of the artist-activist Ashleigh Shackelford, who has written that wearing clothes from the boys’ section growing up, when many items for girls didn’t fit, altered how Shackelford experienced gender. Rashatwar, who noted that people may perceive feminine bodies as more masculine if they’re fat, feels similarly about her upbringing. Being big and being the eldest child, she said, made her feel less like a girl growing up.

Some things:

  • So we learn here she is big and she’s insecure about it.
  • We also learn that she has identity issues by the fact that she thinks she might be a boy.
  • But the main point here is made: It is not about how I am physically, it’s about how I feel.
  • She also talks about how she has a huge Instagram following where she spouts this crap. This is dangerous.

Continuing:

Rashatwar traces contemporary fatphobia to colonial brutality and how enslaved people were treated. Citing researcher-advocate Caleb Luna, Rashatwar said curing anti-fatness would mean dismantling society’s foundation: “I love to talk about undoing Western civilization because it’s just so romantic to me.”

Does this sound like a woman who’s is concerned with the physical well-being? Or does it sound like some nutty, Leftist, anti-American activist.

 

Trauma

“What some folks think is trauma is like the event itself that happened, like the car accident that I got into is the trauma. But that’s the event. What trauma is, is what gets stuck in my body. And the way that I react when I’m in a car in the future and it stops really quickly. That’s a trauma response.

“And so when we internalize fatphobia and we really, like, personalize a fat, traumatic experience, it can impact our sexuality by making it uncomfortable to receive a hug because we feel like, ‘The person hugging me is probably so repulsed by touching my body. Let’s just get the hug over with quickly.’

“Even though sometimes we’re starved for skin touch. Some of the fat clients that I work with, the only time when people touch their bodies is when they pay for a massage or when they’re paying for Reiki or some other kind of somatic body work. And that can feel devastating when that’s the only time that someone’s affectionately, lovingly, caringly touching your body.”

Some things:

  • Being heavy is not traumatic.
  • Going through experiences that normal people go through (skinny or fat) is not trauma.
  • It may hurt emotionally but it’s not trauma.
  • To me, to consider this trauma, this shows how week-willed and emotionally damaged this woman is.
  • I would say she needs counseling and to lose a few pounds.

 

Self-Worth and Sexual Interactions

“When we teach someone to experience shame based on your body, whether it’s about race, body size, disability, and we internalize that shame, we internalize this sense of our body having less self-worth than other bodies.

“When we internalize a low self-worth and our body having less value, we might be less likely to experience pleasure within a sexual relationship or to ask for the type of touch we want and don’t want within a romantic relationship. Or to be able to even stop a sexual encounter when we want it to stop.”

Some things:

  • Again, the see emotional weakness with this woman.
  • She also projects victimhood as a rape victim (which is sexism) with having a consensual sexual relationship. Does this sound normal?
  • I also want to point out that one way to experience sexual satisfaction is to be physically fit.

 

On Being an Instagram Therapist

“It’s super-overwhelming sometimes because with so many followers on Instagram, it feels like there’s a pressure to produce content all the time. And I feel like I need to be putting out something new and super profound. Like no one’s ever heard of this concept, every day. But I don’t do that because that’s so overwhelming. A lot of folks will reach out into my DMs and ask really personal questions.

“It’s also really gratifying. So when I post really, really political and radical content where I’m talking about like being anti-cop, anti-U.S. government, anti-military folks are like, ‘Whoa, I’ve never heard these ideas before.’ ”

This is why kids shouldn’t be on social media. That’s where this poison is spread.

 

Pushing for Better Health Access

“[An] almost universal collective fat traumatic experience is like going to the doctor, and how BMI and the body mass index scale is used universally to categorize and pathologize bodies based on fatness. One really important macro way that we would have to undo fatphobia would be to finally get rid of BMI, to not use it for insurance purposes. Because people who are of my BMI category and up are denied insurance coverage, are denied lifesaving procedures and medication, are denied gender affirmation surgery, are denied all kinds of things that we deserve access to — fertility treatments and IVF.

“That’s one really big macro way that I could think of. Because BMI has already been debunked.”

Some things:

  • Obesity is a major cause of health issues including:
    • Heart disease.
    • Diabetes.
    • High blood pressure.
    • Stroke.
    • Gallbladder disease.
    • Joint problems such as osteoarthritis and musculoskeletal discomfort.
    • Breathing problems, such as asthma and sleep apnea.
    • Heck, it was considered a comorbidity for the China virus.
    • All this is from the CDC
  • Doctors are being made villains here for calling out obesity. Pointing out health problems is their job.
  • BMI is also still valid. It has not been debunked.
    • The CDC, the Mayo Clinic and other institutions still use it.
    • The link this article uses is not from WebMD.com. It was from a far Leftist site called fivethirtyeight.com.

 

The Fat Word

“I always respect the language that people want to use. Even when I’m working with a client, I’ll ask. I’ll say, ‘I’m comfortable with using the word fat, but if there’s another word that you’d like to use, I’d be more than happy to use that.’ And so sometimes, I have clients willing to use a word like fluffy, or curvy, or even plus-size. And that’s fine. I’m happy to use different language, but I will challenge and I will ask, What is it? Where are, like, the genetic memories attached to the charge of this word? Because the word itself doesn’t have to be emotionally charged. But there’s stuff there that we should explore together.”

I actually agree with her here. When I refer to myself, I say I’m fat. I would never use that word when I refer to someone else even when he’s not around. Not because of fatphobia but because it’s rude. I will usually refer to someone as “heavy” or “big”.

 

What I Think

This is another example of the Left ignoring science and reality their inner harmony. Or, as I like to say, their narcissism.

I’ll go a step further. This woman doesn’t like obese people. If she did, she’d want them to get healthier. She doesn’t. She wants them to continue living and unhealthy lifestyle, encouraging the obese not to lose weight, and die early.

Episode 519 – It’s Blasting So High, Inflation Should Have a Countdown

The new inflation numbers are out and it’s not looking good.

A very ugly story that shows the disintegration of our society.

And Ketengi Jackson Brown is a Supreme Court justice but the Washington Post is all butt-hurt about her treatment by Republicans.

 

The Disaster Continues

Jen Psaki tried to prepare us for the inflation numbers which came out today. Here she is:

Well, she right about everything except that Putin did all this.

The economy continues to be a disaster:

  • The consumer price index (CPI) leapt 8.5% from a year ago, according to Labor Department data released Tuesday.
  • Taking out food and energy, the CPI still increased by 6.5%.
  • The soaring inflation has not been seen since the late 1970s, when Carter was president, and the early ’80s, after Ronald Reagan took over.
  • CNBC reported: “Price increases came from many of the usual culprits.
    • Food rose 1% for the month and 8.8% over the year.
    • Energy prices were up 11% and 32% respectively,
    • While shelter cost, which make up about one-third of the CPI weighting, increased another 0.5% on the month, making the 12-month gain a blistering 5%.”
  • Just to be clear, inflation has been moving upward for the last year.
    • January 2021 — 1.4%
    • February — 1.7%
    • March — 2.6%
    • April — 4.2%
    • May — 5.0%
    • June — 5.4%
    • July — 5.4%
    • August — 5.3%
    • September — 5.4%
    • October — 6.2%
    • November — 6.8%
    • December — 7.0%
    • January 2022 — 7.5%
    • February — 7.9%
    • March — 8.5%
  • Putin attack Ukraine in February.
  • Gas prices went from $2.33 to $4.10 a gallon, up 43%.
  • Other costs that have risen since last year:
    • The cost of meat, poultry, fish and eggs is 13% higher since February 2021.
    • Fresh fruit has gone up 10.6% in price in that time.
    • Vegetables has remained much more stable, increasing just 4.3%.
    • The price of pre-packaged cereals and baked goods has increased 7.7%.

Where’s the Due Process with This Story?

This is a disgusting story.

According to the Washington Post:

After several unsuccessful attempts to conceive a baby through in vitro fertilization, a Massachusetts couple learned last year that they were expecting a baby girl, court records state.

Months into the pregnancy, their obstetrician recommended the mother undergo genetic testing to rule out abnormalities. The baby was okay, court records state, but the test results revealed something the couple never saw coming: There was a zero percent probability the couple — identified only as Jane and John Doe — were the biological parents.

Specialists at the New York Fertility Institute, which they had paid for the IVF procedure, repeatedly assured the couple that the test was not a problem and that they were, in fact, the biological parents, court records state.

The doctors first allegedly claimed the test was inaccurate before diagnosing the mother with a rare condition, saying her body contained two sets of DNA.

But the parents worried the test was accurate — that they weren’t the parents and that the clinic had transferred a stranger’s embryo into the woman’s uterus. Fearing the emotional toll of a potential custody battle once the baby was born, the couple chose to terminate the six-month pregnancy days before it would have been illegal to do so, according to court records.

Notice, they didn’t want a custody battle when they had the baby and they didn’t even know if it wasn’t their baby and instead of dealing with it, they just killed the baby just before the six month gestation time.

Now, the couple is suing the New York Fertility Institute, embryologist Michael Femi Obasaju, and fertility specialists Khalid Sultan and Majid Fateh for allegedly impregnating the mother-to-be with a stranger’s embryo. They also accuse the clinic of losing Jane Doe’s embryos and failing to disclose whether those were implanted into a stranger, potentially giving away their biological child, according to a lawsuit filed last month in the U.S. Southern District Court of New York.

In the lawsuit, the couple also alleges the clinic and all three doctors purposefully covered up that Obasaju “has a history of mistakenly implanting a stranger’s embryo into the wrong patient.”

“Each of these errors have caused Mr. and Ms. Doe incomprehensible physical and emotional pain and suffering and, ultimately, when the errors were discovered, led to a termination of Ms. Doe’s pregnancy,” the lawsuit states.

Oh, so these two are suffering pain both physically and emotionally. What about the six month old baby? A baby that can feel pain? A baby that could actually survive outside the womb (remember, the youngest baby born and survived is 19 weeks.

These two want to profit off the death of a baby. They don’t deserve to be parents.

This is Awesome

According to The Guardian:

By 11am on opening day at Portland’s The Sports Bra, billed as the world’s first sports bar showing only women’s sports, a bustling queue had already filled the sidewalk. While members of the Pride Cheerleading Association shook pompoms in the parking lot, dozens of women – fans and athletes alike – waited to grab a seat and reach a milestone together.

Just an FYI, the Pride Cheerleading Association is a tragedy for the bar. More on that is a pro-BLM, pro-LGBTQWXYZ;#@%^~ group. This could be tragic. More on that later.

“I actually got emotional and cried when I walked in,” said Leslie Melin, who sat at the bar with a signature cocktail. “I’m so proud to be here.”

I couldn’t find much on Leslie Melin. All I know is she works for Pacific University as an associate principle. Her expertise is planning and design architecture. Here’s a little hint about her: She puts her pronouns in her bio (she/her). I am losing hope for this bar.

The Sports Bra, which opened its doors in Oregon on 1 April, seeks to address a glaring gender imbalance in sports coverage. Although 40% of professional athletes are female, women’s sports make up only 4% of all sports media coverage, according to a Unesco study on gender equality.

Ugh! Unesco is a “United Nations laboratory of ideas”. What’s that? I have no idea. All I know it couldn’t have anything to say about the United States because the United Nation hates the United States.

By the way, did you know the United States paid $11 billion to be part of the United Nations?

“Our approach is to take that 4% that is showing and put it on blast,” said Jenny Nguyen, the bar’s founder and owner.

  • A $100K was raised for marketing to get the bar going.
  • Leah Hinkle, owner of the Oregon Ravens, an all female football team, said:

    “Hardly anyone knows the history of women’s football. But equity isn’t just about divvying up screen time. Equity is about having what you need to succeed. Women’s sports need a movement and The Sports Bra is making a statement.”

    • There’s a reason. No one watches women’s football unless they are wearing bikinis. You know why? Women’s football sucks.

Yet for years, The Sports Bra would remain a running joke among Nguyen and her friends. Whenever they found themselves frustrated by the lack of representation of women’s sports, they’d return to the safe space in their imagination and curate a playlist of games and even menu ideas.

Eventually, as Nguyen faced a period of personal frustration marked by the Covid-19 pandemic and George Floyd’s murder, her girlfriend suggested she turn her dream of The Sports Bra into a reality.

Ugh. So a lesbian opened up a bar that is going to be woke. Such a tragedy.

OK, I have positive things and negative things to say about this. I’ll go through the positive first and then get into why this bar will fail.

The positive:

  • This is a great idea. It is filling a niche.
  • Their ideas are honorable and they are addressing something they feel strongly about. Good for them.
  • There will be women who go to the bar. Men like women so men will show up at the bar. It could make money.
  • This also shows the awesomeness of capitalism and innovation.

Here’s why it’s not going to work:

  • Nobody likes women’s sports. Have you ever been to a WNBA game? There are like 500 people there.
  • I like watching women’s soccer but that’s because I like watching soccer. In reality, it is like watching snails crawl across a table. It’s slow and boring.
  • They are woke. They support BLM and LGBTQ crap. Any white men who would show up (and there are a lot of them in Portland would be demonized. Especially if they’re straight and white.
  • By the way, most of Portland is white men.

Oh, Really…

The Washington Post released an article called KJB’s Confirmation Fight Shows How the Supreme Court Must Change by the Editorial Board. It is an incredibly twisted article.

“It is hard to find the words to express the depth of my gratitude,” soon-to-be Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson declared at the White House on Friday. Her gracious acknowledgment of her ascent to the nation’s highest court follows what, in today’s light, might be called a normal Senate confirmation. And that’s precisely the problem: Her 53-to-47 confirmation vote was an unjustifiable partisan slap at the nation’s first Black female Supreme Court justice — and a sign of how off the rails judicial confirmations have become.

Unlike in other recent confirmations, there were no questions regarding her character or temperament, and no procedural chicanery in the Senate. Judge Jackson’s ascension to the high court should have been free of controversy. Some Republicans concocted absurd smears about her record to justify opposing her; others acknowledged her qualifications but complained that she probably would not rule the way they preferred — which is not the standard that has traditionally been applied to nominees.

Some things:

  • Yes, there were questions about her qualifications.
  • She has been an activist throughout her career.
  • They asked her about her record on very light sentences for pedophiles and child rapists.
  • She couldn’t answer what a woman is. I hardly think she was free from controversy.
  • Republicans didn’t concoct anything. They quoted her.

This reflexive tendency by the opposition to deny a president a chance to fill judicial vacancies has become a new norm. And it is unlikely to end, absent intentional reforms. Easiest would be adjusting confirmation proceedings, such as Senate Judiciary Committee hearings. Rather than force nominees to endure marathon grilling sessions, senators could consider letting them answer questions over more days. Instead of allowing grandstanding lawmakers to attack nominees without limit or consequence, perhaps they should be confined to asking only questions that are relevant to the proceedings.

Some things:

  • Hmm, a reflexive tendency by the opposition to deny the president a chance to fill a vacancy?
  • Grandstanding by the opposition?
  • And who started this attacking of nominees.
    • Robert Bork was denied during the Reagan administration because he told the Senate how he would vote. He told the truth.
    • Clarence Thomas was accused, the evidence being an iffy story from a collogue, of being a sexual harasser.
    • Amy Coney Barratt was accused of belonging to a cult (she’s a Catholic) and being a racist for adopting two Haitian kids.
    • Brett Kavanaugh was accused of being a drunk, a rapist and arranging gang rape rings.
    • Do you remember Ruth Bader Ginsberg having to go through this? Do you remember Kentenji Brown Jackson going through this?

For a time, a group of centrist senators made a pact to vote as a bloc for all reasonable nominees, regardless of which president nominated them. Those few senators still interested in repairing the tattered confirmation process should resurrect this strategy.

A more enduring and effective change would be imposing term limits on federal judges, of perhaps 18 years, and spreading out vacancies so that each president gets to make a predictable number of appointments. This would dramatically reduce the stakes of any single Supreme Court pick and limit the element of chance when vacancies arise that could tip the court’s ideological balance.

Moreover, term limits would cut the pressure presidents feel to pick young ideologues for the court or to select only judges with similar pedigrees. More people of more varying experience would be considered to serve. Supreme Court precedent would be less likely to reflect the idiosyncratic preferences of one or two justices. And term limits would guard against justices experiencing mental decline on the bench.

I, 100% agree with this.

This idea is neither new nor without complications. Some scholars argue it would require a constitutional amendment. Safeguards would have to be crafted to prevent judges from timing their retirements to give presidents of their preferred parties extra picks. And rules might have to be drafted to prevent former judges from taking big paydays at private companies after leaving the court. But these challenges do not eliminate the reform’s appeal. What is clear is this: Things cannot continue on their current, corrosive trajectory.

This is true. The Founding Fathers did discuss this. It’s in the Federalist papers. But they also discussed putting term limits on everyone. But they decided against it because the President, Congress and the Supreme Court justices weren’t paid. It was believed back then that people would not want to become career politicians. George Washington didn’t seek a third term, which he would have easily won, because his business was suffering and he needed to get back to it.

But then Congress gave everyone a salary. Now, we have a mess.

What happens when a crisis goes against the narrative? Let’s talk about the Sacramento mass shooting.

 

Never Let a Good Crisis Go to Waste

A tragedy occurred in Sacramento, California last weekend. Of course, there is a narrative that could be wound around it by the Leftists. As usual, it is another story that was actually created by bad Leftist policy. Let’s take a look at it.

According to the The Sacramento Bee:

Six people were killed and 12 others were injured in a mass shooting in downtown Sacramento early Sunday, transforming a section of the city normally teeming with nightlife into a horrific crime scene of blood, shattered glass and grieving relatives. The death toll, and the number of wounded, made the bloodbath in the vicinity of 10th and K streets the worst mass shooting in Sacramento’s history.

Here’s what happened:

  • The shooting happened just after 2 a.m in an area with a bunch of dance clubs.
  • There was a a large fight that started among multiple people.
  • The suspects started shooting at each other.
  • The shootout took place in a 2 by 4 block radius, so this was a huge fight.
  • There were hundreds of rounds fired.
  • Here’s what the police didn’t know:
    • How many shooters there were.
    • Why the shooting took place.
    • Whether the shooting was targeted or indiscriminate.
    • Who the shooters were.

Needless to say, it is hard to really report on anything about this shooting or come up with any conclusions, right? It took 18 hours before police even removed the bodied because they had no idea what was happening. They were collecting videos from phones to get clues.

But this doesn’t stop the media from going off.

 

The Narrative.

The first narrative is that this was a mass shooting. This does fall under the definition of a mass shooting but most people think of one person who is pissed off at someone and then just starts shooting. This wasn’t the case here. At all.

Of course then the media spit out how there are 12,000 mass shootings in the United States this year. That’s an exaggeration. But they did say there were around 120 mass shootings. Of course, when you look at each of case, one one would shrug at whether or not that case would be a mass shooting. For example, a father got into a fight with his in laws, shot them (they survived) and then shot a police officer in the leg (he survived) and was arrested. This is considered a mass shooting. Gang violence, including drive-by shootings, is considered a mass shooing.

Why does this matter? Because there is a big difference between some nut job taking out 10 people versus a gang member  shooting at other gang members and hitting innocent people. With the nut job, it is hard to argue against gun control (sort of). With the gang member, no so much.

The media went off on gun control. President Biden said he is going to sign an executive order limiting ghost guns and magazine sizes. California is looking at implementing an additional 100 laws restricting guns. Mind you, California has some of the most strict rules on guns second only to New York.

CNN, MSNBC, the AP, New York Times, the Washington Post all had articles about how “gun violence” is a disease in this country. Even the Sacrament Kings head coach, Steve Kerr, said we need some “common sense” gun control. Of course, no one defines what “common sense” gun control is. My guess it’s banning all guns.

This is what they were talking about all Sunday and half of Monday. Then, it just stopped.

 

The Truth

The Post Millennial revealed:

On Tuesday, Sacramento police arrested 27-year-old Smiley Martin, who remains in the hospital for injuries he sustained during the shooting, and faces charges of possession of a machine gun and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.

  • Martin has a lengthy criminal record.
    • Robbery.
    • Carrying illegal firearms.
    • Lying to police.
    • Resisting arrest.
  • In 2017 he was given a 10 year sentence for beating his “girlfriend” within an inch of her life.
    • They were fighting and she ran out of the apartment they were in.
    • He followed her to the street and beat her.
    • She ran back into the apartment and followed.
    • In the apartment, he beat her again.
    • He dragged her by the hair and put her in his car and beat her again with a belt.
  • He applied for parole in 2021 and the parole board recommended he stay in prison because of his violent nature and he would offend again.
  • He was released a year later after serving only four years.
  • He was a gang member and got into some argument with rival gang members and that’s when the shooting started.

Oh, I forgot, he is black. Now do you see why the media stopped reporting this?

Now, let’s take a look at the shooting itself:

  • The people he was shooting at were black.
  • He was illegally carrying a gun (felons can’t carry firearms).
  • The gun was modified to make it an automatic. That’s illegal.
  • He was out on parole serving less than half of his sentence even though the parole board said he should stay in prison because he is violent and would commit more crimes.

The system failed in this one. Gun control would have done nothing to stop this. Instead of pointing to the real problem; which are gangs, crime and a loose justice system, it is better to just ignore it.

Do you know who knows that? Sacramento County District Attorney Anne Marie Schubert. She was on the Lawrence Jones’ show this weekend on Fox News and she had some really common sense things to say. She had written a letter to keep Smiley Martin in prison. Here’s what she said:

Do Something NOW!

Because of this crime in Sacramento, Democrats have been saying that ghost guns are the primary reason for gun violence. A ghost gun is defined as a gun that is put together from a kit and has no serial numbers. But there’s a problem. The government defines ghost guns as weapons with no traceable serial numbers. The government claims that there were 24,000 ghost guns recovered.

So what is the problem? The government considers a gun which had its serial number scraped off. In other words, a criminal makes a non-ghost gun into a ghost gun. That’s illegal. That report of 24,000 ghost guns doesn’t discuss the number of guns that were acquired and built from kits.

I also want to point out that California, where the “mass” shooting takes place, already the most restrictive gun control policies and requires the serialization of legally obtained kits to create a ghost gun.

This rule has been in the works for months, but the Left is getting impatient. Chuck Schumer said in a statement:

“It’s high time for a ghost gun exorcism before the proliferation peaks and before more people get hurt — or worse. My message is a simple one: No more waiting on these proposed federal rules.” Ghost guns are “too easy to build, too hard to trace and too dangerous to ignore.”

Do you notice the answer for everything to a Leftist is to take things away? Take away free speech. Take away our freedom to assemble. Take away our ability to go to church. Take away our money. Take away our businesses. Take away our guns (which is God-given and is used to protect all of the above).

Here’s what the rule is going to address:

  • Change the current definition of a firearm under federal law to include unfinished parts, like the frame of a handgun or the receiver of a long gun.
  • Require manufacturers and dealers who sell ghost gun parts to be licensed by the federal government and require federally licensed firearms dealers to add a serial number to any unserialized guns they plan to sell.
  • Require firearms dealers to run background checks before they sell ghost gun kits that contain parts needed to assemble a firearm.

There is some pushback.

  • Republicans are stating that Joe Biden cannot just create a rule limiting gun ownership. It’s a Congressional job and then even that is limited because of the second amendment.
  • Gun advocates plan to sue and will probably win to stop this.

Episode 517 – Cracker Jacks Solves the Problem

Texas is leading the fight against Biden open border policy and making some rather unique moves.

The House tries to pass a bill legalizing weed.

And the problem of equality for women has been solved.

 

Great Move

Texas is leading the fight against the Biden administration which plans to end Title 42 in May. Listen to the Texas governor Gregg Abbott and his plan to take care of business.

Some things:

  • This is brilliant. Make Washington D.C. into more of a crap hole than it already is.
  • Though Title 42 really is something that is going to have to end, Biden has:
    • Ended the Remain in Mexico policy.
    • Has been reassigning Border Patrol to other jobs, leaving the border undermanned.
    • He has also been demonizing the Border Patrol. Remember that little horse incident?
    • He has been letting illegal aliens stay in the country and has been letting them loose in states like Florida, Louisiana and Florida. Do you see a pattern?
  • Texas is also doing other things to secure the border.
    • Setting up safety inspection vehicles at the border to check for human trafficking. This will slow the traffic crossing the border.
    • Blockades are being deployed.
    • Razor wire is being deployed.
    • Boat blockades are being deployed in the Rio Grand river.

By the way, none of this is the state’s responsibility. Protecting the government is the responsibility of the federal government and they are failing. Or, if you think like I do that this is on purpose, than they are succeeding.

Be prepared for another crisis in June because a lot of these plans Texas is implementing aren’t working. We are now averaging 7000 a day crossing the border. That’s the highest it’s been this year.

 

Speaking of Encouraging Illegal Aliens

I’m sure Jen Psaki is counting the days to get out of her job. Peter Doocy just keeps wrecking her. I bet a dollar this gal swallows Prozac like it was M&Ms.

The Biden administration is not giving illegal aliens “burner” phones. They’re not giving them Nokia brick cell phones. They are giving them Apple iPhones.

They say they are doing this because the location services allow the government to keep track of them. Yeah, of course, until their court date gets close and they throw away the cell phone. What a waste of money and what an incentive to come to the United States illegally.

But one thing she did say was that the smart phones had location services that can be monitored, they had facial recognition and voice recognition apps that could identify the individual on the other end. Does that sound familiar (hint: China)?

I’m not sure I’m comfortable with our government using this type of technology especially with how tyrannical our tech businesses are.

But No Cigarettes

Last week, the House of Representatives passed a bill that would make marijuana legalized across the nation.

  • The vote went 220-204 gaining a yay vote from some Republicans.
  • the bill would:
    • Take marijuana off of the list of controlled substances.
    • Add an 8% federal tax on purchases.
    • Allow some convictions on cannabis charges to be expunged.
    •  Press for sentencing reviews at the federal and state levels.
  • Regarding small business loans, the bill stated that the administrator of the Small Business Administration “shall establish and carry out a program, to be known as the ‘Cannabis Restorative Opportunity Program’, to provide loans and technical assistance…to assist small business concerns owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals that operate in eligible States or localities.”
  • It also stated that the administrator will create and operate a grant program called the “‘Equitable Licensing Grant Program,’ to provide any eligible State or locality funds to develop and implement equitable cannabis licensing programs that minimize barriers to cannabis licensing and employment for individuals adversely impacted by the War on Drugs…”
    • Basically, make it that criminal drug dealers can deal again legally.
  • The Washington Post reported: “It also would provide for the expungement of federal marijuana convictions dating to 1971 and bars the denial of federal public benefits or security clearances on the basis of marijuana offenses.”
    • It was illegal in 1971. The criminals knew what they were doing in 1971 was illegal. Why do they now get a pass?
    • I don’t want any stoner to have a security clearance.
  • Republicans who voted for the bill were Representatives Matt Gaetz (FL), Brian Mast (FL), and Tom McClintock (CA).
    • This isn’t that much a surprise. These guys are probably more libertarian in philosophy.
    • I’m surprised that only these three Republicans voted for it.
  • Democrats are framing the legislation as one that promotes “racial justice.” 

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (CA) said:

“This landmark legislation is one of the most important criminal justice reform bills in recent history.”

Representative Barbara Lee (D-CA) said:

“Make no mistake: Yes, it is a racial justice bill. According to the ACLU, Black Americans are nearly four times more likely to be arrested for cannabis and related crimes than White Americans, despite equal rates of use. These arrests can have a detrimental impact on a person’s quality of life and can lead to difficulty finding employment, securing housing and accessing other benefits.”

Jerry Nadler said:

“(This bill) would set a new path forward and would begin to correct some of the injustices of the last 50 years. Whatever one’s views are on the use of marijuana for recreational or medicinal use, the policy of arrests, prosecution, and incarceration at the federal level has proven both unwise and unjust.”

Of course, Conservative Republicans who didn’t vote for the bill like to point out the problem. Rep. Jim Jordan said:

“The left will not let the Democrats do what needs to be done with the inflation problem, the energy problem, the illegal immigration problem on the southern border. So what do they do? They legalize drugs. Wow.”

He added, “This is wrong and everybody knows it. … Let’s focus on the things that matter.”

Of course he’s absolutely right. The good news is this is not going to get through the Senate which the House knows. So that kind of puts an exclamation point on Jordan’s point.

 

What I Think

I’m against drug legalization for a few reasons:

  • Drugs like pot, crack, even alcohol really serve no purpose in society if used for medicinal purposes.
    • I do believe pot had medicinal purposes and should be allowed to be prescribed by a real doctor.
    • Once a drug is legalized, it is impossible to make it illegal again. Cigarettes and alcohol are examples of this.
  • It makes society dumber and lazier. What happened in Colorado is an example of that.
  • There are a lot of misconceptions about pot.
    • It is a gateway drug.
    • It is addictive.
    • It is worse for people than cigarettes.
      • It contains more nicotine.
      • It burns hotter than cigarettes making it worse for the lungs.

According to WebMD, the side effects of long term pot smoking will lead to:

  • Altered brain development in younger people (age 25).
  • Lower IQ.
  • Less satisfaction and achievement.
  • Symptoms of chronic bronchitis, and increased rates of respiratory infections and pneumonia.
  • Chronic psychotic disorders, including schizophrenia, in people who are predisposed to them.
  • Experts have linked regular marijuana use to higher risks of anxiety and depression.
  • An increased heart rate for up to three hours after smoking, raising risks of heart attack.
  • Temporary hallucinations and paranoia.
  • It’s been linked to lung and testicular cancers.

This is what the pro-pot politicians aren’t telling you. But, like Jordan said, if they can keep us all stoned, we won’t see the crappy job they are doing and will be dumb enough to accept how crappy our country is becoming.

Episode 516 – Our Civilization Cannot Survive This

The chosen one comes to the White House to save Sleepy, Creepy Joe but it looks like it might have made things worse.

Nature seems to hate environmentalists.

And the most harrowing story, probably of the year, is just being ignored.

 

Really Pathetic

Joe Biden is really struggling in the polls. The country is a mess, we are verging on a world war and Democrats are looking to get walloped in November. The last time numbers were this bad, Democrats lost 60 seats in the House and Senate.

So Joe has to do something. Or his handlers have to do something. So, they bring back the Chosen One, Barrack Obama. And, boy, were the press excited.

When Obama started his speech, he made a joke. Here it is:

You knew that was coming. Not funny at all. I wish Old Joe was Vice President right now.

They brought Barrack in to sign another executive order about the Affordable Care Act. They also announced they were expanding it. Wow. Expanding something that was done 9 years ago (and it didn’t work well). Is Joe hoping that resurrecting something Obama did by introducing it with Obama is going to improve his standing right now? Is Old Joe completely out of ideas to get himself out of his unpopularity? I have some ideas, give me a call.

Well, it won’t help Old Joe. In fact, it’s probably going to have the opposite effect.

  • This set up had a look of desperation. This administration has no idea what to do so bring back Obama so that people get some sweet memories in their minds. Problems is:
    • Obama wasn’t that great a President. Trump beat his Secretary of State.
    • This little get together was way to far before the elections. It will be forgotten.
  • Barrack Obama focused on himself the entire time.
    • He said “I” and “me” a total of 33 times.
    • When Obama leaves the White House, we’re just going to see Old Joe and all of the problems will be back.
  • There was a huge contrast on the way the speak.
  • Barrack Obama was never as popular as the media makes it.
    • Yes, he won every election he ran in.
    • He lost Congress when he was President.
    • He backed with Stacey Abrams and she lost.
    • He backed Terry McAuliffe and he also got killed.

But the worst look came at the end when Biden was walking around alone. No one would talk with him, Obama was ignoring him and he looked lost. He looked like a kid at a party in which he knows no one.

Even Animals Hate Them

With all the protection of the environment, you’d think nature would like Democrats. Apparently that’s not the case.

A red fox was running around the Congressional building and attacked Democratic representative Ami Bera of California.

Bera said:

“I didn’t see it and all of a sudden I felt something lunge at the back of my leg. I jumped and got my umbrella.”

Disgusting

A whistleblower in Washington DC turned over the bodies of five aborted fetuses. What is terrifying about this story is it looks like these children were at an age way beyond the legal limits for abortion. It also looks like these babies went through partial birth abortion.

I say, “they look like” because pictures of the babies are online. I wish everyone could see this pictures.

A OB/GYN, Dr. Kendra Kolb, reviewed the pictures and described what she saw.

Baby boy one was is estimated that Baby Boy #1 is about 30-32 weeks, said that Baby Boy #1 “appears to have been delivered mostly intact without evidence of dismemberment, and as such, it is difficult to say how his life was ended.”

A medical professional looking at the photos says of baby girl 1:

“There appears to be an incision at the base of the skull, and the head has been decompressed by removing the brain. This is consistent with an Intact D&E or D&X. If the baby was alive at the start of this procedure, it would be considered a Partial Birth Abortion and would be illegal.”

Kolb agreed that Baby Girl #1 appears to be between 28-30 weeks, noting “evidence of deep lacerations to the posterior neck which presumably correlates to the method of abortion used to end her life.”

A medical profession described baby girl 2:

“She has been dismembered. Her head has been crushed or possibly decompressed using suction inserted through an incision in the skull. Her skin is macerated, and her tissues appear grey, consistent with death prior to the abortion. She appears completely normal and was aborted using the [dilation and evacuation] technique, also known as dismemberment abortion.”

The baby appears to be between 26 to 28 weeks gestation and that this baby was aborted through a dilation and evacuation dismemberment abortion.

Kolb said:

“She has evidence of both dismemberment of her upper extremity, decapitation, and organ evisceration as the result of this unimaginably brutal procedure.”

It is not possible to determine the sex of Baby X since this baby is still intact in the amniotic sac, Aultman said. It’s also difficult to discern the baby’s gestational age, she said, but the baby is “probably in the late 2nd or early 3rd trimester.”

The associate scholar speculated that Baby X may have been born alive in the amniotic sac and left to die.

The medical professional said:

“An Induction method would have been used for the abortion. Unless this baby was injected with a drug designed to kill prior to the abortion, he or she may very well have been born alive and then left to die. Without rupturing the amniotic sac, it would not have been possible to cut the cord to cause fetal death before the abortion.”

Kolb estimated that Baby X is between 28 weeks and gestational age.

Kolb concluded:

“It is important to note that all of these babies appear to be of a “viable” gestational age. which means that had they been delivered alive at their current developmental stage, they would have had a very good chance of survival outside of the womb with appropriate support.”

“It is also important to note that these babies are pain capable at this point in development, and especially those whose lives were ended by a [dilation and evacuation] abortion would be expected to experience excruciating pain during this barbaric procedure.”

The neonatologist added that it is “beyond horrific and devastating for me as a neonatologist to see these images, as these babies are representative of the very same patient population that I care for.”

“To then see these discarded aborted babies, and even try to imagine what they went through during these horrific abortion procedures is infuriating and devastating beyond words.”

 

Here’s the story:

  • Police recovered the fetal remains on Wednesday in the home of 28-year-old Lauren Handy, a member of Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising (PAAU), a pro-life organization.
  • The police, at the sight of the babies, said they appear to be aborted legally so no investigation will be done concerning the corpses.
  • Instead, the DC police are investigating the woman who turned the body over. They want to know why she had the babies’ bodies.
  • The Washington DC medical examiner refuses to do an autopsy and said the bodies will be incinerated.

Founder of the (PAAU), Terrisa Bukovinac, said:

“We are aware that the Metropolitan Police Department has stated that they do not believe a crime has been committed against these babies under DC law. However, the laws in question are federal laws enforced by the US department of justice.”

Yeah, here’s the thing: the Department of Justice is run by people who love this stuff, support this stuff, hell, even encourage this. Do you think they are going to investigate?

If that doesn’t enrage you enough, here is Assistant Chief of Police, Sean Benedict describing the situation:

If that doesn’t make your blood boil, there’s something wrong with you.

Some things:

  • Lauren Handy is a hero.
    • She didn’t bomb an abortion clinic or kill a doctor.
    • She recovered the bodies of dead babies that were probably killed illegally.
    • Don’t think she’s going to plea to this. She’s going to make this public and go through the trial process to show the brutality of abortion.
    • But, like the trial of convicted baby kill Kermit Gosnell, the media will ignore it like they are ignoring this story.
  • This asshole described dead babies as “items”. Can you think of anything more inhuman than that?
  • How does he know they were aborted in accordance to Washington DC law?
    • Are the Washington DC police doctors?
    • Looking at the pictures, real doctors can’t even tell the sex of one of the babies. The police know better than the doctors?
    • And isn’t it the job of the medical examiner to come to that conclusion?

We cannot survive as a civilization when we see babies discarded like trash and not think twice about it. And, by the way, these are the same people teaching your kids in school.

  • I also want to point out all the stuff we are hearing about Ukraine and how we need to help them. Maybe we should fix ourselves first because this is far more tragic than what’s happening in Ukraine and it’s happening here.

Listen, I do not doubt the evil of a doctor who kills babies who are a month since conception. I have little doubt a doctor would commit an abortion after the legal time period or would commit an illegal partial-birth abortion.

Question: What’s the point of creating laws if they are going to be ignored by law enforcement.

Episode 515 – Wokeness Kills Everything

We are soon going to have a new Supreme Court justice thanks to some Republicans in name only.

The Biden administration continues to make weird things its priority.

And corporations continue to go woke. Can they survive.

 

I Guess the Woman Thing Isn’t a Thing

Ketanji Brown Jackson’s Supreme nomination is not going that great but it looks like she’s going to get confirmed by a narrow margin.

She has been met with massive backlash from Republicans over her:

  • Leftist activism.
  • Her work with terrorists at Guantanamo Bay.
  • Her light sentences of those who committed sex crimes and child porn.
  • Well, her light sentences of crime in general.
  • Her support for critical race theory.
  • And the fact that she couldn’t define what a woman is.

The vote to forward her nomination to the Senate floor by the Senate Judiciary Committee ended up deadlocked at 11-11. Chuck Schumer is pushing to have her confirmed on the Senate floor on Monday night.

Meanwhile, three RINOs have decided to vote for her. Mitt Romney,  Lisa Murkowski and Susan Collins said they were going to vote for her. All three are jerkoffs in my opinion and should be primaried. She’s an obvious activist judge that is going to ignore the Constitution and vote for what helps her Leftist causes.

We seriously need term limits for justices.

Obviously It Was Important Legislation

According to Daily Wire:

Come April, U.S. citizens can choose “X” as their gender on their passport instead of either male or female, after the Biden administration pushed earlier this year for the integration of gender ideology into documentation for international travel. 

Because this is what’s important today.

Jessica Stern, U.S. special diplomatic envoy for LGBTQ rights (yeah, that’s a thing) said:

Humans “do not always fit within a male or female category around the world.”

“The addition of a third gender marker propels the U.S. forward toward ensuring that our administrative systems account for the diversity of gender identity, gender expression and sex characteristics among U.S. citizens.”

Please tell me you already see the problem here.

In June of 2021, Secretary of state, Antoney Blinkin said:

“Most immediately, we will be updating our procedures to allow applicants to self-select their gender as ‘M’ or ‘F’ and will no longer require medical certification if an applicant’s self-selected gender does not match the gender on their other citizenship or identity documents.”

So this administration was worried about this almost a year ago? This was an issue for them?

Let’s see:

  • You have to get your birth certificate, your ID, a picture and fill out a bunch of forms.
  • Call the post office to get an appointment (you know how much fun navigating that phone system is).
  • Drive to the post office and still wait in an hour long line to get to the passport guy.
  • Smile at his stupid jokes while he processes the paperwork and pay $700 to get the thing expediated.
  • Three months later, the state department sends you a letter requesting more information. Mind you, they have no issue clearing your bank account if you’re $5 short on your taxes but they can’t look you up to make sure you’re not a terrorist.
  • 8 months later, the passport shows up (that expediated?) and it’s something that doesn’t identify you correctly and will not be accepted by 99% of the countries in the world because your sex isn’t defined on the passport.

A passport is used so that other countries can identify you. It’s not for making you feel good about yourself. Try pulling out one of those gender X crap in France. They openly say they do not accept any of that LGBTQRSTUVWXYZ:# crap.

Whatever, not my problem.

Anyway, someone did a study on this. No crap, someone did a study. Hey, how about a study on whether masks work or not!

Anyway, UCLA’s School of Law Williams Institute sent out a report. According to the Daily Wire:

The report noted, “We estimate that 1.4% of the nonbinary LGBTQ population in the U.S., or 16,700 people, may request passports with an X gender marker each year. This estimate is based upon current demand for X gender markers on driver’s licenses in states which allow such an option.”

The report explained, “the average number of driver’s licenses with X gender markers issued per year in the 18 states with available data (13,804) was multiplied by 0.425 to create an estimate of how many passports with X gender markers may be requested and issued per year in these states (5,866).”

I bet you the 1.4% is still high.

Setting a Trap for the Mouse

Last week, I think I talked at length about Modern Monetary Theory. I gave a real quick definition of it. Of course that’s not all about the theory. They also talk about replacing shareholder capitalism with stakeholder capitalism.

  • Shareholder capitalism – Shareholder buy stocks in a company and the company takes the responsibility of trying to make a profit so the shareholder make money and continue to buy stock.
  • Stakeholder capitalism –  a system in which corporations are oriented to serve the interests of all their stakeholders. Among the key stakeholders are customers, suppliers, employees, shareholders and local communities.
  • The goal of stakeholder capitalism is not profits but to move society forward.

Problem with stakeholder capitalism, if the stakeholder doesn’t like how you’re moving society forward, they stop buying your product. That pisses off shareholders and the stock goes down.

Here are a couple of examples of how a couple of corporations are more worried about society than their shareholders and this could lead them down a dark road.

 

Disney

This was a story that came out last week and was talked about a lot so I didn’t think I could add more but it is such a sick story that I would be remiss to skip it.

Disney has always been a Leftist company as is every other Hollywood but I didn’t think they were into grooming kids.

A little background:

  • Florida passed the Parental Rights in Education bill that the media dubbed the “Don’t Say Gay” bill.
  • Again the bill only says that teachers can’t insert inappropriate sex education in the curriculum of grades K-3.
  • About 200 radical Disney employees walked out of their jobs in protest. Disney has 70,000 employees.
  • The coward of a CEO, Bob Chapek, protested the bill very vocally and stated that Disney was for teaching sex to grades for K-3.
  • Ron DeSantis told to kick rocks and signed the bill.
  • To protest, they are going to have a pair of lesbian toys kiss in the new Lightyear movie.
  • Before he did that, DeSantis is looking to remove Disney’s ability to manage their own land.

There was an all-hands meeting between Disney employees on Zoom. Investigative reporter, Chris Ruffo, got a tape from the meeting. After listening to these people, you might cancel your Disney+ subscription to protect your kids.

  • She just said the quiet part out loud.
  • She has a gay agenda and Disney was welcoming of it.
  • She makes shows for kids under ten. Why would she have a gay agenda?

  • The odds her two kids identify as something other than their sex are astronomical.
  • I have no idea what a pan sexual is.
  • She is now demanding that 50% of the lead characters be either a person of color (can I say colored person now? Isn’t that the same thing?) or of LGBTQ persuasion.

How do you think this is going to work out for him in the next couple of month? Do you think their subscriptions are going to go up when people find out about their agenda?

I love Disney. I love The Incredibles, Star Wars, Toy Story. But this is too much. I canceled my Disney+ subscription. I’ll live without seeing the Kenobi series.

Good news is wokeness is going to keep my weight down.

The Oreos cookie company has decided to show its wokeness and support the LGBTQ community.

The Oreo Company released a video of a boy coming out as gay to his parents before a family dinner party. The brave lad does this by giving his parent a note. The parents give the note back saying they accept and love him. The commercial ends with grandma walking into the house and the family greeting her with love and everyone is happy.

Wish I was a fly on the wall when grandma finds out sonny likes to puff peters.

Now, you might be wondering why I didn’t play the commercial. That’s because it was in Chinese. Could this company be more woke? Do you think they are actually going to play this video in China?

    • The Twitter stock, seeing the trend, went up 26%.
    • At first, he thought about creating a new platform. But he thought better of it because he’s smart.
  • The Biden administration decided it was time to end Title 42 so be prepared for huge illegal immigration numbers.
    • Title 42 is the law that allowed the United States government to kick out illegal aliens out of the country because of communicable disease.
    • It was started by the Trump administration because of the China virus.
    • It has been estimated that 18,000 a day will illegally cross the border.
      • That 540,000 a month.
      • Over 3 million in two months.
    • Currently, we are taking in between 5000-6000 illegal crossings a day.
    • The administration said the Centers for Disease Control said it was time to end the policy.
      • CDC said it was time to end the policy? When did they start making policy?
      • And what science is this based on?
      • Isn’t Tony Fauci going around saying we may need to implement restrictions again because of the new China virus variants?
    • There has also been an uptick in Russian illegal aliens. This is being questioned as to who is coming into our country.
    • Missouri, Arizona, and Louisiana have filed lawsuits against the Biden administration to stop them from ending Title 42.
  • Jen Psaki, the press secretary, is leaving the White House.
    • She is going to join MSNBC. There’s a shock. At least she won’t have to answer any tough questions.
    • She lasted far longer than I thought she would.
    • There are ethics questions about her negotiating with MSNBC before resigning. So what?
  • The city council of Palm Springs, California, unanimously passed a bill on March 24 to provide $200,000 to DAP Health and Queer Works to design the program and apply for state funding.
    • The idea is the group is to create a plan to give transgender and non-binary people $600-$900 a month for a universal basic income.
    • This was tried before in Stockton, CA and failed. These Leftists never learn.
    • They are requesting money from the state which has allocated $35 million for programs such as these.
    • This is completely unconstitutional.
  • A school nurse in Connecticut was suspended after she revealed on Facebook that an 11-year-old student at her school was on puberty blockers and that other students identified as non-binary without their parents being informed.
    • Kathleen Cataford, 77, posted on Facebook: “Investigate the school system curriculum…CT is a very socially liberal, gender confused state. As a public school nurse, I have an 11yo female student on puberty blockers and a dozen identifying as non-binary, all but two keeping this as a secret from their parents with the help of teachers, SSW [social workers] and school administration. Teachers and SSW are spending 37.5 hours a week influencing our children, not necessarily teaching our children what YOU think is being taught.”
    • This should be investigated and everyone involved in this should not only be fired, but arrested and charged for child endangerment.
  •  China, who have never admitted that people have died in their country over the China virus, is implementing a policy to kill all pets within the homes of China virus infected residents.

Finally Someone is Addressing the Elephant in the Room

Let’s start with this little audio clip from TikTok:

This woman obviously has some emotional problems. I didn’t put this up because I wanted to make fun of her because this is truly sad. The question is why did she put it up. Why in the world do people feel the need to put up every aspect of their lives, even those aspects that make them look insane, onto social media? TikTok is the worst of these platforms.

I have always been anti-social media, especially for kids. The Wall Street Journal has released an article called the TikTok brain explained by Julie Jargon. It talks about the damage that TikTok does to the mind of a child and the behaviors that excess TikTok can do.

The article starts:

Remember the good old days when kids just watched YouTube all day? Now that they binge on 15-second TikToks, those YouTube clips seem like PBS documentaries.

Many parents tell me their kids can’t sit through feature-length films anymore because to them the movies feel painfully slow. Others have observed their kids struggling to focus on homework. And reading a book? Forget about it.

What is happening to kids’ brains?

I do want to point out that TikTok is not the only platform. All social media platforms manipulate behavior including Twitter, Snap Chat, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook. Heck, Facebook has admitted they manipulate their platform to make users addicted.

“It is hard to look at increasing trends in media consumption of all types, media multitasking and rates of ADHD in young people and not conclude that there is a decrease in their attention span,” said Carl Marci, a psychiatrist at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

Links between attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder diagnoses and screen time are subject to debate, since many factors could account for a steady rise in cases. Yet even parents whose children don’t qualify for that medical diagnosis say their kids are more distracted. Emerging research suggests that watching short, fast-paced videos makes it harder for kids to sustain activities that don’t offer instant—and constant—gratification.

I am not going to read the entire article due to its length, but this is why I pay to subscribe to the Wall Street Journal.

Here are the highlights:

  • Studies have been done in China about how TikTok affects people in China by taking brain scans.
    • Rewards centers of the brain are activated.
    • These parts of the brain release hormones that are the same ones that create addiction.
    • The studies were so illuminating to the harm that the app does that China put in restrictions for usage. For example, children under 15 can’t use the app after 9 PM.
  • The brain.
    • Prolonged focus starts at the pre-frontal cortex.
    • Children do not develop their pre-frontal cortex until the age of 25.
    • The pre-frontal cortex develops through practice.
      • Doing homework.
      • Reading.
      • Writing.
      • Even watching a long movie with a real plot.
    • Because TikTok does have videos longer than 10 minutes (it used to be 3 minutes) kids get used to the speedy interactions and get used to that making it harder to concentrate for longer periods of time.
    • This is true. I have seen children that use TikTok scroll through videos and never just stop at one and watch the entire video.
    • We can also see this when children are cruising through television or radio channels. Have you ever told your child to pick a channel and leave it?
  • Dopamine.
    • Dopamine is a neurotransmitter that gets released in the brain when it’s expecting a reward.
    • A flood of dopamine reinforces cravings for something enjoyable, whether it’s a tasty meal, a drug or a funny TikTok video.
    • Cocaine is addictive because it releases loads of Dopamine which creates that short-lived high.
    • Dopamine is also one of the hormones released, along with endorphins, the creates that runner’s high when running long distance.
  • The solutions.
    • Swap screen time for real time.
      • Get outside.
      • Get some exercise.
      • Get together with real people.
    • Practice stopping social media.
      • Kids won’t stop on their own.
      • They need to practice putting down the phone in order to master it.
      • The Jews got this one down because they can’t use electronics on Saturdays.
    • Use management tools.
    • Make sure kids get sleep.
  • I have my own ideas.
    • Don’t give kids a phone in the first place.
      • Buy phones that restrict Internet.
      • Use monitoring tools (that includes key loggers to get passwords). Screw kids right to privacy.
      • If you allow them to use social media, make it that they can only access it on a computer.
    • Don’t allow kids to use social media.

Social media and smart phones are going to be the biggest disaster for our society. Children are developing into self-centered narcissists with the attention spans of crack heads. It is also making our children dumber, anti-social and depressed. Where are our future innovations going to come from if not from our children. China knows this, that’s why they push this social media app in the United States but restrict it for children in China. Don’t be surprised if one will not be able to own a smart phone until the age of 21 when scientists figure out the damage that these phones are doing.

This also shouldn’t be limited to smart phones and TikTok. All social media, tablets, computers, the Internet and video games fall into this issue. I think it’s time to deal with this issue before it’s too late.

Episode 513 – Think Twice Before Doing That Next Pushup

I should talk about this because the Left is saying that no Conservative is talking about it. There’s a reason. It’s because it’s nothing. but here it is.

According to the Washington Post:

Virginia Thomas, a conservative activist married to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, repeatedly pressed White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows to pursue unrelenting efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election in a series of urgent text exchanges in the critical weeks after the vote, according to copies of the messages obtained by The Washington Post and CBS News.

The messages — 29 in all — reveal an extraordinary pipeline between Virginia Thomas, who goes by Ginni, and President Donald Trump’s top aide during a period when Trump and his allies were vowing to go to the Supreme Court in an effort to negate the election results.
So now there’s push to get rid of Clarence Thomas from the Supreme Court. Mind you, this is important. Not that the Supreme Court nominee doesn’t know what a woman is but that the Conservative activist wife of a Supreme Court justice doesn’t like the results of the election.
On Nov.10, Thomas wrote to Meadows:
“Help This Great President stand firm, Mark!!!…You are the leader, with him, who is standing for America’s constitutional governance at the precipice. The majority knows Biden and the Left is attempting the greatest Heist of our History.”
Meadows responded:
“This is a fight of good versus evil. Evil always looks like the victor until the King of Kings triumphs. Do not grow weary in well doing. The fight continues. I have staked my career on it. Well at least my time in DC on it.”
Thomas responded:
“Thank you!! Needed that! This plus a conversation with my best friend just now… I will try to keep holding on. America is worth it!”
That’s it. That’s what the 29 text messages looked like. Meadows turned them in when asked, they were viewed by lawyers and there was nothing more than that. You know what was missing from the text messages? Any mention o Clarence Thomas or the Supreme Court.
Even the Washington Post, which broke the story, spent most of the article talking about January 6th and Trump’s behavior instead of talking much about the texts.
But the lack of any connection Clarence Thomas had to his wife’s rather innocuous work with the Trump administration over the election isn’t stopping Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez from demanding Thomas resign or be impeached.
She said to Axios:
“Consider this: When we pushed for the 1st impeachment of Trump for illegally withholding aid to Ukraine, initially many Dems internally resisted it. We were chastised for being ‘unrealistic,’ that the public wouldn’t be able to follow the plot, and that it would lead nowhere.”
God, she’s dumb.
Trump was cleared during the first sham impeachment. So the impeachment did lead to nowhere. Trump also released the transcript of the conversation with Zelenskyy of Ukraine proving that the conversation was nothing. Finally, the plot of the whole thing wasn’t all that complicated that we stupid people couldn’t follow along.
She continues:

“Often what seems like the righteous yet politically foolish thing short term ends up being the wisest choice long term. In politics, oftentimes the best decisions can also carry greatest risk. All this is to say we shouldn’t dismiss actions available re: Clarence Thomas’ acts.”

“Subpoenas, investigations, and impeachment should absolutely be on the table. We shouldn’t have to think twice about that. We must go where the facts take us. A failure to act puts the imperiling of democracy squarely on *our* shoulders. It’s our duty to defend it.”

This is going nowhere but more wasting of time doing investigations no one is going to cooperate with.

Do You Notice Something?

The pandemic did something else beside destroy the economy. It enriched the pharmaceutical companies and gave the medical community way more credibility than they deserved.

 

This Is Never Going to End

According to the Washington Post:

The Food and Drug Administration authorized a second booster shot of the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna coronavirus vaccines for people 50 and older at least four months after their first booster. The FDA also updated its authorization of additional doses for people 12 and older who are immunocompromised, saying they are eligible for another booster shot — the fifth inoculation for people at heightened peril from the virus.

The shots are not a permanent solution to the pandemic. But with a still-more-transmissible version of the omicron coronavirus variant becoming dominant in the United States, even a short-term immunity boost among those at risk of severe illness could provide a valuable layer of protection.

So, let’s get this straight:

  • We have to get one shot.
  • A month later we have to get a second shot.
  • Six months later, we have to get booster.
  • Four months after that, we have to get another booster.
  • All these shots are being funded by the government.

The pharmaceutical companies are getting rich out of this. They are hoping these shots become a permanent income.

 

Let’s Just Make Up Diseases for More Drugs

The American Psychiatry Association has declared that prolonged grief can now be considered a mental disorder,

According to Yahoo News:

Characterized by incapacitating feelings of grief, prolonged grief disorder happens when a person loses someone close to them (e.g. friend or family member) within at least six months for children and adolescents or within at least 12 months for adults, according to the APA. Typically, the bereaved individual experiences an intense yearning for or preoccupation with the deceased person — so much so that their reactions to the loss preoccupy them almost every day for at least a month.

Got that? You are only allowed to grieve for 12 months before you are considered a nut job.

The article continues:

Their bereavement is considered to last longer than social norms (think: five stages of grief), causing distress or problems functioning in important aspects of their lives, such as socially or occupationally. Other symptoms of prolonged grief disorder include identity disruption (i.e. feeling as if part of yourself has died), a marked sense of disbelief about the death, avoidance of reminders that the person is dead, intense emotional pain, intense loneliness, emotional numbness, or a feeling that life is meaningless, among others, according to the APA.

Here’s a shocker! They have a drug for this called Naltrexone. It’s normally used for drug and alcohol addiction.

We have become a society that is constantly medicating instead of dealing with our problems. We are becoming like Huxley’s Brave New World. That’s why I’m against these shots.

White supremacists’ latest scheme to valorize violence and hypermasculinity has gone digital.

It appears the far right has taken advantage of pandemic at-home fitness trends to expand its decade-plus radicalization of physical mixed martial arts (MMA) and combat sports spaces.

Earlier this month, researchers reported that a network of online “fascist fitness” chat groups on the encrypted platform Telegram are recruiting and radicalizing young men with neo-Nazi and white supremacist extremist ideologies. Initially lured with health tips and strategies for positive physical changes, new recruits are later invited to closed chat groups where far-right content is shared.

A couple of things:

  • Wow, those white supremacists are smart! Going digital!
  • Of course, MMA is racist.
    • MMA is a sport that is Conservative.
    • Joe Rogan is a member of the UFC.
  • Who are these researchers? The Southern Poverty Law Center?
  • If these platforms are encrypted, how did these researchers get the information?

  • All militaries put a emphasis on physical fitness. The Greeks created the Olympics based off that. The marathon was created based off a shoulder running during war.
  • Hand-to-hand combat was the way wars have been fought for far longer than how we fight now. That required physical fitness.
    • The Greeks did it.
    • The Romans did it.
    • The Persians did it.
    • It was done during King Arthur’s day.

The intersection of extremism and fitness leans into a shared obsession with the male body, training, masculinity, testosterone, strength and competition. Physical fitness training, especially in combat sports, appeals to the far right for many reasons: fighters are trained to accept significant physical pain, to be “warriors,” and to embrace messaging around solidarity, heroism, and brotherhood.

Some things:

  • I bet this person has never been in a gym.
  • Women are all over gyms and they’re wearing practically nothing.

  • We are to assume, right off the bat, that virility and manliness are bad and they have nothing to do with willpower, courage and decisiveness. She’s just dead wrong here.
    • A real man protects his family.
    • A real man follows his commitments to his wife and family.
    • A real man want children and care for them.
  • This is what real women are attracted to.

I bet this is a liberal, white broad and she is. This gal is more of a sexist than a racist. She just doesn’t like masculinity. She’s also saying she likes black men better because they’re less masculine? Does that make sense? Do you think black men would appreciate this article?

Episode 512 – What a Dolt

Let’s go over Joe Biden’s trip to Europe this weekend.

And Joe Biden is replacing the failed Build Back Better bill with the more expensive Making a Better America bill. Let’s go over it.

 

Time for the 25th Amendment

Joe Biden went to Spain and Poland to try to clean up Kamala Harris’ mess. Not only did he not clean it up but he made it worse. All his planned speeches went well. But when he went off script, he made a mess of things.

His first gaff came on Friday during a press conference. The gal who asked the question about what the United States would do if Russia used chemical and biological weapons:

Oops. He just told Russia that NATO would respond by using chemical and biological weapons. This is something nobody in NATO wants. The White House released a statement later in the day stating that neither the United States nor NATO have the intention of using any type of weapon of mass destruction.

That won’t be the last time I say that.

Then Joe Biden got really angry and started yelling at reporters. Here, he was asked what he thought about the sanctions failing.

Couple of things here:

  • Everyone in the Biden administration including Biden himself said these sanctions were for deterrence. He said that himself. He’s lying.
  • Him being angry at being asked why his sanctioned failed just magnifies his sanctions have failed.
  • He is right that sanctions typically do not work well as a deterrent. But then he should not state that they are suppose to be a deterrent.
  • And he did something that he really needs to stop doing and that’s calling Putin names. On this trip, he called him a murderer and brute.
  • Trump got a lot of crap for being too friendly to tyrants but he did this for a reason. It is far easier to negotiate with someone you’ve complimented than someone you’re insulting.

Here he is talking to an American Air Bourne battalion in Poland. He told them that they were going to see some horrible things when they get to Ukraine.

Again, Neither the U.S. or NATO forces will be going to Ukraine, nor should they. Of course, the White House walked that back too.

Here is Joe Biden being asked a question of what he thinks about Vlad Putin by a reporter:

“He’s a butcher”. What does that exactly accomplish? Does that sound particularly diplomatic?

All we hear from this administration is how much diplomatic experience Joe Biden has. Far more than Trump. But he has the diplomacy of an 8th grade bully on the school yard.

On Sunday, he held a speech in Warsaw, Poland. It was a good speech. He sounded lucid and his words were powerful. It was a well-written speech. But, at the end, he went off script and said what he thought.

The speech, which was a good speech, was all forgotten because Biden seemed to be saying that Vlad Putin needed to be overthrown and there needs to be regime change. That is what the headlines said after the speech. This plays right into Putin’s hands because he has been telling his people that the reason Russia is attacking Ukraine is because NATO wants to overthrow the Russian government.

Guess what? Biden just gave Putin a sound bite.

I know Biden isn’t running things.

 

I’m Glad I Waited

One of the reasons I like being late on stories is because new things come up. New things came up in this one.

President Joe Biden appeared to be unaware that his surrogates had spent a fair amount of time cleaning up or walking back things he said while in Europe to bolster allies and discuss the next moves with regard to Ukraine. There is some great comms in this administration.

Peter Doocy cornered the President again. What was Biden’s answer:

Don’t believe you lying ears. It never happened. Problem old Joe has is it did happen. So what does this mean? Do we have policy change that says we are after overthrowing Putin and bombing the crap out of Russia with chemical weapons or not? Or is he telling Doocy that he never said that and he’s actually walking what he said back now and we just didn’t know it? Or, maybe, old Joe doesn’t remember any of it?

It’s really time for the 25th Amendment and let old Joe to pasture.

Is He Kidding

Speaking of old Joe, he found his pen and is ready to write some policy that will make life miserable for everyone. Let’s go over it some of the things he’s doing.

 

This Guy Doesn’t Get It

President Joe Biden unveiled his budget plan for fiscal year 2023 on Monday, claiming that the $5.8 trillion dollar proposal would slash the federal deficit and “build a better America.”

Biden said in a statement:

“Budgets are statements of values, and the budget I am releasing today sends a clear message that we value fiscal responsibility, safety and security at home and around the world, and the investments needed to continue our equitable growth and build a better America.”

Further in the statement:

Biden claimed that his administration was “on track to reduce the federal deficit by more than $1.3 trillion this year, cutting in half the deficit from the last year of the previous Administration and delivering the largest one-year reduction in the deficit in U.S. history.” Biden added that his budget proposal would continue that progress by reducing the deficit further and supporting economic growth, while “ensuring that billionaires and large corporations pay their fair share.”

The budget proposal includes:

  • $813 billion in defense and national security spending.
    • $773 in spending specifically for the Department of Defense.
    • It also includes an extra $1 billion in additional funding for aid to Ukraine and $6.9 billion for the European Defense Initiative and NATO to support their efforts to counter Russian aggression.
  • $30 billion in federal funding to state and local law enforcement.
  • $360 to the Department of Justice for police reform, investigate hate crimes and protect voting rights.
  • $1.7 billion to fund a “firearm trafficking strike force” under the Department of Justice.
  • It gives the Department of Health and Human Services $81.7 billion and the CDC another $9.9 billion to prepare for future pandemics.
  • $3.3 billion for clean energy projects.
  • $18 billion for “climate resilience.”
  • Then there are other things like:
    • Affordable housing.
    • Anti-gun violence programs.
    • Manufacturing investments.

That’s just what we know of right now. With the return of earmarks, you know there is a lot of crap in this bill. I just gave you a little over a trillion dollars of line items. What is in the rest of the bill? I’ve got another question: How is dumping another six trillion going to ease inflation?

How’s old Joe going to pay for this?

  • The bill also contains the reported “Billionaire Minimum Income Tax” establishing a 20% minimum tax on households worth over $100 million, including both wages and other income like unrealized gains.
  • It also includes an increase in the corporate tax rate from 21% to 28%.

Here’s the deal, this bill is the Build Better Back bill with support for cops. So it will actually have a tougher time getting through Congress and is still not supported by Joe Manchin or Kyrsten Sinema.

One of the things we are going to have to discuss in the future is Modern Monetary Theory because Joe Biden buys this globalist philosophy and this bill will not lower the budget at all.

 

We Could Give Tax Money to Our Companies

President Joe Biden intends on fulfilling his commitment to supply Europe with liquified natural gas (LNG) by negotiating with foreign companies, rather than increasing U.S. production, to fill the need.

Joe Biden said on Friday:

“The United States, together with our international partners, we’re going to work to ensure an additional 15 — one-five — 15 billion cubic meters of liquified natural gas — LNG — for Europe this year.”

“And as the EU works to discontinue buying Russian gas well before 2030, it will also work to ensure additional EU market demand for 50 billion cubic meters of LNG from the United States annually by 2030.”

So we are going to pay foreign companies with tax money for oil and natural gas when our companies have been pumping more oil and natural gas than any country in the world. Heck, we were energy independent 16 months ago.

Episode 511 – The Slap Heard Around the World

The Oscars

The Oscars were last night and I didn’t watch a second of it. I don’t know who won but I’m sure a gay person of color won something. I’m just kidding, of course they did and I know it.

The Don’t Say Gay Bill No One Read

Of course, there has to be woke crap.

Here are the three co-hosts, Amy Schumer, Regina Hall and Wanda Sykes, protesting the Florida bill called  Parental Rights in Education. Of course the media renamed it the “Don’t Say Gay” bill. We read the entire bill last week, it was only four pages long, and it did not mention once that the word gay was banned. It isn’t. But these broads didn’t bother to read it.

Here they are, doing the same crap all the others who didn’t like that bill are doing:

I do want to point out that the Oscars are suffering from a massive viewership problem. Right in the beginning of the show, these three idiots just swooped in and alienated 60% of the country. Polls show that’s the percentage of people who think that it is a good bill once they knew what was in it because they don’t want their children sexually groomed.

Sean Penn

Actor Sean Penn really likes Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. He likes him a lot. Considering he like Che Guevara, Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez, that really brings into question the sainthood of Zelensky. Penn really want the Ukrainian president to speak at the Oscar ceremony.

Couple of things:

  • What’s this crap about Ukrainians taking bullets for Americans?
  • I’m pretty sure Hollywood has done a lot obscene things through it’s history.
  • What a self-aggrandizing bastard. Melt your f-ing Oscars. Who cares?

I also want to point something out about Ukraine:

  • Ukraine isn’t a true democracy. Before Zelenskyy took over four years ago, they were an extremely corrupt oligarchy. At one point, they were ranked one of the most corrupt governments in the world and that saying a lot.
  • Putin had mention that Russia was fighting Ukraine because of the major Nazi problem in Ukraine. Guess what? There are a lot of Nazis in Ukraine and they are all in the military.
  • Zelenskyy had talked about war crimes by the Russians and there are a ton of war crimes by the Russians. Reports are, there’s some war crimes being committed by the Ukrainians.
    • Russian prisoners are being executed.
    • Russian prisoners are being shot in the legs and crippled.
    • Russian prisoners are being castrated.
    • There is film but I don’t know how much is real.
  • Everyone complains about Russian disinformation. is throwing out a little disinformation themselves:
    • The Ghost of Kyiv.
    • The old lady that got ran over by a Russian tank and it turned out to be a Ukrainian tank.
    • The blowing up of the Chernobyl nuclear plant.

I’m going to say this now so I don’t have to say it later:

  • Vlad Putin is evil.
  • What Russia is doing is evil.
  • What is happening to the Ukrainians is terrible.
  • War crimes are being committed by the Russians.
  • And Ukrainians innocents are being killed by Russian soldiers.
  • But the fog of war is really thick.

We need to be reasonable. The “we need to do something” strategy when dealing with foreign policy needs to stop.

Sean Penn is not exactly the reasonable mind I would trust.

Will Smith

In the biggest moment of the night, Chris Rock made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith. Her husband, Will Smith, reacted, shall we say, badly. Listen and this is unedited:

Some things here:

  • One thing to realize here is that Will Smith was laughing at the jokes.
  • Jada Pinkett Smith was not and gave Rock daggers. Then she gave daggers to Will.
  • That’s when Will Smith went up and smacked the crap out of him and started throwing f-bombs at him.
  • Now, some background:
    • Jada has a scalp condition (alopecia) that makes her lose her hair. The joke was ill-timed and lacked sensitivity. But, that’s comedy.
    • Will Smith was laughing at the joke. It was her look that set him off, not the joke.
    • Jada tries to make herself a victim here, but he’s not. She’s f-ing everyone in the world and he knows about it. Can you think of something more damaging to the male ego than that? He’s a cuckold and he’s suppose to be good with that.
  • After the assault, Smith was consoled by Denzel Washington, P. Diddy and Tyler Perry. None of those people went to check on Chris Rock.

Maybe five minutes later, Will Smith wins the Oscar for Best Actor for the movie King Richard. Yeah, I haven’t seen the movie either.

Some things:

  • Of course, he gets a standing ovation.
  • Of course, he cries.
  • He tried to make himself a hero. A messenger from God.
  • He did apologize to Academy but not to Chris Rock who he smacked.
  • He said love and family make a man do crazy things.

There are many who are saying that he should have been arrested for assault right then and there. I agree. But he’s one of the elitists. Who I really feeling sorry for is Chris Rock. There was a video of him after the whole event and he was pissed. We forget he was a victim here. But no one cares.

Will Smith is a broken man. This is a man who is living a life with a woman who is cheating on him and everyone knows. She has set up an open marriage and is going along with it. The thing is, he’s not into it. He was interviewed two years ago and, when asked about the open marriage, he looked hurt and resigned.

The problem he has is he cannot find his sense of masculinity. His wife has taken it away. The joke online right now is that he can take is wife sleeping with other men but can’t take a joke. I don’t think it’s funny. I think it’s sad that his masculinity has to come out like this. His masculinity has become toxic.
